One little football note doesn't really fit.
Oh, whatever.
But I just saw this this morning, like, that the Cardinals,
there's a lot of buzz about they're done with Kyler Murray.
What's his contract
Sitch right now?
What I read is that
his contract situation
actually,
the way it's laid out,
is that if they trade him
this off season,
they would have more cap savings
than dead money
if they trade
than if they just let him go.
So would they trade,
would they try to trade him this off season?
And if so,
do you think,
What are people giving up for Kyler Murray?
Well, I would have to know what the other team was going to have to pay.
It sounds like not as much.
Because this is not the Russell Wilson who has shown, you know, he's won Super Bowl, MVP level play,
Aaron Rogers, Tom Brady.
These aren't conquering champions going to go somewhere else and try to do it again.
No, this is Baker.
if that even
uh you know
I think we're being a little bit
generous to Baker's Cleveland career
because they you want a playoff game screwed it up
yeah okay but you're
Kyleer really is
Kyler Murray has not been that bad he's just
mid to blow mid
but so was Baker dude like there's no
and it's not like the world was lining up to sign Baker
Mayfield no to start
like he's he deserves credit i'm not shitting on him he deserves credit for remaking his
career and sticking with it this is the part where i'm not sure keiler wants to do that
you know baker he's it's it's yeah baker was jumping on another yeah well baker never got
that second contract keiler did that's a good point so baker was still searching
baker should have i'm just saying baker was with the browns the most
inept organization in sports.
Not that Arizona is that far ahead of them.
Not too far.
But they at least said this is the quarterback.
Probably can't do a lot better than him.
He's pretty good.
Let's keep him.
And let's lock him up.
And I'm sure if you looked at Kyler's deal right now,
it doesn't look insane as far as out of the market value.
No, it's not.
And neither would Baker's had he done his with Cleveland at that time.
I don't know.
It's just interesting.
It is interesting.
I wonder if quarterback's moving here.
I don't think a team would be giving up a ton, but they'd be doing the Cardinals a favor.
So let's say they gave up like a third, but you only have to pay like half of his salary
or something because the Cardinals are paying the other half.
That sounds like a great situation to me for about 10 teams in the league.
Like there's got to be – I don't think he wants to be a backup.
No, and I wouldn't see him – would you see him as a good mentor to the young quarterback that you've brought in?
No, to me.
And again, that's – to be a backup, you're –
you've got to be that, almost certainly,
unless you have a super veteran quarterback.
But, you know, I like these type of stories, though.
I still like watching the guy play.
And if two years from now he was the Brown's quarterback
or the Dolphins quarterback and they went on a little run,
I wouldn't rule it out.
What's up with the Dolphins?
Who knows, dude?
They're kind of winning some games now.
well i hope they stick with their coach um but their quarterback i'm pretty over yeah they might be tied
together though because the coach is the one who said you got to lock this guy up yeah it's tricky
but uh here's the thing the cowboys are like in the top 10 of like clarity in their situations
right now in the NFL like their coach is not getting fired can we all agree that we made it
Thanksgiving.
May the past Thanksgiving.
You guys begrudgingly have to admit, like, they've got a coaching staff now.
They've got a young group of players.
They got a lot of picks.
Guys, who's got it better than us?
No one.
You want to do a monthly review of the business we've done?
I've been waiting all day for a Tuesday afternoon.
It's that time of the month.
It's time for the dumb zones.
Monthly Business Review.
And now the king of all note takers, here's Blake Jones.
This has a sponsor.
Connie Roso.
How about that?
Brings us our NBR every month now.
The home of the monthly Subby-42 game.
They are also, oh, excuse me, pull that down, pull that down, pull this down, and pull this down.
You have so many options with Coney Roso and the PILF group, Dan.
Yeah, well, they cater our football streams.
We're going with Zoli's this week.
But Conneroso, the goat.
The best, Jerry.
You know how they eat pizza in Italy?
Go to Canne Roso.
Yeah.
This is a good one if you do have people coming in town to know.
You know what I mean?
Like, oh, we're going to go.
Pizza in Dallas?
Okay.
This is Dallas.
Let me tell you.
It's the best pizza here.
Yeah.
So a little bit of housekeeping here.
in the NBR, I was sent this idea from Nathan, who said, we could crowdsource some of our social
media duties in that we always try to, whether it's the Sydney-Sweeney meme going around, my
favorite one right now is the Georgia Bulldog barking at like a picture of a hot woman.
I haven't seen that.
Like these memes of the day.
He said that it may be a good idea for us to crowdsource those
and just have people begin doing those for our show
might help us grow on social media.
So I'll start monitoring that
and the best one of the month will get a prize.
So you see a meme, something topic of the day,
whatever related back to our show,
I'll present it on the next NBR.
If you make Dan laugh, I'll get you some merch.
Okay. I like this.
Blake, passing off work.
Kind of, but we need imps, right?
Sure.
Imps mean good things.
Sure. Our social media game is gradually getting better.
I see what you boys are doing.
Let's begin with bad bits.
Got a few here in November.
The first is the, this is the scenario, but it's a larger scope,
problem the delbert creator asked trump for cancer medicine and gets it yeah now it's not him
specifically but it's someone in power or has some amount of fame that uses it to get something
they want you know on the low end not to reference the Terminator twice in one show but on the low
end you have like uh the first iteration of this i saw was when bob was tired of as he said at
the time a gym that stays open all hours of the week and they were like dicking him on his
cancellation which they will do and he was very early to twitter and he had a massive following and
i remember him just being like just checking their spot on twitter and it worked you'll see people
do it with like airlines that's a big one low key like barstow big cat will do that like because
he's got 10 million followers and if a listener is like hey united screwing me he's like
crack the knuckles goes after them but i hate that because it kind of works it kind of works
some people would tell you it's i i can't say that i've ever really done it but i certainly
have done the like hey you know you can get me to this for free yeah come on and people will do
it but the threshold to bad bit i feel like it's crossed when it is literally a life and death death matter
you have to ask publicly and by doing so you let all the peons and the proletariat know you do not have access to the care that i do that's what makes it like a god bless it
but we did learn through this bad bit that if you're taking your two little sons home they're twins both of them have some sort of
genetic deficiency that will present itself later in life.
If they need emergency aid, it is better to have created a popular office-based comic strip
than to have been a 12-year center for the New York Jets.
Yeah, I was going to arrive at that.
I'm tracking, like, what works and, like, the scale.
Obviously, the bottom is the Jets.
That's Jets.
Offense of Lineman for the Jets.
Somewhere in here.
But, yeah, that'll be fun.
Another bad bit, a guy asking for one million retweets to move his wedding day.
This was a specific case, but again, just the, hey, this amount of retweets and I'll do this.
And there's the problem.
Like Dan often points out on social media where so much of the NBR comes from, the problem is that it works.
And not only does it work, people are telling you, this is cool.
You're cool for doing this.
The kid was on game day the next morning.
Like that week, I pop on the TV and I'm texting Dan.
I'm like, holy shit, this kid made it to Game Day.
Yeah.
You didn't pay for that.
They flew him out there.
It's the weirdest paradox about social media that...
Oh, so negative.
Yeah, they say it's just the worst cesspool, and it's just terrible for your health, mental health,
and everybody's so negative on there.
And, yeah, you go out and you do some really terrible bit, and everybody's supporting you.
Like, oh, yeah, I'm all for this.
Yeah.
We just need to direct the guns properly.
Right.
Bullying works, as we discuss.
yesterday, Blake.
Get some
virtual ham.
This also says
your...
Remember, Holly
Roe jumped in
as like,
oh, I'm an efficient,
I could do the wedding
if you wanted to move it
as she jumps in
to make it about herself,
which she does routinely.
Holly Roe loves
Halie Roe
and Holly Row.
I got to say, though,
she was looking better
on the sideline this week.
Again, it might be the tea.
You were down there
with...
You saw Holly Roe, huh?
It was the shrooms.
And then this one's mine.
I don't know if it
approved or not, but I'm going to say it.
Aaron Andrews saying it's hard working on Thanksgiving as she's doing her podcast for a hobby
in her multi-million dollar home in multi-room closet with letters on the wall.
Letters on the wall.
Yeah, I was glad Blake brought that to the end of the show that day because that really took
off over the next 72 hours.
I figured it would.
Everybody had to try to take a stand, you know?
Do I let people know how hard this is?
Do you make fun of people for letting people know how hard it is?
Do I support Aaron Andrews so she can know that I'm supporting her here in our struggle,
our, you know, both of us female broadcasters who need people to understand how difficult this is?
Yeah, that just was never going to go well for her, ever.
No, but like I said, it was funny because when it was released, it was like, oh, she works so hard, look.
And you know what's...
Again, social media.
The problem, she made a misstep in it.
Like, she had cancer, I think.
And she had, like, fertility issues.
Like, all these things that are like,
you could probably actually make people kind of sad with that.
But, man, it was tough to put on the free $7,000 outfit that I was given
that was custom made for me.
And my makeup done for me, you know.
And the private jet we took to the game.
Yeah.
Right.
Right.
things Dan and Jake watch.
Let me tell you what Heron Andrews is not doing.
She's not doing high school games two days before her pro game.
That's a love for the game right there.
Yeah, our pro game into high school game, Thursday to Friday.
By the way, I put out the offer to Blake, and he's not biting.
He's not going to fall for the banana in the tailpipe again.
Just let him, just trust him.
The door will be unlatch, bro.
Because he flies in Thursday night, probably two in the morning or whatever.
three and I just said yeah my door's open and I guarantee it will be because every night now when I
locked that door I think Blake like I think of Blake every time sure yeah it's like the lady
at the cell phone store with the phone light and like I begging like I really want him to stay here
so I can get it right so he knows that I do love him and I care about it's like a reverse hurley he
boy situation just let the guy have you say he's never gonna do it now yeah I'm gonna keep that
card my back pocket yeah you know might need it one day
Uh, got a full, like, full detached situation just down the road if you need a place to stay near the airport.
Nice turf out there.
Yeah.
Uh, things Dan or Jake want.
Uh, for November, November 4th, Dan wants a check to bow out of something.
A check.
What do you mean?
I think we had done a story about some advice, had a consultant or something.
He, he was paid to just remove himself from the situation.
Ah, okay.
Like, here's a check to bow out.
Like, to just go away.
And that seems sweet.
You hear about that happening a lot.
It seems sweet.
November 10th, Jake wants pictures of old remote streaming services buttons.
And I sent you one.
Crunch.
Was it?
I'll have to find it.
There's so many.
Crunchy roll?
Crunchy roll.
What was Crunchy roll?
Yeah.
And I mean, I know this bit is very niche.
But if you have them, send me pictures.
because the hubris of these like series A,
they got one round of funding streaming services
that are like, yeah, we're probably basically direct TV,
put it on a remote, put quibby on this remote.
Dude, there's so many of them,
because I still have a PS view.
Like a remote that has PSVue on it.
Bless up, no doubt, rest of power, CK.
It was so good.
And at that time, you're like, all right, maybe this will be around.
But from there, you'll get the most insane one-off streaming services.
They'll be on a remote next to like DirecTV, YouTube,
and then Crunchyroll.
The Dungza.
