Starting point is 00:00:00 Just don't call in a podcast. The Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg, show. Well, excuse me, Lou, we're live, what you said? Hi. Yeah, Ebro show. Laura and Roseberg. Nice. There's a lot of shows, bro.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Got a lot of show. No, this is the free one. This is your volunteer one. This is my side quest, the Ebro-Laura-R-Lora-Roseberg show. Don't get confused. Yeah, you know what I mean? You won't get confused when you go to the mailbox. Yo, we got a lot of things on the docket today to cover.
Starting point is 00:00:40 A lot of Trump, some Stephen A, some Cardi B. FIFA. Oh, no. What are you doing, FIFA? I expect more. The most corrupt sports organization on planet Earth is doing corrupt things or things that people are deeming corrupt. I don't know. what to make of it.
Starting point is 00:01:01 I'm really excited about this new movie trailer. I just found a watch history in my Instagram. Oh, got it. There is a watch history. Really? Where was it? Deep in there, because now they have mad settings and like deep in the settings,
Starting point is 00:01:15 there's a watch history. Okay, go in there. And this is going to be embarrassed. Like, I'm going to be disgusted to see how many things I saw yesterday. I don't even want to see it. Well, I wonder how they quantify watch history.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Is it just something you stopped on? Is it something you engaged with? Like, how are they quantifying what you watched? Go look at the watch history. Okay. It's probably you had to spend a certain amount of time on it. Knowing your Instagramming habits, there was cleavage. No, that's actually become all my Twitter.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Oh, my Instagram now is like all politics. Well, so Twitter you can't really trust, right? Because I don't watch. Oh, no, Twitter, Twitter, you can trust at all. I don't watch like fight videos. But I'll be looking at something that has no. Nothing to do with any violence. It'll be, you know, National Geographic about some, you know, prairie dogs and, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:09 their life finding dens to say safe or something. And then the next video is people fighting in the street. I'm like, how'd I get it? Right, right, right. Okay, I think I found the one I was looking for. Some of these, though, are, I don't really remember watching. So there you go. So it's anything that goes past your algorithm.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I'm putting this in the chat. if you guys want to put that video in. Also, do you guys go with my segment idea that I had yesterday? I don't anyone responded to it. Which one? You look nuts? I didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I missed this. Do we include it? I didn't see you look nuts. Come on, you guys. Louis, you responded to you look nuts. One of you guys responded. We didn't put the video in either. Do we have an intro for you look nuts?
Starting point is 00:02:49 I thought, just to be. Go ahead, go off. I feel you. No, I'm not gonna go off. I think you should go off. I occasionally, occasionally at my moments where I miss stuff, but I do try. try to treat our chat like if it's in there.
Starting point is 00:03:03 It's official. It's basically official. Or at least it should. Or at least there should be an assback of, hey, do we really want this? That's right. That's right. And I have to say yesterday, the way my day ran after Laura, well, because you were in Connecticut swamped with ESP and stuff.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Yeah. Laura and I were here. And then we had, here's why Kevin. Yesterday. Yes. And then something happened. I'm guessing you did Patreon. No.
Starting point is 00:03:34 No. No, we didn't even get to do Patreon yet. No Patreon? Patreon. No, Patreon? We're going live? Live Patreon. In vivo.
Starting point is 00:03:42 That was in there too? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So if you're a Patreoner, you get a live episode today. That's fun. That's almost worth signing up for. There you go.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Then, um. Oh, Griff put it in here this morning at 720. Um, yeah, because I attempted to write up a schedule that was invalid. Um, but, um, at any rate, I wasn't on the gram a lot yesterday. I couldn't, I couldn't, or in my text a lot. I was dealing with a bunch of other work stuff. Okay. So, um, what is you look nuts?
Starting point is 00:04:17 It was inspired by the Hassan Piker video the other day originally. By his outfit. Yeah, but the real. And I, and Hassan, we need, can, uh, Griff, can you reach out? So we get to, we need to interview him about his. attire we need to have a combo what message is you trying to send with these outfits but this but the inspiration yesterday was this video you can you can zoom in on me no we have it we have it you have it i would just ask you which one there is oh oh thank you so this is i want to say respectfully
Starting point is 00:04:44 to a legend but i don't care i don't i'm sorry you look nuts run the picture run the video of meli meli you got to say i'm sorry you look at right hip hop uh diaspora think he's one of the greatest rappers technically no i listen he's saying all these things about m&M and mn M and not being one of the greats and like he's a great rapper but he's not one of the greats. We know Melly Mell and Mennon. Who cares? Yo, Melly Mell. Those who change the land.
Starting point is 00:05:08 You can cut right to me now, I'll ask him. Yo, Melly Mell, the two halves of a mustache with nothing in the middle, you look nuts. What is going on? Can we go back to a still? First of all, I can't co-sign any disrespect to Mellie Mellie Mellon. You are gutless. I can't do it. You are gutless.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Spineless, gutless individual. right now. I think he's going for Kung Fu. Do you think he he's going for does you do I do that does he shave it? Maybe that's how his hair grows there. But if that's how your hair grows, guess what that means? No mustache. That's what that means. I say that as someone who's had a struggle beard. I'm using products. I'm doing all the things. Struggle be. Everyone has to do so my man, you look nuts. I just I, I, you know, you know I struggle to disrespect an elder. It's not disrespect. He's melly malle.
Starting point is 00:05:59 He's iconic. He's super important. But then we're doing the... Nah, the braided... The braid in the middle with... Look, look. No, yo, bro. I really hope you got...
Starting point is 00:06:12 I'm a friend. I'm apparently his best friend. No, no, no. Even when we had... We were showing Shan the other week. Remember he was... MC Shan was up here and he had... And I love the clip, but he looked nuts.
Starting point is 00:06:23 No, people look nuts out here. I couldn't do it. We need to tell people we love if they look nuts. I'm sorry. And Melly Meli Mell could, I understand he could still right now, I think Mellie's probably in his early 60s, could beat me to a pulp. There's no question. I hope he doesn't. But no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:06:47 So do you like what do you like it as a segment idea? Are you going to be scared? But if you're going to be gutless, we can't do it. No, no, no, no. So they have to be younger than us? No, no, it's just like I can't, you know, Melly Mell and Mpsy shit? Like you won't be on camera Saying something about Melly Maliket?
Starting point is 00:07:03 We can't be so precious These are our heroes, sure They're in our world though We're all here We're all in this world 844 ELR ELR ELR3 Am I out of lines
Starting point is 00:07:13 With my inability You're not 12 anymore Bro Yo, we're all adults We have to always Let's stop, stop Oh man I think Kung Fu Matt
Starting point is 00:07:27 Who said Kung Fu Master? I was I said I think he was going Kung Fu. It's giving, it's giving it's giving. It's given, yeah, it's given $2 movie times where. The chat is saying the same thing. Kung Fu master.
Starting point is 00:07:38 And guess what? A lot of those guys look nuts. It's given five deadly better. Now, can we show Hassan Piker? Because he's the true origin of the, do you still have that clip in there? Hilarious. This was Hassan Piker with Medi Hassan
Starting point is 00:07:50 in their Hassan-only conversation. Hassan versus Hassan. We took it out. Oh, we took it out. And he was wearing some military, style jacket that looked nuts. It looked like some real Stalin era. It was giving, you know, very, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:09 1940s Russia. It was so, yeah, it was, it was communism. It was a decision. And I think that's what he's trying to convey, like he's trolling people. You know, because the, the whole fear of the democratic socialist movement. Oh, whoops. I said Democratic Socialism
Starting point is 00:08:31 The whole fear I think that's his He thinks it's funny now Because instead of people like learning What Democratic Socialism is And actually they're so afraid of the word Socialism They just throw out words like communist
Starting point is 00:08:48 So the other day They're good at that I think we still have the clip Where is it? There was a Trump Somebody was screaming at Trump Do we still have that in here? where he was like
Starting point is 00:09:01 anyway somebody I don't know if we still have the clip I don't see it on the oh yeah clip 11 go to 11 oh hey I haven't seen them but now all of that is changing because I place historic tariffs on foreign producers
Starting point is 00:09:19 and manufacturers including a 25% tariff on foreign automobile something that no other president had the courage to ever do so someone is yelling pedophile protector over and over
Starting point is 00:09:38 he's a communist he's a communist he's a communist because he's yelling out pedophile protection yeah that's old school going straight to communists that smile when he gets that smile he's a communist we're running against
Starting point is 00:09:53 communist now this is great so to the high to the Hassan piker outfit I think there's this word you know in Hassan piker's world of like trolling and yeah maybe he's just leaning He's leaning into like Pete this whole like he's a communist.
Starting point is 00:10:08 They're a communist. They're all communist. Well, listen, I like the explanation. But guess where it's still going to land you? You look niz. You look nuts. By the way, and we can, you know, we can have
Starting point is 00:10:20 throwbacks with us, certainly. I'm all up in you. Look at my hat. I think we all have that. Nah, the hat's not on quite a lot. It's kind of looks nuts. No, we have old stuff that we can find for all of us. Facts.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Old chopsticks teeth over here. Yeah. She's a new look nuts. It's a true. I look nuts. I remember. I have all my throwbacks. I look nuts.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Facial hair, bad. Bad. I, I, I, I, I, I, well, regular hair. You even, you even. No, but the worst part was. And, and this is when I don't know who I should be mad. I know how Ebro feels about it, but like, I don't know who I should be mad at. My ex-wife for not telling me the truth or myself for being that bad while attempting to be married.
Starting point is 00:11:00 It would be yourself. Can I tell you why? Because I had it. It was. it was shaved, but I would let it grow into like, here. I remember this convoy. No, I do too. Where I said, why are you doing that?
Starting point is 00:11:12 And you told me it's because my wife liked it. And I said, well, she's lying to you. Oh my God, you guys had an intervention? No, he tried. No, he definitely tried. I was like, why are you doing that? And I look at pictures and I'm like, it was like there's some hair there. But like, it's not, it's insane.
Starting point is 00:11:26 It's truly nuts. It took so many years. Honestly, at one point, did you decide? All right, I got to let it go. Well, no, I had all, but I had, but below you have to understand, I'd already shaved it. So, like, I shaved it, but I hadn't, I'd still let it, like, be somewhat that. It was, it was not. And by the way, this part is annoying.
Starting point is 00:11:44 I just want to be clear, though. So my wife, Natalie got help get my issue together for sure. She'll take all the credit for it. She deserves some credit for it. Play that Beyonce upgrade you. Yeah, she really thinks she completely upgraded me. And she did, she did help in many ways. However, recently, Natalie had some cash in, in the apartment.
Starting point is 00:12:02 and I was like going to I was using it because I'm like if we have cash sitting around I'll use it when I want to get my hair cut. Okay. Very quickly she realized how annoying it is for me to keep my hair nice. Like she was like where do you keep going with my cash? I'm like yo it is expensive and time consuming to be a bald man who keeps your ish together. Right right right right right. It's a real pain in the ass. So but now I'm committed to it and I try my best so much so that I was walking down the street yesterday.
Starting point is 00:12:32 And right near my job, right near ESPN, there's a very foofy, Hollywoodish restaurant. Fofy? Yes. And I don't know who's in there. I can just tell there are people in there all the time. Do you want to say the name? No. A, I don't know the name.
Starting point is 00:12:44 And B, I don't need people to know exactly where I'm at. But it's a, it's a, I don't know, it's a little Italian spot, has a sit-down outside area. And there's just always people there. What do you say? Al Pacino. I've never seen them there, but it wouldn't surprise me. Anyways, yesterday I was walking over from there, walking right by there.
Starting point is 00:13:03 DeCaprio. And I saw our friend Gerard Carmichael there. Oh. Oh, yo, shout to Gerard Carmichael who I saw at the Jay-Z concerts. See, yeah, he was at the Jay-Z concerts and had a little chat. Anyways, he made such an emphasis of me looking good. Like, he did some sort of like, you look. You're trying to aisle at you.
Starting point is 00:13:23 No. He was just admiring you in that you look good. I'm just not out of line for a, a, uh, a, uh, a lot. A man who has openly attracted to other men. It's not out of line, but it's not what the comp. To me, I just took it as to have a fashionable Hollywood gay man be like, damn, you look like. I was like, okay. I guess I'm doing something.
Starting point is 00:13:47 All of that's great. So, but you guys are, you guys are trying to make me out to be the bad guy by saying he's trying to holl at you. Because I'm married. And I'm not his type. You don't know. How do you know what his type is? You guys talked about it? It was Tyler.
Starting point is 00:13:58 He did it on TV. It wasn't me. know what kind of shaped Tyler's in? Yeah, people have multiple types. True, true. Yeah, but just because it's a compliment doesn't mean someone's trying to holler at you.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Okay, well. Ebro says Gerard Car, Michael was trying to get with Rosenberg. All right, ladies, all right, ladies, when a guy walks up to you or even a woman walks up to you, and it's like, hey, you look nice today. You guys don't take that as like a...
Starting point is 00:14:20 I've given people compliments and I was not trying to holler at them. For sure. Me too. I'm just saying it doesn't rule it out. Okay, sure. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, no, he's giving you a word.
Starting point is 00:14:32 And I'm not saying. It doesn't rule it out, but also I definitely will see women at work back. Okay. And it's not me being like, okay. I'm like, oh, I see what I say? For sure. That's not. But it doesn't rule it out.
Starting point is 00:14:48 No, it's ruled out. It is ruled out. Okay, so if you responded to Gerard Carmichael, and he was like, yo, you look really nice to that. Well, you just changed it. You just made it way more. The tone has so much sauce in. You just added so much more sauce.
Starting point is 00:15:01 So how did you say? He was like, hey, you're looking good, man. So I'm like, it was. Oh, okay, okay. That's more nebulous. He wasn't like, you look good. Now. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I see you. Now, now, now. Do what Gerard Carole did. Do it. You don't. Hey, man. Hey, good to see you, blah, blah. All right, hey, we should rap.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Okay, cool, blah, blah. You know, all right. Hey, man, you look good. You look good. You look good, too. What if he said that? Or what if you said that back to him? You look good too.
Starting point is 00:15:34 He could have been like, all right, thanks. Sorry, bye. Yeah, he would have been like. Once again, once again. All right. Could have. Yeah, he would have like, so that's what I get for complimenting a straight guy. Could have.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Now he's gay. But that's what I'm saying. It doesn't rule it out is all I'm saying. It doesn't. You're not wrong, but you're wrong. But you're not right. But you're not right either. That's why I'm comfortable in that.
Starting point is 00:15:55 You spend a lifetime in that space. You know what I'm saying? Ladies and gentlemen. Gentlemen, in the rundown today, you got Cardi B. Yes, I guess. We talked about her new joint. We're going to play a small clip, but she had to clear some things up. Because, you know, the internet had words for her.
Starting point is 00:16:11 So we'll play all that. Well, that line does jump out. Well, and also, too, when did we, in our chat yesterday, we just, all of a sudden, everybody just started calling her Barty. Well, I just said it once and then Laura repeated it. So it sounded like, when did we just start calling Cardi Barty? Call her Barty. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I have called her Barty. Barty on many occasions. It's just once it's repeated, it sounds like we've made a decision. But I think Laura was just feeling festive. That's it. That's it. She was feeling Barty festive. There is a lot.
Starting point is 00:16:41 There is a lot, though. There's a lot there. Do you guys mention that the Eric B. enemy situation? We did not mention the Eric Bienerese situation. I heard it was his son. Shot his mother. His own mother.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yeah. Which is Eric Bienemy's wife. Yeah. But she did. not die. No, no. I think she's going to be a fine. She's going to be fine. But we don't know any more than that. No. No, it's just crazy. And then Kyle Shanahan, the coach of the 49ers. Car accident. Got into a car accident that he says is his fault. He wanted to come out and say it was his fault because the original preliminary report was there was a clerical error and they didn't have him at fault.
Starting point is 00:17:24 And he was like, I just want to be clear that I was at fault. And he almost lost his eye. It was like really bad. And he's young. This is a young man. And he, like, 40 stitches, broken things. Broken ribs. I just read the article last night. Broken ribs. Broken hand, I believe. Almost lost his eye.
Starting point is 00:17:45 And there was some other broken stuff. It was bad. And he said he dropped his phone between the seats and was trying to get it. I was just going to ask what happened. Bro, and then you know a few weeks ago that guy, Matt Millie. from ESPN.
Starting point is 00:18:02 His story's crazy. He's taking leave. Louis, you follow the story? I didn't follow that one. Griff, you followed this? No. None of you guys saw this? He took leave from ESPN.
Starting point is 00:18:13 He's a writer. He got into a really bad accident, lost his arm. Oh, my God. They had to take the arm. And there's video of the accident from the perspective of the car that he ran into.
Starting point is 00:18:28 and he like just veers into their lane. And you see them, the driver fortunately was being aware and like jumps out. So he only taps that person, but it sent him off pretty fast road. Lost his arm. Says he's going to take leave. Then he announces like, please look it up, Louie, because I don't want to get this wrong. but I believe then there was a go fund me. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:02 When the go fund me happened, people started coming out and being like, I'm not giving this guy money. He was doing my, he was running fantasy leagues, like on his own. This is not ESPN affiliate. He's running fantasy leagues and I never got paid. What?
Starting point is 00:19:20 And now it opened up a whole other thing where he's now being like seriously investigated. Damn. Yeah. Louis, Louis, what are you seeing? No, that's right. Keep me covered. The Attorney General's Office is opening an investigation.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Never want to hear that. On the business dealings on the fantasy stuff. That's crazy. Yo, that's crazy. Like, so it all the way it unfolded. And we don't know why he veered in traffic either. No, but people speculate the same thing. They speculate tweeting or texting or.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Damn. Yo, guys, we can't. The driving and phone thing, bro. Everybody. No, it's bad. Everybody is out here gambling with their lives and their family's lives. Yeah. And by everybody, I mean, me included.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Yeah, but I touch my phone. I get screamed out so crazy by my wife, fortunately. No, you need that, though. No, you need it. But you have a feature. You need it. You got to get comfortable with that talk to text. You need it.
Starting point is 00:20:21 It says to you, if you have car play. Oh, Laura texting me, tap. Laura says, blah, blah, blah. Do you want to reply? and you say what you want to say. Yeah, fact. You just really can't. Yeah, it's crazy stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Are Washington commanders? I don't know why you sent that. Because our Washington commanders. But you don't even keep up the joke of rooting for the Washington commanders long enough for it to be a good joke. What happened? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:20:45 It's great right now. It just worked. I got a Pryft. Griff laughed. You're annoyed. Like, he's great stuff. He just randomly sends a screenshot. No, that one of their coaches got a DUI,
Starting point is 00:20:56 so he's off the 10. team and then they got DWI and now they have Wes Walker coaching the the tight ends. Yeah, very exciting stuff. You know, our commanders, I'm watching what's going on. Yeah, yeah. By the way, I had seen it. I only sent it in the text so that you would know that I'm paying attention to the offseason, you know, moves. Moves.
Starting point is 00:21:15 That'll be amazing. And by the way, I didn't even know they'd replace the guy. See, put you on. You gave me news. I saw that he had gotten clipped and there was speculation on what it would, why? Because they said when they announced that they were letting him go, they were like the Washington commanders are parting ways with tight ends coach so and so we have no further comment at this time everyone's like what what does that mean and then of course
Starting point is 00:21:36 people start digging like oh he got to eat so now I move up right yeah you're a bigger fan Lou what would you like to say well we're talking football did you y'all see the tony romo video from that dropped yesterday i like i would like to file that well there's two things you could say here one it's not what you want and number two it's a different version of you look nuts why he looked nuts He's, he's, it's a DUI video. Damn it. Tony Romo's a former quarterback who's now color analyst for CBS.
Starting point is 00:22:05 And damn good at that. People enjoy him. How bad was the video? It's not great. It's not like, it's not great. He just got pulled over, got to charge, nobody got hurt. I mean, it's all bad. Yes, it's all bad.
Starting point is 00:22:17 The looking nuts is the, yes, is the way. The photo. The way he's talking in the thing and attempting to do the, the sobriety test, So I gotta tell you though, man, when you watch them do that sobriety test, sometimes I watch it on those videos and I'm like, if I was stone sober, I can't do it. I can't do the alphabet backwards.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Bro. They're touching my nose, following the lines. Bro. I can't do that. I can't do it right now. No, but Laura, it's more. It's like one leg out, turn to the side, then turn back, turn to the side. Then I'm like, what kind of standard is this?
Starting point is 00:22:53 It's a lot. It's a lot. But he was able to stretch beforehand. Yo, they show him, no, no, yo, Ebro. Well, I mean, look, he's a former football player. I got to say, he gets on there on the cop's vehicle, and he's like, mm-hmm. That would be me.
Starting point is 00:23:07 No, it would be here, bro. I mean, yeah, yo, can I stretch for this? My hamstrings are tight. Yo. I was just sitting. He looks nuts. He really does look nuts. Speaking of nuts, that video you sent yesterday, the skydiving video gave me so much anxiety.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Was that skydiving video AI or not? I think it's AI. In the comments section of that, jazz, jazz is Algo. I may start another segment called my wife's Algo. Oh my wife's my wife. Because it could be your wife, my wife. Where things come up and I'm like, babe, read the comments. Is this real?
Starting point is 00:23:39 People will tell you in the comments. I'll tell you though, this is good AI. You have the video? That's my life though. This is good AI though. I think I say it. First of all, why was this lady in there with no parachute? Right.
Starting point is 00:23:58 You always have to have a parachute. Why would she be sitting? That's not a thing, right? That's not a thing, right? That's not a thing No it's not a thing That's not a thing Now but even if you had the parachute
Starting point is 00:24:08 And someone did that I'd be so mad Had my blood boiling Rosenberg Just the thought Who would even do that? Friendship over Well in theory In this made up video
Starting point is 00:24:17 That we're now analyzing The fake person was thinking Oh my God I don't want to do it And just was scared in grabs Not you bitch you're coming But I don't know if you can get over that No but she pushed her That's what I'm asking
Starting point is 00:24:30 Who would push someone? Oh no people do stuff like that Yeah, and it led to horrible things. There was a video of like... No, well, that's a different one. Okay, hold on, hold on. Yes. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:24:44 That was they were doing... Was it bungee jumping? Bungee? Or was it just dot? No. I don't think that was actually a dive though. I think she was just shoving her in the water. Oh, we're talking about two different ones, but yes, the water one is horrible.
Starting point is 00:24:59 The water one is a girl, their best friends. and she was just messing around and her friend wasn't ready and she shoved her off a pretty far thing into water girl broke her paralyzed yeah everything ribs arms it was horrible a horrible thing
Starting point is 00:25:15 and now how old is this this in the last couple years and the girl was facing I don't know what she ended up getting but severe time terrible it was a terrible video it's a terrible circumstance because like obviously the girl didn't mean it
Starting point is 00:25:28 but it didn't mean what I mean what I mean she meant mess with her friend. That's right. But obviously wasn't thinking there's a friend in danger. Yeah see that's the part that really... Well, I don't know how far the fall was. It sounds like it was pretty far. But mad people have pushed their friends in the water before. We're not going to act like that hasn't happened. But from
Starting point is 00:25:44 what? The height, like, what are we talking about? This one was high. Louis, can you find that? I don't want to spend too much time. Sorry. But I'm just saying you ask the question, who does this? When people do diving and jumping and things, I've definitely seen the, all right, just go and they push. I've seen it.
Starting point is 00:26:00 It's a thing. And I'm not okay with any of it. But Yes, it's a thing. Well, back to the fake video that we're now analyzing. Like it's real. Jumping out of the plane. Yeah, the reason I knew that was AI off the rip is because they didn't look like experienced skydivers. Right. When are you jumping alone as an inexperienced skydiver?
Starting point is 00:26:19 I think never. And then when would someone who's also seemingly inexperienced not have a thing? No, it's, although I will say, based on the stories I hear, I rarely give America credit for anything. But based on the stories I hear about when people, people do these activities in other countries. No, it's loose. No, listen. America, guys, I want to be honest, we suck at basically everything.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Except when it comes to doing, like, risky activities, I'm only doing them here. Well, I'm not doing it. But I was going to say, take it a step further. One of the reasons we suck is because you could sue somebody over a sandwich. Right. Right. I have done some very questionable things in different countries. Yeah, you did, you brought my wife a law on one of them.
Starting point is 00:27:00 We both wanted to do it. Oh, here we go. Don't. Do not blame me. Here we come. Right? Put my whole family's future in danger. Oh, my, yes.
Starting point is 00:27:07 What did you do? We went on a hot air balloon. Which, by the way, y'all saw that video a couple weeks ago. We were. We did a hot air balloon in Brazil. We did a hot air. What country were you in? We were in Mexico City.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Oh. It was me, Natalie and Ricardo. Ricardo was shook and he was like, I am scared. But I was like, yo, we really want to do this. So me and Natalie and Ricardo got on this hot air balloon. And by the way, y'all should all know that Natalie will hang off the side of a helicopter over the East River. She's starting to get the Hudson River generally. Less and less.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Was it so Spichoso? Yes, it was because we were up there and when it was time to go down we almost landed in a zoo.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I didn't know what she meant by that at first. Randall Zoo in Mexico City on the outskirts of God knows what mountain. A loose zoo in Mexico is crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:54 There might have been humans in that joint. I was like, a loose zoo in the Bronx could be crazy. Señor, I think it's an aina.
Starting point is 00:28:01 I was like there's a hyena down there. He was like, oh, okay. Then he pulled the strings for the, so the, you know, fire can go up. It was loose. And that landing was very rough. And I thought about that again when I saw the tragedy in Brazil where the hot air balloon just blew up. I didn't even see this. Yeah, I'll never do it again.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Two weeks ago. I did it. I did it. Is this a new segment on the show? Oh, hell no. Oh, hell no. Wait, I, bro, you definitely. You look nuts.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Oh, hell no. And I don't know if I did. did it with you, but I think Rando Zipline in like Jamaica. Oh yeah, for sure. That wasn't Randall though. Don't, don't disparage Jamaica like that. Is it clean? Oh, no, no, no, uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Any other picture, you never know. Where was this? I love Jamaica, but I'm talking about it could be Jamaica, it could be. Nah, that was safe, bro. It could be anywhere. You never know. Nah, shout, don't, don't do that to Jamaica. I'm zipline.
Starting point is 00:28:54 They be on a game. Well, that's the thing, in places like Jamaica, especially if you're in a place where, um, uh they it's all tourist activity and they're connected you should be i've done it yes i have done it i did it in jamaica i did it multiple times i think i might have pushed laura off the platform on the ziplash see maybe exactly now you want to act like no one does it it's a thing yo let's get to the rundown laura staff all right let's go laura got the rundown turn that up screens on glow when she pulled up headlines heavy but we still cut up life still flashing we don't slow
Starting point is 00:29:31 So 50 Cent just did a major licensing deal with Netflix. Okay, get that Netflix money. This is big. So his Power series is officially coming to Netflix. It was a big deal with Lionsgate Television. So every single season of Power goes raised in Canaan and Force will be part of the new deal. So if you are someone who subscribes to Stars, don't worry, all the series will remain on Stars also. But starting in November, fans will be able to watch Power on Netflix if they choose to do so.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Okay. That's big. All right. That's big. All right. All right. All right. So Cardi B dropped a teaser for a new song.
Starting point is 00:30:08 It can't trap me. And let me play you a clip because we didn't have it yesterday. I think I say I see where a nigger can't trap me. No. I won't keep it ever. Well. What's your whole? Never played with me once in this bitch.
Starting point is 00:30:48 Is there a problem? I just definitely heard the line. No, dude can't trap me. I won't keep it. And it's like evidence. suggest that's not true so everybody was kind of ripping her for that line so this is a sure i won't keep him i thought it was keep him oh really well then the line works yeah i think everyone must have thought what i thought yeah so this is her explaining the situation well who
Starting point is 00:31:14 needs that when we have bascom explaining debating if i want to like put it out or not now me and my laborer panicking because I'm like, you know what? I'm just going to preview something. And now that I see the chat guys like it, I'm like, damn, I'm going to have to shoot a music video this weekend. I'm going to take a flight and shoot a video this weekend. I'm glad that I'm just having fun with music and like, y'all just like loving it and enjoying it. But I'm going to pick three bones with y'all fuckers because y'all, I don't know what it is. I feel like y'all got something against bad. Or y'all, y'all have been trying to play me lately. And I don't like that shit.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Like, y' y'I've been trying to play me a little bit lately. And I don't like that. First and first, I know exactly what I said on that line. I can't trap me. I won't keep him. No, that is. And you're acting stupid. Like, it's like, maybe I process things in my brain that chop process. Like, I know exactly what I said.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Like, stop saying like, oh, somebody holds that for you. Like, because I, like, no, I know exactly what I said. I know exactly how I felt when I said that shit. Because first and first, like, yes, I could have a baby. So that's what that line means. Like, I know exactly what I say. Oh, I never won't track. I'm getting bored.
Starting point is 00:32:22 I love you, Cardi. That's not how the line sounds. I'm a stand, but I'm telling you, when I heard it, I went, it sounds, I listened to it. Okay, so boom. Not how it sounds. So we live, we are a show that is pro choice. Sure.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Let's say the line was. Yeah. What people thought it was. Yes. My only issue with the line would be that you just had a baby with some random dude who's that, that's your issue. But what was that? the, what was the issue?
Starting point is 00:32:55 Because she's saying that just because she has a baby with someone, she's not trapped. She isn't, you know what I mean? Right, but I thought people were saying that she would have an abortion. I thought that was what people were having an issue with, but that's not what she said. I didn't see the abortion stuff. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Because I thought it sounds, if she said, a dude can't trap me, I won't keep it. If that's what she didn't say, but let's, we're playing hypotheticals. What would people be mad about? The, that she just did. She just had a baby with a guy who is apparently going to be a whatever. Yeah, but I...
Starting point is 00:33:31 So if you said, I won't keep it, yeah, you did. I'm looking at him right now. Okay, so let's play that thing. Let's walk down that path. But she's not trapped. She wanted to have a baby. But she kept the baby. The point is she kept the baby.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but her whole thing is like, I can do that. Right. I'm not trapped. I have money. You can't trap. I can keep my babies and I could walk out. But that's in the version of the line that she explains that it is.
Starting point is 00:33:53 But people, it didn't sound like that. Yeah, a lot of people felt like you. But by the way, I didn't care. I just thought it was funny. When she said it, I was like, evidence suggests you will keep it. Let's go to Rahsa. And to be fair, she got, he did the file stuff after the baby was here, right? She wasn't so pregnant, man.
Starting point is 00:34:10 No, remember, he had like a, he had several babies on the way at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. So people, I think, people think that I guess she was, like, caught up. Right. Or trapped, if you will. Because she was pregnant the same time as the other ones. But I guess what I'm saying is,
Starting point is 00:34:28 Cardi B has said more egregious lines. Oh my God. In her catalog and career than that. Everybody shut the fuck. Everybody shut the hell up. Because like what do we? Yeah, but do people really care about this? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Just pick at her. But this world, even her saying like people are, what did she say in the beginning of that? Like people, y'all really playing in my face, whatever she was saying about people nitpicking her. You're, Cardi, you're super popular. and super successful, and this is what happens when you have that.
Starting point is 00:34:58 New fans come in and they're like, oh my God, right? They fell in love with some of your pop records and they're hearing this more edgy content, let's call it, and they're flabbergasted. Those of us that have been following this, it was like people being upset with young Miami talking about scamming and stealing on spend that.
Starting point is 00:35:20 What planet, did y'all hear the first album that they were on April? No, no, their entire brand. I know. I was like, you're mad at your, Young Miami for being young Miami? No, it's literally... But I think that's where... Why is this horror movie so scary?
Starting point is 00:35:33 I didn't sign up for this. Right. It makes no sense. But I think that's where, you know, outlets that actually cover hip hop are important to kind of give a reality check to the... To hip hop, which I don't think are phased by Cardi B's lyrics. But also, if this gets picked up and goes other places and people are like trying to make a big deal out of it, you haven't been listening.
Starting point is 00:35:55 You're new here. I literally just thought it was a funny. To me, it was laying in bed with my wife watching the line. I was like, I won't keep it. Yeah, you will. Right. Because she also, literally that same day, you guys know I'm watching all of Cardi Social. That she literally comes out the next day and she's like this.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Four kids, four kids, four kids, because of how she looked with four kids. So that, to me, it was just goofy and funny. But also what I was struck by when she said all that stuff to the camera was, I had Rory on Validate Me last week, great episode, go listen to it. And we were talking about like our complaining about people always having things to say about what we say. Bro, we literally, him and I both chose a living to say things to everyone. That's right. And then when people get mad, we get sensitive about it, especially me sometimes.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Like, but you don't have the context. Like Cardi being mad, you posted it in people that comments. Cardi, you knew the second you post something. It's getting a million plays and a million comments. But not only that, you said something. or and always say things purposefully to be, to garner a reaction, to create an emotional response. She's very Kanye-like in that way in terms of bars in the middle of a verse that everyone's
Starting point is 00:37:08 like, oh, what did she say there? That's kind of what she does. But it's all, it's all Algo hustling. You know what I mean? Everybody's in on it. Even her, she was like, look, I might have to go shoot this moving. I got to go shoot a video this weekend. Cardi's songs.
Starting point is 00:37:20 I don't know if you go guys. She drops random one-offs. They always do pretty well. I'm happy she's right back to it. I love that last album. I'm happy and she had a great tour. Did she do, did she do her, change her body? That was another comment I saw.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Was people saying she changed her body. I, She took things out. There's people saying she reduced her BBL. Guys, guys, guys, guys. What are you? Congratulations, you played yourself. This is like picking apart her lyrics.
Starting point is 00:37:44 She's changed things multiple times. Who gives it? Like, what are you talking about? This is what's out there. I mean, she was great. I, yeah, she can keep it in, leave it out. I'm in. Either way.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Clearly she can keep it in, leave it out. Yeah, and they're in either way. Oh, my God. That's part of the issue. That's why you got four kids? People apparently want to leave it in. Screen's on glow when she pulled up. So we're just going to let Melly Mell pull up on this episode of ELR and go at Marshall.
Starting point is 00:38:20 And we're not going to cover Marshall auctioning off 100 signed sneakers. I didn't know that. To straight for benefit for kids in Detroit? Which sneakers? Personal question. The threes? Yo, hold up. I have a pair of threes.
Starting point is 00:38:35 No, you have fours. The ones he wore at halftime. Oh, I have fours. The fours are going for, well, at one point they were going for 20 racks. I think they dropped to like $12,000. These ones, it's, and they go for 30 grand. 30 grand a pot. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Auctions starts at 25. We need a month. Griff's all the way in. We need a griff for my mic for. I just want to say it again. I mean, all we got to do is running. He sounds like someone's yelling at us on the street. He sounds like we're in trouble with someone.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I like it. I kind of like it. It's very Charlie Brown's teacher. Yeah, and it goes also well with our aesthetic, too, of what you hear a sirens go by in the neighborhood. I like it. I'm into it. That's dope.
Starting point is 00:39:16 I'm into it. Good for Merstril. What is this Stephen A calls Trump trifling clip? No, we're wasting. Sorry. You want to, you want to, are we going to skip past all the Lindsay Graham funeral videos. All right.
Starting point is 00:39:27 We could lose time. Let's go. Let's go Lindsay Graham. I don't care about Stephen A much. Graham videos do you have by Lindsey Graham but go ahead oh my god sorry you didn't do you watch the clips I saw Trump attempting to eat a tic-tac that's not worth watching you maybe I don't know what good content is let's go let's see let's see oh I haven't Trump's going for the tic-tacks appear to be how do people see him sitting there
Starting point is 00:39:49 like that and go that's what that's a leader that's a leader that's yeah the worst posture on earth just gut all gut hunched over the white mint oh he missed it he missed He attempted to put it, got to concentrate. Do you see how he had to prepare his lips in advance of getting the Tick-Tag? It was like a real, I mean, listen. If he wasn't mean and a terrible human, he's an 80-year-old man. True. And, you know, there's challenges.
Starting point is 00:40:16 So missing Tic-Tac's and falling asleep at a funeral is honestly par for the course. The only problem is the fact that he tries to act like it's all good and it's not. I think that, like if people were being normal about his, how unhealthy he was, his age, his ailments. If we were being normal and we saw that, you go whatever. Well, you would definitely still be having the combo
Starting point is 00:40:38 about like, why is he still in the job? And is he suitable for the job? I think that's a fair combo when it was happening to Biden. I thought it was a fair combo, right? Like we were seeing physical things and energy things
Starting point is 00:40:49 that were questionable. The fact that they hide is medical. By the way, I want to remind everyone because I remember this clearly because I had never heard anything like it before. when y'all hired him the first time in 2020 in 2016 he sent goons into his doctor's office in manhattan to steal his medical records oh yeah i remember that that was a thing that happened in the first
Starting point is 00:41:18 term right is that normal how often that usually happens though when people run for president that goons are hired to run up in an office and steal records that's normal so that happened so now here we are 10 years later and they've been hiding his health so that's why this is unusual if he was just an older man who was having health complications it would be an older man having health
Starting point is 00:41:42 complication fair fair enough I mean look at the bruising in his hands every time you see makeup trying to cover it out have you seen his swollen feet and ankles hanging over the shoe but but the thing is all of it kind of amounts to a nothing burger because to your point he's 80 he's
Starting point is 00:41:59 big he's a big 80 what is he 6 4 2 30 but also overweight but that well definitively overweight we all know that right but he's still obese obese not not even overweight obese well obese is i got to be honest as someone who's definitely been in that obese category it's not a very hard bar no but that's what i'm saying i'm just making sure people now is he morbid though morbid he could be i think he's probably morbidly got it not to be morbid but i think he's probably morbidly obese Do you have the other video of him talking, by the way, or tapping the coffin? What do you got? Oh, here is him giving some of his very sweet words.

Starting point is 00:43:27 New episodes week over week. Watch the Hulu original series Furious. Now streaming only on Hulu on Disney Plus. About Lindsay Graham. Heated things got in Washington, virtually everyone, Republican or Democrat, liked Lindsay. Well, not everybody.
Starting point is 00:43:46 I actually liked this. Not everybody. He was a tough cookie. Okay, I have to be. I have to veer from this first. He was a tough cookie, darling. But he was beautiful. Now, I know you like this because we don't like Lindsey Graham.
Starting point is 00:44:01 No. But that's not a normal thing to do at a funeral. No, no, no. But that's why people like Trump is because he's just not, he's not going to anchor man you. He's not going to just say what's on the paper. Even at a funeral where you're honoring someone who sold their soul to be your puppet. Yeah, yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:44:18 You still got it back, but you still weren't a nice guy all the time. I remember. No, no, no. He was saying that it said that everybody liked him. He's like, well, not everybody. But that's why he liked him. is because Donald Trump is okay not being every that which is once again why people like Donald Trump why people are in Maga to begin with is because they feel like they're getting some level of honesty
Starting point is 00:44:39 and then of course he did the traditional we all know this tradition when you walk by the coffin just give it a little love tap this is a think is a religious gesture I've seen before looks very authentic I've seen that you see the old I've seen people kiss coffins sure but have you ever seeing them give a All right, buddy. Good luck. Well, that was a, that was a, that was a, see you when I see you.
Starting point is 00:45:03 No, that was a, I'll see you down there. Oh my God. See you down there? I can't. Keep it warm. Well, nah, that's, not, that's, not I keep it cool.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Try to find some AC for it. Let me know if they got some cooling systems down there. All right. And then there's another time, another clip that I didn't send where he just utterly forgot who he was talking about at one point. I mean, I've seen a couple of those.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Yeah, he was just like, and that's why we honor. this man who sits here. Once again, if we weren't lying about his health, that's acceptable. We would be like, yeah. So what? You spoke at a funeral and you forgot.
Starting point is 00:45:38 You forgot. I'm not as old as you and I forget people all the time. I can relate. My dad is almost Trump's age. But my dad does not forget or my dad's not nearly as crazy. Well, your dad also reads. And writes and takes care of myself.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Too much, though. He spends too much time on the computer. be honest, it's annoying. Well, no, I was talking about books. Oh, that too, and that's better, but it's all, my dad, the amount of time that man is on his laptop or phone is crazy. And if you try to tell him, literally the other day when my brother and I were trying to explain to him that AI gets things wrong historically.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Yeah. They get historic fact wrong. He was being tongue-in-cheek, but he was literally like, I don't want to hear about it. Don't tell me my friend is wrong. My friend. He's playing with us, but he is also. He also loves it. If you're old like me in this hip-hop thing, you remember the time Timberlin,
Starting point is 00:46:33 allegedly, because I think I got this article from the source magazine back in the day. And this information from the source magazine back in the day. It was before the internet. No idea where we're going, do you, Lord? That Timberland did not want to give hip-hop credit for how well their brand and business was doing. Oh, oh, Timberland. Timberland, the brand, the shoe brand, not Timbaland. You said Timbalin.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Timberland. Timberland didn't want to give hip-hop. That I remember. There was a Tommy Hill figure story similar back in the day. I don't know if that one's true. I only heard about that one. Thank God for Nautica. They never said anything slick.
Starting point is 00:47:14 But let's look at what Timberland's people are saying now. You say hip-hop owns Timbs. We just shepherded it. Say more. The Schwartz family who created Timberland would be the first to say in the half. they created the brand, the hip hop movement really picked it up and ran with it and really created and embedded it in the culture. And it was the yellow boot that was born in the same year hip hop was born.
Starting point is 00:47:37 And so they've grown up together. And I would say, no brand is more owned by its culture than Timberland is owned by the hip hop culture. And so we're very aware of that. I'm very aware of that. And I love that aspect of it. We try to really pay how much to it all the time because it's so important to the brand. In a way, a really strong brand, you don't really own it. the users who own it, especially those who feel most passionate about it.
Starting point is 00:47:59 What you can do is contribute to that and support it. And that's what we do. Is that true is the question? Have they, do they give, I mean, I know they do campaigns and lean into the hip hop of it. I mean, have they, I wonder if they've actually given the support back to. What is that? Well, I, what would that look like from them? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:18 I do not know. Because I know they definitely hire a lot of people that we know in fashion and hip hop. That's part of it. and events and do business with hip hop business. That's definitely part of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's great to you. And listen, it's way better than it used to be
Starting point is 00:48:31 when we heard, at least back in the day, they weren't interested. Yeah, they wanted no part of it. Well, I think it wasn't, I remember hearing that they just didn't want to give credit. Whether or not they were interested as kind of, I know it's nuanced, but it was basically like they didn't want to give hip hop credit
Starting point is 00:48:46 for building, for basically what that guy said. That's what I heard back in the day. But I just wanted to bring it full circle and say, that's not what they're saying now. Very cool. Cool. Well, what's the first Timberland line that you think of in hip-on? I know mine. It's very obvious.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Go ahead. Go ahead. Wear my Timberland boots so I can stomp the ticks. By the way, really? Do you go stomping ticks? Nice and smooth. You should. Sometimes when I'm slow. Ticks are horrible.
Starting point is 00:49:16 They're horrible, but like where was he seeing? Ticks. Yeah, where was Greg Nis seen? Where my Timberland boots so I could stop the ticks? Maybe Van Cortland Park in the Bronx. Yeah, maybe it was Van Coral Park. Maybe. But it's tough to see ticks.
Starting point is 00:49:28 That's the thing. You're walking on stomping. That's what's scary, but you can't stop them. But is there another famous line? There's tons. And I'm terrible at hip-hop. I don't remember anything. I'm terrible.
Starting point is 00:49:37 You're excellent. I'm not even excellent. That's the only one that really comes to my mind. I'm sure in the chat. There's probably tons of people. I'm going to look in the chat. All right. I do want to play video 21 even before.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Video 21 for Laura Stav. Yes, yes, yes. Today, I am proud to announce a collection of essential staples. that will be predictably 30% cheaper at all five of our city-run grocery stores. This core set of goods will include all fresh produce, meat, and seafood, along with 20 other essential items like cheese, milk, and bread. Here's how it will work. Once a month, our five city-run grocery stores will set prices for this core set of goods
Starting point is 00:50:15 at 30% below typical retail prices. No exceptions, no gimmicks. The savings will last for the entire month. That means no weekly fluctuations nor sticker shock at the checkout line. Not for our seniors living on fixed incomes nor for the parents who rely on a regular supply of apple slices to keep toddler tantrums at bay. Now, he went on to say that they won't be selling cigarettes. They won't be selling lottery tickets. They won't be selling, you know, some of the other things that you would get at your corner store delis or bodegas.
Starting point is 00:50:48 And that was a big conversation. He had with the bodega owners and the youths. Union, letting me know, like, I know that's how you guys make your money. We're staying away from that. We're sticking to produce. Yeah. And I think that's one of the reasons the bodega, the bodega union was like, okay, we'll endorse you. Now, what I don't quite understand about these grocery stores, are they available to everyone?
Starting point is 00:51:09 Or do you have to have some sort of, right? Because somebody like me, Rosembourg and Laura, shouldn't be able to shop at these grocery stores. In my opinion. Right. We make too much money. And certainly you let me and Ebro's wise find out that there's a deal like that. It's going to be hard to keep away. Man, matter of fact, put up a picture.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Yeah, because they hear a great deal on some produce. I know. So how are they managing that part where you don't have people who don't need the savings? I don't know if you can. I don't know if you can be like... I feel like you should have some sort of card or something. When you walk in, you can... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:43 You have some sort of something. An I'm poor enough card is what you're suggesting. Well, people have EBT cards already. So I'm joking to make you look bad. But I would think maybe an EBT card. Like, wouldn't that literally be? Not they have to use it, but to show, like. There are some people who are right on the board.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Right. They don't qualify for EBT, but they need the cheaper groceries. But I do, I guess I do want those individuals. Mm-hmm. I feel like it would be above board and okay to say, hey, I need help. And make sure that, like for instance, you know, if there's going to be one in each borough, is that what they're saying? They're supposed to be. One in each borough.
Starting point is 00:52:21 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe you have to be a resident in that borough. Like you can't be a Manhattan resident and go over to the whatever one. Doing in the Bronx. Whatever it is. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:31 I'm just trying to figure so we can manage, you know, we. So they can manage this so that the stores aren't overrun and the opportunity to get great produce and, you know, food necessities, healthy food necessities are available to the people that need it. And it's not abused by individuals who don't need it. That's all I'm saying. Whatever that is. I don't know if there is. Because we know the people who don't need it,
Starting point is 00:52:55 we'll show up and take it all. We've seen it. Well, it happens all the time. All the time. Jazz is plant-based mostly, vegan mostly. She'll order, like, we'll have, like, people over. Or one of the kids' parties. And they'll be like, this is vegan for the people who don't eat.
Starting point is 00:53:12 There's chicken. There's other things. Why are people who are not vegan eating the vegan stuff? I just want to try. Me too. I want to try it. Go. Go, but they don't, you see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:53:23 Yes, it's natural. Sway Tim's on my feet, make my cipher complete. Yes, yes, yes. Yes, yes. Thank you, Chet. Yes, yes, yes. Anyway, look, people still have a problem with this. I do not understand why you do.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Because they hate Muslims. Yes, yes. So let's just, we got to just jump. Yo, I'm done. They're Islamophobes. They hate Mom Dani, done. I'm tired of entertaining these people. Or you're a bot and you're being funded by someone who is.
Starting point is 00:53:50 It's Muslims. No, or you just are corporatized. Oh, oh, sorry. Yeah, there's got to be those people. You got to include those people. Right, because they just hate that he's going to go for the rich. They're worried about the real estate. They're worried about this.
Starting point is 00:54:01 They're worried about that. Or they're worried about people getting a discount. Yeah. Because they want people to get overcharged because it helps their stock prices or their margins or their business in some way. It's going to be interesting to see how far Mom Dany can take this thing. Obviously, sadly, he can't be president because he was not born in America. But we'll be interested to see how. Could he be vice president?
Starting point is 00:54:19 I don't think so Because then you could be president Got it That makes it You can be You can be vice president But you can never ascend to the president Okay
Starting point is 00:54:30 You can never ascend to the president So then they would So if you were vice president And you weren't eligible to be president And something happened to the president They would take Secretary of State Speaker of the House or Speaker of the House And what's the point?
Starting point is 00:54:40 Well the point is Is that the vice president Can be somebody pretty important Yeah pretty And influence policy Yeah And just be a good You know figure out of him
Starting point is 00:54:48 Maybe he could be Secretary of State and work on, you know, our relationships abroad. That would be a great position for him one day. But I just wonder if he'll do Senate. Like, I just wonder how far he will take this thing. Well, let's try to see what these. Let's see him.
Starting point is 00:55:02 I want to, the heat hasn't really, they're trying to ratchet the heat up on mom down here, trying to figure it out. No, stop. Every day. Watch it. Everything he does. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Trying to pick him apart, pick him apart. The New York Post is salivating for sale. Well, they're shook because the truth is, they're scared of him they're scared of the Democratic socialists Oh wait my bad My bad hang on
Starting point is 00:55:26 Laura saw coming He bro didn't Because they know More than anything They're effective And people are interested And they're galvanizing people So you could tell
Starting point is 00:55:37 They're shook With these elections around the corner I want to just put this out there too Just to hold that point There was a time in this nation Where there were Black Activists
Starting point is 00:55:49 like Fred Hampton in Chicago, who at the time was like 21, who was like, listen, y'all, leader of the Black Panther Party in Chicago. Fred Hampton, if you do your research on it, was like, listen, it's not about our race, guys. It's not what this is about. I don't care if you are, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:13 white supremacists, you hate black people, you've been tricked. They have us going, I don't care if you're Muslim, I don't care if you're Muslim, I don't care about none of that. This is about classism. They do not want the working class of all backgrounds
Starting point is 00:56:29 to come together and realize that the real enemy is corporations, the elites. It is not about race and it is not about religion. But the race part is used as a tool to keep the poor all separated, angry at each other. And so the mom, Donnie, of it all, the Democratic Socialists of it all, the Bernie Sanders, if you will,
Starting point is 00:56:54 of it all. Hit the button. Oh. Yeah, you can't say it. Is bringing working class people together no matter the background? Yes, King. Well, I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:57:08 isn't this what ultimately got Martin Luther King? Yes. Popped off. He was bringing everybody together. Well, you mean killed. Yeah, popped, not popped off. He popped off, and then he got. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Murder. So anyway, I wanted to use that Because while, yes, it is the fact that his name is Zoran Kwame Mamdani, just like it was an issue that it was Barack Hussein Obama, right? Yes, that's an issue. Yes, it's an issue that they're not white people. Sure. Yes, it's an issue with Mamdani that he is Muslim.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Those are all issues that they can play with. I wanted to use it to hopefully start us having a combo that what they're really afraid of is not those things. Well, they know that the population is afraid of those things, so they use those things. What the they's are really afraid of is the unification of all backgrounds of working class individuals that actually want to figure out how to get the system to function. They want to keep it dysfunction. We don't need it. Yeah, they don't want to function.
Starting point is 00:58:12 I want to function for them. That's right. It's what's working perfectly. Which is broken for us. It's broken for us working perfect for them. That's right. But that is also why when you see the Hassan Piker. get in trouble because people think he's dismissive of race.
Starting point is 00:58:27 That's not a Hassan Piker thing. They went at Bernie for the same thing. Bernie doesn't focus on black people. No, that's not what they do. It doesn't mean, Bernie's made very clear how he feels about systemic racism. He's made very clear how he feels about white supremacy. He's made very clear how he feels about what Israel's doing in Gaza. Bernie has done all of those things, but he doesn't lead race because that's not what
Starting point is 00:58:50 their belief is in terms of how to fix the problems. Well, and in there, and this is the nuance for black, you know, communities. There is some of the capitalism that we see in America is fueled. Remember, it is built on racism. So if you're going to really uproot capitalism, you have to dig into the racism in white supremacy to really get the capitalists and the capitalism out of the dynamic. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:59:27 And I think that complication is when you hear some black people saying, hey, you guys are not including black people in this convo. Sure. Because the racism is built on black pain, trauma, disenfranchisement and all that. No, it's all in there. You got to get that out of there. You can't ignore that. Totally agree.
Starting point is 00:59:47 You just don't want to, in my opinion, you just don't want to mistakenly throw away the baby with the bathwater. No, it's a difficult balance. It's because you think they don't care just because their philosophy of how they get there may be different. Well, when we have Hassan up here, he acknowledges the blind spots. Things he doesn't understand doesn't know. And so I think if we're going to see the Democratic socialists of it all. Thank you. Try to keep, you know, what we see out of balance right now, right?
Starting point is 01:00:17 see the Democratic Socialist movement attempting to balance out this tech you know this cronyism and capital you know unchecked capitalism right like that's really what we're asking for we're asking for a checks and balance system we're asking because that's what we all believe or have been sold is kind of like the best version of what we could be right um and that's yet to be seen we haven't seen but then they also the thing that makes it hard right now is is in addition to the corporate interests who hate people like mom donnie you then have the outright white supremacists like the Stephen Miller's who I believe who Stephen Miller cares more about oppressing people of color that's right then he cares about economics I think he wakes up
Starting point is 01:00:59 every day thinking how can we kill and get rid of people of color they I ultimately in the long run that would be the dream if only if you go back and watches the things he said is like a teenager I mean that's who he's been but keep as you said that listen to what you just said there is a financial interest in that taking place for people like Stephen Miller. Right? You see what I'm saying? The people that you can oppress, disenfranchise, traumatize, traumatize, make feel like they don't belong. Make help keep sick. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:01:32 You can financially take advantage of them. That's the game. The game is you can't get in the club. You have to stand outside in the rain. And we're going to get you coming back every week because. we know you want to be in the club and that's how we can overcharge you to get in the club and we got to charge you for umbrellas.

Starting point is 01:02:15 That doesn't make sense. Yes, we can and we will. All rappers looked nuts in the early 80s until run DMC did, and then they started to look normal. But he always looked nuts. Thank you, Jay Fres. I was talking about MellyMellon. How about MellyMill. AI, you can't hear over that wind.

Starting point is 01:03:05 I don't remember That's a thing yeah What the hell really? Why can't we have anything? Medi says I'm gonna turn If you refuse the sobriety test, there is no suspension in New York. SFSTs, field sobriety test, I guess, are unreliable. Don't allow them to generate fake evidence.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Oh, I didn't know that. Pamela says, apparently there's a petition going around to block Mom Donnie from attending the 9-11 ceremony SMH. Is that a thing? Okay. All right. Who cares? Yeah. Oh, then someone else said the same thing.
Starting point is 01:03:38 They're trying to ban Akeem Brodry. They're trying to ban Mom Donnie from attending the 9-11. 9-11 25th anniversary. Yo, if that happens, I'd be in the street. That's in the street material for me. You're all protesting. Not letting the mayor of New York commemorate 9-11 because he's Muslim. That's it.
Starting point is 01:03:55 That's crazy. They don't even understand where he's from. They're too dumb to understand where he's even from. He's African. It doesn't matter. But by the way, I got to use the bathroom. This is, I got to go. No, go.
