Now on to today's program.
So this last one is just Jerry seeing how other teams have having some success and he he wants in on it too.
I don't even know that I am thinking about which side of the line he was playing on to tell you the truth coach.
As far as left for right I'm not trying which side of the line he was playing on to tell you the truth coach as far as left for Ryker
I'm not trying to mean your question
But I'm just saying this guy now maybe out look farther out the boy inside
You put him in there with that big BB and you put him in there with Tyler
Yeah, okay. Yeah big old BB. I have a bunch of questions one. I don't think he knows which side
Booker played on in college. He did play both, but he was primarily a left guard. But he's like, I don't know, both.
Left, right, it's a guard. Now, don't get crazy. We're not gonna put him further out there.
We know you mean tackle. Nobody thought you meant slot.
Just say tackle. And then I want to observe a change in the way that,
because he was saying, he was saying like, Cooper BB.
And now he's saying, BB.
Didn't that sound different?
But I'm just saying this guy, now maybe out,
look farther out, the boy inside,
you put him in there with that big BB,
and you put him in there. That big BB. BB. You put him in there with that big BB and you put him in there with that big BB
and you put him in there with Tyler.
And we might be able to tush push.
Yeah.
Jep Holden, Blackboard.
Man, that's great.
You know he just wanted to say it.
Yeah.
To push push.
Yeah.
It's all it's part like, what's that weird, like, uh, sort of a feet sign of sort of feminine
sounding thing that like Southern white guys somehow slip into every now and then, you know?
Yeah.
That's what that is.
I would use a t-ush.
Might be able to tush push.
That's great.
Well, I got a little draft audio.
So this is from the category of when there's a sports story so
big that regular news anchors
have to start talking about the sports story.
Great bit.
So that's the NFL Draft.
And every morning I watch a news segment called 5 Things.
It's CNN's 5 Things.
It's on HBO Max.
And it kind of popped up one morning and I just thought, oh, okay, let me click on this.
Oh, five minutes and I can get all the day's news. Sign me up. Then I can go do the important stuff. Read the athletic and read about
sports. So they'll have five things and it's always like three political things or world events.
And then they start to fade out, but it's exactly like a regular news program where at the end we're going with the fluff
Mm-hmm, and so usually it's a this
orangutan who can also
juggle or it's a
fashion show yeah, or it's a
potato chip that looks like something
Something really offbeat is the fifth thing.
And today, the fifth thing is going to be the NFL Draft.
She's excited about it.
With the lovely Kate Baldwin is her name.
Oh my gosh.
I'm in love with Kate Baldwin.
I'm in love with whoever I watch on TV.
Just know that.
One last thing on this Fine Friday.
Are you ready for some football? The answer is always yes, just know that. One last thing on this Fine Friday. Are you ready for some football?
The answer is always yes, by the way.
There's no other option.
Still, I'll ask it.
The three day Pigskinapalooza, known as the NFL Draft,
is underway in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The first round kicked off last night
with Miami quarterback, Kam Ward,
going to the Tennessee Titans.
Why are you talking like this?
Wow.
I think I should be an announcer for this.
I'm just saying.
This wild event is expected to draw a crowd
of over 200,000 fans to Lambeau Field.
Green Bay is the league's smallest market,
the population of Green Bay, about 105,000.
When it all wraps Saturday,
257 college players will be drafted,
new stars born, new legacies launched.
The last guy to be selected in the draft is affectionately
Nicknamed Mr. Mr. Irrelevant
Which comes from with comes with a week-long celebration in Newport Beach, California
And he's given the Lozman Trophy intended to be the exact opposite of the Heisman
Hysterical if you're feeling bad for that sad sap, do not. One of the most recent Mr. Irrelevance is
Brock Purdy, the same Brock Purdy who has led the 49ers to the Super Bowl. Said another way,
doing just fine. Happy Friday guys. I'm Kate Baldwin. Those are the five things you need to know to get your day going.
Now, why does this exist?
Why did that just happen?
It's that same upbeat, wacky energy for five stories, even when it's, you know,
24 children and women were killed in Gaza.
They actually buried the ambulance with the workers right there underneath the ground.
Number two, the Pope! Pope is dead.
It's kind of loud.
Still dead.
Cardinals gotta pick a new one.
Speaking of, Cardinals took a defensive end.
Our guest, our sit-in today, from Indiana, right?
Is that what you said?
I went to school there, yeah.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah.
This woman, Kate Baldwin, Baldwin, Baldwin, from Goshen, Indiana.
No idea.
No idea.
She's supposed to be a very small town.
Yeah. Kind of looks like Melissa Stark.
Kind of.
Yeah, that's a very, that's a waste of space.
And I just love notes, like that Newport Beach.
Did you guys have any idea there was a week long celebration
and the Lozman?
No.
Never have heard of that in my life.
All that is, it's like a press release that got to a producer her one-minute
Thing on the NFL draft last night dealt with half of it dealt with that this fact that none of us even knew
So now we go to Fox 4 is good day
And they had sports lady in I think she is involved with sports. I don't know her
She's not Sam Gannon and
it wasn't Mike Ducey so they had a black girl who's given some sports update
thing about the NFL draft and then they're gonna throw it back to the
regular host Shannon Murray is it Murray and then Lauren Prisbell Prisbell and
Lauren is the one I think guilty here of just trying to have a little sports small talk
That I don't know. I enjoyed it
Well, the Cowboys linebacker Michael Parsons is looking forward to playing alongside the rookie
So on social media, he said he was hyped to hear Booker talk about his love for the game
Now the Cowboys need to fill a wide receiver running
in cornerback position.
The Cowboys, by the way, have the 44th overall pick
in the second round and 76th overall pick
in the third round tonight.
So hopefully they can turn things around after last season.
But I'm excited for this one.
We all should be too.
Yeah.
And you know, and anyone who's as excited as he sounded
to come to the team
I think that's a that's a good good sign good start to the season. You like it. Yeah, let's go. All right
So I just kind of like the anyone who is that excited and like come to the team
I mean having excitement usually does translate into being a good player
And who would be excited on the first round of the NFL draft when you find out you're now going to become a millionaire.
