Starting point is 00:01:02 Rosenberg show Hebrough, Laura Rosenberg Show Show, show, show, show. Laura back. We got LeBron James talk. We got Ryan Clark, Nolan Wells, update. Hunter Biden doing more talking.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Hunter's really outside. He really is. He's moving around. Hunter's going for it. This weekend was mired with a lot of Trump. Was that on your Algo, Laura? Yeah, unfortunately. It was.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Fortunately. No, I said, unfortunately. Oh, I was like, wow. Unfortunately. So it was, what was it? What was the correspondence there? Well, it was the makeup White House correspondent. So this was the make good from the last shooting thing.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Yeah, that no one even remember. Remember when like there was another assassination attempt? And it's like, no one even remembers that it happened. Yeah. It's the makeup for that way. Is this really real? Right. It's the makeup from that.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Got it. So Trump's there. Friday night. So we got to get into a lot of that stuff. of this week from this weekend what else should we uh be focused on from this weekend other than the trump of it all well uh in the rundown we'll discuss the verses all right big west coast versus yes it was right and center so that almost didn't happen it felt like it almost didn't happen i mean that's what the news said yeah yeah so i i got uh media i got the scoop on what happened to
Starting point is 00:02:31 yg and then yo this chris brown story is kind of crazy well this is an old story the chris brown story yeah but like he was recently in court and i'll i'll give you the the scoop in the rundown, but he could possibly go to jail. Did you see any other outlet other than World Star report on that? Because I know Rassan sent it over from World Star. You're already dubious. And I was already like, wait, Chris Brown might miss half of his tour. That was the headline.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And I was like, I don't know if that's valid. No, no, I saw a lot of outlets reporting on it because he was in court. So it was a real thing. But we'll talk about it later on. Let's go to clip seven. This is Wolf Blitzer giving a, uh, A correspondent, what are these awards called? I guess they have some awards at the correspondence dinner,
Starting point is 00:03:16 and this was a journalism award that was given at the White House Correspondents' dinner. Okay. This year's award goes to the Wall Street Journal. The journal's courageous reporting on President Trump's past relationship with financier Jeffrey Epstein triggered the release of the so-called Epstein files. Thousands of documents that might otherwise have remained hidden from the public. Keep that in mind, folks.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Despite the president's threat of a lawsuit, the journal published a story about a provocative letter to Epstein bearing President Trump's signature. Trump quickly filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the journal, revealing reporter Kadeja Softdar's home address. Her family had to be relocated. The journal was kicked off of Air Force One. But the reporters continue to file revelatory stories. welcome the winners of the Catherine Graham Award from the Wall Street Journal.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Kadija Safdar, Sadi German, Annie Lindski, Josh Dossi again, Alex Leary, Rebecca Bell. It cuts off, but Trump actually stood up and started shaking all of the journal his hands. I didn't see that part. That's crazy. Yeah, I saw a video of that. Now, could it be AI? I guess it could have, but, um, uh, uh, Rassan says he's getting it now.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Okay. But nonetheless, now Rosenberg, do you believe that this now reported Donald Trump goes on mental health social media rants? Has anything to do with him being embarrassed like this at the White House correspondent? Well, that, I don't even know if that's the most embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:05:07 That part probably wasn't the embarrassing part for Trump. Okay. Him being called those things in front of people, while it's awkward and impressive of war, to like, you know, and these reporters to all be there. I don't think that really embarrasses him. It's all stuff he knows. What was embarrassing is he spoke for over an hour and was cracking jokes and just, I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:27 bombing, bro. Just rambling. And remember, this isn't a room full of his sick offense. Yes, some of them. You have your handful of losers there who, but most of the people are just people who work at news organizations. Right. So he's trying to drop these jokes, these awkward, going after Caitlin's.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Collins and comparing her to Dylan Mulvaney. I don't know who Dylan Mulvaney was the trans person they put on the Bud Light. They did the Bud Light ad with. Oh, okay, okay, okay. Yo, bro, no, you would shake your head because you don't remember that story because it was three, four years ago. I remember Bud Light being an issue with the Magas, but I didn't really understand why. It might have been Trump one.
Starting point is 00:06:07 It's that old. And he's talking about the trans, like, and comparing Caitlin Collins and the joke is just, Caitlin Collins is sitting there just showing the side of her head no one's laughing So I think that was the bigger embarrassment is he bombed Now Rassan which clip do you have ready
Starting point is 00:06:23 I'll shake oh here you Saddam Sadi German Annie Linsky Josh Dossi again Alex Leary Rebecca Ballhouse and Ryan Barber Their colleague Joe
Starting point is 00:06:38 Pellizolo could not attend tonight Look at her face Look at her face. You talk about a tough spot. What would you do there? My stank face would be on. Like the first lady. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:10 I think that guy was fine. That guy was good. They're fine. That guy's fine. Goofy. Actually, like a goofy. So after this and them just sitting up there smiling, remind you, they're talking about the Epstein flowers.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Okay. Which has effectively become some sort of like, joke to clearly to them. They don't take it. There's a, like, what are we doing? Do we know what's in the Epstein vows? Do we remember that this is about underage girls being sexually trafficked and abused? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:55 It's about rape of underage girls. Yeah. He's up there shrugging his shoulders laughing. The audience is applauding. He's shaking hands. People are laughing. So effectively they have made this such a circus That they can go up in front of the world
Starting point is 00:08:16 And joke about it now we know he has no shame Right So he can't you can't embarrass somebody who has no shame No you can't do it it's they have no shame so they don't care But I just wanted to kind of reiterate the kind of backdrop of what we just saw Because we're acting like that was just some journalism award And they had some negative stuff to say about Trump No, they forced those journalists forced the release of the Epstein files that we have all seen so far, what we've seen.
Starting point is 00:08:51 And he was so upset about it that he sued the Wall Street Journal for $20 billion, which didn't go anywhere. But nonetheless, we're forgetting the backdrop. Well, and they included an end up outing a victim. was it outing a victim's address? Yes. Yes. No, he did. No, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:09:12 He did. No, no, no. The first lady that shook his hand? That was her. Not a victim. A journalist. Her family had to move. That's a relocate.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Because he and his cronies docks her. That was the first lady up there? The first lady that shook the hand that walked over and kind of had this thing face and still shook his hand. At least that's what I've read on the internet. Yeah. Yeah. But no, I don't think that's embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:09:37 I mean, that's not the embarrassing part. Well, no, I just wanted us to remember what we're actually looking at. Yeah. Right? Because we get so inundated with things that I think we forget how disgusting we are currently. Well, if you keep talking about it, people just don't think past the headline anymore. It's normal. It's dismissed.
Starting point is 00:10:00 I was like, oh, yeah, Epstein Files. They forget how deep and dark and cruel and disgusting it is. I'll take you somewhere else. Laura, we're sitting here talking about it right now. That's all we can do. Let's talk about it. We can't do anything else. There's no one doing anything.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And one of the things they talked about those writers found was the proof that Trump, like the Trump letter to him. Yeah. Which was really damning. I mean, that Trump... Wolf just talked about it in the presentation of the award. I know.
Starting point is 00:10:28 But like that, that's a really... With his signature. That's the part that really connects them and shows that they were good, good friends. not just like acquaintances who knew each other a little. When he tries to act like, yeah, but then I'd stop being in front, but not during the prime era. Of course.
Starting point is 00:10:46 And mind you, this is the party who's always pointing the fingers at perverts and everyone's a pedophile. Like that's why they target the LGBTQ community. That's why they come for authors. Everything is sexualization of this. They're coming after the kids that. Well, I mean, what's the pizza. What about Comet Pizza in Washington?
Starting point is 00:11:05 Yes. They made up a whole pizza gate and put Hillary Clinton as like the face of sexual predators. And again, like Iber always says, it's every, every accusation is an admission. That whole thing about the Clintons, I'm not, listen, Bill Clinton obviously had his own things. Hillary Clinton being the face of child trafficking and they were showing up at the pizza place, putting people in danger. It was a made-up crazed internet conspiracy. This whole thing has tentacles everywhere. The president's sitting there and kind of just like that,
Starting point is 00:11:41 yeah, we were really good friends. What else can you say? I drew a picture for him. Trump drew a weird sexual picture. And by the way, I love our seekers. Well, and by the way, nobody's going to do anything. That's the sad part. It's like, nothing's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:12:00 How much proof do you need? People have tried to do lots of things. There are people still actively working. I mean, we can't pretend like there aren't people whose whole life mission is to try to do more with this. Yeah. There's only so much I guess they can do. And maybe, and maybe, maybe everybody's waiting for the midterm. Maybe that's what they're waiting to have the House of Representatives and the Senate, you know, have some turnover.
Starting point is 00:12:25 So maybe they can push some things for it. But I maintain this is not going to be the thing that beats them anyway. So even if you get everything you want, it's not going to be enough to change. You have to get these people out of office. Like, they're not going to get them arrested. Trump's not going to jail. Absolutely, yeah. And, and...
Starting point is 00:12:43 Well, and that, by the way, I just want to make sure I point out and been saying this for almost what? 10 years. I'm getting there. You plagued yourself. Like... Congratulations. You plagued yourself.
Starting point is 00:12:56 You're going to have in our society, you're going to have continued and repeat behavior of politics. being this corrupt if you don't this whole handshake you know gentlemen gentlemen's political agreement that we uphold certain you know truths to be self-evident and all this other bullshit shut up if ain't nobody going to jail if the senate and the house of representatives don't actually have an arm that can that can actually enforce the law Do you have you don't you're not sorry you have nothing I know you have nothing
Starting point is 00:13:41 Yeah this is not one where there should be handshakes and everything's okay but remember Whenever the Democrats try to go after him it's always seen as this witch hunt And remember when it goes the other way and people literally break into the Capitol Harm people people die Dunu gets smeared on the walls That pursu doing those people is seen as a witch hunt. Well, it's because the disingenuous, disgusting, you know, delinquents that run social media, right?
Starting point is 00:14:20 It's social media is full of shitheads that make $500 a month to just spew nonsense and get the algorithm going in a certain direction. and you know people who are trying to do good they don't move like that bro they're not just out here paying scumbags to clip up shit and act like i mean hell um speaking of scumbags hunter biden sitting with nick puentes man like hunter biden yes crackhead addict all of that trying to like you know have honest convo feels the need to go sit with a full fucking shit. Oh man, I'm cursing a lot.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Well, they, they sat together with someone. I don't even know, I don't even know how to express my emotion tied to this. I know. He's a white supremacist, period. Well, he,
Starting point is 00:15:12 so they went on someone else's show both of them together at the same time. Okay. He wasn't on, if that makes a difference. I don't believe it was Fuentes' platform. But when I saw it, I was just like, why you're going to try to,
Starting point is 00:15:26 and don't get me wrong, you watch him trying to say things and you appreciate like saying it to their face, but you're still. Even though it's crazy that Hunter Biden can legitimize anyone Because of all the things you just mentioned, He's still the son of a president from a few years ago. Well, he's also legitimate.
Starting point is 00:15:41 He's also from what we know of him other than crack and prostitutes, been a good guy. Yeah, we don't know that he's like. I know some, I've known some nice crackheads. FX. Of course. And I've known some nice people who get prostitutes. 1,000 percent.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Some of the greats of all time have done both. It's, do you want to watch the, I mean, Let's watch. All right. Well, this is wonderful. What do you think about somebody like Mom Donnie? Personally, I don't like him. I don't like some of the things that he said.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Like, for example, on Fourth of July, when he takes the opportunity to sit there with, let's be honest, not a single white person in the room and says, you know, the founding fathers would look down on us, the working people with their dirt-streaked hands against the billionaires. I think it's a little too divisive. I like his energy. I like that he's young.
Starting point is 00:16:29 It's ironic. Fair enough. That's rich funny But it seems pointed at me I know but I know But the thing He was dissing you in that video Yeah, a little bit
Starting point is 00:16:44 staring down the camera Like you make You son of a bitch People like me Yeah Speaking of prostitutes You know what Hunter Biden could fix Nick Fuentes
Starting point is 00:16:54 If you get him some prostitutes For the love of God Listen to that man's voice That is a man who has never touched Of a jeet Testicles haven't dropped yet. Something, I'm telling, and I think he's talked about that. Like, he's never had a woman.
Starting point is 00:17:06 He's not into, like, he's not gay, God forbid, of course, but he's not into women either. He might be, bro. Like, you know, a lot of these people don't know with their sexuality. But he will out, well, you've seen the clip of him talking about it, right? Where he talks about like, oh, wow, women make you weak. I'm not chasing women, blah, blah, blah. It's like, bro, that's why you sound like that. But you can see there, him even using words like divisive and then laughing at himself.
Starting point is 00:17:28 He knows he's divisive. Of course. So he knows he's full. shit right you see what i'm saying so now we're having real conversations with people who know they're just algo hustling that's you're not a serious person jo rogan you're not a serious person theo von you're not these aren't serious people you're just algo hustlers right and so now legitimate conversations right whether or not you think hunter's legitimate or not legitimate conversations have to go through these people who have just hustled individuals
Starting point is 00:18:01 to subscribing and being a part of a platform. You should, does that make, is it making sense what I'm saying? Of course it is, but you did, you did something interesting there, which is, and, but it speaks to something that I think is a major problem. You brought up to people who are wildly different in Nick Fuentes and Theo Vaughan, right? Like, there's seemingly a ton of space between them, except Theo Vaughan did at some point say he thought Nick Fuentes was, I like how honest he. is and he is still will like even though theo von may not be that person all the time he's okay
Starting point is 00:18:38 with it at times correct which is all part it's all part of putting it in our algorithm and baking it normal well and nor the normalization of it back to the epstein thing we just watched the epstein combo is so normal that there's no shock left and and people like nick foentes who are straight up hitler lovers i mean he he he these people him what's your man's name I always forget his name Bascom who's big
Starting point is 00:19:06 the fake the fake black Charlie Kirk who we did this last time and everyone you know he goes and sits in campus he was one of the idiots
Starting point is 00:19:15 who talked to the girls on the podcast guys why are you having me do this again I know same thing doing what are you doing Myron Gaines
Starting point is 00:19:24 yes Myron Gaines and people like that you know I learned who myron was on this show yeah exactly we did the exact same skit and only this time I lost basketball.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Last time I at least had him. This time I looked at me like this. You knew last time. Anyways, these people like that guy are wearing the, you know, have worn these shirts. Yeah. About cookies in the oven that are based on what's cookies in ovens comparing Jews in ovens to cookies. And Hunter Biden brings, Hunter, that's another clip I saw of Hunter Biden being like, I got to explain. I got to ask you about this shirt that you wear.
Starting point is 00:20:01 And he's like, oh, and he's like, you understand that's not funny. Like you're, you're, he's like, it's a joke. He's like, no, you, you don't joke about comparing human beings to cookies in an oven. He's like literally trying to explain it to someone. If you have to explain that to these people, there's no conversation to be had. I can't, that's where I really think about you. I'm like, I'm sorry. I appreciate you trying like to look at someone and say like, because Hunter says that.
Starting point is 00:20:28 He's like, I'm looking you in the eyes. My wife and my children are Jewish. How can you think that's funny? There's nothing funny. That's their real family trauma. And he says all the things. This is what makes him good. He's like, take out everything else.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I don't want to talk about Israel. Nothing. Those are just people. And you're comparing cookies in an oven to their real experience. And like, Nick's like, are you just going to lecture me? Or I'm like, bro, we can't have a conversation. That's what I'm saying. This is why we never sat down with the Tommy Lorenz and the Candace Owens and all because they're not serious people.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Well, and they're also just not. This is not good people. Not good, not as smart as they pretend to sound. No. Because everything they say is essentially rooted in hate. It's the same basic, not intelligent hatred that people have been espousing in this country since it started. It's the people we've been fighting the whole, that good people have been fighting the entire time. But smart enough to have a fan base, which is the sickening part.
Starting point is 00:21:25 People who digest this and love it and consume it because they think they're brave. You know what I mean? Or they're like, look at them, not scared to say how they feel. And they probably do agree with them. There's something about them that connects with people. Like, I was had this thought. They're entertainers, man. Yeah, but I was watching a clip that we were looking for.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I don't know if Louis found it. I was trying to find one of the clips of Mehdi Hassan and Hassan Piker. You got it? All right, let's watch this clip and then remind me to tell you what the thought that I had. All right. A Democrat. Who would you pick between Gavin Newsom and Rahm Emanuel? Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Oh, shoot me. I have no idea. You have to pick one. That's the game. You know what's crazy? Rahmmanuel is better on foreign policy than Gavin Newsom. Criticizing Israel recently, you buy that? Yeah, I mean, I don't buy it.
Starting point is 00:22:15 But at least he's doing it. His dad was in Irgun, I think, which is wild. All right, so Rahm Emanuel Gavin Newsom is Rahm. I don't know. But because Gavin is an empty suit, so are we capable of pushing him? But he's also an empty... I'm not doing the game, you are. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Rahm Emanuel or Gavin Newsom. I don't know. Gavin Newsom, probably. Gavin Newsom or Pete Buttigieg. Pete Buttigieg. This game sucks. Pete Buttigieg or Kamala Harris. Ooh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Because I'm like, I'm now thinking like who's more malleable. Who's more susceptible to... Whatever reason you have, I've just like you to give it to influence. I don't know. I mean, Kamala Harris, I guess. She has more name recognition. Kamala Harris or John. also oh john ossov john ossov john ossoff or j b pritzker uh j b prisker why i think j b prisker despite
Starting point is 00:23:07 being a billionaire is again more responsive whereas john ossoff as john ossov has a more john ossoff has a more and is like i think secretly closer to uh you know my world view than j b prittsker is even uh push pritzke but i think pritzker has this uh like this this this ability to read the room the side of the room, whereas John Asov is always reading the right side of the room, if you know what I mean. I do. Like one is posturing to the left, the other is posturing to the right more than they should prefer the posturing of the billionaire to the left. J.B. Pritzkore, Chris Van Hollen. Chris Van Hollen. Chris Van Hollen or Rocahanna? Rocahanna or AOC? AOC. It's not even a question. AOC is out of all of the people that you mentioned, like, AOC is the only one that I would like.
Starting point is 00:23:54 And you think she could win? General election. Yeah, yeah. I do. In a misogynistic racist country. Yes, yes, I do. Yes. A lot of misogynist and races in this country. 100%. Absolutely. America was built on the foundations of white supremacy and elected a black man whose middle name was Hussein.
Starting point is 00:24:11 But you know that the position of Barack Obama. So. Do you want us to remind you now of what you're going to talk? No, I remember. You want to comment about that? No, let me, I remember it and I'll say it right now. Yeah. What is it about them two very smart, progressive guys?
Starting point is 00:24:28 To me, watching them talk is not, and I like them both. And yet they're not particularly appealing to me. And it's just sitting there and watching them talk. I don't think they're ever. Appealing or entertaining? Both. Okay. They're never going to reach people who don't already agree with them.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Whereas a lot of the people who we talk about in the algorithm and we don't like and we think, and Lori, you just pointed out, but like they're smart enough to do blank, they're able to capture sort of empty minds. and pull them over and make them believe what they believe. Those guys are not catching anyone. I don't know why. Hassan Piker, who I love, I mean, he's great. He's dressed like Fidel Castro.
Starting point is 00:25:10 What is going on, my man? Like, and the level of serious- I don't think that's a Fidel outfit. I don't even know what the comp is, Ebro. I'm so I'm reaching. Pardon me, I've never seen anyone dress like that in real life. I think he was trolling. I think Hassan dressed like that too troll, by the way.
Starting point is 00:25:24 He dresses, but he's been doing a whole thing every time. No, no, no, I think he doesn't. It's a troll. When he did our show, he was normal. Yeah, yeah. After everything I saw him do after us was like big suit, big time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I'm not trying to say, so they're great and they have a value.
Starting point is 00:25:38 And they have a big following. And they have a big following. But do you see what I'm saying? They're not grabbing anyone to change. It's intellect. All you're talking about is. It's too smart. Well, you're just talking.
Starting point is 00:25:47 So you're basically saying, and we know this, and we can relate this to music and lyrics and lyrics and lyricism and rap. For sure. The more, the more simple lowest common denials. denominator, sex, raunchy, you know, mindless, the music is, generally the more popular it is. I could even compare it, wait for it, to morning shows. There you go. Yes, I could.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I sure could. And it's frustrating because everyone's going, who's going to be the left Joe Rogan or about, you ain't going to find it because the conversations are not simple enough for people to grab it. Or maybe people. I mean, look, we had success in New York City being sensible and trying to be somewhat in, intelligent. Yeah, we did. Right. So it's not impossible.
Starting point is 00:26:32 In a specific place. In a specific place where we knew how to also do local relatable things. But I also don't think that the people who finance and market and push things forward are helping finance things that are encouraging intelligent conversations. I don't think that that's an investment that they don't have money to invest in that right no they have money though but not to invest is that not in that not in that but Hassan and and uh uh meddy and I'm trying to think there's definitely people out there were trying to have intelligent conversations for sure even and more than before they're reaching
Starting point is 00:27:20 even our other friend Hussein Hassan Manage is for sure yes yes yes is out here moving around the podcast world doing Wait, is that our issue? Do we don't have anyone name Hussein or Hassan? Should I start using my government, Ibrahim? It might help because they got Metti Hassan, Hassan Piker, and Hussein Minaj. Yeah. And you guys are watching Ibrahim, Laura, and Rosenberg.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Yeah, that might, that might. But you know what? One thing that I will say, what's his brother's name, Isaiah Martin? The one who's always frying up Magas. Yeah. I feel like part of his popularity is for the simplicity of him checking people. Yeah. That's why people like him.
Starting point is 00:27:59 It's not always the meat and potatoes of the conversation. They just love to see him crush someone. Which has a value if you're trying to cut through. I think also to, it takes time to build your platform. Like they're, you know, jumping up today and trying to have a platform that reaches a certain audience and have credibility with that audience by November, it's not going to happen for you, bro. It's not how it works Joe Rogan's been around how long
Starting point is 00:28:30 Doing what he's doing like 20 Yeah Joe Hudson's been around how long on the internet Don't making content like 20 You know what I'm saying I don't know Nick Fuentes his whole timeline But it's still a while at this point Even academics how long's he been doing what he's doing 15? Yeah a long time
Starting point is 00:28:46 15 like these guys have built an audience And have connection to community That they've built and so If you don't have that and you haven't put that time And you just don't have deep enough relationships. And so, you know, and then now you have traditional media, which is, you know, really not wanting to be about anything because it's dangerous to the advertiser, which is dangerous to the bottom line, because you might get in the fray with the president,
Starting point is 00:29:13 et cetera, et cetera. And so you don't have people on mainstream platforms doing it because it's too dangerous. Yeah. Pretty much. You know, they're playing middle of the row. At least for the, at least until the minute, it's going to be interesting after the midterm to see if something actually shifts in this country in the in the Congress and um and people actually start to really open up about how they feel because right now I can guarantee you people are definitely sitting quiet not wanting to lose whatever of course of course of course yo bro even as simple as me coming back into the country and they randomly select me again I'm like oh boy here we go it Don't you think it crosses my mind?
Starting point is 00:29:54 Like, wait, I was like, is my phone okay? Like, you know, I didn't get the burner phone that people were telling me to get. Like, things like that really crossed my mind. Oh, is that a thing? I didn't realize. Yes. People say they have like an extra phone you bring with you
Starting point is 00:30:06 that just has nothing on it. Yes, yes. Just in case they want to search your phone for whatever reason. Because now they do whatever you want. So if you have a burner phone, they're going to ask this one. Someone made a good point in our chat.
Starting point is 00:30:17 They said, um, at Seahorn said, disagree with Rosenberg. It's easier to reach people when you're being hateful or bigoted. Totally agree. Yeah. That's in there too, of course. Yes, yes, yes. They're not coming up with some easy blame it on another group talk. That's always very popular.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Go to clip number 11. Look at this story. It was done by, I guess this is a UK news outlet. I was an unapologetic MAGA activist. The opposition Democratic Party is an amalgam of all of the worst mass-suffering ideologies in the history of mankind. The way I looked at it is I was embroiled in this good versus evil battle between everyone in MAGA and everyone who was against us. In MAGA, I was addicted to rage. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I was always enraged and angry at somebody or something. And there is a dopamine-infused reaction that happens from being addicted to rage. I had allowed myself to believe lies. I had believed that they were coming for our guns and trying to indoctrinate our children in the public schools. They were trying to replace white people with brown people and foreigners. I started to realize, no, this is not true. I had crafted an entire persona and identity based on lies.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Rich formed leaving Maga, a group designed to help others make the difficult transition he himself made. What's the uptake being like for this? We have never been busier. Really? And I am hopeful and optimistic for the future because when we leave MAGA, we have to reintegrate ourselves back into our democracy rather than tear it down. And one of the ways that we build up our democracy is by recognizing that we agree more than we disagree.
Starting point is 00:32:10 It's a cult, bro. It's a cult. My brain's ability to be empathetic. is I like I glitch I glitch like I'm like how how like when he's like
Starting point is 00:32:27 leaving Maga you have to reintegrate into society what who this has been 10 years we're 10 years in well not even that but like you were that far gone yeah and earlier in the clip
Starting point is 00:32:45 the main thing the the the interviewer asked them he said so what was the thing that like helped you realize that you were just like you know down a bad path or whatever words he was and the guy the leaving maga guy said i started to look at different news outlets as simple as that i started to read other articles and was just kind of like oh this is what other people are saying mm-hmm let me look into it a little deeper Oh, wait. Or let me just hear a different view.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Like, it blows my mind that people are. And so I bring that up because you, we were talking, the super chatter said, you know, racist, bigotry really helps you go. It deals with the rage. And people, you know, in this society, have talked about the anger of the flyover states. Remember that conversation? The flyover states.
Starting point is 00:33:51 That was like a 26th. thing, the middle America, where they were so ready to, remember, drain the swamp. Yeah, yeah. They got played into thinking that voting for Donald Trump and getting in this movement, right, because they wanted to be a part of something that felt like they were taking back a country that left them. So we all have to remember that. Don't forget how we got here. Trump is an empty suit also, as Hassan Pikes said,
Starting point is 00:34:22 about Gavin Newsom. Remember, you would always say, Trump doesn't believe anything. All he cares about is being popular and making money. And whoever's going to be his followers, that's who he's going to. And that's why they chose him, though, because they knew he stood for nothing.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Yeah, yeah, it's easier to manipulate. Right? Oh, this guy's great. He's going to, he's going to, for the people who funded him, right, and financed his last 10 years, they benefited tremendously from his corporate tax breaks. deregulation of things. They have made money hand over fist.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Generational. Oh, yeah. Multi-generational wealth. Forever wealth. Forever money. And so this paid off for them. For the rest of us, though, right? We're left with the scraps, the fallout, the cleanup.
Starting point is 00:35:18 We got to clean it up again. Because that's what this is going to be. about. And so, but you have to remember that there is a large group of people, mostly white, white men and women who voted for this because they felt like they were losing their country. Yes. Now, why were they made to believe this? Because it's the only way the Republicans can get voters because they don't have enough, they don't have enough people. But that goes back to what the person said, Seahorn said in the chat.
Starting point is 00:35:52 about the bigotry selling. Right. It's the only thing that you know will really galvanize people who otherwise... Especially against black and brown people. Oh my God, yeah. And veiled under religion,
Starting point is 00:36:02 you know, the Christian nationalist movement. When was the last time it had such a spike in popularity? I know it's always been there, but let's keep it real. It's playing Donald Trump like a puppet. And it's always easy, like, hey, let's pick another group.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Whoever the other group is that you could say is beneath you. The fight... You have to look at the people who finance... benefited from the last 10 years. They had money to invest in this. This was money was spent.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Remember that. Money was spent on these podcasts to be bigger. Advertising rolled into these podcasts to be bigger. Money was spent. I mean, we talk about it now for this program, right? To gain popularity, right? On the internet, you have to spend money. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Every you think what you're seeing in your algorithm is like organic. It is not. It is not. It is put in front of you by paid platforms to market their content. There is nothing going on on the internet that is not paid for. It feels that way. Yeah. How do you think they make money?
Starting point is 00:37:17 They don't make money just because you scroll and post. Right. And why do I get shown things I've said I'm not interested in before? Because of my paid for you to see it because you fit a demographic they're trying to read. They show me all the people I don't mess with. They show me all the time. And I will say, I'm not interested. I don't want this.
Starting point is 00:37:32 And then somehow it comes back later. You're sure? You know my little taste? You know, this person, you've publicly stated you hate this person. You're sure you don't want to see what they have to say. So keep that in mind as we get deeper into the midterms this year. And you know, the 20s. 28 elections too.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Laura Stowis, you ready for the rundown? Let's go. Laura got the rundown, turn that up. Screen's on glow when she pulled up. Headlines heavy, but we still caught up. Life still flashing, we don't slow. All right, the big versus went down the game versus YG. April, you were front and center.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I was. You were in the building. Yeah. I saw clips of the celebration. First of all, after a while, it just felt like one big party. It was. It was one big part Versus has become a different
Starting point is 00:38:25 It's a different thing It depends You know the last one Rosenberg You and Tony Baker Were saying it Didn't come across your algorithm At all
Starting point is 00:38:33 Because you weren't in the demo Yeah Which was pretty Ricky And B2K Too old, too white It wasn't for me Not female It wasn't set
Starting point is 00:38:40 Not a woman It wasn't sent to me And so But that was like One of the biggest Verses of most recent times They actually were battling The entire time
Starting point is 00:38:49 Or Tyrese and tank They were like Talking shit to each other and you know boom boom boom i think the game and yg were more for more focused on celebrating their city you know because their neighborhoods are literally across the street from each other and so i think this was really important to them uh had a conversation with them you can check it out on the internet rap life review look it up on uh apple music's uh youtube channel or you know if you want to look you can actually still go watch the verses on apple music too um but you know i think look um when you're from where they're
Starting point is 00:39:22 from and doing a performance in LA when you're from those neighborhoods and celebrating like that, it's not going to happen often. You know what I mean? Like those events, nobody throws those events for them. So it was really cool that verses and Apple Music was able to do that. Yeah. And you wanted to be a celebration of love. Like that's not something where you wanted to be about them.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Nah. And there was a, there was a, listen, their affiliations make it tense enough. There's a, you know what I mean? Everybody just calmed down. Was security intense? We had our regular security. It wasn't like anything else. It wasn't, you know, everything was good.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Like, I mean, the game's mom was there. Like, it was still, it was very much like. And I'm sure people knew what they were showing up for. People brought their kids. The game's son was there. You know what I mean? Like, and people I had known for a long time were there. Like, it was youngest, the baby?
Starting point is 00:40:10 Not the baby. Like, I think that was his son. Game has a bunch of kids, though. Rassan, yes. We saw a big boy come out. Yeah, big boy popped out. We also heard them look for you. Yeah, I was in the back getting the radio studio ready for rap life review and then when I came back, they had moved on.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Okay, okay, okay. What were they looking for Ebro for it? Now, they just said, you know, Ebro's in town and then I think, oh, Ebo's back on the rest coast? Ebro come out. Yeah, that was it. But he knew I was there. Like, I had already saw. So they just put, guys, it was just sent him to take.
Starting point is 00:40:42 A story that was moving around, though, is that YG almost missed the verses because he was detained hours before while law enforcement executed a search warrant. tied to a murder investigation, which I guess he addressed on stage. But cops were basically executing the search warrant connected to Drake Yield, the ruler's murder investigation. And the property that was searched was connected to YG. But of course, he denied any involvement in it. And he was released and he made it. Yeah, it wasn't even close.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Like, it wasn't even like he had, he was there at like noon. Relax and chilling. But the, this happened. I think this happened at like six or seven o'clock in the morning. It did feel weird that it was like day of the event. It felt random when I saw it that day, knowing the event was happening. I've always told rappers, you know, whatever your extracurriculars are, especially like in New York and L.A.
Starting point is 00:41:36 And your affiliations, et cetera. When you have a big event, the police love to get their own marketing out of these rappers. True. Sure, sure. So if you got something going on and you're getting big promo, police and you're from a certain neighborhood the police love being able to look like you know we're shutting down these bad guys these rappers you see us and they get a little press out of it like this yeah so they got a little press off yg now the the the the drachio murder draco murder is how old
Starting point is 00:42:08 five years six years no draco's like yeah three four years already three four years why j has a song on his album about it about the whole about his version of the goings-on he's like guys i didn't have nothing to do with this like why Why would I want to be a part of this? And I'm out here making money. I think at the event where it took place... Damn, it is five years. December 21.
Starting point is 00:42:26 I think at the event where it took place, YG was performing that day. He's like, why would I be involved in this? But once again, when you're affiliated with this thing or that thing or this neighborhood, this stuff happens. We see this all the time. So... In other news, Chris Brown was in court after pleading guilty to attacking a music producer in a London nightclub.
Starting point is 00:42:47 Now, this happened three years ago. So he pleaded guilty to a criminal charge of a fray in London. So I guess an afraid charge under British law is defined as using threatening physical violence in a public setting that would cause a person to fear for their life. So by changing his plea deal to guilty for the charge, I guess now British prosecutors drop several more serious charges that were against him. They dropped charges that included assault, attempting to cause. grievous bodily harm intent so now the offense carries a maximum penalty up to three years in prison so he's free on six million dollar bail agreement right now but he has to go back for a formal sentencing October 26 and so what what do we the headline I saw was this
Starting point is 00:43:41 had something to do with him about to miss some shows well because people were saying like oh my god he's going to miss some shows if some you know if he actually goes to if he were sentenced right but louis that is that yeah how realistic is that right everyone doesn't know it's realistic it sounds like a great cool a cool story bro why do why are you so sure it's just uh nothing well no i'm not i just don't think he's going to jail and i don't think he's going to miss shows i don't know what else is going to happen after that i just don't think he's going to jail and i don't think he's missing show you think they're just going to hit him with a hefty fine a hefty fine or whatever some sort of deal but i don't think
Starting point is 00:44:16 he's going to jail you know can you imagine how much more peaceful Chris Brown's life would be if he didn't have like some sort of something every couple years. Yeah. Like whether it's a fight or a breakup of someone and he just feels like he hasn't ever been able to fully, fully be removed from nonsense. Not yet. Not yet.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Yeah. It's stressful. That's stressful. Did you guys talk about the new Black Panther? I did not. No, because it happened over the weekend. Comic-Con. So David Johnson is officially entering them our.
Starting point is 00:44:48 universe as to Chalas Sun. I like this. We have some still. Here we go. Look on stage. Now where do I know David Johnson from? I was trying to figure out too. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Is he brand new? I've seen his face for sure. So the sequel is set to arrive in theaters December 15th, 2028. We're calling it a sequel. It's a third one. Is his third a sequel? Yeah, it's another sequel.
Starting point is 00:45:14 What do you mean? I wasn't sure. I always thought sequel was two. I didn't know what three was called. Well, sequence. No, yeah, I hear you. I just didn't know. I was really asking.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Yeah, it's now a trilogy, but it's still a sequel. Well, a trilogy would just mean, yeah, like it was the third. Yeah. Shout to David Johnson, though. He's, uh, let's see. Do you see what else he's known for? Yeah. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Alien Romulus. The Long Walk. Yeah, he's been doing his thing, though. Yeah, yo, Comic-Con was like on fire this week. It was his active a Comic-Con. No, but this one Every year. Just say your Algo. For me this year, I guess the combo of different, the wrestling stuff always hits my
Starting point is 00:46:04 algorithm. Yeah. But they, between this being big news, the Black Panther, I know Griffith's site because the Rock announced another Black Adam. So, oh. The Rock is back. There was just like so many, one thing after another kept hitting my algorithm. I never saw.
Starting point is 00:46:22 the first blackout ghost writer ghostwriter that was a big thing too yeah that was Ryan Gosling is oh that was the Ryan Gosling all right all right all right it was a lot was what about Ryan Reynolds do you have anything yes he showed up see Ryan Reynolds I knew it big Ryan Coogler Ryan Reynolds the Ryan Ryan Gosseling saving private Ryan they were all there now Laura are you are you covering my latest beef in your where you have beef just looked on Twitter popping off right now I didn't even know Want to restart the rundown or you want to do a different? Start it from the top, Ebro, it's big. Run down, turn that up.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Got to catch up, Laura. But you know what we haven't hit in a while, though. This sounds like it's some. Hold on to your speakers. Laura never goes low. When they go low, she goes high. No, she never go. Yeah, she never goes to them.
Starting point is 00:47:17 So what's happening in these internet streets? Why? So yesterday. I saw a post from the NBA is Kyle Kuzma. And I say the NBA, because I truthfully until just the second when I checked on Wikipedia, thought he was a wizard. But apparently he was now a buck. He's a buck now. He's a runner now.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I don't know, but he's a buck now. Okay. Anyways, pull that clip up again. Ebro, you want to read it? Let's see here. This is 2025. People cause... You're already off to a bedster.
Starting point is 00:47:45 This is 2020. It's small. Let's see here. People are cosplay as things. they don't have the authority, the talent, or the track record to actually be, just for content. Okay.
Starting point is 00:47:58 A mayor playing president, a founder playing operator. A content creator playing one-on-one thinking he's a pro. A 25-year-old with a ringlight playing economist. Yo, Ebro, struggling to read. Everyone auditioning. His site? I can't.
Starting point is 00:48:19 My site is not. Sight is bananas. We're all blind. And then this light is not helping me. Everybody auditioning, nobody building. We're raising a generation that learning the reward isn't doing the thing. It's in looking like you did the thing. The clip is the career.
Starting point is 00:48:37 The pose is the product. The sound bite is the substitute for a life's work. Don't fall for distractions. And then he posts Mom Donnie's Netanyu speech. Okay. So he doesn't agree with the speech. Yeah, apparently he doesn't agree with the speech and decided to give an entire spiel saying that Mom Doni is a complete fraud
Starting point is 00:48:59 where anyone who lives here knows that the mayor is absolutely mayoring. So I don't know why this annoyed me, but it did. Okay. Who is Kyle? Who are you random NBA Joe Blow who at the time I thought was still on the wizard? I mean, he's an NBA champion in 2020. He's an NBA all rookie football. First team, 2018.
Starting point is 00:49:19 None of those things lead to I should listen to you about New York mayoral politics. So I said, do you have my thing? Bro, bro, you are truly beyond your depth. Just go be 16 and 21 and call it a day. Now, I should note, I thought he was on the Wizards when I said, just go be 21 and 61. On the bucks, I think he should be like 35 and 37. So let's have a different kind of conversation. And then so I just went on today
Starting point is 00:49:49 I forgot that this happened Okay And then I just went on I saw I had a lot of mentions And he said the following to me Okay, what he's like? That one I don't know What the fuck are we doing?
Starting point is 00:50:02 Oh man, fail All right, well just pull it up Read it, read it, what do he say to him? What's the response? This was the home run He said to me Uh-huh This is not polite by the way
Starting point is 00:50:15 I just want everybody to know He was mean to you? I think it was mean. You were mean first. It should be noted. It's like when you called me a bitch first. No, you were, that's not, that's a bad comp. You were being mean first.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I just used mean words. I wasn't being mean first. Lies. I wasn't. You, you still think I was being mean first when I said you didn't have money to invest? Could we not do this? What are you doing this again? Did you find the reply?
Starting point is 00:50:42 Yeah, yeah. He said, I speak on my own platform. You speak when. Ebro let you speak. Oh, wow. To which I just want to say, congratulations to Kyle Coosba. Didn't know he owned Twitter.
Starting point is 00:50:56 This is big. I didn't know Coos and Elon Musk. They might be in Cohoots. Linked up to own Twitter. So, yeah, so now there you have it. I'm in it with Kyle Coosma. Yo. Are you excited?
Starting point is 00:51:11 Not really. I like that Kyle Coosma cares about things in the world. You're just. Completely wrong. Like why? And by the way, let me ask you. Let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 00:51:21 With money got to Kyle Kuzma and are like, he's a bad guy. Because why are you coming after him on the Netanyahu statement? He actually admitted, I don't have the authority to do this. But I'm telling you, because my voters had wanted me to do this. I'm telling you I can't.
Starting point is 00:51:38 But I looked into it and he's not welcome here. But maybe he doesn't like Mom Donnie because Mom Donnie's, like you said, mom Donnie's anti, you know, Israel's government, anti Netanyahu and anti... Well, that's what it jumps out to me as. So I just wonder, why is Kyle Kuzma? What's his issue with those beliefs?
Starting point is 00:51:57 Maybe somebody's, maybe somebody close to him is close to Israel's important to them. Maybe he is. I don't know. I don't know. Well, let me ask you this. Either way you sound like a dumb. But let me ask you this. You don't sound like you're informed.
Starting point is 00:52:08 But let me ask you this. Why, just like me saying to you, you don't have money to invest. And you being like you're being a dick. Yeah. When he made his comment. Right? Why didn't you say you're not informed? I live in New York City.
Starting point is 00:52:21 He's doing a great job. You're right. That would have been a better statement. You insulted first. You're right. You're right. Now, I don't like the comp to yours because you were still being an a-on.
Starting point is 00:52:29 I wasn't. No, stop. Again, we're not doing this again. Everybody. And that's why you're smiling. The world spoke. And they were like,
Starting point is 00:52:37 can I tell you something about the world speaking on money to invest? They don't have it either. No, because they don't know. If you're intentionally using a phrase that the person who's talking, to you doesn't understand and you continue to repeat it because you know it's bothering them but that's only once you it started bothering that was for entertainment yeah but that's still pre
Starting point is 00:52:54 that was pre-bitch yeah but it shouldn't have but it shouldn't have bothered i didn't know the phrase and you did and so you but if you had money to invest you wouldn't that's the whole point that's the crux of the whole thing that was all pre-bitch and that was the point you're right though you're not wrong that what me saying that but i'm like why are you talk it's not my business because he has an opinion that's all because it's not my business but he's talking down to to someone who I admire and think is doing a great job in my city. You're right. It's not the most effective form of communicating, but back to the world that we're living in,
Starting point is 00:53:25 would he have paid attention even if I hadn't said, he may have. Maybe, maybe. He may have because you're you and he knows you, which is why he responded, because he wants to smoke. He only, trust me, he's a, that's fair. He's popular enough to know, oh, I know this guy. He knew me. Right.
Starting point is 00:53:44 So he knows. So he knows the show. Correct. No, so maybe you're right, so that it wasn't a good way to go. Now, I like what you said, and I would have done something similar, but just asking. No, no, but your point is accepted. By the way, my dad, my dad and I had a really good conversation about Mom Donnie the Netanyahu thing this weekend.
Starting point is 00:53:59 My parents were in town for a little birthday hang, and I said to my dad, I was like, was the Netanyahu thing really smart? Like, it just feels like now all he's going to be is talking about this further. But I think he wants to. So I asked him. I said, I was just asking the question. I said, was it really? like a good idea. Now, full disclosure, my dad is so, I mean, the man has three different color
Starting point is 00:54:20 momdani shirts. He's biased. We can't say he's completely unbiased on mom d'ani. But my dad is also much smarter politically than I am. So he was like, he said it made all the sense in the world for him to do it because it shows his base that he is going to stick by the things he wants to do. And he needs to do that on this one where there's really no negative. of ramifications. The people who hate him will continue to hate him and hate him more, and the people who love him will love him more. But he also has a lot of work and negotiating to do in other places. And this gives him cachet in one area where he has to play ball. There's other things like New York real estate and other places. He's going to play ball and do things that
Starting point is 00:55:10 people in his base are like, oh no, why are you doing that? You have to do some of the things. you really said you were going to stick by because you can't be successful as mayor and not negotiate on other things. Yeah, yeah, you gotta do it. But this is a smart one for him to stick on because it's who he is. And it's what he's always been.
Starting point is 00:55:28 I don't think Mom Donnie has ever said that he is like against business or businesses or real estate doing business in New York. Matter of fact, I've heard him say he wanted to make it easier. Yeah, but he's still going to have to shake hands with people that people in his base are like, how could you do that?
Starting point is 00:55:46 because they don't get the big picture of what he's trying to do. Just like people come after AOC now, every time she does something that is remotely meeting someone somewhere. Yeah. Anyways. And then I saw a clip of Sid Rosenberg.
Starting point is 00:55:59 I need to disavow this man, Sid Rosenberg. We are not related. The name Rosenberg is the 600th most popular last name in America. Okay, if that's why you guys were bringing up last names. Oh, right. My dad had just brought this up to me. So there are a lot of Rosenberg. 600's not that high on the list, but it's not that low on the list either.
Starting point is 00:56:19 I'm not related to this man. He is an Islamophob of the highest order. He went on Fox News yesterday calling Mom Donnie a terrorist. Yeah, he's disgusting. He's a disgusting red-faced freak who just happens to have my name. Now, listen, he's jacked to the gills. He could beat me to a pulp. He won't catch me, but he would.
Starting point is 00:56:40 But he is a bigoted, disgusting person. who does not represent the ideals of the Jewish faith at all. He's a buddy of Netanyahu, and he has the nerve to call Mom Donnie a terrorist. Mom Doni a terrorist, a nerd politician who has only seemed to want to include people and be a good person while he buddies up with war criminals. So maybe his standard is not up to snuff,
Starting point is 00:57:05 but I just can't see someone with mine. Someone came up to me recently was like, Sid Rosenberg. Oh, no. No. I swear to God. I was there with four. Keith McPherson at the at fanatics and he was like you know you look familiar I was like I looked at Keith he's like no bro that's insane I was like you're just seeing people no you're
Starting point is 00:57:23 associating the name Rosenberg but you don't quite know so no that is a bad Rosenberg oh you're like hit me with Paul Roseberg wait but what Paul's all please that's that's the guy that's the guy I just will say like your response to because Rosenberg had left an emoji a clapping emoji for mom Donnie speech oh boy and I just you know I felt spicy when we talked about you going at people. Starting point is 01:00:15 And if you see a post purchase survey, make sure that you tell them you heard about cozy earth from us. So I have, did you guys know I have a T-shirt addiction? Worse than me and Loras? Well, like a white tea te-chat. Where if I see a company selling like a good white tea. You see, let me give this a show. I have to buy it because I feel like I'm a white tea kind of a fissioner. Yeah, you are.
Starting point is 01:00:39 And if you buy one and you like you, you buy it like a dozen? Yeah, and then I'll, you know, I'll get rid of older ones and, you know, because sometimes brands, they roll out like a t-shirt. And then it gets popular. And then to like make money, they start changing little things about the t-shirt and the shirt gets cheaper. And you're like, y'all got y'all haveed up now. So I'm going into this cozy earth. What's it called the all-day tea? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Here it is. All-day tea. First thing that popped up. There we go. It looks, it's got a good neckline. Ooh. Hold up. You see, the silhouettes mean, mean silhouette.
Starting point is 01:01:15 I'm big on a silhouette. You always need a good base. Oh, look, look, look, look. It even has the seam on the side. That's how you know it's a real good one. You see that, Laura? Oh, boy. The side seam where it's not just like a,
Starting point is 01:01:28 like they actually contoured it to the body, the fit is good. Ebro, are you more, do you think you're more hooked on the white tea than I'm currently hooked on the summer knit? The summer knit, you're in. No. Natalie went crazy the other day for my birthday She went to the same spot that we always go
Starting point is 01:01:46 Okay, it's an outlet by the way So everything's pretty cheap And she just I swear to God she bought every last knit I hadn't already bought everyone she was like yeah Looked at that considered it looked at it considered it I'm really all the way in with the summer Well because I also think you're feeling like I can rock these in the fall But that's what that to me is the angle
Starting point is 01:02:03 It's like yeah I'm taking these definitely up till I need long sleeve Yeah at least October I like it The summer knit energy's happy I like that. Shouts to Cozy Earth though. Head over to Cozy Earth right now. I'm buying, you guys, I'm going to buy. He's really buying it right now.

Starting point is 01:02:32 What? Out of, you know, the blacks are out of stop. No. What's really good. Someone beat you to it. Someone copped all of them. Wait a minute. Stone Heather.
Starting point is 01:02:44 That's a nice color with Stone Heather. All right, all right, all right. Hang on, Laura Stow. Use our code, man. 20% off is clean. Let's get to the gurus. Hey, yo, it's time for the gurus. Rosenberg.
Starting point is 01:02:56 You know, you are a beautiful queen. Ebro. Don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru. No, that's how I know these shirts. It's John Blaze. You know how I know? Right now, I'm buying a cozy earth white.

Because all I have is a quick congrats right now. Send your emails right now to the guru, the original gurus at gmail.com. The original gurus at gmail.com.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Peter Rosenberg, please hit yourself with the button. Yeah. Talk to us. Uh-oh. You can play yourself. Go back and read the first line of my email. It reads,
Starting point is 01:03:42 Hi, my name is Bob Doe, but if you are to pick this email, please make up a name or don't use it because I want to stay anonymous. But since you decided to use that AI ball-ish to summarize my email, you outed me, son. My real name is Bob Doe.
Starting point is 01:04:04 Oh no, you thought it was a fake name. I thought it was a play on John Doe. Me too. It sounded like a made-up name. I thought too. We all thought that was the made-up name, my guy. Poor Bob. Oh, man, Bob.
Starting point is 01:04:18 So he said, my real name is Bob Doe. He said, or at least that's my artist's name. I make music in Denver. Luckily, my identity being in the story wasn't important. I was actually trying to save theirs. Ha-ha. Anyways, thank you for reading my email and check out my latest song, at least for playing yourself.
Starting point is 01:04:38 So we have to check out. Bob Doe from Denver's music. Bob. All right, here we go. Oh, Bob. Sorry, Bob. Damn, my bad. Hit me with the button, too.
Starting point is 01:04:47 How do you spelling Doe? D-O-E? I think it's D-O-E. Okay, okay, okay. We're looking at Bob Doe. There's a Bob Doe here. Okay. I found it.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Is the song single No Time? Let me see what he sent me. The one that he sent me is called. No time. Yep. All right, here we go. Bob Doe. Shout to Bob Doe.
Starting point is 01:05:14 Bob Doe. My bad Bob. That's A.I's fault. That's why you should trust AI. I. Infancy, gone, can't dream. Hard cold, niggas, his whole team. Wake up.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Wake up. Okay. I don't know what you been on, but we been getting paid. I ain't tripping because I really like the hate. But I can't let you throw no smut up on my name. Things change. Ain't a stranger to the game. Niggas hate Bob and throw shame.
Starting point is 01:05:42 Bob's... They hate Bob? Smoking on that gas. Oh my soul blow cold bang I don't know it's damn too soon Tell a nigga eating cuz a nigga gain weight what can I say I like Kay you look comfy being bro we not the same hell now real life tell me what it feels like Stuck on the internet it feels like we can't see the lies what it feel like What a time to be a life what it feels like almost trying to pick a side what it feels like
Starting point is 01:06:12 I can't let it slide what it feels like That's what it feels like I can't let it slide What it feels like I can't let it slide Tell me how you feel Don't make me wait Uh huh
Starting point is 01:06:23 I don't have no time for the fake shit All right I'm waiting for it to go somewhere I don't go nowhere It's cool Oh hit you with it It's cool It's cool
Starting point is 01:06:34 You got the Swedish I'll give you this I give him this I give him this I give him I hear like there's some good hooks in there. That might be his strength. His strength might be hooks.
Starting point is 01:06:47 Yeah, I don't hate the hook. The hooks might be something. But I don't feel like the song actually... Once it starts, it basically just stays right there. I also... Denver rap. Wait, don't do that. Who said that?
Starting point is 01:06:59 You don't know about Denver. And by the way, Denver's a great rap to. I can't name any rappers from Denver. No, they got a dope hip-hop. But they have a dope scene, though, for sure. And I'll say this, Bob, though, too. work on your voice like you sound like
Starting point is 01:07:15 you could be a lot of different artists and that's one of the things like look everybody you can have a tremendous success Bob Doe being you and moving around Denver and doing shows and building your fan base you can have tremendous success but over time
Starting point is 01:07:31 and by the way when I say voice I don't just mean perspective I mean the actual texture of your sound some people like it in the chat Yeah, no, it's good. That wasn't bad. It was cool.
Starting point is 01:07:42 Stop, stop. Stop. It's like money to invest. When you keep saying it's cool, it's cool over and over again. We know what you mean. We've seen the videos. No, no, no, but I thought Suiti that day it was cool. It was cool. It wasn't great.
Starting point is 01:07:53 It wasn't good. Right, it was cool. It was cool. I'm not, when I say it's cool, I'm not. If I thought it was bad, I would say, no, that ain't it. That's fair. That's fair. That's fair.
Starting point is 01:08:01 That's fair. Cool. It's cool. That was really good feedback. That's the music guru. He ended up getting feedback, whether he asked for it or not. Thank you, Bob Doe. Appreciate you, my G.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Let's go. Get out of here. Outro time. That was a show, Monday show. LeBron James is going to the Philadelphia 76. Can you believe it? Ain't that about a bitch. He really wants to send the Eastern Conference into a tailspin, doesn't it?
Starting point is 01:08:28 Well, I think he wanted a place where he could win a championship. I think he wanted some place where it would be exciting. Because him going to Miami or Cleveland, let's be honest, wouldn't have gotten nearly the talk this got. This got way more chattered. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a bigger market. They haven't won it almost as long as the Knicks.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Right. Well, 83. It's still a long time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, and they could win. And they already put pieces in play. I mean, that's why he went. He's not going to Philly respectfully if Jalen Brown isn't it Philly.
Starting point is 01:08:55 Well, he took a minimum. He took a minimum. Oh, he wants to go. Now, wait, time out. We'll do the intro again. Outro. Outro. Or outro again.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Why do you think LeBron is still playing in your mind? somebody with as much as he's achieved, what do you think the real motivation is right now? Because why are you still on talking about? I haven't figured that out. And once I figure it out, it may change. But I think it's similar. I think this is what I do.
Starting point is 01:09:22 It's what I've done since I was a baby. Right. And what am I doing after this? Yeah, I like doing the other stuff. LeBron is no longer a top five player, but he's absolutely a top 25 player. So why would you not want to contribute? If you could be among the 25 best players in the world still
Starting point is 01:09:38 And maybe be the piece that leads a team to a championship Why would you rush retirement? And there is a piece too. I could say this for the old heads There is a piece where you want to get up every morning and do something. Yeah. Right? Just going to sit down and do nothing is not an option, right?
Starting point is 01:09:55 Like because that's how you literally start to like lose your mind. Like both like dementia like your body stops working when you stop being active. Like when you stop having goals to achieve And things you want to work on, your body will break down. And the other things, the, you know, producing, the film, the tell. I'm sure it's all cool. It's like that song for you. It's cool.
Starting point is 01:10:16 It's cool. But he sat there, LeBron went to the Jay Z shows and was there like super into it. I mean like, damn, it's so cool. Hove gets to go do this. And, you know, in basketball, once you're done, there's no like you come back five years later. Yeah, you become a coach maybe or you become. Maybe. But you can't even do it.
Starting point is 01:10:34 is doing where you just come back like hey I'm going to give it a shot I get to go be in the tournament I might lose I might win one right you don't get to do that so why would you rush out the door especially if you're healthy he's healthy and he's still good and you know this season um he'll be a lot of a so I went and looked at the assist leaders he can become number two assist leader this year he could beat Chris Paul that's crazy I think he's like like was it 300 assists from Chris Paul That's that's another. I think it was the number I saw.
Starting point is 01:11:07 I got to go look at it. I doubt it's that. But he is. He loves a marker on a stat sheet. Sure. And he has a lot of them. So to, 500 behind.
Starting point is 01:11:16 500 behind Chris Paul. And he'll be number two. Catching John Stockton is like 1,500, right? It's crazy. 15,000. No, no, no. He's behind them. He's behind 3,000.
Starting point is 01:11:30 3,000 behind John Stockton. Not getting that. But he could be the number one all-time scoring leader. Yeah. number two all-time assists when this is done, potentially get another championship run. He doesn't have to be the leading scorer on this team. He can get assists all night.
Starting point is 01:11:45 He truly gets to sit back on this team and just be what he needs to be and help bring them, like their identity is completely changed. They're a brand new team. And he gets to help now be a part of what that identity is, how we practice. And there's a team, they haven't been able to take that step. And he gets to live in New York City if you want.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Well, I think he's going to. The word is he's going to. I don't love LeBron's going to take a helicopter to work. I don't love that headline for obvious reasons. Which, oh, I hear you. But by the way, also, he doesn't have to do that. No, he doesn't. But that was one of the headlines I saw.
Starting point is 01:12:21 But like, you know how easily, though, that you just have a driver drive? It's not a big of deal. A couple hours. You stretch out and you get on your phone and you do some stuff. And you could do back and more, not a big deal. So, it's honestly, it's exciting. Like as a Celtics fan who hates the Jalen Browns fan. Maybe he'll get like a big, a big, like ranch.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Yo, LeBron, you could buy Mad Land and like Central Jersey on a lake somewhere. You know what I mean? And have like a big. I think that defeats the purpose though. He wants to be in Manhattan. Got it to be in Manhattan. You know? It's nice.
Starting point is 01:12:51 You know a guy. If he's interesting. No, it's nice. You have an option. Even just the other side of the bridge or tunnel makes it a little easy. You know what I mean? Or, yeah. Maybe we should get Kyle Kuzma on the show if he wants to talk politics so much.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Much. Chit-Chap. You want to have Kyle Kuzma. Why not? I didn't know he was so into things. I don't, from what he wrote, it doesn't seem like he's that into it. But I went and looked at his page. Oh, he's got, he's got thoughts on everything. Really?
Starting point is 01:13:17 Like what? Just saw more different, you know, political, cultural, socio-economic, you know? Well, I'll leave this with Kyle Kuzma. You're critiquing Mom Donnie while the president of the United States is currently who we have. Are you critiquing that individual the same way? Because that person is truly, truly, truly, truly everything you wrote about. Cosplaying, not really qualified, everything you said, the actual President of the United States, but you're just focused on the mayor of New York.
Starting point is 01:13:56 So I'll leave that with you. Coos. You were mean, though, first. It should be known. You know what? I take a bell. I'm sorry. Just don't call in a pod.
