So the district attorney out of Fairfax County, Virginia was on Capitol Hill this morning,
and he absolutely got obliterated during his hearing.
Not only was he exposed for his fatal policies, but the excuses that he made up will leave you shocked.
And then Cook County out of Illinois, their program, the track criminals who are released on the streets temporarily,
it has absolutely failed and we'll show you how.
But first, let's start with this hearing and what happened. Take a look.
Ms. Minter, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
And I say that not only as a prosecutor, but as a parent of a daughter, I am sorry for what you are having to endure.
And I promise that my office is doing everything we can to prosecute the man responsible.
Well, Descano also testified that his policies do not protect or favor criminal, illegal aliens.
However, Harris, his own website previously seemed to admit that he does favor them.
It's now deleted, but for years, his website said in part, quote, wherever possible, Steve Lord,
make charging and plea decisions that limit or avoid immigration consequences. And if two people
commit the same crime, but only one's punishment includes deportation, that's a perversion of
justice and not a reflection of the values of Fairfax County. Now, I love stories like this because
at a minimum, even if this district attorney is not held accountable. And I mean he should be sued
civilly at a minimum. At least he was exposed on Capitol Hill for the public record.
meaning the public got to see him for the liar that he truly is and how his way of leadership
leaves American citizens in harm's way, particularly people who live in Fairfax County,
as we've had multitude of stories, whether it was the illegal alien who was going to high school,
groping the teenagers, or even Stephanie Mitter, who was killed at the bus stop.
These are a result of self-inflicted wounds from these policies, also known as Sanctuary City policy.
into this is Jim Jordan, getting into this heated back and forth with the district attorney.
Take a look at this.
Mr. Descano, why did you change your website?
Sir, first of all, let me address what you had said earlier.
No, no, you answered the questions we asked.
You answered the questions we asked.
I asked a simple question.
Why did you change your website last month?
Well, sir, your statements about we're not, don't want to prosecute guys is absolutely false.
And my policies so far in this hearing.
Are you saying what the sheriff wrote me is wrong?
No, what I'm saying is that the way that my policies had.
December 16.
Presented in this are outrageous.
She said the Commonwealth's attorney, that's you,
chose not to prosecute Mr. Morales-Ortiz on December 16th,
and they had to release him.
They had to do their job because you wouldn't prosecute.
What happened on December 17th, Mr. Descano?
Well, sir, let's talk about December 16th.
No, no, that's the question.
What happened on December 17th?
This same guy murdered somebody.
This guy murdered somebody.
And I'm asking you, why did you change your website?
Well, do you not want me to talk to you about the actual case?
I want you to answer the first question.
I said. Which was about the case.
Why did you change your website?
Well, sir, because the website
is not my
policy. My policy
you are referring to a campaign
I think the voters might be interested in that.
This is your campaign website where you said
our office will take immigration
consequences into account when making charging
and plea decisions. Immigration
consequences were certainly part of the game here,
part of the issue here with Mr. Morales-Ortiz.
No, they weren't. They decided not to cross-
So the argument here from the district
attorney is that language was a part of my campaign to get elected. It's not actually a part of my
policies that I'm implementing as district attorney. The problem, though, is if in regards to optics,
this doesn't look good. And the other problem is his decision making matches the campaign statements
that he would treat illegal migrants in the way that he has, which is essentially allowed them to get away
with these heinous crimes. And just think about it for a second. We're not talking about someone who
across the border illegally into the Trump administration or during the Trump administration
and just committed this heinous act out of nowhere, this guy had already been arrested previously
to murdering Stephanie Menter. And even then he was trying to give him a plea deal. This is,
this guy does not belong as district attorney in any city in my opinion. But let's continue.
You are, you are assuming something that is not, that is in fact untrue because you are
misrepresenting my policies. My policies do not say that.
that we do not prosecute people.
Well, if you're proud of your policies, why did you change your website?
Because that's not my policy.
As I told you, sir, that is a campaign statement that I made before I was commonwealth.
It had been up for six years a week after we send you a letter saying,
we want you to come testify, Shazam, you change it.
Because I could not.
Is that coincidental?
Because I could not believe that people were so obtuse that they could not realize
what the difference between a campaign statement and an actual office policy is.
So when you make it.
campaign statements, that's not, those aren't true. You're not being honest with your voters?
That's not what I'm saying at all, sir sounded like it. Sure sounded like it. That's absolutely
not. What I'm saying is that when you, you still haven't told me why you took it down.
Because I was hoping to come here to talk about my office policies, not be distracted by a campaign
statement that was being a year before I was actually Commonwealth Attorney Attorney General.
And had any cases that were mine. This is almost laughable. This is your policy. You said it right here. You told the
voters, if you elect me, I will take into account immigration consequences when making
charging and plead decisions. This is my policy. Not what you have in your hand.
Oh, okay. So what you said to the voters is not real. Doesn't count. No, sir, what I'm saying is
that as an office holder, my office is run by my policy. Your sheriff said you wouldn't
prosecute. This guy gets released, kill someone the next day. We start asking about it. You change
your website and take down the statements that say you're going to take into account immigration
consequences when you decide what you are going to charge. It has been public the entire time I've been
in office, sir. I think anybody who's reasonable and has a couple of brain cells knows this district
attorney should be fired. Listen, the worst outcome that shows that you're not doing your job effectively
is when American citizens are killed in a senseless way. Not because there were some scuffle or some
disagreement or these were just regular people going about their day and they got into an argument
and things escalated. No. Someone who's already in the country, who has no business been in the country,
is someone who knows that the authorities are more likely to be sympathetic towards them,
a person who knows that even if he commits a crime, he'll probably get off. And so when he finally
does it, you release him and refuse to prosecute. So he says, hey, I'll continue with my crimes,
and then he murders her. Now you want to do your job. It just doesn't make sense. And she's just one,
of countless names so far that we've had to talk about on the show. Let me show you an example
of that. Take a listen. There are a handful of illegal aliens have already been arrested for
multiple murders so far this year in Fairfax County. That includes Abdul Jallo, an illegal alien
accused of randomly stabbing Stephanie Mentor to death at a Virginia bus stop. Jallo had more
than two dozen prior arrests. DA Descano had dropped multiple of his prior charges and there
was zero cooperation with us whatsoever. Stephanie Minter's mom,
will be testifying about Fairfax County sanctuary policies before this committee this morning,
and Republicans and Democrats see these sanctuary policies very differently.
So it was like the criminal is the victim, you know?
The criminal is the victim.
And that's the way these blue states and these Democrat radical nut job mayors have treated this whole immigration process.
And I think that cities and states are right to enforce their own local.
laws and to ask those to be respected and to let the federal government pursue which jurisdiction.
All right. So here's what your financial advisor won't tell you. By the time the news says buy gold,
it's already too late. Right now, everybody's been waiting, waiting to see what happens with Iran.
I mean, the president's over there in China right now. And according to the reports,
China may get with the program regarding Iran. We'll see what happens there. But did you hear what I
just said? We'll see what happens. But gold is not seeing what happens.
next, it's not even waiting for you. It moves faster than you can react. So why wait when you can
prepare? Right? Well, how do you prepare? You talk to the experts at Noble Gold Investments

AOC, although it sounds good. I mean, it is a constitutional republic. I mean, cities and states
have their own laws, no doubt about it. But the first responsibility of any elected representative
at any level is what? Public safety. So in that regard, they have utterly failed. Okay,
let's go to this final clip. This is Brandon Gill, really, and probably the most
profound way exposing this district attorney as the dangerous person that he truly is. Take a look at this.
I want to better understand how you weigh an illegal aliens immigration status whenever you're
making charging decisions. Do you know who under Jose Cortez is? Are you familiar with that case?
Yes, sir. Okay. This is a Guatemalan illegal alien who was arrested in March of 2024.
he was initially charged with, quote,
carnal knowledge of a 13 to 14-year-old.
Just for those of us who aren't lawyers,
can you describe just very briefly,
what does carnal knowledge of a 13-to-14-year-old mean in this context?
Well, sir, generally, a charge like that
would typically refer to underage sex.
Okay, so we raped an underage person,
an illegal alien who raped an underage American.
Your office reduced those charges to a misdemeanor,
of consensual sex with a child, 15 years and older.
You offered him a 90-day suspended jail sentence.
Is that correct?
Sir, based on the evidence that we have in the case?
So it is correct.
What else do you need to hear?
A political party who won't even take care of children in our country.
Now, we know how they feel about abortion,
and we know how they feel about child sex trafficking.
So I guess this isn't a shocker.
So, yeah, I think I've heard enough, and I think you guys know what the bottom line here is on this particular update, continuing to expose people who support Sanctuary City policies.
Let's go to our next update.
Now we're going from Virginia to Illinois, particularly Cook County.
A new report has come out and has truly shown how, again, these policies that Democrats are pushing are dangerous.
And this is in regards to the electric monitoring ankle system that has failed.
in Cook County. Take a look. One in 12 accused criminals on electronic monitoring in Cook County
are missing. Those monitors run by the chief judge's office keep them out of jail until their
trial. Now that office admits it has no idea where all those people are. Our Sabrina Franza is
always investigating. She's been tracking electronic monitoring issues for months now and you
join us with this update where these people are. We're tracking the program. The chief judge is tracking
the program, but now we have these numbers. Turns out 8% of the people on the county's
electronic monitoring program are unaccounted for.
This matters because as we've been reporting,
warrants are issued for these people's arrests because they're trying to evade justice.
The man accused of shooting and killing Chicago police officer John Bartholomew
was one of those people before he was taken into custody and charged with murder.
Charged with murder.
So let's take a step back and go through it again.
A person gets arrested.
a legal migrant or an American citizen.
They not only get arrested, and I'm not talking about for jaywalking,
they get arrested for a violent crime.
They get booked into the jail, and then the judge says,
well, because you're not rich, we got to let you lose.
We don't want you to stay in the jail.
It's not fair.
So let me give you an ankle monitor, and we'll be able to track your movements.
And then you go AWOL, and then what?
You commit a murder.
Now, you tell me, as I just described this to you, is that a system that works?
Let's dive a little deeper on here, or dive a little deeper into this and see the numbers.
Take a look.
The report says there are 3,04 people on the program in Cook County.
It means that around 244 people with pending criminal cases, most likely felony charges,
are not complying with the rules.
A Cook County Chief Judge Charles Beach the second saying today,
the public has a right to know how this program operates.
operates what the data shows and what we are doing every day to make it stronger.
The office responded to requests for data this after the April 25th fatal shooting of Chicago police
officer John Bartholomew and the wounding of his partner as they were guarding a prisoner
at Swedish hospital. Prosecutors alleged that Alfonso Talley, a felon with four pending
felony cases who escaped electronic monitoring in April, shot those officers. And at that time,
the Cook County State's attorney blasting the program.
Electronic monitoring system is broken.
It does not work.
So Judge Beach has redefined a major violation in the program as an unapproved absence of three hours or more.
That's down from the previous threshold, which was 48 hours.
And his office is saying just 4% of program participants were considered AWOL when the new protocols took effect back on January 28th.
But he did note that that definition of AWOL was a lot more lenient back then.
Cheryl. So let me get this straight. The definition of AWOL back then was more lenient than it is today.
But the rate today, as far as AWOL is concerned, is doubled. So it was 4% back then. Now it's 8%.
This is a total disaster. And then when you start to think about it, why is this not working? And why,
why am I even framing it this way in case you're wondering? Well, let me just ask you a question.
if one out of every 12 criminals who are released back into the street, especially ones who have
violent offenses on their record already, commits a murder, doesn't that mean the system is failing?
Isn't that the worst outcome possible is a murder?
Not a robbery, not a white-collar crime, a murder.
So yeah, that's why I say the system is failing.
I don't even get it.
If you have committed a violent crime, you can't get back into the community until you,
your case is over with. It makes sense to me. But if you're wondering why this is happening,
all you have to do is listen to the chief judge out of Cook County say this.
A previous judge, Tim Evans claimed there's no real way for the chief judge to police violations
of electronic monitoring. But Beach did not comment on any of that today in his speech.
He did say that there would be three pillars of his leadership, justice, fairness and kindness
toward others, and he says all judges will follow suit.
Fairness.
Stoic fairness is the rejection of bias and the commitment to treat every individual with dignity.
It means what Judge O'Connell practice.
The facts in the law drive the case, not favoritism or prejudice.
We must be relentless in seeking out and dismantling any barriers, visible or invisible, that impede equal treatment in armed.
Now you know exactly what he means by that.
He wants to be more empathetic towards the criminals.
He wants to understand them.
He wants to walk side by side with them.
I know I'm exaggerating a little bit, but that's how it comes off.
I mean, who knew we needed to have more dignity and more understanding for the criminals than we do for the victims?
Isn't it an interesting when they get in front of the camera and these judges have to make a statement,
it's all about the criminals.
They have nothing to say about the victims.
It's almost as if their voices don't matter.
I don't get it.
Once you reach the court system, that's it.
Meaning what?
The court system is not going to fix what's broken in this criminal.
The court system has to uphold the laws and keep people safe.
If we want to prevent people from being this broken to the point their community
murderers, we got to look inside our own communities to do that.
This is the same system that was ignored by Lawrence Reed, a career violent criminal with 72 arrests.
His ankle monitor showed that he'd been out all night twice and was violating his curfew on November 17th of last year when police say he boarded Chicago's Eltrane and set a complete stranger, Bethany McGee on fire.
This is the same ankle monitor system that was ignored by 26-year-old Alfonso Talley.
Record show he'd been in trouble for all of his adult life.
He disregarded his curfew to the point that he didn't get home to charge the battery and the ankle monitor went dead.
Police say on April 25th, he went on a crime spree that ended with a mother of three,
pistol whip with a broken nose, one police officer dead, another fighting for his life.
3,048 people were released pre-trial on electronic monitoring.
Almost 20% of them are charged with violent crimes.
7% aggravated battery, 4% criminal sexual assault.
0.8% charged with murder, and 246 of them cannot be found.
not only are they missing they have no idea
they have no idea of the state of little
they have no idea where it needs a individual body
so think about that
it's not like they could just go out and start looking for them
but they have no flu
the system alerts on a low battery or curfew violation
after 48 hours a judge can be notified and that judge can issue an arrest warrant
but any sheriff's deputy will tell you there are thousands of warrants in the system
without an alert on a specific individual, they get lost in the pile.
So in other words, it doesn't work.
So what would be the solution here?
It's very simple.
A zero-tolerance system.
If you are arrested because it is alleged that you have committed a violent act against someone,
you are not going to see the light of day back into the community until your case is heard.
I think that is fair.
To release these people back into the community and expect people to monitor them when we know the
technology is not really up to snuff is an unreasonable expectation and a fatal one might I add.
I don't, why don't you guys let me know what you think about this? It's just, it's crazy to me.
These are the little things that I believe we can fix. But give me your thoughts about Cook County
and this report showing that this system is not working. It's leading to fatal outcomes.
And what did you make up the testimony of that district attorney out of Fairfax County?
Who has blood on his hands, clearly? Just give me your thoughts. Everything got in the comments section
