Jameli podcast. I am really, really looking forward to this conversation today. I've had some
really good animated, in-depth conversations with my guests today. And I have to tell you,
I hit it off with my guests on a different level because we have such a same mindset about just
It's telling you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear.
And I think that that is one of the main things that has drawn me to you, brother.
And I appreciate you coming here to see me doing this in person.
So thank you for that.
Thank you for inviting me, man.
I needed a little trip out to the desert.
Absolutely.
Well, I got a little dry nose, you know, this Arizona.
I'm a Florida boy, so, you know, perfect.
Remember my throat might be a little off here.
I can't say enough about my guest today.
I'm going to try to give you the intro you deserve,
but I can't really sum it up into words.
But he's a physician.
He's a clinical researcher.
He's a world-renowned authority in integrative and functional medicine.
He's got 30, yes, 3-0 years of professional clinical experience.
And he's not that old, so that tells you he's been going.
And over 100,000 patient encounters across six continents.
Now, one of the things we're going to talk about today is he is the creator of the balance protocol,
which I have been blessed now to learn about that we're going to talk about.
but it's a whole system's wellness approach,
and it enables you to understand
how your unique biochemistry
holds the keys to moving you to ultimate well-being.
He's a leading expert in functional nutrition,
epigenetics, nutraceutical science.
I can go on and on and on.
He's a sought-after speaker.
He's got a damn sweet book.
He's got some products to talk about.
So my friends, welcome Dr. Anthony Beck.
Nice.
Oh, love it, love it.
I'm known for my intros, bro.
That's all I'm good at.
So about all that.
That's not how you got the number one, baby.
Oh, man.
Look, you know the biohacking industry.
You know the health, the supplement, all of it.
There's some great people and there's some bad actors.
Yeah.
What's your mission?
Well, and that's just it.
I mean, at the end of the day, I've been a clinician.
I haven't been working on getting famous.
Right.
And working on becoming great in my craft and, you know, training other clinicians around the world in balance protocol.
and so that way we can get fantastic clinical outcomes.
Right.
Yes, I'm a capitalist, but I'm a contrarian,
Christian and constitutionalist for all my Cs.
But I'm all in there while we're getting to know each other.
But the thing is with that,
is that I have had the blessing of people seeking me out
when all of that N equals one and quantum and biohacking goes awry.
because if there's power in mechanisms and various molecules, supplements, protocols, and so forth,
that means they exert an effect on the body.
Well, most of the time, people are exploring those things as they should.
I'm a big advocate of a person taking control of their health care.
And without any quantification.
They're really just going, oh, well, I heard, you know, microplastics, but they're not testing for them.
Well, I heard about mycotoxins, but okay, well, I did the micro toxin test, then I'm going to detox,
and then they're doing detox, and then it's parasites, and it's heavy metals, and it's candida,
and it's, and it's all these things.
Could truly be true, but they're just trying things.
And I applaud that because you don't give up hope, right?
And what's so funny is, is when I stand up for certain things out there on the,
because being an integrative, you know, physician, I embrace the good of, you know, both sides, if you will,
you know, holistic, you know, I'm a naturopath and a doctor of Oriental medicine by education.
So that's where the doctor part comes from.
So I'm not a medical doctor, so I don't deal in prescriptions or treating disease.
It's never been my model.
But being in the integrated and functional medicine realms, you get your hands in a lot of things.
Right.
Haitians who want to try things.
It's a different demographic.
You know, there's a certain amount of people who will only go conventional medicine.
And there's other people that will only go this.
And that's a sad place to be.
And I understand both for doing it.
One side is like, well, these guys are quacks or not a real doctor.
I get all that.
And then there's like, oh, my gosh, I would never go see another doctor again because all
they do is push down drugs.
So they both are true.
Those are their, that's their encounters, their story.
And so I've heard all those.
I tell people famously that my patients have been my greatest teachers, right?
So yes, I've earned, like, 23 letters at the end of my name, but I don't use any
of them because I'm a person who has gotten into the stories of so many patients and they tell me
what they've tried and they've done this and they've done that and when the failures happen they don't
post those on social media everybody's always talking about hey I tried this and it was great
but then when things go awry I have one right now down in uh Columbia he heard about taking
some prednisone and he started taking prednisone because of histamine reactions and stuff and
he was n equals one in it. And lo and behold, he hits me up on what's that? This is literally just
two weeks ago and asking me to basically, you know, save his life down there. And I told him,
of course, go to the hospital. Yeah. Okay. Because he was taking 30 milligrams a day. No.
And people don't realize that like prednisone is what we call four times physiologic. Yeah. Right.
So it's the same thing as 120. Okay. Which is ironic. Real sidebar. I mean, we can go forever. That's actually
how I got into this field is because my mother had a nasal infection. She went to the doctors when she was
younger and they gave her a shot of prednisone, put her into a coma. When she came out of the coma,
she was a type 1 diabetic. Wow. So with that many, but now check this out. I love prednisone.
It's a fantastic. Wing used it properly. That's correct. There's a great book called The Safe Use of
cortisol. Yeah. That changed my life. So anyways, so this gentleman, a friend and patient of mine,
we have to do a titration protocol, which is just to stop them cold turkey. But
the moral of the story is. He was trying it without any testing or looking at it. And now he's
paying the price. So we've got him stabilized and he's back home. He's doing fantastic. We've got
him down to 12 and a half milligrams. Anyways, so that is my passion is to give patients a clinical
framework and a method that can guide them in these things. It's the order of operations. It's not
whether it's this is right or wrong. It's just here's where it falls into play. Right. So that's the
the long answer to a short question.
So you said integrative,
and a lot of people hear these terms
naturopathic, integrative,
and, you know, I get it.
A average everyday person doesn't know what that means.
Yeah.
So when you say integrative,
what does that actually mean?
What does that consist of for you?
Does that mean that you're taking each sides
of the equation, piecing them together,
and you're kind of like the guy that has the answers
that utilizes all aspects?
Because like you said, some people go one way,
some people go the other.
I always feel that it's better.
to stay down the middle and use all your options.
Right.
Because they're both having positives and obviously having negative.
Absolutely correct.
And so that's what that is.
So there's different terms.
Yeah.
You know, complementary alternative medicine.
Yes.
That's a department within, you know, that.
I mean, so it's in medicine, that's there.
So integrative is exactly that.
It integrates conventional allopathic modalities with things that work
in our evidence-based.
Okay, but it's also limited.
It can be pretty obtuse on a lot of things.
But like, for instance, there's even, you know, board certified, you know, plastic surgeons that
was Arnica and Arnica is a homeopathic, right?
We know that it works, okay?
Things like that.
Okay.
But then there's some people that will say, well, we're, I'm going to use, you know, this
herb for this disease state.
We see that in the, you know, in the holistic.
That's what I call it holistic.
That's my, I have to beat up on me.
Because you just get this whole list of.
stuff. Right. I remember back in the day in the health food stores, you probably remember this, too,
that prescription for nutritional healing by that couple who wrote it. Yes. And people go on there and
they go, oh, I have psoriasis when you take all of these. So it was really good for selling
supplements. And it still happens. And you could tell that in my functional world. So I was one of
the early pioneers and adopters in that back in right around circa 1994, 95. Oh, wow. At the end of the
day, it's grown. And then people use the term root cause medicine. Mm-hmm.
These terms are clumsy tools.
Right.
Because you'll say root cause, but then they name things like inflammation.
Right.
But that's like saying automobile.
Of course.
Right.
So a motorcycle is an automobile.
And so is, you know, a big old ram truck that's sitting out front.
Pretty dope truck.
Yeah, you like that?
It does my style.
So both are automobiles, but two totally different performances, everything.
So they'll use terms like that or leaky gut or adrenal fatigue or SIBO.
And even though they're saying they're treating the root cause,
No, they're not. They're using the exact same model as conventional does, which is treating a name it, blame it, claim it, tame it game entity with a list of supplements. You know, the medicine cabinet of spices.
Fricky verbiage, rearrangement. And it's brilliant sales and marketing. I'm horrible at.
Right. But, you know, a lot of people that are bad at marketing have the best intentions and really are more in the know on things because they're so dialed in and focused.
on the actual facts, then they are really kind of helping.
Yeah.
You know?
And not to say that there's not good marketing, because there certainly is, but there's
so much trick marketing.
And that's what I love about you in the way that you do things.
You're not, you have zero fear in saying what things are.
Yeah.
And I know that that doesn't make you Mr. Popular, but it does to me make you Mr.
desirable because I don't give a shit about the popularity.
I care about what's going to actually truly work.
Yeah.
Not Band-Aids.
Not nonsense that's going in and out, that you're just peeing right out, not trying to do 25 things at once when you only need two things.
Well, and that's just it.
I mean, the patients, to their own, you've got to give them a hard time, too, because they're talking to this.
Yeah.
They're in the now business.
Yeah, I know.
So, for instance, you know, we watch TV and you can only advertise pharmaceuticals, ask your doctor, but this is right for you.
So they can do that on open TV and media.
And social media, it's, you know, hey, this does.
does this, you know, and it's great for, you know, fatigue, insomnia, libido, muscle skeletal
pain, right? And then the next thing, the routine, and it's what I call the Furious Five, right?
So, you know, gut issues and pain and insomnia, you know, and then it's always that what we call
top of mind awareness is what I've learned from my marketing thing because I'm actually the
physician to a lot of the famous people that out there in the marketing space, you know,
and I've gone out to San Diego, I've stayed with some of these big names, I'm not going to name drop.
And because they tried a bunch of stuff, and then I'm behind the scenes and like,
hey, listen, let's do this.
And then they're like, well, Beck, you need to pick a niche.
You need to niche down.
You need to go, okay, autoimmune.
Women's autoimmune.
And I said, I can't do that.
Right.
Because I don't deal in diseases.
I don't diagnose.
I don't treat diseases.
I support systems for everyone.
And so, yes, you're a homeosapian, but you have a biochemical individuality and a unique
story and a genetics like anybody and like no one else.
And so you have to know what you're dealing with in order for any of that stuff.
So no pill potion powder, gadget or gizmo, can truly be given to you in the absence of knowing your story.
Much less what I do is your data of your systems.
Now, you can try it.
I'm not saying that.
You know what I mean?
It's like, say like any car or automobile can get you from point A to point B.
Right.
Okay?
There's tons of stuff like that.
But I go, that to waste you a lot of time and money.
And then in the meantime, things don't get better.
all at the, you know, advance of other companies.
And it's, that's really the epitome of what happens with the lure of the multi-level marketing stuff.
Oh, shit.
And so those models thrive on that.
But the entire market thrives on cognitive dissonance.
Yep.
It depends upon that for you to be a carnivore, vegan, pie base, bang, bang.
And it's just like when I tell people what I've done with my diet and they're like,
or are you going full keto?
And I'm like, no, no, no.
I'm just taking combinations of what works for me.
That's it.
It is not a name of anything.
It's Dylan's dialed in diet.
And you know how you feel, okay?
Because that's how it is.
Thank goodness we're not veterinarians who can treat a snake and a hamster.
They don't even talk.
The patient doesn't even talk.
But so you know what works.
So I listen to the patient.
That's the most important part because the patient is my boss.
They're in control.
I just work for them.
And see, conventional medicine won't say that.
No.
Why?
Because somebody else is paying the bill.
When you use insurance in cases shit, when you use insurance and he who pays the bills makes the rules,
they determine what goes on. Well, I tell people to demand a higher level of health care from their
providers. And the first thing in order to hold them to task is to tell them you work for me.
You don't have to ask, can I get this test done? Well, yeah, some else is going to pay for it.
Yeah. So back to in the cases such as yourself, you know, we did some testing. And the cool thing is
is now we can dial you in. So I'll support you. I mean, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've,
I mean, that was my background in sports medicine, exercise fizz.
And so I've worked with a lot of you were just at Mr. Olympia and all that kind of stuff.
I've worked with those guys, Mr. Virginia back in the day in the early 90s.
I managed bally's and sold gym memberships when I was in school.
We did all that fun stuff.
And people are on gear or taking the song.
I would have this come in there.
Okay, right?
And you're not going to have them not do that.
Right.
That's their mentality.
I know.
It's just like, you know, I have famous patients that are in mixed martial arts and things like that.
And, you know, top performers in, you know, Spartan and Tough Munters and all that kind of fun stuff and big name biohackers.
The thing is, though, is their, some of them get paid.
That's their job is to abuse themselves.
It makes no sense to sit there and get your head knocked around.
But they're going to do it anyway.
So I'm not to judge.
I'm going to say, okay, if you're going to do that, let's at least.
get some data to see what the consequences are so you can meet better things. And everybody's
wanting that performance. You know, because if you can, if you can add a pound to someone's
PR or reduce their time by 10 seconds, those are. That's massive. That's sponsorship. So we all want
that. And, you know, a lot of, a lot of people out there like to go after, I know, sports teams
and all the kind of fun stuff. And that's all great for marketing. But bringing the,
around is that I will help people support whatever they want to do, but we have to have
that trusting relationship.
I have to know.
Yeah.
Right.
And then we says, okay, let's see what the data says.
Right.
In other words, if you want to push harder in this, here's the systems that you have to look at,
right?
And if you're like, say, I'm not going to go on fancy gear.
Let's just talk about something like hormone.
Okay.
They're like people, like gentlemen on testosterone or women on vaginal estrogen.
Profound.
I mean, in 2005 to 8, I was lecturing at 8.4 AM, AM, AMM, MGM.
and teaching other doctors
about dental hormone replacement.
A lot of them are my students out there.
Okay.
The thing is, though, is they have their place.
But where my thing was,
was letting people know that you can put hormones on,
but they're all governed by vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids.
Right.
So you better assess those if you're going to do,
then not just put them in.
And so everybody's like, well,
these are the thing that raised testosterone.
Cells real good for dudes, right?
But who says you need more?
And who says that if you put that?
I mean, you ever seen the movie Fast and the Furious?
You know, you put too much in there and the system can't handle it.
Right.
That's what happens.
So that's where I'm going with this is because I really, whenever I try to make a difference in the health space, I call it the noise and confusion of the info space.
I ramble like this because I have a limited amount of time to let them know there is a different message.
And this is why you and I connecting was so cool is because how could we blend that efficiency?
and direction, but still honor and respect people's decisions to want to do these things and not
poo-poo any of these other companies that are providing a fantastic product. Right. Right. Yeah.
It's this more is always better concept that we live by. Here's one of the things that you and I
speak the same language on. And it's a variety of things, but in particular, what I, when we were
talking when I was driving home and I told you, like the light bulb went off and I was like,
I don't think you realize what you got here. It's, it's the ability. It's the ability.
to be able to convey that this is so singular.
So I coached.
When I really started, I was doing videos.
I discovered peptides and I was talking about steroids.
Those were the two things that made me get millions of followers.
Okay.
And no one was talking about him and I had a great deal of understanding.
But I would constantly get comments and questions.
Well, can I run this?
Can I run that cycle?
Can I do this?
Same with body bloods.
And I'll say, first of all, I'm not your dad.
You can do whatever you want to do.
You don't have my...
Exactly.
But secondly, I don't know.
If I don't sit and have a full-blown 30-minute to an hour conversation with you,
I don't know your family history.
I don't know anything about your current values.
I need to see panels.
I need to see this.
And that just pisses people.
Wasn't it?
Oh.
Because you didn't give me the answers that I want.
Exactly.
And it's like, hey, man, you can go ask any schmo out there what you want.
And they can tell you what you want to hear.
And then two, three months later, not only have you lost all your gains, you got no libido.
You're wondering why your liver's jack, where your kidneys.
blown up and why everything else is fucked up on you.
That's right.
And it's because you just wanted the answer that you wanted.
And you listen, I'm not the clinician for everyone.
There's certain people that I just don't resonate.
Well, yeah, it's totally okay.
I have other clinicians in my method that I match them too because I do that because other
people that are, my personality is different.
And, you know, I'm a ball breaker for sure.
Sure.
And I'm very fitting.
Some people need a little bit more coddling and that's fine or respect to right where they are.
But, and that's just it is they're in that.
business and they want what they want. So those people, that's fine, they're going to do
there. We're not a match. But those who want to apply the rule of rigor to do things the right way
and the right order over time to get there without these downsides, because there's a lot. And you're
not hearing about them. You know what I mean? I was just on a podcast recently. And, you know,
of course, you probably saw everything that this is relevant to this is, you know, debating urine
therapy. I'm, I oppose it. I think it's a ruse. It's a scam. It's a fraud for clicks to sell
private label supplements.
Right.
And cheap photobiomodulation
products from Alibaba.
That's what it is.
Okay.
But they need that sizzle.
Those people that resonates with,
then it'll come to me.
No.
So it's self filtering.
So I'm fine with all that.
Yeah.
You know, but either then I also get, you know,
we have our executives, you know,
our top, our C-suite people.
And they just want all the cool stuff.
Yeah.
I want the superhuman package.
I want $150,000.
you know for a light bed you know a PMF mat and the oxygen machine i'm going dude you got a lot
i don't do all that for about 40 the f you money yeah just got to throw around and and and then they get
nowhere you know and they do their little executive screenings and it's fun that you can tell everybody
they got the stuff that's it and take them to their room with all their shit yeah and then they then
those are the same ones who are well you know what now i'm going to open a medbed spot for
you know or or these you know these screening clinics and you come in
and we do all this stuff
and it's all in result things.
It's not foundational.
It doesn't get into,
and you could guide me there
because I'll start talking about
my lab array that I curated.
But that's what they do.
And this is what we wanted to talk about
was what is the problem now in our industry?
It's got a lot of media.
And people now know about red light therapy
or photomodulation, stuff like that.
Dude, I've been doing it for 30 years.
I mean, I've been using, you know,
methylene blue for decades.
The first peptide ever did was Melanatantan 2 and circan...
Me too.
Two pallid and five, maybe, because, you know, I got a little Cherokee in me.
I can tan.
But I'm an Irish boy.
I got some stories for you on that one, man.
Oh, boy, I went a little heavy to the nausea, and I'm rocking through the grocery store, and I'm going...
Dude, I lived in Maui when I did it.
You want to know how dark I was?
I literally had...
He was hanging tin, man.
On the long board.
Two days, I stayed home because I was embarrassed.
Yeah, it won't go away.
No.
No.
I still have, you know, moles from it.
But see, so peptides are cool.
Yeah, and those are fabulous, but I know that's all the rage.
Research purpose.
But, but yeah, so that's where we're going.
This is why we have so much fun is because all the stuff is there,
but I think now the market is ready for the message that how about you find a way to find your way?
Yeah.
And that's what I believe.
That's totally different, right?
I'm not telling anybody eat a certain way.
Some people do need to be carnivore.
Some people need to be vegan.
People need to do different things.
It's all on the table.
But I will show you the inclusionary and exclusionary criteria for you specifically and show
you that when it gets to here, you might have to shift.
But do you see why you're unpopular?
Yes.
No, but here is the...
Being in the middle, I was like, and I've been accused of that on other shows.
Like, oh, isn't that convenient for you to just be both sides?
Well, the problem is, is because what you do when it's going, okay, you need this,
you need that, you need that, you're not telling the whole room you need to go by this.
thing.
Yeah.
Right.
The perfect human diet or every homeowner saver needs it.
You're hurting somebody that's trying to sell to everybody.
And that's the problem with you that I love.
Nice.
Well, because I'm here for the people.
Listen, any human that will get on anywhere and act like they, oh, I'm just going to do that
for free.
I'm going to do that.
Just stop it.
Just stop it.
Yep.
Please.
Because no one buys that shit and it just, it pisses me up to know it.
However, we can all make a lot of money in a great way where we're actually
we're getting paid less for what we're doing because of what we're giving more of and still doing
pretty damn good. The issue is, is that when you start being a disruptive technology, people
are going to come out of you. Of course. And that's fine. Okay. I love people to substantiate their
claims. What I do is I share my professional clinical experience. Now, on the, I've even got a great
charge of anybody once, mine, it's beautiful, it's very nice, you know, the pyramid of evidence.
got the meta analysis and things like that.
Yeah, yeah.
All the top and then down the bottom, okay, is anecdotal.
Okay.
Anegedal what?
It's still in that.
So yes, all my clinical cases, like you're talking about, I've been involved in over
100,000, I'm between me and all the clinicians that I've trained.
I've rapid fire, we do, we still do it to this day.
It's all anecdotal.
But you know what?
I also know this.
When I was in college, I was in midshipman for, you know, I was going to the Marine
Corps.
I asked him where I was going to go.
I was wonderful, you know, the top gun days.
And I wanted to, I wanted to, I wanted to,
fly, you know, the hornets and, or Harriers, you know, any one, as long as it was Jets, baby.
But anyways, but then I ended up meeting this blonde and that changed my whole life.
We had a 16-year run, but anyway, so I digress.
But the thing was is that, so I have a very strong love, you know, for the United States military.
And this was, of course, I lived, you know, down the ocean front in Virginia Beach, Virginia,
right down from little crazy.
So I've always had, you know, fun with that.
A lot of my patients are famous Navy SEALs and stuff like that.
As a matter of fact, tomorrow I'm going to be on one's podcast here.
I was coming to ties with a call man,
come and do my show too.
So I do a philanthropy for the military special forces.
That's awesome.
Okay.
And so with that, those dudes are crazy.
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
The Delta dudes, you know, anyways.
And so my whole thing with that is, is that they talk about disruptive technology, right?
When you come in and you do different things, a lot of people are going to hate you
for it.
They're going to be very critical and whatever.
But if I can be vetted and get past those sons of bitches, it's a whole different ballgame.
You know, and I've had them, I have one, he's a Green Beret and he named one of his twin sons after me.
And I'm, there's, I've been blessed with so many cool lives like that.
So I know what we do works.
Right.
And so at the end of the day, when I want people to understand is, is that there are a lot,
the most that, with very few exceptions, 98% of the,
the ones that you currently see with all the followers that I got like what 20,000, 80,000 on
TikTok. Those are people who just worked on becoming famous. And they are, they're not a source
of correct information. And what the litmus I would submit to people is, can that person
differentiate me within what they're saying? Because in science, evidence, anecdotal, okay,
and when we start going up the tier of stuff, and when we do the scientific method, which I love,
Yeah, I was told in this other podcast I was talking about urine therapy,
they said I was in the cult of science.
And I said, yes.
I said, oh, I love the scientific method.
So the thing about it is, is that I said, the thing is, is in studies,
we do inclusionary and exclusionary criteria.
You can't test for things and be pregnant or not, smoker or not.
There's a lot of different things.
Right, right.
There's age groups and whatever.
But in, so what I want to realize is like, well, that's not being offered in the
health and wellness space. They're not different. They're telling everybody that. Women, you need
this. Yeah. Everybody needs to be on a methylated vitamin. That's bullshit. No, you don't.
I love you too. Because here's the deal. I see that. Everybody go, well, he said to do a methylated
vitamin. I have to be smarty pants. But I'm going, okay. And he's, did, has he looked at your record?
Has he, he, has he measured any of your stuff? There is no your story. Does he know what your gene
snips are? Oh, well, he sold me a test. You know, it's five snips and said, I had MTHFR. And therefore, I should
take methyl folate? And I go, uh, do you look at SMT? Do you look at, you know, there's so many that
they don't look at that are the true players. And so people are making decisions to do things because of
these famous people in social media. Yeah, I know. That's, that was one at my point. And I'm saying,
I'm not trying to say I'm better than then. I'm just saying, I don't know. Right. There's a lot of
things that I cannot comment on because the context is social. I don't know until I actually know.
That's it. And you don't either. No. So how about we get to?
together.
No, because you're just guessing because how many things have multiple similar symptoms?
That's right.
You know how many?
So I do a lot of hormone optimizing.
Okay, I've been doing it for years.
And I get the same story.
I'm tired.
I don't feel like having sex.
My mind's all over the place.
I need testosterone.
I'm like, it's the same thing.
Brother.
We got a lot of digging to do first.
You got it.
You may have low testosterone, but there might be a simple fix.
Yep.
And you may not.
It may be because you.
eat like shit because you're stressed because you're core i mean you know that there's cons yeah it's
endless and if i don't do due diligence and it's not just a and this is where we're going to go to the
balance protocol i'm transitioning so it's not just a a a cmp and a cbc right that is your basic basic
basic yes we need that data but that is like it's like the person that well my ldol my h
i'm like brother i need a full cholesterol panel that is telling me nothing i don't know anything
about you until I see your APOB, your LP-L-P-L-A, your particle sizes, then I can dig into your background,
then I can learn what I need to know.
Text hormone, buying, and gliding, all that kind of stuff.
Thyroids are involved in the proper thyroid panel.
With low testosterone.
Let's take a look at your free, and if it's low, maybe your SHBG is high.
And then we go, okay, well, why is SBHBT?
Right.
And see, so what I do is, is the boring stuff, the non-sexy thing.
And I go, let's talk about air, water, light, sound, EMF,
and food. Let's talk about your lifestyle, your environment, your mindset, and your nutrition.
And then let's take a look at vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids that govern all
of those. So I am the true root-root cause guy. Okay. You can't just say, oh, it's because
you start with the gut. I don't ever start with the gut. The gut does not come first.
That's what everybody loves to say, and I know it's sexy, and it sells all the supplements,
and the probiotics and the spore-based this and the things and the fecal transplants and the
Oh, and the enzymes, the hydrochloric acid, and then the mastic gum for each poor.
It's insane.
But I'm going, hold on a second.
If your lifestyle isn't right, if you have, I'm going to go a little woo-woo.
I want to ignore my voice like this and go, trauma.
You know, because, you know, I was, I had some trauma as a child.
Yeah.
Ditto, family.
It correlates.
Sexual abuse, herbal abuse.
You know, my mom, you know, she's passed away.
I say lovingly.
She's just a jar of dirt now.
I love mom.
She lets me, she's so funny.
But anyways.
You know, her thing was, is that she was an alcoholic, right?
Two pack a day smoker.
I was with her when she went and got her white chip at AA.
And then we were in, now I was in a smoke-filled room and all the coffee in the background.
So they go from one addiction to the next.
So I've got skin in the game, plus all this, it's patient stories.
So the thing is, is that you can't correct things with pills, potions, and powders if you don't have fundamentals.
And you share this with people, too, the value of sleep, prayer, meditation, laughter,
hobbies, connection, community.
See, that ain't that sexy.
You can't put that into a thing or wear the dongle around your name.
The fact.
It is the fact.
That's why people miss.
I know.
I have started to study neuroscience in detail and I'm piecing together parts that I've been
missing.
When you realize that you have, you can never know too much.
You can always know too little, right?
Yep.
And so what I've, and this sounds simple, but the mind-body connection in terms of what it
means to our overall health and scenario is absolutely everything because if you're screwed up
here, you're going to be screwed up here and vice versa, right? Because this can throw you off
up here. Anxiety, stress, lack of focus. It all correlates into one, but there's so many
avenues. Yeah. And so people can't navigate the maze. But see, those are the four things. So it's
environment, lifestyle, mindset, and nutrition. All are equal to hold up the stool. Yeah. Okay. And different
people have different balances of different things. Yeah, you can kick back on two and have the other one's
I'm a shit-ditty, you know what I mean?
You've got to play around.
You know, and you don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to be a purest.
People are like, what, Beck?
You drank alcohol and go, yeah.
I love a nice cocktail.
I can have one or two because, you know, I say, I'm Irish, but my liver is not, right?
I mean, you know, if I go, I might smoke a Stogie from time to time.
There's different things like that.
I can't use cannabis because it knocks me out because of my genes.
You're going to be, see, we're going to be very transparent.
But at the end of the day, I'm 53 years old.
I feel fantastic.
I am an optimal health and I love it.
I don't have a single health complaint in the world.
You know, beautiful little princesses at home.
My wife's 17 years younger than me.
And so I have a lot going, but you know what?
I still have to do the work.
Right.
And so, but then I still evaluate and things like that.
And yes, it's anecdotal.
And I'm not saying to not have conventional care because that's the other thing that's
missing.
You got to still go to the doctor.
You need that physical exam.
You need that hands on.
They need to look at your eyes, your ears, your nose, your throat, your reflexes, your
skin.
And don't get rid of that in conventional because there's a lot of early clues, right?
Because I'm a preventative medicine guy, not early detection.
Right.
So and that's where balanced protocol comes into play in our transition here is that that's what it is.
It is the protocol.
Right.
So balance protocol came out of a clinical necessity of how do we get people to navigate this complex soup of all these options on the thing.
It's like going to a cheesecake factory menu.
God, dang.
you know what I mean?
Despise me.
Me too.
I like an omacasa or something
you know where they're going to get it's like a small college course.
I'm here for the 10 course menu.
In Orlando it's the Victorian Alberts.
Okay.
So that's what it is.
So people come to me and go, just tell me what to do.
And I'm right.
Okay, cool.
Well, then let's look at these.
Now, CNP, Kim 14s, UA's and all that stuff.
Yes.
Those come later.
Yeah.
I start people in a different place.
Back to those vitamins,
minerals amino acids fatty acid because the functional labs, how they're functioning in real time,
can give you the indication of why these nonspecific inflammatory markers like CRP and said rate
and fibrinogen and so forth and so on, Malandalaldehyde go up. So when you see this,
you're saying, okay, I'm looking at this. Chances are CRP is going to be high. Chances are ALT is
going to be. Yep. And we're going to correct for it anyway. So then by the time we do those,
they don't show up. There you go. So I mean, it's, it's, I'm bad for.
business. You're hitting the actual core cause of the problem as opposed to, well, your cholesterol. So I
here's a statin. That's right. Yeah. And then listen, we're not going to end the debate on cholesterol,
good or bad. We're not going to end the debate on a raw milk or not. I'm not in all that. See,
my thing is I can show you for you. Right. If those are correct for you now. Yeah. That's the difference.
So I'm going, I believe these people, they're saying with passion and honesty that,
This is what they find and they have studies to substantiate it.
And so does their detractor.
I can explain why.
Yeah.
That's the difference.
I'm going, you're absolutely right.
You know what I mean?
And then I tell people at the end of the day, it really comes down to, see, they use the word salad.
You know, they go, we'll increase risk contributed to associated with.
See, it's risk.
No one uses the word cause.
They don't say that cholesterol causes our disease.
Well, cholesterol is not the lipoprotee.
See, it's word salad.
In Boundance Protocol, we have an adage called Context Cubed.
That was my way of seven people.
Most people have heard of real estate as being location, location, location.
So I say context, context, context, so then you have one context.
Then you're like, okay, well, where do you live?
Well, you're going to eat and you're going to have different environment, lifestyle, mindset, nutrition.
You guys got a good food scene here.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I've gone all back.
I'm beautiful.
It's so good.
Anyways, so I digress.
In Arizona, then you would in Florida.
Or you would in New York or you would in Sweden.
or Japan.
The lifestyle and the, tell me it doesn't change.
This is why everybody says, well, I go to Italy and I can eat all the pasta and it's not the gluten.
And I go, aha, exactly.
Well, here's why.
It's not because they have magical wheat derived simile.
I mean, I say, yeah.
It's because you're walking along.
You're not stressing.
You're enjoying things.
The air has changed.
There's so much more context queued.
It's a different life.
Yeah.
So then what do we do?
We implement that in the person's life.
But then guess what?
You can't take a person from zero to all that stuff.
No, no, no, no.
And then in what order?
What's important, you know?
So what blew me away when we were talking, and you know this because I said, oh, hold up, hold up,
was when we started talking about the diet aspect of it and you started telling me,
because I was explaining to you things I went through changed my diet.
And when you started telling me, wait a minute.
Yeah.
Wait a minute.
That might be working for you now, but that may not even be the key.
That's right.
Right?
So I, when I talk to people and I coach them, I tell them, to me, diet is literally the most important
because it has so much bearing and effect on everything.
You know, I mean, there's so many aspects that are important we have to address,
but if you, you can't outwork a bad diet.
Nope.
You can train all day long and you can't outrun it because internal.
And you can't out, you can't out eat bad lifestyle environment either.
No, you can eat perfectly.
And if you ain't sleeping.
No, sorry.
Facts.
Yeah.
Facts.
If you're in a toxic, you know, work environment and relationship environment and your things like that
and you don't have a connection or community thing like that, you can eat all the healthy,
wonderful stuff to private chef no there's no shortcuts no see what we're saying all of it and people don't
want all of it generally but i'm saying hey please no come to the light and and and realize that you need
to do all of it right because that's really what it comes down to be well tell me a little bit
and tell everybody that's listening what we discussed about how you are figuring out because you said
it was a formula it's numbers how are we figuring out like for me what my macro nutrient intake
needs to be because you were dialing into me on the phone and I want to share it.
Perfect.
Okay.
So it's particularly in the biohacking space, you know, and things like that.
And whatever, what I did was is I said, okay, well, that's my schick.
People get that.
But then in order for me to do it, I had to rely upon multiple labs in different places and
doing different things.
And I said, well, what if I could put it all into one curated program and it was all
inclusive so that way it is, you know, affordable and accessible for people of all things,
because that's another bad thing about the market, man. The consulting industry has gotten out
of control. That's a whole other topic. People waste so much money and things and the sum anyways.
And so I said, I set out to fix it. So, and I can name drop. So I've been with a company called
Genova Diagnostics for 30 years. Yeah. Renowned lab, everybody would use it. And, you know,
I've been with them from the very beginning back when they were called Great Smokies.
And I've sent tons of clinicians to work with them.
And they've sponsored me to talk before.
So at the end of the day, I was like, listen, you guys have the technology.
You have the standard that matches me.
It always has been.
But I said, because they asked me, they came to me and said, hey, listen, well, you know, we really want to, we see what the industry is doing.
but, you know, things are kind of changing.
We have different competitors doing different things.
And I said, yes.
And I said, the problem is, is it's all over the place.
People are going here for their dried urine test,
and they're going over here for their sebo test,
and they're going over here for, you know, their micro toxins,
it's all over the place.
And I said, so people are trying different things
because they don't have a framework.
I have the framework.
But I have to use those other places, too,
in order of operations.
I said, but what if I could bring them all together,
and put them into this order.
So, like, for instance, key number one of balance protocol is air, water, light, sound, EMF, and food.
So we need to assess functionally all those things, okay?
And I can rapid fire real quick off the top of my head, right?
So we've got malabsorption.
People want to know what's going on the gut.
Dispiosis.
They want to know what's going on on that.
Everybody's love the mitochondria.
I love the mitochondria too.
I'm a mitochondrial master, okay?
Okay.
But I also love the endoplasmic reticulum and the gold de apparatus.
Okay.
And some other things.
Every part of this stuff.
All of it, baby.
It was all divinely created, man.
Don't just, you know.
Beautiful.
Just don't give the, the woodwinds, you know what I mean?
The cellular membrane.
Why does no one talk about?
Oh, my God.
The protection.
And then there's that.
Okay.
And so then I look at all the mitochondrial markers.
Literally the entire citric acid cycle has all of its chemical.
Right.
And I assessed those in every patient.
So people were talking about mitochondria health and doing supplements for it and
different things like that, but they haven't even looked at that.
So then I screen for microplastics, petrochemicals.
a screen for norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin, and the enzymes that cover those, all the B vitamins,
true functional methylation markers, 6, 9, 12, all of those functionally.
I look at every amino acid, essential and non-essential.
I take a look at every fatty acid, every 3, 6, 7, 9 sat fats and the enzyme that governs them.
I take a look at all the minerals and heavy metals.
And guess what?
I put them all into one lab.
It's incredible.
It is the starting place, and I finally brought it to fruition.
So they said, and I said, this is what I want.
They're like, they said, nah, we can't do that.
About a month later, they called me up.
Dr. Behrone, we're going to build out your tests for you.
And I said, well, which one?
He said, all of them.
And I went, what?
I said, dude, don't do that because, I mean, I will dedicate my entire decades to this one.
Well, they sat down and really looked at it.
And they did.
And I said, but hey, listen, we're going to have to look at some genes relative to these
functional markers, too, and include them in the same array.
And they said, you got it.
Yeah.
We just bought, you know, five more multi-million dollar gene snip assessing which ones you want.
That's amazing.
So I flew up to Astro, North Carolina, finally toured the place.
Never been.
After all those years, you know, and everybody there.
They made it past the flood when the hurricane came through.
And it was really wild to see that up there.
But anyways.
And we did it.
It's incredible, man.
So it's all in one place.
So everybody's, you know, wanting to look at different things.
And there's this, you know, pentodecanoic acid supplement out there now.
the, you know, the fatty 15 stuff.
And everybody's like, oh, it's wonderful.
And all the things like that.
And I'm going, well, guess what?
Have you tested your C-15?
It's not a new fatty acid.
I've been testing you for three decades.
It's included in the array.
So if you, if you supplement it because it sounds good because of the benefits of it,
and you don't know what yours are, you could throw things in balanced.
Yeah.
Because there is this balance of, you know, we'll talk about the membranes.
We're going to talk about your three, sixes, nines, and et cetera.
And everybody goes, well, you know, seed oils are bad because they cause inflammation.
No, they can and may if you're not in balance of these other things.
Okay?
So in other words, you can strike a match here, but not in space.
The potential is based upon its environment, which it occurs.
So I'm not saying that, you know, seed oils.
Well, what does that mean?
Are we talking about like I eat?
I really enjoy my coal-pressed organic non-GMO canola.
Grape seed.
It's fantastic.
The scientific method is conclusive.
It has its benefit.
But then what would you say the people that say it's all this when they show that picture of it coming out of the gummy and the deodorizers and the and the tulin and the acetone?
I go, yeah, I'm not talking about that.
Right.
You know, that's like not every wife and woman is my wife.
Right.
Okay.
Your kids aren't my kids.
Well, and that's just it.
I hate that because then you do that and you start making those comparisons and comparing everything to everything else when it's just not a fact.
That's the context and that's the breath of fresh air that I want to bring to the market.
But so easy to say, though, it's so easy to just throw everything into one category.
You got it.
Because why is it that one says it's good and the other one says it's bad?
Marketing, cognitive dissonance.
But I go, it's like King Solomon.
Okay.
I'm a Christian.
I love the gospel.
Still a student and learning thereof.
But one of my famous stories is the Solomon, you know, the wise king, you know, the story of, you know, there's these two ladies and there was one baby.
and they were arguing, well, whose baby is it?
And mom was like, it's mine.
And he says, no, it's mine.
And he says, well, and his wisdom story was, he says, well, tell you what, we're going to cut the baby in half.
And you both get half.
And the one went, no, no, no, no, that's hers.
She can have it.
And he goes, that's the mom.
Okay.
Oh, kind of a funny parable, but I use that as anything there or something.
If you want a litmus test, because don't believe me because I'm passionate to.
But I'm going, if anybody's method or approach requires one side,
to be silenced.
They're the ones that are the baby
cut and have people.
They're the ones, ironically,
that also have the force of the police
state for enforcement of their way.
That's your clue.
A good tree will bear good fruit.
So at the end of the day,
are they able to give you
your inclusionary, exclusionary criteria
for what they're selling?
And that's just it.
And when somebody gets angry
or they have to argue
or they have to yell at you
to make a point, Carolina.
And anytime they're going to die, people are going to die.
You're full of shit.
You're full of shit.
And they're the ones you go, nope, no, hold on a minute.
I don't ever do doom and gloom.
I'm like, well, you might get sick.
You're probably having some troubles and whatever.
I'd be concerned.
The ones that scream the loudest are always the culprits.
God.
The ones that throw the most stones are always the ones you can't trust.
That's it.
It's the same story.
It is so true.
And people know that, but yet they still, that hope, that faith that I can get better.
And when I'm in desperation, they do.
And I'm going, I love you.
I understand it's a very difficult challenge, right?
You know, but you're missing information to make a decision.
I mean, my gosh, people, and I joke about it because I train a lot of OBGYNs.
And the thing is, I'm going, it's so funny because, and I will tell you about not in the biohacking stats,
but in wellness industry, it's about 75 to 80 percent women anyway.
And so the ladies have taught me well, okay?
Not pandering, but it's the truth.
Just look at the demographics.
I mean, it's true.
So the thing is, it's like, well, they'll go, and this might be a little off, but I mean, we could do it. We're in a space for you doing it.
You know, they'll go and they'll pick up a person to go and sit in a chair and scoot down, a little bit closer with it, and a cloth gown by a list of what company they're paying a monthly thing to on a Ponzi scheme.
I know.
To who they go to.
And they're all up in their business.
And they just met that guy.
I know.
And I know that's weird, but it's a funny example.
If you kind of think about it for a second, that intimacy.
being made of a decision of who's going to pay for it,
randomly this person's going to be on there.
Granted, there's always someone in the room.
And I don't mean to be insensitive or anything like that
because I have three daughters.
But the thing about it is,
is that I think we can make better litmus tests
and decisions for where we get our care from.
No one cares where they,
no one asks their doctor where they went in school
because it doesn't matter.
People ask me, I'm like, hold on, say,
you're just trying to judge it.
me. Let me save you the trouble. You're not going to like it. Okay. I'm not a medical doctor. I'm not
doing that anyways and I stay in my lane. Okay. I'm an educator, motive, and inspire. That's what I do.
So my point is, is that I want people to be able to learn a litmus. And that is, where do I get my
trusted information from? If it's product-centric only, if it's dogmatic, that there's just
only one way to eat, or everything is bad, or this, that, and the other, or it's fearmonger-based,
or they start with, don't do any of this before you do this.
And oh my gosh.
And people are sick and tired of it.
Do you know this, man?
They are, the number one complaint is I don't know how to believe and they're killing us all.
Right.
And listen, I like the maha thing, but I don't support what it is and how it's doing.
And if that pushes people away from me, that's fine too.
I like some of the stuff that's going, of course.
I go one issue at a time, not this blanketed thing.
You know what I mean?
I always like things and concepts, but doesn't mean I like everything.
That's right.
You know?
That's it.
And I'm not perfect either.
I make mistakes.
I might mispronounce an enzyme or a snip or something even after doing it for so long.
So that doesn't matter.
I had somebody do that to me on a post.
They said, I said a GHK peptide.
Well, you didn't say you.
Well, why do people pay me thousands of dollars to coach you on peptides?
I'd go 100 miles an hour because I'm just making a point.
We didn't say you.
Well, my wife, like I talk about it.
live. So she's a TikTok affiliate. She gets
products and stuff like that. Because we
homeschool our dollars. Right. It did all that fun stuff and these
calendars and things and fun stuff.
And one time she was doing this calendar
and this thing for our little girl, she's nine.
And
it was this letter and
words of the day learning and stuff like that in phonics.
And the letter B came up. And she goes,
B says B. B says
B. Brown Beaver, brown beaver.
Buh, B. Everybody goes,
B doesn't say, bu.
Dude, but you want to know
something about that?
millions of views
and her thing on that
she has sold
hundreds of them
because of the controversy
so here's one of the things
I won't let everybody know
I'm going to spill the beans
because you got the golden hippo people
and I can dump me
my whole thing is this
they do that controversy on purpose
because they people love the crack
and it's like so
matter of fact I'm and I've been encouraged
back make a mistake get controversial
I'm like but that's not me
believe me I'm already messed up
a soup sandwich
I'll make a mistake. I'll get it for free. I'm not going to start now getting contrived.
No. Because I, you get to use this hashtag or do that. I'm like, anyway, so be careful of who you get in your info from. I am not just the only clearinghouse of information, but I just want people to know that look and see, are they selling fear, worry, and doubt? Or are they saying, listen, you have a biochemical individual genealic, you need this. You need data.
I want to make a point, too, that you brought up about the schools. Okay. So, so.
one of the things that I know, see, I'm not the conspiracy guy and people know that about some conspiracies.
No, but I'm the guy that keeps it as real as it gets.
Knowing what I've been through, you know, I don't have time.
I don't waste time.
Yeah.
I have a high about.
Dude, yours is amazing.
It's crazy.
So I don't, I don't fuck around when it comes to given information.
If I know it, I'll tell you, if I don't, I shut up.
Yeah.
And I can tell you right now, when it comes to schooling, right now, they are getting embedded with bullshit.
That's incredible.
And that's how it works.
So they're taught a certain way.
So you can't fault the doctors that are prescribing things anymore because that's what
they're taught in school.
It's all indoctrinated.
Yes.
So my point is, is yes, they went through the program and they went through the school.
But how do you know what the program even is anymore and what they're being taught?
That's the problem.
So I don't give a care in terms of what their 50 letter alphabet soup is after their name
that is half of its made up shit.
Yeah.
I care about when I'm.
I talk to somebody like you that's running down 75 things that a doctor would never ask me.
How many times you go to a doctor and you got something wrong with you and they'll say,
well, what do you eat?
They don't have time for that because none else is paying for you.
Exactly.
You get 7.6 minutes.
Right.
What are you eating?
Well, how are you sleeping?
It's not in their model.
I'm going to write you this and, you know, this is going around right now.
And that's what we've been seeing.
But how do you know that's been going around?
You didn't even test anything.
Yeah.
What test is that telling me that's going around?
I don't know.
So what you're saying is, which is so nice, is like certain, I'll shut up on the products
themselves, but certain products that are very popular right now.
And how do you know what's even working?
That's right.
It can be.
How about you go get proved?
But that's just it.
How do you know?
But then on the other side, the people that say it's not doing anything, which pisses me off.
How do you know that either?
You don't because you feel something because everything makes you feel something.
Not at all.
And some of it, as you know, is placebo effect and you think you feel something.
Yeah.
And that's that mindset.
Placebo and nocebo are incredible.
And we should leverage them.
Yeah.
It's the same thing when it comes down to, you know, projecting where you are and mentally going through.
And there's a lot of exercises that I do down through balance protocol.
It's a very complex thing.
And people can learn about it at bounce protocol.com.
But the thing is, is that I think what is important is to piece.
and be still. And here's a starting point. And that's what I wanted people to learn. And that's what I put
together. And that's what I'm sharing. And sorry with you. I'm going, listen, man, okay, I get all the stuff.
There's wonderful things out there. Love the molecules. I've helped formulate for lots of them.
I know everybody gets this. I'm just telling you. I'm an insider. Which is fine. I have my own product line.
Okay. That's what it is. So, and they're not private label. I'm manufacturer. But the thing is is this. No matter what it is,
let me show you. It's, it's like mom and dad raising you of how to select a mate, right? So in other
words, you can't go, okay, well, he has to make me laugh. He has to make me laugh. Six foot tall,
tall, dark and handsome, six to your income. I'm going to hold a second. What's his relationship
with his mom and dad? Okay, where did he grow up? Who's his people? Thank you. How does he treat,
you know, the, the weight staff when they come around? You know what I mean? That kind of fun stuff.
What's this emotional intelligence? And so there's, there's litmuses there. And oh, my God.
gosh, courting and all that stuff, knowing what families you're going to be married into and all
this thing, you've got to consider all that stuff. But people don't do that for stuff that they're
literally putting into their body that's going to move physiology. I know. Why are you so
quick? It's insane. It's like, come on, man, you do. We don't do that in anywhere else. You know what I
mean? Because at the end of the day, I mean, just like attorneys, you know, it's like there's some that
are great for a traffic ticket, but not for a murder one. You cannot. These guys,
Dude, what's with all these attorneys and billboards around here?
I think that's Vegas and over the area.
Holy, we don't have that in Florida.
Accidentes? It's pretty funny.
But my point is, is people are picking decisions for stuff like that.
They're marketing.
So I see this psychosis in different realms, too.
I'm super steeped in it.
And so when it comes to, like, our kids in school and stuff, exactly.
I mean, I did Home Act and shop and learn how to ledger and in your balance of checkbook.
I mean, this was cool.
No, that stuff is going anymore.
This is square.
But you know what?
People are doing that too, right?
We're on our phones.
We're on social media.
We're on things like that.
We're so connected to that.
And all the Facebook ads come behind.
You know, and the Instagram stuff, and the reels and the TikToks and the doom scrolling.
And people go, oh, that sounds good.
I do have fatigue insomnia, a low libido.
And I think I'm exactly.
And I'll try this.
Zoddykart.
Yep.
And I'm going, oof.
So it's tough.
I'm swimming against the tide for sure.
sure, but this is why I'm so grateful and blessed to come on your platform and share with your
listeners this. And hopefully it's a breath of fresh air and just really encourage them. Because
am I selling them something to? You damn right I am. Okay. But it's a way and it's not
attached to any pill potion or powder. It is a program that is allowing people to find out
for themselves so you can go decide. So I'm giving you a tool that you can now apply in whatever
you do. Now, do I have a team of clinicians that can help along the way? Yes. Okay. But we,
we stay in our lane in the proper things like that, right? And so what we got to do is not
negatively demonize that industry because it's fantastic. There's a lot of great products out
there. People love to take me to the shows and walk the floor. Yeah. And go to the booze and,
okay, tell me about this. Because there's a lot of shenanigans and stralotons. You just don't
that, right? But we love a good entertainment. Like the Roman amphitheater.
And it was just gruesome.
But that's kind of how it is.
But I want people to know that you are a category of one and you've got to know what makes you different.
And now you can go, oh, I do some urolithin A.
That is a neat little molecule.
But guess what?
What it does to mitochondria, my top of you and stuff like that?
And I go, well, guess what?
I curated a lab.
We'll be able to tell you you can do it before, do it.
And then bang.
Because now here's the thing.
There's certain supplements that you've got to stop.
But I feel so much good.
on and I'm going, well, then that's your clue that you shouldn't, you got to work on some other stuff, right?
Because I'm, I seem to be the only person to say, hey, take this, but then stop it here.
Right.
Because when you've had enough, you've had enough, you know, just like food, alcohol, water, or is that always, yeah.
Oh, man, there's, there's, when's the exit?
Mm-hmm.
And so, again, I've never seen anybody else talk about when to stop something.
That's, that's it.
And I'll show you how to, when is it's financially beneficial to tell anybody to stop?
And that's why I defend my colleagues, they are my colleagues, in the conventional medicine space,
because people poo-poo them because of all their bad stuff and the 300-some-thousand people they kill every year from error.
And that's true.
And all that stuff is there.
Okay.
But then I go, hold on a second, though.
Okay.
They have certain standards that are protective and are established in that care.
Yeah.
So don't get sucked into the, I just want, you know, proof.
Now, just give me, you know, non-seed oils and no gluten.
and then take away this and take away this
and whatever, I've got to take all these supplements
and blah, blah.
That ain't going to work either.
See what I mean?
And so it's bound.
It's a balance understanding.
It's protocol, bro.
That's it.
Because there's been a lot of great guests.
I've watched your shows and things like that.
And certain things, Mike's similar.
Maybe similar vernacular.
Yeah.
But I can, I could absolutely say that it's the only place.
I still remain the one.
And I say that with all humility and benevolence,
that it's translating all of those.
They all have their.
spaces. Right. I get it. Yeah. That's fantastic. But wouldn't you like to know
that kind of stuff? And before you do a parasite cleanse, before you start biohacking, before
you start doing any of that stuff, let me take a look at 200 and, I'm excuse me, 125
biomarkers and 10 snips to start. Now you know. Now that's before. And I don't know what's
doing what. That's it. That's it. And then now you can work with people such as yourself and
stuff like that and then just really take. And then so that's, that's my, my, my, my,
call to my, my fellows like you too.
It's like, hey, listen, I'm not competing for business.
No.
Let them go through and it's, we call it bounce protocol, GPS.
So get protocol started.
And it's your navigational thing.
So that was, see, I put my little marketing.
I don't know.
You have to do.
We got to tell people.
I have a little fun with it.
Like when I go to eat and like, well, this Chilean seabass was caught off the
Madagascar by Javier and on the ship, the Susanna.
And then arrived this morning.
You're like, oh, you lose so much more taste here.
So I, I, I read.
recognize that. Okay, so I'm trying. But at the end of the day, I'm going, I'm just really not really
text. So I need some pee. I need some blood and I need a cheek swap. Exactly. Right. And so
that kind of stuff will come together and they can get that information and then you can work it off your
patient. What we're going to do is, you know, we did the test everybody. There was a retest that we're
going to do now. Yeah. There's a slight lab. We're not perfect.
We're not perfect. Mitzfire. But we're going to, we're going to do another episode where we just
break down my testing so you can see all the layers of the test where I'm good, where I'm bad,
what needs fixed, and how we're going to fix it.
I'm fine to talk about all that because all it does is help.
I mean, we're all screwed up.
Absolutely.
Everybody's screwed up.
And listen, to your point and to your attribution is when you guys are trying things and be in
that guinea pig, okay, for other people so you can have the experience and learn that
and bring that skin in the game, the man in the arena.
You do certain things to your body.
Yeah.
Okay.
And it happens and that's totally fine.
So that's what I'm saying.
If there, every single person who does anything, biohacking should do this program.
Yeah.
Because it is everything just gets started.
It's the starting point.
It's not the end all to begin though.
I would argue every human needs to do it.
It really does.
And I know that's, that might sound duplicitous having said everything that I said.
But man, I'm telling you, this is my life culmination.
I have a fantastic lab, you know, powering it.
It's unbelievable.
The value is there.
And it's incredible.
If I, if I, just say, I don't mean to be whatever, but balance protocol, GPS.com.
If you go there, you can read all about it.
You can get it right there.
We send the test kit directly to you, all the states in Canada.
And you do a little blood sample.
You do some urine.
You cheek swab sitting in the lab.
A couple weeks later, we have all that.
You get an amazing report.
Not this little 10 page.
you know 10x gene snip report okay not at all because this is designed to be self steering right so
you get a full explanation of all the biomarkers the 10 genetic snips that matter right now and then
you have also an online community over balance protocol dot me where you can go in and ask your
questions free and also there's there's educational materials guides snip logic what to do all this
kind of fun stuff because you know if I can give one example that's kind of famous out there
I don't know if you have time, but...
Yeah, we've got to wrap it, but yeah, go ahead.
But anyways, it's just like, like, when people talk about like MTHR,
yeah, we've heard about that real quick.
That's one of the snips that we do, but the problem is,
is people think that MTHFR governs their conversion of folate or folic acid,
and that's categorically false.
That is, you've got the folate receptor, then you have DHFR,
then you have MTHDR, those govern how the Bidu folate and then SHMT.
There's others, but people love to say the mother effergene,
and then sell you methyl vitamins for it when it's not even the one that really moves the mark.
You've got to look at what creatin's doing, Comte, and all these other things.
It's a bigger picture is all I wanted to share because that's huge in the market now.
But the cool thing is this lab includes all that too.
And I explain it all and debunk that entire thing that's designed to sell supplements.
I love it.
It's crazy, right?
Well, you know what?
I love the disruption because it's making a difference.
It's making an impact and you're doing it for the right reasons.
You're not doing it for anything other than trying to actually help people sift through everything.
And I personally find that to be such a strong trait and characteristic that we're lacking.
And I appreciate it.
That's why I wanted you to come down here.
I wanted to give you the proper spotlight and with the proper questions so that you could actually be heard in the proper way.
So I hope I did that.
No, it's great.
I mean, I appreciate you letting me share my philosophy with your listeners.
And it's, again, it's a blessing.
I received this opportunity. It's fantastic.
And I just, at the end of the day, I'm in a loss of words because we're at the precipice
of something so phenomenally great to the market. And I can say that. Like, this is literally
the culmination of my entire three-decade career. And I've curated something that can
change and transform people's life. That is not a marketing stick. I've done hundreds of
thousands of these, but never on in one place. So it's so cool and accessible.
affordable now and it'll it'll really help your audience with all these experts that are awesome in
their field will make them so much more lovely and delicious we got to watch episode two so we can
go through my panels and we'll get into a deep dive on everything more intrinsically and go through
it from there brother thank you for coming down flying down to see me when guests come down to
see me it humbles me because it makes me feel like hey it's worth it to come down here and
talk to him so thank you dr anthony beck check him
out. We're going to link everything in the description, but he definitely needs to be heard
in a variety of ways. So that wraps up another one, everybody. We appreciate you and thank you.
Stay tuned for plenty more to come. Dylan Jameli and Dr. Anthony Beck, signing off.
