Starting point is 00:02:30 Garethrennolds. Love you, dollheads. Welcome to the pastimes. It's a podcast. Someone's finally doing it. You know what we do here. Each week we go through a newspaper from a random date in history, picked out by none other than Dave Anthony.
Starting point is 00:02:44 I, Gareth Reynolds, have never seen it, and neither has this week's guest. Great, Mike, Racine. Mike, thank you for being here. It's great to be here. having me. We were saying before we started how you just are so fucking funny online, which is really not something I think either one of us would say about a lot of people. No, we wouldn't. We certainly wouldn't say it public. We'd say it before we started and then not do it during this part because we'd be like, we don't want to be associated with this person's brand. But you are so
Starting point is 00:03:13 fucking funny, man. I mean, yeah, I do think I did everything a little late though. Because I, what do you mean? I did, I started Twitter late. and then I did video late. Like I feel like I missed every window. Like it takes so long to get good at stuff. And then I never adapted, you know? I don't know. But all right.
Starting point is 00:03:34 This is what I was, listen, you're not wrong. I feel that too. I think a lot of us do. But would you rather be fucking hysterical or super annoying? And you're not annoying. You've played it. You're on the right side of history when it comes to this because you've been fucking hysterical.
Starting point is 00:03:52 And you know what, Mike, it's all ending. So it doesn't really matter anymore. But now we're supposed to be doing little front-facing videos. Like now that's the thing. Yeah, but it all leads to showing our asshole. They're slowly going to be like, and now you've got to do butt-faced and hole. And we're going to be like, yeah, I'm ahead of this trend.
Starting point is 00:04:12 I started showing my assholes. I started showing my assholes. Yeah, it was really a bad idea. It was the first thing I did. It's not been good. But so where can people follow you, Mike, and find out about your stuff? and then let's talk about this kid's book that you've been asked to not sell on school properties. Okay, so I'm on Instagram, Mike Racine Comedy, and then I have a podcast, a weekly podcast called Racine Time.
Starting point is 00:04:31 It's just like a little solo show that I do. That's on YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts. And then, yeah, I started, well, I just, you know, I need money. So I'm hoping there's a lot of, so I feel like there's money. I feel like there's money in books, you know. Such a great. This is the best start to a book pitch I've ever heard. I just really.
Starting point is 00:04:52 So I need money real bad. Every day I wake up in a bad, you know, in a terrible mood. Yeah, I've been. So I'm like, how do I make some money fast, you know? That's what I was thinking. A quick cash grab. Yeah, no, but I have a five-year-old. So my five-year-old really likes, like, scary stories.
Starting point is 00:05:11 And then my, his friend, his best friend likes scary stuff too. So I was like, oh, okay. And so I wrote like one scary story. And then I read some Shirley Jackson. And I said, I could, you know, I could do this. I mean, she's good. She's very good. No disrespect.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Sure. I'm not going to come on here in disrespect. Yeah. Go ahead. I'm not going to come on her and disrespect Shirley Jackson on your show. You have a little. You've soft disrespect her, but go ahead. Yeah, but I said, oh, I could do that because all her stories are about, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:39 they're pretty like, they're not like monsters or ghosts or anything. It's just like normal stuff, like people getting kidnapped or whatever, you know. Right. Yeah. Like stuff that could happen to you. And that's like kind of unsettling. Yeah. It's unsettling.
Starting point is 00:05:51 You want to scare people. Yeah. Because are you guys like, are you guys afraid of ghosts? I'm not afraid of ghosts at all. Well, the fuck isn't afraid of ghosts. You don't know what that they can do. That's who. Yeah, I wouldn't say I'm actively afraid of ghosts.
Starting point is 00:06:05 I mean, you know, I guess I don't worry about them, but if I see a ghost, I'm not going to be like, hey, man, what's up? I would be intrigued. Really? I would open a line of dialogue. I just feel like you see a ghost. You're like, I get it. Do you, you know, do your thing? I'm not here to encroach on your territory.
Starting point is 00:06:20 That's what I would do. Right? I'm not trying to kick you out. I would offer the body. I'd be like if you want to hop in and get some unfinished business done, let's fucking go. I'm grabbing a flamethrower and just trying to. Crazy decision. Crazy decision. Is your answer to everything just showing your asshole to the?
Starting point is 00:06:38 Yeah. Yeah. Thinking that's how the ghost is like, no, no, I can just jump into any part. Get in there. No, I don't know. Yeah, I think you want to see my asshole. Take over Dick Furr. I don't think this is about your dead wife and your unfinished business.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I think you want to see my asshole. Whatever. Look, we solve it. We don't solve it. What do you think? Yeah. Will you follow me? Well, Mike, I'll tell you, when I talk to you, we both feel like we're talking to a child's author.
Starting point is 00:07:12 So that feels good. Thanks. Thanks. Well, we're going to go, so people should follow you. And also, if anyone out, like we have published our own book before. We did it with an actual publisher. So if anyone out there's listening and wants to help you get your kids book out there, they can just get in touch with you.
Starting point is 00:07:29 It's about turtles fucking. Right? What's that? It's about turtles fucking. Your book? No, yours. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I could put that in.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Sure. That's the title of my book, by the way. It's a kid's book, so I have to imply it, you know? Strong implications. I can't come right out and say it, but I have to imply. the turtles fucked. Yeah. The parents,
Starting point is 00:07:55 the parents reading going, what the heck? I didn't say they fucked. The kids are oblivious. Yeah. I implied it. So people could get in touch with you there. Now,
Starting point is 00:08:06 unfortunately, Mike, there is a premise to this show. Otherwise, we can sit around bullshitting. But we're going to go through an old newspaper. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:14 We're going to start as we start every episode with a guess of what year this paper is from. You'll go first. I'll go second. There's, no context, just a random guess.
Starting point is 00:08:23 It's probably going to be 1800s or 1900s. This is just something the fans love. So go ahead. By the way, I should point out, I've never heard from the fans on this part of the show. I just feel like they should love it. There's no clues or anything? No.
Starting point is 00:08:38 No, just a random guess. Give me a clue. Fuck it. Give my headline. Let's go. The first story is shower of eggs greets trolley. Shower of eggs greets trolley. That could be a lot of times.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Yeah, I'll say 1914. It's a good guess. It's a great guess. I'll say 1928. You're wrong. It's, yeah, Mike wins. 1924. It feels like, okay, I won.
Starting point is 00:09:05 You went over. Yeah, the rules of this have been pretty fluid. No, pretty always the same, and Mike's the winner. I think, speaking of Mike winning, you might want to lift your mic a little higher maybe. Just so we can all hear the gold that's pouring out of you. It is the Atlantic City Gazette. review Tuesday, June 24th, 1924. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Most beautiful city on Earth, Atlantic City. Gorgeous. Shower bags greets trolley. Fragrant henfruit, hurled by rowdies. That's a new... You like that? I had a new way to order eggs. You're like a hen fruit?
Starting point is 00:09:41 Smoking in a diner. I'd like some scrambled hen fruit. Herald by rowdies at trolley cars at Maryland and Atlantic Avenue's late yesterday afternoon, cause superintendent to A.J. Purrington of the Atlantic City and Shore Railroad Company to issue a statement condemning such practice. I haven't farmed that
Starting point is 00:10:01 eggs and bricks, but they left out the bricks. Who leaves out the fucking bricks? Wall vegetables. Wow. Eggs first. Six dead. I mean, the headline should be like six dead for brick attack. But then it said,
Starting point is 00:10:20 Charlie, hit with. hen fruit. Welcome to the glass half-full times. I haven't informed that eggs and bricks were thrown at one of our summer cars and wish to say that we are endeavoring to give the public service in the daytime
Starting point is 00:10:37 only at considerable expense and such a risk to property and that such practice caters only to rowdyism. Wow. That is, Atlantic City's awesome. It's always been awesome. It's a city on a hill. It's not a city on a hill.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Sure it is. It's quite possibly the worst city in America. It's not true. Yes, it is. Yeah, well, either way, I'm all, I'm pro-trolley terrorism. Yeah, eggs and bricks is very funny. Like, were there two different groups of kids or? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:11 You guys get the bricks. We'll get the eggs. Someone just like throwing eggs like, this is hilarious. And a guy's got Briggs like, fuck this city. Oh, Jesus. Bryce, this guy's hot. This guy's coming. and real fucking spicy.
Starting point is 00:11:25 It was like a group of kids. It was like a group of kids and like their one adult friend who bought the product of bricks. By the way, this could be a kid's book. Yeah. The one adult. I'll show you how it's done. Eggs ain't going to change the city.
Starting point is 00:11:41 What are you doing? Fuck this guy. Let's kill him. We're taking down the transportation system, guys. Let's eat this guy when we kill him. Christ. I am told there were police on the car at the time, but that they made no move to stop the mob activity. Well, that's, yeah, they're cops.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Cops. Yeah. They were like, where's a black guy? No, I'm like, fuck me. We'll just wait it out. I am not criticizing anyone at City Hall. Oh, he called it the City Hall. I'm not criticizing anyone at the City Hall.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Sure. We have enjoyed full cooperation from that source and believe action will be taken to avoid violence and trouble. We are doing everything to keep the cars and passengers safe. Wait, who's saying this? This is the guy who runs the railroad. He's like, we won't have any violence after being... We're doing everything to avoid it. Well, too late.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Well, how are you going to avoid it? It's just a slow thing going by. He can't... Bricks, yeah. If you want to throw bricks or... Yeah, if you're in a trolley that's like taking bullets, you're like, pretty sure this ends poorly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Very few options as far as getaways go here. Ring, gring! We're doing everything to keep the cars and passengers safe and seek only the peaceful patronage of the public. Well, what's you going to say? I'm pro trolley crime. Mike? I guess I was like,
Starting point is 00:13:04 before. Last time on a trolley, Mike? What's that? I don't know if I've ever been on one. It's kind of a, it's a bummer. That tracks. Pardon the pun. That does track. Have you? I've been on a couple of trolleys.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Yeah. Where? Yeah. Oh, it's like San Francisco. I've been on the trolley. some random like sometimes you'll do stand-up in a random city and so it'll be like take the trolley down that and you're like whatever and you're just on the trolley hung over like this is hell but i've definitely done trial i'm more trolley than train i'd rather really yeah give me the slow
Starting point is 00:13:36 slow cute so it was 1924 so it was before when you would go out and like with a camera and like ask women their body count that's what that's what bad This is back when you'd run a trolley on a woman. No, that is so, fuck, fuck. That culture ruined the ability to go out like after shows and walk down like a popular street. Now you're just like, we live in absolute hell. Yeah, we really do. Just some guy like, and what are you out drinking tonight?
Starting point is 00:14:11 You're like, I'm in entertainment and I feel bad. Yeah. Arrested. A Chicago woman, 50 years old, notorious. pick pocket. Good. Arrested for the 232nd time. Wow.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Is that too many? I don't think she's a good pickpocket. No, she's bad at it. At that point, I believe you're being caught way too much. Yeah. Some guys like, that was my wallet. No, she's terrible at it. Yeah. She had been in 12 penetries in 62 jails.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Holy shit. And has paid fines totaling more than $25,000. Which back then was fucking... That's insane. That's everything. Wow. There was a time when she was an innocent little girl with no thought of breaking the law. I don't think we need the, like, hearkening.
Starting point is 00:15:03 She used to be a child. She once was pure. Crime is 90%. Oh, sorry. Crime, there's a bad place, period. Crime is 90% environment and association, not more than 10% natural inclination. That is a super fucking weird thing for anyone writing an article to put in. Well, they're saying...
Starting point is 00:15:26 Like the nature, nurture breakdown numbers for him. Right, right. Women are not inclined to crime. Trust me, I'm some dipshit in 1924. I'm a guy. I got a paper. I'm a guy. It's 90% probably.
Starting point is 00:15:39 With a typewriter. Speed. Hell yeah. Like the guy in the YouTuber. What's this? Speed, the YouTuber. I don't know. You know about speed?
Starting point is 00:15:54 No. Speed's black dude. A little bit, yeah. My kid knows about speed, but speed is black. I hear speed, I think good drugs. Young black guy goes all around the world, like just kind of introducing people of stuff now. But went to the World Cup, was invited, and then the Argentinian fans all yelled racist shit at him. Oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:16:15 It's gone real good over here. Because it's a great country. through a little hen food. Argentina's like, we can be more racist than America in America. Watch this. Do you live in New York now, Mike? Yeah. Were you getting into the World Cup at all?
Starting point is 00:16:32 No, not really. I watched, my wife had a guy that she wanted to set me up with as like a friend because I don't really have any friends. And he told me that he was going to set up his projector and watch the Argentina game in an Argentinian neighborhood. Uh-oh. Did you go? Interesting.
Starting point is 00:16:50 But what's that? No, I didn't go. No. No, no, no. Your wife's trying to set you up on dates? She's trying to, yeah, she goes, I want, she goes, has that ever happened to you? Like, somebody goes like, oh, I want you to be friends with this guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Oh, yeah. And then you meet him. I actually had years ago one set up for World Cup, too. And it was like, me and the guy were, like, meeting up for games. And I was like, I don't know if this is, I don't know if you're right for me. Right, right, right. Right. Yeah, what do you do?
Starting point is 00:17:17 How do you break it off with the new guy? It's just like anything. You just stop calling. Yeah, you ghost. You ghost. Yeah, you ghost. Wrong kind of ghost thing. Yeah, I've seen a ghost.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Are we going to the game today? You just don't answer? No, you just kind of go like, I can't. Yeah. I don't know the Argentina. That's like the bad Latin American country. Yeah, a lot of Latin American. A lot of Latin Americans do not.
Starting point is 00:17:47 not like, and South Americans do not like Argentina at all. They're, apparently they're more racist and they think they're better than others. Okay. They're pretty, they're pretty European down there. If you can imagine what Europeans are like. I'm pretty European down there. Who does that mean? Uncut, maybe.
Starting point is 00:18:06 What? Hood on. It's all upset. Oh, nice. I'm not. I just want to point out, I am circumcised. Yeah, I am. But I've, my family's very English and I,
Starting point is 00:18:17 So when you go over there with the cut one and, you know, if you're fucking changing or something, people are like, whoa. Do they make you take your dick out and they look at it? I show them and they don't make me. Or you can go over to England and just go into a bathroom and take it out and then just guys will come into pay to look at it. Just go ahead and get to them this article maybe. Because our boys are uncut. Our boys are uncut. And the doctor said there's a little bit of redness around.
Starting point is 00:18:45 He said it's time to start cleaning it. I said, damn it. I thought that was a myth. It's like the vaccine for penises. Yeah, exactly. They should have gotten it? A guy on YouTube said it was fine. You can't just stay dirty.
Starting point is 00:19:08 There's some redness, so you've got to stick. Oh, I'm not prepared to clean their penis. I'm going to wash my dick. Shit. It's never too late. You can go back. You can always... How old are they?
Starting point is 00:19:19 Five and one. Let's cut it. Take the one in now. Make a move now. Yeah, cut that, cut it. I would cut it right in the middle. Yeah, I would too. I really don't know.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I mean, yeah, okay. No, no, I... No, we'll do this for the bonus content. Yeah, we'll just pay... If you guys want to hear about these penises. We put this on Patreon. This is Patreon. I'll talk about my son's penises on Patreon.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Mike's doing a whole penis thing on our Patreon monthly. If you guys want to join that. It's totally, you shouldn't do it. It's like pointless. What is it? Cut in the, cut it. Cut it. Really?
Starting point is 00:19:55 Yeah, give it a cut. It's totally pointless. Come on. What does come on mean? Ah, look, you throw a porn on or you're more or less in if it's uncut. I'm more out if it's uncut. Out of what? Come on.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Read the next. Is there a situation where you're getting it, you're coming into contact with penises and you're not into it. Come on. Let's go. Keep moving. Speed. A New York banker warns workers to increase production and do away with unnecessary
Starting point is 00:20:27 restrictions if the present high wages and high standards of living are to be maintained. So they got to work in worse conditions is what he's saying. Yeah, I don't follow. Okay. It is an old story, but true, the standard of living can be no higher than the sum of total production. Wow. We can't use more than we produce any more than we can eat more eggs than the chickens
Starting point is 00:20:53 lay. Now, are we calling them eggs? Because hen fruit was pretty fucking good in my opinion as far as just the... Yeah, where did that go? What happened to that? Yeah, I don't know why we moved away from that one. Yeah, no, henfruit. Way better.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Henfruit's the way to go. Henfruit's the move. And I also call nectarines tree eggs. How about that? I'm fucking crazy. You're an idiot. Shut up. Is that okay?
Starting point is 00:21:15 Thank you. Thank you. Mike just gives you. Okay, but I think you're a moron. I don't care what you think. Well, that was a boring story. Yep. This is an editorial comment.
Starting point is 00:21:25 The drunken motorist. Back when men were men. Back when men used to drive drunk. In common with its sister states, New Jersey has its troubles with the drunken automobileist. But if a request of Motor Commissioner William Dill to Attorney General Kessenbach is complied with, The immunity from punishment, which many intoxicated drivers have enjoyed after conviction, before a magistrate, will be greatly lessened and a menace of the highway reduce. So you could drive drunk, you'd get arrested, but then the judge would be like, come on, you're fine.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Yeah, I think so. It's awesome. Yeah, they were immune from punishment. So the judge is just like, ah, come on, Tommy. I said, stop doing this. Deweyes used to be fine until Timberlake got one. then it was like dude my buddy
Starting point is 00:22:17 in high school Paul his dad would get shit faced get in his car the cops would see him they'd go there he is they'd pull him over
Starting point is 00:22:26 and drive him home it's fucking so before Uber that's an Uber now we call that an Uber my yeah my brother had it once where they pulled him over
Starting point is 00:22:35 and they were just like we're gonna follow you drive just go straight home and he's like we're gonna watch it just don't hate anybody they can't
Starting point is 00:22:42 they can't do that anymore no now you got to get the app where you blow into start your car. Flintstone's a big drunk driver, right? Mike lives to drive drunk. Yeah, once in a while. You guys have been reading my...
Starting point is 00:22:55 You guys have been reading my post, I guess. Yeah, you only drink to drive, it says on there. Yeah. Yeah. Mr. Dill complains that municipal attorneys will often not take the trouble to oppose appeals of motorists to the higher court from convictions. and in consequence the ex parte arguments by attorneys blah blah la la la so they're getting their sentences reversed okay and he wants an assistant attorney to be specially assigned to combat these appeals
Starting point is 00:23:29 I mean it's exciting yeah it's exciting they want to crack down on drunk drivers more I mean I'm pro there is that video I don't know if you've seen this mic where it's like there's decide you can't open beers in your car when driving back from work in like the 80s and people are like, this is fucking commune. This is this. You're not allowed to do this.
Starting point is 00:23:52 This is horrible. And by the way, as everything falls apart, I do believe you should be, I'm not saying you should be allowed to drive drunk, but I do think from work to home you should be allowed to have one open cocktail. That's right.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Yeah. If you're not drunk, then you, if you can't get drunk off one drink, then you should, should be able to like everything there should be tiered licenses you should be allowed to go to the DMV and take a drunk driving and get a drunk driving license if you've if you've been convicted of drunk driving you should have a different license and if you've never been you should be able
Starting point is 00:24:30 to drink and drive until you're caught drinking no I don't agree for every year you go for every year you go without an accident you should be able to have like one beer in your yes yes that's it 15 years I don't know. The laws are the laws. They're just that crazy system for what are we going to do? The game, not the player. Yeah. You see some guy just...
Starting point is 00:24:55 Had the game not a player, am I right? You see some guy just weaving all over the road. That guy must be a great driver. That guy's a hell. That guys are lucky. What a streak. Woo! Wee.
Starting point is 00:25:06 The pastimes is brought to by Cash App. We enjoy Cash App. We are in the business. were known as cash appers. And here's something else. For all the parents out there, like myself. And me. No, for all the parents out there with teenagers,
Starting point is 00:25:22 we know. Yeah, I got two teenagers. Jose is no longer a teenager. That guy's like in his 40s. I'm talking about the actual boys. For all the parents out there with teenagers, we know you're already trying to keep a million different things under control. Cash app is here to help make sure your teen's money
Starting point is 00:25:39 and their spending isn't adding to that craziness. So they got parental oversights, no hidden fees. War relics are found in seller. Okay. This is going to lead to Nazis.
Starting point is 00:28:58 100% either about to hear about a Nazi or a Bush. Finding German war relics. Yeah, what I tell you. This is pre-Nazi, though. But this is from the 20s, right? Yeah. Yeah, but still, they were. They were cooking.
Starting point is 00:29:10 They were cooking. They're like, a cool new design. No one's ever seen before. Yeah, exactly. Looks like an X with lines. Yeah. It's kind of like an off-kilta X, something I've been playing with. What are these arm straps?
Starting point is 00:29:23 I don't know. What are you saying? Could be fun. Finding German war relics at this late date is quite unusual. Imagine a time when finding German war relics was like rare. Wow, this is all. Yet it happened here. The All Wars Memorial Home was called frantically on the telephone by Albert Warner of 16 South Congress Avenue on Sunday afternoon to have someone come to his home and take charge of German hand grenades and shells.
Starting point is 00:29:54 What the fuck? Which have been discovered by family in a garage attached to the house. Hoarders, Nazis. Wait. Did you hear what he called? Yeah, he called the All Wars Memorial Home. He called it. Self-report.
Starting point is 00:30:11 He called an old folks home for veterans. And he's like, could someone come home? I can't get rid of these grenades. And he just has a fucking museum in his house. I've been waiting to tell someone. Sir, these are active grenades. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:25 You want to give me to the old people who don't know what they're doing anymore? That guy's got dementia, right? Yeah. Give him a grenade. All right. Michael Rush, Luis, and Zicki and William Cox,
Starting point is 00:30:40 who happened to be in the home at the time, responded to the call. They found a German hand grenade, one pound ranging shell, a German helmet, belt with the Bavarian Army buckle. By the way, uncircumcised, I always call a German helmet,
Starting point is 00:30:55 just so you know. Lock off. Yeah. You could take that to the doctor if you want. I need to get his German helmet taken off. He's getting a little red around the collar. Lockoff German field peace, spirit level from a gas gun and a collection of German military universe.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Jesus fucking Christ, this got a lot of shit. This might be where Nazis started. This is like the wet market. So, yeah, so a soldier must have been in World War I and he just took a bunch of shit. Right. But were they not, were they not, they weren't Nazis in World War I? Forgive me, they weren't. They were just fucking ready to go.
Starting point is 00:31:34 They were just psychotic Germans. Okay. because fascism wasn't officially a thing yet that's musilini started it right right shout it to the goat uh the best the men placed the shell and the hand grenade in water that'll do it so he called the right people just senior citizens showed up and put the grenades in water we're like finally that's okay this is how we do it are you guys know you're doing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, you soak a grenade. Water gets rid of most problems.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Then afterwards, open them and extracted the explosive. What the fuck? Now what just happened. You can open a grenade? I guess. I don't want to be around. How do you open a grenade? I don't know. I've seen the old fashion way. You just toss them. I mean, these are old grenades. I don't know if they're the pin kind or if you just light it and throw it. That's not a grenade in my, that's a bomb. In my opinion. opinion. I'm old fashioned. Right. Right. The big, the big black, the big brown black thing. Yeah, the big brown black one. I think that's a World War I. Those are the like Acme bombs. Like a shot put. Yeah. But that's not the same. It is to me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:53 When they came up with the real grenade, those guys must have been like, whoa. What the fuck? What? That's crazy. The Germans, when they were showing off shit in World War II, the other psychos must have just been like, what? Whoa. That's. fucking sick, dude. The whole collection was then brought to the veterans home. It is believed that some American soldiers left these souvenirs, but the family occupying... So this is before PTSD was discovered. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:22 So you just go to like a veteran's home, be like, here's a bunch of stuff that caused your trauma. Hey, Greg, don't open that shoe box. There's a lot of nightmares in there for you specifically. Oh, no. The family Family occupying their premises dared not touch them for fear of explosion.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Yeah, I mean, that's how you should treat a hangar-dain. Crazy to bring that to a veteran. You should be scared of a hang-renade. And by the way, people who are listening are like, what's a veteran's home? That used to be a place where we would take care of those who served and we got rid of those. Yeah, pre-street. Yeah. Now it's like, hey, what about under this overpass?
Starting point is 00:33:56 Yeah. No, that now we just sort of, you know, who knows? I'm going to look up when the... Are you a history buff when it comes to the wars, Mike? I guess a little bit, but I'm not like, I don't, yeah, I don't know a ton about, I don't know a ton about wars. Favorite war? Favorite future war? Um, I guess I'll go.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Favorite past? Yeah, I guess I'll, I guess I'll go like maybe this. I've been learning a little bit about the Soviet front of World War II. I know that's kind of a generic answer, but actually when I was, when I was a, when I was 15, I almost became a civil war reenactor. I like went to like an AOL. Which side? I went to like, I forget. Wait, so when it was like an AOL civil war meetup?
Starting point is 00:34:49 Yeah, I went to like an AOL chat room and like met this guy and I was like, I want to be a Civil War reenactor. And he was like, okay, I can help you. And then I hear you help you. I was going to join his unit. And then he referred to a different unit. And I almost see the hinge moment that was for you. So what does. swayed you from following through?
Starting point is 00:35:11 I guess I just don't ever follow through with anything. I just... Like I went to this... My parents took me to their, like, Christmas party of the unit's Christmas party. And there was a meeting about food and stuff and how much we want to pay for food. And I just never followed up with it. And I guess I didn't have the money. I didn't have musket money at that time.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Because my dad wanted me to learn. golf and I was like, well, but a musket is the same price as golf clubs. He's like, I'm a little concerned about Mike, to be honest. I offered him golf clubs and he was like, what about a musket? Yeah. That is so fucking funny. And so you met up with some guy and he was like. No, I chatted with some guy on AOL chat.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Boy, that's, yeah. Named Allen. Yeah. And then he referred me to like a different unit. But this isn't, this is why. parents get worried about their kids online. No, like 20 years later, this, 20 years later, this was a Chris handsome thing. Where you show up, he's like, and you told him about the musket you had in your pants.
Starting point is 00:36:20 I wish. We're talking about guns, Chris. That's why I wish, I wish he had met someone who would have molested it, but he signed into a Confederate unit. You're like, son, you're not up there trying to become a Civil War reenactor, are you? I know what happens in those chat rooms. Yeah. It's a slippery slope. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:41 The South isn't the only thing he's going to talk about rising again. I would guess 90% of Civil War reenactors are child molesters. I did for, I had a travel show, and we did take part in a Civil War reenactment. And, man, it was fucking crazy. Yeah. It was, they were, that is a, there's a lot, there's a lot going on there that therapy definitely can't treat. Like, you're kind of like, good for you. Why would you want to?
Starting point is 00:37:10 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, but the fact that they can all like get it done, they all have their command structure and everything.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Yeah. It's like how do you, like adult pretending is fascinating. Fascinating. And then how do you, how do you get to be like Robert E. Lee, you know? Yeah. I guess you have to look like him. Yeah. But you also got to still work your way up the way to your ranks.
Starting point is 00:37:33 It's a whole thing. I imagine you got to kill some of the other guys. I don't know if there's killing. But yeah. It is hilarious. Okay, I'm wrong. The hand grenades look like hand grenades. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:45 The hand grenade we know now, the pin, pull thing, in 1915, it was amended. What's with the pull part? It's what makes it get ready. It's like two-step verification. It's got like the handle down and when you pull the pin, it lifts it up so it'll blow when you release. Okay. Interesting. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:03 Speaking of blowing and I'm releasing. All right. Enough. I think we're ready. All the stuff was much milling. dude and the German name on the helmet could hardly be deciphered. It was a formidable looking mass with potentialities for wrecking the garage. More than the fucking garage.
Starting point is 00:38:21 I do like this. The family were afraid that the hot weather would cause an explosion. Yeah, I agree. This would be an ideal grandpa. This is a perfect grandpa. And you go to the garage and you're like, my grandpa has hand grenades. Yeah. Fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:37 And let's claim by some. owner, the find will become part of the relic exhibit from the World War in the All War's Memorial Home. God. They didn't know how many wars we had left. I mean Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Barely reaching our potential. Another two at least. Yeah. We got the big one and then the one coming soon. They're getting real good. They're starting to get good. The World Wars? This one's going to be real good. It'll be interesting. It's going to be an interesting little
Starting point is 00:39:08 warrior. I didn't check up on the war news today. Well, now that we're juicing our service members with testosterone during, I really don't understand the theory behind, now we basically fight wars without boots on the ground, but we are going to juice the soldiers. I think we're just trying to get the soldiers to fuck each other. Yeah. I do think the end goal is to just tee them up until everyone's just banging each other. We're going to give them lip filler too. When we finally see him It's like, is this the real housewives? These are like jacked housewives.
Starting point is 00:39:42 He had Botox lip filler and testosterone. We will show Iran who's boss. And by the way, I've never been more over a country than Iran. Drama. Acuse officer of being. drunk on duty here. Hell yeah. There's a weird headline.
Starting point is 00:40:06 You don't need here. No. Patrolman Edward Dayton was before Mayor Edward Bader yesterday on a charge of being drunk while on duty on June 1st. Following the hearing, the mayor reserved his decision. What does that mean? He held on to... He's like, I'm not telling. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:25 We'll see. I'm a very dramatic mayor. Dayton was brought to the city hall by streets. searching leak in the patrol wagon and after the charges were preferred was placed in jail for a time and then sent home. Yeah, just, I don't know. Seems like we dealt with like bad conduct in public better. I do think a drunk cop should not be on the job.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I don't agree. Give me drunk cops. Have you seen the video of the guy who, it's out on a street and there's two other cops? and the guy starts filming because the one cop is so... Yeah. He looks like he's on Fendall. I do like what, yeah. The one cop, the cop is so drunk, another cop films him and it's like, you've been drinking
Starting point is 00:41:14 and he's like, I don't remember. And he's so like hammered that he's like a one eye open hammered like kind of thing. You're just like, wow. But it's, I've done, back in the day, like when I used to drink and do stand up, there were times where I was like on stage going, how did this happen? this is too drunk to do a show. Yeah. Like where you'd be like,
Starting point is 00:41:35 oh yeah, yeah. You'd just be standing up there. I did a show once and I was way too drunk to do a show. And thank God the guy who went on after me was way too drunk. And so everyone was like, that was so unprofessional what that guy did. And I was just standing like, yeah, it's crazy. How dare he piss on our art. Dayton stated to the mayor that on the day in question,
Starting point is 00:42:01 and he had a severe cold and had taken a drink of something offered. He did the Tiger Woods. This is the Tiger Woods. You're like, I had an Allegra and one vodka, officer. Offered him by two men claiming to be first word politicians. He said he took the bottle from which he drank was a white rock bottle. He said he only took two swallows. Nope.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Man, this guy seems, I like a white rock bottle. Even Everclear. Right. For the 20s, that's normal, right? Yeah, that's like... I mean, the level of alcohol consumption is... Insane. Yeah, insane.
Starting point is 00:42:41 You couldn't lock away everyone. Like, the drunks had numbers. You couldn't stop... Right, right, right. Start, like, locking people up for alcohol. You were like, what are we going to do? Right. Come after us.
Starting point is 00:42:51 It's everyone... And the problem is now, too many people quit drinking. Huh? Right. Mike gets it. Too many people are like... You still drink, Mike? yeah i do yeah yeah there you go
Starting point is 00:43:03 good don't give that up yeah easy dave's dad was an alcohol get a nice heater going and circumcise your kids easy what that's what i did cigarettes every now and then mike where are we at there yeah oh man i i need i feel like i you know they should sell like packs of five of cigarettes because every few days i need one so bad in england they sell yeah that's the truth yep So keep going, you're right. Because I bought a pack a couple weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:43:33 I was going, you know, I was like, and I just, and then you're like, this is great. But then, you know, you have that whole pack. You just feel so dirty. They sell them in England and tens. Do they? Yeah. That's good. And that was, that used to be very helpful.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Yeah. Back when I smoked very, but Lucy's, Lucy's used to get the job done too, but I don't feel like Lucy's have sort of fallen away. No, they don't really even have them anymore. Yeah. They don't have Lucy's? Not really. Huh. No.
Starting point is 00:44:04 It's a lot. America's collapsing. And you can trace it all back to the Lucy market. It is, yeah. I know. Sometimes you just need like seven cigarettes. Sometimes you have days. That's,
Starting point is 00:44:18 if there was a, if like Marlboro came out with Marlboro Sevens, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But they don't want that. It's like a specific day.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Like you, I'm having a bad day. Yeah. And I need seven cigarettes. Or you're like, I'm going to go golf in and definitely have some, like, seven is the right amount. Cut me off. It's the self-cut off of seven. But they don't want that.
Starting point is 00:44:43 They want you to keep consuming and get more addicted to having more. Yeah. But Mike and I are saying we'd like to meet them halfway and still be involved in their commerce. But we would appreciate a gesture of goodwill towards some of us who prop them up for a long time. Marlboro Sevens. Yeah, Marlboro Sevens. They came out with the fifth, remember the 52s where they sell, they would sell like cigarettes this big. That went up, right before I quit, I was doing that.
Starting point is 00:45:10 I think it was 72s maybe they were called. They were like that big. And I was like, all right, this I can work with. Yeah, that's good. Because it's bigger? No, they were smaller. Oh, it's smaller. They were like half cigarettes.
Starting point is 00:45:21 But. Why'd they call them 72s? It's marketing. I'm not involved in that part of it. Were there more cigarettes in the pack? 70 millimeters? There's seven millimeter cigarette. Yeah, they were a baby cigarette.
Starting point is 00:45:34 They were like the size of a bullet. One, it's just one puff per. So these are for kids. These are for kids. 100%. 100%. 100%. Man, you got me thinking about,
Starting point is 00:45:45 you got me thinking about cigarettes now. I'm like, we're going to get five cigarettes. I need five cigarettes. Not loose you. I'm sorry. Yeah, you want the package. You want to be able to tear that little foil curtain off and be like, showtime, boys.
Starting point is 00:45:58 but then halfway through a pack you're always like what am i doing here and what i'm going to do save these for later towards the end i would give them a i would literally like like find someone outside of a seven eleven i'd be like do you smoke and they'd be like yeah i'd be like please enjoy yourself or if you see like a homeless if you see like a homeless person i'll give them like three cigarettes yeah that's what i would do too yeah it makes you feel like god yeah they'd be like you're awesome me, be like, I have a mental problem. I'm really going through some weird shit. Take four.
Starting point is 00:46:31 Fuck it. I just want a pack of seven. Advice to girls. Dear Annie Laurie, I am a girl of 19. I have no parents and would like your advice. Jesus, the amount of men who are masturbating already. Oh, go to the paper. What do you need, girls?
Starting point is 00:46:54 No parents. I'm in love with a young man six years my senior. Okay. 25. It's not terrible considering the time. No, it's fine. That's fine. He has been married but is getting a divorce.
Starting point is 00:47:09 A lot of guys do that. Yep. This is dark. He has asked me to go out with him. Do you think I'd be doing the right thing if I did? This barely seems like a dilemma. Is there any harm in right? writing a letter to him he always answers them wow i mean what should any girl say when a young man
Starting point is 00:47:32 takes her home is it a prop hell yeah say yes is it a proper is it proper for a young man to ask a girl when he can see her again yeah i mean this is i mean it shows you the yeah she signed it anxious brown eyes wow she's that's no brown eyes yeah no this is this is no parent I just heard brown eye. I just heard crazy eyes. She's like, well, I go to hell if I take a fella out for a soda. Yeah, honestly. It's just, and this guy's married.
Starting point is 00:48:11 He always responds to my letters. He separated. Well, I feel like back then there were a lot of guys who were like, I'm about to move on, I promise. Yeah. I swear, she's not right for me. Let's do it in my car. Then I'll buy us a mansion.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Huh? You want a Lucy? Want a Lucy? Huh? All right. This is the answer. Until this man is free, you should not go out with him. I actually agree.
Starting point is 00:48:35 This is like you. Now I agree, yeah. By accepting his invitations, you are placing yourself in an embarrassing and perhaps dangerous situation. Yep. It will be worse, wise for you to not write him until he is free. Yep. True.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Sorry, it will be wise for you not to write him until he's free. Agreed. Thank the young man and ask him to come see you, You don't need to thank him and ask him to come to feed you? No, if he asks you to come up to his place. Wait, what was the last line? She's answering, what would you say when a young man wants to take you home? She said, thank him and ask him to come see you sometime.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Oh, okay. As far as is it proper for a young man to ask the girl when he can see her again, she says, yes, that's fine. That's fine. That's perfectly acceptable. That's strange advice. And then as far as the anal, she said, get into it. Wait, what? Yeah, she said, the early you start with anal, the better you'll be at it.
Starting point is 00:49:34 David. As you get older. Come on. Well, unfortunately, that guy was riding the trolley that day, and he got hit in the face with an egg, and he was fine, but then he got hit with a brick. And then he wasn't okay. He was startled by the hen fruit, and then a brick went through his brain. That's the old one, two. and tell you get him, you throw the hen fruit and then it's doing the heavy lifting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:58 I don't even know. Do you need one is the question I ask about the one to do. Yes, because I tell you why, you throw the hen fruit, it hits you. Oh. You're not hurt. You're startled and angry. And then you move forward to see what happened. First you startle him, then you kill him.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Then you go with the hen brick. A little bit of egg, then a wall, the wall vegetable. Wall vegetable. Yeah. Someone's like, I have bad news. David was hitting the head. buy an egg today. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Wait, what? Why that order? Wait, let me finish. It gets worse. Then there was a brick that took his brain. Wait, what? I just wanted to tell you the order of how things happened. I thought that was important, but he's dead.
Starting point is 00:50:42 I have to tell the story chronologically. I do believe there's a good build to this, so I think I should honor that at minimum. I'm not Quentin Tarantino over here. Oh, good Lord. Oh, sorry, I can't tell you a story proper. I thought you were creatives. Lord. Halifax is a city I've always wanted to properly explore.
Starting point is 00:51:06 I'm talking about walking the waterfront with a coffee in hand, finding whatever little seafood shack like Evans Fresh Seafoods over in Dartmouth, owned by a local fisherman family doling out, Acadian-style fish and chips. The kind of place the locals actually go to. That's my kind of trip. Here's where it gets practical, though. The second I start planning a trip like that,
Starting point is 00:51:28 I think about my own home, just sitting empty when I'm gone. I could be listing it on Airbnb. Someone gets a real place to stay in in a real part of the city, a charming walkable neighborhood where you could experience the city at a slower pace.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Guests can explore the trails and scenic views of our nearby park, catch the glow of the city at sunset from the local observatory, or spend an afternoon wandering historic avenues, stopping into local shops, cafes, neighborhood favorites along the way. And I end up coming home
Starting point is 00:51:57 with a little something extra to show for it. It's pretty hard to argue with. Honestly, once it clicks, it's hard to unclic. Whether it's a few days away or a couple of weeks, listing your home on Airbnb can help earn you a little extra cash to fund more trips like this. Home might be worth more than you think. Find out how much at Airbnb.ca.com slash host.

Starting point is 00:54:37 I still use it. I still use it today. I used it 10 minutes ago. Just me. That was the very first way we started ticket payments that weren't cash. And it still sticks around. So look, if you're starting a business or running one that deserves better tools. Square helps you sell, manage, and grow without slowing down. Right now, you can get up to
Starting point is 00:54:53 $200 off square hardware at square.com slash go slash dollop. That's SQUA-R-E.com slash geo-slash-dollop. Run your business smarter with Square. Get started today. Cruelty. A Texas cowboy giving a speed demonstration of roping a steer is arrested by the SPCA in Brooklyn on a charge of cruelty to animals. I'm very for this. The technical charge is twisting a steer's neck in a cruel and unusual fashion. But why does ESPN show it on boring Saturdays? Do they? Yeah, they still show, I think they do.
Starting point is 00:55:32 They still show bull riding. Every time I watch bull riding, I'm like, the fuck is this. But it bull riding's not bad. Yes, it is. Why? It's like they're like juicing the bull up and the little... Oh, they do? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Oh, he just doesn't come out mad? No, nobody wants to be ridden like that for. I know some guys that do. All right. You know what? I'm done. What happened? I'm out.
Starting point is 00:55:56 The only reason to watch bull riding is every now and then when like one of those, like the bull rider gets hit or the clown gets fucking. You don't watch it for any other reason than harm. You just absolutely want the humans to have harm done to them. Yeah. You want to see the guy fly off or get trampled under the, yeah. Yes. So they, so they, the guy gets on the bowl and then they zap the bull? There's a whole bad.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Yeah. well that's disappointing i thought bulls were just naturally mad even if they were we shouldn't be on their necks why if something's mad you should get on it right it enough uh a few of these people who have such violent aversion to cruelty to animals are backward about eating a juicy steak that's see they're pointing it out they're doing it's you they're doing it oh you hate well do you eat steak all right let us torture them Jesus Christ expert. Is this a new story?
Starting point is 00:56:50 Yeah. Okay. That was quick. When her husband died... Oh, do we have a picture? Yeah. Oh, wow. I mean, I doubt Mike can see it, but there you go.
Starting point is 00:57:00 Mike, picture every woman from the 20s. They can't really... Okay. That's not going to... Yeah, that's what we're dealing with. With a kind of bonnet situation. No, that's hair. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:57:10 When her husband died three years ago, Miss Nan Cook of Minneapolis, set out to carry on his roofing business. she has made a success of it she knows all about tar and slate and gravel shingles and admits she took up the reins because there
Starting point is 00:57:28 is a son to inherit the business later on what a non-story today but back then the woman controls operation this woman's husband died and she just didn't lay down and do nothing
Starting point is 00:57:44 take everything we've told you about women's brains and throw it in the garbage. This woman was able to replicate a business from a man, and she's doing it for another man. Yes, well, there's a reason she's doing it. There's another man coming. It really shows you the level... She's like a circus exhibit.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Yeah, yeah. They're studying her next to, like, World War I grenades. And next to the grenades, you'll see here, a competent business woman. This was a rare find. And here's the merman, the bearded lady, the heavy lifter, and the businesswoman. Look at them all. And she's like, why am I here? I'm just good with numbers.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Quiet. Spotlight will be on you when it's time to talk. I wanted to see a freak show, but not this much of a freak show. Kathy, why don't you explain how to do roofing? I really don't understand what's so wild. It's just a much of tar and shingles. That's insane. That'll be a dime each, boys.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Now we'd put her out there roofing, but she's so rare. She belongs in this show. Let me out of my cage. No. She's got a bunch of catchphrases like that. It's hilarious. Let me out of the cage. I have a family to raise.
Starting point is 00:59:15 I know what I'm doing. I'm a 501C. Advice to girls. Dear Annie Laurie. Oh, boy. I am a young man 18 years of age. I am a Spaniard and have a very good education. When I was 15 years old, I left home for America.
Starting point is 00:59:34 I boarded with a lady who had a very charming daughter. I fell in love with her at first sight. She seemed to think a great deal of me too. We're all waiting for the age. I am. Yeah, she's got a good. to be 12 or something. He's 15. She's 12. For the age shoe to drop. She's a 10 to 8. I thought at that time I would get over it, but I never have. In fact, I am more deeply in love now
Starting point is 01:00:02 than I was. I have asked her to marry me in a couple of years. That's not good. They're not saying the age. It's very upsetting. She gladly consented to it. She said her parents were very much opposed. This is bad. A lot of red flags. To a foreigner. I asked her to meet me for a civil war. So I tried to get the consent of her parents.
Starting point is 01:00:26 They did not give me a definitive answer. And I am very anxious about the affair. I can't give her up. And she told me that if we were not allowed to marry, she could never marry anyone else. If we cannot get their consent, we will get married secretly. Will we be doing right?
Starting point is 01:00:45 Please advise me about the whole affair. Let her back is how old is she? Yes. How fucking old is she? Her parents are opposed. You know, they're all hung up on that childhood stuff. We'll just have to meet every day for three-hour lunch. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Because he's from Spain. Yeah. Oh, I get it. Followed by siesta. Don't plan to marry secretly. That is not the way you may. make the girl you love happy. Meet me at the police station for some in-person advice.
Starting point is 01:01:20 You cannot marry for a few years anyway. Why don't you try very hard to win the regard of this girl's parents and then their consent to marriage? If you make every effort to do this, you will probably succeed and then everyone will be happy. Don't you see? He's fucking 18. It's amazing.
Starting point is 01:01:37 The woman's ask in the previous letter was like, This man says This man says that he's separated, but I don't know what to do. And then this one's like, hey, I can't meet this kid. The parents are weird. Yeah. Help. Right?
Starting point is 01:01:54 Help me. Says cancer due to vaccination. Here we go. We're back. Comes full circle. And we're back. 95% of consumptive and cancer cases are due to vaccination. Wow. And the use of iodine was the striking statement of
Starting point is 01:02:18 Heinrich Durenger of New York. On the Heinrich Durenger experience. In speaking at the banquet of chiropractors of the East. I'll admit I've had a chiropractor. It feels good. I do think it's probably time to undo them. They're always going out there with potions now. I knew a comedian in in... Yeah, I have a friend as a chiropractor. Yeah. They, some, like, I would say
Starting point is 01:02:47 60% start to believe their doctors. Yeah. I had a friend, a comedian in San Francisco when I was starting out, and she invited all up to her house and it's like on the top of like Knob Hill.
Starting point is 01:02:59 I'm like, what the fuck? How do you have this much money? And she goes, a chiropractor paralyzed my dad. Oh, my God. Oh. Okay. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Interesting. That's. says that's a bad session. They do that though. They do that. In the waiting room? Is he going to be much longer? Yeah, we're just dealing.
Starting point is 01:03:22 Yeah, we're in the middle of figuring out of things. He's what we, medically we call this floppy. He went floppy on me and, uh. Oh, crap. But, oh, but right before it's official paralyization, you're probably like, oh, perfect. Oh, perfect. Oh, it feels so good. The release.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Wow, that was a loud crack. Are you okay? Oh, the release. My algorithm on Instagram for a while for probably about a year was chiropractors just micing their people and just fuck at the level that they're pushing like cracking people. You are like this does end in paralyization at some point.
Starting point is 01:04:00 That's the best one. That last one is like, oh, so good. And what exactly do they do? They just pull on you? They push the gas between your bone and vertebra, which even when you say it is, I mean, that's dicey. It's a lot of spine. There's a lot of spine and neck. A lot of spine and neck, which are two very sensitive areas I've read.
Starting point is 01:04:31 Speaking at the convention at the ambassador, Mr. Durenger is known as the million-dollar chiropractor. If your chiropractor is being like, look, cancer comes from vaccines. That's right. Are you? What? Sure. Trust me. Believe me.
Starting point is 01:04:50 I crack bones. How wouldn't I know that? Trust me. Having made is estimated a million dollars since he began. Mr. Durenger continued to say that vaccination and iodine destroy tissue with the further result that everything around the tissues decayed finally resulting in consumption of cancer. You're listening to the Jimmy Dore show. But the cabinet governor,
Starting point is 01:05:13 J. D.J. Davis of Pennsylvania. I like what my chiropractor has a DJ nickname. I also do bar mitzvah, so whatever you need. So the chiropractors are holding themselves back from obtaining the proper legislation because they cannot agree on a definition of chiropractics. Some, he said, wanted to include the use of electricity and other appliances, while others held out that the hands themselves should constitute the only method of work.
Starting point is 01:05:53 That is, Mike, the whispering your kid is doing right now is amazing. Thanks. It's actually my wife. Oh, is your wife? Sorry. Sorry. I apologize. Don't tell her.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Tell her hi from the shell. Shell shocked patients. may, shoes, shoes. Shell shock patients may be treated either at the ninth dorsal vertebra, the thyroid gland, or the Avis and Atlas, said Dr. Grant. It's getting very specific. They're just making shit up. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:06:31 He explained that shell shock was caused by a sudden cessation of the activities of the body caused by an unexpected noise or happening. Hmm. No. No, that's not what shell shock is. I'm out. I don't know. It's PTSD.
Starting point is 01:06:48 Oh, that's what shell shock is. I got lost. I'll be honest. The chiropractor is in truth, a beauty doctor. That's what I'm saying. And creating good looks with permanent and not temporary results. Dr.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Feldman explained that the releasing of an impingement on the fibers communicating with the seventh cranial or facial nerve restores youthful contour and eradicate reckless. 1920s chiropractic care must have been so, like the amount of, a time they probably had a shoot for bodies or they're like well no i guess you can't crack there i mean that's insane i don't know if that's changed your opinion on chiropractors in any way mike i don't know if i really had what i mean there's a there's a big it seems like there's a big push lately to be like oh they're all just kind of BS but that i think they're BS yeah yeah but whenever a bunch of people say stuff i will always want to say the opposite you know i'm gonna get You're a contrary.
Starting point is 01:07:45 I think that's why you're so good online. Thanks. That is true. A real sweet spot. Well, Mike, thank you for joining us. Appreciate it. Thanks for having me. Remind everyone again where to find your family, who we hear, your comedy, which we love, and your book, which will be coming out soon.

I just, they just came in the, they just came in the house and they all started getting naked. I told their 20 more minutes, please. But now my wife's getting naked, too. Is it, pretty good.
