It's live. It's all happening. The action is the juice. It's machine. It is John Daigle from
Establish the Run, your waiver wire hero, the season long, bro, my new favorite high stakes,
bro, as I hit refresh every afternoon on Tuesday waiting for you, put the high stakes bids in
there. How you doing, man? What's up? I don't personally think I move the market, but I
will say the bid suggestions I've had in the waiver wire column at Establish the run,
in particular for NFFC and FFPC, they've been extremely close. So I'm either on my game
or people are bidding based on the number I'm suggesting, and I'm not sure which one just
yet. I'm tried to try to move the market slowly in our direction. But it's another fun week over
there. I think it's also a fun week just for the 10 and 12 team league pickup, similar to how
highly we discussed Jeremy Bernard.
Like last week, there are a couple guys that I think are going to turn some leagues this
week.
Yeah, that kind of, that one, Jeremy Bernard one, kind of chapped my ass because I felt like I was
out in front of it.
And I was like, this guy's going to be good.
Like, I don't know if he's going to be, you know, breakout star good.
I don't know if he's going to be Jalen Coker in a week or two.
But I think he'd be pretty good.
And I put aggressive bids, like borderline 30% in all my FFPC leagues.
And didn't get him.
Didn't get him in one.
We got him in one main event league.
But I think I've been on him in like six leagues with 30 plus percent.
And the market was like, sorry, bud.
Like, we're way more excited than you are.
And I was like, you can't be.
He's my guy.
Yeah.
It's tough.
It's the same runout, too, as we saw with Kenneth Gainwell last year,
just a satellite back, a journeyman for his entire career.
But when Aaron Rogers has a press,
reference for you. More importantly, when Aaron Rogers
trust you, you're on the field because
Aaron Rogers, like Tom Brady late in his career,
dictates the personnel and the
offense. And Kenneth Gainwell
last year, career high target share, career high points per game.
You haven't heard Kenneth Gainwell at all this year.
A lot of listeners might not even know what team he's on
because, again, Aaron Rogers made Kenneth Gainwell.
I think Jerry Bernard is a good player anyways.
We talked about him last week how he has a pedigree
playing in the SEC at Alabama, 21.5% target share
throughout college.
But at the same time also, Aaron Rogers now has his trust.
And so he's just peppered underneath running different routes than D.K. Metcalfe, and it's showing.
Yeah, and that offense is just itching for anybody that can do something besides what D.K. Metcalfe does.
I mean, even some weeks, it's Pat Friermouth answering that.
And Darnel Washington answering that.
And Dan sent me a text, I think, Monday that was, oh, thanks for the Jeremy Bernard wreck.
And I was like, I didn't list my own advice well enough.
And this week for Jeremy Bernard, it's the same Saints defense that just allowed J.J. McCarthy to average 11 and a half yards per temp off the bitch.
So another good week upcoming for the Steelers passing offense.
The other part of Dan's text was Colston Loveland good rest of season.
And I'm like, hell yeah.
Bro, I think we're good.
I think we're good, dude.
I think we made it through.
I think we made it home, babe.
Last three games tied in nine and Target share, tied in three.
no, tied in three in Target Share, tied in nine and expected points per game because of the usage.
And he left two more touchdowns on the table in that game, too.
I think we're all the way back with Colston Loveland.
The By-Low window is no longer there.
Yeah, and you can, we'll get to our Bailow, sell high later.
But is it in mind, did I add it in the, I did.
We'll do it.
We'll do a grade to trade live because I've been making some moves.
you might think some people are checking out right about now with their one in five and two and four teams.
I don't have any of those except in the couple of redraft teams.
This is the time to get aggressive, I think, if you are anticipating, you got a pretty good team on your hands.
So the buys this week, bills, Jags, Chargers, commanders, sometimes you have two of those quarterbacks on one team, on one Superflex team.
and you're having to get pretty creative.
Congratulations, number one if you do,
because that means you probably have a Josh Allen,
Trevor Lawrence,
Josh Allen,
Jaden Daniels team.
Hopefully none of those include Justin Herbert.
But you've got to do a little bit of a quarterback dance
and maybe a running back dance too,
with Tudin on the shelf and James Cook on the shelf.
And, man,
hopefully you had already shifted away from a lot of chargers.
But those are your buys.
Obviously, some big injuries,
he's popping up late Sunday and even Monday.
And then another situation that we'll get to that is kind of flipping at the quarterback
position in front of our eyes where all my favorite all my favorite all my favorite
unks are going down.
Mike Evans, Devonte Adams, James, James, James, James, Winston.
All the all unc league is just is dying.
But all right, let's let's jump into the waiver wire target.
of what you posted earlier today over to establish the run.
Antonio Williams leads to the column, obviously, on the heels of that Terry McLaurin injury.
Tell me how much we're going to put on Antonio Williams, I guess, upside long term for him.
Yeah, just vibes on, if you're going to spend what I think you're going to recommend spending on Antonio Williams.
is he going to consistently hit your starting roster?
So for reference, Jeremy Bernard,
I think my high bid on him, my suggestion was 19,
which could have got him in a lot of leagues.
Some home leagues went up to 31, 32,
which I felt like was too expensive for my taste.
17 to 19 could have got him in most leagues.
So I was happy with that, as you mentioned.
And the high stakes leagues where you get $1,000 worth of fab,
he did go for more than like 310, 311.
I think Antonio Williams is going to come around the same benchmark,
perhaps just a little bit cheaper.
So in your home leagues, I have Antonio Williams for anywhere from 12 to 17.
13 might work, but he's a player I'm very confident in,
so I'm willing to go up to 17.
And in the leagues where he's still available,
which is not a lot of them at all,
and the higher stakes leagues that you and I play in,
I am suggesting something closer to 36 to 41%.
So that winning Jeremy Bernard bid, basically.
And that's because of what happened last night,
Terry McLorne leaves in an aircast, carded off,
now officially ruled out for the year.
Antonio Williams comes on the field and leads the wide receivers and routes run.
Beyond that, though, we do already have a sample of one game
that Terry McLaurin missed earlier this year,
and Antonio Williams earned a 22% target share,
right behind Stefan Diggs's team high, 25% mark.
Washington and also with Jaden Daniels back under center,
they actually have the ninth easiest projected schedule
of opposing passing defenses until the fantasy playoffs.
So we do have an elevated rookie wide receiver,
the number 71 overall pick who was drafted on day two.
He was also Antonio Williams exclusively a slot player in college.
I think it's tremendous that already the commanders have shown
they'll play him wherever.
They'll just have him out there running routes just to get him on the field.
And now he's suddenly their wide receiver two against that easy schedule I mentioned.
So I do love Antonio Williams.
The commanders are on by this week.
So I do think you can get him for a little bit cheaper.
He'll go overlooked.
Can't start him until week eight.
But I definitely want him when the commander's return.
Yeah.
And I think there's a, I don't know, say it's likelihood,
but just like a pretty healthy percentage chance that,
Stefan Diggs gets dealt.
There are teams that are needing a wide receiver.
Pretty bad that are competing,
and I don't think the commanders have any illusion of competing this year,
particularly if, you know, if the right NFCE teams win during their biweek.
Like, I could see Step Diggs getting shipped to the Rams or something like that,
and then it's, my God, Antonio Williams, like, light the torch.
Let's go.
the second guy you had listed on your waiver targets list over here.
We got some bad news today that he's not coming back right when his IR window opens.
That's going to take a minute.
So you've got kind of two guys at the top here that are going to take a little bit of patience
with Antonio Williams on the buy and then Terrence Ferguson waiting another week
from his return from IR window.
Context is needed for Terrence Ferguson because Adam Schepter's
most recent report is that he'll be out for some time, even though Sean McFay previously mentioned,
that after the four weeks were up, the four weeks would be in week eight, so one week from now,
that Ferguson will return. The most recent report, though, suggests that is not the case. Having
said that, I'm going to go full Black Swan and play game theory here and mention and remember
that reporting has been terrible this year, between Marvin Harrison Jr., getting dealt and hiding the
team between the most recent one, the most egregious one, that every reporter, Shepter
included, mentioned Jalen Hertz was not going to IR 24 hours later.
He was put on season-ending IR because blood clots had traveled to his lungs.
There's a, I don't know what the percentage is.
It's low, but there's still a non-zero chance that reporting is wrong on Terrence Ferguson,
and he's back as early as week eight or nine.
And if that's the case, without Devante Adams, basically for the rest of the season,
The report is Adams is going to miss six to ten weeks.
If the Rams continue to struggle, Adams just won't come back and he'll call it a year.
But for Terrence Ferguson, we've seen this already.
Puku Nakua, who basically interchangeable, he's better than Devante Adams at this stage of their careers,
but they're interchangeable when one goes out, the other one's the wide receiver one.
And without Pukua in week two, Terrence Ferguson was targeted on 41% of his routes.
Only Trey McBride was targeted at a higher rate that week for 18.9, expect
points, which was the tied-in three that week as well.
So if Ferguson comes back and Adams is out, then Ferguson is suddenly a ceiling player
whose upside reaches beyond starting tight-end.
It reaches into flex territory because that's how explosive he's been whenever he's
been there, quote, wide receiver two whenever Nakua or Adams has been out.
Yeah, that's just a super fragile roster.
You know, there's not a third wide receiver.
or a fourth wide receiver that you want to step in there.
And they're pretty smart about it.
I mean, you know, if it's easy to draw the line from targets to targets,
big-headed targets, because Naku is out or Adams is out or Ferguson's out,
those other two guys eat, the pie just kind of split three ways.
And whatever one of them is gone, it's split two ways.
And Ferguson does get used down the field in a way that almost no other tight end does.
So that's that's super exciting.
Of these,
the rest of these guys that you have listed here,
and I would recommend everybody go to establish the run
and check out John's full article.
There's a lot more here than what we just talked about on this show.
But pick out a couple of guys here that you want to want to feature,
talk about that aren't necessarily in our,
in our,
I'm calling it capitulation corner down here.
Pick out,
pick out some of your favorites that you want to bid on this week.
Well, I do want to also mention that it's possible Josh Jacobs was dropped.
So check your home leaks for him because he will be back this week.
Thus, you can drop the bums we've been trying to start in his place.
Marshawn Lloyd, Caleb Johnson.
Pierre Strong actually spiked a pretty good game against the Cowboys,
unsurprisingly, because Marshaun Lloyd got injured in the first quarter.
Nonetheless, though, all these players now dropable Josh Jacobs,
regardless of the eventual results
because I still think the Packers will be a team
that struggles to run the ball all year long.
They will use Josh Jacobs for 18 touches per week.
So make sure Jacobs is not out there if he is.
He's clearly the top pickup.
Jordan Mason reportedly will practice.
We talked about buying him low already.
If he was dropped over Minnesota's buy,
he returns not only this week,
but then also the Vikings have the easiest schedule of rushing defenses
the rest of the way.
So want to get Jordan's.
Jordan Mason and be ahead of that. Also, would Jacori-Crossi-Mirrit officially put on
Indur Reserve for the next couple of months? Rashad White, if he was dropped as well, that is the
commander starting running back now for better or worse, so you can add him and plug him in
as a weekly RB2 for when the Washington returns from their week seven by. Now, beyond that,
I do want to touch on Jonah Coleman one more time, just in case he's still out there,
eligible to return from Ender Reserve this week, unclear if he's actually going to.
but if he does, it's probably not the first game,
but I do think it's a short path for him to overthrowing the rest of Denver's running backs.
As we talked a little bit last week,
we've now seen two games that Sean Payton has called plays over Davis Webb.
In those two games, J.K. Dobbins has handled the two highest touch shares
for any Denver running back this year.
80% two weeks ago, this past game was 67%.
Having said that, 45 running backs have had 10 carries in this last two weeks.
And J.K. Dobbins ranks dead last and success rate among all of them.
Because he basically just isn't giving the Broncos the best way to describe this, successful plays.
He's one of the worst running backs in the league, not to mention the injury history.
And so if Jonah Coleman is now arriving to that backfield where the starting running back,
isn't even performing well, that gives them a path to overthrow Dobbins entirely.
So I want to be ahead of John McCleman returning and just being the most explosive player
who the Broncos need because they're not giving you anything else on offense.
Another one I do want to be ahead of.
We talked a little bit last week.
Expected to return this week is Dillon Samson.
Three running backs last year.
Only three averaged over two yards per out run as elite pass catching backs.
who could also sprinkle and touches.
The three running backs were,
Bejohn Robinson,
everyone knows how he's doing,
Jalen Warren,
everyone knows how he's doing,
and Dylan Sampson.
When you look at what the Browns have offered so far
in their backfield,
Quenchon Juckins has been very similar
to J.K. Dobbins,
and that coming back from Junkins,
from his fractured fibula,
he actually ranks dead last
and rush yards over expected
out of every running back this year.
One of the least,
least efficient running backs, if not the least efficient running back in the entire league.
So Dylan Samson can also return and just win this backfield outright as the better and more
explosive player. Those are situations I like to be ahead of. Now, for the grab bag of wide receivers,
and this is where you can chime into because we're getting to the spots where these guys are
available in a majority of leagues, the Dan's leagues that's listening. These are the players
that we're really interested in. And I want to touch on four of them that are
interchangeable, but I'm going to discuss them in order because I think that's how you pick them up and
prioritize them. Let's start with Omar Cooper for the Jets. A forgotten player because he ran one route in
week one and then was put on end of reserve. But that one route, he led the entire league in 30
yards per route run because he turned it into a 30-yard catch and then got injured. We didn't
know anything beyond that. He returned this past week for basically a second snap all year and he
out targeted Garrett Wilson for a team high 24% target share over 100 yards in a touchdown.
And I would argue that's not even a fluke.
Omar Cooper was drafted at the end of the first round.
He has first round pedigree and he led this entire class at his position and forcing a
mistackle on 39% of his catches at Indiana.
So he's the real deal with a real prospect profile.
So I want to be ahead of the situation like Jeremy Bernard.
And I believe Omar Cooper can stick around as the team's wide receiver two or at best, maybe even the wide receiver one.
Yeah, I mean, his profile is an easy button on the outside to get explosive plays.
I really loved what the Jets did in the draft offensively with him in Kenyon City.
It seemed like whoever like the next quarterback is is going to have immediate answers.
And Gary Wilson's good too, but more, Gary Wilson's more of like a, you know, he's a classic kind of technician.
at the wide receiver position.
And Omar Cooper, I mean, you know why the Hoosiers were so good last year.
It was him and was it Charlie Beck, the deep threat guy.
And they would just clear out space for Omar Cooper.
And coming right off the IR and doing this, I didn't necessarily have this in the books,
but I'm trying to keep like the Omar Cooper hype a little, a little hush right now.
I know it's your job to tout these guys, but I'm like, everyone must be chill, be chill.
be chill with Omar Cooper, but I feel the same exact way that I felt about Jeremy Bernard
last week. And maybe it's the target, the immediate target share might not be the same
because it's not the Steelers in which anybody that just like shows a pulse can be the best
wide receiver week to week because Gary Wilson sitting over there and then you hope
Kenyon Sadiq's healthy down the road and, you know, that type of stuff. But I think in skill set,
I think Omar Cooper is more talented than Jeremy Bernard.
And I think he can generate more explosive plays.
It's just about does he get a north of whatever the cutoff line target share is each week.
But I love Omar Cooper.
I mean, I have him on a lot of dynasty teams, had to watch him put zeros and zeros and zeros and zeros.
And then you start getting in so far into the season that you're doing the thing at the end of the year of like, well, he was hurt.
But, you know, wide receivers that don't do anything in the rookie or don't usually work out.
I was looking forward to that conversation this offseason with Omar Cooper, but he's back.
He's awesome.
They have a, I mean, there have been some surprising offenses that have created some viable
situations and the Jets are high, high on the list.
And Omar Cooper's awesome, man.
Dylan Samson's a great call.
He can PPR scam his way into like 14, 15 points a week.
He's done it before for little tiny bursts.
And then, did you want to touch on another guy?
Yeah, just quickly hit on a couple more that are more fragile.
I don't have as much confidence as the ones we've talked about already.
But we have to talk about J. Linnell because what I believe is playing out is exactly what we discussed last week.
And that wide receivers are traded midseason because they're bad and their teams don't want them.
And the most successful story we have the past few years of Jacoby Myers last year getting trade to the Jagger.
Guire's midseason, but all that really did was not really give Jacobi Myers a ceiling.
It opened up and allowed for the breakout of Parker, Washington.
I think that's what's happening with Jalen Knoll.
And that Marvin Harrison Jr. is not a player who can succeed or excel on his own.
But what it is happening is that there isn't a better wide receiver coming for Jalen Knoll's work.
And Noah has improved every single game, every single year.
He's just early in his career because he was drafted last season, been pigeonholed exclusively as a slot player.
And then at least in terms of last year,
Demico Ryan's always used veteran preference,
had Christian Kirk, Justin Watson, Braxton Barrios.
He just played the older guys in the slot over Jalenol,
and only when those players were injured,
did Noel get to play and then exploded?
What we're seeing now is that Noel is playing out of necessity
because this team already lost Jaden Higgins.
And Noel has been awesome.
On the year, he is 10th and yards per route run
out of the 194 players with 10 targets.
And I genuinely think it's just been too good and too explosive to put the genie
back in the lamp.
I think he has no choice but to stay and two wide receiver sets now,
especially after this past game against the Jaguars in London,
he actually finished with more expected and fantasy points than Nico Collins as Houston's
wide receiver won.
I don't think that's the outcome every single week.
But CJ Strout is having the best season since his rookie year.
The schedule continues.
to lighten up and be easy.
And Noel is the second wide receiver by default.
So I really like Jalen Noel too.
Yeah.
I mean, they need, well, I think we don't do fast enough,
which we're going to do a segment on it here in a minute,
which is reframing either players or offenses once they've shown you what they are
after six weeks.
The Texans are a very good passing offense,
a borderline elite passing offense this year.
And that means what our old,
rubric for judging the Texans was was Nico Collins and nothing else and maybe Dalton
Schultz underneath for a couple of a dent the keg kind of targets whenever C.J. Stroud's about
to get sacked. You need to trash that thinking and understand that like Jalen Knowles viable now.
Marv might never be just because he's Marv, but Tank Dell's coming back and I'm going to keep a close eye
on what's happening with Tank Dell when he comes back.
Because I think, man, if the Texans are going to sling it around like this,
that's not something we had in our equation ever leading into the season.
And so our ADP and then just the meta overall is probably still outdated and incorrect
on what the Texans are.
And Jay Leno, I picked him up.
Like, as people were going up to get Bernard and going up to get, you know,
whoever the bid was last week, I got a bunch of Jay Leno.
because he was so cheap.
He was an $11 bid out of $1,000,
and you could put him on your roster.
So I added him a bunch last week,
and I hope he's finally taken off.
But here's a fun game to play off of this information.
So there are,
Omar Cooper just came back and just boomed week one coming off of IR.
Of these guys that are soon to come off of IR,
are, I guess, you know, I try to narrow it down like the next two to three weeks.
If they hadn't, I think it was October 25th is the next like scheduled to open window or whatever it's called.
Jordan Tyson, I'm going to make you pick one.
Who has the biggest impact, second half?
Jordan Tyson, Jonah Coleman, Jonathan Brooks, Tank Dell.
That is Alec Pierce.
Terence Ferguson, Jordan Mason, Charbonnet, Origerian Price.
If you could have one, who are you picking?
I'm going to get it down to one, but I eliminated it to five so far.
Okay.
I'm just going to talk to the process for everybody because Jordan Tyson, Jonah Coleman,
Terrence Ferguson, Jordan Basin, Zach Charbonnet,
should all be rostered universally everywhere.
Those are the top five IR guys.
Like, you know, Devante Adams, I don't think, I'm not,
every league varies, every roster is different.
I'm not putting Devante Adams in an IR spot just because I don't think we see them
again this fantasy season, which is why I'm dropping him for Terrence Ferguson, putting Ferguson
in my R-I-R instead. Also, Jordan Tyson, as much as I love, Jordan Tyson coming out, his red flag
coming out was injuries, and then he immediately got injured. And so even though we all expect
in return, not this week, after the Saints return from Paris this past, so next week,
very easily Jordan Tyson could re-agravate an injury, and then suddenly he's just gone
after seeing him play two snaps.
I'm very aware of that.
So I think Terrence Ferguson and Jordan Mason,
Jordan Mason is the safest.
Terrence Ferguson has the highest ceiling of the bunch,
even though we don't know his timeline.
So I'll pick Jordan Mason.
And then Zach Charbonnet is going to be the most boring
15-touch running back weekly.
Jonah Coleman has the sneakiest upside.
I think that's the best way to talk about it.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
And then I wanted to put, I wanted to put this to, to Daigle, because this is, this is kind of what, this is like the reality of high stake bids. It's almost like, everybody's chasing after the same thing, right? And so five people, six people in your league, if they are, if you have six competitive teams, which you should just mathematically, they're going to go in, they're going to go check ETR or they're going to check, you know, Steph's,
stuff over at legendary upside of her recommendations and they're going to go in and they're going to
go, oh, there's the bid. I really want this player plus one, right? Or if you want to go in and
you want to go, oh, plus two or plus three, I really want this player. Sometimes that's awesome. Sometimes
that's great. Sometimes it turns into Jeremy Bernard and it might win you a week and that's worth
all of your fab dollars. Honestly, like you have to think about it that way. Like how much is it worth
to me to win a week.
And I would give you a thousand of my five dollars to assure that I won one week in which I
wasn't supposed to because of a streamer or a waiver wire player.
But the reality of that is if you don't have a great reader, you don't have great feelings
about the highest bid guy that's out there, you can sneak in there.
And you can get the guy that's rolling around there for like five to seven bucks and add
them to your roster.
So here's my, here's my three scenarios for Daigle.
Would you rather win a 20% bid for Antonio Williams,
so that's 20% of whatever you're remaining,
Fab would be in your league,
or a 7% bid for Omar Cooper?
A 7% bid for Omar Cooper,
but I also, given the commanders on buy,
in 10 and 12 team leagues,
that usually depresses the price needed by a dollar or two.
and given how well Omar Cooper performed, that usually increases.
But I'd rather have the lower bid for Omar Cooper.
I think they're that close.
Okay.
Would you rather win a 15% bid for Terrence Ferguson or 5% bid for Jacoby Lane?
I'm going to chase the ceiling of Terrence Ferguson because I don't think
Jacoby Lane can get there since Zay Flowers has been so damn good.
anytime he's played under Declan Doyle with Lamar Jackson.
So even the past two games, I know they haven't been riveting for Tyler Huntley with Declan Doyle,
but Doyle's so intuitive and progressive as a play caller,
he's adjusted the scheme entirely to where he's dragged Zay Flowers closer to the line of scrimmage.
And Tyler Huntley's depth of target has been so low because all they're doing is getting the ball at as quickly as possible
and trying to create yards that way.
Whereas Lamar Jackson, it was play out.
action drop back and launch it deep.
So this team, the Bravens, have been aching for a second wide receiver behind
Zay Flowers so far.
Rashad Bateman, the only good game he's had was when Zay Flowers was out.
But I would much rather swing for Terrence Ferguson because Ferguson,
Ferguson legitimately could outscore Trey McBride if the domino's fell correctly.
It's like the tied into the rest of the way.
That's how high his ceiling is.
you mentioned this one earlier
and you know you mentioned it earlier in regards to the germy bernard bids getting up close to 35
or three 300 plus dollars fab over at ffpc
now that you've seen you know whatever we played a game and a half of what germy bernard can be
would you rather win a 30% bid for jermy bernard
or sneak in there and get a nice $10, 10% bid on Jordan Tyson.
You know, it's crazy, but I think I want Jeremy Bernard this year.
It might be recency by playing into itself,
because I've seen him most recently in the three games without Michael Pitman,
have a higher target share and be very successful than D.K. Metcalf.
But I trust Jeremy Bernard every single week.
It's crazy to say that after the last two games, but I do.
I think I'd personally rather have Bernard.
I understand, though, you would probably want Jordan Tyson.
I think a lot of people who prefer Jordan Tyson.
Yeah, if it's a third of the cost, yeah, if you're living,
this is live estate, like some crazy Narnia league that exists.
But, you know, it's a third of the cost.
I think Jordan Tyson, if given health,
I think he's going to just like continuously uptick on an offense that I really like.
in terms of usage.
And Jeremy Bernard, like, I love what I've seen thus far, obviously.
But it's been a week and a half.
And anything, Aaron Rogers, he could drop one pass or fumble,
and Aaron Rogers is like, I hate you now go away.
And that's the reality of it.
But it's funny to get to week six,
and there are so few levers you can pull and crank to, like, unleash upside,
that, like, Jeremy Bernard gets me really excited.
like Omar Cooper gets me really excited
because they've shown you nothing but positive thus far
and you know they're not going to do that the entire season
they're going to have bad weeks, they're going to bad months maybe
but there's so few things you can do right now
besides trades to legitimately alter your roster
and these two guys I think are very, very high on the list.
All right, let's see, I don't think we need to touch anybody else
in the high stakes top 10.
We did Antonio Williams,
to Jalenole.
Let's do one minute on what in the hell is going on with the Giants,
because I don't want to talk about them the rest of the,
the rest of the show.
So we get the disciplinary benching, playing four snaps for Cam Scataboo,
not touching the ball.
We get the Najee Harris saying it's hard to get going whenever, you know,
you're splitting carries back and forth and they cut him.
Man, they got a little weird,
a weird vibe going on in that room with John Harbaugh with his running backs.
And now Tyrone Tracy is back in the mix, dude.
It's brought us all the way back to Tyrone Tracy.
So is there anything to salvage from this giant's backfield?
Or is this just going to swing different ways like every three to four weeks?
This is the difference in absolutely,
disgusting leagues because, you know, where it's as easy to get Dylan Samson, Jonah Coleman,
just be higher on those guys naturally in 10 and 12 team home leagues that I believe are most of our
listeners play in.
And the high stakes leagues you and I are in where the waivers are completely bare,
there's going to be a war for Tyrone Tracy for no good reason at all, except we have fab
to spin.
And running backs are so scarce in that type of format that they get picked up regardless.
I am so down on Tyrone Tracy
that in a league
I'm five and one in now with Ian Hartets
and we have to have a starting running back
because Rashad White's on by and Dave Montgomery
we are assuming it's out because the Texans go on by
after this next week.
So I would imagine they just let Dave Montgomery
rest his groin for one more week.
We have to have a starter
and we're just going to ignore Tyrone Tracy.
I'm going to go straight to Jawar Jordan.
I'm going to take 8 to 12 carries against the giants from Drouard Jordan
because I believe that's actually safer than they're getting
and then bidding a war for Tyrone Tracy.
Because all that's happening right now is that we saw Tracy handle 47% of backfield
touches, Devon Singletary 29%, Nagey Harris 24%, Cam Scatibu benched this past game.
So all you're doing logically is saying like at worst,
Scataboo is going to take Naji Harris's work
and Tyrone Tracy will still get what,
eight to ten touches,
but recency bias,
because Tyrone Tracy scored two touchdowns on eight touches,
recently bias has increased the price for Tracy
and I'm just not interested.
I'm not,
like I can justify
$470 bucks out of $1,000 on Jeremy Bernard.
I cannot justify that on Tyrone Tracy
in a three-headed committee
that Scataboo, I imagine,
handles another touch at some point the rest of the season.
He's not going to be zeroed out.
So I'm personally not high on Tracy.
There's going to be a war for him, though,
because running backs are a premium in those types of leagues.
Well, and the worst thing that Tyrone Tracy could do
is, like, look okay and give you a tiny bit of hope
and drop like a nice 11 points.
But he, you know, there's a, he almost got into the end zone.
Then you're like, oh, do I need to keep this guy
in my roster moving forward?
Whereas George Jordan, you're like, thank you for your service.
We'll see you later, bro.
And you can just drop them the next week,
and that can be your roster spot that churns.
If I knew Jeremiah Love was out again, which I don't know,
I don't even have an educated guess,
then I would pick a Bam Knight too because Bam Knight was awesome.
And I bet they lean on him more over Tyler Algier moving forward.
Al Jir didn't even have a single 10-yard run this past week,
which is why they had to use Knight, and he was great.
But, you know, hard as fuck, man.
Following the tea leaves, though, again, I can make an educated guest,
David Montgomery is going to be out.
So I'm going straight to Joward Jordan for $11.
And I'm just going to start over 471 for Tyrone Trace.
Nice.
Okay, we'll get into our capitulation corner over here
where I think we need to reframe a handful of these guys.
We do have some questions I wanted to get to before people think we won't answer them.
Let's see.
from Smitty, Superflex.
My third QB is Willis, Malik Willis.
I'm second on the waiver.
Would you pick up J.J. McCarthy for depth and maybe trade collateral since
biweeks are starting, or would you pick up Cooper since I lost Terry?
I assume Omar Cooper since you lost Terry McLaren.
So he's saying J.J. McCarthy for your fourth quarterback or spend that money on Omar Cooper?
quarterbacks have been extremely replaceable this year.
I even stopped writing about them.
I just ranked them now based on the matchup in the Waverwire column
because there's always six to nine available
and they are all neck and neck and rankings and replaceable.
You don't have to rush to at any point.
Even next week, some people are dealing with Tyler Shucks and Brock Purdy's buys in week eight.
Kyleor Murray plays the lions
Jacoby Percept plays the Cowboys
Boom right there
Just pick one up and start them
They're going to be top 12 quarterbacks
Who cares at all
So in this case
I'm always going to take the positional player
Because that's a much bigger win
Even in Super Flex leagues
Than the quarterback
Also for JJ McCarthy
I'm worried
I know he came off the bench
11 and a half yards per attempt
Against a horrible Saints D
that was completely checked out
Because they were up by three scores
they weren't even imagining the Giants were going to make that a game at any point.
But beyond that, JJ McCarthy actually 27 quarterbacks played in week six.
J.J. McCarthy was 27th an accurate pass rate.
It was the same shit we saw last year.
The box score doesn't look like it, but one peek under the hood,
you see the exact peripherals that haunted Jiji McCarthy and the Vikings last year.
So this upcoming game against Damiko Ryan, the Texans,
Like there's a non-zero chance,
JJ McCarthy actually dies on the film.
I'm very much worried.
What I think is ultimately going to happen
is that he's going to be benched again
in the next couple of weeks for James Winston,
and we're just going to do this little dance
for the rest of the season.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, the Harbaugh, like, daddy ego thing
of just going to the bench card immediately
seems to be like his idea of good coaching this year.
And so why not do that to not.
whenever he does exactly what he's done the rest of his career,
which is just,
dude,
couldn't hit a fucking locker from 10 feet away,
but he's rifling that shit.
He's throwing it hard as hell.
The rest of the context for Smitty's question that I didn't see till now,
he's got a Lave burden,
Debo Terry.
We don't got Terry anymore.
So yeah,
you need a position player,
but you need Omar Cooper.
Also for Malik Willis,
you know,
nothing's probably going to change,
but we're coming out of the buy,
so they had 14 days to rejigger everything in this offense,
maybe make a couple changes,
and we're expecting them to have Caleb Douglas,
Chris Bell, Kevin Coleman, Jr.,
and Malik Washington all at full strength for the first time all year.
Since the last time we saw Caleb Douglas,
he was very good,
but also Chris Bell wasn't running at full strength just yet.
He was ramped up.
And so I'm interested.
Like, they have my interest for one more week
until I check out of the Dolphins.
Yeah. And then I don't know when this got thrown in here, but Stephen just said, are you out on Mumfield? Yeah.
I mean, I wouldn't say out he is in my high stakes recommendations in the Establish the Run column.
Just because we've also already seen him when Puka was out weeks two and three,
Montfield ran the second most routes for the Rams. You know, Terrence Ferguson would be the wide receiver too, but Terrence Ferguson is not there.
So until then, it's basically Tyler Higby, Colby Parkinson, and Mumfiel,
as spike week options.
Yeah.
Just a funny question to put out there, Stephen.
But okay.
So as I mentioned, I think the, I was looking through kind of like the rankings and some of the guys that have, you know, risen or or fallen this year.
And doing a handful of trades this week, too, just realizing I need to like reframe.
Just completely reframe on some of these guys.
I need to update my software because we're six weeks in.
A lot of these guys have shown me like good football, the majority of these six weeks.
Or, you know, they're in a new role or on a new team.
And I need to think about what their actual value is.
So I wanted to throw some guys at you and just say like, okay, is this guy now in this range?
Do we need to think about them there, whatever we're trading for him?
Or, you know, even some of those dudes, they take a lot of work in your head to go, oh, this guy is a starter.
now he is putting up starter numbers like put him in the starting lineup quit throwing out jalen wattle
or whatever um as your third wide receiver and i'm speaking to myself there a little bit um so first one
first dude that has um really turned it around um and you know if the titans are throwing for
170 yards he's getting 80 of them each week uh carnell tape man he's been awesome um
for a decent stretch now.
I know there's some flatline weeks in there.
But Cardinal Tate doing it this early with that kind of target share on an
offense that sucks this bad, kind of tells me like there's way more up ahead.
And I'm not going to say he's like a wide receiver one, but I'm like, he's starting.
I'm putting him in the starting lineup every week for Carnell Tate.
So what's the reframe on Cardnell Tate six weeks into the season?
Yeah, given the context of playing with Cam Ward, Carnal Tate's been awesome.
He actually has 35% of Cam Ward's yards this year.
He's just soaking up literally all of the offense, over two yards per route run as well.
Again, all of these are above average peripherals in themselves,
but just the fact that it comes with one of the worst quarterbacks in the league is pretty telling that he is poised to potentially explode at some point.
I don't know if that means you go out and buy low because I still don't really like having players on bad offenses.
It's just something that concerns me overall, but has he been better than expected? Absolutely.
Yeah, I mean, he was, you know, I think we had him in, we have him in two of our three made of
just because he was like a sixth round pick.
And, you know, it's just making me reimagine, like, the possibilities for those teams
if he is going to do this as our wide receiver like four.
Another guy that we just talked about, but Jeremy Bernard,
how out over our skis do we need to get and how quickly do we need to do it with Bernard
if we are another good week?
in the pocket, like, heading out of this weekend where he's getting similar target shares.
Do we need to...
I don't know if there's any actionable items there besides just, like, yeah, you just change your whole season by adding Jeremy Bernard.
But rest of season, Jeremy Bernard outlook.
I think he's a weekly wide receiver three.
I think that's the floor scenario.
And that's exactly what he's shown us the past couple of games without Michael Pittman.
The Steelers, what's really helping this is that under McCarthy, they are leading the league in their pass rate over expectation.
So in a neutral situation, you know, one score game, like they are passing at the highest rate compared to every other team in that same situation.
So that continues to get this volume for D.K. Metcap and more importantly for this situation, Jeremy Bernard.
So I remain extremely high on him.
Similar question for Omar Cooper.
finally came back, finally played.
Where is he fitting in in terms of if you're sending offers for Omar Cooper?
If you're adding Omar Cooper, what can you expect?
Is it a wide receiver three?
I think his ceiling is wide receiver two just because I don't think,
non-zero chance.
I don't think, though, he can out-target Garrett Wilson every single week.
Loved what we've seen and the only two appearances this year,
as we talked about earlier.
although he does have a higher ceiling and a more wide open target tree than Jeremy
Bernard, which is why I say a top 24 player every week,
Garrett Wilson has still been incredible this year.
So I'm going to still cap Cooper's ceiling, but it's awesome so far.
We touched on it for a minute there earlier,
but the Packers kind of just looking for anything in the running game,
as everyone besides Pierre Strong has been so incredibly miserable.
But if Josh Jacobs is back and I've heard reports that he looks great, whatever that means,
you know, I don't know if he's been doing workouts in his backyard or what the rules are
there about training with the team during that time.
But if Josh Jacobs is, you know, let's say he's last year's Josh Jacobs with a shittier
offensive line and a team that doesn't run as much.
What does that mean for your team rest of the season?
Well, remember last year he got injured.
Emmanuel Wilson comes in and starts.
He had 30 touches in that one start for Josh Jacobs.
Josh Jacobs then comes back and it's just clear that he's going to play through his injury.
He's still injured.
He's on the injury report, but he's going to play through it.
And over the next month, the Packer still gave him 17 touches per game.
Didn't care.
I think that's what's going to happen with Jacobs back as early as this week.
They understand they have no real other option at running back.
So we're going to get right back to.
17 to 22 touches per week.
I hope Jordan Love and this offense continues to pass and dominate through the air
because that is what they do best with Matthew Golden and Christian Watson striving.
But Josh Jacobs is just going to be a weekly low-end or high-end RB2 based on volume alone
and really the landscape right now at running back.
When you get to RB20 on and you're having to rank Damien Pierce, Jalil McLaughlin,
like all these guys, you just, you start to realize, oh, this is why Kendry Miller's a top 24
running back because there aren't 24 running backs to rank.
Yeah.
Jalen Warren, I know we were all kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop with Rico Dowdle coming
back.
Well, he was back and the usage was still pretty nuts for Jalen Warren.
I know the raw numbers didn't quite deliver it as he had in the previous weeks, but I think we need to reframe
on what we thought about Jalen Warren as a you know I said last week on our little
truth or dare thing or true or false thing that he's going to be a you know top 10
running back rest of season I think you're pretty much on board but how quickly I don't see
I still I think the industry at large still kind of sees him as not in that range some I'm trying
to reframe quicker than everyone else.
So the usage actually did go down.
Jalen Warren handled 95% of Pittsburgh's backfield touches.
The average eight yards per touch, those three games as well.
Absolutely insane.
And it's three starts without Rico Dowdle.
But this past week with Dowdle back, Warren dropped to only 62% of backfield touches.
Fine, but not the elite usage that he warranted receiving while Dowdell was out.
The thing is, now is not the time to sell.
because you're selling a player who you just saw, quite literally,
a top three running back ceiling,
like higher ceiling than Christian McCaffery,
and selling now would entail getting back less than that
when it's a long season.
We're not even halfway through the fantasy year just yet,
and multiple things can happen,
including the team just eliminating Dowdell
and telling themselves,
we were winning and we were a more explosive offense
when Warren played more.
So Dowdell, sorry, but this has got to be worn
the rest of the way. I'm not going to
sell since we saw the ceiling. I'm going to hold.
No.
Colts wide receivers,
you know, it's gross to pick up
Keenan Allen and to throw them immediately
into your lineup whenever you need a
second flex position is hurting.
But it's worked out.
I think we need to reframe pretty quickly
on Keenan Allen and
in turn
in a negative way,
Josh Downs.
because I got really excited when Josh Downs started getting a lot of usage.
And the usage is still there.
It's just the targets aren't there.
And it's, I don't know, at this point, it's a tale as old as time of Keen Allen shows up and your slot receiver dies.
But, you know, what's your week six on thinking of Keenan Allen and his effect on, you know, Josh Downes?
Keenan's now made three appearances without Alec Pierce
and in those three games he's earned more targets than Josh Downs
he scored more fantasy points than Josh Downs
he's even had more expected fantasy points than Josh Downs
because the role is better for Keenan Allen who in those three starts
was the wide receiver 24
a top wide receiver you basically start in 10 team leagues
as a top two options so yeah Keenan Allen I
think is the better player than Josh Downs for fantasy right now. And we are unfortunately in the
territory where this is why Josh Downs never played more is because playing him more has now
potentially exploited him and we see that he couldn't play more. Not always the case. Sometimes
you're just like Parker Washington J. Linol and when you play more, you deserve to play more.
But right now it is not going well for Josh Downs.
The next one, I'm just going to ask you straight up.
Is Travis Hunter about to take Brian Thomas Jr.'s routes after the buy?
Oh, I think it's already happening.
I can't suggest dropping Brian Thomas Jr.
Because he could potentially be traded.
And unlike Marvin Harrison Jr., BTJs actually has shown a ceiling.
It was with Mac Jones because at the end of the year when the Jaggars were already out of it.
But we have seen BTJ's ceiling, and it's a good one if it all clicks.
But Travis Hunter, I believe we talked about this before the year when everyone was riding him off.
And I was taking him at the end of best ball leagues, which you don't have to set the lineup.
It's not a start and sit headache you have to worry about.
But you got to remember, like Travis Hunter was the number one recruit out of high school, right?
In the entire nation, despite playing wide receiver and cornerback, the number one overall recruit.
Then in college, he only chose Colorado because of the most NIL money, not,
highest college he was recruited to.
He could have played anywhere in the SEC too.
He chose Colorado for the money.
And then he won the Heisman,
Best Wide Receiver, Blitnikoff Award,
and the award for the nation's best cornerback as an All-American.
Like Travis Hunter, for the last five years of his life,
has already been the best football player any field he stepped on.
So to think that suddenly he didn't have upside
has always been one of the most insane thought processes
as anyone could ever have.
He's Travis freaking Hunter.
So is he about to take over this role from BTJ?
I would argue it's already happening.
We've now seen the last two games before Jacksonville went on by
that Travis Hunter, he's only ran 11 routes in that time,
but they've designed a target on 45% of those 11 routes.
When he's on the field, he plays.
As opposed to the last two weeks,
Brian Thomas Jr. doesn't have a single catch.
They don't even care anymore.
So, you know, hopefully he's traded and released BTJ.
Otherwise, I just don't think it matters.
Like, this is Travis Hunter as the team's wide receiver three or four, the rest of the way.
Yeah.
I mean, it could be exciting in two ways if he's a chief, you know, midweek next week.
And then Travis Hunter can just step into that role full time without any kind of complications.
No doing of his own.
but I've seen enough George Halani and Emmanuel Wilson and Valis Jones to make me think a little bit
differently about Zach Charbonnet the rest of season and just like he can't be as bad as those
guys right like he's going to be a pretty solid like low in RB2 maybe so how are we feeling
about Zach Charbonnet because I mean there was already people were on to this early I'll give
everyone credit everyone was like well just wait till Zach Sharpenet comes back but yeah I mean I
it's it's an early call and a like drumbeat of correct call that it's happened with Zach
Charmone throughout the rest of the season since Jerry and Price got hurt so where does
Charbonnet fit in?
My concern is still the same in that, like Quinchon Junkins and Cam Scataboo, I think coming
back from a serious injury could lead Charbonnet to be completely inefficient and effective.
Having said that, Judarian Price already got benched when Charbonnet wasn't even available,
and Charbonnet is still the player that the same coaching staff split carries with all season
long with the Super Bowl MVP eventually, because that's how much they love Charbonnet, also as a
short line goal runner. So I think Charbonnet is good and safe for those 16 weekly touches as
an RB2. I just genuinely don't know what you're going to get from them, because it's a wide
range of outcomes that includes being explosive or honestly 45 yards of cloud of dust, maybe a
touchdown per week.
Mm-hmm.
Colston Loveland, I think he's one of those dudes that whenever it started,
we started getting the green arrows up.
We needed to adjust as quickly as possible.
Maybe we never, you know, maybe we never dipped him.
Maybe we never knocked him.
And I was kind of there.
I was like, yeah, man, if you want to call him like RV6, that's cool.
That's fine.
Maybe he's not RB3 anymore.
But, you know, people were all the way out on Colston Loveland.
Now I'm just going, yeah, man, RB3 rest of season.
We're here.
So how quickly do we need to jump back on the Colson-Levelin train
and how high are we ranking Colson-Levelin week-to-week?
Yeah, we already talked about it.
Tied in 32 and Target share his first three games.
Last three games, tied in nine.
He's tied in one every single week.
He left a couple touchdowns on the board.
It's very clearly wheels up from here, not worried about Colston-Levelin.
Hopefully we can stop talking about him finally.
now that the thing that happened finally,
the thing we projected to happen,
finally happened,
even though I was not worried about it at all,
I was still starting them every single week.
Yeah.
Another guy,
very similar story this year,
but he's done this a handful of times.
When Kyle Pitts starts heating up,
start paying attention and believe it.
Obviously, it's very touchdown-based,
but, you know,
Kyle Pitts is either the worst tight-in
that ever played football or, you know, just a fantasy scam and breaking all leagues.
There's really no in between ever.
So Kyle Pitts is on a heater right now.
How quickly do we need to adjust and how high do we need to rank him?
So really taken away from Bejohn Robinson, too, who was second in target share among all
running backs from anyone with Michael Pennix.
And now these past couple of games, Kyle Pitts is second on the team, 19% target share behind
Drake, London, Bijon all the way down at 12%, not getting as many opportunities through the air.
Kyle Pitts is fine.
I, you know, I believe he was actually, was he the overall tied-in one last week?
As crazy as I say.
It wasn't a big tight-in week.
I think he had two touchdowns.
Kid all only had one.
No, he was the tied-in two.
Isaiah likely had 0.9 more points than Kyle Pitts, which, again,
insane. Cowpitt's also out exceeded expectations by a wide margin. He scored 10 more points than he
expected to based on that usage. So I don't think it ticks around, but am I writing him off completely?
Like if he's on a waiver wire, it's such a, for those who stream every week, just drop a
tie-in and pick one up. It's so bare this week that if Cowbitts were out there, I'm picking him up,
but I don't believe long-term he has as much upside as Terrence Ferguson or even
like Chig O'Conco, when O'Conco returns from by in week eight,
the last two games with all these injuries happening and now McLaurin out for the year,
O'Conco earned 26% and 20% of Washington's targets.
So I think Chig O'Conco returns from Washington's buy as like also a low and tight and won the rest of the way.
Yeah, I think you ran 45 routes last night.
He led all their players in routes to run whenever McLaren left.
Absolutely nuts.
The player that is like, it's just constant.
comical how different he gets talked about and thought of in dynasty leagues first redraft leagues
is Trevianne Henderson.
The dynasty leagues are like, yeah, I won't accept anything but a first form still.
And then redraft, you're like, cut him.
But it just feels like another wasted season for Trevianne Henderson.
And I think we need to wake up and adjust to it.
And I might have said the same thing last year.
Actually, last year I didn't.
Last year I had way more patience for Trevianne Henderson.
I was telling everybody, chill, hold on to him.
It's all good, waited out.
And he had a nice boom month there.
But, man, is this just a dead season for Treviant Henderson?
Yes, unfortunately.
Remandre Stevenson completely ineffective.
did 2.6 yards per carry this past game.
So they give the ball to Shreveon like they did against the Steelers
in Trevian's first game of the year.
I believe it was week two.
And he explodes because they just need juice.
But when they gave the ball to Henderson this past week,
he fumbled in third quarter at the goal line.
That is a big no-no.
Funny enough, it's only a big no-no for Mike Brable
unless it's from Andre Stevenson.
When Stevenson fumbles, they don't care.
But when Henderson fumbles,
they think it's the biggest deal in the world.
Thus, because then they hate two running backs.
They went to third stringer Corey Kiner.
And I don't know if you noticed, but on their final scoring drive,
the Patriots handed the ball to Corey Kiner eight plays in a row.
That's how much they trust him to ice the game.
So it's not just that Henderson season could be over.
It's the fact that it could be a three-headed committee
with Stevenson and Henderson moving forward,
which is an absolute mess because you couldn't start Henderson already any.
anyhow. So yes, I am worried about Henderson's season the rest of the way.
Similar question.
Guy that I had big hopes for.
I had seen what the Lord had done for others, and I wanted him to do that for me.
Apparently Mike McDaniel doesn't know jack shit.
And it was just a scam with Tyree Kill the entire time because Ladd McConkey just, man, he
can't play a quarter of football without getting hurt.
And then when he's on the field, they use him.
But are we just looking at a season where you're just like, yeah, this thing's over.
The value is gone.
He's got to retrench anything, any kind of dynasty value moving forward starting during
the off season because he is right now an awful pick.
And it's almost entirely injury based.
it is funny that just like
Christian McCaffrey
needing the substation to stay healthy
Mike McDaniel and Tua
Tung of Iowa need each other
to be successful because when they're separated
it is an absolute travesty
for both individuals
having said that
Ladd McConkey the easy answer is he's played
45% of snaps this year
that's it I don't know
in either direction if he's a good or bad pick because he's been injured and it's all been,
I think the encouraging thing, if you want to spend glass half full here, they've all been
random and separate injuries. They haven't been related whatsoever. He's just come back and then
gotten re-injured for some other reason this past week was a concussion. Now there's a buy for him
to rest up more. So I still think he's in the by low, extremely low range as opposed to
being worried about him.
That doesn't make me feel better for a guy that basically didn't get drafted super
high because he didn't play a lot of games in college.
That is true, yeah.
We haven't seen him play this year.
Yeah.
Did I hear that they want to release Tua?
The Falcon signed Andy Dalton.
Yeah.
Like, are they going to Andy Dalton gets ramped up and they're going to release Tua?
Probably.
So what, Tua is two was a?
to his box score in 2026 will go down as two pass,
one of two with one pick.
That's beautiful, man.
Perfect.
I mean, that's kind of what Andy Dalton's is right now.
He threw that one pass filling in for the hurts.
He did all because Nick Siriani was too busy calling the Bears Pussies.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's throw a pass from the one yard line with our backup quarterback coming in.
Cold is piss.
It's just like run the ball, you dumbass.
All right.
let's get the Teddy ball games favorite part of the show and I'm going to sneak in to grade the
trade here off the top if you want to tail our moves I'll tell them to you every week I don't give
a shit like it's all good but I uh this was this is in a league um there's a league that Chuck
runs and it's a bunch of buddies from Austin and they're really difficult to get to pay attention
and get locked in on shit um but there's a couple that are like perpetually rebuilding um
And this was an offer from me to one of the perpetually rebuilding guys.
And just full transparency, I'd sent it to him a week earlier, I think.
I texted him that, hey, man, you have an offer.
Check it out if you want to.
Waited about four or five days.
Texted him again was just like, hey, brother, welfare check.
You okay?
And he didn't even respond to the.
text, he just hit accept on the trade.
And I was like, oh shit, there was a trade up.
And then he was like, I was like, oh, I guess you like that trade.
He's like, yeah, all good.
So anyway, I'm sending Devon, this is Dynasty, Dynasty,
Dynasty Superflex, tight-in premium.
I'm sending Devon A. Chan, who is out for this season and is still a dolphin,
Harold Fanon, for Mike Evans.
Colston Loveland and Alec Pierce.
Great trade Daigle.
Do you have a win now team?
I do, absolutely.
I can read the rest of the team if you'll be sure.
No, I just think that's exactly what I knew it by looking at what you're getting back for Dynasty
because Mike Evans is a win now player.
One of the best wide receivers we talked about last weekend ever he's healthy.
He's not going to play this week because he got injured.
Apparently Achilles soreness,
luckily didn't tear anything.
And the Niners, yeah, the Niners are on by in week eight.
So we're just all assuming Mike Evans is going to rest up for the next 21 days of his life.
And instead, the Niners are going to start Christian Kirk and Brandon Cooks and two wide receiver sets.
That's how far the star is fallen.
But Evans, Colston Loveland, Alec Pierce, although I still doubt, I personally don't think
Alec Pierce is coming back this year.
They've been really ominous about his timeline.
And so, yeah, Evans and Colston.
and Loveland, totally fine. Devon A. Chan, Harold Fanon, long term, perfectly fine.
A. Chan, you know, he's going to have such a long time to recover before week one next year.
He's basically going to be like Malik neighbors and come back at full strength. So, yeah, I mean,
I think that's a win-win trade for both teams. Yeah, this is on a team that I have Josh Allen,
Jaden Daniels, uh, Jeremiah, I love, uh, Devante Smith, neighbors, Derek Henry, Buckie Irving.
Like it's a pretty old, old team that I traded all my picks to get Jeremiah I love as my,
as my bridge player last year.
And that's not going super well, but I'm going to wait him out.
He got time, brother.
Just grow.
Just grow into your role.
We'll be all right.
I'll be here waiting whenever you want to hit my starting lineup.
This year would be cool.
It'd be cool if you wanted to do it this year.
But next year is fine too.
Okay, buys and sells.
these were a little bit more difficult for me because,
I don't know, the lower in guy,
there just aren't, I don't know.
And trying to send offers for dudes that are about to pop
or you think you have whatever,
like I was just having a difficult time
because I don't think you can fool anybody right now.
But I did find some.
There are two teams right now
that I think have very high aspirations for their season
in their offense as a whole that are two and four.
And there are two teams that haven't run the ball particularly well.
And there are two teams that have fucked around quite a bit on offense.
And I think what's about to happen for the Cowboys is I don't think they can bring in an offensive consultant after they brought in a defensive consultant.
But if they were to bring in an offensive consultant, you're going to bring in somebody that's going to tell them to run the fucking football and establish it.
And Giovanteau Williams has not been used and the running game has not been used.
in quite the same way it was last year.
And I think they're going to come out of this little, you know,
come to Jesus week that they're having right now
after having two dog shit offensive games and say,
we need to run it.
And then Karen Williams had some comments in the post game after the Rams had
one of the most embarrassing losses.
And I was like, Rams, what are you doing?
That's the Cowboys' Roll.
We're supposed to get our ass peep by the Cardinals.
What are you doing, guys?
But they got dog walked by the Cardinals who didn't have to score an offensive
touchdown to beat the Rams.
seems like a crime.
And Karen Williams wasn't happy
and wasn't quite getting the usage that he was like two weeks earlier.
So I think he's a squeaky wheel
and I think they're going to want to establish it as well.
That's kind of the trip whenever coaches start getting their hands slapped
and they start season two and four, it's like, I got there.
I've solved it.
Let's run.
So those two guys seem like there's a lot of
underutilized or untapped potential and upside.
And so I like asking on Giovante Williams or like asking on Kyron Williams right now.
The next guy who's about to get a quarterback upgrade who has kind of dipped,
you know, Zay Flowers has been fine, but he's dipped because Tyler Huntley is Tyler Huntley.
If you can get Zay Flowers at last two weeks prices or somewhere between, you know,
week four to now evaluation go get zayflowers that's that's my read on that one is if you can get
any kind of discount from where zayflowers was heading out of week four likewise with derrick henry
he makes my list he's had obviously two really bad weeks inefficient weeks but that offense
is about to look a lot different whenever lamar gets back um and
yeah, I can just see
it's not DeHember yet, but it's
right around the, right around the corner.
Tucker Kraft, I think
he looked awesome against the
Cowboys, and I think he's
about physically
back, and I think he's just going to get better as
the season goes on. So
I think
what's limited
Tucker Craft
to some extent is
them having zero
ability to run the football.
I think if they get Josh Jacobs
in there and they can at least threaten running the football.
They can do some nice play action stuff to Tucker Kraft and get him on the move.
I think it's just arrows up for Tucker Kraft rest of season.
He might enter the top seven-ish conversation of tied in.
Maybe if you're lucky top five.
And Dallas Goddard as well.
Just it's annoying, but it's like annoyingly consistent.
Dallas got her every season when he's healthy.
And without Jalen Hertz, you're going to put a,
you're going to shift all these buttons.
This pie is about to get divided in a different way,
which the Eagles are about to start throwing the football,
quite a bit more, I think,
than they would with Jalen Hertz.
Or at least there'll be more passing, actual passing plays that happen.
And, yeah, I mean, they can't all go to Devante Smith.
I think Dallas Goders are going to be a bit of a safety blanket for Tanner Rakeet or Joe
Milton pretty quickly.
So Dallas Goddard for a little, take this fifth wide receiver I got.
I need a tight end.
Or maybe if you're an FFPC, it's tied in premium.
I'm targeting Dallas Goddard as well.
Who you got for your buys, John.
I will, I'll package that up because I would like to buy and going to try to buy
Devontas Smith, who came back this week and with Tanner McKee, although it didn't go
Well, I think it's because a backup quarterback who surprisingly started, Jalen Hertz,
was supposed to miss only a few games.
Suddenly now, Tanner McKee's eyeing potentially starting for the entire year if he plays well.
And then against a good Panthers pass rush, averaged only 4.7 yards per attempt.
But Tanner McKee did target DeVont de Smith on 46% of his routes.
Only three wide receivers finished with 20 expected points this week.
That was Malik Neighbors, Matthew Golden, who everyone watched on primetime and Sunday night, and Devontas Smith.
So given that the Eagles, the same reason you're targeting Dallas Goddard, and that the Eagles actually have the easiest projected schedule of opposing past defenses the rest of the season, I want to be ahead of this.
And I think Tanner McKee can actually have success.
He's a player that they talked about, remember, even potentially being the future whenever Jalen Hurts' contract was up.
eventually anyhow. Maybe the limelight has has shined a little less in that time,
but I think there's real development reps, developmental reps that are going to happen here,
and they're going to see what they have in Tanner McKee. So I really like DeVant Smith buying him
low. Dahlton Kade is another one where you can't get Colston-Levelin low anymore,
but you can still get Kincaid low. I think everyone's over it when the last couple weeks,
though, what we've seen is very promising. Two weeks ago, Monday night, one catcher
yards, but hit a season-high route share.
One week ago, before the bills went on by, it was out without D.J. Moore,
but Dotskin-Kade actually led the bills and targets overall.
On the season, he's still third among all tight ends and yards per outrun.
Again, everyone's sick of it.
They don't care about the usage rates and the peripherals behind the scenes.
You can trade for him when I still think he's a top 12 tight end the rest of the season.
Love D'Altskin and then, of course.
They're on by this week and it's one of those things where it's like you get like a couple
negative inputs and then a buy and someone's like yeah tired of this shit like that's the kind of deal
you can get and then uh we talk about him every week i think this is going to be the last week to buy
basal toot and low you probably can't even bomb low anymore the touchdown regression hit a couple
weeks ago a season high 92% of the team's backfield carries because they basically eliminated
chris hardriguez amir abdulah and the quint allen from the equation christ rodriguez you know at
I think for a variety of reasons,
not only because it's a tough division game
against the Texans where you have to instill will
and physicality against them,
which is why Chris Rodriguez pops up for double-digit carries,
but also just the fact that they're trying to burn clock two.
Regardless, Chris Rodriguez did have double-digit carries,
and it didn't matter this past week.
Basil Tuton still scored two receiving touchdowns
because that's the kind of all-around upside he has.
So now that the Jaguar is going to return,
turn against a much easier schedule for the rest of the season after they're by,
the gotlet's over with.
It's all smooth sailing for the Jaguars now.
So the last week, I believe, to buy Bejel Tootin Low.
Yeah, did you see his end zone dance?
I did, yes.
And by the way, I spent many hours in bed with my girlfriend rolling over being like,
oh, wow, look at this, the Charlie Kirk tiptoe in my Jordans.
Oh, look at the.
Sophie Cunningham tiptoeing in my Jordans.
I've seen every spinoff imaginable because once the algorithm gets going,
it knows I'm going to spend many minutes watching all of those AI, you know, slop.
Yeah, by the way, I didn't mention it right off the top because we were talking about other stuff.
But did you catch wind of the theme music for the Derek Carr, David Carr podcast?
No, I didn't even know there was a dare.
I didn't know either, but it makes sense, right?
Like, it makes sense, which it's the most moronic podcast.
Like, I thought quarterbacks were smart, but it's basically just two grown men grunting at each other.
I can't remember the name of it.
It's something stupid.
It's not even a funny name or, like, fun player or, like, even like the Kelsey Brothers thing creative.
But everyone was posting this because it was, they're, like, signing off.
They're in their studio.
You're like,
Derek Carr,
thanks guys,
see you next week.
And like this logo pops up.
And it's,
I'm sure you've heard the
We Are Charlie Kirk song
at some point in your existence.
It was a spoof on the
We Are Charlie Kirk song,
but it was We Are Derek Carr.
And it was lyrics about Derek Carr's career.
But as the,
we are Derek Carr.
So it wasn't a spoof.
Like Derek Carr,
probably thought that was cool.
Like he thought that was awesome.
Yeah, he's probably unironically.
Correct.
Yeah.
So not a spoof.
He wanted that.
Yeah, he was like,
this is the coolest song I've ever heard of.
Perfect.
I love that.
I love that so much for many different reasons.
Can you make one with me being the subject?
That would make my day.
Speaking of former Derek Carr teams,
the Saints, my cells,
let's start the cells.
Sorry, we're getting to the cells.
got off track there for a minute.
We'll wrap it up.
My sales this week.
I would like off to Tyler Shuck roller coaster.
And one of the main reasons I put it on here is because I did just trade Tyler Shuck.
Dynasty League, one quarterback league.
I got somebody to commit a 28 second to Tyler Shuck.
And I'm in a full rebuild.
and I was like, yes, thank you, bye.
See you later.
One QB leagues, like if, I've said this a million times, but one QB leagues or in leagues
where, that are super flex and you just don't, you know, you don't see it with this quarterback.
If someone starts supplying any kind of value to this quarterback, like, see that deal through.
But the Tyler Shuck thing is a goddamn roller coaster, man, three touchdowns last week when I think he completed all of,
was it 11 or 16 passes?
and I think it was 11 passes for like 160 yards or something like that.
It was an awful performance.
We scored three touchdowns and ran for one in a fierce comeback effort.
And it was just, yeah, the week before it was a negative score.
And they are just so game script dependent.
And if they can't run their, you know, going turbo offense,
I've run in 75 plays a week if the other team imposes their will in any way.
Like Tyler Shucks is just kind of useless.
But it's what makes the Saints offense fun right now is they're going to play basically two extra games this year in terms of offensive snaps because they run in such a high pace.
The other guy I'm really nervous about and would like to get off of before this, we're going to sit them down for a week or two or whatever the hell is going on.
Ashton Gentee has been pretty, pretty bad the last two weeks.
I think he's sub three yards per carry.
And I'm just a little worried, a little worried about our buddy.
I obviously like the receiving work, but if this is a team that has long-term aspirations
of maybe making the playoffs at some point,
I think Genti either needs to sit down or they need to find a different kind of rushing attack
because he's not really getting it.
And it's been a little while now.
So I'd like to sell Gentie before some bad news comes or before the ineffectiveness
catches up to him in terms of splitting the backfield even more.
And then likewise, the RJ Harvey PPR scam, it got back to work last week, which is lucky
because I thought it might be over.
But this is your cell window.
This is exactly your cell window right now.
So if you can get off RJ Harvey for somebody that you see him work,
expanded role or somebody that's coming back from my R or maybe it's
common ungui or something like that um you know I would I would advise doing that
like them all and I had just have only one this week as again more focused about uh buying
still low players who have ceilings but for selling I do think it's an interesting time to get
off of tetaroa McMillan and just see what you can get back in return
maybe even a running back.
Someone like Jeremiah Love,
who I believe will return and be just fine long term.
But for McMillan,
we had the one game against the Lions,
the best match at possible.
They were literally down to their four-string safety in that game,
missing both starting cornerbacks.
Teddron McMillan, without Jalen Coker,
earns 41% of the team's targets.
Everyone remembers in prime time.
He absolutely goes nuclear.
And the other four starts, though,
that McMillan has played,
it wasn't 41% target.
share. It was a meandering 23% target share because Jalen Coker is actually out targeted him as the
better wide receiver fantasy. That doesn't mean it's going to hold, but that's the range of outcomes
weekly for McMillan that he might not even be the own wide receiver one on his own team
on any given Sunday. And because of that, I think you can still trade, you know, what people
have seen from him so far for a more relevant position. So I don't mind getting off of McMillan.
Yeah, with those two dudes, I'm interested in both, almost like, depending on what your roster is, both ways, because Koker has gotten more targets.
And just, like, all the peripherals say, like, yeah, Koker's just, like, been slightly better.
But then the thing about Jalen Koker is that he's always hurt or been consistently hurt in his pro career and I think his college career.
So it's like, it's, you, you do all this like spider diagram stuff of like, you know,
target share and this or that.
And then it's like, you know, the injury one for cocker's up here.
And Ted just plays every single time.
And so, I mean, it's a fascinating.
It's a fascinating wide receiver group.
It's also opposite for the Eagles.
Like we talked about the Eagles having the easiest schedule now,
passing defenses the rest of the way.
Over the next month, like it's time now, whereas the Jaguars were clear from
the gauntlet. It's time for the Panthers to go through their gauntlet because they have the
toughest schedule for quarterbacks, passing defenses over the next month. So we're really about
to see, did Bryce Young get better or did he just play the Falcons, Bears, and Lions? Like, we're
really about to find out, and I still fear the worst for that offense. Yeah. Yeah. It's not quite
the heights that like the Colts got to last year, where it was.
they're setting EPA per play records the first nine weeks the Colts season last year.
But everyone was watching that and going like, that's great.
That's adorable.
Y'all aren't making the playoffs like with the Colts.
And I don't quite feel that way with the Panthers just because I don't know why.
I can't explain why.
Like, it's not that dissimilar of a situation.
But I kind of, like, believe in the Panthers.
They haven't shown me anything in your reason, like, not believe in their offense as of right now.
But as soon as they start to, I'm going to go, oh, yeah, I remember.
I remember Bryce Young.
I remember this Bryce Young.
Bryce Young is one game away, one, like, awful, like, dog shit game away from reminding me of what Bryce Young can look like for months at a time.
So hopefully it doesn't drag Tet.
Coker down with him and hopefully Coker stays healthy because they are a really new, fun team
within, you know, an okay defense, but a defense that lets points so they have to crank those
games up and get some points going. So, well, awesome, man. This has been really fun. Appreciate your
time. As I mentioned every week, if you don't have a subby to establish the run, you're doing this
wrong. Go over there and get you on, especially if you're into football.
but they just started their basketball coverage as well.
I know tonight is opening night.
I'm not a basketball enjoyer anymore in my life,
so I can't tell you who's playing or what's going on,
but they can.
They can help you.
They can win you some leagues over there
in your fantasy basketball leagues.
But yeah, go support Daigle, support Evans, support Levittan.
They got a great crew, and they do the best work week to week
that is out there, establish the run.
So please, please go get a special.
subby tap in that way and thank you to our friends over at the dumb zone for having us on
their YouTube channel dan and jake are the best um and uh saw jake did do stand up last Friday which
was uh he was awesome he was really really good uh but i was it was so nerve-racking for me it was
so i will definitely catch it when i'm in town for the holidays i'm going to make that happen because
i know he pops up everywhere now yeah yeah he tries to do something almost every week um but it was
awesome. It was really good. He was, he was, he was very good. It was just, like, watching your
brother go out there and, like, start his first game at quarterback or something where you're like,
but yeah, awesome, man. Thank you for your time. Have a great week. Hopefully you got more
three and three, four and two, five and one teams than the other way. It's, it's evened out.
It was a rough, like, two, three weeks, but now I think every single team I'm involved with is
at least a two and four.
or three and three.
We're calling back, man.
Well, good luck.
All right, brother.
Have a good one.
