Vice President J.D. Vance just issued a major announcement regarding fraud.
He just froze $1.3 million in Medicaid funds out of the state of California.
And Gavin Newsom's been caught spending $200 million on tablets for prison inmates to watch porn.
So much more to get to in this video.
But let's hear what the vice president had to say.
Take a look.
The vice president and his fraud tax force are basically telling these states that their investigators need to take this fraud more seriously.
Or they risk losing some of that federal.
funding and they made some pretty big announcements here just a few moments ago. They're saying
$1.3 billion in Medicare reimbursements are now being diverted from the state of California.
Now just in the LA area, mostly the LA area, 800 hospices have been suspended. They say less than
20 of them have called to complain about being suspended. CMS administrator, Dr. Oz, also making
a big announcement that no new hospice or home health providers can enroll in Medicare until
until they root out some of the bad actors who are committing this fraud across the country,
the vice president calling out local investigators in the state of Hawaii for not having
one single Medicaid fraud indictment. Take a listen.
The administrators of the Hawaii program just don't take it seriously.
They don't think that fraud is a big enough problem.
They don't care about protecting resources.
They don't care about protecting that Medicaid program.
So what does that mean?
That means that if you're committing fraud and Medicaid in Hawaii, at least up
until now, hopefully now they're going to take it seriously. You have had effectively free reign from
the government of Hawaii to commit as much fraud as you want. That is a complete disgrace.
So there's really two sides to this story. Side number one, if someone was taking money out of
your bank account and making purchases that were not authorized, what would you do? You would
freeze the funds. In fact, that's what we call fraudulent charges and we call up our bank and
what happens? Charge back or they return the money. Now, the other side to this is that, well,
wait a minute, you're hurting innocent people, right? People who need these programs because the funding
is going to get cut. That is absolutely true. Two things are true at the same time. When you're
governing the masses here as the federal government, there is no easy way to get this done.
This is going to hurt. But it's the right thing to do. I mean, we either do this or we do nothing at
all because we can't leave it up to Democrats to do the right thing. They've proven that with the
level of fraud that's been exposed, particularly California, which is why the vice president
had this to say as it pertains to the $1.7 billion of funds that have now been frozen.
First, we're announcing that the federal government is deferring $1.3 billion in Medicaid reimbursements
from the state of California. And the simple reason is because the state of California has not
taken fraud very seriously. And because of that, we see a lot of the consequences that I just
referenced. Today, we are sending across 50 Medicaid programs. We are sending letters that will require
them to show that they are effectively and aggressively prosecuting Medicaid fraud in their states.
And if they do not, if they do not aggressively prosecute Medicaid fraud, we are going to turn
off the money that goes to these anti-fraud units.
I mean, it's an ultimatum.
You either get with the program, crack down on fraud, or we're going to freeze your funds.
Some people may say that's an aggressive approach, but I think it's overdue.
Again, if we leave it up to these states, and again, these are federal dollars that we're
talking about.
We're not talking about state dollars.
We're talking about federal tax money.
If we leave it up to these states to do the right thing,
they're not going to do the right thing.
So whatever we've been doing previously doesn't work.
So why don't we try something else.
And so that's why I'm supportive of the approach.
We'll see where it leads.
And hopefully we find the balance of cracking down on fraud
and making sure people who need these programs can get it.
Okay.
Let's go to this other story because it's almost a segue.
And it's interesting because it's California all over again.
But this time, they've been caught funding millions of dollars in regards to paying for tablets for people in prison to watch porn.
Take a listen.
Gavin Newsom, despite warnings from prison officials, agreed to a $189 million contract to provide these tablets for all inmates.
And we interviewed a dozen death row inmates, rapists, murderers, child molesters, all of the most horrific crimes imaginable.
And they told us very straightforwardly.
Prisoners are using them to watch pornography, to have X-rated video chats with people on the outside.
And in at least one case, a prisoner was using it to groom and abuse a minor girl on the outside.
Thankfully, he's now facing trial.
But the big question is this.
Why on earth is Gavin Newsom providing personal pornography devices to every inmate in the state of California?

Now we go to our next update.
This is Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
I think she's finished for so many different reasons.
But this is just another example that her newest attack on Spencer Pratt is very simple.
She claims that the ads that he is running, the content that he's putting up on social media,
is violent. Take a look.
Pratt has been sharing out AI-generated ads that show Pratt as a comic book hero and Bass and other
leaders of the Democratic Party as various villains. Those ads have gotten millions of impressions.
What do you make of his campaign and much of it now relying on AI showing you as the Joker,
showing you as Darth Vader,
him sharing out other people's AI that shows that.
What goes through your mind when you see that?
Well, actually, I think it's a very dangerous trend.
One, because it is absolutely 150% fiction.
But what's worrying me now is that his social media is now taking on a violent turn.
So she finds it scary when someone creates an AI video of her being, I guess, beat up by tomatoes.
But it's not violent when you're calling the president of the United States a white supremacist.
He's a threat to democracy and a fascist.
And he needs to be stopped.
Now, which one sounds more violent?
Just be honest here.
I mean, it's just crazy.
Again, when they get a taste of their own medicine, that's when they freak out.
And get this.
When I say a taste of their own medicine, it's not even as radical as the way that they speak.
I mean, if you just say something that you disagree with them on, they're already calling you a bigot.
A racist, a white supremacist.
And let's not forget this, too.
A MAGA extremist.
That's Hakeem Jeffrey's favorite word.
And that worries me.
Because when you do that and when your messages are so hateful
or when you demonize people,
then you do provoke people who are unstable.
And you can jeopardize people's safety.
You mean like the throwing of the tomatoes?
Well, the throwing of the tomatoes, which look like blood,
or drowning me and the governor in a reservoir.
But there's also other violent.
And so I've noticed that it's taking on a violent trend.
And that I find to be very scary.
But I do know that he has become wildly famous again.
But a lot of his support, I don't know how much of it is in LA.
All right.
Let's take a moment and talk about something serious.
How many of you guys have been punished because of your credit?
What am I talking about?
You're out there, you're working hard, you're making money.
Then when you try to go get a car, an apartment, or a home, you get denied.
It's the ultimate frustrating experience.
This is where kickoff comes in because even though you may make a lot of money, the system sees you differently based on your credit score.

Yeah, no one's demonizing anybody.
I mean, in fact, she's been demonizing people.
She's been demonizing ICE agents.
She demonizes the law enforcement officials.
She demonized people who were pushing back on the Pacific Palisades fire that she failed to respond to.
I mean, we could play the same game.
Now, she wasn't the only one to attack Spencer Pratt.
Here is a councilwoman Rahman, who, again, she fell in the polls.
Here she is calling Spencer Pratt a mini-Trump.
I feel that frustration around me in Los Angeles every day.
You need to offer it an honest response, a response that's rooted in actually solving these problems.
Otherwise, people will turn to fascism to mini-Trump, which is who I think Spencer Pratt really represents.
Michael, what do you say about that?
It's outrageous, right?
I mean, she is saying that, you know, we need to fix these problems.
Well, she had the job.
In fact, she was the chair on the solving the homeless issue in L.A.
and failed in that as well. And Spencer Pratt pointed that out at the debate. I think her problem
ultimately is that she's also responsible. So she's trying to run against the sitting mayor,
but she's been a councilwoman for six years. Spencer Pratt speaks plainly. He speaks directly to
Angelenos and language they can understand about the problems that they see. If only the rest of these
politicians would get with the program and learn that lesson from Spencer Pratt or even President
Trump. You think after a decade of President Trump, people would have learned already, right? I mean, you'd think they'd be in a room and saying, hey, how can we make sure our message is basic, relatable, and it makes people feel like we understand them? You'd think that's what they would be doing. But as you guys hear me say every time on the show, Republicans have struggled to do that. Democrats definitely, they don't even, I don't even think they're even on the same planet in regards to that type of messaging. They are your hall.
monitor, the people waving their finger telling you what's right and what's wrong, instead of
getting with the program here.
But the interesting thing is, and I've been saying this for quite some times, Pinsoprad is a case study.
All right, let's go to our next update.
This war on redistricting continues because Missouri just been approved to redraw their maps
the way that they want them.
South Carolina pushed back on it yesterday, but it's not stopping people like Cory Booker,
who continues to show up on mainstream media and cry racism.
Take a look.
I hope all Americans can understand why many of us feel a wound and a rupturing that they might not fully grasp.
There are many of us who know folk, who suffered, who bled, who struggled for the rights that I enjoy,
that have enabled me to be one of America's first ever popularly elected African Americans in Congress on number four after Barack Obama in the Senate.
there is so much sacrifice and pain to end the post-reconstruction period where southern states used all kind of dirty tricks to effectively eviscerate black representation in Congress.
This Supreme Court, whatever you want to say, the legal rationale, which I disagree with, but the actual result is to send us back to an era in the post-reconstruction period where Southern states effectively stopped black people.
from having a voice in this democracy, representation in this democracy.
At the end of the day, this is a learned behavior type of situation.
They say this because that's what they've always said.
Not because that is what it is.
It's not the reality.
And no matter how many times they try to repeat it, it's not true.
Now, I also believe that if you repeat a lie long enough, people will believe it.
And in a sense, it is true because perception is reality.
So you'll have a group of people out there that,
They feel this is true.
So in their life, it is true.
But in the world of reality, objective truth, it's not.
And you guys know that.
And Corey Booker, believe it or not, there's a lot of people who sound just like him.
There's a lot of people who think just like him.
What he is saying, there's a lot of people who say that.
So what do you say to people who say that?
Well, I would just ask them questions like, okay, give me an example of one right that has been taken away from black people today.
Just name one.
This doesn't just hurt the African American community.
I am here right now because people from all backgrounds join hands, sacrifice and struggle to advance our democracy.
People died like Goodman, Cheney and Schwarner, black and white, Christian and Jewish, because they understood that this democracy can't be real for some people.
reach for others. The very principle of fair elections, a sacred aspect of our democracy has now
been eviscerated. And all the blood, all the toil, all the death, all the martyrs that has
been disrespected by a Supreme Court that ultimately has resulted in the painful present now
where communities all over the South who enjoyed fair voting maps and fair voting have now
lost that right and that access to our democracy.
There's no law preventing a black person from voting.
Well, you know, this whole Save America Act is going to make them hard to get an ID.
Black people have no problem getting an ID.
I just proved that.
I had to take my passport, my vehicle registration, my insurance, and proof I live where I say I live,
down to the Department of Public Safety or whatever it's called in Texas.
And I got my license.
No worries.
And I was registered to vote in the same process.
had no problem. I grew up in a home where my mother never made it about race. And only time she made
it about race was about if I even look like I was trying to be ghetto, I was trying to talk a certain way,
I was trying to walk a certain way, she was on me. That just never was a thing in her house,
never, which I'm so grateful for that that was her parenting style, because I'd never had that idea
planted in my mind that race was the center of a conversation.
Republicans have concluded that they need to cheat to win.
That's what they're celebrating.
Is that what you're elevating right now?
The notion that four unelected judges would overturn the votes of more than three million
citizens in Virginia, is this what Republicans are celebrating right now?
Because the people in Virginia right now are outraged.
angry and they're determined to send a message in November, regardless of what ultimately
happens before the Supreme Court of the United States of America, where that reckless decision
by the Virginia Supreme Court is now on appeal.
I mean, Hakeem Jeffers has been really spewing a lot of hyperbole, especially over the past
two weeks as it relates to the Supreme Court.
It definitely shows you that he's not a serious guy.
I mean, if the Supreme Court rules in their favor, they're jumping for joy.
If the Supreme Court rules against them, they're saying that we need to change the Supreme Court.
We need to pack the Supreme Court.
We need to introduce term limits.
You know, it's like a kid who's not getting their way.
So they throw a tantrum.
And what's fascinating is attacking the Supreme Court from Cory Booker and Jeffries.
They should be saying the same thing about Congress.
If you guys want term limits for the Supreme Court, you guys should definitely be subjected to term limits.
It's fascinating.
So if Jeffries is upset about Virginia and Louisiana, he's definitely going to be upset at this announcement.
This is coming from the Missouri Supreme Court.
Listen to this.
The Missouri Supreme Court issued two lightning fast rulings on redistricting this afternoon, both unanimous.
The end result, the mid-decade congressional map remains in place.
Fox 4's Missouri Capital Bureau reporter Mark Zinn has reaction on those closing arguments.
The Missouri Supreme Court hearing testimony Tuesday on three separate cases with one.
similar thing. Redistricting.
The first two cases heard Tuesday, Healy v. Missouri, and
Weiss v. Missouri, are centered around
the new congressional district themselves, with attorneys making arguments
over whether or not the new Missouri-first congressional map
meets the recognized threshold for compactness.
The general assembly said, any citizen
after that decision can come to the court
and ask for that decision to be reversed.
The council does not understand that the legal standard
requires a connected thread between the two.
Now, we had discussed this yesterday regarding that poll from CNN.
It's truly bad news for Democrats because as everything is today, you know what's fascinating
about this entire fight?
It has not gotten better.
The fascinating thing about this entire fight regarding these congressional maps, it's
only gotten worse for Democrats.
I mean, they went from having a 25-seat advantage to now, according to CNN yesterday, and
we talked about it if you saw that video, it's going to be a toss-up.
in the midterms. This comes after everything that's happening even right now with the Iran
war, high gas prices, it's still a toss up and the president is still polling higher than Republicans
and Democrats. Meaning reality, it's not matching the rhetoric. But let's go to Speaker Mike Johnson
because he had an interview where he weighed in on this. Take a look. We think the analysis is
by the end of all this when you correct all that, Republicans probably pick up between seven and eight
seats and maybe double digits, depending on how many seats get, the states get involved. That's obviously
a good thing for the outcome of the election, and it gives us an even greater chance to win the
House. You have a president who's running like his 2024. He's out on the campaign trail as well
because the stakes are so high. We can't lose the majority in the House because it would come
crashing down around him. And you're going to have a lot of factors in play that have not been
a factor in previous midterms. We're going to win. So there's that. Well, he sounds optimistic.
And my only pushback to Speaker Mike Johnson is why does a president have to get out there and campaign for you guys?
You guys should be getting out there.
I think that's the criticism that is well deserved.
For some reason, Republicans do not believe they need to leave their office and go meet constituents where they're at.
But hopefully they catch on to that message.
Do the Spencer Pratt thing.
Go where people are at.
Speak on the issues.
Connect with them.
And maybe that will be the world of difference in my opinion.
But at any rate, why don't you share yours in the comments section below?
What did you make up this announcement from the vice president?
It's an ultimatum to these states.
They're going to continue to freeze funds, $1.3 billion already from California.
And that's not the first time, by the way.
Also, what do you make of California spending almost $200 million on tablets for prison inmates to watch porn?
I mean, that's a whole other thing.
And then give you your thoughts about everything else that we talked about in this video.
