Yeah, man.
Shout to everybody.
Check the Patreon yesterday with Daz and Corrupt.
Everybody tuned in on Family Friday this week.
Rhapsody is on.
Ebro and Laura, Rosenberg's assignment.
Go watch your damn kid.
need to go to work.
Now, the Rosenberg's
had a scheduling thing, so, you know what I mean?
Rosenberg had to stand down, stay
home while the wife go
go make some bread.
Yes, yes, yes, yes. I love hearing that.
Listen, man, it's real things on this program. Real family things happen.
Yeah. You know what I mean? You got to call in sometimes
because your partner
got to get to the bag. Yeah.
I love that. I love that for us. She supports him
all the time, so it's right. You know, now
he has to do it back. I love that for us.
Another big story you brought earlier
Laura Stoules was, and we saw this a while ago with Ben and Jerry's.
Yeah.
And I think all of this is coming out because of the McClermar situation, right?
It's about people being silent.
So here's an interesting video for you guys to check out.
It's with a broken heart that I've decided I can no longer in good conscience and after 47 years
remain an employee of Ben and Jerry's.
I am resigning from the company.
Ben and I started back in 1978.
This is one of the hardest and most painful decisions I've ever made.
Yes.
This isn't because I've lost my love for the people at Ben & Jerry's, quite the opposite.
They're the soul of Ben and Jerry's.
What has made their work so important to me,
and what allowed the company to be more than just an ice cream company,
was the independence to pursue our values,
which was guaranteed when Unilever bought the company.
company. For more than 20 years under their ownership, Ben and Jerry stood up and spoke out in
support of peace, justice, and human rights. It's profoundly disappointing to come to the conclusion
that that independence, the very basis of our sale to Unilever, is gone. And it's happening
at a time when our country's current administration is attacking civil rights, voting rights,
the rights of immigrants, women, and the LGBT community.
Standing up for the values of justice, equity, and our shared humanity
has never been more important.
And yet Ben and Jerry's has been silenced,
sidelined for fear of upsetting those in power.
It's easy to stand up and speak out when there's nothing at stake.
The real test of values is when times are challenging
and you have something to lose.
It was always about more than just ice cream.
It was a way to spread love and invite others
into the fight for equity, justice, and a better world.
Coming to the conclusion that this is no longer possible at Ben and Jerry's
means I can no longer remain a part of Ben and Jerry's.
If I can't carry those values forward inside the company today,
then I will carry them forward outside.
with all the love and conviction I can.
There you go.
And that's Jerry of Ben and Jerry's.
You could follow Yo Ben Cohen,
who is co-founder of Ben and Jerry's.
That's Ben.
Yeah, that's Ben of Ben and Jerry's.
But he's been outspoken and supportive of Free Palestine.
He, you know, these guys are on the right side of history.
Yeah.
I mean, listen, he reposted this video.
And in the caption, he basically says that Ben and Jerry's
is still unwilling to call the Trump administration out by name.
And it's what Unilever and Magnum has done to Ben & Jerry's.
It's a brand established with values and purpose.
And they've ignored Jerry's warning and proved his point.
Unilever and Magnum is on course to destroy the Ben & Jerry's brand.
So they have been in this fight for years now.
They'll get the brand back.
They got, I think, you know, between these two and, you know, where things are going.
I know it's a scary time right now.
But a brand like Ben and Jerry's, you know, like we could all activate and not support what Ben and Jerry's is currently.
And I think that's the right thing to do.
Buy another ice cream.
But see, it's complicated because I also saw a piece that Ben was like there's a lot of people who work at Ben and Jerry's that still hold those values.
And that's how they feed their family.
So he is not on some like, don't buy the ice cream.
He just wants to hold Unilever and Magnum accountable, which is tricky because.
because they only care about money.
You know what I mean?
And the only way to hurt them
is by hurting pockets.
And they're also worried about
the community and all the employees
that will suffer.
I mean, look, Ed Shearing tried to do the same thing.
Yeah.
And then the world came down
on Ed Shearing the other day
because his position,
but I guess it's different
because Ed Sheeran wasn't taking a position
to support and be outspoken
and was actually trying to say
he didn't want to take a position.
Oh, yeah.
That's why he got fraud.
So it is a little different
in that regard
because he supported it was outspoken about Ukraine.
He's been outspoken about other things.
Brexit.
And then when it came to say free Palestine
and support Palestinians and support McLemore,
he didn't want to say that.
And then also it came up that he has a good relationship
with Robert Kraft.
I mean, he performed at his wedding.
So all of that started coming out too.
Yeah, well, that's why I guess Rosenberg hit him with the
relations.
You plagued yourself.
Here locally, Mom, Don,
the Don Mom Don in Mom Donistan.
What do you think about these policies?
Post this tweet.
Let's see.
Let's see.
This was the other day.
This is about safer streets.
A hundred new policies to make our streets safer over the next 10 years.
All right.
Redesigning our most dangerous streets.
Regulating delivery apps.
Good.
Lowering speed limits where children play.
Upgrading 1,000 intersections every year.
year, cracking down on dangerous drivers and super speeders, improving our streetlights, building
safe, beautiful public spaces.
I don't see anything wrong with this.
Yeah.
Did people try to make an issue out of this?
I think this is all very positive.
You know, Mom, Donnie can't do anything with people, without people, you know, especially
on Twitter.
I'm not on Twitter.
Rosenberg sent that into the group chat.
I didn't click the link to go.
to the comments section because I'm sure there's people
in that comment section that are going to find
a problem with Mom Donnie like they always do.
They always do. So, but I
think this is all great. Look, our man is
delivering. At least right now, everything
that he's presenting is so far
good. He's not above criticism, but
I think all these things are positive. Next, he's going to
have to deal with people buying peptides at
bodegas. Bro, it's getting so
crazy. I didn't know you could buy
peptides at a bodega. You can buy
peptides at a bodega. You can buy
it online. I knew about that.
media. I know about that. People are just buying it off a TikTok like it's safe. And their whole
thing is like, this is what the pharmaceutical companies don't want. Well, gosh, guys, guys,
guys. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I know we don't trust Big Pharma. And I know we have
lost trust in many institutions. What we're not going to do is just start trusting, injecting
things into our body, just loosey-goosey from the internet, though? It's absolutely. Or off Instagram?
Insane.
Nah, bro.
Watch this.
Remember the peptides for sale in New York bodegas that went viral this summer?
Well, why I bought them and we sent them to a lab?
And the results were alarming.
Backing up for a moment though, what are peptides?
They're a broad class of amino acids that are hyped for helping with everything from weight loss to injury recovery.
Endorsements from people like RFK Jr. and Joe Rogan have made them explode in popularity in recent years.
Now, some of the buzziest peptides have unproven health benefits, and they haven't gone
through the usual regulatory process use for drugs, which means they are not legal
to sell for human consumption in the U.S. yet.
That hasn't stopped people from buying what are known as research use-only peptides, which
aren't actually supposed to be ingested by humans, and taking them anyways.
Those are the kinds of peptides we found at a bodega called Mr. Green in Brooklyn.
And they weren't cheap.
We spent just over $375 on four varieties of these injectable peptides this past June.
They all came from a company called INDR Labs.
We sent them to Finrik, a startup that offers independent peptide tax.
testing because we wanted to know, first of all, whether they were real, and if they had anything
contaminating them or making them dangerous.
We waited for the results, and in August they came back.
The good news is our samples contained low levels of heavy metals and endotoxins, meaning they probably, hopefully, weren't harmful.
The bad news was they also weren't the peptides they purported to be.
Tests found that none of the substances contained the active ingredients on their labels.
It's possible, maybe they were incorrectly labeled, or maybe they degraded because of improper storage.
We don't know.
We also don't know what they contain because the labs only tested for the presence of what should have been there.
INDR Labs did not respond to our request for comment.
And shortly after we reached out, they password protected their website.
What does this all mean and why does it matter?
It's because basically anyone can open a peptide business these days and it's really easy to buy this kind of product online and in stores.
I&R Labs is just one small part of a booming ecosystem that is worth up to an estimated $3 billion.
And while the FDA has taken steps to loosen regulations and more mainstream telehealth platforms,
are preparing to sell peptides.
Right now, people who take these substances are largely purchasing them through questionable channels.
One industry expert told us bluntly that the FDA needs to shut down these black markets.
Read our full story at wire.com.
Absolutely.
I told you guys a few weeks ago, my doctor gave me peptides from my arthritis on my right knee on my way to surgery.
And it worked.
Yeah.
Anti-inflammatory.
It was called PBC-157.
Yeah, but these are peptides that your doctor's specific.
gave to you because of what you need.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I'm telling you, the weight loss craze, the, I think people use peptides also, like,
I don't know if it's with or instead of steroids, you know what I mean?
Oh, well, that's like HGH and like, what's the other, they got something else.
Whatever that is.
So there's different reasons, but I believe that the most popular ones are, ones promoting
weight loss and one promoting, like, bulking up.
And people are just buying them anywhere.
that you can get in a damn old day that is so wild.
If you go in and copy yourself a lottery ticket and some peptides, that's a problem.
But it's a problem that's happening.
If you buy peptides from somebody who's behind bulletproof plexiglass and they slide it through
a thing, it's a problem.
You got to know you're not supposed to be injecting that.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
It's beyond.
But Louis, didn't you tell me that you got a list of peptides?
Oh, yeah.
of a bunch of different peptides for different things.
No, no, no, there's tons of peptides.
But in some countries, that's, you know, that's a legitimate government regulated thing.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like the FDA, and, you know, obviously we've learned in this most recent government cycle
of the last 10 years that the people that can get appointed to some of these government
agencies are also not credible individuals.
like FDR or not FDR, RFK, RFK, RFK, Jr., specifically.
He has no science credentials whatsoever, and they have fired a lot of the scientists and
credible people that were at a lot of these research labs around the country.
So there's a lot of questions.
and I do believe you guys would be better off trusting your doctor,
if you have a good one, hopefully,
then you would be trusting Instagram.
I mean, you would think,
but we're at a time where people don't even trust pharmaceutical companies.
They don't trust their doctors.
They feel like they're just getting pushed, you know, unnecessary poisons,
but then they're okay going to a bodega to get a,
A rando peptide.
Yo, won't take a vaccine, but it'll be like,
yo, when you down there picking up some ports for me,
pick me up, uh,
pick me up some injectables.
Yeah.
No, to me, the maha movement women who are so anti-vaccines
and have a face full of fillers and Botox and God knows what.
But yeah, they don't want any poison in their body.
You plagued yourself.
Nah, let's get to the rundown, Laura Stow.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Got the run down, turn that up.
Screen's on glow when she pulled up.
That's funny, bro.
But we still cut up.
Life still flashing.
We don't slow up.
Now Chris Brown is responding to the backlash that he got.
When Jasmine Crockett, you know,
honored him on stage in Texas during the tour with Usher.
So Jasmine Crockett was getting a bunch of backlash,
and so did everyone else that was on stage with her.
But Chris Brown put out the stage.
and he says, the funny thing is, y'all came to me with this.
That's right.
Not the other way around.
I was minding my damn business.
My shows in Dallas were already sold out.
I didn't ask to be honored because I knew some ish like this would happen.
And Vinton Jones, who was the other state representative that had to, that basically
apologized for doing it, immediately started tap dancing and apologizing because he didn't
want to lose voters and support.
I have a great idea.
How about y'all leave me?
the F alone and let me focus on my fans that spent their money to actually see and support me.
I mean, I think what Chris is saying is valid.
Like this got turned into a whole thing that also too, if you're Chris Brown, like I'm
chilling, I'm doing my tours, like whatever.
This dredges up all of the old news stories.
I know.
I know.
I mean, listen.
He's had no, there's been no nothing.
He's just, it's all been like, yo, the Chris Brown usher arms.
Beat tour is great.
Yo, Chris Brown got a new album.
It's all good.
Like, there's been no controversy.
He's not wrong.
He's chilling.
He's not wrong.
They came to him.
And now all this is happening, so.
Damn.
Yeah, yeah.
This is horrible.
I saw this popping up.
So an NBC, Los Angeles News helicopter crashed while
covering a deadly bus collision that killed three people.
So imagine the helicopter in Los Angeles
is reporting this.
And then the helicopter itself goes down in a parking lot and caught fire.
They're saying that at least one person killed was on the ground, two others that were
hospitalized.
So someone was killed from the helicopter going down?
Yes.
Two people were killed.
Yes.
And also more people were killed in the bus crash.
Yes.
Yes.
So Eliana Moreno and George Marciini were the victims of the news helicopter crash in
Los Angeles.
NBC New York put up a post remembering them.
this is horrible you're doing your job reporting the news and then another accident and now they have to report not only on the victims of the horrible bus accident but your co-workers that passed away oh my god what a mess bro that is so oh it's horrible it's horrible um in other news uh Colin Kaepernick book is out we haven't even talked about that
get your Colin Kaepernick book yeah it's nice to see Colin moving around doing interviews yeah I love it yeah we covered this conversation with
with Jamel Hill. I think who do you have another one?
He was with our girl Nicole Hannah Jones at the Brooklyn Library this week.
I think we have a, I don't know, like a recap vid, right?
Yeah, from Know Your Rights.
We are at our second book tour stop.
We're here in Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Public Library.
I'm very grateful to be here with all of you today.
What I hope with the memoir is something that other people can take and be able to learn from.
I hope everybody has a sense of hearing that calling, answering it, and being able to take it further.
And I hope through this memoir, they're able to gather some of the insights of what may help them get there,
but also help them navigate what's on the other side of it.
We paid the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
We appreciate you.
We honor you.
I have enjoyed that you stood up for our rights, man.
You're the best.
We love you.
Keep doing what you do, man.
You show, though, as always.
Yo, listen,
perilous fight.
Get the book.
Colin Cap, shout to the old,
know your rights family.
We have so much love for them.
Man, it must feel,
after everything Kaepernick went through.
And, you know, I never forget, man.
When you first started taking a knee,
it wasn't a story, man.
It was like three weeks.
Yeah.
Because I remember,
we were talking about it.
And there,
and there has been times
in the NFL
where players
have either not come out
during the national anthem
or were sit,
just would sit on the,
the bench.
Like that's happened before.
And was happening even while Cap
was doing this. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know
saying? And then
a reporter picked up on it
and it became a story and Cap talked about
talking to servicemen.
Yeah.
And like, you know, having this, like the right way to protest.
I think that's the part that gets lost a lot and people forget because they use Colin
kneeling as disrespect.
Right.
But he actually went to veterans and servicemen, like you said, and asked what is the proper
way to do this?
And they advised them to do it this way.
Yeah.
So I think that specific part gets lost a lot, Ebro.
Well, and people forget that Tim Tebow used to take a knee, but it was religious and it was
all good. It's fine. I didn't know that. Tim Tebow took a knee during the national anthem under the
guise of I'm praying. Oh, wow. Yeah. And that was just like, okay. But a black man with an
afro, you better stand your black ass up. Because that's the real sentiment. It is. It is. The real
sentiment is specifically like, yo, oh, you're trying to, you're trying to, you're trying to, you're trying
to galvanize black people.
You're trying to hold police accountable.
You're wearing an Afro.
They, ah, man, I sent them around the bin and I loved every minute of it.
Yeah.
I loved every minute of it.
And shout out to Eric Reed.
He supported him also.
He was by his side the whole time also kneeling and protesting.
Well, and shout to San Francisco 49ers, who people forget, donated money, were in full
support of Colin Kaepernick.
kneeling like wasn't a thing.
Also shout to Nike
who continues to support Colin Kaepernick
and stood by him through the whole thing.
Like that was a thing too.
It was really the collusion
of the other NFL owners
when he went and continued to try to play
that they didn't want to give him
the opportunity to play.
And for those of you that watch football,
you know there are people with
jobs in the NFL as backups or otherwise.
That ain't got no business being on a football team.
Cap took the 49ers to a Super Bowl.
Yeah, the whole thing is so hard.
And then all of a sudden, he has a couple of injuries, has a bad season, and it's like,
ah, nah, he trash.
He couldn't play.
That's bullshit.
Y'all know that was bullshit.
Y'all know what this really was about.
and I'm going to keep bringing this up.
Based on what we see happening right now with the silencing of Macklemore, okay,
and elites and billionaires and government officials calling and making sure people don't have a voice,
don't have a job, don't have a platform.
What kind of phone calls do you think we're moving around when Colin Kaepernick was taking a knee
and it was an international incident.
Brough.
Yo, your man's jersey was the number one selling football jersey.
They made money on it.
Yeah, yes.
Yep, yep.
The president of the United States,
didn't Trump call him a son of a bitch?
Yeah.
Nah, bro.
You got, yo, don't forget.
It was certain shit.
That's like, nah.
And you have to keep this in your brain, fam.
If McLemore, an opening act on an Ed Shearing show in New Jersey said something.
And they got together and were like, he can't be on the door.
The owners of the stadiums, imagine the phone calls they was making when Kaepernick was
taking the knee.
Yo, those zooms?
Zoom, Zoom.
I don't even, Zoom wasn't even popping.
Yeah.
Those FaceTime.
Bro, you know, these were straight calls, man.
Oh, my God.
They're like, yeah, we're not having this.
Nah, man.
There's no way.
There's no way you can sit at your crib right now and think that what we're seeing
right now hasn't been happening for forever.
Where powerful individuals are colluding to silence people that might be jeopardized.
the power structure.
That's really...
Never forget that.
Please don't forget that.
Yeah, that's why it's important
that we see Colin.
Because, you know, he didn't talk for a long time.
He wasn't camera facing.
You maybe got a quote here and there.
So I think it's super important
for people to hear him and see him
and basically remind people
of everything he went through
because a lot of people forgot that part.
They forgot fast.
Yeah.
And there's always a lot of other noise.
Once again,
which I think is,
drummed up how you said drummed up drummed up by the machine to try to divert away from the
real policy if y'all yeah if you listen to ebro and laura roland rozenberg back at that time me and
rosenberg and shodney culture used to argue they would be like yo his message is really convoluted
i'll be like no it's not well what does he want people to do he wants people to either a not watch football
anymore or B, just support him. That was it. Everyone else made it into a, well, what am I supposed
to do? I can't watch football. I can't not watch football. I can't do this. Oh, no, he wasn't good.
It was all this other noise. And if you are seeing anything right now, what always happens?
Distraction, more noise, which convolutes the issue, confuses individuals. And then individuals
like, I'm not giving up my Sunday. He was calling for accountability.
Police accountability from the police.
The strike only really happened after he wasn't getting a job.
Individuals not wanting to watch football,
which forced them, by the way,
into hiring black women to be a part of NFL marketing
and doing more in community,
forced them into, you know, a lot of it was symbolic,
but nonetheless creating a conversation
and seeing words like end racism and all that kind of stuff
on football fields on people's helmets.
that forced an action.
Force players to start organizations and get down into their community.
Force the NFL to address things and also open the door for players.
And I think the NFL Players Association to have to work on behalf of players so that they can have a voice.
Not only around their community, but also even around shit like CTE, which is super controversial.
Because the NFL really works to keep those conversations really at a low-mer.
He's a warmer.
Yeah.
Healthcare for players.
Things like that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, yeah, shots of Colin Kaepernick, man.
I'm glad, you know, he's out there.
If he's coming to a sitting there, you go support him.
And I just want to remind you guys, I know your rights.
His whole organization does incredible work in the community.
Yeah.
Like so many things, not only for the youth,
but helps people get suits, you know, for job interviews.
Like, I mean, the list goes on and on and on.
And he continuously funds his organization and does the work.
So big shout out to him.
Is that the rundown?
Yeah.
Laura got the run down turned at the one down.
Who made this?
We need a close.
We need a close.
It's heavy but we still cut up.
Light still flashing.
We don't slow up.
We just need him to do the whoever did it to do a version where it's like Laura had the.
Oh my God.
It's fine.
In the outro.
At this point, it's fine.
We could just leave it like that.
Oh, yo, speaking of,
listen
the ELR hats
have you gotten yours that looks good on
yo how y'all like that
clean it's clean right
got a little tilt
what did you what did you say
you said this is a good well for me you know
it's good like you're running around doing the errands
especially during the weekend
I put it on this weekend it was pretty dope
the ELR hats
it's available right now if you want to cop one
it's still up on our website
but yeah my home girl's like
oh my god it's perfect I shove it in my purse
after the gym, just pop it right on.
Oh, yeah, the gym ladies, they love it.
Yeah.
And then they pull their ponytail through the phone in the back.
Yeah.
And now are we, this, how long we had these?
These have been out for?
Three weeks?
Yeah, three weeks.
And we decided just to keep them because at first they were going to be limited,
but we decided just keep those up there.
So can you, so you can always buy a mug and you can always buy a hat.
Yeah.
We recently switched up the mugs.
Now we're doing black mugs.
Oh, what was goody?
Go online.
And if you're watching right now, right under the YouTube page,
it should be showing right under there, under the description.
So if you're looking for the actual direct link.
So wait, I can't get a free mug is what you're saying.
Yeah, buy a fan.
Why?
Hey, I bought my hat.
Why?
Yo, Laura's running.
Yo, the merch manager don't play.
You got to support the cause, man.
Yo, listen, I work for Apple.
They're the same.
I don't get nothing for free, bro.
Not even the new phone?
No.
You get like a little discount or whatever.
And it's little, little, little.
Yeah, you might get, no, I think you can get like one thing a year maybe like something like that, but no, not at all.
You're not just getting a bunch of free.
So we run it.
Yo, Apple got big bread.
So we're running this like Apple running.
You know what I'm saying?
You want to make money and people got to pay.
Yo, EL Army, go cop a hat, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Leave this on for the rest of the show.
And for those of you who have cop hats keep sending us those photos.
I love seeing, yeah, man.
They've tagged me in some amazing photos at barbecues, on vacation.
It's kind of dope.
Now, Lou, where are we at with subscribers right now?
We're at 81.
80? Oh, we crossed 80,000.
Yeah, yeah, we're at 81.5.
And it's September.
Yep.
So now you were talking to the team about some marketing plans you wanted to blow out here.
Yes.
Are we, what do we have to do to get this going?
Do we need anything from the EL Army or is it just money?
It's just.
It's just money.
I think it's between us now, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, so Lou, so you're.
If people are looking for, how would they know, like, see, would they see us more on YouTube?
Would they see us more on Instagram?
How would it go?
YouTube and Instagram were probably the main two places that they're going to see us.
Okay.
But we ain't got big bread enough to, like, just start throwing up billboards.
Not yet, not yet.
Probably not yet.
I mean?
Not yet.
We have plans, but not yet.
You see Laura's counting the pennies over here.
Laura's not giving away free hats.
She's telling us what we do and don't have.
Choo, chill, chill, show, show.
You see what's going on.
Did we miss anything in the super chat this week, Lou?
Anybody you want to give a shout out to?
No, I think Rosenberg did a very good job
at getting all the super chats this week.
We do need emails.
Ebro-Laul Rosenberg at Gmail.
If you want to send that over.
Oh, wait, because of the gurus and things.
So I was on Patreon.
I was in the comments, like just reading, see,
you know, I like to see the feedback.
Yeah.
And somebody said that we need to do a better job.
But when people send in their videos
of not like cracking on them,
they're like, you see.
this is why we're scared to send videos
because they were like,
I guess we were cracking jokes on somebody.
I don't remember,
but they're like,
this is why we're scared to send videos.
Understandable.
No, when you say we,
do you actually mean Rosenberg?
Well, remember the shirtless guy?
I don't.
Who's the shirtless?
Was he here for shirtless guy?
I don't think he was here for shirtless guy.
Yeah, so it was a guy who sent the video
and he was like completely shirtless,
which.
And Rosenberg had words.
Did he,
but now did he,
had he done the work to be shirtless
or he should have had a shirt on?
You should have had a shirt on.
Should I had a shirt on.
All right, all right.
But, you know, things like that.
So I'm telling you guys, I'm going to try to make sure that people are nice around here
because I want you to continue to send your videos.
That's a tough ass, man.
It's like when somebody's rapping in the movie.
No, hey, by the way, Rosenberg wanted me to tell this story too.
So over the weekend, I pull up to a restaurant and I'm parking a car.
I got the whole family in the car.
Okay.
and before I can even open, like, my door's cracked.
Like, I'm turning to get out the door.
There's a dude standing at the door.
Okay, okay.
Ebro?
And I'm like, you know, I'm a little startled.
Like, so that kind of put me in a bad disposition anyway
because you didn't even give me enough space to like finish getting out the car.
So I'm already on defense of like, yeah, what's up?
Like kind of attitude.
And he's like, oh, well, I, you know.
this might be a bad time but and I'm like yeah I'm with my whole family I got my kids in the car so now
because he can't say what he wants to get to I'm assuming the worst you want to debate me about some
shit I said or you want to you know whatever but he's a seemingly nice guy but that's happened before
and then it starts to turn because you know people start to uh want to get into things so I'm like yeah
I'm with my whole family right and and now's not a
a good time, what you need.
So I'm like now trying to get him to the what you need.
Well, I want to rap for you right now.
I said, you want to rap for me right now while I'm with my whole family?
Like, nah, bro, like, what are we even doing?
What are you doing?
And so Issa has seen me in these situations before so-ass jazz.
And they were like, God, he seemed so nice.
You were so mean to him.
Oh, I thought they were going to be like, babe, we got to go.
No, no, no, they were not supportive.
Gosh.
But they were also like, but we understand why you had attitude
because he barely even let you get out the car.
So at any rate, I was having a conversation with Issa
because I was like, yo, Issa, next time you see me in a bad space,
you got to be good cop.
You got to be like, yo, here, take his email, send him, you know, whatever, whatever.
Because most of the time, and this goes for everybody out.
Rap, I don't make music.
I'm not even like Rosenberg.
I've never put out a compilation.
I can't feature you on a
All I can do is play a song
that you've recorded and I'm going to play it on Apple.
Yeah, but you have to do the work to get it there.
But you have to put it on the streaming service.
So if you just want to rap to me in the street, for what?
There's a lot of people that are great rappers.
They can't make great songs.
There's a lot of people who are terrible rappers
and they can make great songs.
You know what I'm saying?
And so that's just the world we live in.
So at any rate, he was like, oh, my bad.
And then he just kept pushing and we went, Nate.
I run into him again.
Oh.
Leave it.
No, no, no.
This week, just on the block.
Oh, same guy.
Same guy.
He's like, yo, da-da-da-da.
And I was like, yo, my man.
Like, first and foremost, I'd explain to him.
Rapping for me in the moment, like, if you really nice.
Oh, I know.
I did say this to him when we had the first, uh, me, uh, run in.
I said, bro, if you really hot like that, I'm going to hear about you.
Like you don't need to rap for me if you really how I like that I'm here about you.
I kept pushing so then I re- reiterated that to him and then I was also like yo but on some business shit
Ask for an email if you run into anybody in this business in media at a label whatever
You send them your stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah
So that they can review it and support you because we're not in the I'm not gonna I'm not signing rappers
I don't even host a talent show right like you know, like you know, like
you got to know who you're talking to.
So I gave him my email and then I asked him.
I was like, yo, do you even have recorded music?
He was like, nah.
I was like, so you shouldn't even be talking to people.
You should be showing up at, you know, open mic nights and shit.
Just trying to like be seen as a dope rapper and meet other producers.
You as a rapper, find your dope producer who understands what you need as a rapper and can produce you.
Then pay the money.
What is, what is, what are distro kids and all that shit?
Was that 20 bucks?
Yeah.
To upload your song.
And then you get it on the streaming services, all of them.
Then you send that link to the media person, the blogger, the DJ, whatever, and say, hey, yo, check out my shit.
Rapping for people on the street is dead.
It's over, bro.
Unless you meet a producer who's looking for talent or, you know what I'm saying?
Or you meet another rapper and you think they can help you.
get to the studio or give you a feature, that's about it.
But walking up and rapping for me, bro, come on, son.
What are we even doing?
Why is that?
Am I making sense or no?
I'm being a dick.
I mean, to us, no, but I think it's important that people know how this works.
And I think it's very clean what you're doing, explaining to people how you have to do the work.
You know what I mean?
I think people are thinking like, oh, you're going to discover them and then sign them and get them a deal.
I'm like, that's not even what you do.
No.
So.
Well, and also, and people should know.
this too.
No matter how talented you are, okay?
And this goes for anyone, at anything.
If nobody likes you, they're not going to want to work with you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Especially if you're just getting going and you're difficult, you're late,
you don't communicate, you don't know how to be professional, you don't know time and
place.
Muffocuses ain't dealing with that, bro.
Anybody dealing with that?
I know so many people who have lost opportunities because they arrived late constantly.
They just, you know, fumbled their opportunities.
Yeah.
Showed up looking crazy, smelling crazy, not even present.
Hi.
Like, what is wrong with you?
It just shows that you're not serious about the opportunity.
So pay attention.
I really wanted to touch on what New York is doing right now.
They're going after deep fake AI.
And this is super important.
Do we have a video on this?
Let's get to it.
New York is cracking down on AI deep fake porn.
And artificial intelligence just ran into an old-fashioned rule.
Consent is not optional.
The Manhattan District Attorney's Office has seized the domains of 12 websites
accused of distributing and selling AI-generated deep fakes involving approximately 1,200 real people.
The victims were overwhelmingly women, primarily actors, musicians, athletes, politicians,
activists and even influencers.
Their faces and bodies were taken from existing images and transformed into realistic sexual
content they never created approved or participated in.
And these weren't hidden experiments.
I mean, prosecutors say businesses were publishing, distributing, and selling them.
One victim reportedly came forward triggering an investigation that authorities say is only
the beginning and no arrests have been made yet.
But this comes as the federal Take It Down Act is not.
being enforced. The law criminalizes knowingly publishing certain non-consensual intimate
images, including AI deep fakes, and requires covered platforms to remove reported material
and known copies within 48 hours. Taking down 12 domains won't eliminate this entire industry.
The technology is cheap, the sites can move, and new ones will appear. But it establishes
something really important. If you build the tool, host the content,
the fantasy or profit from somebody else's identity, you may be a part of the investigation.
Look, AI can manufacture an image, but it can't manufacture consent.
And even when the picture is fake, the victim and the damage, it's very real.
Story development.
Very.
Yeah.
Well, because in 48 hours, you know how many people can see something?
Hello?
Moving.
Yes.
So there's been cases of, you know, of women who have claimed, like,
an ex or a stalker just took their photos from social media and just created a whole like porn
and most people a couple of artists running this and did Megan a style she might do a deep
thing yes yes yes something was not a thing yes that happened to Megan yes somebody created it and um and a
blogger shared it and i think i forgot who it was but i believe that they she has to pay for that
or at least she won part of like whatever she was suing for but yeah it's a real thing and it happens a lot
So to his point, look, it doesn't mean it's going to stop it forever, but at least it's a step in the right direction.
That's fast.
Do we have the Rosammer, Rosembourg's nine today, but he submitted a video.
Are you ready with that, Rassan?
Yeah.
Because we got a shout out Baskin Lather.
Oh, yes.
And so I use Baskin Lather products.
They have a leave-in conditioner I use on my beard.
They also have an oil that I use, you know, sparingly.
Because when you have a big beard like mine, the oil, you got to, and I had to show Rosenberg.
You don't got to use too much.
A little, and y'all should also read directions.
A tiny bit.
Fellas, redirection.
Rosenberg came in here one day, like.
Glistening.
Yeah, but it was all on his hands.
Everything he touched had basket lather, beard oil on it.
It was all on his phone.
I'm like, Rosenberg.
It was more than a dime.
It was more, it was more than what was needed.
Nonetheless, because he couldn't be here today and he's on Daddy Duty,
do we have the video because we wanted a Baskin Lather,
Rosenberg Beard Update? What do we have?
Yo, guys, I'm sorry I couldn't be there today.
I had to help out. Natalie was something.
But yo, shout out to my people at Baskin Lather.
Slowly but surely between the oil, the shampoo, the brush.
I'm putting in the work.
There it is.
And Baskin Lather is getting his beard going the right direction.
all of a sudden, there's starting to be chatter
that the Rosenberg beard is like its own entity altogether.
So never give up on the possibilities of your beard
when there are products and people like Baskin Lather
to make it happen.
Shout out to Baskin Lather. Thank you.
Baskin Lather is Black Own family operated.
And right now, go to Baskin LatherCode.com.
You can use the code ELR for 20% off.
I also, ESA also uses it for our edges
and for her leave-in conditioner.
And, you know, all summer, you know,
a lot of the ladies, they wear braids.
Yeah.
Right.
And so the braids can yank out
some of the baby hairs along the temple here.
So Issa's been using,
they have a serum to help, like,
hair repair and follicle that she's been using right here.
So the family's all basking latherer around here.
Rosenberg's using it on the beard.
At home, too.
Ricardo's using it on his beard.
Is it coming together?
Yeah.
I mean, his was always nice,
but it's just for upkeep.
You know, he uses the oil.
the brush, so he's into it too.
So in my house, Baskin'Lather.
Listen, if your dude is not brushing his beard
and doing some sort of like,
it's hair, guys.
It's hair.
You're going to take care of it.
And I know a lot of dudes, y'all just went to the barbershop.
You get your hair cut.
You never really did any like hair care.
If you want your hair to grow, right,
and you have to take care of it.
You have to brush it.
You have to soften it.
You have to put products in it.
So get your Baskin Lather on.
Once again,
Baskin Latherco.com.
Use the code
ELR for 20% off.
You ready for the gurus fan?
Yes.
Hey, yo, it's time for the gurus.
Rosenberg.
All right.
You know you are a beautiful queen.
Ebro.
Don't ever play yourself.
You're not a guru.
All right.
And then breathe out.
The original gurus at gmail.com.
The original gurus at gmail.
com.
Your destination for clarity.
email us.
Burn the sagey bro.
All right.
Zena,
Xenna, Zer.
All right, this person would like to be anonymous.
We got you.
I'm not going to Rosenberg you.
Dear E-L-R.
Love you guys.
I tune in every day.
I'm reaching out because I'm frustrated
and asking for help.
I'm a working single,
widowed mother of three boys.
With no support.
Damn.
Both after-school programs
available to my son.
are already at full capacity.
I cannot keep leaving work early using PTO just to pick them up.
I am now even looking for a remote job so I can better care for my children.
Where is the help for working single mothers like me?
We are doing everything we're supposed to do, working, providing, and taking care of our children,
yet it feels like there's no support when we need it the most.
Anything can help.
Thank you.
Oh, man, this is tough.
she basically, well, what is specifically needed here?
Money, it sounds like, or...
Information.
Or information.
So the one thing she said it was all of the programs for her sons are booked up.
And it was all the boys or just one specific boy.
I mean, she said for her son.
She said for my son, so I'm assuming it's one.
But listen, I will tell you that after school programs, bro, if you don't claim your spot
months in advance.
As soon as that email is sent out, you're screwed.
And there's very, very, very few options outside of that that are not super expensive.
Or, uh, obviously, listen, boys and girls clubs, depending on where you live.
Yeah.
Uh, are very, very active.
And you could also just get resources from a boys and girls club, uh, sometimes.
Sometimes the YMCA does it too.
Yeah, I was going to say the YMCA or.
go to like the department of what do they call it? They call it. They have it something in towns.
Like different towns have like a like a parks and rec department.
Yeah. Where they have programs that potentially are open to, you know, to keep kids busy,
different after school programs. Some libraries have them.
Yeah, we're just going to say that, that your local library offers so much. Sometimes people
don't realize all the cool things that they do. But she didn't specify age of her kid.
you know, because I don't know if he can walk to the library after school to keep him busy.
You know, like we don't know how old your child is because I know there's also specific programs available for younger kids.
I don't really know what state you live in because she didn't specify that, but I suggest you're doing some research online on the free things that your state offers and your city.
Your city. And talk to your kid's school.
Yes. See if they offer anything.
I think, yo, parents, you got to get activated in your kid's school.
that's how you find out about stuff early.
Yeah.
That's way,
that way you can sign up for programs
before they're filled up because you,
and now she sounds like she's working hard
because she's doing everything by herself.
But, you know,
you might have to carve out a day and a time
where you can call an administrator
in the afternoon on your lunch break,
have a conversation with somebody,
send an email, right?
Or on those, those PTA nights.
You know what I'm saying?
You might just have to grab your kid
and I used to hate this with my mom
when she would show up to school after hours
and I would have to go with her.
You used to hate it.
I don't know why is that embarrassing.
I don't know.
You're at the school all day.
Think about how stupid that is.
You're at the school all day.
These teachers see you all day looking nuts.
Now your mom is like,
yo, we got to go back to your school tonight
for some meeting.
And you're like, uh-huh.
It's just you being a stink-ass kid.
That's fucking dumb, bro.
Like, when you really think of that, that's dumb.
You gotta go back.
Oh God.
And do nothing.
Like, you're just going to sit there while adults talk.
Yeah, but I do suggest and speak to your, I don't know how the community is in your school.
Like, I'm very fortunate, like the parents in my daughter's school.
Like, everybody kind of taps in.
It helps each other out.
And I think, which I think is pretty cool.
And it helps.
God knows it helps.
Because when I miss something, the chat will tell me or I'll ask.
So I don't be scared of leaning into the community.
I think you should try all of the above, everything that we mentioned.
because I'm sure something is going to pop up
or maybe somebody is willing to do a pickup
when they pick up their own kid.
You know what I mean?
Maybe they're willing to do it for a couple dollars.
Maybe that that can help.
But I do suggest like putting it out there
because a lot of times people suffer in silence
because they're scared.
You are doing what you can with what you have.
You have three children and you're by yourself.
So I say lean on your school,
talk to people, let people know that you need help.
And I'm sure somebody at least will give you some option.
good luck so say the guru listen on the outro there's two things that need to happen right now
this has been called the ebro belly dancer video what so this was just over the weekend
i want you guys all to know i know when we were talking about what is that what was that called

Yeah, right.
See, I participate.
I'm a good sport.
Look, that's my boy, Russ.
She probably thinks it's my birthday's his.
I don't know what she's making me dance for.
I commend you for being a good sport, though.
I was a good sport.
Yo, but Russ ain't-ish, because he knew I was like, that was for him.
No, absolutely.
Yo, and the whole night I was trying, you know, like,
when shit's going on at a restaurant?
You try to not make eye contact with like the dancer or whatever
because you don't want them coming over to you to involve you in some shit.
Right, right.
I was not making eye contact the whole night.
That's funny.
So I just want everybody to know I participated in.
Happy birthday of my guy Russ.
Nate.
My brother Marius, it was his birthday September 11th, too.
My mom celebrated or would have celebrated her birthday this past week too.
So a lot of Virgoes around me.

So things are picking up, man.
We get a lot of love from people who are happy we started this platform and are providing,
I think I've been told that we provide a different kind of content.
I don't know if that's valid or not, but I guess they feel like the internet is mostly...
It's a freer conversation than you probably see on most platforms.
Right, a little bit different, right?
A little bit more nuanced and thoughtful than most platforms, guys.
It's not just screaming and taking sides.
And it's not just headlines.
And it's not what?
And it's not just headlines.
Not just headlines.
All right. Fair enough.
Appreciate that.
Appreciate you all, man.
