The Dylan Gemelli Podcast - Episode #150 Mind, Body and GOD! Unlocking the path to obtaining FULL Health Alignment!
Episode Date: August 6, 2026SPECIAL EPISODE #150!!!! Mind, Body and GOD! Unlocking the path to obtaining FULL Health Alignment! For my 150th Episode, I wanted to provide what I felt would be the most IMPACTFUL message ...I have ever given. This is not about a big name guest or click bait hooks of any kind. This is simply about IMPACT... I want to provide hope and inspiration along with CLARITY to everyone. I have found that the biggest issue amongst people trying to learn and make changes is CONFUSION. Mixed messaging and extremism is rampant and it is causing people to lose hope in who they should listen to and what they should do in their journey through life. This episode is not a lecture, nor a scripted speech. It is a Holy Spirit driven message on what I have learned throughout my entire life on how to TRULY obtain Total Health Alignment. It is not a trick diet, use of miracle drugs or supplements, biohacks, "conventional man made medicine" or any other type of new fad and craze. It requires a full connection starting with a FOUNDATION. That foundation is GOD... when that foundation is developed, we then move to the mind and body and work on key aspects of daily life actions, changes, thoughts and practices that allow us to progress in becoming guided, healthy and fulfilled. My message may not resonate with everyone and that is okay, but I do want it to be heard and given deep thought. When we look into our hearts in silence and without distraction, God is there, waiting with open arms to carry us through life and to help us become our very best. THANK YOU to EVERYONE for the ongoing support and feedback! Each one of you inspires me to press forward, working harder with a deeper mission. I have only just begun and my goal to bring everyone to complete health is my mission and THY WILL BE DONE! _______________________________________________________________________________________ Today's Episode is Sponsored by JUST THRIVE Probiotics! Welcome back to the Dylan Jameli podcast, and it is my special episode 150.
And like I said, in my special announcement podcast, it's surreal to say the least that we're
already at episode 150.
I literally cannot believe it.
But today is a very, very special one for me, not just because it's episode 150, but today I'm
going to share with you the way that I believe one million percent with all of my heart and soul
is the way to become fully health aligned to the best that we can possibly get. And that is the
mind and body connection. And it's not mind-body spirit. It's mind-body God. This is my way
of conveying to you how I have grown as a person to become my healthiest, my most fulfilled,
my happiest and to where I finally feel like I have a direct path into life. And it's not about
Dylan all the time. Once I became God first, it became about everybody else. It became about my family,
my loved ones. It became about all of you. And I've been able to be my best for who I was created
to be. But to do that, you have to be healthy. You have to be aware. You have to be mentally and
physically healthy. And how do you do that? I'm not going to
to sit here and try to give you every single scientific breakdown of every possible scenario and
everything and you can say where's your science where's your credentials you can do that all day long and
that is fine do it do whatever you like i am going to give you what i have from all of my years on
earth from all of the ups and downs the successes the failures the miseries the perseverance the
endurance the overcoming the joy all of it all of the mistakes all of the corrections
every single thing that i've been through and every one of you that follows me know
is that I keep it as real as you can ever keep it. I'm raw. I'm not perfect. I curse sometimes.
I do things that maybe are a little bit unethical. God did not pick perfect people because perfect
people, first of all, don't exist. And if you go through the entire Bible, there were people that
did things that are troubling, strange, different. But they had something special in them that they had
to get released. They had to find God. They had to overcome different situations and scenarios,
which is exactly what I've had to do.
When you start to criticize others,
go look at your perfect south in the mirror,
and then you'll find that's not possible
because no human is perfect.
I don't judge anyone anymore.
Only God can judge any of us.
I critique, I understand, I learn, I accept,
I go back and forth,
and I do everything that I can to be fair
and be down the middle.
Now, mind-body, God, let's get into that.
Anything that we do in life has to have a foundation.
If you build a house, it needs a strong foundation,
your relationship has to have a strong foundation founded on love, understanding, trust.
If you go down anything that you have in your life, there's something foundational,
a structure that has a foundation to make it strong, to make it last.
Every contract, every single thing that you do, you sign something, you build something,
there has to be a foundation and that is where God comes in as the foundation.
To become fully healthy, to have that connection, to be able to relinquish,
to not have everything be about you, to realize that what you have, it's about others, it's about
sharing with others, it's about making other smile, it's about making an impact. I used to be so
into Dylan. Every single thing was about, how is this going to benefit me? How is this going to
make me look? Whose attention am I going to get? That is the most unfulfilling and it doesn't bring
you any joy. It keeps you chasing and what are you chasing? You can't ever figure it out. I have had
fame. I have had money. I have had countless things that I thought were the end-all be all of everything.
And, you know, I always tell people when I went to prison, I had to start from scratch. I went down to
nothing. And I had it all. I did not have it all. I had a lifestyle that I thought was great that was not.
I had a lifestyle that was leading me on a path of destruction. And had I not gone to prison,
I don't know where I would be, but it wouldn't be sitting here making this content for you.
And it wouldn't be doing the things I do now and making the impact that I truly feel that I'm making.
It would have put me on a path that I wasn't intended to go on.
Now, I put myself in the wrong path.
And, you know, I got an award this year at changing life and destiny.
And I said right there, sometimes you veer off course.
And sometimes you have to change your life to fulfill your destiny.
And that's exactly what happened.
And that's where I have come at this point.
I learned a lot of hard lessons that I needed.
I needed to go through that I needed to endure.
I needed to see what it was like.
And once I was able to see what that was like, that helped me to develop this appreciation for life and this understanding that the more negative that we are, the more that we try to depend on ourselves, rely on ourselves and be selfish and do everything that is about pleasing other people and about trying to be something that we're not.
That's not fulfilling. That's not fulfilling. And that does not make us healthy. When you have that connection with God and you have that ability to release, to talk, to realize that.
that it's about other people.
It brings you love.
It brings you joy.
It brings you peace.
And it brings you gratitude.
And when you have those attributes,
then you're able to become healthy.
Then you're able to start piecing it together because then we talk about the mind.
You know, I did all of this.
Studying and implementing and learning every single thing about nutrition and fitness that I could ever do.
And I mean, I learned it all.
I did it all.
I've been all over the world coaching professional athletes, training balls to the wall,
all gas, no brakes,
learning every single aspect of health, nutrition, anything, and everything.
But I couldn't get healthy, not fully.
Something was wrong with my nervous system and my mind.
It was always off.
It was always gone.
Something wasn't right.
I was always angry.
I was always anxious.
I wasn't able to be compassionate.
And then I started to have interpersonal struggles and battles with, why can't I stay focused?
What happened to me?
How did I lose my edge?
Well, I lost my way.
I lost my way first with God and then once I got right,
with God, then I had to correct my mindset.
See, I didn't understand anything about stimulating your vagus nerve, what all of the symptoms
were of being in a sympathetic nervous state all the time, not understanding how to activate
the parasympathetic nervous system, not understanding what your nervous system controlled,
and how much that our livelihoods depends on what our minds doing.
Then it started to come clear to me.
Well, what do I always say?
The best athletes always have the best mindset.
Mamba mentality. Yeah, Kobe was unreal, arguably a top five basketball player. And some people's
eyes, top two or three. That's not what this is about, but what it's about is what made him who he was.
Mentality. Tiger Woods put the fear in the hearts of men. They were terrified. Why? Because of his
mental toughness, because he put that fear in you. Michael Jordan put that fear in you. Tom Brady,
those guys were so mentally strong. They weren't always the very best athletes, but they had the strongest,
mental acuity and toughness and that made them the best.
And that has all the control.
If you're doing something athletic and you have to push yourself, well, how do you do it?
Is it all physical or is it mental?
Is it the, I can or I can't?
And when you say you can't, you won't.
And when you have a negative outlook, then guess what's going to happen?
A negative outcome.
Show me angry people that you look at and go, wow, they look healthy.
Show me people that are always negative and tell me that you ever look at them and say,
wow, I bet their blood panels look great. You never would. Never. If you see somebody that's always in a
positive state of mind, that they're able to stay focused more, that they seem more alive, more happy,
then what do you say? Chances are probably high. They're healthy. And it's not just because of
their diet, their training. Sure, that's a big part of it, absolutely. But it's because of their mindset.
You know, people that somehow miraculously get care to things, go check their mindset. The people,
people that have debilitating diseases or get diagnosed with some sort of terminal illness,
then somehow they make it through. Show me their attitudes. I'll bet you a million dollars.
They weren't down in the dumps thinking about how they were going to die soon and how they
weren't going to make it. No, I bet they were positive and they found ways to not only be a beacon of
light for others, but to keep themselves in a positive state of mind, which helped their
healing process. See, the mindset is key. But,
The mind is very hard to get in line if you don't have a connection with God.
When you have the connection with God, when you have the ability to talk to him, to listen,
to do his will, and you're going to find that, like Jesus said, the burden is quite light.
It seems on the surface like it might be a burden, but in reality it's not a burden whatsoever to follow that law
and to have that love in your heart because when you get in tuned with God and when you follow Jesus' words and his teachings,
Well, guess what happens?
Everything else starts to become a heck of a lot easier.
The things that you think are hard, they're not so hard.
It comes pretty natural and you actually want to do them.
You want to love others.
You don't want to argue.
You don't want to hate.
You don't want to have negative feelings or emotions.
No, no, no, no, no.
You want to look for the positive in things.
You want to be more open-minded.
You want to look at things from different point of views.
You become a lot easier to deal with.
You bring positive energy into rooms that you walk into.
You bring a sense of love and joy into people's lives, which then makes you a heck of a lot more successful because people want to be around you.
They want you part of things that they do.
You've become what we were intended to be, which is love.
That's what we all were wired to be is love.
So then that brings us to the body.
We've got God in our lives.
We got the right mindset.
But then it's the body.
We have to take care of ourselves.
We have to be active.
We have to watch what we're eating and we have to develop a greater understanding now of the harsh realities of what's in our foods.
There's addicting things that are put in our foods.
So we have to be aware of all of the different types of foods.
And I totally understand and I'm not going to sit here and act like everybody's got unlimited funds.
And for whatever reason in our world and society, which is completely backwards, it costs more money to eat healthy.
But you have to ask yourself what's more important?
And then you have to go down and say, can I prioritize certain things as opposed to what I may be spending my money on that's not enhancing my well-being or my health and prioritize getting the best kind of foods we can get?
You are what you eat.
So if you eat an animal that's feeding itself on terrible grains that's being abused and tortured, these are things to be aware of.
If you are eating a stressed out animal, they're going to be inflamed, they're going to have problems.
You're going to eat that.
If they're eating bad feed, if they're being fed all of these steroids, hormones, chemicals,
that's going into your body.
When you see labels, you have to be careful too.
Just because it says grass-fed, if it's not 100%, the eggs are all tricky now,
and they try to tell you that it's cage-free and put all these terms on there that don't mean anything.
And then they also have products that say heart-healthy,
which is some of the most atrocious marketing and labeling I've ever seen.
We have to learn how to read labels, understand that if a label that you're reading with the components
is longer than a cheesecake factory menu, that's a problem.
them. You want to get as little of ingredients as possible, unless it's something with a ton of greens and
vitamins and things of that nature in it. Remember, too, when you're looking at labels,
what's listed first is going to be what's the most within said product. So if sugar's listed first,
well, whatever you're eating is mostly comprised of sugar. Watch out for anything proprietary that doesn't
want to give you exactly what's in anything. Just be careful. Be careful with supplements.
You know, a lot of people buy supplements on Amazon don't know what they're getting if it's just sold from third-party vendors.
And also be careful of doing too much.
One of the problems in my world, in my sphere, with biohackers, is that they want to do everything under the sun.
And you start doing too much, you're going to have an adverse effect.
Pick and choose what you need.
You don't need to do every single compound and supplement that you see or every modality.
There is a fine line on what your body needs and can take.
balancing your diet and not listening to angry coaches or dieters.
Don't let somebody that is angry about you having a carb or a fat get into your head.
Those are the last people you should listen to.
Every human is different.
This fearmongering and this nonsense has to stop.
We do need some sort of carbs.
For some people, they need to go low carbs.
Some people do not.
Some people have a problem with it.
It causes them problems.
That's not metabolic flexibility, which is the key in what we want.
want. Everybody's different and you have to find what works for you. There's certain rules that are
going to apply and there's certain things that may work for some that don't work for you. If somebody
gets on and starts trying to educate you and it's just, well, this is what happened to me,
that's great to tell people that that's your experience, but that does not mean it's indicative of
what is necessarily going to happen to them. You need to be able to have so much data and
different experiences. See, I go off the premise of one size fits none. It's true. It's true.
trial and error. You're going to learn that as you grow older, as food start having more additives
put into them, and as things change in time and our bodies change over time, and whether or not
we are super active or not, you're going to have different responses. That's part of life. Life is
about learning. It's about change. It's a part. It's about adaptation. So you have to be prepared,
and you have to understand that things are constantly changing. And that's good and sometimes it's bad.
But that's life.
Not everything's going to be perfect.
No human is ever going to eat 100% perfect.
So don't let anybody sit on here and act like they never do one thing wrong.
When I give advice, it's always tempered.
It's always look.
This is what I recommend.
You're not going to be 100% perfect.
Nobody is, no matter how much of a facade they want to put on,
no matter how great they make their Instagram and their pictures in their life look.
That's not reality.
We're all human.
We all have emotions.
We all hopefully get up and brush our teeth in the morning.
go to the bathroom, take a shower, all of that.
Don't ever let yourself get so infatuated with a person or act like they're so above everybody
else.
People are just good at something.
Just because someone is in Hollywood or whatever else, guess what?
Somebody else is great at something too.
When you idolize people like that, like an actor, what does an actor do?
They act.
So don't you think on a drop of a dime they could cry or do whatever to fit whatever narrative
they have?
Just remember that.
that an actor acts, aka professional liar, because they're acting, which means you're not being your
true self. I'm not saying they're all liars or bad people. That's not what I'm saying. But just remember
what they're capable of on the drop of a dime and who you look up to for advice. And there's
multitudes of people that have really, really, really brilliant minds and zero wisdom. Knowledge
versus wisdom. A lot of smart people that know a lot of different concepts, but don't have
wisdom. What's wisdom? Wisdom is how do you use all of the knowledge that you have? I got really wise
when I realized I wasn't that smart. I was only smart by the people I put myself around them that I learned
from and then learn how to utilize it in the right way. A lot of people have a lot of smarts. A lot of people
have a lot of things that give them advantages over others, but they're not wise in how they use any of it.
Whether it's bad motives, just a lack of understanding, having wisdom far more important than having
knowledge, getting wise over time and realizing nobody's perfect, you shouldn't judge, you should
look at things temperately in life, do everything you can to enjoy every second you have and to
value time. I lost time that I can't get back, freedom, but I say that and it made me get a
deeper appreciation for the time that I had, but I also do value the time that I say that I lost
because it taught me so much. So I should always be careful when I say that because I lost freedom
but I gained a lot of humility and understanding which changed my life.
Mind, body, of the utmost importance to stay healthy.
But without God, I'm sorry, but not sorry.
The total fulfillment, the total health alignment for me and for what I believe in what I know to be true,
it's not going to be fully there.
When you get that connection and then you start to understand all the aspects of the mind
and the body, things change.
Things become clear.
Your purpose is there.
the love, the joy, the humility, the special moments become more valuable, less negativity,
more patience, all of the virtues that I never fully understood that I ask for now.
Instead of asking for fame and glory and all these things that don't matter,
that don't do anything for you once you get them, pray for the things that are going to benefit
everyone around you. Because when you see that you can benefit others, that's the best medicine
in the world. Because you can't get better feelings than that. See and smile.
I was having people tell you you made an impact.
Just smiling at someone could change their day or their life.
Everybody's got something special in them.
Everybody.
It's finding it and knowing it and realizing that even on your worst day,
you're never alone because God's always with you and loves you.
And when you remember that, it will always allow you to be your best
and to become your healthiest and your happiest.
I love every one of you.
I thank you so much for your support.
I thank you for everything that you guys do for me to help me to become my best.
because it encourages me to know when I help you and when you listen,
that I'm doing something special that I was put here to do.
It's not about me.
It's about what I can do for all of you with my words
and the people that I'm able to put in front of you
that I know have something special to offer
and that I, my job is to bring out the best in them.
So that being said, episode 150, stay tuned
for thousands and thousands more to come.
Dylan Jameli, signing off.
