Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everyone, I'm Dr. Axe, and today we'll be talking about what it would mean if RFK Jr. is confirmed as the HHS Secretary. And I'm going to be going through the top 12 objectives in the plan that RFK Jr. has to make America healthy. Again, I'd love to hear from you as well on if you think RFK Jr. would be a good pick or not as the HHS secretary. There's a lot of propaganda, a lot of rumors flying around about RFK Jr. and he's really a polarizing figure. I'll give you an example. A lot of people believe today that he's completely anti-vaccine. And the thing is, when you look at him, he's never said that.
Starting point is 00:00:37 What he's said is, is that I want more scrutiny, I want a greater microscope. I want more accountability from pharmaceutical companies and more research and long-term studies about vaccines. And just as an example of some of the things that are said about him, I think throughout history, or at least the last 20, 30 years, people have been very skeptical of him. because of his stances on everything from vaccination to fluoridization of the water to climate change. And really, he's been a polarizing figure on both sides, both Democratic and Republican, for many years. But I'm going to go through the top 12 initiatives he has in order to make America healthy again and set the record straight.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Before I get into these top 12 initiatives, make sure to subscribe to the channel and hit the notification bell so you never miss a single episode in the latest breaking news as I'm covering today. So number one here thing to know is around his vaccine policy reform. Kennedy seeks to enforce rigorous safety tests for vaccines, including placebo-controlled long-term studies to ensure they are both safe and effective. and he advocates for the removal of vaccine manufacturers' immunity from liability that was granted under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 to ensure accountability. Did you know today that vaccine manufacturers can damage and injure people with things like Gillian Bray syndrome, autoimmune disease, neurodegenerative illnesses, and even if that person is medically damaged, they can't sue or win off. in most cases against the pharmaceutical manufacturers. Now, the truth is, there have been cases won by people that were damaged by vaccines, and they have had it paid out.
Starting point is 00:02:36 But based on this grant for many years ago, it's much, much harder for these vaccine companies to be held accountable. And so one of the biggest things RFK Jr's looking to do is to enforce accountability. And if there's wrongdoing, that they have to pay. up and again, it's harder to pass things due to the long-term testing. Now, a few other things here. He also wants independent oversight boards, which would be created to eliminate the conflicts of interest with the regulatory bodies like the CDC and the FDA.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Here's why this matters. According to the vaccine adverse event reporting system, adverse events often go underreported and improved oversight could restore public trust and potentially prevent severe reaction. Did you know that the amount of parents today that are vaccinated in their children has gone down tremendously? I mean, the statistics are really surprising in terms of how many parents. And a lot of this was due to COVID. There's a lot of mistrust going through COVID and what the government and the CDC shared. And what happened was a lot of these things weren't true regarding vaccines.
Starting point is 00:03:47 With the COVID vaccine is not a traditional vaccine. It's with the RNA and the way that that was done. It is not traditionally the way that we think about vaccines. But really, there are a lot of lies, a lot of propaganda around this in terms of, well, you can't catch it now or you're protected or you're more protected versus getting it naturally. And we found all of those statistically turned out to be false. And so RFK Jr. really wants to sort of improve our confidence in our governing bodies today.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And so, again, I think the biggest thing he's going to do is look to hold these pharmaceutical companies accountable. and ensure greater long-term studies and safety around vaccines, which I am all for, and I'd love to hear if you're for that as well. Number two, dietary overhaul in our school lunches, okay? He plans to replace highly processed foods and sugary drinks and cafeterias with fresh, organic, and nutrient-dense meal options. I mean, I remember when I was a kid, and if you remember this as well, when you're going to school, I remember, you know, Friday's Pizza Day,
Starting point is 00:04:50 and then it's chicken nuggets and it's, you know, sloppy Joe's. And if you would go and actually look at the ingredients list, and I've done this, of what is in school lunches, you would be so appalled in the amount of sugar, the amount of food dyes, the amount of artificial ingredients, the amount of seed oils. We're talking about one of the most inflammatory things you can ever, basically your kids are eating fast food for lunch,
Starting point is 00:05:15 every single meal. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr. supports mandatory guidelines to drastically reduce added sugar in school meals, as one example. Studies have shown that reducing sugar consumption can improve academic performance and behavior in students. And one of my questions is, why has this not been done yet? Well, I'm excited because Kennedy is going to lead the charge in this. And here's an interesting stat.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Childhood obesity rates in the United States have tripled since 1970, with one in five children now classified as being clinically obese. underscoring the urgency of addressing diet in our schools. We see kids diabetes on the rise, kids autoimmune disease, childhood cancer, childhood autism, childhood ADHD, all of these conditions have continued to rise. And it's not just diagnosis. They've actually continued to rise since the 1970s.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Think about that one in five children are clinically obese. That's not just overweight. That is, it's actually threatening their organ health and their life. Now, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is also a big fan of raw milk. I mean, our government today is actually going to places like Pennsylvania, arresting farmers for selling raw milk. And raw milk has been consumed for probably close to 6,000 years or more. So people have been consuming that since the beginning of time.
Starting point is 00:06:32 And raw milk is much healthier than ultra-pasteurized. When you look at the difference in terms of doing certified organic raw milk from pasture-raised cows, we're talking about more vitamin D, more omega-3 fatty acids, more CLA, more good back. bacteria, more enzymes, just overall a more nutrient dense in quality food. And this is not something that should be banned or outlawed. And this is something that we should all have access to, our kids should have access to. It's much, much healthier. And so this is just an example of one of the things and initiatives where he wants to support people
Starting point is 00:07:09 in the natural health community, the homestead community, and people that are more naturally minded. And generally, this is going to be good for everyone. Number three is opposition to water fluoridation. Kennedy argues that systemic water fluoridation is linked to cognitive and developmental issues in children. He supports replacing fluoridation with localized treatments such as topical fluoride for dental health. And a recent study from the Journal of American Medical Association in the journal pediatric showed a correlation between fluoride exposure during pregnancy and reduced IQ in children reinforcing the need for policy change. And a lot of this has to do with getting back to nature, getting back to
Starting point is 00:07:54 the way God designed us. I mean, I mean, if you go and drink from a spring, okay, fresh spring water, there are not high levels of fluoride and chlorine and other chemicals in there. When you look at our water supply today, it's not only adding fluorine. As I mentioned, it's chlorine. There are a number of chemicals. There was a study that came out recently that went through all of the chemicals that are in our water supply. And they showed over 20 harmful chemicals. Some of the medications like estradiol, which would cause men to have more feminine characteristics.
Starting point is 00:08:24 It would increase breast cancer in women. And so we see a lot of these chemicals in our water supply. In fact, I covered this in a former podcast, and I go through where the worst water is per state and city. And so if you want to do that for yourself, you could go and search Dr. Axe, water or water podcast episode. And I go through tap water and what's in. there today, but he's looking at cleaning up our water supply. He's looking at removing the
Starting point is 00:08:49 fluoride. And if we're doing this for dental health, do it topically. It'll be much more effective versus drinking fluoride. Again, and I just touched on one study here, and at reducing IQ in children, there are many more in terms of the negative effects of fluoride on people. And again, just another example of something that I'm really excited about him doing. Number four is he strongly promotes alternative medical treatments. Now, it's funny, we call them alternative. They should be mainstream in synthetic pharmaceutical drugs should be secondary. And he's very much on board with that. And he strongly suggests early treatment protocols as well for people with viral illnesses. In fact, I would say that of all the people I know, he was the most sound-minded when it came to what should be
Starting point is 00:09:39 done during the COVID-19 pandemic. You know, he was a strong proponent of using vitamin D and zinc and vitamin C, so using vitamins and minerals to help protect people. He was also a strong component of using or at least having doctors have the choice to use drugs such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. And he was citing studies from countries like India and Japan where these treatments showed success during the pandemic. And Kennedy also advocates for integrative therapies, such as
Starting point is 00:10:09 stem cell. Did you know today that there are a lot of regulations around where you can't get the best stem cells in the United States? I'll give an example. When I had my spinal infection and didn't walk for a year, I had a major, major trauma. I wanted to get the best treatment possible so I could walk again and literally help save my life. I couldn't get the treatment here in the United States. I had to fly to Mexico to re-health and they're the top clinic in the world for stem cells. And I had to fly there. And I had a friend, Dr. Dan Papa, Dr. Gary Breka, and others who turned me on to this clinic. And I believe because of it today, I've regained my health almost completely. And I'm able to, everything from Snow Ski to lift weights, to carry my daughter around.
Starting point is 00:10:51 And I don't know if I would have been able to do that without going to re-health the top stem cell clinic in the world and getting these treatments. I couldn't get that here in the United States because they classify your on stem cells. If you multiply them, they classify those as a drug. or a medication. So you can't get the best stem cells in the United States. So people are traveling to Cancun to ReHealth or ReHealth in Cabo or to Panama or other countries or Germany or Switzerland to actually get these treatments today.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And he wants to advocate for making stem cells with their pluripotent from umbilical cord tissue that are then multiplied, which are the highest quality in the world. He wants to make those legal here. And there are so many people today suffering with chronic illnesses that could benefit from stem cell therapy. I mean, I have sent so many people to Cancun, Mexico.
Starting point is 00:11:46 By the way, the clinic is really outstanding. It's like white marble, very, very nice, nicer than probably any clinic I've been to in the United States. In this clinic, they're treating people with inflammatory bowel disease, seeing it reversed, seeing people with chronic autoimmune disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, having people with chronic pain, blown discs, major disc pain and neck pain in the neck and the neck, the low back and they are fully regaining their health. However, you can't get that treatment in the United States. And so that's one of the biggest things he said is he wants to make those sort of treatments legal in the United States. Another big one is peptide therapy. You know,
Starting point is 00:12:20 the medical community and pharmaceutical company, they want to own peptides. And peptides are amino acid chain, so shorter proteins that are found in a lot of your organs and glands. For instance, one might be, you might be familiar with is BPC-157. Another is TB-5.7. Another is TB5. These peptides are sort of in a gray area right now and not fully legal in a lot of states. And he wants to make those fully legal for the natural health community. So you can go to your naturopath and your chiropractor and your functional medicine doctor and actually get these. They're not fully cleared right now. And these are really, really powerful natural or semi-natural compounds that can help with everything from healing,
Starting point is 00:13:07 chronic pain to helping with menopausal symptoms, low testosterone, especially hormonal symptoms in healing chronic illness. They're very, very powerful, inflammatory bowel disease. And so peptides are powerful. He's also a big proponent of cellular medicine, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for neurological conditions and wound healing. And there's a lot of regulations around these today where it's very hard to get, I'll give an example of this.
Starting point is 00:13:33 When I had my spinal infection as well, I want to do hyperbaric therapy in a hard chamber. Well, I wanted to go to a hospital for that, but they only approved it for wound healing. Now, I actually was able to get in because I had a spinal infection, but for most other conditions, I wouldn't even have been allowed to be treated. And so the point is this. He is a big proponent of really helping make fully legal everything from hemp in CBD, THC products, to stem cell therapy, to peptides, to these forms of cellular medicine. And also if we go through a future pandemic, looking at what are the natural approaches we can do?
Starting point is 00:14:12 What can we learn from those other countries as we go through some of these things? He's also a big proponent. I've heard him talking about medicinal mushrooms and turmeric and Ashwaganda and supporting and having more benefits for companies that are selling these natural ingredients. And why this matters is this. The U.S. healthcare system is heavily focused on emergency care, reactive care. And a study from the Lancet, one of the most prestigious medical journals in the world, found or estimated that 60% of chronic diseases are preventable with proper lifestyle and alternative interventions. And I would say that number could be closer to 80%. I saw another medical journal that said it's closer to 80.
Starting point is 00:14:50 So 60 to 80% of our chronic diseases today, if they just changed your diet and lifestyle, would not be there at all. And so he is a big proponent of making natural mental mental health. medical care, the primary in medications as the second thing you do. Think about this. If you go in there were diabetes, do you want to get put on a drug that's going to have a side effect, which is going to deplete your body of coenzyme Q10 and B12 and cause nerve degeneration, heart failure later on? No, what do you want to do first? You want dietary recommendations. You want vitamins. You want supplements. You want peptides. You want these things to where you can reverse it naturally and not have the side effects. As your first line of defense as mainstream primary care medicine,
Starting point is 00:15:34 And then if that doesn't work after a year, which will probably only happen 5% of the time, then you go and you get put on a medication for a period of time while the doctor simultaneously tries to get you off of it. That is the sort of medical care he's looking for that will truly save lives, benefit people, improve the health care of this entire country. You know, we've been pouring trillions of dollars into things like the cancer industry. And cancer rates continue to rise. It's not getting better, right? Let's try a new approach like RFK Jr's promoting.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Okay, number five initiative, RFK Jr. has is public health agency restructuring. He attends to establish strict ethical firewalls between public health agencies and private industry to eliminate funding biases, particularly from pharmaceutical companies. I mean, Kennedy proposes annual audits of agencies like the CDC, the NIH, and the FDA to ensure transparency and accountability in future decision making. And when you look at the connections between the people that worked at pharmaceutical companies and now work at the NIH or the CDC or FDA and vice versa, it's like they're doing things, giving each other favors legally. They're turning an eye, not holding each other accountable because they worked with their friends and now we're at another company.
Starting point is 00:16:54 And we need to stop that today. There are so many people that have been damaged by mainstream medicine. I mean, here's an example. There was a drug that came out quite a few years ago that killed nearly 100,000 people was causing their hearts to explode. It was a pain-killing anti-inflammatory medication. And that's just one example of something that's happened, and those companies weren't really fully held accountable.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Number six, he has an emphasis on natural health approaches. He supports insurance coverage for acupuncture, chiropractic care, and functional. medicine consultations, making them more accessible to Americans. You know, there are a lot of insurance companies that don't fully support you being able to go and spend your insurance money on taking vitamins and supplements and natural forms of care. It only pays for the conventional care of you getting prescribed a drug. Kennedy also promotes not only being able to see natural practitioners and insurance covering it, but also things like intermittent fasting and natural healing. And approaches that are found in the biohacking community, like infrared light therapy and
Starting point is 00:18:06 saunas and things like that to naturally heal the body. And he also aims to fund research into plant-based diets, vitamins, minerals, herbs, and their effects on chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Today, most of the funding for studies is around drugs, not herbs, not spices, not vitamins, not minerals. He wants more of the money to go. He wants more of the money to go into those things. For instance, you know, if somebody goes in for cancer today, we know generally that turmeric has powerful anti-cancer benefits. But when you go and see an oncologist, oncologist 99% of the time do not recommend a single vitamin or supplement. The only thing they're recommending is surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation. And he believes that when you're going
Starting point is 00:18:52 to Duke or M.D. Anderson or any of these Cedar Sinai, any of these top hospitals, that those oncologists should be recommending turmeric and Rishi mushroom and maybe even Ivermectin, but things that are natural, vitamin D. And that's not happening today. You know, when you go in with heart disease, when you go in with diabetes, your doctor isn't typically prescribing you berberine and cinnamon and chromium and fenugreek and recommending dietary protocols. He wants more research into those things to where mainstream medicine and MDs are actually prescribing vitamins, supplements, and herbs instead. Number seven, Kennedy plans to overhaul pandemic preparedness by emphasizing early treatment
Starting point is 00:19:38 protocols, reducing the needs for these blanket lockdowns and respiratories, which actually were killing people. He supports funding research into natural immune boosters like vitamin D, zinc, quercetin, and a 2021 study from the British Medical Journal showed. that high vitamin D levels were linked to lower severity of COVID-19 cases. This is something I actually came and spoke out about, and I was ridiculed by the conventional medical community. I had an article written about me saying Dr. Axis unscientific
Starting point is 00:20:08 because I was a proponent of vitamin D and zinc in certain compounds like quercetin and herbs like estrangelis at fighting COVID-19. Later on, I proved to be right when all the research came out. By the way, if you want to see a good or listen to a great podcast on this, I went over my biggest lessons from COVID-19. And you could look up Dr. Axe COVID on YouTube or look for it on Spotify or Apple. And you'll see the top 10 lessons. And I think it's really worth you going back listening to that episode.
Starting point is 00:20:40 It was incredibly popular in going and listening to that. But I really go through that research on there. But he's a big proponent of this. And he also proposes improved protection for small businesses and workers that are impacted by public emergencies. such as future tax breaks and government grants for these businesses. I still know people today that are suffering financially because their businesses were shut down due to the COVID lockdowns. And so he wants to have a plan going.
Starting point is 00:21:11 I mean, think about that. We didn't have a plan going in. Like, think about how crazy that is. Most of our countries did not have a plan with all the movies. Think about how many movies there are about pandemics and this happening. We didn't have. Our plan was just shut everything. down? It's crazy. Number eight, addressing chronic diseases. Kennedy wants to combat chronic diseases
Starting point is 00:21:30 by focusing on their root cause, such as poor diet, exposure to environmental toxins, and a lack of physical activity. He plans to increase funding for detoxification programs to address exposure to heavy metals, pesticides, mold, and endocrine disruptors. Why this matters, chronic diseases account for seven of ten deaths in the U.S. annually and cost the economy over $3.5 trillion per year, highlighting the need for more preventative measures. Number nine, he's all about environmental health. Now, Kennedy supports replacing lead pipes in underserved communities as part of a national clean water initiative. He proposes a ban on the use of endocrine disrupting chemicals that are found in consumer products, everything from deodorant to skin care, citing links to hormone
Starting point is 00:22:18 unbalances, infertility, and cancer. Why this matters, studies have shown that exposure to these endocrine-disrupting chemicals cost the U.S. 340 billion annually in health care expenses and lost productivity. And we know this is a problem today. When you look at a comparison of what's banned in Europe versus what's banned here, Europe bans a lot more of these chemicals. We don't. So people are causing major toxic illness in themselves because of it. Number 10, health care system reform. He advocates for expanding Medicare coverage to include alternative therapies like naturopathy, herbal medicine, chiropractic, and Kennedy supports capping out-of-pocket expenses for prescription drugs, increasing transparency and drug pricing.
Starting point is 00:23:03 When you look at what it costs to make these drugs, sometimes it's pennies, and that they're charging hundreds of dollars a month for people. I mean, diabetes is an example. It is unethical, what they're doing today. Here's an interesting fact. A 22 report found that U.S. prescription drug prices are nearly three times higher than those in 32 other countries, emphasizing the need for reform. Now, again, I think we can get rid of 95% of the drugs that are prescribed today, and those can be replaced with natural means. But that 5% of the time somebody actually does need one, that they're not having to pay out to the point to where it's actually hurting themselves and their family financially in a really serious way. Number 11, he wants to ban direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising. You know, the United States and New Zealand are the only two countries that allow direct-to-consumeric pharmaceutical advertising with companies spending over $6 billion annually on TV ads.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I mean, again, you can't sit there and watch TV without a drug commercial or go on an online website without a drug commercial, targeted both you and to your children and your teenagers. You know many teenagers today are on antidepressant drugs like Lexapro? Why is that? Because they're going to their parents, they're being marketed to and being told you need to be on this. And so a lot of young women are getting on it as an example. He seeks to eliminate pharmaceutical advertising on television and social media, which he believes drives unnecessary demand and raises health care costs.
Starting point is 00:24:34 And Kennedy also supports public education campaigns, focusing on prevention and holistic health funded by savings from reducing advertising costs. Think about this. If rather than your kids were being educated or pounded into them, they need to be on drugs, if instead they were being taught about the benefits of eating organic meat, more vegetables, more fruits, getting herbs, getting spices, getting vitamins, getting nutrients, how to cook and prepare food for themselves. Think about what would happen if they were taught nutrition in schools and even their commercials for those online, what that would do to the health of our nation. And number 12, he plans on banning harmful food ingredients that are damaging you and your children's health. Kennedy plans to ban artificial food dyes like yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1, all of these chemicals, BHT, hydrogenated oils, titanium dioxide, which have been linked to hyperactivity, inflammation, neurological diseases, gut health problems, and other hormonal health conditions.
Starting point is 00:25:33 He supports mandatory labeling for genetically modified oil. organisms and the removal of high fructose corn syrup from processed food. Here's why this matter. Studies have linked artificial food dyes to behavioral problems in children, a 2019 meta-analysis that was pooling together several studies. This was published in the Journal of Pediatrics and found that removing these dyes improved symptoms in 33% of children with ADHD. And can you imagine what this is going to do to our kids when they're going to be able to learn better, have better behavior, better performance in schools in their everyday.
Starting point is 00:26:07 lives. It is going to be so powerful. And again, when you look at other countries, like Italy, like France, like Israel, like Australia, like Canada, so many countries, they have banned artificial food dyes. They have banned a lot of these chemicals. And the United States still hasn't because some of these companies have a financial interest and are making money off of this. So, they haven't been banned or out. He wants to go and protect you, protect your children. Now, I watched a video of RFK Jr. saying his mission and why he wants to be able to be able to be able to be able to, wants to help this. And it was so touching to me. He said this that he thinks about how many children today, for instance, are diagnosed with autism or somewhere on the autistic spectrum. And because of it,
Starting point is 00:26:49 they're not fully functioning in a lot of cases. And he said, you know, what it would mean to him, if he could just save one of those kids to where they were fully functioning. And this really hit me because my mom, growing up, she taught special ed. And my mom taught for years, you know, So many kids with autism and major learning disorders. And so our family always had a heart for this and seeing these kids wanting to help them function at the highest level possible. And when I run my medical practice, one of the things I do is that one of the things I think that's the most fulfilling for me is when I would have been able to see a child and they would come in with autism at a young age. And I was able to have them radically change their diet, go gluten-free and casing-free and get them on a lot of the healing foods. get them on the right supplements.
Starting point is 00:27:38 We'd get them in a hyperbarrett chamber. We would do all these things. And literally, I'm thinking about one mom. And after just two weeks, she said, my son has been able to say three words. And after two weeks, he's able to say over 30 words. And then, you know, two years later, he was fully functioning in normal public school.
Starting point is 00:27:56 And just her sharing what that meant to her. And for me, it was one of the most fulfilling things I'd ever been a part of is helping that community. Because, I mean, if you're a parent and you have a child, that's in need of something. And if you can improve your life, it's the most meaningful thing possible. If you've got kids to be able to help their health,
Starting point is 00:28:16 to be able to help them lose the weight, improve athletic performance, reverse neurodegenerative illness, it is really, really powerful and it means so much. And so this is one of the things I love about RFK juniors in this video and these interviews, he just said, this is why he does what he does. And it reminds me of my mom.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Like, I got in the medical community because my mom went through the traditional medical treatments and then went through the natural, and the natural saved her life. And that meant so much to me, and I wanted to be part of that mission. He wants to be part of that very same mission of helping you, helping children,
Starting point is 00:28:46 helping heal people all naturally. And I'd love to hear your thoughts on all of this. Share this in the comment section below. If you think Robert F. Kennedy Jr., of RFK, if he will be confirmed as the Health and Human Services Secretary, and if you think this is a good thing. I want to say thanks so much for tuning in and being on mission with me.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Hey, make sure to subscribe to the channel if you're not subscribed. And thank you for sharing this and being on mission with me. There's a lot of people on the fence, and they don't know if they should be pro RFK Jr. or not. And I want to encourage you to share this episode because the more people that know the truth about RFK Jr. And his initiatives and what he's trying to do, the greater chance he has of getting
Starting point is 00:29:25 confirmed. You know, you can write to your local, you know, senator and congressmen and these people and let them know, hey, we want RFK to be confirmed. I want to encourage you to go on social media, to pick up the phone and call and do everything you can in voicing your belief that RFK Jr. should be confirmed because think about what is going to happen in the health of this world when RFK Jr. helps make America healthy again with all of these natural treatments I'm so excited about. And I'm so grateful for you sharing and subscribing. I can't wait to see you on the next episode.
