Starting point is 00:00:00 In today's video, President Trump made two historic announcements, one, about the U.K. trade deal, and two, about air traffic control operations. Also, Joe Biden made a disastrous appearance on the view today. Let's first start with what J.D. Vance had to say about the U.K. Take a listen. Why was the U.K. deal first? Is it the sort of the model for other deals? And why not go to the EU first, a bigger deal? Well, first, I think we have a great relationship with the United Kingdom. You know, the prime minister, the foreign minister visited a few weeks ago. We had very good conversation. with them. I think they were very responsive. I mean, look, President Trump has said very simply, all he wants at a lot of these trade negotiations is fairness, is reciprocity. He wants other markets to be
Starting point is 00:00:40 as fair to American workers, frankly, as America has been to these foreign workers for decades, in some cases, generations. And the United Kingdom was very willing to work with us. I think we had a great rapport with them. They were very open to hearing our concerns, and of course we heard some of their issues too. It was a good conversation. It was a good negotiation. It led to a successful result. All right, so that was the vice president speaking on the trade deal between our country and the UK. Now, I'm going to show you what both sides are saying, and I don't think you'll be surprised because the left is clearly downplaying this accomplishment, and the White House is celebrating this. And they should, because you have to understand, you're literally shifting the
Starting point is 00:01:21 paradigm of the trade industry. That's what President Trump is doing, and that's not an easy thing to do, which is why a majority of presidents have stayed away from meddling in trade agreements. That's just the reality. Now, here is the actual official announcement. In case you missed it, just really quickly here, President Trump announcing this trade deal. Take a listen. I just want to begin by saying that this is a very special day because it's Victory Day, World War II, May 8th. And just by happenstance, we have the prime minister on the phone.
Starting point is 00:01:55 and we were great allies in that, and it's very unusual that the trade deal comes due, and we signed it up on the same day that we had a great victory, the greatest victory of them all. So we are talking more and more about Victory Day because we were a big part of it, and so was the UK, and it's just, I guess, I don't know what you call it. It's just incredible that that day is the same day that we signed a tremendous trade deal, for both countries. So I'm going to begin by just adding that we just concluded the rare earth deal with Ukraine. That's been fully ratified and approved by their legislative branches. And so we appreciate that. And I'll be speaking with the president in a little while, a little bit later.
Starting point is 00:02:45 And we appreciate that. But the deal is all now signed up and ratified. All right. So here is the graphic that the White House released and President Trump posted on true social giving you the bottom line to this trade deal with the United Kingdom. New market access is valued at $5 billion. So our businesses here, particularly manufacturers and individuals who work in the agriculture industry, will be able to access UK's market. That value, again, $5 billion. We're going to make $6 billion in tariff revenue due to the 10% tariffs we have on them now. And the UK is going to drop their tariffs on us from 5.1 to 1.8. They go on to say that unprecedented access to UK market could include ethanol, beef, cereal, fruits, vegetables,
Starting point is 00:03:31 animal feed, tobacco, soft drinks, shellfish, textiles, chemicals, machinery, and more. So this is a huge win. But according to MSNBC, this is marginal. Take a listen. Yeah, I mean, it sounds like this This is a marginal deal and that it's not that big of a deal when we look at. I'm curious to see the details of how much there will be in change compared to what we previously had with the UK compared to what this deal will shape up to look like since it sounds like they're still ironing out the details. But it didn't surprise me to hear the cabinet officials and some of the UK officials kind of praising Trump and boosting his ego a bit and stroking his ego because that's what they know they need to do. for the cabinet officials, it's what they do to keep their jobs and keep him happy. And then the UK officials also know that in order to negotiate the best deal for their country that they need to stroke his ego. And so that's kind of, I think, what we saw take place there.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Okay, so she claims that this is a marginal deal, but we have to understand who she is. We're talking about the former Deputy White House Press Secretary from Trump 1.0, who's spending their time on MSNBC. I think that tells you what her mindset is. That's number one. Number two, this is not marginal, especially for the manufacturers who are now going to have access to U.K.'s market, which means they can generate more money, which means what? They probably will hire more people here in America. So it's so interesting how they just crap all over American citizens, particularly the voters who support President Trump, especially in this deal.
Starting point is 00:05:00 But they can't help themselves. We know that. Now, let's hear the polar opposite to what they had to say. Here's the trade representative who was actually a part of this deal, Jameson Greer. Take a listen. I think any time you get positive news, you'll get a reaction in the stock market. Sometimes the market will underreact or overreact. What's important to look at are the trends.
Starting point is 00:05:21 And the trends we're looking at are the market's in a great place. The jobs numbers were good. We're going to have more deals in the weeks and months to come. We're talking to China this weekend, the Secretary of the Treasury, and I. I think everybody should take comfort and be excited about what's coming. The president has shown that he knows how to use trade policy and connection with other economic tools to have a very competitive economy. And that's what we're seeing right now. And the market is just one aspect of that.
Starting point is 00:05:48 All right. Now, before we go any further, please, if you get in value from our channel in this video, like, share and subscribe. Now, what's interesting and probably wasn't expected, morning Joe this morning, supported this announcement from the president. Imagine that. MSNBC acknowledging something positive from the Trump administration. I know. Hear it for yourself. Well, I mean, is it portend. I think it's good news. This is what the president of the White House has been saying
Starting point is 00:06:21 he's going to be coming for some time. There have obviously been real concerns. But here you have the president that's moving forward on a trade negotiation that began his first term in office. A similar thing could happen. With Canada, there was a trade deal there. Maybe they can move forward and figure out a way to get a. trade deal done that way. Of course, all eyes in the market are on China because obviously it's such a key player there. But there is no doubt, Steve Ratner, this is good news. Now, that was a huge announcement from this morning. And there was another one as well. We're talking about the FAA and Sean Duffy coming out and stating that over the next three to four years, they plan to
Starting point is 00:06:59 replace all air traffic control systems. Now, you would think this is positive news, but wait until I show you what both sides are saying. Let's first start with the Secretary. himself. Here's what he said today. I want to first start off by talking about how historic this day is. The fact that the FAA is going to undertake an initiative that has never been done before. And as we look back, a lot of people in industry and leaders have said, this problem is too complicated. This problem is way too expensive. And a redo air traffic control is way too hard. We can't get it done. But we are blessed to have a president who actually loves to build and knows how to build. President Trump understands the problem, and he wants to fix the problem.
Starting point is 00:07:48 He doesn't want to take this problem and pass it to the next administration, to the next secretary, to a next set of victims who could lose their life in an air traffic incident. We're going to fix it today. So in essence, all the front-facing equipment for controllers, all the back-end systems for controllers, all brand new. All new hardware, all new software is going to be built into this brand-new air traffic control system. I think our country, our people, those who use the airspace, they deserve this moment in time to actually deliver an air traffic control system that's going to keep them safe. The second had them delayed for four hours or their flights canceled, a system that works for them. So what President Trump is proposing here is really a Band-Aid, in my opinion. I'm explaining to you why.
Starting point is 00:08:41 The history of the FAA, particularly air traffic control operations, is a troubled one. Because every time they go to roll out a new system, what happens? Let me give you the analogy. What happens is what's happened in California with the high-speed rail. it ends up being more money than what they thought it would be it ends up taking longer than what they said it would take and it actually ends up being obsolete by the time it has rolled out completely so i love the goal i love that they're being bold here but the real solution in my opinion is to privatize air traffic control operations because it's going to move at a different
Starting point is 00:09:21 speed it's like space x versus nassah space x moves at entirely different speed than Because NASA is constrained by the federal government. Now, President Trump did speak about this announcement earlier inside the Oval Office, and he did take some time out to trash the former Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg. Here's what he said. What about the air traffic control issue? Are you looking at getting new software? I'm glad you asked me about it because I'm just going to be talking to now with the heads of the airlines and everything else.
Starting point is 00:09:50 So I was all set before we had the rigged election to give out a brand new gorgeous system to one company that was going to do it a whole thing, one of the best companies in the world that you know very well. You know, there are three or four of them that do it. And when they took over, Buttigieg, who has no clue. You know, he drives to work on his bicycle
Starting point is 00:10:10 with his, in all fairness, with his husband on the back, which is a nice, loving relationship. But he didn't have a clue. This guy didn't have a clue. And he's actually a contender for president. Between him and Crockett, you can have that party. But he didn't have
Starting point is 00:10:27 He didn't know what he was doing. And he took what they call dry systems, systems where you have wires in the earth, buried in the earth or whatever. And then you have the open air systems where you have satellites. And you can't mesh that. Anybody would know that if you went through about two months of study in school, if you studied that kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:10:47 And he did. They spent tens of billions of dollars trying to take old, broken, equipment and merging it into existing new equipment with brand new equipment. It's one of the greatest, they spent like $40 billion, $40 billion. And what they did is they made it worse. So the president is correct. The federal government will always make it worse and it will cost more.
Starting point is 00:11:16 This is why they should privatize air traffic control operations. Now before you freak out because you heard the P word, who are you going to believe will keep us safer? the federal government or a private company that depends on it in order to stay open. Just think about that for a second. Now, the Secretary of Transportation also had this to say about the past administration. Take a listen. I love Democrats who are now, like, all concerned about air traffic control.
Starting point is 00:11:41 They spent $1.2 trillion in the Biden era, Buttigieg era, $1.2 trillion on American infrastructure, and they didn't spend anything on air traffic control, and they knew it was getting old and needed a massive rebuild. They didn't do it. Now they're complaining during the Trump administration, we're the ones that are actually going to fix it. Now, let's go to our next story. And this one was, you know, a little hesitant on my behalf because I really don't like talking about these women. But Joe Biden went on to the view this morning to continue to defend these books that have been coming out and questioning his mental acuity. And they finally asked them some tough questions.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And unfortunately, his wife had to jump in. Take a look. Yeah. Mr. President, since you left office, there have been a number of books that have come out. deeply sourced from Democratic sources that claim in your final year there was a dramatic decline in your cognitive abilities in the in the final year of your presidency what is your response to these allegations or are these sources wrong there are wrong there's nothing to sustain that number one number two you know think of what what we're left with we left with a circumstance where we we had an insurrection and I started We, the nonsense of civil war. We had a circumstance where we were in a position that we, well, the pandemic, because of the incompetence of the last outfit, end up over a million people dying,
Starting point is 00:13:10 a million people dying. And we're also in a situation where we found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just basic issues, which I won't go into interest of time. And so we went to work. And we got it done. And, you know, one of the things that, well, I haven't talked to all. Well, and, Alyssa, you know, one of the things I think is that the people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us. And they didn't see how hard Joe worked every single day.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Okay, so number one, just from the standpoint as an American citizen, I do not want to see a former president on the view sounding that way. Okay? I just don't. I really feel bad for the guy. I honestly think they're forcing him to do this. I just don't see why he would want to go onto the view, knowing the way that he sounds and how he looks. That's just me. Secondly, you know, Jill Biden's response, yeah, that's rich. Okay. So you can't have it both ways. You can't push away reporters and put boundaries up against them, preventing them from calling your husband out. And then cry when they write a book about doing all that, that they weren't in the White House. So which one is it? Now, it continues.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Take a listen. I mean, he'd get up. He put in a full day. And then at night, I'd be in bed, you know, reading my book. And he was still on the phone, reading his briefings, working with staff. I mean, it was nonstop. If you look at things today, give me Joe Biden any time. Now, of course, the view didn't even do any quality follow-ups to those answers, because
Starting point is 00:15:03 saying that you worked hard does not mean you did not have a mental acuity issue, okay? Everybody knows that. Now, he went on, and he made another shocking statement here in regards to Kamala Harris, where he believes that, you know, they were going to lose anyway, and that the real reason why she lost is due to sexism and racism. I know. Take a listen. think the vice president lost, and were you surprised?
Starting point is 00:15:30 I wasn't surprised, not because I didn't think the vice president's most qualified person to be president. She is. She's qualified to be president of the United States of America. But I was surprised. I wasn't surprised because they went the root of the sexist route, the whole route. I mean, this is a woman, she's this, she's that. I mean, really, I've never seen quite as successful and a consistent campaign. campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn't lead the country and a woman of mixed
Starting point is 00:16:01 race. And they played that to a fairly well. Okay. So if you believe she's so qualified, why were you so hesitant to endorse her as the presidential candidate? That's number one. Number two, why'd you run in the first place? If you're so confident in her ability, you should have never ran in the first place.
Starting point is 00:16:23 You should immediately say, hey, you know what, Vice President? you go ahead and take this. But no, you try to hold on to the very last minute until they put the screws to you. So that's a bunch of bull. Sexism and racism is not why she lost the election. It's the fact that she's out of touch. And she represents what majority of Americans hate, which is this elitism and establishment in politics.
Starting point is 00:16:47 It's as simple as I can make it. She's not relatable. Now, let's hear what the vice president had to say in response to Joe Biden. And I think you'll probably laugh. Tickalus. Joe Biden came out and did an interview yesterday. He said that the famous Zelensky Oval Office confrontation was, quote, beneath America. What would you say to the former president?
Starting point is 00:17:07 Well, I think it's rich for Joe Biden to comment on anything that we're doing when it comes to Russia and Ukraine. Because, of course, under Biden's administration, Russia launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. And if we wanted to take advice from anybody on foreign policy, especially foreign policy in Europe, it would not be Joe Biden. I wish Joe Biden the best. I don't really care what he has to say about American foreign policy because so much of what he actually did was a total disaster. If we just did the opposite of what Joe Biden did, I think we'd have one of the most successful foreign policy administrations in a very long time.
Starting point is 00:17:37 So he can spend his time on the beach or doing whatever Joe Biden does. We'll continue trying to fix the problems that he created. Okay. So J.D. Vance is saying exactly how I feel. I'm sure you feel the same way. And at the end of the day, nobody cares what Biden wants to say or think or defend. And yeah, so at the end of the day, nobody cares what Biden thinks. I totally agree with that.
Starting point is 00:17:56 That's why I love what J.D. Vance had to say. And what's more interesting to me is not even what he said. It's what people on the left are saying about the former president. Take a look at this. I mean, Brendan, what do you make of what we heard from President Biden? Not just that soundbite, but he's also defending his mental competence. He's saying there was never a decline. He says that was basically overstated.
Starting point is 00:18:18 He says he dropped out to unify the party because he felt like, Democrats have just become too divided. Yeah, well, just to kind of bring it all together, I think one thing Democrats need to do is acknowledge that the president did have a decline and that the Democratic Party did a very poor job of acknowledging the reality that every single American saw. And I think, sadly, again, on the view today, we saw a person who is not very sharp at this point and that, you know, he's an older man and maybe that's to be expected. He clearly cares about his legacy, and that's obviously what this is all about. He's getting hammered even from his own party, a lot of people criticizing him and feels the need to get out there. Of course, there's a book coming out, and there's a book coming out that is supposed to look at what happened behind the scenes about what a lot of people would say the cover up of his mental decline. And he obviously cares about that and trying to get ahead of it.
Starting point is 00:19:05 I don't know that he did himself any favors today, but that's obviously what he's trying to do. And the irony here is Democrats covered it up. Democrats defended him, and then Democrats put him out the pasture, and now Democrats are profiting from his demise. Isn't that interesting? Now, let's go to our next story. This is Cash Patel, once again, having to put Democrats in their place. So yesterday, he testified in front of the House Appropriations Committee. Now he's testifying in front of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Starting point is 00:19:40 And let's just say things with the same way as they did yesterday. He had to put them in check. Take a look at this exchange. I have not placed anyone on leave who has not violated their ethical obligation or their oath to the Constitution. they were investigating January 6th, you believe they were violating an ethic obligation? Nope. I think the common theme here is you put in words in my mouth, and I'm not going to tolerate it, nor will the men and women of the FBI. Well, you did place on leave an analyst responsible for investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election. Is that politicization? Is that retribution?
Starting point is 00:20:12 No, not if she broke the law or the ethical guidelines. I don't know which case you're talking about, but that's the standard. And we will hold ourselves inwardly accountable. And we will not be strayed from our, mission because people think we are politicizing the bureau. If you want to talk about someone who was attacked by a weaponized bureau, you're looking at him. And now he's the director of the FBI and he's cleaning it up. Well, I would just say to everyone who's listening that the FBI needs to be focused on its mission to keep the entire country safe. It should not be weaponized for partisan political gain. Thank you. We are. Yeah. So Cash Patel, he's not having it, right? And I love how he doesn't back down from these people because we know why they're doing all this, right? This
Starting point is 00:20:52 Again, I say it all the time, dog and pony show. It's another way for them, I don't know, to get clicks, to get attention. I don't understand what the return on investment is acting that way. I think if they truly cared about the budget of the FBI and how the FBI operates, they should have showed that type of seriousness there in the Biden administration, where we really saw the weaponization of that agency, no question. So I think it's laughable that they're trying to accuse him of weaponizing the FBI. Now, let's actually get your reaction to a lot of these stories from this video today in the comment section below.
Starting point is 00:21:27 What's your take on Sean Duffy announcing that a new air traffic control system will be installed over the next three to four years? Do you believe it's actually possible or will it be delayed and probably take like a decade? And what do you think about President Trump and this trade deal? I think it's a super win or do you agree with MSNBC? It's a marginal deal, right? And then again, Joe Biden making that embarrassing appearance. Let me know what you guys think about all of this in the comment section below. Now, we ended this video with Cash Patel, but I want you to check out what happened to him yesterday,
Starting point is 00:22:02 where not only did he have to testify like I stayed in in front of the house, but he also made a huge announcement along with Pam Bondi about cracking down on child predators. If you missed out on that story and more from yesterday, all you have to do is click on that video because it's coming up right now. You know, Oh, Oh, Oh.
Starting point is 00:22:22 Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.
