What if I told you that one molecule will help keep your body's system cleansed, supported immune health, and cellular protection all at once?
I'm talking about glutathione, aka the body's master antioxidant.
It exists inside nearly every cell, helping to protect DNA, proteins, and cell membranes from oxidative stress,
as well as playing a major role in liver cleansing, mitochondrial energy production, and immune balance.
Unfortunately, pollutions, toxins, and stress can rapidly deplete glutathione levels,
and as we age, glutathione production decreases as well.
And many traditional glutathione supplements do not absorb well,
making it extremely difficult to raise intracellular levels
where glutathione actually works.
And that's why I use glutareil,
the multi-patented topical glutathione developed by the amazing Dr. Nyham Patel.
Instead of relying on digestion,
gluteril absorbs through the skin,
helping provide a convenient and consistent way
to support the body's most important antioxidant system.

today. All right, everybody, welcome back to the Dylan Jameli podcast and I amped today. Let me tell you
something. I've talked about this and I go through the same protocol with guests before I have them on,
just like I told my guest today. And that is because I take everybody so serious. I don't want to
go in there like I don't know you and just put some stuff together and wing it. But this one,
and I have a big smile on my face, is because this doesn't seem like work to me at all. In fact,
I told my guest, they said, man, this is just going to be like you and me chilling for.
however long we go and just talking because I don't even almost as amazing in this story is I just
want to sit and talk with this guy because I mean we hit it off in a major way our 15 minute call
went over an hour so I mean and so this is going to be like a cool conversation you can listen to
of a lot of facts and a lot of things but as real as I always keep it this one's going to go to
another level so I'm really excited my guest is a board certified nutritionist but he founded
the Crohn's Collitis lifestyle to help others that are struggling with IBD.
And he's his backstory and everything that we're going to get into.
He's had to overcome a significant amount of problems.
And I'm one that always loves to spotlight perseverance and overcoming.
And my guest is the epitome of this.
And you're going to find out really quickly why I love this guy so much.
So without further ado, thank you for coming to see me,
especially given that you're about to have a baby.
my friend, Dane Johnson.
Thanks, Dylan.
Thanks for having me, man.
What an intro.
And I'm just so ecstatic to be here.
I want to change lives.
You know, IBD, chronic disease is not the end.
There's so much we can do.
I dedicate every moment of this energy just to serving, to supporting,
to just fill our cups with possibilities and anything I know.
I'm going to leave it on the table today.
So thanks for having me.
I love it.
You guys that are listening, you're going to find very quickly
that how much that we have in common
things that we've gone through in the past, like prior models and things like that that we discussed.
But just I think it's more so your desire, my desire to change lives and help people in multitudes of ways that still kind of come together as one.
And that's why I like to do this man and work with people like you, because I haven't gotten into Crohn's or some of the things that you've gotten into.
So you're my first guest that we're kind of hitting that direct topic and then we'll expound onto everything else you do.
So, you know, you do some amazing stuff, as I pointed out, but I want to go through what you went through.
Yeah, it's actually one of the things that really fuels me. And I think a lot of us, anyone who's sick or listening, is I really think we're diagnosed with a purpose.
Yep. You know, we can go to school. We can study. We can do this. But if you don't have it in your heart to really become the CEO of your health and really try to understand what's happening and just go for it, you can't get past it. You can't unveil what's possible in our lives.
And that's really what happened to me.
You know, I had one of the worst things that ever happened to me,
diagnosed with Crohn's disease and ulsterative clitis by two different doctors
at two different hospitals, two different times.
And it just came out of nowhere.
No family had it.
No past history.
No experience.
I was a normal kid.
But at 19 years old, I'm getting blood in the stool.
I mean, I'm out playing sports.
I'm doing college.
I'm a kid.
And I'm just going to the bathroom five times, seven times, ten times with blood in the
stool.
And it was one of those experiences like, what's going on? Shane, you know, just didn't know who I was. I didn't want to tell anyone. By the time I was 22 had gotten more severe where the doctors are going, okay, this is, you know, now ulcerative colitis with gastritis. And by the time I was 26, 27, they had said, okay, it's widespread Crohn's disease. And on my 27th birthday, I'd nearly passed away from complications to inflammatory bowel disease, which is not usual. Most people listening are going on what? I was one of the worst cases you could get because it just kept
festering. The problems were proliferating and the doctors were just throwing steroids, biologics,
antibiotics, and talking about surgery to cut out my colon. So I would have a stoma bag or I would just,
you know, go to the bathroom in a bag at 26 years old. And so for me, I wasn't, you know,
while I'm here, I wasn't against the grain of, oh, doctors are evil or all this is bad. I didn't
know why this happened to me. I was willing to take medications. It just didn't work.
So just to get to the point of that and why I'm so passionate about this, on my 27th birthday, I weighed 122 pounds on 6.2, 190 as you see me today. I was on a feeding tube. So I couldn't eat. I was getting just fed through a tube. And I was on 200 milligrams of infused prednisone. Anyone who's taken prednisone tablets? Yeah, 60 milligrams tapered down. That's the normal thing I did for years. Did that for four years before I had to get the infusion. They put me on four different antibiotics. They put me on three grams of dilatid. I was on intivio. I was on metotrex.
I was also ambient for sleeping. I was hallucinating. My mom told me later on when I woke up that I was
talking to supposedly my dead twin sister in the hospital. Don't remember that. Don't have a twin sister.
I was, I don't recall about two or three weeks of my life. I was in that hospital for a month
straight. And, you know, doctors couldn't figure out what was going on. And, you know, my dad flew in,
my sisters flew in, my mom flew in. And they took turns kind of staying with me through the night
because I would just relieve myself into a steel bedpan about 20 times a day, just blood,
mucous, water, sometimes a little sediment, hardly ever a bowel movement.
So imagine just like every 20 minutes you get this pain and this sense of something's not there
and you release and it's just blood and mucus and water.
And so, you know, and when you're a young person, I mean, you just, you're not thinking like that.
And it nearly killed, man, nearly died December of 2014 from complications of this disease.
then I started figuring out what actually happened.
Now, that's when I checked myself out of the hospital,
and I was already studying in natural medicine,
and my naturopathic professor, two professors I was working really closely with
to kind of understand the body and start learning.
And that took a lot of years of pain and suffering
to really figure out what had happened.
And I had to go beyond a restrictive diet,
which we'll talk about today.
I had to go beyond fermented foods and go beyond just supplements and herbs.
I had to understand the nervous system.
I had to understand mitochondria.
energy. I'd understand toxins, pathogens hidden that the doctors hadn't found. I had to figure out
how to combine conventional medicine and natural medicine because I needed both to live. Because if people
go, oh, natural medicine is everything. I said, yeah, but without conventional, I'd be dead. Thank you,
doctors. You saved my life. But natural medicine gave me my life back. Freedom. That makes sense.
Yeah. So I was going through something and I didn't have leadership. I didn't have connection
with anyone else who had been through this. So the people I was holding.
onto, latching onto, were in books. They were professors, they were doctors, people like
Jordan Rubin's book, or some of the people who were famous inflammatory bowel disease, right?
Jordan Rubin got famous for Hailing Crohn's Zsies. Yeah, I got to meet him a few years later
and show him before and after, and then I had a call with him about doing some business together
a little while ago. It's just come so full circle because I don't think we can really find
value in our lives, just a side note, until we become a value to others. And so I really feel called
to serve people who go through that pain.
But reflecting on it when I was that sick,
my mom had never experienced that,
my doctor never experienced that,
my girlfriend or my best friends had never experienced.
So I was alone in something
that no one could relate with
and no one could seem to help with.
So I had to go through a fire seemingly alone
with almost people watching from the stands.
You know, it's like when you're that sick
and you're that hurt and you're that scared,
you want to hold someone's hand.
You want to go through it with you.
And a lot of us listening,
we don't have that and no one can do it
and as much as we want to write a check
as much as our family wants to just
hug us and wrap around and take it from us
they can't.
Mother's love cannot take this and
that was the deepest spiritual pain I'd ever felt.
It brought me into my knees.
It brought me into a depression
and anger or resentment with God
and upsetness were obviously with my doctors
because they couldn't help me.
Most of us are just thought
when it's not your fault and something happens to you,
it's someone else's responsibility to fix it.
So I was just waiting on someone else to fix it because it wasn't my fault.
And it just, no one could save the day.
My mom, my dad, you know, I didn't know, I couldn't, I felt like I was praying.
I didn't know what to do with God.
I didn't know what to do with the doctors at UCLA Mayo Clinic, Cedarsina, I had seen them all.
And, you know, there's just, there's a surgeon sitting outside the room waiting to take out my colon, probably go on disability, move back with mom, forget my life.
I'd lost a few years of my 20s to this.
As I said, I'd turned 27 in the hospital fighting for my life.
So that was the why. And when I first got diagnosed, it was just a little bit, you know, left-sided
colitis and then just kept proliferating and getting worse and worse and worse. And that's what
sort of teach me about what some of those root cause issues were and about where the doctors were
great at one thing, but they did not understand the other. For example, you know, doctors said,
diet didn't matter. Now, I can explain that and we could spend 45 minutes on that, but I think
we should say the time.
What they were really saying is that a diet won't cure an incurable disease.
But they failed to really understand how beneficial, specific eating of real whole foods can be to healing.
You say, a body.
I think, well, there's multiple things to unpack.
I'll tell you one thing that I love that you said was the way that you structured conventional and natural medicine together.
Here's part of the problem.
It's a massive problem.
But I love how you combined both.
the utilization of both is imperative.
The reliance on only one or this demonization or this polarization of one versus the other is
out of control.
It's just out of control.
It is one side or no side type of thing for so many people.
And that is that's, it goes with everything.
It's like their politics, all of it.
Everything goes to that.
And it's like, brother, that's not how life works.
Cut through, man.
No.
And the problem with what you were talking about with conventional is it's they robbed Peter to
pay paul take this to offset this to offset this to offset this before you know it you've got 900
side effects that you're taking something to counter that's not even treating the exact problem yeah
and it's it's an issue and that's why this is what i figured out with some of my medications for my heart
it was like i only need one or two of these i do need it but i don't need all this other crap you're
trying to tell me to do there's a couple things i want to unpack um one could you just give up
a very simple understanding to people that don't know what cron
disease is and maybe even what colitis is and how that is really treated or how it's, you know,
what causes it.
Yeah.
Baseline understanding.
We have IDS, irritable bowel syndrome, which a large percentage of people in the Western
world have in Canada, U.S., Europe.
And then we have IBD, inflammatory bowel disease.
Yeah.
They can be similar.
But IBS is not an autoimmune disease.
They're not finding chronic inflammation.
They're usually not recommending lifelong medications.
It usually doesn't end in surgery.
Polonoscopies and endoscopies are looking normal.
Blood work's looking normal.
So IBS is more of a sensitive belly
where I might get diarrhea,
urgency, bloating, cramping food sensitivity.
You know, along came polly, can't eat the spicy food.
That's ideas, right?
Everyone's got it now, right?
Oh, that part, yeah, that's no fun.
That's it.
Everyone remembers that.
Now we know, now we know.
And so IBD is that times 10.
It's that, but there's chronic inflammation.
You can't absorb food.
You become mountain.
or highly usually anemic or most common.
It's different for everyone, but common symptoms are blood in the stool, cramping and pain,
anemia, dehydration, loss of minerals and vitamins, especially zinc or vitamin D, iron.
And you can also be dealing with, you know, severe issues around gastritis or just, yeah,
cramping and pain, strictures.
It can transform to cause problems like fissures, fissulas, abscess, hemorrhoids.
These are where there's severe cuts in.
inside the GI track or a hemorrhoid that won't heal where it's hard to sit. It's painful.
Bleeds. People with IBD have a slightly increased chance of colorectal cancer because of chronic
inflammation. So IBD, chronic inflammatory condition that usually can involve surgeries, lifelong
biologics or medications, and it's not immune disease. And they can see it. And visually, they can see it in lab tests.
they can see an antibody reactions.
IBS, they don't see all that, but it has similar symptoms that kind of come and go with stress or food.
Okay.
So, Crohn's disease and ulceroclitis, two forms of IBD.
The biggest difference in layman's terms is location.
Crohn's disease can be mouth all the way down through the colon.
Obsericklysis tends to be the colon.
Where in the colon, then you can have things like pan colitis, ulcerative colitis, or microscopic colitis.
Big fancy words for just where's the inflammation?
What's autoimmune disease for people that don't know?
autoimmune is how the doctors are describing to us who are sick a way of just generally speaking
what's happening in our body our immune system is attacking ourselves quote unquote okay now the doctors
have go ahead and said okay that's what an autoimmune disease is your body's attacking and we have
different forms of autoimmune where the body's reacting in different ways we check that through
inflammation or usually antibody panels so when your body's building up a defense mechanism across some
nature, right? So it could be rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease,
alterative colitis, lupus, chorgans, these are all names of autoimmune conditions.
Problem is, is the doctors say there is no root issue. We don't know why this happened.
It's happening. And we only have certain types of medications to calm it down. That's going to be
an immunosuppressant, or known as biologic. So in tivio, remicade, Rindvoke. A lot of us have
heard of this. You see commercials all the time on TV, right? This suppresses the immune system,
so it tries to shut off the immune system.
It doesn't deal with root cause.
Right.
And you get an increased chance
of tuberculosis, lymphoma,
for percentages.
And you have aminomodulators.
Kind of do that,
except it's not an infusion.
It's capsule.
It's empty.
Methotrexate,
imurin.
And then you have a steroid like prednisone.
We've all,
most of us heard,
Budescinide,
prednisone,
cortisol steroid that helps a knockout
inflammation.
It's temporary.
You can only be on it temporarily.
I was on that for about four years on and off.
And, yeah,
the misalamines is the lightest.
That's a 5 ASA.
stomach coter anti-inflammatory. What's cool about that is doctors stumbled upon
misalamine being able to reduce inflammation in the colon specifically for ulcerative
colitis, but also used for Crohn's disease. And it was able to help the body metabolize
a reactive oxygen dioxide, right? So this builds up in your colon. And then they use this
and almost acts a little bit like an antioxidant. So it reduces that oxidative stress, helps
metabolize it. And so that's why it helps some people with colon issues really calm down.
oral medication. You can take it for lifelong. There's minimal side effects that we know of of
misalamine. So that's kind of your basic understanding of medications, IBD versus IBS. How many people do you
think, and if you don't have an exact number, I kind of have a feeling you have a good idea.
How many people, whether it's worldwide or US-wide, do you think are affected with IBD, IBS, or Crohn's?
I think it's more than we know. So if you check on online, you look at the clinical studies,
it's about 3 million
to 3.4 million in the United States.
Now that's only maybe 1%.
Still a lot of people.
But here's what's interesting.
Everyone really has to understand about this.
A diagnosis is subjective.
I see people diagnosed with IBS.
They go through stress.
They go on a round of antibiotics.
They get a little something.
They leave the country.
All of a sudden, their body starts inflaming.
The next thing you know,
they're diagnosed with all so of clitis or colitis or Croctitis.
It can change.
Just because a doctor said,
it's this doesn't mean it can't turn into that later on.
Now, IBS, we're thinking those numbers are 10, 10fold at least, 30 million, 40 million,
maybe 60 million in the United States are dealing with some form of IBS, IBS diarrhea or constipation.
So if you're noticing some of these symptoms, listen up, listen to your body, start acting now because it can progress.
Is it like preventable?
Is it like just you can mitigate it?
What are the ways to go about early onset finding it?
Can it be stopped or slowed or cured?
So when you're trying to see if you have IBD,
the best way to look is going to be an endoscopy or colonoscopy from the doctor's point
of view, which has its negative side effects because you have to take these laxatives.
They expand your stomach.
They can irritate your gut.
Many people with sensitive stomachs actually will get worse trying to prep or do a colonoscopy or endoscopy.
So you have to be careful of that and just speak with a practitioner about.
how you go about that. The second is an IBD antibody panel. So they'll check your blood for
antibodies against things like antipsychromyceaseasease antibodies. So just ask your doctor for an
IBD blood panel that will give you a somewhat sense of it. You can also do a stool analysis,
check in calprotectin. Or if you work with functional doctors, do a gut zoomer as my favorite or a GI
map. This is a functional stool test that check for calprotectin, ESin ofal activation proteins,
a lactoferin, big words for just signs of inflammation that could be linked with IBD.
This is non-invasive at home.
So these are great ways to check for IBD, but you want to act sooner than later.
Can it be prevented?
Well, we're still trying to figure out what causes it.
And a lot of people are saying, well, it's got to be hereditary, which is true.
If your parents or anyone in your family has IBD, you're at a higher risk.
But I think we right now, we want to get this aha moment around the understanding of what is hereditary, what is genes.
We learn from epigenetics that genes get turned on and off based on environment.
Yes.
Right?
So some of us, if you are being exposed to mold toxins in your house, your brother's fine, your mom's fine.
Guess what?
Your body's freaking out.
You're getting an inflammatory response.
You're getting blood in the stool and you're going, was it something I ate?
No.
It was something you breed then.
Yeah.
Your body can't handle the mold.
Or if you had, if you went through a round of antibiotics or your microbiome get to
that could affect the epigenetics or that could affect that reaction because remember 70% of
your immune system lives in the gut right so if you're if you're drinking water out of plastic water
bottles and heating up you know black plastic stuff in a microwave and eating that that can disrupt
the microbiome activate your immune system to start reacting in that moment especially if you when
your significant other just break up so think of it this way it's like what's causing this
toxins, unchecked pathogens, weakened biochemistry, and then it's just all put into a soup and it just
needs the trigger. I don't think people have any sort of grasp or understanding about everyday stuff
that accumulates and accumulates and accumulates that you do like you're talking about the plastic
and the things that some people say that people are crazy that talk about that stuff and they don't
understand why there's so much disease and problems that we just don't have an answer for. It's just
medication when in reality it's sitting right in front of our face and stuff we do every single
day. And there's clinical research to show it. That's what the doctors are missing. Yeah.
There's clinical research to show that microplastis are found 50% in more, more people with IBD
than people who don't have IBD. It's more prevalent in IBD. We've seen some research around
that. We're seeing research around certain toxins, heavy metals. So an increase in potential mercury,
lead, cadmium. We're seeing an increased potential in amulsifiers, polysorbate abier,
certain gums found in our food are linked to weakening the gut lining.
Now, remember, 70% of your immune system lives right behind the gut, the gut lining.
So if that gets weakened and all of a sudden these toxins start getting explode, you know,
into the bloodstream, you could just, your body can freak out like that.
So again, it's a trigger.
Now, looking back at what caused me to react, I was wearing Invisaline for over a year
right before I was diagnosed with ulceroclysis.
Really?
I'm not saying that caused it, but I think it was, I think it was correlated.
Really?
Just my experience, yes.
Wow.
Chewing on plastic, day and night, swallowing it through the night, changing the trays
every other day.
It's also keeping all this food stuck in my mouth.
And I'm eating cheeses, derivots, soda pops.
Think about it.
It's all getting stuck into my gums.
And remember, your gums also are transport to the rest of your body.
I'm just asking my body to freak out.
And then I was also under high amounts of stress, living under fluorescent lights, eating crappy food in my first nine to five, you know, office job.
Think of all, you know, office space from the 90s.
That was me.
Okay, first job when I got diagnosed.
I was the guy.
My favorite movies.
Oh, so good.
Just sitting there clicking away.
And so I think that's just one example that toxic burden is something we should deep dive into.
And everyone listening, don't think it's just something that, oh, that's the only correlation.
It's always correlations.
You know, it's just like sports.
Like, why did I lose the game?
Was it the one shot?
No, it was the whole game.
There was the defense.
It was the offense.
It was the play.
It was, you know, it didn't roll your way sometimes.
The body's working the same.
It's everything combined.
So don't beat yourself up.
But start taking things off your plate and off, really, the chess board metaphorically,
to give your body more space and to increase the chance that you're free and you're healthy and you can thrive.
I just did an interview last week.
and it was with Michael Rubino,
and he's like the dust guy
and does the dust test,
and we talked about mold.
And I got such a deeper,
clearer picture of how terrible
that type of exposure is.
And now that we're getting into this,
I'd like to get a little bit deeper
into more of the testing
because we were kind of focusing on the mold aspect.
That was kind of his thing,
which is a big problem.
Yeah.
But I'd like to maybe dig down the rabbit hole
here with you about other tests
that are really problematic.
You know, like you brought up mercury, arsenic, aluminum.
What are some of the things that people need to really start focusing on and looking at
that are more problematic than we would ever imagine?
So the best three tests I think everyone should invest in getting
is going to be the stool analysis, the gutzumer that can tell us about pathogens.
So in a test like this, now remember, no test is perfect.
No one can find parasites perfectly, not even mold perfectly.
No one's going to be able to find heavy metals perfectly.
That's why heavy metal tests come with urine, blood, or hair analysis.
Sometimes it's hard to find potential root issues.
So look, but just take it with the grain of salt based on what the symptoms are saying,
based on your past experience, and based on what your theory is.
I always tell people I work with.
I'm not at Sherlock Holmes.
We're coming up with a theory.
Then we try to prove concept.
So lab tests that you want to consider right off the bat,
that is going to be a great investment for dollars to what you get is going to be a
stool analysis like the gut sumer or a GI map or some kind of quantitative PCR stool test.
Two is the total tox burden test. You want to look at environmental toxins in the urine,
heavy metals, and mycotoxins in the urine. Now, if you really think mold's an issue,
I like Dr. Andrew Campbell's blood analysis to go along with the urine analysis if I really think
that's a problem. And footnote on mold, if you lived in a basement that was musty or you lived
in a house that was flooded at one time
or you grew up in a place where you know
there's been mold or someone else
has dealt with mold in the house or it's a really
old house where you think there's been leaks
somewhere in the walls, absolutely check on that.
Because if you don't have the epigenetic
ability to get rid of the mold out of your body,
it's going to cause more or less seers,
which is chronic inflammatory response syndrome,
which is one of the root issues
of many of the autoimmune diseases.
It's mold toxicity, and you can,
can check your Sears panel. So to finish that off, get the urine analysis, total tax burden,
get the gut sumer, consider an organic acid test that looks at more metabolics, that looks more at
mitochondria function that can tell us about some nutrient levels. It can give us a little bit more
understanding of candida and molts of fungi in the body. Yeah. So that looks at acid metabolites in
your urine that can be indicative of root causes. So it's a great way to check for hidden problems. So now
we got stool, we got two potential urins, and then you can check the potential blood for the mold
if you want, but then also ask your doctor for a higher level of blood work, because this should
be run through insurance, and most doctors will check it if you have probable cause.
Yeah.
So your CBC, CMP, asked to add in the iron panel, the vitamin D-25-O-H.
If you think you might have IBD, ask for the IBD antibody panel.
go and check for the CRP, so C, reactive protein, and cedrate, looking at that inflammation.
If you think that you might have mold or seers, chronic inflammatory response syndrome,
or mold is driving this as a root issue, check your C4A.
It's a blood test that acutely looks at inflammation that's usually linked with mold.
You can also check the VEGF and things like that.
So, you know, don't get too lost, I think, in the lab work, like attack the problem, understand what's going on,
build a plan that actually works. And so that's why I tell people to go after the fives,
the three fives in three different ways, the biochemistry fives, the five pathogens that we got to go
after and really understanding, you know, how you go after those toxins, those pathogens,
and support the five drainage pathways. Yes. So everyone, this is a game changer,
if you live at these, okay? Now, what people don't understand and what my doctor missed when I was
chronically sick. Doctor looks at me, they look at you and they go, sorry, it's incurable,
something you can do about it. You want steroids? We want biologics? We've all been through that,
right? And you're going and going, wait, wait, wait, what about food? What about meditation?
What about sleep and nervous system? Like, doctor's got to be something I can do.
Here's the first step you make with the doctor. You talk to the doctor about these five parts of your
body, biochemistry part that are just not working properly when you have gut-off issues.
So number one, I can almost guarantee if you've got GI issues that you have poor digestion.
That's not about whether this is curable or not.
It's about your ability to break down food.
So stomach acid, pancreatic function, liver function.
Do I have enough bile being produced?
You know, the liver is made through, file is made through the liver.
Right.
Because something to water them, that's what breaks on fats.
You can't break down fats.
You can't break down your ADKE.
Fat suburbals.
You can't make cholesterol.
You can't make testosterone.
You can't properly have a bowel movement because your body needs bile.
to move the fecal matter throughout the small intestine.
So if I don't have proper digestion, guess what you're going to get?
You're going to get food sensitivity.
Right.
You're going to get bloating and gas.
You're going to get undigested food in a stool.
You're going to get low energy.
You're not going to have proper mitochondria function.
You're going to have low amounts of maybe hormone issues, low vitamins.
So here we are getting diagnosed with incurable diseases.
You won't, wait a minute.
I've got low stomach acid.
And the doctor's been put me on PPI's for the last 20 years.
My liver's clogged the statinence.
It's not moving.
My pancreatic enzymes. Check, it's in a stool analysis, non-invasive. Simple stool analysis will give you some idea of pancreatic enzymes. It's called the elastase 1. It'll tell you to get in fat malabsorption. It's called the StedioCrip. And you can do simple tests at home to check your digestion. You can take some batine on an empty stomach stomach. Yeah. If you can take four or five caps of 250, 300 milligrams of batain without any kind of heartburn, guess what? You got low stomach acid. Right. Now, Dylan, what's interesting is, we sit here and we go, well, I'm gluten-free and unpalal.
If you've got low stomach acid, you're eating raw fish from the local market.
That doesn't affect Billy Bob over there, but it affects you.
Yeah, exactly.
The parasites are going right through the stomach acid.
This is chestnut checkers.
I know.
I know.
This is not about, oh, I was diagnosed and God smited me and I can't have this rest of my life.
This is simple math.
The doctor does not agree.
The doctor will agree with you on the fact that if you have low digestive capabilities,
that will affect.
your GI health. Like, that's not an argument. Here's the problem. You know this. And this is why
we do this is because we have to, people have to take control of their own stuff. Nobody's going to do
all of these things that you're saying are so true. But you go see a doctor for five to seven
minutes that knows nothing about you that runs two basic simple blood panels, which you said that
they are important as foundational pieces. Yeah. But they don't cover anything. Really, those are basic
things that you need to address that don't really tell you anything. Because the implications
beyond that, it's like the people that I get that want, I just want testosterone replacement therapy.
My testosterone is low. Well, brother, we have to look at all of these other things because I can
fix this. Yeah, I can find what's making it low. Yeah. Unless you just have a severe hypogonatoconditional
or you used anabolic steroids. Then we might have a different discussion. But otherwise, if we lower
your SHBG, that might correct it. You know, just something simple.
That's why we need what you said.
We need to go down this list, but you as the person has to really go do this yourself.
You've got to be the CEO of your health.
That's right.
But we don't know where to start.
Yes.
Right now, guys, let's get down some simple executable actions that you can take away and use with your doctor.
I am not trying to argue with my doctor.
I don't want you arguing with your doctor.
I want to give you ammo to go in there and make sense.
But you are the CEO and you need the doctor who works for you?
And the naturalist who works for you?
Yeah.
And anyone on your team to say, we're taking the ship over here, I understand everyone's an expert and better at me than all this stuff.
But you all have to help me win with my goals.
Thank you.
My goals.
Listen to me.
Now, I'm going to concede.
You're the better doctor.
You're the doctor.
But this is where I want to go.
I want to fix the root issue.
I want to feel healthy as long as I can without just a quick fix, just a steroid or just a replacement.
I want to start going after how to really get empowered.
and then we need to be able to teach the CEO,
like talk like you're talking to a sixth grader.
Simple, digestion.
If the doctor told you you have IBD,
but you most likely have poor digestion,
and number two, you most likely have an imbalanced microbiome,
you go, oh, great, what the heck is that microbiome?
Great, what could I do with digestion?
Oh, I could take a little apposite of vinegar,
or a little peppermint or a little ginger,
or I could make sure I'm salivating before I eat
and work on the parisempathetics because it engages natural digestive process,
or I can work on my food philosophy
so I can make it more absorbable and stay away from insoluble fiber with low digestion.
I'm not going to be able to handle right now.
Oh, thanks, Doc.
Imagine the trauma release if we started breaking down the ID of an autoimmune disease because IBD equals IDK.
Right, right.
So let's break it down.
So that's number one, digestion, number two, microbiome balance.
You can go to the doctor and say, Doc, what do you think the chances are?
I have dysbiosis, clonidis, colonic dysbiosis, small intestine bacteria overgrowth.
I have some sort of pathogenic infection.
that maybe led to me being finally diagnosed with IBD,
especially if you got sick later in life.
If you got diagnosed at 25 or 35 or 40 or 60, what happened?
Like what the hell happened here?
Sorry for my French.
Oh, it's true.
Microbiome, it's real.
Everyone agrees this isn't woo-woo.
So we go to the doctor and we go, Doc, it's all stress and it's a parasite called Flecklispor.
The GI doctor, UCLA's going to go, what the hell have you been drinking?
Get off, Doc, Google.
and get out of my face.
I got five minutes with you.
Right.
But if we start talking and go,
look, let's stay away from the woo-woo just for right now.
Let's get everyone on the same team.
Poor digestion, weak microbiome balance, three, leaky gut.
Your mucosal membrane is damaged.
It's inflamed.
It's exposing the immune system,
increasing the cytokine reaction,
increasing the TNF alpha,
hence why you're on remuncate a TNF alpha blocker.
Yeah.
Okay, Doc, to be on the same page.
I need to heal the leaky gut.
I need to rebalance my microbiome.
I need to enhance my digestion.
I need to get into parasympathetic.
We know.
There's no argument that the nervous system is real.
It's autonomic.
And there are two versions,
the parasympathetic and the sympathetic.
And if I start to engage the parasympathetic,
okay, my vagal nerve tone will start working,
which enhances digestion.
I will get out of fighter flight.
I'll start pumping freaking cortisol in adrenaline through my body.
And I can maybe start sleeping a little better and calm down.
Because when you tell someone they've got an incurable disease,
What kind of nervous system state do you think they're going into?
Right.
So I just got more sick because you changed my reality and stamped me on the forehead.
Yeah.
So that's like a cascade of problems.
You just told me I have incurable disease.
I already feel like crap.
Now the next week I'm going to be sad, depressed, trying to enroll everyone I know that I have an incurable disease.
So now I have to tell everyone this new reality, which further enrolls my spirit that I'm a sick person.
Anyone who listen, you done being sick, drop the forehead stamp, drop the luggage.
you are not meant to be sick, you are meant to thrive,
and there are root issues on why this happened,
and you get to decide if there is a cure or not.
You get to decide how you identify.
Absolutely.
Because I don't have Crohn's and Clyson more.
I just got a sensitive tummy.
I'm just prone to tell me sensitivities if I do bad things,
but besides that, I'm just me.
Yeah, I'm not Dane the Crones guy anymore.
I'm just Dane.
That's right.
Elven powered.
That's it.
I eat what I want, when I want.
And I inspire others to live like me
because this is a better way to live.
And I was diagnosed for purpose.
What were you diagnosed with?
what's going on to your life. You see that power?
Bring that power. Take that power right now and bring it into your life.
Don't let anyone have sympathy for you and talk down or tell you, I'm so sorry this happened
to you. How do you live this way? This is a better way because Western world living is sick.
We wake up to that. We rise and we create a new reality of freedom, of empowerment, of real food,
of a real connection with God and mother. And that's where you take your power back because I was a sick
victim for years of this. And I promise you're going to, if you take these things, you apply them,
it'll change your life. And the last one is when you fix that nervous system, those five more
biochemistry situations that divinely work, the immune system's going to start working better.
It's right. You're telling me you don't balance immune, because it balanced the microbiome
and enhance regular digestion, clean up that liver. You work on healing up that leaky gut and you get
the nervous system engaged that your immune system is not going to thrive, that your symptoms
aren't going to go down. Because I almost guarantee that your symptoms are all connected to that.
You got bloating, gas, undigested food, digestion, microbiome.
Immunec isn't freaking out.
Leaky gut.
You got blood in the stool also.
Ulcerations.
What do they usually cause from?
H. Pylori, one of the main pathogens causing ulcers.
I've seen people get perfect results from CT scans or endoscopies, just treating H.
Pylori, enhancing digestion and rebuild the microbiome with better probiotics that actually work.
So those are the five, right?
So right there, now we can take our power back and just say, look, you can call it what you want,
but I need to rebuild the structure, my foundation.
You can say I live in a broke house, but all I see is a bad foundation with bad concrete
pour. And I see old beams that need to be changed out. I see a roof that needs to be changed.
The house can be built. And this is what, when you learn this, you figure this out for the rest
of your life. Get empowered. Right. And so those are the five. And then from there, I'm now looking
at the five pathogens that doctors never told me I had. Now, doctors saved my life, but the five
you need to know about, viruses, parasites, candida, mold, and bacteria. And there are many
subgroups to each viruses.
When I almost died,
the reason I was dying, Dylan,
is because I had a massive
overreaction of cytomega virus.
I was like, what?
I thought of what?
It wasn't, you know who found it?
My mom.
Wow.
She called every doctor I'd ever seen
over the last four years because her son was dying in the hospital
and he was out cold, and she was living there day in, day out.
I was there for a month.
And she found one doctor in Florida.
who said that he did a stain for cytopamigivirus
and one of the 20 colonoscis I did throughout the years
because they always wanted to shove a camera at my boat
when you're sick.
Of course.
And he said, I think this is the cytomega.
You have to give them a chemotherapy.
They gave me an antiviral chemotherapy
that saved my life within 24 hours of being on that chemotherapy
after feeding tube, antibiotics, steroids, everything I woke up.
Wow.
Three days later, I checked myself out of the hospital.
There's nothing doctors could do for me.
and I was housebound for a year.
It took me three months to be able to walk again.
And what the number one reason is because of this antiviral.
So again, that's conventional medicine.
Save my life.
Now, think about it.
I had been on so many antibiotics, so many steroids, so many immunosuppressants.
How do you think my body was able to handle the viral load being on antibiotics
storing the microbiome that protects you and the immunosuppressants that keeps your immune system strong?
Because when you go on immunosuppressants, what do they warn you?
You're more susceptible to COVID.
Right. A virus. You're more susceptible to disease. God knows what COVID actually is.
But it's all in your eyes. I'm going to say, well, your eyes, we're going to leave it there.
But so all of a sudden, that was one of the things. So doctors never told me that was one doctor in Florida, told my mom, we had to get the insurance to put me on it. I woke up. I was on that for three months.
And that killed red blood cells. I was drooling from the mouth. I could hardly speak. I could hardly get out of bed. I mean, I was in severe pain. And I had to work over three months to get off the ambient, the, the, the opioids. I.
I had to get off the antiviral chemotherapy.
I had to get off, and then I eventually got myself off of methotrexate and tibio, all of that.
But then as I started working closer in natural medicine, there were some really good things I found,
some things that weren't so good.
When I left, I called my natural professor and I said, Dr. H., what do I do, man?
And he was like, he was brilliant.
He helped me.
I mean, he gave me some wins, I'll tell you guys about.
But he really helped me out in certain ways.
But I found he never had IBD and specialized in IBD like that.
So I was in this case where a lot of us listening are out there where it's like,
we don't have a mentor, we don't have a leader who said,
oh yeah, I've seen your case and testimonies of your case.
So that's where I started learning about those.
And I found all these pathogens, those five pathogens.
I found all of them.
Doctors never told me I had plasticis,
this is hominicine, cyclospore.
I found both.
Paral wellness kit with a human actually looking down at my stool visually
and found those two parasites.
But they're so hard to find.
And even if you don't find them,
side known of parasites,
you most likely need to do a parasite cleanse,
even if you don't have them,
especially if you're chronically sick and chronically inflamed.
Two, candida overgrowth.
All those years at the hospital,
the doctors never even checked
in the stool analysis for Candida albulans.
Not once.
E to the third, scientific notation,
Candida albulcans, E to the third,
was roughly a normal amount.
So candida is naturally occurring in the colon,
but when your microbiome is out of balance,
what's in the colon can proliferate
up to the small intestine.
Now, that's about 20 feet.
We're talking two stories.
Yeah.
Canada and bacteria can proliferate
up into the small intestine where it's never meant to be
where your mucosal lining
is way weaker.
And then it can get through your gut lining
like that. Of course.
Way easier. Because it's in a place
but you don't have the force field. You don't have the barrier.
So this proliferate,
I had massive candidiasis. That means
candida had overgrown through my body.
When candida gets overgrown into gut lining,
it actually keeps the tight junctions
separated and it allows those
toxins just to feed into the
bloodstream. And I was
covered in cystic acne. If you're covered in cystic acne, I can almost guarantee you have
fungal overgrowth and or bacterial overgrowth and your liver is completely overwhelmed. I bet you
have metabolic endotoxemia. I could run a nutrigeno commercial on how many people have helped
clear their skin. It's the gut, it's the liver, it's toxic overload, and it's also epigenetics,
because your body might not have the glucoronidase pathway to even make the glutifion to clean up
the blood, help the liver. And the lymphatic system gets slow, especially when you're sick and you don't
move. Right. Because if you don't move, your lymph doesn't move, it's a vicious cycle. Everything
gets worse. So the pathogens, doctors never told me. They didn't even mention the word
CBO. I'm sick for four years on my deathbed. You never mentioned the word small intestine
bacteria overgrowth or the phrase. This is part of being sick. If you have IBS or IBD,
you almost certainly have CBO. It's not a condition. It's a state of the microbiome. The microbiome can
only balance itself if it's able to have healthy amounts of good bacteria. Keep it in check.
So if your police forces down in New York City, East Harlem's growing, baby.
Yeah, I know.
It's rolling.
It's rolling through town.
I mean, the Joker's just rocking through the west side, just claiming everybody.
I love it.
So, you know, I am of the belief.
I don't have the science for this and I don't care.
I know that God knows everything well ahead of time.
And I know this, that every single thing, you and I have gone through everything we've ever seen,
every disease, everything known to man, there's something here for it to fix it.
There is.
There's something.
there. The reality is, is that your situation was different than Susan's and Joe's and Dillens and
whoever else. But there's this one-track treatment and mindset. Pad and paper, there you go,
right? And that certainly compounded your issues in your gut, giving you a bunch of, who knows what
kind of medications. I mean, you listed a ton. That just destroyed everything inside of you. How many
people do you think that happens to where this interaction with a doctor who just writes scripts
causes more and more compounded problems and then it just goes into this wacky insane thing of
your immune system's messed up your gut system is messed up and everything else on the side is
messed up and then it exacerbates the current problem or creates a new one i think there's something
to be said for that absolutely but i think we all just the problem is is that we're not accountable
for our health and we're not trained in absolutely
That's the core problem.
That's, yeah.
And a doctor, this is where I really forgave the doctors because they're really brilliant.
Insurance pays them to see us for five minutes.
Most doctors who are really good, they see 120 clients a week.
You can't get the know anyone.
And also, you have a license that you spent, I don't know, three, 400,000, you know, to get all these degrees to get.
If you don't follow protocol of big pharma, you're done.
You're done.
I already know.
I have people are not entrepreneurs.
No are employees.
and this is held over their head.
So these are brilliant people,
much more brilliant than me in many ways.
Let's work with our doctors.
Let's come together.
Let's become the CEOs.
Yes, these medications are trying to treat the body
in an isolated manner.
The body doesn't work that way.
You said that for every problem,
there is an answer in this world.
And that's because our bodies have lived here
for millions of years.
Exactly.
And they are built to be able to recover.
You cut your arm with a knife.
You don't even have to think about it.
your body will know and fix that.
So basically, doctors are our friends, but we need to get self-empowered.
We go off to those five biochemistry, so we start looking for pathogens.
Even if we don't see them in certain labs, we still start to slowly go after them.
You know, things like mold, parasites are a little bit more advanced.
And if you're going to get great results, you also have to understand the drainage pathways.
You've got to get the liver moving.
Okay, there are five drainage pathways, more or less you really want to know and focus on the liver, the kidney, the lymphatic system,
the ability to sweat and the ability to poop.
So if you can't sweat, I'm already thinking that you're more likely to have an autoimmune reaction.
Yep, can't poop, you're more likely an autoimmune reaction.
The liver's a little bit more conspicuous on how it works, but you'll know if you have bile issues.
You can't break down fats well.
You're constantly bloated and gassy.
You have a lot of skin issues usually means the liver needs support and the liver works in hand
with the kidneys.
Lymphatic system, if you're not moving often, that's usually a sign that your lymphatic
is not moving. So if your bed rested all the time, you're in a, you know, an office chair all the time
you're not moving. That's a sign that we probably need to get your limp moving as well.
But I've seen, I was working with a guy who's been sick for 30 years the other day, and we started
working on his drainage pathways. He's had five surgeries, failed like five different biologics,
Crohn's a disease since he was 12 years old. He's 43 now. He's a producer and director.
And we got him symptom free in four months, but the main thing just focusing on his drainage pathways.
Because there's a difference, and this is big. Just because you remove time,
toxins from your life doesn't mean the toxins are removed from your body, right?
I can't tell you how many people I've just seen life-changing results when that clicked in and said,
wait a minute, I got rid of the paribins and in my beauty products, I cleaned up my water source,
I got a hepa filter in my house. I started eating organic, but I'm still sick. Why?
Because your drainage pathways are still clogged and the toxins live in you.
Mycotoxins or toxins from parasites leached out of the biofilms can just live in their 20, 30,
40 years. So you can be sitting there doing all the right things. You're staying in an acute
inflammatory space because your body can't eliminate the toxins at a cellular level, right? That's
what Pompa talks about or at the drainage pathways levels we talked about needs to happen. Now,
the chess match and all this is when do we hit what and why? And what do we start doing today that
helps all those things? The biochemistry, the pathogens, and the drainage. Okay. And that's where we start playing
with Aces. We got to ask you.
I got to ask then because you just brought up some stuff that I know people are going to be like, whoa.
Yeah.
You said eliminating certain things that are causing problems.
You brought up like skincare and things like that.
Give me an idea of some of the stuff that is a more prevalent problem for people that you wouldn't even know or think of.
The skin care, for example, most people wouldn't think about this.
Oh, I'm treating my skin well.
And I want to know too because I'm like, Mr.
skincare, but what are some everyday things that you just would never think of that are very problematic
that can cause some of this shit? Well, certain lotions that have any kind of synthetic ingredients.
Remember, anything that's man-made is a chemical that your body then has to release. You want to
get away from that as much as possible. So you're going to find this, yeah, you could find it in
lotions. I'm going to tell you another one is cologne. Nowadays, I used to wear cologne. If I
smell perfume and cologne on someone, my natural instinct is, whoa, because that is, you know,
that can just affect yourselves. Those are called volatile organic compounds. Now, if you have mass
activation, if you have poor drainage pathways, if you are prone to a histamine reaction,
things like VOCs are going to be a problem for you, scented candles. Yeah, there's perfumes we talk
about. Anything that's, you know, has a sense to it that you put on as a lotion or a face wash
or even deodorants can cause that problem. So I always like to think, how did humans made 100
years ago if we had to smell like sandalwood? Because if you,
you smell foul by nature, the other person went, wow, there's something sick in that guy or that
girl that's not a mate. They're sick. That's how we had healthy babies. Because to smell terrible
was a sign that your body was sick. I see. So so many people started doing things that made them
sick. Too much alcohol, too much conventional food, too much fried food, too much, you know, beer. And all of a
sudden you stink.
Yeah.
Don't mate with this person.
They're terrible, right?
So in the beginning, then you're saying, hey, Dan, I'm ready to take action.
Don't get overwhelmed by the things we're talking about here.
We went into the deepness today.
But what's amazing about it is you don't need to dissect the wave of your body, the
divinesness of your body.
You need to get out of its way.
Right.
I get it.
Let's bring it back down to Earth.
Everyone can do this.
Get out of the body's way.
Your body's going to do this, not me.
Mm-hmm.
Not Pampa, not Axe, not Dr. Zoolander, whoever it is, your body's going to do this.
So right now I want you to write down three or four things that you can stop doing today.
Focus on what you're going to stop doing.
Try to get more aluminum-free, unscented deodorants.
Drink water that's clean.
Stop drinking out of anything plastic.
Stop eating out of anything plastic.
Replace your Vitamix plastic container with a stainless steer container.
It's $100 on Amazon.
but stop mixing things in anything plastic.
Stop eating food out of black plastic.
These are all chemicals, leaching.
And if you're listening and you're getting sick or you've been sick,
you have to stop introducing toxins in your life.
Get a hepa filter.
So one of the best books, if you really want to look into this,
is Dr. Joe Dispenza, The Toxin Solutions.
A great part of it.
Air, food, water.
You've got to get rid of the toxins there.
So what are you not doing?
You're trying to get rid of the toxins in your air, food, and water.
Example, help a filter, start learning about how to reduce.
mold in your house, learn how to sleep better, you know, make sure you're getting rid of
EMF waves, dirty electricity, stop putting a TV in your bedroom. These are all things that people
don't think of that do make a difference and help give your body that power to heal better,
to fight better, to get out of the stress, to heal at a cellular level. So another thing is big,
if you can just stop drinking alcohol, I promise, even if you're like, man, if you're sick,
dude, just give me 60 days. Yeah. Give me 60 days. If I'm here with Dylan, I'm like, Dylan,
in the best shape of our lives, man. Let's be better at 45 than we were at 25. We're going to
get rid of alcohol. We're going to stop snacking on junk food. We're going to open less wrappers.
We're going to eat real whole food meals that we cook at home. We're going to, because Mother Nature
already figured it out. Try to find high sugar content in nature. What if I told you that one molecule
will help keep your body system cleansed, supported immune health, and cellular protection all at once?
I'm talking about glutathione, aka the body's master antioxidant.
It exists inside nearly every cell, helping to protect DNA, proteins, and cell membranes from oxidative stress,
as well as playing a major role in liver cleansing, mitochondrial energy production, and immune balance.
Unfortunately, pollution, toxins, and stress can rapidly deplete glutathione levels,
and as we age, glutathione production decreases as well.
And many traditional glutathione supplements do not absorb well,
making it extremely difficult to raise intracellular levels where glutathione actually works.
And that's why I use gluteril, the multi-patented topical glutathione developed by the amazing Dr. Niam Patel.
Instead of relying on digestion, gluterill absorbs through the skin,
helping provide a convenient and consistent way to support the body's most important antioxidant system.
So use my link in the description and code Dylan to save 15% off today.
Dylan, what food is high sugar content in nature?
I mean, good luck, aside from fruits that have now.
natural sugars in them. I mean, what? A banana, right? Yeah. I mean, okay, where does a banana grow in
America naturally? We got that from another country and a continent. And when does it grow? The summer
only. Right. Like, the world already figured this out. Yeah. Just go back to the wave. Like,
just go back to the divine of what is. Eat seasonal. Eat real food. Stop drinking alcohol. Stop snacking.
Go to bed at the same time. It's not, you know how we always joke in society that you're like
an old man if you go to bed early? We all joke.
even people in natural medicine joke.
Oh, I'm in bed by 9.30.
I'm such an old man.
That's how your body gets empowered.
That's how you engage the parasympathetic.
That's when your body detoxes.
That's why we don't eat at night
because we're in a fasted state
to clean the liver, to clean the colon, to clean the cells.
So listen, reawake what the intuition.
You know what? Help me decide on this.
I'd say, everyone, if you could just meditate
for 20 minutes a day, breathwork, meditation,
or use something called my sensate.
This helps engage the parasympathetic,
and it works with sound healing.
and this so just the biggest thing it did for me
is help me think better
like I'm gonna do that
okay I'm done with that
I'm done with that relationship
that's what I do with prayer every day
and that's the best moments of clarity I have
for when I'm done action
yeah
because then everything opens up
but you it's
and I struggle with this
and I try to tell people about
that you have to have the ability
to shut down and shut off
and just be in silence
and the prayer for me helps
but then sometimes I talk too much even then
and it's like, I just need to be silent and let everything around me slow down.
And then once you kind of get into that place and you take a few moments, like, for instance,
I never take the day off.
We went instead of going to Mass on Saturday night for Easter, we went Sunday.
And I went and I said, you know what, I'm going to try this.
I know how hard it is for me.
Mom, you come over because you always complain.
I don't spend time with you.
Wife, I'll do the same with you.
And you guys are right because everything that I'm taught is you were creating.
I needed to take a rest.
And I'm telling you, man, I didn't make it the whole day through.
I had to do cardio and go to the gym, but I didn't work all day yesterday.
And I told them, okay, we're going to start doing this, this pattern every Sunday because I need this.
And part of the reason I'm not as healthy as I should be is that.
Yes, the prioritizing of rest and understanding that without the rest and recovery, all this
training, all this working, all of this nonstop, my phone's going off.
I got to answer this question.
I've got to record this.
I got to do that.
You're not really, really making any sort of progression.
You're actually digressing from life.
For what you're saying, Dylan, that's a redefining of what success is.
And all of us are thinking that.
Is it more money?
Is it more time?
Is it both?
Most of us want both.
That's what we're after.
Right?
We work harder so we can have both in the future.
But anyone who's sick, they also have to do the same.
We have the redefine success.
So for me, if I could just have a normal bowel movement that was successful for you,
it's also in this state, you're saying if I can have peace and still feel
like my life is moving forward, that I'm still hitting my goals, but I'm okay to take eight hours
and be present and not look at a screen or answer an email or be productive towards what work
needs me to do. I can be here and I can be present. And that's where we have to meditate and
understand what is success and you can't just say that right now. You have to keep asking
yourself over and over because the tide's turn, whether you just got married or just got divorced,
you just had a kid or you just had some sickness happen to you. Redefined success and start journaling.
and journal on a weekly basis to check in with yourself.
It's really a matter of being aware.
You know what I mean?
It's like so many people are just not aware.
And I was like that.
And I say this in my own personal problems,
which I like to document to everybody
so that I can use it as a prime example
and teach people what I learn from it.
And self-awareness and accountability
is like the big thing, you know, for me.
And when I figured that out
and made that more of a priority for me,
everything else kind of falls in line and you feel healthier too because you're not holding anything
inside you're not beating yourself up anymore you're not hiding emotions and feelings that you have you're
actually realizing you're human this is part of life i screwed this up but it's very very very very
fixable that's the thing is so many things are fixable if you let them be it's when you don't let them be
you get in your own way in your own path and your own thinking and what you just said kind of resonated with
me how do you define your own success or create your own success and that just hit me i'm at my best
when i take that rest as opposed to me thinking i've got to do this all the time and then i get so
stressed and i'm actually unhappy because i know i'm neglecting the people that need me and i'm
neglecting myself by not giving them what makes me feel good you know and so sometimes a lot of what we
have is self-inflicted most the time it is and that's where it's hard because
Because most of us just say, give me the supplement, give me the food, give me the hack, that's going to drive me forward.
But if you don't have the foundation of what is my definition of success and how do I place that for me, not someone else, you won't feel fulfilled in your life.
And it comes with this idea, and I use this word for this very reason.
You have to divorce this fake reality of what Western world teaches.
So what is that success?
So if we go to this idea of food, this is one of the hardest ones for everyone listening, is this idea of what do we eat?
And you probably even think the same.
Is it paleo?
Is it a carnivore?
We're taught to try to raise the flag of someone else's ideas.
So we wrote a book and they've got 500 degrees that says that carnivore's great or ketosis is great or vegan is great or whatever.
But at the end of the day, it has to be customized to you and you have to love it.
If you can't keep up the perfect diet, it's a shit diet.
I'll say it again.
If you can't keep up as a lifestyle, the quote unquote perfect diet, it's a shit diet.
Yeah.
Because it's not in connection with you.
It's not in balance.
consistency is worth more than perfection.
So you have to divorce this idea of what's perfect
and you have to get consistent before you can get great.
I love it.
Get consistent before you get great.
That's my biggest issue with some of the tools,
because I'm going to call them tools, not diets.
Keto is a tool.
It is a tool.
It's an ability to implement to fix something
but not stay on it permanently, right?
Well, some people need to
because if I've got someone who's severely sick
and they only feel great on ketosis,
Hey, let's run that for a while.
Let's not put bars on any of us.
No, I hate that.
I build your answer or not the answers.
And I got your back.
Right.
Dylan, we were considering to say, that makes sense for you.
But it's trail and error, right?
You have to test it out and see, and then once it hits its breaking point, have the ability to pivot.
Yeah, and understand your body that, man, this works for me right now, but this may not always be the answer.
See, here's my problem, Dane.
Is I've been in this world for so long where everybody has this one-track mind and that is it.
And if you're a paleo guy or you're a vegan or the carnivore people.
Plans.
Yes, they are.
And they are.
And it's like, it's my way or no way.
Once again, it's like the politics stuff we talked about and the pick and the sides and
this and that without the understanding and the correlation that there's a little bit from
every single angle that we can utilize.
And sometimes it's just learning that that is the idiotic way to do things.
But it's paying attention and listening and learning from everybody and everything.
And when we have that opportunity and we try it and we.
And we listen and we're more open-minded.
Well, shit.
Everything opens up.
I lived in this low-fat world for 20 years.
Pure misery.
And I was the exception as a nutritionist.
You know this as a nutritionist.
You're teaching everybody one thing and then you're the exception.
And then when I said, you know what?
No, I'm done.
I'm done.
Everything opened up to the like, wow.
I feel the best I ever day every day.
I just got the best blood panel in my life recently.
Literally. It just came back a couple days ago. I almost jumped out of my effing chair in my office when I saw it.
Right? And I went from 20 grams of fat a day to 130. Well. Yeah. And eating 1,800 calories to almost 3,000, depending on the day. Yeah. And the stress. But trying. Yeah. And where we're eating to.
But man, you know, and it's like I did this thing. And they said, well, with your genetics, you're a carbohydrate guy and you can't handle fat. And I said, well, that's strange.
because I do the polar opposite.
So you can't base it on all of these tests and everything.
Based it on real life reaction and what happens.
That pulls us into what we said earlier about the lab tests.
I completely agree.
Go off.
Go off you as a person.
Go off what your body's telling you.
Believe in your intuition.
Yeah.
Intuition first.
Now, the lab work can give you more information so you're not being, you know, a little bit, you know, loss, you know,
and you're not being, you know, someone who doesn't, you know, take that information at
put it in the mix with what the intuition is saying.
But what I just heard on you, Dylan, is like to be backed up in what I'm feeling and
what I'm experiencing and say, let's build your plan, Dylan.
Like, let's go up on the fats and let's tweak this because when you did that, you were
scared of A, B, and C.
So how do we cover your six on A, B, and C, while you try this do thing out?
We have to build plans that lowers our wrists, that people have our back, that it's okay
to try something, and we just make sure we're not going to go flying off a cliff.
That's it.
And if these doctors are, you've got to be careful.
That's the one thing.
If you work with people who are like, yeah, let's do it.
And they don't understand how to keep you good from the cliff.
Like, no, I have diabetes.
Like, no, I have boss.
No, I actually have no gallbladder in these things I can't do.
Yeah.
People, we have to be heard more.
So that's one of the hard thing is people listening.
They're not being heard.
As even I can hear on you, you haven't been heard by a lot of people you've worked with.
And so if it's not your plan, it's never going to work.
It has to be your plan.
Anyone you work with has to back you up, has to work.
has to work for you, has to build something you're happy with.
Here are my rule of thumbs to getting a great practice
and you're going to get your life-changing results.
If they tell you to do something
and you can't write two to three sentences
on why you're doing it, don't do it.
Don't do it, yeah.
If you don't agree with it and intuitively,
you don't go, man, I think this is fire.
Don't do it and speak up.
I just, I know you're smarter than me.
I know you just said a bunch of stuff that went over my head,
but I'm still feeling uncomfortable right now.
I need to break down why exactly we're doing this.
I don't feel good about that yet.
And sometimes we'll be talked into something
because they got 15 degrees
when we paid them $10,000,
some crazy amount of money to do it.
And so we just get talked into it.
No, it needs to be our plan.
We have to be the owner of it.
And number three is it needs to be something that's simple
because success is always simplified
and failure will always look hard.
If your plan is too hard,
your chance of failure is way higher.
Start simple, you can always graduate.
That's it.
It's like if I see you,
and here's another thing,
When you're working with a practitioner, if you're going to see a practitioner every three months or every two months or even once a month is like too much, the chance of you getting success to me is way lower.
I don't care who you're working with how smart they are. If you're not seeing them every two, three weeks, they can't control your variables.
So I've worked with people who've seen the best of the best doctors on the planet all the time. I've seen the most severe clients you can imagine with Crohn's disease, things like that.
the biggest advantage I have is I tend to meet them more often.
I hold them accountable to our success tracker,
and I keep track of every variable,
and I move it in a way that I know works for chronic disease
because I've been chronically sick.
I've been chronically sensitive.
You are sensitive.
Your body reacts easily.
If people tell you to do things,
you have 25, 30 years of experience behind you that says,
that's not going to work.
I don't care what you think you know
and what that clinical research said.
It's not going to work for me.
You're not, no, my intuition's going off right now.
Right.
So that's too complicated.
You gave me too much to start.
I don't feel like I can do all that.
How do I politely tell you this?
Now, what the worry is is, well, if I don't do a little, I'm going to waste my money
and time.
And we're not going to get anywhere.
So we've got to find balance on what's actually impactful.
So if we're supposed to take 30 capsals, what 10 actually freaking work have low risk and
high reward?
Right.
Like, where do we start and why?
And if I meet you sooner, guess what?
I can add in those two or three caps like that.
If I can't sit next to you on the chess board and what?
Watch your game in real time.
My use is so little.
I don't care how many PhDs you got.
Your use is little.
That's it.
It's you got to move in real time with someone.
You know what I, when I started to make the changes, I told my wife, I said, you know what?
I said, I know how to lose weight like this.
If this doesn't work, whatever.
But I'm not going to be miserable anymore and make you miserable along with me.
But the thing was it, you know, it's a marathon out of spread, right?
And everybody wants.
It's a life.
Yes.
It's a life.
That's the rest of your life you're trying to build.
You can't just jump all in at once.
Well, you want to be in.
If we win with you doing, it's like, you want to be in balance.
You're like, I can do this now.
No, it's not that it's going to be a luck and right, but like, this makes sense.
And this is the way I live.
And if something fear base comes up for left and right, I can always pivot.
But this is my new way of living.
If you were to see me tread and water like a little child, like I'm just going to, I started
with 937 beef and it was like six, eight ounces tested out, taste it like a mini avocado
tested.
Brother, then it got to be like two months later.
I was eating 80, 20 ground beef.
I was eating like triple the amount of avocado.
And I'm,
aside from steroid use,
I hadn't been that lean in my life.
You know,
like,
I was like,
whoa.
And my body was just like thriving on it.
And my mental clarity,
even on days I didn't sleep enough.
And I'm just like,
I'm not taking anything like no no tropics or anything for it.
Amazing.
Yeah.
And it was the whole world opened up.
And now there's not this,
you know,
man,
it gets to be a miserable thing when you don't address things and don't tackle them.
And it's,
you know,
making everybody miserable around.
you I won't never touch anything. My wife's like, will you try this or taste? I'm like,
no, no, no, no. Yeah. Now it's like, shit, whatever. Fear. Yeah, just before. It was. And now it's
like. But now you have a team. Yeah, they're safe. I do. And you, when you dive in, when people dive
into an experience of I'm sick and I don't know who to trust and I don't trust my own intuition and I've
been hurt or I just feel overwhelmed by all this craziness. Everything's conflicting.
You just got to start in the shallow end with certain small things because you're building trust with.
yourself and you're building trust with your team.
That's right.
And the fear is telling you you have to dive into the deep end or I'll be sick forever.
I have to do this all right now.
I have to go 100%.
And you need someone to look at you and go, no, go 40% week.
Next week's coming right around.
Yes.
Just go 40% for a week or two.
You can always add more.
Do you know what killed me with the fear?
When I was chronically sick alone, living in a house by myself,
reading books all day long and hardly could walk.
just so everyone can relate a little bit.
Okay, we're like, wow, Dane went through it.
Yes, I did.
I would look at these diets and be like, wait, okay,
I've got to only eat meat for the rest of my life.
Like, what's the exit strategy?
Or the banana diet, the frutarian diet?
Holy crap, this guy, I'm not going to say his name.
I didn't, I interviewed him.
And he's telling me I should be eating 20.
Like, no, it wasn't that much.
It was like 12 to 15 bananas a day because I needed 1,200 to 1,500 calories, 100 calories,
100 calories eats, plus very specific fats, like just an avocado and a little butter of
and I did it for like five days.
I just started losing massive weight,
and I was all late.
I'm six to a hundred and some odd pounds, you know?
So it's like you can get enrolled in this idea
that the answer is almost death defying.
And I think a lot of us have listened to that.
What I've come to find is I can do things safe,
test different foods and different even diets on the same day.
Let me show you how you can do that.
Now, if you're strict and you're really severe,
take that with the grain of salt.
Okay, guys, remember,
We're talking to everyone at once right now.
But this is what I realized.
I did the, I did SEDD diet, carnivore diet, keto a diet, frutarian diet, bone broth fasting,
intermittent fasting.
I did all these diets and I was just getting more sick.
I mean, seriously, I did them all.
And it was because the root issues were so sick, diet wasn't enough anymore.
If diet's healing you, that means you're not that.
You're okay.
Your body can recover.
If diet's not healing you, the root issues are deeper, we just got to go deeper.
We got to use food and drainage pathways, microbiome, digestion, nervous system regulation,
probiotics, all that, right?
Yeah. So what I did is I said, wait a minute, what if I took these fruitarian concepts and I put them in breakfast? And then I took these ideas that when I interviewed Dr. Gundry and I talked to Jordan Rubin and I looked at against all grain, I looked at paleo diet, I saw everyone agreed with like grains, oxley, polysaccharides. What if I did my food that specific? And I couldn't break down fats just like you. So then I said, well, what if I just did raw fats, no cooked fats with digestive enzymes just at low dose because you're going to be hard.
heartburn at first. And then I did a 20-minute meditation to increase my natural digestion through,
because when you're salivating in the mouth, you're in the parasympathetic. That's a sign. So how do you
know your nervous system is regulated? Just get yourself the salivorous. All right. A little hack.
I want to give everyone 100 hacks today, but just get yourself salivating. It means you're in the
parismpathetic and your digestion is already enhanced. I'm salivating, bro. So I'm not going to be salivating,
ready to go. And so, and then I can also use certain digestive bitters, peppermint, ginger.
Yes. Camamil. I can use maybe, I was to do. I was. I was.
take a little apple cider vinegar when your body's ready.
Not everyone, little like a half an ounce.
Put it in hot water, maybe with a little lemon and just throw that back.
And hot water. I've never done that.
I always do hot water because it gives me less reflex and less reaction.
Hot water also increases absorption.
Yeah.
Here's another hack I noticed.
If you have digestion problems or micro bottoms, stop drinking cold water.
It's bullshit.
Cold water is, okay, my children have never drank cold water.
We were out and about the other day, and they gave me a cold water,
and it gave it to my two-year-old and he was like,
what the heck is this?
Room temperature or hot water, or hot water,
it's going to increase absorption.
It also mitigates how much water you drink
because water dilutes the digestion.
Is that why I'm constantly in dehydration
because I drink so much cold water?
It could be. Try it.
So if you're feeling dehydrated,
you need more, oh, I'm not just feeling dehydrated.
My panels reflect it,
my heart rhythm when it's off reflects it
because of the dehydration.
Okay, hacks, I know Dylan,
everywhere is probably going to love,
you know, whatever we're going to work for Dylan.
It's going to work for everyone else.
pinch of salt under your tongue once or twice a day
if you're feeling any dousy,
any kind of dizziness or feeling under the weather
that will get you up and will help with your heart rhythm as well.
Second, you need electrolytes like a good big dose.
Do it a lot.
You do a lot twice a day.
Okay.
So I used to get dizzy when I was dehydrated with IBD
because I couldn't drink straight water.
It had to have electrolytes every time I drank it.
And I couldn't drink it fast
because I had all my water soluble vitamins were so low.
It would just flush me and I get dizzy.
So a pinch of salt and then electrolytes.
twice a day can really help with that.
And then you could also use some other, like high-dose magnesium.
I like a company called Upgraded Formulas.
That one's got a specific magnesium that's basically as close to nanomagnosum as possible.
Check them out.
Family-owned, just a young buck who's gone above and beyond to make one of the best
magnesiums there is.
If you get severe cramping in your body, get his magnesium of chelate with B6P5P
does wonders for cramping and pain.
I got a whole breakdown for that.
But that will do wonders for like, you know, that energy, that heart,
you need more electrolytes, more salt, you even pinch salt in the water.
And then you got to enhance that digestion.
Well, things we talked about, like the getting your self-salivating,
any kind of digestive bitters, apple cider vinegar, all before you eat.
Now, when I eat, I only drink hot water because I'd only, you sip on it.
So it dilutes it.
You don't want more than four, six ounces of water when you drink food because it can hurt
your ability to break down the food.
dilutes the stomach acid. You want your pH at 2.2 to 2.4. And if you've got low stomach acid,
you need to enhance that as much as possible and not dilute that food breaking down. And that's
where you also need to be careful. If you have bad digestion, here's your rule of thumb with food.
I don't care what diet or what camp or clan you're in. Okay. No seeds, no skins. If you can't
squish it, don't eat it. Okay. No seeds, or skins. You can't squish it. Don't eat it.
Now, this is for people with excessive. Now, it's only rule one. Yeah, well, I can go to rule five, six,
8, 9, 10. Sure. But if you don't know where to start and you're getting cramping, undigested
food in the stool, severe bloating and gas, I want you to make sure that everything you eat is juicy,
something you could give to a 15-month-old kid and something that's how you hardly have to chew,
soft and delicious. Now, I like to help our spear with this idea, and I tell you, just eat like a
king. If you were a king, you wouldn't be eaten dry carrots that you're chilling out.
Juicy, soft, delicious, meat coming off the bone, hardly have to chew. It melts in the mouth
coming out of sterling silver looking great.
That's the food I want.
That's what I'm going home to eat right now.
Eat like a king.
Stop eating hard food.
And the thing is, you can't give.
What is insoluble fiber?
There's two forms of fiber.
With food, I'm going to give everyone a quick little thing,
a little hack on food.
Fiber is the indigestable matter found only in plants.
The basic understanding for everyone who's just a human
and not a PhD scientist listening right now.
Fiber is only found in plants and it's indigestible.
There are two forms of it.
Sollible fiber and insoluble fiber.
Insoluble means it floats on water.
Sollible means it absorbs water.
When it absorbs water, it makes it squishy.
When it doesn't absorb water, makes it hard.
If you've got a bad gut, how are you going to feel about eating some raw kale, some almonds?
You're going to be pooping out almonds and kale and corn.
No thanks.
No thanks.
So think about when you're looking at food and if you've got a hurt gut, just look at it and say,
was it made normal without all the crap from modern day?
And is it something that could give to a 15-month-old child without injuring them?
if those two answers are yes, that they're okay,
then the chance that you're going to get more bioavailability
and less inflammation and potentially better mitochondria
because everything's going to absorb better is much greater.
Yeah.
Now we're at plants.
I love it.
Hey, I learn from all the clans.
I've learned from them.
I've interviewed.
There's so many great things about carnivore.
I'm not dissident.
There's so many great things about even paleo.
There's some benefits of even.
That's pieces of everything.
Dude, just, just cherry pick.
That's what I do.
It's cherry pick.
Just grab.
App from everybody, guys.
I call it food philosophy.
So build your food philosophy and forget the lifelong diet.
It's the same with training and bodybuilding and everything.
It takes bits and pieces, put it together and make something perfect for yourself.
Yeah, exactly.
And it changes.
I mean, there are times I'm going to go on long runs, where now everyone says, oh, long runs are suck.
You should do high interval training and just lift weights.
That's the best thing for the body.
It's like bullshit.
Well, sometimes I like leg turnover.
Yeah, that's such nonsense.
That's a whole other fight that we have to have.
But it is.
It's good.
And it's like a paradigm.
a good pertaining to context of the conversations.
Right.
And you're in prison yourself.
So a diet.
And remember, just the word diet, it's going to cause trauma to your soul.
The word diet just means short-term imprisonment.
For what?
To get in shape, to get abs, to look better, or to kill disease, or the common reasons we go on a diet.
A person who's vegan, what I respect most about them is they're not on the diet.
That's a belief system.
That's a lifestyle.
So they've freed their spirit from the diet imprisonment.
When I say diet, I say, that to me is my food.
structure. That is my food diary for the day. When I say that, it's never, I'm going to go on a diet.
The diet is my structural eating pattern for whatever the day is or whatever. That's my diet.
So what is my diet? It's like 40. It's a 40, 40, 20 is normally what I'm on. And that's just a
percentage of what I eat. And that's just, and so if we start with these basics and everyone goes,
oh, Dane, what about this? What about that? That's just where you add the kung fu.
Yeah, go from yellow belt, the black belt. But you start with the foundation.
right just start with the foundation here because once I say that I know it can be true for anyone I didn't offend anyone by just saying no seeds or skips you can't squish it didn't need it unless you're raw person who only eats nuts and thinks it's the only way you can heal right so if you start from there now I can eat raw food I can eat nuts and seeds I eat them every day I can eat a variety of food and when you heal the gut here's the crazy hope I want to get everyone I couldn't have a sip of water I couldn't I ate like six different foods for about a year like I could not eat anything mm-hmm
Now, I could, if I wanted, I could have a salad.
I can eat Papa John's pizza.
I could have McDonald's.
I could eat anything.
My body can handle.
Is it good for me?
No.
But there's biochemistry, the structure of my body is so strong, it can now handle it.
Now, I want to give a metaphor to give everyone that fire in your belly up that this is not a sacrifice.
Invest in your best self and you will be free.
You will be free.
If you tear your ACL, just like your gut, let's say your gut is like a torn ACL, okay, metaphorically.
If you tear your ACL and you build it.
that thing back, if you take a hand on the basketball court, you're still going to be okay.
The ACL can now take a little bit of stress.
If you do it every day, yeah, you don't want to do that.
You could re-taire it.
But you can celebrate.
Your body can handle it.
So I don't cheat.
I don't got a diet.
I got a lifestyle that makes me happy and makes me healthy.
And I am passionate about living my best life, which gives me freedom and I love to eat healthy.
I don't poison myself because I've changed my perspective.
but I can celebrate whenever I want, however I want, right?
Because my gut is healed because I am strong.
And I built my shield.
I built my Batman belt.
That if something's not going wrong,
I know how I'm going to use peptides.
I know I'm going to use hyperbaric oxygen.
I know when I'm going to do a parasite cleanse.
I'm doing one right now.
Plus, I'm doing a peptide stack right now.
I know how to look at food and make a difference if I'm not feeling good.
I know when there's a potential for viral reactivation of my body from cytomalibirus.
F-seembar virus.
I know how to check it.
I know how to kill it naturally.
I don't need antibiotics.
I don't need medications.
I haven't taken a drug since 2015, 11 years ago.
I know how to prepare myself for a colonoscopy.
I know how to check my blood work.
I know how to look at what actually is going on in my body
and not just rely on a diagnosis to tell me what my future is going to be.
So this is what it is.
I want everyone to realize from this podcast today, get empowered, become Batman.
Put your Batman belt on, start learning, build a foundation, and grow it and build your
answer because everyone around you works for you and help build what you want.
So if you want to get off medications, talk to your doctor about to build a plan.
If you want to be in great shape or want to get buff or you want to be able to run for
or get married and not worry about a bathroom or get rid of that skin issue or feel free with
nutrition and get out of food fear, man, build that plan and build your team and enroll people
around you who are of integrity and of trust who can really help you out and can really do it
because you're never stuck.
The body is divine.
It can do 100 different things.
And there's so much stuff.
I mean, we carry like 150 different skews of supplements because we want to tweak this for
this person single ingredient, powder, dropper, capsule, multi-ingredient, you know, like,
what are we doing?
Why?
And don't be stuck.
And I think one of the last traumas of hearing people is, do I have to take this for the
rest of my life?
No.
If you want to make a plan and say, I want to heal and never have to take a supplement, go
ahead.
But you're going to have to be one of the most strict people as far as your lifestyle, because
supplement supplements these Western world living and the crappy air outside and the
crappy food and the crappy water.
because our liver isn't strong
if to deal with man-made toxins
that God never put in
our world, we put in our world.
Yeah, you have to be able to accommodate
the living conditions because some things are simply
out of our control, no matter how dry, you
can try to eat perfectly and try to eat
all organic and clean. Shit still
sprays over. You're never going to avoid it.
Move out to where, get out of the Western world,
you know, practice more three, five-day fast and let your body do
you know, your pitophagy. There's a lot of ways
you can do it. But
build a plan that brings you balance in your life.
If you're a mom, if you're a dad right now listening,
just make sure you go, I agree with this.
I like this.
Stop hiring people just to tell you what they do.
Hire people to train you to get empowered.
Thank you. That's the key right there.
Don't hire somebody to do what you just said,
to just be a dictator and tell you this is the end of LPL,
because that is just not the case for any human.
There's no such thing.
That is the most ridiculous thing and the most abusive thing that I see anymore.
And I think that's for a variety of reasons, and I won't throw the stones on everybody.
But some people just like to think they're in control and know everything.
And it just doesn't work for everybody.
It just doesn't.
It's a structurally different for everyone.
Absolutely.
Now, I'd love to give some people some hacks they can take away today.
That can be life-changing, potentially get them of these.
Clinical remission.
For me too.
Okay.
So number one is you've got to get beneficial bacteria into your life.
Now, assessed, beneficial.
So what is beneficial bacteria?
It just means single cell living organisms that work in unison with you as a host.
Now, if you're a good host or a bad host, those beneficial bacteria will work differently.
Right.
But get beneficial bacteria.
If you don't have mass cell activations, severecebo, start getting in a really good sourcrow.
Maybe a kefir.
I like fermentation fairy as a coconut crefer wildcrafted, but it's strong work up to it.
A raw supercrowts makes really amazing crouts with digestive supports.
They add herbs and bitters to help with digestion, help with anti-inflammatory response.
They've got amazing sourcrowds as a starter for anyone who doesn't know where to starve.
But again, fermented foods are a problem if you're so sick.
Third, natron probiotics, single-cell or single powder form strains.
So every strain is in its own powdered box.
So I take only bifidobacterium bifidum or I take only acidophilus, only bulgaricus.
It's the best way to start with living beneficial bacteria that can actually get through the stomach acid.
Okay, that's going to be great. Get in some beneficial bacteria. Next, clean water. We said get rid of, don't drink, don't buy $8 water at the store that's in plastic. Okay, glass only, Mountain Dalley is going to be great. Get a home system that makes your water clean because it's the best investment you can make. You know, I've got a triple filter water system with hydrogen water that I've been using for eight years. And it's just at home, all my kids drink it, my wife drinks it. That's going to be great. A whole house water filter system also can be game changer to stop cleaning your salt.
from chlorine. Stop, you know, having these radioactive compounds. I did that. Right? So clean that out.
A helpful filter also. Like if we can get rid of toxins, just a clean help of filter. I love the
Jasper. I love aerodctor. Get the bigger ones. The smaller ones. The small ones don't work so well.
Get the bigger one. Next one that's going to be actually not going to cost you a dollar is stop snacking.
It doesn't make sense for humans to snack. For thousands of years, there wasn't that much food.
No. And I know it's okay when we're out and about, but try to, like, it's like, it's like,
The 80-20 rule.
If you can build your new lifestyle,
divorce the Western world
and do it 80% of the time
you're going to win.
Yeah.
So if you give yourself 20%
hey, it's the weekend.
I'm out of bowl game.
I'm with the kids.
We're at the zoo.
That's fine.
Like, get in balance.
Remember, consistency is worth
more than perfection.
Stop snacking three square meals a day
and eat when you're actually eating.
Now, another hack is if you want to have
beef tallow master chips or whatever,
and you're like, oh, I love my chips.
Have them with the meal.
Exactly.
Have them with the meal.
Have the snacks with the meal.
You're eating the right kind of meal.
it should be so satisfying that you don't need a snack.
And not, but I love my snack sometimes because, listen, every once in a while, like,
that's why I love the monster chips or the beef tallow tips, T-I-PS, is salt, beef tallow, organic potato.
Yeah.
And it's like, I'll just, can I say, a little bit of those with some homemade guacamole with a steak
and a homemade salad.
That's what it.
Yeah.
I'll give everyone a hack on salads.
Over all my salad lovers out there, this is how you get the salad back in.
Okay.
Arugula, lettuce, no kale, no spinach, because it's too high in oxalates and it tears up your gut.
So a rugula, like a house mix, then you have to, the key is, you've got to then let it sit in an acidic dressing.
Okay.
It'll break down all the bacteria that's raw on it.
It'll kill it.
It'll break down the leaves.
So you'll see the volume of the leaves in the bowl go from this to that.
You've ever seen that?
Yeah.
You've seen a salad that's an hour old at Thanksgiving.
You're like, what the hell happened to my salad?
It's half the size.
You're like, what the hell happened to my salad?
It looks gooey now.
So that's breaking down the leaves.
So homemade dressing to start with.
Manuka honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice.
Really?
And if you like it, a little dash of balsamic bina red.
Let it sit on your leaves for just seven minutes.
The volume goes, got to text me that, please.
You can listen to this back.
Yeah.
Manuka honey, I say, a good, nukkah honey.
Okay, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice.
And if you want a little to zest to it, a dash of balsamic,
the acids break down the leaves, they kill off the bacteria,
and they enhance your ability to digest because it's already slightly bright.
Right, right.
That makes sense.
I'm going to add a little dried cranberry, a little oranges, a little skinned apple.
if I want, maybe a little bit of sprouted pecans or walnuts in there.
Maybe a little, if I can handle it, I'm going to start on dairy.
A2 raw cheddar cheese.
A little cheese, if you can handle the dairy, I did do dairy for seven years.
Once I fixed my gut, I started working in cheeses and yogurts, not raw milk.
That will blow you up if you're starting to work dairy back in.
Yeah.
But you've got to fix the gut.
You fix the parasites.
You might see that your dairy use comes back up, right?
So that yogurt, dude, I just...
Now I've got antioxidants.
I've got more fiber.
I've got all what the plant world's telling us about.
Like, you don't understand the value of all these plants
because the top 10 anti-cancer things are plants.
They're right.
There are plants, right?
That's going to make a big difference in your life.
As we've talked about, stop drinking cold water, hot water,
do hot water with lemon or teas at dinner.
You'll save you tons of money at the restaurant,
tons of money buying plastic water bottles filled with crap,
microplastics, and get rid of the microplastics, right?
That's another one.
Just get rid of plastics in your life.
We talked about the Vitamix.
We talked about storing things in plastic.
We talked about imbizaline.
Get that stuff out of there.
Go to braces if you have to.
That's going to be a game changer.
Probiolics absolutely going to make a difference.
And then another one that could start today is castor oil packs.
Yes, yep, yep, yep, yep, yeah.
You got to move the liver.
If you're unsure, get the liver moving.
Start with an Eps and salt bath.
Castoral pack for 30 minutes, up to eight hours.
You just take Queen of Thrones.
I love her.
Put that on the castor oil.
Put it over the liver.
You know, do it americol?
Okay, yeah, she's amazing.
Put it over that liver.
Get the liver moving.
Body freaks.
calm down, you're having a Hercimer reaction.
That just means that you need to do a little bit more prep work for your portion of the liver.
I've seen people do these things and get life-changing results, work on drainage pathways, build
the microbiome, enhance digestion, get the nervous system right, build the foundations,
make it make sense, make it simple.
And then you can scale from there, and I promise healing as possible.
Okay, so I'm going to extend you a part two invite on air, because you and I already knew
this going into it.
This was not going to be a fraction.
And I want to come back and do like a whole thing centered around diet.
Maybe we can build a plan, like a nutrition plan and a supplement plan.
We can show an example day.
I call it the daily blueprint.
Like what's an example day look like that we generically see help people heal the gut?
You can have to do it.
If anyone has questions about that, DM, write it if you've been listening this long,
questions you have.
Maybe we can use some of those questions to help build an example daily routine for you.
Maybe we can even pull an Instagram live or something and do something and then get people.
Yeah.
The entry after we release and do all.
of that. Yeah. Because I think there's a lot here that we could work on and do together that would be
super impactful. Yeah. There's only so much you can do in one podcast, but you have to build the
foundations before you start talking about. That's it. How does nutrition make sense? How does it
relate to the pathogens? How does it relate to the nervous system or root issues? Like if I,
if I see mass cell activation, primary explosion, clangitis, endometriosis, if I see viral load,
it's going to change how I play with that nutrition. So, I mean, it's not like people,
don't know you, they know you, but you're a hidden gem, my friend.
So it's like my duty after this conversation to help you get in front of far more people.
Thank you, man.
Absolutely.
And I totally mean that.
Yeah.
sincerely, I don't have to say shit on here. I don't flatter anybody.
Yeah. Well, I appreciate it. Yeah. It is totally genuine. I know, I don't think I'm anything special. I'm just a guy who went through the fire. And I've just been, I just feel on fire to serve and be of value to others because I know what it takes to deal.
chronic as you have is special.
Like everybody else has something special,
but it's my specialty is
spotlighting people like yourself.
Thank you. That's my specialty.
Your specialty then is to convey it.
We knew when we were chat on the phone the other day, man.
I just wish I could, it's like, right now it's going through my mind
for everyone listening.
It's like, could I have given more?
Do I want to?
We have.
We could.
Opportunity to get money more.
I just want to see you guys win.
And I've just seen thousands of people win.
I've done this with thousands of people at this point,
you know, and we have, you know,
two doctors on staff and coaches around the world.
And I've seen people heal in Africa with, you know, doing these protocols.
I've seen people heal in India on an Indian diet.
Sometimes people can heal just by listening to this conversation.
I hope so.
The start of the healing process because it gives people hope.
And honestly, all of the diseases, all the problems, all the illnesses really start by having hope.
That's what starts to correct the problem.
And from there, then the implementation.
Healing starts in the mind.
That's it.
You can't get healthy to you get happy.
Yeah, but you have to have hope, and you can't be hopeless.
You have to be hopeful.
Well, and the hard thing we can talk about next time is how do you turn hope into belief?
That's it.
Because hope is a precursor.
Yeah.
The real thing you need, which is conviction, believe.
Well, I argue that's having trust in God, but some people don't like that.
But that's the fact.
Amen.
You know, but that's where it starts.
Can I tell someone real quick about my God experience, like 20 seconds?
Please.
I didn't get results.
My life didn't change until I started praying.
I paid it 100%
No it was real like I was I was going to the bathroom every single night
two to three times a night like I did not sleep to the night for months like eight months
or nine months straight and I was angry at God and I was so sick and so lost
I didn't just pray in my head I stood I decided that I was going to read Jordan Rubin's
prayer and his book The Maker's Diet.
Okay every morning and every night he had a morning prayer and a night prayer I taped him to my
desk and I said I am going to read this and I wasn't just going to read it I was going to physically
get on my knees I didn't care if my mom girlfriend or friend
saw me at 23 years old or 24 years old, and I was going to start praying on my knees with my hands
together every morning and every night. And I did for, I mean, 180 days. It's the only answer.
The only answer. What it did when I praying into rational, it gave me hope. And it made me feel
like it wasn't alone. And it started unlocking like the law of attraction. You know, the secret?
It was almost like this attraction of operations.
Opportunity of the words, opportunity and possibility.
They are God's words.
Opportunity and possibility started to fruit.
Yeah.
And I just fell on fire for like,
I'm done being sick.
I'm done being a victim.
I'm enrolling you on what's good.
I'm enrolling you on what's next.
And I just, I never looked back.
And I just, all of a sudden, I looked at my life.
I'm like, why am I watching these shoot-em-up movies?
Why am I listening to Limbiscuit right now?
Like, put on some Bob Marley.
You're trying to heal.
Forget the nookie.
Like, let go of the nooky.
No.
Put on some Jack Johnson.
Open the shades.
Get some son on your face.
You're pale as shit.
So true.
Like, what have you been thinking this entire?
It literally like an unveil.
It was like an apocalypse of unveiling.
It was like,
Oh, man.
Why have I been so angry with my father?
Like, call him up.
Yeah.
And love on him and love on yourself and put on the bomb,
Morley, and turn off the freaking crazy shit.
Yeah.
and start loving on yourself because you've got to let go to win.
I'll close with this.
Go ahead.
So instance.
And then you will tell everybody where to follow you.
Okay.
But if I had a dollar for everybody asks me, what's your secret?
And how did this get to where it is?
I'd be a billionaire.
And I have one answer.
And a lot of people don't like it.
And I don't give a shit.
It's the honest answer.
I spent a decade feeling sorry for myself.
Actually, way longer than a decade, just in this line of work.
But most of my life asking myself, why do I think?
I think I'm so damn good at everything and why isn't anybody seeing it to what it really is?
Why is it only some people?
Why is it never good enough?
Why isn't it translating?
You know what it was?
Because it was Dylan first.
Everything was about me.
Everything.
And I didn't realize it.
And once I went God first, this is what you see.
Because I don't give a shit.
I mean, I care about my health.
I care about.
I don't give a shit about anybody telling me I'm great.
I don't give a shit about somebody telling me my car is great or my shoes are great or I look
great. I don't give a shit about any of it. I don't give a shit if you tell me I'm the best at what I do.
I mean, I want to be. I give a shit about your face when I'm done. The faces I saw last week when I was
at a conference given a speech and I saw the impact that it made. The people that write me and tell me
I changed their lives, that's what I give a shit about. And that's why I'm now good at what I do
or being recognized for it because I don't care about all the other shit. I'm not a slave to anything.
I work for God. And that's it. And that translates into me, work.
for everybody else and doing exactly what I was put here and meant to do.
It's not about me.
It's not about you.
It's not about anybody else.
It's about him.
And it's about giving back to everybody what we were put here for.
Because if you waste talent and I waste talent and everybody else waste talent, that is the
biggest sin in the world.
But when we find what we're supposed to do and we give it and we mean it and it comes
from here, you're always going to be successful with him, which means you're always
going to be successful in what you do.
And that's it.
Amen, brother.
Yeah.
So,
Amen.
Sorry to rant on...
No, no.
Thank you for putting the energy.
But that's it.
So anyway,
you tell everybody where to follow you
so I can share this
in the description
and get ready for round two.
Everyone just listened to what Dylan said
real quick before you listen to me.
But that's beautiful
because it's real heart and it's truth.
Yeah.
He's risen, right?
So, yeah, you can find me on the internet, guys.
