I'm the host of Finding Mr. Haidt, a dating and relationship podcast that I've been doing for four years now, sharing my positive and practical approach to dating that's built on my own life experience. And I wanted to share another experience that I've had, my secret behind monetizing my show.
Starting point is 00:01:28 It's called Red Circle, and I was just telling my colleague about how much I love their platform. With Red Circle, not only am I getting a seamless hosting experience, but I also love the support I receive in ad sales. It's not just typical ad sales either. It's targeted opportunities based on my show and my life. And the platform is super simple. You just set your preferences, and Red Circle matches you with sponsors that align with your show. You can vet every opportunity, and their platform gives you great analytics.
Starting point is 00:01:53 More recently, too, my Red Circle team has brought me opportunities outside of my podcast on social media. To really augment the podcast partnerships, bring them full circle, I just can't recommend them enough. If you want to give it a try, go to red circle.com to get your free trial. That's red circle.com for a free trial. Just don't call in a podcast. We are live. Sure. I think. Yes. Bow. Now we are. Already 300 fots in the room. Shout to the friends of the show who show up early. I'm still twisting Rosenberg's arm to figure out this 7 a.m. for our 7 a.m.ers. Here we are.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Blood in the water. Yes, we are. It is blood in the water. That's right. That's right. Matter of fact, we got plans, too. Laura's already sending over merch designs. It's happening. Listen, we're telling you we have plans.
Starting point is 00:02:45 We mean it. Okay. We mean it. We're working. Well, Rosenberg, are you happy with how our plans are shaping up? Are you, what you see behind the scenes? I feel like you're a trustworthy, honest voice for the audience.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Do you feel like the plans we have for the Ebro Laura Rosenberg show are shaping up nice? I think they're, yes, shaping up nice. I believe so, but I also like a lot's been happening. So it's a lot of conversation. So today we have a meeting after the program. Our first Ebro, Laura Rosenberg show post show meeting. Yeah. So I don't say that to say I don't have full trust.
Starting point is 00:03:24 I do. I just can't lie and say I have full understanding of what's going on because it's a lot. It's like a lot of conversations. So but yes, people should be excited about the level of work and conversation that's going into the plans. I think, yes. Rosenberg, I saw that you finally after your work travels over the weekend got to see the Renee Good analysis videos of her saying, all right, buddy, I'm not mad at you. And then closing with him,
Starting point is 00:03:56 this ICE agent, do we, I don't think we know his name, basically shooting her and calling her. Jonathan Ross, calling her an effing bitch after he's basically shot her in the face. And she was being nice to him. And it really hits you. So much so you had to put up a video about it. No, it sent me.
Starting point is 00:04:16 It sent me. It mean, all of it had sent me. And like, I think the Renee good thing has, been yet another touch point for our country, for sure. Like, this is clearly a moment. But when I watched it again and saw that video where she says, I'm not mad at you, yet the 50th piece of evidence that she had no interest in harming this man, followed by not only the callousness of this coward calling this woman and this mother, than effing B word after he shot her.
Starting point is 00:04:54 But the idea that you wouldn't even be in shock. I know. You wouldn't even say, oh, my God, or oh, no, or, oh, F. The fact that you just, you know, like, it's either like he's done this before, he's wanted to do this before, there was just zero regret whatsoever. Yeah, Ebro, it completely and utterly sent me. I just, I don't know. Yeah, it's just insane.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I don't know if you saw also the videos that I had to stop after a while because it literally makes my blood boil People had left flowers and candles I don't know if you saw the video of the ice agents just kicking it just kicking it And just making fun of it and just like antagonizing other people who were there just trying to light some candles and put flowers down Well and so and so boom I know listen And we said it last week, you know I'm not trying to this is this is this is a this is I'm not trying to get you any any more blood in the water for you, Rosenberg. That's not what I'm trying to do here. Appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:05:56 But the reason I was so vehemently opposed to Stephen A. Smith's stance is because he's not a legal professional. He's not a political professional. And he rushed out the door in defense of someone who had just killed a woman. Just like the White House did. Just like J.D. Vance did. just like all the right wing pundits did. They rushed out the door to try to create a narrative around Ray, around Renee Good's murder and around Jonathan Ross this murderer.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Before we had seen, what we knew was that the police code does not allow you to shoot a moving car. Everyone knew that off top. And how many police officers are speaking out? Many. Yes. And so that's what I talk about when I'm talking about doing the dance. It means you got a memo and they was like, here, rush out here and toe the line. Or soft-shoo it.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I mean-shoot this on our behalf. I don't believe that a memo was sent that said that. I'm not literal. I'm not being literal. Got it. It's hard. Sometimes you've got to be clear. Got to be clear.
Starting point is 00:07:14 I'm not being literal. I'm not being literal. But that's why I brought that up because now that we've all seen all of the different details of murder. Right? Here's the other piece about ICE agents. It's now coming out that many of them are getting these jobs without passing background checks.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yes. Proper training. Without having, with having criminal backgrounds. They're just grabbing anybody, bro. But I saw a thing yesterday. I'm going to see what I can find it. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:47 I saw a thing yesterday. And again, And there's so many videos moving around that it's very hard. Like, I don't believe in taking things as law when you see a video with someone talking to a camera. But here it is. No, I found an article from NBC News. See, because this is what you do, folks. When you see a stupid video online, before you say it out loud to the people watching you, you go,
Starting point is 00:08:14 can I find a reputable source? Here is NBC. The ICE officer who killed a Minnesota woman is a war veteran who spent over a decade working for DHS. So here's the thing. Jonathan Ross wasn't some newcomer who jumped off the couch. He's been doing this. In fact, I heard, and I see if I can find it in this article, the thing that I saw said, he had been training people in using force.
Starting point is 00:08:44 What? Meaning if that is true, he's not like, you know, a result of the problem. He's part of the training of the problem. Yeah. Ross testified he was also a member of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force as well as a firearms instructor and field intelligence offer, officer. He is the training. This is what they, there are people who want to be like this. And they are like this.
Starting point is 00:09:12 And they choose to be like this. And they're training others to be like that. and training others to be like this. I just, I got to a point of, it was just another one of those examples. We've had many. You know, George Floyd was obviously a touch point. There have been several of where you just realize people are so,
Starting point is 00:09:30 and I know there are people out there who feel that way about us, but they're wrong. There are people out there who have been so warped by the evil that has pervaded this country, that they can't see anything clearly anymore. They literally, they didn't see Renee Good as a human being. They saw a left-wing lunatic who uses pronouns. They don't care.
Starting point is 00:09:59 They don't want to see truth. You could not watch that video. Guys, when was the last time you saw a police officer seriously engaging in something in which they were in danger and they were holding a cell phone with one hand. Tell me one example. I want a cop to tell me. What would say if one of your fellow officers was in a serious situation
Starting point is 00:10:23 where they thought violent danger was in their path, and with one hand, they were holding a cell phone so they could operate only with the other hand as they stepped in front of the vehicle. Someone tell me that's legitimate procedure. They can't. Can't be. It can't be. Can't be. Can't be. Well, and furthermore, I think, listen, I'm going to say it as much as I can say it. All of this has been a part of the plan. Oh, yeah. Getting us so emotional to this point where people are on the street, where ICE agents are reportedly going door to door, where people have their phones out, everyone's at each other's throat. So that I'm telling you, so they could say it's unsafe.
Starting point is 00:11:10 so they can't have the midterm elections. Yeah, they want to intimidate protesters. They don't want people to feel safe. They don't want people out there exercising their voice. Matter of fact, let's go to Philadelphia's district attorney. They had words for ICE. If any law enforcement agent, any ICE agent, is going to come to Philly to commit crimes, then you can get the F out of here.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Because if you do that here, I will charge you with those crimes. You will be arrested. You will stand trial. You will be convicted, whether it's in state or federal court, it's my office prosecuting it. That's how the law works. And you will do your time because Donald Trump cannot pardon you. for a state court conviction. Do you hear me, ICE agents? Do you hear me, National Guard? Do you hear me military? You're going to jail if you commit crimes in the city of Philadelphia. You will be accountable. The law applies to all of you.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And I know that there are honest, decent, moral law enforcement officers out there by the bushel, including in ICE. this is not for you this is for anyone of your colleagues who thinks they are above the law listen and I'll be honest I'm
Starting point is 00:13:00 I suspect that now ICE wants to show up to that town they want these challenges to start they want this kind of Right. Visual.
Starting point is 00:13:15 They want the conflict. How could I believe anything otherwise? Look at this coverage. This guy's name is Zeno Farmer that I follow on Instagram, and I've seen multiples of these. I did not see the White House post with this neo-Nazi song. But the whites who are opposed to this on the Internet are covering it feverishly. Do we have a Zeno Farmer? I want to show you all this post that DHS made on their socials accompanied with this song,
Starting point is 00:13:50 and then I want to talk about it with you. And by God we'll have our home, my blood or sweat will get there yet. My God will. This song will have our home again is a neo-Nazi song. A white supremacist shooter referenced the lyrics to this song after unaliving three black people in Florida. and the crowd boys have been filmed singing it. If you, for whatever reason, weren't buying that our Fed is being run by white supremacists,
Starting point is 00:14:22 then this should put that to bed for you. They're not even attempting to hide anything anymore. It's all right out in the open. That is where we are. So if you're one of my fellow white people in America, you need to recognize this and you need to stand up against it. Because this is what this regime is all about, and they will continue down this path until we remove them. this is white supremacy at the most dangerous levels of our government and everybody needs to fucking recognize that fuck anybody that supports that and fuck us you know we're fascists too do not
Starting point is 00:14:53 comply well because there is that thing that's existed now we're like if you mention white supremacy or overt racism or they're going to do they love Nazis that everyone there's so many people calm down you're you're being hysterical you're they're blatantly saying yes yes yes They're not. This isn't being, like, this is your own willful ignorance if you choose not to see it. Stephen Miller, who is the biggest voice behind all of this, just listen to him talk. This is what he admires. He is the real deal, an admirer of all things, fascism, and white supremacy.
Starting point is 00:15:30 And this is what he is who is shaping this entire policy. So. And currently, you have the Elon Musk's on. on social media and his ilk talking about reverse immigration where they are so concerned about being outnumbered as white people in the United States
Starting point is 00:15:54 that a lot of this, you know, ICE behavior is to get brown people out of here. To get black and brown people out of here. It's been amazing to see Elon Musk basically retweeting and supporting every horrible racist thing that he can. That's right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I mean, how is it even legal? So back back to that salute at that at that meeting that the new, the mainstream media tried to act like it wasn't a Nazi salute. Back to that salute. That wasn't a Nazi salute. Now we're here. We have Nazi songs. We're here now, people. Everybody tried to act like it was an awkward hand gesture.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Remember that? Oh, I do. even the even even even jewish organizations are the ad you mean no the adle let's stop let's not organizations it is the same one the same one that's always the loudest and the wrongest one yes yes fair awkward hand gesture huh and how is this legal like the guy controls the platform so everything that he posts gets a the most uh, retweets. Who's going to check him, boo?
Starting point is 00:17:15 Who? Check him. Who's going to check him? And for him, it's just my freedom of speech. Who's going to check anybody? Who's going to check anybody? And we've been saying it on, on the Ebro-Laura-Ros-Merk show for the last week.
Starting point is 00:17:28 And we keep pointing back to the Civil War. We keep pointing back to the rebel flag. The reason I'm doing that was because that was an opportunity for this country to say these things are illegal. Instead, what we did is we called them freedom of speech. And now that loophole of freedom of speech, which everyone loves, and yes, it is a slippery slope. It's a very slippery slope, is now blowing up in America's face. That's about all we got on, Lars Dows, a deep side.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Well, I don't know. We're so angry. Where else do you go? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I saw the comments on my post and whenever I posted anything. Because I was just like, I was in a real effed mood.
Starting point is 00:18:20 So I would put things up on Twitter. You know, last night I posted January 6th footage. And I'm like real quick. So Renee Good deserved what she got. But these people in these videos, they all got pardoned. They're good, right? So you're active. You're active out here.
Starting point is 00:18:34 You're kicking the hornets. I respect. But then he goes into the worst cesspool to post these videos. When you know all those people are going to be like, yes, Rosembourg. They're justified. He wants the action. Well, I will say this. Comments have gotten so Twitter has become so bad
Starting point is 00:18:50 that in a weird way it stopped affecting me at all. It's all going to be bad. Everything I post is 90% just you know, shut up Jew. Don't you love when people prove, when people show that they're not racist or anti-Semitic
Starting point is 00:19:06 by telling me to shut my Jew mouth? I love that. I always think that's such an effective tool. I know. But did you see, we didn't put this in today. No, I think, I think it's just your Jew mouth. It's not all Jew mouth. Oh, oh. So it's not technically anti-Semite.
Starting point is 00:19:23 No, no, you're right. They're just being specific. We didn't put this in, I don't think, but did you guys watch the Christy Nome, Jake Tapper Exchange? Oh, Rosenberg, I saw it. I saw it. Load that up. I need to see it.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Load it up. Listen, I'm no huge Jake Tapper fan, but he tries to hold his. his ground again like he did with stephen miller he tries to hold his ground with christineome and push her on the on her defense of what happened to rene good and he's just like trying to point out the facts and yo she will just like i'm not interested in the facts lie right to your face he brings up january sixth and he's like yeah but the donald trump pardoned he's like he showed her the videos he said i'd like to show you some videos and he showed christy gnome that video of member of the cop when they had him jammed in the door.
Starting point is 00:20:13 And he's, ah, ah, screaming for his life. And he's like, so, so real quick, these people, these exact people were pardoned by the president. So can you explain? And she's just like, every situation on the ground is different.
Starting point is 00:20:29 She has this blank stare with her rehearsed talking points. And that's it. Laura, you know, I don't want to, I don't want a body shame. Is this considered body shaming when you talk about plastic surgery? But the stair, she bought. the stare, the look. The whole face.
Starting point is 00:20:44 The whole face. You know her whole face is different. She changed her whole face. Mar-a-Lago face, what you're saying? Yo, the fact that that's a thing is bananas to me. Is everyone familiar with this? Is this a normal? I think we talked about the last week, did we? Yeah, it's a look. It's a certain look that they all have.
Starting point is 00:21:04 They all opt for specific cosmetic procedures to make them look that way. Now, what I'm trying to understand here, Laura, help me out. Help me out. Maybe Rosenberg. I'm trying to understand too. No, no, no, go ahead. So is the idea that this Mar-a-Lago face,
Starting point is 00:21:17 I'm going to get plastic surgery to look a certain way so that I could be accepted in or so that I could turn them in on or so that I'm considered attractive to the people who hang out at Mar-a-Lago? Is that what we're saying? I guess. I think it's all of the above. Certain people tend to like, and this, I've seen this before, like certain hairstyles, certain, um,
Starting point is 00:21:41 cosmetic procedures like the overfilled lips or the frozen Botox eyes where they can't really they barely can move their eyebrows right but it's like a trend it's it literally is a trend and they want it all kind of look the same that's what they consider beautiful or that's what those men consider beautiful so they all go and get that the overly tanned orange you know what I mean no it's crazy shade the t's now like last night there wasn't a like um no i can't say that there was a bunch of stuff at the Golden Globes it wasn't the entire
Starting point is 00:22:17 show but there was its share I'm very curious about whether there would be a shus because the show is on CBS and as we know Barry Weiss who took over CBS News is a like her life
Starting point is 00:22:35 is designed by extreme Zionism she's a crazy person on that subject that has led to her becoming a full Trump puppet. That has led to CBS News cutting off stories, not showing us stuff on 60 Minutes that makes the Trump administration look bad. And anyways, Nikki Glazer, the host, did get a moment in here.
Starting point is 00:22:55 This is Nikki Glazer last night. I saw. And the award for most editing goes to CBS News. Yes. CBS News, America's newest place to CBS News. Yeah. I like it. It was something.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Well, and then there was, um, on, uh, do we have the Mark Ruffalo? Uh, on the, but the Mark Ruffalo on the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:23:24 On the red carpet moment, which, you know, look, Mark, in my opinion, has been doing great work around this for, uh,
Starting point is 00:23:30 you know, and being vocal around world events, Gaza and other things for some time. You want to know how, you want to have, we don't have that in there. You want to how far Mark Ruffalo is into it? Mark Ruffalo emails my dad like,
Starting point is 00:23:43 every two weeks after an M. Say word. Oh, what? No, Mark Ruffalo. He's, he's reading the M.J report.
Starting point is 00:23:50 He's in. Wow. No, shout your dad's substack, man. Shout your dad's substack. Look up M.J. Rosenberg on substack.
Starting point is 00:23:57 MJ, I'm going to see if you just, I think you just Google it. MJ. And then you need to do the history on M.J. Rosenberg, because Rosenberg's dad's been, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:07 supporting Palestinians for how many years in his article? Well, he's really come around he's really been that sort of on that vibe for like 22 years something like that it was early 2000 it was when it was when it was when the peace talks really failed in in the early 2000s that he got aggressive you know he'd been moving that direction for a long time but my dad was a hardcore Zionist in like 1968 right and then just started moving yeah he was a believer right and then you know like like my like patriots like most patriots eventually you go What the hell is going on here?
Starting point is 00:24:43 Yeah. But we're doing it in the United States. There are, and there are definitely, look, contrary to what you may see on your timeline, there are tons of people who live in Israel, hundreds of thousands, millions. They were ready to convict Netanyahu before this last chapter before October 7th. Oh, yeah. That battle back and forth because he was trying to take away the power from the Supreme Court. They wanted to convict him.
Starting point is 00:25:11 and now we're here. So you, Ruffalo, Ruffalo's been on it. He's been on it. But I just sent, I don't know if you have it yet. Speaking of people who are terrible on Israel,
Starting point is 00:25:21 I sent Bascombe, Wanda Sykes, I didn't see this last night, on stage took a shot at Bill Maher, and I am so here for this. So we haven't seen this yet. No, I haven't seen it yet,
Starting point is 00:25:33 but Bill Mar has been basically an open Islamophob for like 20-some years. Well, and mind you, And mind you, wasn't, didn't Bill Maher put out like an anti-religious movie at a certain point? You put out a movie called Religious. And I remember seeing that movie as a kid. I'm not a kid, a 25, 24-year-old, whatever it was.
Starting point is 00:25:58 And I remember at the time being like, why does he say nothing about Judaism in this movie? As a Jewish person, I was like, he makes fun of Christianity and Islam a lot. there's like no good Judaism humor in here. I was, that's what I was here for. I'm like, if you're a person of the group that you want to see it make fun of your ridiculous religion, because I got bad news for you. I got bad news for your religious people of all your religion, of every religion, which no matter which it is, there's some ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Oh man, there's a joke in there. Always. Always. There's some ridiculous isish in your teachings, folks. But I'm only addressing that to Jews, Muslims, Christians, and all of it. religions. So I was like, why? And then like, you know, he's a non-practicing Jew. I even recently saw him say in one of his dumb conversations where he's being pro-Israel and doing his same argument he makes to everyone. Well, if you were to live in the Middle East,
Starting point is 00:26:55 where would you live? Trying to imply that every single place in throughout the Middle East, you'd just be shot for walking on the street. I saw him say in that kind of thing. I'm not Jewish. so like he doesn't even identify as Jewish. I know he is, I believe his mother is Jewish. But when speaking about it, like, he doesn't consider himself Jewish. Right. He's just a terrible person. I don't understand this guy.
Starting point is 00:27:24 So I hopefully we'll be able to pull it up here. It should be noted. This program has been calling Bill Maher a terrible person even before this. I just want, I listen. Before he went to the White House. Before he went to the White House. I just want to point out, we are 10 years, 10 years into telling all of you that this Trump thing was a terrible idea. 10 years.
Starting point is 00:27:51 10 years into telling you that all of this Trump, Putin, all of this Netanyahu stuff is white supremacists. They are white supremacists. We've been telling you this. We've been saying it over and people thought I was being. inflammatory people thought I was being I was out of control I was losing my mind I need to stick to music yada yada yada well ebro we didn't brand it well enough the thing you have to do is oh we didn't put it when you get interested in something you have to brand it and make it your thing and also you're not willing to go out and like do like all the appearances so you weren't you weren't
Starting point is 00:28:37 selected to be the black guy who will speak on everything. If you had become the black guy who speaks for all black people because some white person said, I like this guy, he should speak for all of them. Then we'd be hot out here, but you didn't do that. And there are enough whites doing it. So what am I going to do? Well, now we got Wanda. Do we got Wanda Sykes Laura? Laura. Yes. Yes. Let's check that out. That's your Wanda. Bill Maher, you give us so much. But I will love a little less. It's small, but did you see his face of discomfort? I'm into it.
Starting point is 00:29:22 That's a room of him in front of all his peers. Like, jokes like that. He already, I'm saying recently, so I'm getting interviewed. A clip was moving around saying, have you lost any friends? And he was like very sheepishly. He was like, Larry David. He was like, oh, really? He doesn't speak to me.
Starting point is 00:29:41 And it was Larry David's not a. an Israeli psycho. He's not being a psycho about the Israeli government. Well, yeah. First of all, first of all, Larry's on the right side of the Israel issue. Second of all,
Starting point is 00:29:54 Larry wrote an op-ed. When Bill Maher went to go meet with Trump, go look this up if you haven't ever read it, when Bill Maher had his meal with Trump and came back on TV going, well, you know, when person, he's really nice. Larry wrote a farcical
Starting point is 00:30:12 editorial about his dinner with Hitler. I gotta look this up. And you have to understand it's fully in character and he's just talking about how he went to go see the Fuhr and he does the whole, it's just incredible. And so he just completely roasted him. And there are, it's just nice to see there are good people.
Starting point is 00:30:31 By the way, and it's so this, and this just proves my point about doing the dance for the bag. Because how much has this helped Bill Maher have access to more capital? I guarantee you it has. I guess that's it. I mean, part of me with Bill Marr just feels like when I watch him, he's just an old sellout. Like, this is what an old sellout looks like.
Starting point is 00:30:58 I think it's money. I always think it's money. No, you do. I always think it's money. Right. And I'm not saying, I think the truth is probably in the middle between us. Like sometimes it's money. Sometimes it's just people's actual natural way.
Starting point is 00:31:08 That's where we were. That's where we landed on the Stephen A debate. Yeah. Yeah. I tend to think people often are who. they are, whereas you tend to think, nah, someone had to be paying them. I didn't, I think a lot of people who made the MAGA grift, I think a lot of them it wasn't money. It was a deeper thing. Thank you. Thank you. I agree with you, Rosenberg. Although I do believe there's money circulating
Starting point is 00:31:30 around out and yes, but not everyone is getting paid, guys. Some people genuinely believe this and support it. And this is just who they are. Or it tapped into something like inside them. Right. I guess the reason I land on the money is because, Because I know they see, I know they see how bad this is. But you've decided to step out and align. You don't have to step out in a line. You can lay back. But you've stepped out and aligned.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Oh, in some cases, beyond the line. It's like. And so either you need, you need this administration's help in some way, right? Like you have some criminal is going on. And you could pay to have access. to the president, that's a thing right now. Right? Or it's benefiting you because why would you step out and go so hard?
Starting point is 00:32:25 Well, how about this? Okay, so for example, and Ebro, I think you should leave the room and come right back because you're frozen. It's a perfect frozen photo of you. Oh, it looks like it works. And by the way, for everyone in the comments, who's now screaming about like, this is why you guys need to be together. We have plans. and the plans aren't far off.
Starting point is 00:32:48 So calm down. It takes time, guys, to get a place together. There's a place getting put together in which we're not going to be together every show, but a lot of shows we're going to be together. So everyone who's in that zone is being built. Calamate. Tell us, but calmate. Please, for favor.
Starting point is 00:33:07 But no, Laura, I think there are some people out there where it tapped into something deep in them. and they haven't liked the way they've been received on the left, whether that be, you know, just black Twitter doesn't like them, social media doesn't like them. And so they think, you know what, F those people. Maybe I'd be better off over here. So their grift isn't as overt as Ebro might be saying, like about cash. The grift is about acceptance.
Starting point is 00:33:38 The grift is about people liking their posts. You know what I'm saying? There's levels to it. And then there's some who have always been quietly racist or Islamophobic or just looking for that one thing, to your point, that one thing where it's like, I can't be the only one that look at them. Like I know a person that I always saw, like her talking about the most like stereotypic Islamic, like just like always pulling up extremism, right? Look at them. Look at them. I'm like, do you know that there's extremism in?
Starting point is 00:34:12 every religion in everyone. Remember we were just talking about like that crazy Jewish cult because it's a cult that's in Guatemala that has been kicked out of like Israel and America and everyone because they're so psychotic. And then look at Christianity. Look at Catholicism. How many cults have existed under the name of Jesus? You know what I mean? Listen, listen, I know someone I know someone who ran into this back to Bill Maher again. I know someone who ran into Bill Maher once and brought up religion. And he basically immediately, in casual conversation, admitted to being an Islamophore. Now, that's alleged.
Starting point is 00:34:48 That's a legend. I can't say that's a fact. That's alleged. But if you watch his program, he does not hide the fact that he thinks the root of Islam is evil. It's like he took all propaganda that came post 9-11 when a very evil thing was done in the name of Islam. and he allowed that in his mind to define what Islam is as a religion. And it's lazy and it's ignorant and it's hateful. And he's been doing it forever.
Starting point is 00:35:20 And it does nothing to benefit anyone. We can call out extremism of all groups without having to be. It's just the same as any bigotry. It's just the same as anything. Defining an entire group by the most extreme worst people in that group. That's right. Did we get to the Mark Ruffalo audio last night on the... No, if I fired it up, Pastor.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Go ahead. Mark, what's the pin? It's for Renee Nicole Good, who is murdered. We have a vice president who's lying about what's happening. We're in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded. He's telling the world that international law doesn't matter to him. The only thing that matters to him is his own morality. But the guy is a convicted.
Starting point is 00:36:06 felon or convicted rapist, he's a pedophile, he's the worst human being. If we're relying on this guy's morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we're all in a lot of trouble. So this is for her, this is for the people in the United States who are terrorized and scared today. I know I'm one of them. I love this country. And what I'm seeing here happening is not America.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Mark, why do you feel that this platform is still useful to spread a message like this? Listen, I want to pretend like this is. I want to be here to celebrate and I am here to celebrate. And I'm proud to have a Golden Globe nomination. But also, this is not normal anymore. And so I don't know how I, how I could be quiet. And I'm feeling a little sick. So it's hard to BS right now.
Starting point is 00:36:52 He's saying, this is the platform I got. By the way, I thought we were going to play the clip when he was on entertainment tonight. No, this is a whole other clip. Oh, no, no, no. This one is good. Yeah, I thought the entertainment's tonight won't too, I, bro. this one. That one was even like harsher. Although, yo, my man, you know my,
Starting point is 00:37:09 I mean, you know the entertainment tonight, that guy, what's that guy's name? He's been on for a long time now. He's been doing it and he comes up or access Hollywood, whichever one it is. And he's like, hey guys, so how are you? I haven't here to have a good time. I mean, how excited you have drink and sit back and relax. And they're like, Renee Good is dead. And my man just keeps trying to come up to people to be like,
Starting point is 00:37:29 so, I mean, come on, we can have a good time tonight or what. How about one battle after another? Am I right? And they're like, Kevin Frazier. Kevin Frazier, our country is going to hell. And Kevin Frazier is like totally, totally, man. But now when he was with Mark Wethelow,
Starting point is 00:37:43 I got a shout out Kevin Frazier. He rolled with him. No, he rolled with him. Listen, he's got to do the dance. That's the job he signed up for him. I see, here you go to doing the dance. I didn't even say doing the dance. He's just doing his job.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Which is a dance. He's got to get on a red carpet and make people all happy and even when they're not. That's the dance. It's part of the dance. It's not, I'm not trying to change. shade him. I just want to acknowledge that we all have to do these things
Starting point is 00:38:07 and act like everything's hunky dory sometimes when it's not, man, it's not a diss. But he also talked about being for the Twin Cities with Mark White's. He did know. No, he rolled with it. I'm not saying he didn't roll with it. I'm just saying it's funny that each and every time it's always under the guise of like, here we go happy talk. And half the time,
Starting point is 00:38:23 people are like, hey, I want to talk about something. It's ain't sweet, my G. I want to give Kevin Frazier props. They did a weird thing last night. They tried something different where like after each award win, Kevin Frazier and some other guy who was super awkward would do like commentary in the moment between the win.
Starting point is 00:38:46 So I watched the early part of the Golden Globes and I heard them trying to talk in between the announcement and the person grabbing the award. Correct. In that like 30 seconds, they would do like a little commentary. It was actually an sort of interesting new approach, but the dude he was with was, Oh my God, the biggest cornball.
Starting point is 00:39:04 Like it's just he would, it's like he had cheesy written down lines, like hokey one-liners for each thing. Kevin Frazier does his thing, man. Shout to Kevin Frazier. Shout to Kevin Frazier. Last night, a lot went on. Is this what you're running through in the rundown today, Laura Stap? No, I have others. So we can talk about this now.
Starting point is 00:39:22 And then I'll bring us more entertainment stuff in the rundown. Well, let's let's look at our girl Tiana Taylor since we're talking about golden gloves. That's right. The winner of Best Supporting Act. Oh, so happy. To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight, our softness is not a liability. Our death is not too much.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space. Thank you so much, everybody. No, man. I couldn't believe it. I was, I sat there and I was like, it would be so cool if Tiana Taylor won't.
Starting point is 00:40:03 And I was like, I didn't expect it. And then when you saw her face react to her name, yo, she could not believe it. Ugh, this is so, it's she, well-deserved, man. Now, how does this work, Laura Stows? Is this the beginning of the award season, the Golden Globes where it's like, you know, we're going to keep, I mean, now it's, what's next?
Starting point is 00:40:22 The goal is the middle. It's the middle. So what happens is it, the Oscars aren't next, right? Is it like the Oscars are for a choice that we saw Emmys, didn't we see the Emmy? Yes, yes. but there's there's the bathtub's in england next week there's sag after awards there's a lot that lead up to the Oscars which haven't even i don't think the nominations are even out for the Oscars
Starting point is 00:40:44 so there's still a couple of months away yeah there was a lot of i was also happy for um the the young ladies from k-pop demon hunters ej adri nunah and ray i mean because if you know their story first of you're a parent you've been like you've been playing kpop demon hunter's music nonstop right i banned it in the house but you're you know the story but you're you know the story But just like, you know, their story is so dope. They were just like rejected from the whole K-pop scene. You know, they grew up being, you know, told that this is what they needed to do. So they went through it, got rejected and look at them now, bro, accepting their golden globes on.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Yeah, but they hear this. But Laura, Laura taking it as something positive, I'll flip it and make it something negative. What do you mean? The K-pop demon hunters, the podcast award, as much as I love the Golden Globes, they also honor so much that it gets to be unsirious. You didn't like the podcast award? I saw that one. The podcast award. Yo, they were mocking it on the show.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Like, and then. And then Amy Poehler got received the award. That was, Yo, her whole thing was mocking it. Like, she was basically, she basically was embarrassed that this is how she won a Golden Globe. It was for this nonsense. And they put the podcast.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Well, no, no, the podcasts were in there with like NPR. And so she had to say, yeah. She had to acknowledge the fact that like, we're just celebrities, you know, talking, just yapping. But there's actual journalists who are doing podcasts that are very important. Yeah, but she did it in an amazing way.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Yeah, she did it as a joke, but no, like... What does they have to do with K-pop Demon Hunters? They won for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song. But they just, that the Golden Globes just put whatever is hot, they put it on the stage. That's all I'm saying. Like, I have no problem with them winning an award. Generally speaking, though, at big movie... I'm sorry, Laura, it's on a serious show.
Starting point is 00:42:31 K-pop Demon Hunters. It doesn't matter. It's humongous. Humongous isn't what these awards used to be. It used to be that you show the most critically important stuff. Listen, I don't respect the Oscars nominating 10 films that include, like, cartoons and silly comedies. It's not for me. I liked when it was five movies that were like supposed to be good movies.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Granted, they were usually all boring and I wouldn't want to see any of them, but that's what it was. So, no. But there is, but you can't acknowledge, right? whether you watch the thing or think the thing is a serious thing. There is art tied to it, right? There is art and entertainment tied to it. Like, we're not saying that the people who put together K-pop demon hunters or created these podcasts aren't deserving of acknowledgment in their craft.
Starting point is 00:43:19 It's frankly cool, actually. Stepping aside from myself, it is cool that on a big stage, things that do really well can get acknowledgement even if they're not serious. That's totally fine. It's just, Laura, my only point is, as someone who didn't watch it, they just made it like the theme of the night. It came up 38 times. No, no, no, but Rosenberg.
Starting point is 00:43:36 I was like, okay. No, but Rosenberg. No, but Rosenberg. It was that big. I believe you. And, and it was musically big. It was, it was, uh, the movie, like, the songs themselves were big. The movie was big, like separate in its own thing.
Starting point is 00:43:55 So why did you ban it from your house, bro? Because I don't think it's good because I watch. I've watched anime And I've also There is some K-pop that I think is dope music Okay There's a couple of songs In the K-pop Demon Hunters thing
Starting point is 00:44:11 That are okay songs I sat down and watched it with Issa Okay And I just said it's not a good movie This is just not a good movie And what did Issa think? She was like it's good My friends like it
Starting point is 00:44:21 I see I see you fall in you're following You're doing the dance People just all said they had to like you You're doing the dance You're trying to be in within crowd Are you trying to say it's good? Hit the dance. Hit the dance.
Starting point is 00:44:36 I'm about to give a solo shot. Hold on. Oh, it doesn't work that way. You're doing the dance. Your shoulders shimmying and the beat with the ink craft. You want to be accepted. You want to be at the cool table.
Starting point is 00:44:51 You're doing the dance. Or maybe they just really like the movie. Nah, bro. It's like the songs. No, you know. It's about acceptance, Ebro. It's over. It's over.
Starting point is 00:45:02 longer use that song for Laura's music. That song is now exclusive to when Ebro says someone's doing the dance. It's exclusive. You're doing the dance. Once they're doing the dance. But so, no, but I do it. And once again, I say that, I say that because we all do it. I'm not trying to be shady when I say
Starting point is 00:45:18 somebody's doing the dance. I may not like the reason why you're doing the dance. But I'm not, that's your, that's your choice. We all have to. And by the way, as humans, you know what I'm saying? It's kind of like the expression when in Rome. No. No, the Romans was out here wilding.
Starting point is 00:45:35 All right, let's be honest. When you look at this, the Rome was wilding. You ain't winning, don't. Winning Rome, don't. How about that? I have another complaint. I have another complaint about the Golden Globes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:48 I think it's corny that because the Golden Globes are every year, and they honor television every year, which I love that there's another place besides the Emmys to honor television. I hate when they give people that, award year after year after year. Gene Smart won again for hacks. I love hacks. I love I still, I'm still in.
Starting point is 00:46:11 It's a great show. She doesn't need to win every single. You could tell by this point she's like, whatever. All right, man. I already had all my speeches. I gave you everything I got. Thank you. Yeah, I mean, listen, there are other people.
Starting point is 00:46:24 I'm not even seeing this. This wasn't a cross. I'm not, I haven't watched hacks. I didn't watch the whole goal. No, this just means you don't pay attention to Laura. Whenever Laura covers. the Golden Globes every year. She'll say X show one again. I tune out. Usually I tune out of the golden globe.
Starting point is 00:46:38 But I do skip a lot of things to the things that we do know. Are you care about? So sometimes I just kind of go to that. But the bear, the bear every year. Yeah. She's part for hacks every year. So I haven't watched the bear, but I do remember the argument and I got to bring it back up. Laura's mad at the bear because it got nominated as a comedy and she thinks it's a serious show. That's not just Laura. That's the one. The joke about the bear is, why is it a comedy?
Starting point is 00:47:05 It's not funny. Right. But it's good, though. I just don't like it. You need to watch it. You didn't like the show? Laura, I've told you this 18. Yo, just as Ebro doesn't listen to Laura, Laura doesn't listen to me.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Best. Yo, you'll watch it. I think you'll like it. I will. You'll be a little triggered, though, by your crazy family dynamic. You'll be a little like, whoa, look. Tehran is back on Apple TV Plus. I'm busy.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Oh, God. Thank you, Griffin, Griffin, Gris. I need to watch the studio. Thank you, Griff remembers. Rosenberg couldn't stay with it. I did a whole rant. He did. I did it.
Starting point is 00:47:40 Congratulations, you played yourself. Any show where you have to tell me, just fight and stay with it. I, I don't have enough time. But you did do that with Severance. And I regret it. Severance season two sucked. I watched five minutes and got out.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Sorry, Apple. That's that show. Why do you apologize to Apple? I think they did pretty good with it. Without you. Yeah, they did all right. But, but, um, I, Severin's season two, how did you at the end of season one go, okay, now we're going to really get into what's going on.
Starting point is 00:48:14 We're outside of the world and we're going to show you everything. And then Ebro, season two, episode one, paled on it. We're back inside. I don't want to go back inside. Bailed on it. Nah, severance is boring. I'm tired. Fine.
Starting point is 00:48:26 You got, you know what, guys? You're smarter than me. Have your severance. Okay. I'm telling you all. follow it listen if you want a good show especially with everything going on in iran right now tehran is a good show i've heard tehran is great how many seasons are there of tehran this is the third season and they've and they've and then the second season ended in 2022 oh it's been a minute
Starting point is 00:48:48 oh wow okay okay but you could you could dive into three seasons on that um we have we have things we got to get to here on the ebro laurenberg show we don't have intro music for the rundown though it's been stolen by me doing the day So you got to have something else, Rosenberg. Hold on. You know what? I got you. I got you. Hold on. Give me a second. Give me just a split second. They have some stuff here. All right. By the way, I added some drops here for everybody at some point. So we'll get to some drops too.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Yes. This works for an intro song. Here we go. The rundown. Lorson. It's time for the rundown with Laura Stiles on the Ebro-Laura Rosenberg show. Hopefully something drops in here. No. Yeah, Laura, what you got today? All right, man.
Starting point is 00:49:48 I'll take it. Now, I don't know if you guys read, but, uh, and saw, but Trump has answered Diddy's request for a pardon. Okay. It's a big old nah. Whoa. He officially stated that he is not considering a partner. You played yourself.
Starting point is 00:50:05 For Diddy. Yes, there's, they submitted a formal request for Clements. be a personal letter. And in an interview with the New York Times, Trump confirmed that he received the letter. But it said he will not be granting the request. He said that his relationship with
Starting point is 00:50:23 with Diddy sort of busted up, quote unquote, after you know, he said some nasty stuff about him. It was very hostile towards him when he ran for politics. Oh, wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He openly said, I can't
Starting point is 00:50:39 do it because I don't like him anymore. Yes. Congratulations. You plagued yourself. And he was mean to me. He was nasty. So, yes. I don't believe me. That is so crazy. Yeah. I listened to some of that New York Times interview. They made it an episode of the Daily.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Oh, I got to listen. He sat with them for like two hours. And they have clips of it. They did like an hour of clips of it on the daily. It's pretty good. Question. Was he slurping his spit while he was talking? Oh, me, bro. Not that they may have edited out that. I don't know what you're referring to, but I didn't notice any of that.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I saw clips from him sitting down with some reporters. I don't know if it was the New York Times. There was a video and he was going, which, you know, you know I'm following doctors, multiple now at this point on my algorithm, who claim that his dementia is setting in so bad and the way dementia, the brain affects your ability to swallow your spit. And they're saying his dementia is getting worse.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Yeah. I mean, look at you know what it sounds like. We are. It's blood in the water. Talk to him. So now you got to bring the beat back. You got to bring the beat back. All right. Producing the music. It's the rundown with Laura Stiles.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Well, now I want to go to the lowdown. Oh, we get messy. Let's get messy. Okay. We're going to love. We're going to love. No. No, fucks.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Hold up. Hold on. It's time. It's time. For the low down. With Laura Stiles. Oh, yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:52:22 Well, listen, this is definitely the bocci and that's been circled. When they go low, Laura goes lower in the low down. And I'm bringing you with me. All right, man. I don't know if you guys saw this drama, but bro, I was like, offset, what are you doing? Did you see the offset and Selena Powell drama? Now, I don't know who Selena Powell is, but I did see him laying in the bed with some woman. Is that the same thing?
Starting point is 00:52:46 Yes, Ebro. Selina Offset. is, oh, she's so gross. She is known for like sleeping with all these people and exposing them. What was that woman remember during World Star? No, it was another one. There was another one.
Starting point is 00:53:00 And I hope somebody in the chat reminds me of her name, but she got famous for like exposing men. Yeah. But she's, yo, she's sloppy and she's gross. And I just don't understand why celebrities continue to deal with her. You know what she's gonna do. Maybe they want, maybe they want it.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Maybe this is like, some sort of a, not voyeurism. What's the other thing where you want to have sex in public and you want to kind of like? I don't know. I don't know. But yes, so Selena Powell shared a video of offset sleeping next to her, you know, hinting that they had a sexual encounter, right? And she's like filming him while he's passed out, all right?
Starting point is 00:53:36 But now she went. Cats. Cats. That's the one. That's the one. Yes, yes, yes. Thank you, chat. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:53:44 So now she went on this podcast talking about, you know, that she shared a FaceTime recording okay and where Offset is basically saying that he's trying to threaten like Stefan trying to beat him and shoot him in the knee bro it is
Starting point is 00:54:02 listen watch the video really quickly you have this yes watch this if I catch buddy and I can cancel him it's something there so I think she don't man be strip shot in the knee all type of see I wasn't on his He told me
Starting point is 00:54:18 that you was going to get he want when you see step on he's going to shoot him in his knee and strip him and rob him bro bro what are we doing and then you know there was also some allegations that she claimed that stephan digs was unable to like sign a son's birth certificate at the hospital because cardi be is still legally married to offset uh which angered stephan and now right now she's claiming that Offset has been harassing and threatening her daily because he owes her $15,000, which she claims he gambled the way. And then she went on Instagram and says, if anything happens to me, Offset did it. No, this is wow.
Starting point is 00:55:00 This is wow. This lady said that? Yes. Yes. Nah, bro. There's so many people you can land. That's what I'm saying, Rosenberg. Why?
Starting point is 00:55:12 You know, we live in the Instagram era, dude. You could just go, you can find someone, there's so many people, you have to go with a known. Well, so that's why, that's why I thought it was like a fetish at first. Like, it's like you, you just want to have sex with, it's almost like a porn star in a way, right? Like you've seen the risk of it. With this person. I want to have sex with this person because this person is, you know, it's like an adventure. It's like a, it's a ride.
Starting point is 00:55:39 It makes a lot more sense. Facts, but I was just liking it. I hear you. It's like a ride at a, it's a. like a ride at an amusement park. You know what I'm saying? It looks interesting. Somebody can get off the ride and tell you,
Starting point is 00:55:50 oh, that was fun. You want to be like, oh, I'm doing it. The further you go. Keep going. Let's see what happens with you. Yeah, I threw up, but let me try. I got the clap, but I'm going in. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:56:04 Let me see if I get in and out of this unscathed. You saw the guy get off the roller coaster and immediately puke, but you look at that drop and you're like, I got to try. I got to. You know what I'm saying? All right, I get it, me. I mean, that's what I'm going for it.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Yep. So that's the run down and the lowdown, guys. Wow. So. Good job, Laura. Thank you. That's the close. That's the close to the lowdown.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Yeah, great job. We love you down here in hell. All the hellish stuff you talk. We can't wait to see it. But you're done it. No, it's amazing. And now, and now for the Ebro-Laura Rosenberg show. It is time for the original gurus.
Starting point is 00:56:42 You can email the original gurus. at gmail.com you can get your guru in. Do we have the intro? We don't have a guru intro yet. Damn it, man. We have plans. We have plans.
Starting point is 00:56:53 We're working on it. We're working on it. I have, you know, the original guru. Choice so hard. I just want to, it should be documented that Rosenberg is worse
Starting point is 00:57:11 on the buttons and shiny culture. I don't have that one, though. It doesn't exist. I don't have it. Yeah, but you don't even have for like regular stuff
Starting point is 00:57:19 ready to go. Well, what would be the original? It's time for the group. I don't have, like, that was an intro. We don't, we can't use that in the whole intro. No, but we have Cali. Yeah, I wasn't, I don't have that yet. All right, all right, all right.
Starting point is 00:57:31 All right. I'm sorry. How about this, E. F out of here is back. That makes you feel good. How about this? I like to do this to you right now for calling me out. A ball jacket man.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Yeah, how about this? The Goralua. The Coralua. There you go. All right, the original gurus at gmail.com. The original gurus at. Gmail.com. Send us your problems.
Starting point is 00:57:54 The original gurus are here. Breathe in, breathe out. All right, Rosenberg. Tell us who's out there. Who's writing to us? Who needs us? Who needs the OGs? The original gurus at gmail.com. The original gurus at gmail.com.
Starting point is 00:58:15 It should be noted. I got great feedback. Oh, people like you. That's what they're saying. They could be lying because it's chaotic. But they're saying it. If we could just make it through this segment without you calling me out my name. Pitch your hose off limits.
Starting point is 00:58:29 No. If I can make it through today, it'll be great. Take your hose to yourself. I'll say this about my, I'm going to say this about my breathing, though. This thing that I've been dealing with, this lingering thing that I'm hearing many other people have right now. Wait, you're still sick? Bro, it will not, it came back this weekend.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I got this nasty, like, I can't stop coughing. It's like, my wife can't. stop coughing. This thing came back. Yo, I started taking antibiotics because I was looking online. In other words, I asked chat GPT. My doctor
Starting point is 00:59:05 prescribed me the antibiotics. Okay. Before the holiday. And he said, I'm going to give this to you in case over the holiday. It gets worse and you need it. I never took it and I sort of cleared up. Oh, hit yourself with the button. Well, no, he said just in case, though.
Starting point is 00:59:21 He said he didn't say take it. He said to sort of monitor. Well, that's why I came back because you didn't take it. You plagued yourself. So then when I asked chat GPT, I said, is it a bad idea for me to take this antibiotic I was prescribed? I described my situation. And it actually said that if you've been dealing with a nasal thing for a while and it starts to get worse randomly after more than two weeks, it could be bacterial. So I said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:59:49 What's the worst that could happen? And I saw it also may be your new apartment. Oh. What do you mean? Why? There's no mold in there. Is there a mold testing it? Rosenberg.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Why are you doing this? Get a mold test. Because it's old, isn't that an older building? Yes. And isn't it shoddy, isn't it ran by a shoddy landlord? That's how it seems. Things are questionable. No, do it.
Starting point is 01:00:15 My home girl would not stop getting sick, Rosenberg. She had one of those tests. That joint came up. Bing, big, pink, bang. Yeah. Mold everywhere. Mold everywhere. Then she called, like, professionals to come inspect and they're like, yep, behind your bed,
Starting point is 01:00:29 here, here, here, here. And I think those windowsills and a lot of those old buildings, you know, water leaks into those things, man. How about this? How about this? Mold Test kit for home. Seven simple detection tests. Test HVAC, system home surfaces, indoor air quality testing, DIY mold detector.
Starting point is 01:00:50 It could be delivered today for four. 1499. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. All right. All right. Let's get back to it. All right. Give me a little, you know, give me the harp. I need the harp. You have the harp again. Breathe in. Breathe that. All right. Who's writing to us, Rosenberg? Who needs us? Hopefully it wasn't mold that I just read. Oh, no, you just inhaled some. Focus.
Starting point is 01:01:15 OG gurus, I can't express how happy I am that all three of you are still together. bringing us a show. Thank you for that. Sidebar, if we could afford to hire Shani and Cast and Juanito, we'd take them too, but we're not there yet. In due time, hopefully, if that's what they want, you know what I mean? This evening,
Starting point is 01:01:35 while I was rubbing on my boyfriend's back, his phone went off. I reached a hand it to him and saw the name Rose on the screen. Oh, Rosenberg. I'm already hot about this story, because I wish my wife will rub my back. All I do is rub her back.
Starting point is 01:01:52 If I had, if she actually for once rub my back and I had the audacity to get a text message from Rose, come on, what are you doing, gee? All right, here we go, sorry. Anyways, fast forward, oh, no, we dealt with Rose exactly one year ago almost to the day. She's a co-worker of his. At the time, he told me they were just friends.
Starting point is 01:02:16 Even though they called each other my love. Nah, violation. Come on, bra. Nah. No. No. Nope.
Starting point is 01:02:29 All right, go ahead. He promised that would stop and assured me nothing physical had ever happened. Fast forward to today. They are still in contact. Not only that, but now they communicate through WhatsApp instead of I message,
Starting point is 01:02:43 which is how I discovered the messages last time. I am in complete. shock at the level of disrespect. I am heartbroken. I also fully understand what it will take for me to walk away from the home we've shared for five years. My world feels upside down and I'm struggling with one question. Should I go to their HR and report this? I don't know what the consequences would be, but my feelings clearly weren't considered. So why should I consider their livelihood? Thank you. Ibro, take it easy on me. I'm just heartbroken. Let me just shoot this down real quick. Unless this is like a supervisor and some intern, unless there's a power dynamic here,
Starting point is 01:03:26 that's right. They can flirt with each other at work. That's not some sort of, no, you're not, all you're going to do is mess with things you don't need to mess with, and I don't think it'll be effective. So no, no, I don't think HR is the route here. Well, and you, let's say it does work out the way you wanted to work out where you mess with their livelihood. It's not going to fix your broken heart. Nope. Yeah. And if you need them to paint, anything or do anything. He's not going to have a job. So you'd get hit with this, if that's the case. Congratulations. You play yourself.
Starting point is 01:03:56 Y'all do live together. So if he ended up losing his income, guess what? You still got to, and you still got to figure out how to get out of it. I don't know if you guys are homeowners or if you have a lease, but either way, you got to figure out how to get out of it if you want out of his relationship. And that's going to cost some money. So he's going to need it. I wish in these situations, I knew what the person wanted. Like, what do you want? do you she says at the end of the email she kind of she touches on it but she doesn't go all the way there i don't know what the consul okay she said should i go to hr no if that's it the answer is no
Starting point is 01:04:31 hr ain't it but she also said that she but she also said something about i know what it'll take to get out of this relationship she did she i fully understand what it will take for me to walk away so she's clear on that i guess she knows how hard that would be also yeah and and and I wonder if she's ready to take those steps because he is disrespecting you. This is, especially if you guys addressed this already and it's still continuing and then they move to what's up
Starting point is 01:04:59 to be a little bit more incognito. No, man. Now listen, what I'm going to say here is, it may not be received well and it may not be guru talk but I'm going to throw it out here. I say if you're, if you want to find out what the reality is, like what the future could hold, just leave.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Leave. Let him come home today and find an empty house. There you go. Go somewhere, go away. And then let's see what happens. The tough thing here is if her name's on the lease, she's still beholding the paying house. Oh, no, no.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Like right, I'm not saying she has to at this moment deal with the lease. Go to your mom's house. Go to a sibling's house. Go somewhere else for a minute and figure out what you want to do. And also watch what your guy does here. let's see let's see what happens now i want to throw this out here and it's not because i believe this to be true but i'm going to throw it out here okay um and i'm not saying i don't believe it because i don't i just literally don't know this is why i don't believe it right there is a world where your guy
Starting point is 01:06:03 is smart enough to not take an ish where he works meaning not actually mess with a co-worker not having a world there is a world where he absolutely has not had any sort of physical encounter with this it's all been texts flirting at work does that matter even more but well that's what i was going to ask it does that matter to you because you asked him to stop the texting he said he would and he just moved it to a different platform to try to hide it from you because he's still interested in feeling his his uh his male ego his masculinity is tied to kind of this mischievous behavior and that's sort of the best case scenario that's the bet exactly what i was about to say and so then now you have to analyze is him just being a mischief a douchebag someone who's willing to
Starting point is 01:07:04 hide flirty texts is that enough to break up yeah but i also take a into consideration that they quote-unquote went through this already. Do you understand what I'm saying? So I am assuming that she attempted to talk this through with him and give him another chance. Oh, she did. Yes. He took that and threw it in the garbage. That's right.
Starting point is 01:07:25 So he's continuing to disrespect her to invalidate her feelings, to make her feel like garbage. He does not respect you. Or the relationship enough to have discipline. Yeah. So I just think he's showing you how he really feels. So to me, it would be. It would have been different for me. Ibrahim, if she didn't try this already.
Starting point is 01:07:43 But she did. And he didn't stop. So you need to figure out what are the steps for you to figure out your lease, figure out financially how all of this is going to affect you. And can you do it? But I think she should burn it down. And keep in mind, she said, boyfriend. Oh, burn it down, girl.
Starting point is 01:08:03 Burn it down. Five-year relationship feels like a long time. But we didn't hear kids. We didn't hear marriage. if you have someone in your life that is incapable of being disciplined in the ways you need them to be in your relationship, don't have children with them, and don't get into homeownership with them or marriage.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Yeah. Get out. I pray you're just renting an apartment. Therefore, you guys can figure out how to either remove his name off the lease or your name off the lease, but whatever you got to do, I think it's time to go. I think you already gave him the chance and it wasn't good enough for him. And by the way, my point was, if you just roll out, he's going to show you what he's made of.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Mm-hmm. You know, if it literally is like his world ended and he comes to you and realize, and has it come to Jesus where he realizes something. And over time, you want to see if he's possible of making change. Sure. To Laura's point, you already gave him that opportunity. Yeah. Yeah, but a lot of dudes, they don't, when you just, when you just, first of all,
Starting point is 01:09:04 she gave him a pass on something that was pretty bad the first time. That's right. that weird you don't know the person they're saying my love and you you basically let me explain to you how dumb men are when you didn't like threaten to leave him off of that that might have been like oh i'm good i'm good take that big a deal well and to rosenberg's point um you can also do what everyone else is doing out here giving people extra chances hoping this works out for the best you know what i mean have have some kids get married maybe that'll fix it and then have a realization later on. You know what I mean? That's what everybody else is doing.
Starting point is 01:09:39 That's what's hot in these streets. Girl, burn it down. I don't know. I say, me, Laura, saying burn it down. You already gave him a chance. You already tried. Look at Rosenberg. Woff. Walk away.
Starting point is 01:09:53 It's not that. It's that, you know, the situation, I think you're probably right. I think you're probably right. I think, especially in this situation, it sounds like he just didn't respect you at all. It's been five years yelling of kids. That's a big mess up, man. Sorry. I lean towards that.
Starting point is 01:10:07 And hit him with the button and that's it. Congratulations. You plagued yourself. That's the gurus, the original gurus. The original gurus at gmail.com. If you have an email, you're going through something, the gurus can help you out. How did I do today?
Starting point is 01:10:18 I wasn't too chaotic. Pretty good. Pretty on point, man. I got to tell you. I tried to keep it easy today. Man. You did good. You did good.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Yeah, I was impressed by that. We currently have 3,000 viewers in the room, which is amazing. Oh, that's pretty cool, man. And shout to all the subscribers. we've, I think we're pushing like 50,000 subscribers. We're pushing 45,000. We can't get ahead, okay? All right, 45, sorry.
Starting point is 01:10:44 I looked at it wrong. 45,000. And, yeah, man, it's the Ebro-Laura Rosenberg show. There is blood and water. Big announcements coming as we're going to be some big news tomorrow. Yeah, we look forward to, we'll break it all down. We'll break it all down. Starting point is 01:13:01 And I wanted to share another experience that I've had, my secret behind monetizing my show. It's called Red Circle. And I was just telling my colleague about how much I love their platform. With Red Circle, not only am I getting a seamless hosting experience, but I also love the support I receive in ad sales. It's not just typical ad sales either. It's targeted opportunities based on my show and my life. And the platform is super simple.
Starting point is 01:13:23 You just set your preferences and Red Circle matches you with sponsors that align with your show. You can vet every opportunity and their platform gives you great analytics. More recently, too, my Red Circle team has brought me opportunities outside of my podcast on social media. To really augment the podcast partnerships, bring them full circle, I just can't recommend them enough. If you want to give it a try, go to Red Circle.com to get your free trial. That's Red Circle.com for a free trial.
