I know it's not Family Friday, but it's Thursday. Good morning, everybody. I got to get a flight. So if you're a part of the Ebro-Lora Rosenberg Show, experience community program entity,
Starting point is 00:01:27 you know that we have other endeavors. You know what I mean? And so I got to get on a flight And I got to get to Dallas Because I got to link up with Erica Badu Oh, that's going to be... Are you allowed to say... Are you allowed to say about one?
Starting point is 00:01:47 Yeah, now, her and Alchemist dropping a new album. They put out a single a while ago So I'm linking up with Badu And Alchem is supposed to be there at Badu Studio This is fire because when he told me earlier I was like, wait, wait, wait, they already dropped a song right? And then what happened?
Starting point is 00:02:01 I guess they were still prepping the album and like figuring out how they wanted to roll it out and all the things that associated. I think they toured a little bit too, did some shows together. I think that was a part of, you know what? Gonna ask. Great, great question, Laura. Gonna ask.
Starting point is 00:02:19 That's exciting. Lately I've been seeing a lot of her daughter online. Yeah, who's which one? Puma, Puma. Yo, bro, it's like a carbon copy of her. Like, it's crazy. Her dad is a DOC, right? I think.
Starting point is 00:02:31 think so but it's it's just it's crazy how much they look alike well dOC from uh n w a also from dallas um now loro you have we have a lot of movie talk yes yes yes yes yes yes uh the movie trailers that are out um the the black panther blowback or whatever of it all which we kind of covered earlier in the week there's that um listen also tomorrow is uh you know we do a what we missed segment. And I know Rosenberg will be in for a little bit tomorrow and that he's got to run back out to ESPN because SummerSlam this weekend. So we're kind of the week is jumping all over the place.
Starting point is 00:03:14 We also want to encourage you guys, Ibro-Laura Rosenberg, at Gmail. You know, we talked about it yesterday on the Patreon too. If you watched the Patreon where we went through some classic vulgar hip-hop as well as some watching some amazing and classic hip-hop videos, which I think we're going to keep doing on Patreon just to discuss the time and reminisce a little bit. But please email us too. If you want to be a part of Freedom or Family Friday,
Starting point is 00:03:38 however you want to frame it, family matters. Ebro-Laure-Rosemort at Gmail. You can send us a vid, which we love, and a voice note, which we love, or just an email. On that note, speaking of email, at some point in the show, we got to get back to Bob Doe. Okay. We have a, what is that, a mosquito or a nap?
Starting point is 00:03:56 It's a nat, I think. In the studio. A mosquito. It's annoying me, yeah. So we got to get back to Bob Doe. Are you following the Bob Doe story? And this is for y'all out there in the land, in the community, as well as Laura. Are you following?
Starting point is 00:04:11 I mean, the last thing I read was that letter from his ex-best friend. So we had Bob Doe, which wrote a long-ass email that Rosenberg put in the AI to shorten, thinking his anonymous name was Bob Doe. We found out that was actually his name. Yep, yep. He is also a rapper. Then we played his rap song. That's right.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Then we found out that we didn't keep him anonymous, so then his best friend wrote in. Uh-huh. And talked about their messy love triangle. That's right, of which the best friend didn't really see you as a best friend, Bob Doe. Yes, yes, yes. So he's tapping your baby moms because he don't really care. Yeah. Now Bob Doe has sent us a five-minute video, which we,
Starting point is 00:04:56 We do not have time. Bob Doe, stop. We don't have time for that. Send us another video that's shorter. Less than a minute, Bob Doe, please. But he also emailed us, right, King Lou? Yeah, he sent to me a DM, actually. A DM.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Can you read the DM? Okay. All right, Bob Doe DM. Why are we so invested in this? I don't know. I figure, you know, it's a good story. It's a love triangle. It's a friend of the show.
Starting point is 00:05:21 Denver, Colorado, got a lot going on. He said, I know it's a lot. And that's why Peter didn't read my email. But before I send you this video, I wanted to send you my original email. And then he said, um, sorry, wanted to reach back out to you guys and check the temperature. This just got really, really messy. But there are some lies and some truth in my so-called friend's email. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I'm reaching out to let you know that I am open into calling to the show. Of course you are. It's a good promo. You would like me to call. If you're over it, I understand. and I'll be still be tuned in every day. Wait, why did you put that other voice on Bob Do? You don't know what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:06:01 I don't know. I just felt like you playing in his face. So you're making fun of Bob Doe. It's just, that's how it sounded in my head. So Laura. Okay. Should we have Bob Doe on? Should we have him send a shorter video?
Starting point is 00:06:15 How much time more time do we invest in this story? And do we, what and actually, what do we actually care about? Because the thing is that he's going to send a video. And then there's going to be questions. And then somebody else. And somebody else going to write in and be like, no, that's not true. So it's just going to be a he said, he said she said. But if you want, less than 60 seconds, please, Bob Doe, you can send a video in.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Well, I just want to say Bob Doe, okay, while you're trying to use and you and your community are trying to use our platform to figure out who's right and who's wrong. I believe your main question when you rode into the gurus at the time was should you try to repair this friendship? Yeah, yeah, yeah. With someone you thought was your best friend. Should you let it slide that he was tapping your baby moms and you didn't know about it? And I believe you found out through your daughter. So him sexing your baby moms is clear indication that he didn't care about your friendship. Then now we found out that he didn't even see you as his best friend, his bestie.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Bob Doe, move on. That's it. That's it. You're playing yourself. Matter of fact. Sorry, Bob Dole. You plagued yourself. Caring this much, the messiness of it all.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Clearly, you still care about your baby moms, and you care about your quote-unquote best friend. They don't give an F about you, my guy. And matter of fact, writing in here playing all in your face, they're playing you, bro. Yeah, that's it. And if I was you, you need to write a song about it. That's what you do.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Pour it into the music. Matter of fact, don't even send us a video. Record a song and then make a music video. Yeah, I send that in. There you go. And then write us when that's complete. Oh, my God. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Monetize the pain. That's what music's for. Yeah, I mean, yes. Tell your story in the music, man. So let's go. Wait, listen, Iber. I got to remind people, Envision Fest is coming, guys, August 8th and 9th.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah. I want to remind you. Starting point is 00:09:27 That's what I really want. General Stiles says EL Army spread the word. That's it. Just spread the word. You know, post, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:36 do you want them to engage with any of your sponsors? Sure. Just engage. What are the names? Well, no, engage in our content at Envision Fest
Starting point is 00:09:45 is our official IG. So just leave a comment, show us some love with what we're doing. That'll be amazing. There you go. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:50 All right. Um, Dr. Fauci was trending yesterday. Oh, yeah. If you don't recall Dr. Fauci of, uh, famed infamous COVID doctor. And, you know, since then has been, you know, uh, disparaged, dragged and all the other things. Him and I, it was Rand Paul was leading this, have been at odds for some time. And many people have, uh, blamed Fauci for COVID. Um, let's watch.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Which videos do we have, Rassan, from yesterday? I served at the NIH for over 54 years, 38 of those as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Over that period, I proved that I believe in and respect the value of legitimate congressional oversight. In fact, I testified before and or briefed Senate and House committees, well over 200 times over those 38 years. During and after the COVID pandemic, I have appeared multiple times for hearings
Starting point is 00:11:03 in the Senate and the House, usually under oath and sat for several days-long transcribed sworn interviews, answering questions about the very issues that are now the subject of this hearing. However, given Senator Paul's obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution, his repeated slanderous comments about me, and recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me, the only conclusion I can reach is that the
Starting point is 00:11:52 sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something, anything that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up in his words, quote, behind bars, unquote. Any reasonable person who has followed his unhinged obsession with me would readily come to the same conclusion. Therefore, although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch of government and my decades-long record of cooperating with Congress under the advice of my attorneys of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Thank you. So they went everybody because he's pleading the fifth and not willing to cooperate with this, you know, went in obviously at his proof that Fauci's guilty. Right. That's not what I heard there. What I heard there is someone who doesn't trust the process and the individuals conducting the process,
Starting point is 00:13:13 dust doesn't want to give them. Well, yeah, but it's all connected, right? Like, they have been obsessed with trying to throw him in jail. Yeah. Like, obsessed. They treat him like if he was just some wicked mad scientist
Starting point is 00:13:27 cooking this up. Like, they dismiss everything he's ever done. I mean, Fauci was, like, super instrumental during, like, the AIDS epidemic. Like, he's the real deal. But look who we're talking to. We're talking about an administration who doesn't believe in science.
Starting point is 00:13:40 So I'm looking up kind of like what people are saying here that about the diary because I didn't see the diary, haven't read the diary. So I'm just following. This is what people are saying. Okay. So people seem to have an issue with the private diary because they say that his private coverage in his own personal diary of the COVID virus differs from public messaging. they saying that oh that he was talking about his own personal fame
Starting point is 00:14:18 as if to frame it like he was enjoying becoming famous so there was an entry in the diary in which basically, and I'm paraphrasing but basically he's like oh I'm getting more coverage than the president of the United States yeah to COVID and people were kind of eyeing
Starting point is 00:14:35 well this quote says Fauci loved it April 2020, he said, quote, the press is still hot and heavy about me. And this one says he called himself, calling himself an international celebrity. And he's the most talked about person in the country. As if his entries were somehow like, and this is, by the way, his own personal diary, right? So how he wanted to cover himself. And so they had a problem with him, I guess, acknowledging that, I mean, the comment.
Starting point is 00:15:10 That's what happened. Yeah. Right. It's, but their frame, but the framing is that he loved it so much, so he just wanted to be. Right. Celebrity. There's also, here's the contradiction. January 26th, 2020, he put in his diary that the Hunan seafood market was not the source of the outbreak of COVID. It was the amplifier.
Starting point is 00:15:38 And critics are saying that's different than what the public was told. Okay But I don't remember the market I mean my Listen If you guys follow I bro Laura Rosenberg We covered the COVID thing
Starting point is 00:15:51 In pretty close Yeah Like because Obviously Cass 1 And Laura spent a lot of time in Asia And I remember the moment Cass was like Yo we were on the air
Starting point is 00:16:02 It was a December Cass 1 was like Yo my boy just hit me in China And said that they Shut down Wuhan China Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, all right. He was like, I was like, what's Wuhan?
Starting point is 00:16:15 I'd never heard of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was like, yo, it's a city of 10 million people, and that's what hit me. I was like, yo, it's a city larger than New York, the population of New York City. Yeah, and was shut down. At the time, then my home girl had hit me, maybe a day or two later that Hong Kong was shut down. And that, I was like, the entire, all of it, they were like, absolutely. Well, and I distinctly remember them talking about some endangered.
Starting point is 00:16:41 What is it called? What's the animal? No, not bats. It was like a, what are the, the scaly bird looking, pendulum, penguins?
Starting point is 00:16:52 Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. Yes, yes. It's an endangered species, like, it looks like a lizard, but it's like a lizard and a panglin.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Penglin. Am I saying that I? A pangolin? A pangolin? Yeah, because those are trafficked a lot. Like, it's a huge thing. I think like in Vietnam or another certain,
Starting point is 00:17:11 The pangolin. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like a scaly. It's almost looks like a sloth with scales. It's like an an eater sloth armadillo combo. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're tracking. Yeah, they're known as scaly and eaters.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Yeah. But anyway, people, they traffic those, people's eating them. They were saying that that's how the thing was moving. So back to Fauci's diary, I clearly remember that being happening at the seafood market, but not being the origin. they were saying that it was because the animal was given it to humans. What happened with the bat? Well, I think they're saying it passed from that situation into humans.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Okay. Because I remember the bat being involved. Like, I remember that conversation, but I remember specifically people focusing on the damn bats. But I know there was some sort of seafood market thing in there, right? Like, I remember that, but. But I also people, I remember people learning new information all the time. Right. Like you guys, it's research.
Starting point is 00:18:13 You got to figure out where things come from and information changes the daily. But remember, Laura, there is the gain of function research thing, right, that is at the root of this whole combo, which I learned about through this process, right? Which is, obviously I'm not a scientist, don't know scientific procedures and things like that, don't know what world scientists do collectively to prevent, you know what I'm saying. people were upset and I want to give it rightfully so because they don't understand how things work to learn
Starting point is 00:18:47 that our government funds research all around the globe with other scientists from other governments where they have identified a virus okay
Starting point is 00:19:00 and they create an environment for that virus to mutate so that they can gain function to understand what the virus would do in a real world scenario so that they can create protocols and vaccines. And vaccines so that we don't die is the way I understand. And so there was this blowback against Fauci because his, I guess. So they're saying this research, because they were doing this research, something had leaked
Starting point is 00:19:34 from the lab and he is covering up the fact that that. research leaked from the lab that caused the whole COVID. Right. Right. But I distinctly remember him saying that I remember him sitting in front of Congress talking about gain of function research and how it works. Right. So I don't recall him covering anything up.
Starting point is 00:19:56 No, but Rand Paul is insistent on it. This is why. And this is the whole thing. He's insistent on it saying he's covering this up. There's proof that he's covering this up. It's a lab lab leak where Fauci is denying. the whole thing. He's like, this is not a lab leak.
Starting point is 00:20:11 They're not going to stop. They're not going to stop until that man is arrested. Well, no. They've been trying to do this for years. Remember, you have two things. You have, everybody was locked down. People lost money because of COVID and everything like that. People die, bro. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And then you also have Trump and his end where the reason, big reason he lost the election was because of COVID-19. Well, yeah. And there's also where we sit today where they can use this story. story as a distraction tactic away from Iran because remember just the other day Netanyahu was in a 90-minute meeting with Trump. Nobody knows what the meeting was about. Trump is clearly upset with Netanyahu. Mainstream news coverage is covering that Trump doesn't know how to get out of this Iran situation.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Netanyahu doesn't know how to get out of this or doesn't want to get out of this Iran situation. And the midterms are on the way in 8, 12 weeks, 12 weeks, November. We're in November. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's 14, whatever. That's one of the few issues that unifies both conservatives and liberals. What's that? COVID or Iran.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Oh, yeah, Iran. Iran. So I honest, look, is there more to learn from the Fauci and COVID? I think absolutely. Sure. I think there, is this a way we're going to. learn from it doesn't look like it um but you know i once again clearly not a scientist yeah um i haven't heard from actual scientists that the way covid was handled by scientists trying to find
Starting point is 00:21:57 solutions was problematic most of the people that find problem with covid are you know internet individuals who aren't working in this space and in this world. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or people who have a political agenda, which, you know, some people claim scientists have political agendas. Right. We can get into however you want to get into it. But I know for sure that going into COVID,
Starting point is 00:22:27 I clearly remember no one actually knew how to get us to fuck out of it. Of course. I don't get us the hell out of that. Of course. Nobody. Bro, and even we as Americans, like, the fight to wear a mask or not? Like, what do we even talking about? People didn't even want to do the most basic things to protect themselves.
Starting point is 00:22:49 But listen, delivering Fauci on a silver platter, getting him arrested would be a win for his base. So it is a distraction. Well, yeah, and think about that. So we couldn't even wear masks to protect each other. So then they mandated and people lost this shit. So you mean to tell me that y'all was going to really understand what gain of function research was And the fact that we actually spend money with countries that we allegedly don't get along with To try to like make sure people don't die from virus outbreaks that that was going to go over well with the American population and they were just supposed to sit there and explain to you guys how science works and you guys you couldn't wear a mask bro
Starting point is 00:23:32 It's it something as simple as wearing a mask you couldn't do that because it was violating your rights. That's right. So. Oh, and then when they went mandated the Vax on your ass, woo. Nah, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Yo, y'all was out, y'all out here slugging big gulps and slurping on twinkies and taking glizzies to the face. You don't know what is in that shit, y'all eat. And look where we're at now, though. Yeah. Every time, you, I don't know about y'all, but every time I open Instagram, there's a new recall.
Starting point is 00:24:04 There's a new recall on edge. on the lettuce is still, you know, giving you explosive diarrhea, the berries, the cilantro, the basil. Like, I was like, what the, what are we going to be able to eat? And then more and more, you read about these donations, you know what I mean, or visits that will stall certain recall. So it's okay if millions of people get sick until we figure this out because we don't want it to affect our branding. Measles is at the highest rate in 30 plus years. Well, because it's vaccines. Measles.
Starting point is 00:24:37 It's vaccines. Yeah, measles. Well, meanwhile, go to clip 13 for me there, Baskill. I don't know if you guys missed this story. I was going to save this for things we miss for tomorrow, but we throw this up. Tonight, the mom who said the flu shot killed both of her 18-month-old twins. She spoke out against vaccines. Tonight, she's now facing murder charges.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Here's Melissa Adon. Tonight, an Idaho mother who once appeared on an anti-vaccine podcast blaming flu shots for the deaths of her 18-month-old twins now charged with murder. 23-year-old Andrea Shaw is accused of suffocating her twins, Dallas and Tyson, last year, after she called 911, claiming she found them dead in a shared bed. Police were suspicious from the start. Obviously, it's extremely unusual for two infants to be found deceased and be believed to have passed at the same time. Just days later, Shaw and her husband went on this show run by children, health defense linking the twins death to the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Shaw said police didn't buy her story. It made me feel crazy. I because I was telling them that, you know, my truth and they were getting into my head that I had done it. And I know I hadn't. Medical experts warn groups like this one spread disinformation, pointing out childhood vaccines have been widely studied and are considered safe with no evidence linking them to suffocation or sudden death.
Starting point is 00:26:03 David Shaw was arrested five days after giving birth to a third child. She's not entered a plea and her lawyer says she's innocent. Now, if convicted in Idaho, she could face life in prison or the death penalty by firing squad. David. Melissa, done with us tonight. They still do the firing squad in Idaho? Bro, that's new to me. I didn't even know that, bro.
Starting point is 00:26:24 That's a whole other news segment. What? I didn't know that Idaho was still out here lining people up and shooting them. That's wild. Did y'all know that? No, no. I mean, that woman killed her kids. I mean, she deserves whatever she gets.
Starting point is 00:26:39 I'm just shocked that that's even an option. Wild. So, and I show you all that because, listen, there's a lot of things to not trust about big pharma corporations, a lot of things. So I'm not going to give you all that. You know, I'm not going to disagree with you all on that. But sewing this level of distrust in our institutions has financial gains for
Starting point is 00:27:12 podcasts and people who are just not professionals. Yeah. Yeah. And listen, anytime you hear about a drug or your doctor, you know, prescribes a drug or you see the commercials on television, when you go and look at the research that went into getting,
Starting point is 00:27:35 FDA approval for that drug, there are people who die. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. Facts. Yes. And because nothing is one size fits all. That's right.
Starting point is 00:27:47 As a human being, we are not made the same. I'm allergic to something that he's not. Like, somebody can die from a peanut. How about this? The other person can. When you go get surgery, whether you're getting plastic surgery or a life saving surgery you need, you sign a document that says you might die and they're not going to be responsible for it.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Correct. Yes. You think not everyone can handle anesthesia. That's another thing. Well, not everybody's healthy enough, right? Or has been to, look, even during COVID, bro, there were people who hadn't been to the doctor. I can't tell you when they'd be like,
Starting point is 00:28:29 no, I was perfectly healthy. When was the last time you had actually gone to the doctor though, bro? Yeah. And people think just because you haven't been to the hospital on some crazy, you know, whatever you were suffering, you're overweight, you smoke, your diet is crazy. Like that alone opens you up to the most horrible things. Like you are that candidate. You are that person that could die.
Starting point is 00:28:54 But, you know, it blows my mind and it hurts my head every time I try to like watch these stories and see how people are like, no, this happened because of the flu shot. Well, and it should be noted. Issa's vaccines, Salasi's vaccines. I don't know what you ended up doing, Kinsen, I don't know what you ended up doing, actually I do know what you ended up doing,
Starting point is 00:29:14 Kinsen. Because I gave you Issa's vaccine schedule. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't allow him to give Esa a bunch of vaccines before she left the hospital. Yeah, I spaced him out. Like, there was one mandatory vaccine. They were like, you state says you got to take this one.
Starting point is 00:29:26 I was like, all, we'll do that one. I worked with my pediatrician, and we put together an actual schedule that spaced things out over time, because in my brain, I'm like, yo, she hasn't even had oxygen long enough for y'all to be putting other things of her body yet. Let's just, she hasn't even eating food yet. Can we, you know, do this over an extended period of time? Does it have to be five, four, three vaccines at one time?
Starting point is 00:29:52 Can we, you know. And I think as parents, you should know that you can do that. You have every right to talk to your pediatrician about what you want to do. I had a pediatrician that looked at me like I was crazy. And I was like, yeah. I left. I was like, I'm not coming back to you. And then I had a younger pediatrician.
Starting point is 00:30:07 And I used the word because younger is because the first pediatrician was super old. And I could tell you was probably old school. But she was absolutely we can do that. She was like, there's no problem. And then she gave me the precautions. Hey, for this one, if you're going to wait on this one, you probably shouldn't be around people until it's done. But that's why it's called working with your pediatrician.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Yeah, no doubt. I got all the vaccines. I just, it took me a little longer. And then the other part of it, which I find interesting is, most people don't even know what vaccines they got when they were born I still my mom had a file for me you know my mom was dumb organized I still have my vaccine card from when I was born and and the vaccines that they gave me when I was born yeah I think you know what I mean but so you while yes COVID vaccine was new people didn't trust it we didn't know the long term I think all
Starting point is 00:30:56 of that is a valid yes concern long term effects it was you know all of this stuff is valid. I'm not, you know, and being fearful of it is valid also. Um, but the whole like, all vaccines are bad. I can't go there with y'all. I'm not there. I can't. I can't. I'm not, I'm not there with y'all. But I, but I do think that anytime the environment's changing, the, the, the, the, the pollination of flowers and foods, the amount of allergies people are having the different food. I think all of this stuff is valid concerns. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:35 It's all valid concerns for sure. And yeah, so the Fauci thing was yesterday. Let's get into the rundown. Run down. Laura Stows. Laura got the run down. Turn that up. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Headlines heavy, but we still cut up. Light still flashing. We don't slow up. Now, you know, Usher has been a trending topic for a minute. You know, there was a young lady who went up on stage and did a go with the the skit that he puts on. And then she went on to do a bunch of interviews.
Starting point is 00:32:06 And it just got. She was hot out here. Yeah, I didn't like her. I don't like her. I didn't like her. Because it's kind of like she's like, what do do do when I got on stage? Be entertaining.
Starting point is 00:32:16 I mean, you know what you're going to do when they bring you up there. And then this whole like pretty, pretty privileges, not. Yeah. Shut the F up, bro. It was a lot. It was a lot. It was a lot. Not only that.
Starting point is 00:32:29 But then come. to find out she was hoping to be up there with Chris Brown yeah yeah that was the real issue yes yes but like bro you're on stage man they're doing a show bro you don't like what are you doing all right well this is the video you like the face yeah it's bad I don't think she want to be on the stage huh shout to usher she won't be up here she's not trying to pull on a show for y'all he like beat it you do it though you don't want to be up here one why even go up there if you know what
Starting point is 00:33:14 because she wanted to go out and do interviews and be hot out here and I saw her mom uh aunt and some other people on social media trying to like cape for her all y'all sound dumb bro it's supposed to be fun we're supposed to be putting on entertaining the the audience or don't go on stage yes that's why I see it too but here's uh well here's usher a couple days later. I just hate whack motherfuckers, man. Like, just don't be whack. Like, if you don't want to party, you don't want to kicky, you don't have fun,
Starting point is 00:35:17 don't make yourself the center of attention. Yeah, just move out the way. Move out the way. But if you up here and you're still going to be whacked, right, right, right, right. Like I said. So in other news, another movie news, so it looks like Disney has met with McCulley Culkin about a new Home Alone movie.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Look, his pitch for the film is that, Kevin is a single dad who gets locked out of the house by his estranged son. And the house becomes like a metaphor for their relationship. But let's see if this really happened. I'm into it. I'm into it. I'm into it. Rassan?
Starting point is 00:35:56 I'm excited. Big home alone fan. Look, I didn't like Home Alone 3. Big Home Alone fan. But yeah, when they got to the other ones that didn't have McCulley in it, they got a little loose. Yeah, I never made it to three, but I did what in two. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:11 So let's see how that goes. All right. Yo. McColley back. Yeah. In other movie news, Michael B. Jordan is starring in Thomas, the Thomas Crown Affair. Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. Now we, now we have a real adult conversation.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Y, I'm talking about Home Alone. Yo, grow up, B. We like Hope Alone. No, nobody wants to see that at 50 years old, bro. Everyone here is happy except you. You're such a grunt. No, I didn't like it when it first came. I didn't care when it came out.
Starting point is 00:36:39 What year did it come out? Gromp. 89. 89. 89. 90. I was outside. I was 15.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I wasn't watching a goddamn home alone. The second was 93. It was so fun. I was not watching that at 18. Corny. Beat it. Oh my God. Bye.
Starting point is 00:36:52 But anyway, yes, Michael B. Jordan is back with this one. I saw the teaser trailer. I don't think we can play it. Why? Because I think we will get... Well, we get flagged for playing a trailer? I think the trailer's clean.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Okay. Play the trailer. Let's go. It looks good. I've been taking risks my entire life. But last night, it was different. I felt alive.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I was scared. My heart was racing. Every step was part of a plan. Things slowed down. It was silent. And I was surprised how easy it was.
Starting point is 00:37:49 But I'm not finished yet. That's what excites me. They come over and introduce myself. Thomas Crown. I know exactly who you are. Let's go! No. Can't catch me.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Fire. Y'all talking at home alone bullshit. Let's focus. I believe it's like he steals this piece of art and falls in love with the woman. I mean, if it's Thomas Crown, y'all, y'all never seen the last, the ones that you, what was the guy's name? Pierce Brosnan. Y'all don't remember Thomas Crown Affairs? I think it was just one.
Starting point is 00:38:45 I don't know if it was a sequel. But if, yo, I don't know what's happening here. But this isn't just a one-off, gang. This is your man Michael B. Jordan moving into a whole other... Well, maybe IP. Let's go. Because remember, Creed is his. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yes. That whole thing, his. Cougler, sinners, wherever that goes, he owns all of that, bro. So whatever the sequels, the offshoots, the forever. I think I don't know this is gonna be good though and Cougar's directing this one as well right it said directed by the director of Creed so yeah I didn't see his name I didn't see his name in the credits though yeah unless it's Michael B. Jordan's directing and acting did Michael B. Jordan direct any of the
Starting point is 00:39:48 creed one of the so maybe that's what I think Couglas class all somebody's in online that like every movie Couglas had he's had Michael as his leading Or at least in it in some way. I'm here. Yep, yep, yeah. I'm here for it. I'm all off this. What about the other trailer I was talking about?
Starting point is 00:40:08 I sent over Erescia, what is it? Blood and Bone. Oh, that's the one with a controversy. You got that trailer? I got to go. I got to catch his flight to Dallas, too. And by the way, is Michael B. Oh, it is him.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Okay, okay, okay. Yeah. I'm here. This whole family going to see. This is one. You must not be afraid. So it was based on a book with the same name. Misha was once a land where magic flowed through our people.
Starting point is 00:40:40 You were born with a gift greater than you know. But those who feared our power took it away from us. Your powers may be gone. But that does not change who you are. Magic is a festering disease. Purg it! Heed my words. You are the future king.
Starting point is 00:41:22 What if that is not the kind of king? I want to be. For years, I have trained you. Because I believe you are the one. You can bring magic back. You go around here. Look around it's me and my group Big energy
Starting point is 00:41:56 Energy got you all in your feelings Big energy They're looking to you to lead them She has the ability to annihilates us all Big energy She has the ability to annihilates us all Big energy You have unrolled me
Starting point is 00:42:26 I'm in here, you know that What's my type of carrying on I'm shot to Africa You must strike For these years we believe We believe the gods that are turned on those. Oh, my child. So I read up on the controversy.
Starting point is 00:43:08 I didn't know there was controversy around. First, that's fire. We all going. It's mandatory. If you watch an ELR and you don't go, we're going to block you. So you won't be allowed to watch the program any further. Same with Thomas Crown Affair, by the way. But the controversy was around Amanda Stendman.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Burgers, I think is how you pronounce her last name. Yeah. According to the internet, the author, okay, um, had a problem with her being light skin. Because the character that is in the book had, you know, uh, uh, was a dark copper according to the description of her in the book. And so, um, the author had an issue is the author's issue. So there's some colorism.
Starting point is 00:44:01 issues here and I guess there was some sort of back and forth between the directors, producers. I don't know. The author was basically like her name, you know, the author is, um, Adyemi is her last name. Tommy Adyemi is. Tommy Adyemi. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:19 So, um, but at any rate, um, yeah, here we are with the colorism, the complexion and identity of a character and a fictional, um, um, story. However, you know, West Africa is a real place where this takes place. I think this is based, supposedly based in West Africa. But there are like,
Starting point is 00:44:43 complicated people in West Africa. So, but at any rate, look, the author could say what they want to say, people are going to say what they want to say, that shit looks fine. It looks really good.
Starting point is 00:44:52 But that's the only controversy, right, that we know of around that. That's the only one that I saw. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But yep, that's the rundown guys. There you go. Intro as the outro. And I got to go.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Headlines heavy, but we still cut up. Light still flashing, we don't show up. And show out, show. Let's go. Sorry, gang. Are we back on it tomorrow? But obviously, we pre-recorded that. So if you catch the tomorrow's stuff, it'll be pre-take.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Because I got to catch this flight. But lock in for it. And then we back on it Monday morning live. 8 a.m. That's right. We'll see you then. Peace, God, peace. Just don't call in a podcast.
