Starting point is 00:00:00 Just don't call it a podcast. The Ebro-Lara Rosenberg show. Good morning, family. Oh, good morning. Here for another one of first century. I was happy with a lot of these. Yeah, I think it's a great loss. I saw the biggest argument that I saw was the Sopranos argument.
Starting point is 00:00:41 But there's no argument, though. They said the date. So what happened is... January 1, 2000. January 10th, 1999, it premiered nine days before the cutoff. 73 of its 86 episodes aired after 2000. Wait, wait, what do you mean? You said January what?
Starting point is 00:00:58 1999, January 10th. So that's nine, that's 11 months before the cut. Yeah, so that's a whole... Yeah, yeah, it's almost a whole year. Yeah, yeah. That's why I didn't make it. That makes sense. I thought it was one episode.
Starting point is 00:01:07 I misread it last night, so... But to me, even if the episode aired... Even just one. Even one, because you've got to draw a line. There is true. And also, you have so many shows to work with. A line does need to be done. All right, so let's go to top 20.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Okay. Let's discuss top 20. So 20 was The Crown. Never watch it. That's a Netflix. I'm like a walking billboard today. Yes. Netflix, I never have watched The Crown ever.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Me neither. I don't even tell you what it's about, but I do know something about like. Could you take a guess? It's about royal stuff. Royal stuff. I went to like. That's why we have Mendez back.
Starting point is 00:01:44 She brought it. Report in the news. She just brings it every time. I went through like a thing that they built for it, like a buildout, so I've seen. You went to an event,
Starting point is 00:01:53 but you still don't know what it's about? It was like an all-around Netflix thing, so they had buildouts for all the shows. I just walk through it. All right, 19, Chernobyl. Very good show. Don't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:02:03 So Mendez is killing it so far in the same day. Chernobyl, I did not finish. I know it was a mini-series. I know it was very highly regarded. Yeah, yeah. But I didn't do it. It was shot beautifully. I mean, even though it was so fucking dark,
Starting point is 00:02:14 You know what I mean? It was shot beautifully. The storyline was amazing, obviously. But I truly enjoyed it. I thought it was very well done. Let me see. I may destroy you. Do you remember this one?
Starting point is 00:02:24 This one was actually really good. It was like a sneaky good one. But I... What's it about again? I made a story? I do remember it, but I don't remember it. I forgot her name, bro. She is like...
Starting point is 00:02:34 I forgot her actress. She's a British actress. It takes place like in London. She's just this chick who is just like got like... She's a writer. She got all this money in advance. to write a book. Then she kind of is like
Starting point is 00:02:47 trying to catch this deadline but she ends up being sexually assaulted in a club. So it's this whole like thing about being like this young person and trying to like find yourself and then she ends up blaming somebody else.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Hold on TV styles two for three early on. I remember this one. It was pretty good. I saw a lot of advertisements for it. You would really like it, Mardi. It's worth you watching. I feel like it to scream. Hold, me at these levels.
Starting point is 00:03:12 All right. You want, Mike, are you on? The ebro mic? Yes. Okay. A 17. The Americans. I can't tell you, but I'm sure it's about some Americans.
Starting point is 00:03:24 You guys haven't even haven't heard of it, the Americans? No. Gigantic show. Really? Yeah, on FX. About spies. I love FX shows. No, you don't.
Starting point is 00:03:32 No, because you ever watched the Americans? No, you know, by the way. Have you? No. I didn't say I love Epic. It's borderline like being like, I love HBO shows. Like, what do you think is Sparto? Never heard of it.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Like, it's the American. Louis, am I wrong? It's like, it's the. It was the first big FX smash. Wait, Louie, did you watch? Wait, do I like FX shows? I'm the worst. I'm the worst.
Starting point is 00:03:52 I mean, I'm not great, but I've gotten better. It's the pandemic. It's like four of those shows. All right. Number 16, arguably my favorite. Actually, hold on, we're about to have back-to-back big Rosenberg talk. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:04:02 The British office. Never watched it. I did not prefer it. Yeah, it wasn't as funny to me. It's one of my favorite shows of all time. All right? Six feet under. Maybe my number one favorite show of all time is six feet under.
Starting point is 00:04:13 I need to watch it. Don't. Laura, I've been telling you that for years. I really just need to do it. I need to do it. Why do you say don't? I don't know it. You don't know it either.
Starting point is 00:04:21 I'm going to get, I have some more in the top 10. All right, cool. I'm just not there yet. All right. 14 Friday night lights. Listen, I don't know if I'd have Friday night's at 14, but it's a really, really great, you know, teen drama. Yeah. It's a great show.
Starting point is 00:04:36 But it's, I don't know if I would have had a 14, but I'm not mad at it. That's the debut of Michael B. Jordan. Hold on. Jesse P. Jersey. And Michael B. Jordan. Um, any other big. actors come for that show?
Starting point is 00:04:47 Michael B. Jordan wasn't first in the wire. Minka Kelly. We're talking about Friday and eight late. I know, but he said it was the debut of Michael B. What was that? Connie Britton. Oh, well, Connie Britton, you know Connie Britton? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Kanye Britton and Kyle Chandler were both like on their way, but they both start in that. Minka Kelly was big in that. And yes, Michael B. Jordan was in the wire first a little bit as a kid. This he was like a teenage football player like it was, you know. All right. 13 girls. I didn't like it. I tried it. Everybody raved about it.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yeah. I couldn't relate to it. It didn't feel like my life for anything I. And I watched it. And there were some characters that I liked, but it was, I wouldn't put it. It was just, I just, people, no, girls just considered. They went crazy over it. No, girls is considered like a real thing.
Starting point is 00:05:32 If I had to pick a New York City comedy, it'd be Broad City over girls. Yeah, and even Broad City to me was a bit cheesy sometimes. I loved. So why did Broad City resonate with you? And Broad City is so white also. Right. I'm like, surprised that resonating with them. so white, but it was the level of comedy that I think was just a little more, maybe more silly a little bit, while staying witty, though. So I think I need the combination of silly and witty, which I really enjoyed. Girls is just witty. Just witty. And just weird. Like, I don't know. It was, it was white, Broad City, but there was, there was, there was, and, uh, the, Alana was so, like, wanted to be such a good person and, and, and so pro everything that I think that was, you know, they tried to. For me, girls is an asterisk.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Asteris. Yeah, I just, not top 20. That's what I'm trying to say. But do you watch it? Yeah, I saw it. I watched all of it. You watched all of it. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Oh, yeah, yeah. You really tried. I am backing off. At the time, my roommate really loved it. And by the way, just outside the top 20, at 21 was White Lotus. Yeah, great show. It was hanging out right there. Great show.
Starting point is 00:06:37 All right. Girls was 13. Arrested Development and 12. Now, do you love Arrested Development? Silly Comedy. Love it. I still couldn't like get past. passionate about it the way I am about the office.
Starting point is 00:06:47 For some reason, I mean, I've watched a ton of episodes. It's hilarious, but it doesn't like, oh my God, I need to binge this entire series. Yeah, I wasn't, I watched me. It's a very specific thing. It is. I love Jason Bateman. I think he is. I'm obsessed with him.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Arrested Development is the kind of show that in theory one might think, like, I was obsessed with and watched every second of. It wasn't. It, like, never drew me back in enough. Even though when I've watched it, I thought it was hilarious. And I'm like, oh, I get why people love this. Sort of like how I feel about King of the Hill or, you know, South Park. It was like I see the brilliance, but it doesn't connect with me.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah, there was something about it. All right. So number 11, the office. Ah, number, I would put that at number one. No, I wouldn't. I think it's certainly. A lot of people are arguing that. No, I love The Office and everything about it.
Starting point is 00:07:36 What did you say, Louie? Best show ever. Best show ever. So funny. Top three for you. From this list, I would say top five, because at the end of the day, it was syndication and you can watch that show over and over and over again and it's still funny to this day yeah office being out of the top 10 hold on hold on hold on we need you sorry office being
Starting point is 00:07:56 out of the top 10 is blasphemy yeah it does feel like an intentional slight almost that is ridiculous like we're going to take the most popular one the one that's the most transcendent dude my nephew is I'm 47 my nephew is 18 we both know every episode by heart you know what I mean yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's multi-generational. Like, it does feel like a bit of a troll. Yeah. Even though I know this was like, you know, voted on by lots of different people, I,
Starting point is 00:08:24 that feels like I reach. Atlanta 10. Rachel. I'm totally good with Atlanta. Me too. Yeah. Like, it's, it's, you know, listen, am I like desperate to rewatch Atlanta? No.
Starting point is 00:08:36 But like, it was a brilliant, like, there were episodes that you're just like, wow. Yeah. The writing was incredible. Oh, my God. And every night. The feel. Yeah. I was excited to watch each episode.
Starting point is 00:08:45 I loved it. I was actually very happy to see it at number 10. I recently was scrolling through my phone and saw the like the little script, the pictures of the script from when I auditioned for the first episode. Oh my God. I forgot about that. Wait, I don't think that I wonder. Do you think some of our listeners don't know? No, I think they all know. Was it like a character that said the N-word or something? Yes. Yes. Yes. Everybody couldn't do it. I can't, I can't. Honestly, though, like, after I saw the character that you would have played, I was just like, you know what? It's better that you didn't get that.
Starting point is 00:09:23 It wasn't me. I'm glad you did not. No, it turned out for the best. Yeah. I was hoping, like, the show would go long enough and maybe we would get to a point where the character, look, here it is. I feel like they could have given you a different character. Did you come to the, did you go to the premiere and, or not premiere, but the first screening?
Starting point is 00:09:38 I know me and Deiani went. No, no, no. That was so great. Yeah, here it is. Oh my God, official script. With my name spelled wrong diagonally across it. Earn and Dave going back and forth. The line was, you know how N words out here are?
Starting point is 00:09:55 He usually charges a full C. Yo, they'd still be talking about that on the internet to this day. No, they knew that against you? How you use the N word. No, the clip would have been. No, it would have been. I got some experience with your detractors last night in the comments from the posts on from yesterday.
Starting point is 00:10:12 And it's tough, right? Bro, they are repug with you. They don't let you breathe. They don't care. They haven't said anything about me and Laura. No, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, there's a repug. It's a repug. It's no, yeah, a friend of my, I think it was, I think it was my boy Ty Butler again.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Was it Thai? Or is, no, it was my boy, Zach I, Greg. We were talking, like, there's just no room for me on, on certain things. I was just like, oh, okay. But I told you, just, yeah, leave it alone. I'm trying, Loua. It's noise. I'm trying.
Starting point is 00:10:45 And I didn't know. When we did the show yesterday and talked about the yay stuff, I didn't know that like other people were going to make it their like thing yesterday. Yeah, it was like my, our conversation about it here was completely insulated. I was basing it on like the way I saw comments and how it moved around. I didn't know that other radio shows were going to like make it a thing to talk shit about yesterday. So that wasn't,
Starting point is 00:11:07 that wasn't, in fact, that might have negatively sent me the other way. I'm glad I did it on my own accord. because knowing me, I would have gotten more defensive. You would have. And people looking for their little moment to kiss back up to the ring. You have a little easy moment. I could have went that route. But see, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Good. You're almost going there right now. I'm almost going there. Let's move on. But I'm going to curb that. I'm going to curb it with curb your enthusiasm at number nine. Listen, I can't argue. Like, listen, do I, pardon me want to say it's number one?
Starting point is 00:11:37 Sure. But like, it's too ridiculous a show to be number one. Like, it's not a real storyline. It's a, the show's a complete goof. You know who put me onto this show? Our guy. Dip. Before Diff.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I had never watched it. Seinfeld wasn't my cup of tea. I was a little too young also. Just missed that one. And then Kurb, kind of the same thing. I guess it debuted when I was in middle school. And had never watched it. And then Dip had a premiere party at his house.
Starting point is 00:12:04 And I was literally in years. DIP is my manager, by the way, everyone who I introduced to. I think we all know Dipperstein. Not every listener knows every. Whatever. They don't all remember my Atlanta audition. I mean, you guys don't even remember basic stories for my life. You think the audience remembers Dipperstein?
Starting point is 00:12:19 Good point. So Dip invited people over. Yes, and we had a big party for it, and it was the season where Larry's friend's bird died, and he texts them, like, sorry about your bird, the good news is I'm still alive. And when I tell you, I was literally in tears. Well, no, that must speak to also autistic Mardi, because his character just says whatever. No, he's quite literally. I'm not nearly as bad as that.
Starting point is 00:12:43 No, you're not. Far more empathetic and I think about my, you know, my words will have a reaction with other people, but completely relate to hilarious. Exactly. All right. So we're good with curb at nine. Number eight?
Starting point is 00:12:56 30 Rock is eight. Never watched it. Never seen it at all? No, obviously very familiar. Just never personally cared to tune in. So again, it's another one of those shows that I liked whatever I saw, but I never became obsessed with it. That's what it gave me.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Didn't pull me in. All right. Number seven. Same thing with Vee. Me too. But I do, Laura asked yesterday about Veep, and I do think Laura would love Veep. Yeah, that's why, that's, wait, we're son.
Starting point is 00:13:17 You watch Veep. Are you in? Yeah, I love Veep. What is it about? You can't label, you can't label Basin. No, I see, unlike you, Judgey McJudger, I like to hear. I just said you can't label him because one day,
Starting point is 00:13:32 he's watching the Hercules Network, whatever the shit's called. Zeus. Zoos. Hercules Network is crazy. Yo. Look what? They both get the same amount of play in my house.
Starting point is 00:13:45 I think like that history channel kind of thing. I'm like, don't judge him because he likes baddies. So, but then he turns around and loves Veep. Guys, it's really only loving hip. I don't watch all the baddies. Just loving him on. Just certain baddies. Black and cruel and 16 and pregnant.
Starting point is 00:14:02 But you know, not too much show. Classic. Regnant. Classic. All right. So Veep is a must watch. Deep was really good. I remember watching.
Starting point is 00:14:10 All right. I mean, we could all. By the way, I just want to say on the low, if you're watching, Marty low-key played Laura right there. What do you mean? It was quiet, but you take your, just for Ebro, what I know Ebro will notice and be upset about. What?
Starting point is 00:14:22 The Duncan Cup. He would go, they don't pay for no shit around here. Oh, Carl? But, no, the low-key diss on Laura. What did I do? She was like, what's VEP about? And you were like, I mean, a vice president? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:37 She plays the vice president. That's why it's called. But it's a little bit of context clues on time. Well, you got, you came for me on the crown. Okay, okay. All right, here we go. Number six is them thrones. Them thrones.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Them thrones could have been a little higher. I know. You could argue thrones is a top one or two. Yeah. It's got to be in the convo. You never tried? Did you try? I don't like that type of like show.
Starting point is 00:15:05 I don't care about dragons and fighting. But the thing is, I don't need their money. It got everybody. Even people who don't like it. Color palette. And here we go on an autistic thing. I'm very specific about my show having particular colors and brightness.
Starting point is 00:15:15 A darker show makes me sad. Genuinely, I just don't, I don't feel good when I watch that. Oh, but it's brilliant, man. We were all so in. I will say that was a show that all of us, right? We're just...
Starting point is 00:15:26 I think it was the entire... Obsessed. Not you? No, no, I love game. I would say, before we enter the top five, I'll continue. If we were looking for one to take out for the office, it would definitely be VEP.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I loved it. I did, but... But you would knock Vip. Be out of office. And also, okay. And as we get to the top five, I didn't watch it, and it's about a sex addict,
Starting point is 00:15:47 so I should watch it and love it, I'm sure. But y'all are being too cute to put Fleabag at number five. Guys, I know nothing about Flea Bag. Yeah, I never even heard of that. Fleabag is about a woman who's a sex addict. It's supposed to be a great show. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:00 But it's three years. It was a three-year, very neat show. To put that at five, I get it. You know, I guess I should appreciate that when a list isn't about popular. It's about just like what's best. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:12 But like I just can't believe that it would be cracked the top five. Okay. When you look at the other shows in the top five. Yeah. It's like how. I've never even heard of flea bag. Yeah, that's my thing. It's like how big was.
Starting point is 00:16:24 It's niche. No, it was, it was, I heard about it. I had to go like seek it out. It wasn't like it was like in my face. Okay. And then I never ended up watching it. But it was supposed to be great. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Number four. Roseberg's favorite. I mean, it's succession. It's another one that like, if it was one or two, I wouldn't have been shocked. But I think four is appropriate for succession. Okay. It really never faded to me.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Yeah. Like, it was great beginning to end. Yeah. I came in late and then went backwards and enjoyed the whole thing. Funny, incredibly smart, funny, quick. Like, of now, sort of of the Trumpian world that we live in in a lot of ways. Yeah. like, you know, obviously Karen Colkin just became a monster.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Jeremy Strong. Like, it made. Was Jeremy the star that he was the main guy? No, well, there's no main guy. The old guy? No, the younger one. Jeremy Strong. Okay, yeah, that's who I was thinking of.
Starting point is 00:17:25 He's the pathetic son? Yeah. Jeremy Strong. I was actually just feeling like him walking here. I had my headphones in and I was listening to like some ridiculous song walking through Manhattan. I'm like, I literally feel like a lean guy. You should watch it.
Starting point is 00:17:37 I should go back. No, I think I watched like the first. two, three episodes and then I kind of fade. And not because of, I just got distracted. And by the way, Homegirls was a big star too. Who? No, Homegirl. Oh, you love her. She was great in that show.
Starting point is 00:17:49 No, come on. I genuinely don't know. There's one main woman on the show. The red, uh, Shavon? Chavon. Which is crazy how they spell that. Anyhow. The chat is probably yelling at us.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Fun fact though, fun lore. I partied with cousin Greg and McLevin on my birthday last year. their friends cousins yes and they were at the club with me next to me in my section do you have a photo I do not because I was scared to ask them
Starting point is 00:18:18 because it was just a night out and they just weren't on that vibe they had girls with them I almost fell when I walked over to them and he was like cousin Greg and he's like watch your step and it was great
Starting point is 00:18:27 it was good all right three and four so you listen these are all three and four Very Me, Mad Men at 3. We are in the start of the beginning of season five right now. Natalie had never seen it. I haven't seen it yet and I should.
Starting point is 00:18:46 Great show. Is there ever anything that you love but you also like you love like I truly love this show. But I also can be a little like all right everybody relax. You can happen. Yeah. I love it. But like do I think it's top five? He is Don Draper,
Starting point is 00:19:04 John Ham's character. To me is as I kind of a character as there is on the whole thing, except for maybe, well, Tony Sprano's not on the list. But he's Walter White, great. Like, he's a epic character. And there are a few characters on the show that are really Peggy.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Olson's obviously a great character. Roger, these characters are great. The show doesn't always go, like I laughed so hard at Natalie the other day, because it got really deep into his relationship shit, which is all she wants on the show. And she literally said something like, oh, the advertiser.
Starting point is 00:19:38 I'm like, it's a show about advertising. She's literally like, enough, I get it. Okay, Marlboro, this, this, that. Let's get to the relationship shit. So it's about him and his ex-wife and his new life and all that, but it's a phenomenal show. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:55 All right. By the way, color palette? No, I love the color palette. Beautiful. You'll be into the color. It's not dark and depressing. It's like. Oh, I've seen.
Starting point is 00:20:03 I know. It's right up my alley. I love a period. Yeah. Okay. The wire number two. Now, I saw a lot of arguments between one and two. A lot of people felt that number two should have been one.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Well, a lot of people feel that, I mean, these are both like the obligatory. You have to put them as one or two if you make a list. Hard fact, folks, didn't finish the wire. Haven't gone back to, like, I restarted again. I started, I think, too late. And I know, listen, of all the things that get me roasted in the comments, I know this will do it the most. But like, it's taste, so I just don't give a shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:38 When I restarted The Wire in like 2013 or whatever it was, the first season of the Wire to me is so not epic feeling or like big. It's like it feels like a network cop show to me. It like did not hit me with that prestige TV. But at the same time when it aired live, I watched, I think, season four arbitrarily because you know, I was like 25 and dumb. And it did feel big and awesome. So anyways, my experience with it was messed up.
Starting point is 00:21:09 I'm like out of order and then never quite finished it. Everyone says it's the greatest ever. I don't challenge them on it. I just didn't have that experience with it yet. Number one, Breaking Bad. I mean, listen, again, Breaking Bad is a little bit like Mad Men to me. I absolutely adore it. Is it hands down the number one greatest show of all time?
Starting point is 00:21:27 I feel like that gets a little overstated to me. It wasn't a fantastic show though. It was. It was. Yeah, totally. A fantastic show. I just remember like it just took you through so many feelings, you know? It's like Walter White was like the villain, but you had so much compassion for him.
Starting point is 00:21:43 And Jesse, again, another one that you were like, you're such an idiot, but at the same time you wanted him to win. We have a bitch in here, Griff? I love that. I don't think we have an idiot. Ah, damn. We used his bitch for years. No, it's, that show is. It might be.
Starting point is 00:21:57 That show is iconic. And you're right. Oh, there it is. Bitch. No. They don't do your bitch. No. No, his bitch was way better.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Bitch. Bitch. Bitch. Bitch. Good bitch. No, it has, yo, the show, the show when Walter lets Jesse's girl die. Oh, God. Bro.
Starting point is 00:22:17 If you just did a spoiler to somebody. What if they never saw it? I never saw it. You won't remember until the moment's happening. And then when the moment's happening, you're like, no, not now. Please. Yeah, yeah. It's, no, listen.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Again, this is me saying, I love it. But, like, everyone says it's number one. And that's even pre. Like, there are people who even if, this included everything before it. They just think it's the greatest show of all time. I still have the Sopranos higher than Breaking Bad. But again, Sopranos did make this list so it's around this.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Overall, I think this is pretty good. Now, when you look back, how do you feel about some of the other things that are like further back? I mean, let me say. Is there anything that you guys love? Hacks, I would have put higher. I mean, hacks is what, top 50? It's 42. It's not a bad place.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Black mirror at 26? Okay, okay, I'm not mad. Black Mirror is interesting. Black Mirror has fallen off to me, guys. Last season didn't, last two didn't. I'm still in. I'm in. I'm still.
Starting point is 00:23:14 But like, I just haven't hit me the same way. The first few were so earth-shattering. It's hard to keep that going to where you're constantly surprising people in my head. No, I was still in. You know, I just, number 27, better call Saul. It just never got me. I know you were so mad at me.
Starting point is 00:23:29 No, no, no. I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you. You're wrong, but I'm not mad at you for being wrong, You're wrong. No, it's hard to get into. I was so bored, Mike.
Starting point is 00:23:37 No, no, it's, but I can't. I can't be mad at you for that. It's, it's better cross. What is? Chappelle at 58. So that jumped out to me too. Like for such an, I know it didn't run long, but it feels like Chappelle's like Chappelle should be higher.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Three years longer. It's the same amount as Flea Bag. True. And flea bag is number six or whatever. Chernobyl was one, was one time. Yeah, it's a great point. And think about how much, like, influence Chappelle show had. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:24:02 You know, and I did notice two power and Snowfall. are off the list. Do we feel like, well, power is ridiculous. I didn't watch power, but. By the end, they lost me completely. Snowfall was great. Snowfall was a hell of a show, though. Snowfall could have been on it.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Penn 15, phenomenal show. Let me see. 59. Let me see. Schitt's Creek. I don't know what Penn 15 is. Oh my God. Never heard of it.
Starting point is 00:24:24 It was a period piece set in 2000, and these two comedians, sorry, I forgot their names, Maya, something. They played their seventh grade selves because they looked pretty young, and it was so brilliant when I say it truly encapsulated the early 2000's teenage girl experience. Like bringing you back is so awkward
Starting point is 00:24:43 that it made you uncomfortable in the best way. Such a phenomenal. You know what? That sounds. I mean I need to watch this money. No, I'm telling you it was phenomenal. Okay. I cannot sing its praises.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Wait, hold on. What's up, Griffey? If you take out the last season, House of Cards at 48. Didn't want. So if you, if you, that's right, he's absolutely right. If you remove the fact that it fell off a cliff at the way end, you know, one, two, and three were like...
Starting point is 00:25:10 Because Kevin Spacey. Yeah, it was just... I know, because crazy-ass Kevin Spacey was living that life. It was insane. One note they didn't have this in there, and I could not recommend this show more from a couple of years ago, lessons in chemistry.
Starting point is 00:25:24 One season, it is the most beautiful show based on an incredibly popular book that obviously I didn't read because I'm not very bright, But I afterwards found out how popular lessons of chemistry is a book. But yeah, didn't make the top 100 phenomenal. Shouts to Anthony Bourdain getting number 69 for no reservations. I'm not mad at that.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Love that. What's that? Where's This Is Us? Isn't that your show? Where's This Is Us? It's depressing. We, Rosenberg and I would come into the studio after watching This Is Us and just talking about the show, we would have tears in our eyes. We were ready to cry again.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Bro. I cried during the show. I spoke to pee. I cried again. I mean, bro would be so annoyed at us. By the way. He hated us when we used to come in after. No, guys, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:09 I know it was cheesy. I know it was like a little bit of like tragedy porn. It was very sad. Not 100. Come on. Yeah, that's trying too hard, bro. The numbers, like, it's one of the most popular dramas of the time. It was.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Key and Peel's a good one. Oh, hold on. What number's Key and Peel? 29. Chill the fuck out, guys. You want it higher or lower? Lower. Key and Peel's 30 places above.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Chappelle show? I can't see the name Aaron and not say Aeron. That doesn't make this 57. And that's like literally what they're hanging. Yo, Key and Peel, it's revisionist history. It's a good, good show. It is not 30 places better than Chappellell. It's not better than Chappelle's show, period. That is some, no, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:52 No way. In the chat, they're saying Sons of Anarchy, Vikings. Is Sons of Anarchy not there at all? Sons of Anarchy's not there. When did that premiere, though? After 2000, oh, in 05. The pit being high up. I mean, the pit is a fabulous show,
Starting point is 00:27:07 but we're only, oh, it's just started. Yeah, I thought it was one season, and I think we're in the second season. Yo, the pit. 36. Yo, that's a crazy. That is, I mean, shout out to the pit. It is a phenomenal show.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Oh, phenomenal show. Hold on, hold on. Everyone calm down for a second. The pit, real quick, the pit is not just ER. It's a better. It's like a more nuanced. It is, yes, it's like, deeper. Deeper.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Is it not Noah Wiley doing the same thing on a doctor's job? But they get deeper, it's deeper into the stories of the patients. Like real. Okay. One season at 36? Two. That's two seasons. So the second season.
Starting point is 00:27:47 All right. On the second season. Sorry, Griff what? Another one that's missing. And I heard it's because of the last season, how I met your mother. Oh, that was a big one in pop culture. By the way, I had no interest, but that was a huge show. Yeah, I didn't watch it either, but big show.
Starting point is 00:28:00 I will say, I'm secure. I really love. Shits Creek. Isn't Shits Creek high? Yeah, it's up there. 34. 34. But that was one that was like,
Starting point is 00:28:08 yo, it just brought me so much of joy. That show was awesome. I would not be, I would not have been surprised if Shits Creek had been like 10. Yeah. Rest and peace,
Starting point is 00:28:16 Catherine O'Hara. Yeah, with how popular it is and how like well written in the actors, I'm surprised it wasn't. For how big it was, I'm surprised scandal is at a hundred. A hundred for scandal. Oh, you're right, Louie.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Dexter. Dexter was a big one. Dexter was huge. That was a big when I was in college. What year Dexter debut? 06 and it's at 88. Damn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:37 And House is at 95. Wow. That was another like hospital one, right? See, this is why I feel like some of the shows they have are on there because they were big. And then other shows I feel like were left off intentionally because they were big. Parks and Rec at 50. I'm fine with Parks and Rec 50. BoJack Horseman.
Starting point is 00:28:55 The only cartoon from what I'm, oh, also phenomenal writing. And also relatable. You should watch me. Yeah, I've never seen it. cartoons, Rick and Morty's got to be on there. Yeah. Is Rick and Morty not on it? That.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Right. And what about Bosburg? That might have been the 90. I got to mention insecure. Of course. Yeah. Yeah. That's good.
Starting point is 00:29:12 The bear, 74 should have been 9-74. What? You're such a hater. I love the bear. Wait, baby reindeer got on here? Yes, but baby reindeer was actually really good. It was a good show and it was big, but I mean, come on, dog. We only have 100 to work with.
Starting point is 00:29:26 I was, I don't know if it's top 100. It's not. And I really liked it, but I don't think it's top 100. It was good. by the end of it ending. I was ready for it. I wasn't like, oh my God, I need more. It didn't change the culture either.
Starting point is 00:29:36 I just don't think it belongs here. Handmaid's Tale at 67. By the way, that's disrespect, too. That should have been way high. Handmaid's tale to me is another one that would you have been shocked if it was nine? No, not at all.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Yo, that's a low, low. Ozark 68 is pretty low. I know some people were out on Ozark at the end. That's another Jason Bateman, right? Yes, yes, and it was fire. Love that going. Wait, wait, hold on. Oh, what?
Starting point is 00:30:00 No Walking Dead? Hold on. I mean, everyone says. There's no walking dead at all. No walking dead at all. Well, I mean, hold on. What? I just have to call you out.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Why? You can't say. I love Jason Bateman and not watch one of his shows. Not Ozark. Why? No. I love him as a comedian and as a person. No, no.
Starting point is 00:30:18 He's one of. I have a hybrid of my perfect man and he's in it. Okay, but it's like being like, I'm going to talk Madi's language. Yo, I'm the biggest dipset fan. No, I've never heard diplomatic immunity. They don't that come out. It's, it's, it was. the thing that changed. I mean, Arrested Development was a big deal, but Ozark made him true leading
Starting point is 00:30:36 man like you're the man. But it's not my kind of comedy. It's not a comedy. Exactly. See? But it's action and drama. I don't like action or drama like that. But if you love him. I love him as a person. But did you try it? No, because it's not my, would you try a food that is mixed with all the foods you don't like? But you don't like, I don't understand. What did you think about it that you don't? You don't like anything that has any. It's dark. It and it's not funny. I want to laugh. I go through. enough on my day-to-day life that when I'm watching a show, I want to be brought into a happy place. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I watch the show because of Jason Bateman. That's what Bri could. I could try. It's so good. I hate when people don't watch drama. Everyone, I'll tell you this. You're at least better than, I just need to turn my brain off and watch reality TV. Yeah, no, I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:31:22 You're not. You're better than that. But you can't leave out drama. There's so much good shit. I mean, there is. And there are a few that I like. It's just if I'm choosing, there's a bejillion filian. Zillion chose to choose from, I'm not starting there.
Starting point is 00:31:33 But if I loved a man and he was my ideal man. No, he's one of three. So who are the other two? Zach Fox and Jada kiss in one person, though. Zach Vikes and Jada kiss. Oh my God. Parts of their different personalities fused into one. Individually, I couldn't date any of them.
Starting point is 00:31:48 You know what I'm saying? Got it. Yeah. Got it. Zach Fox and Jada kiss as one person. And Jason Baitman. And Jason Baitman. There's part, you know, because like Zach is a little too crazy.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Jada is a little too reserved and Jason is a little too, white, I guess. Sure. So, but you bring them three together. And you have something. Yeah. I would have all, who wouldn't have thought of that? And by the way, two of them named Jason.
Starting point is 00:32:11 I guess I'm meant for a man named Jason. I mean, you're meant for a man named Jason. All right, that was fun, guys. Yeah, that was fine. That was totally fun. All right. Not bad. How do you feel about the, um, thousands and thousands of gallons of water that have been
Starting point is 00:32:25 wasted because of people doing the Migos A-Ivo and. It's just, it goes to show you. how people just forget if it's a trend they're like who cares what's happening all over the world who cares that it's like destroying communities yeah we have something fun to like watch i i i just can't somebody put up a statistic of how many like gallons of water it's to create these things and it's pretty sad guys here's the thing though and i do hate all of those kind of videos something about that video every time i see it it's funny i hate it that i love it i hate it's the cats when the cats do it and they're just rolling their paws and it's so funny
Starting point is 00:33:01 That's one is very good. It's really good. But you know what gets me mad? I hate when famous people do it. And somehow the one they do doesn't look like them. Yeah. And like Snoop posted one. And it looked terrible.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Meanwhile, I've seen people with three followers who nobody knows. And it looks exactly like them. Not AI. Yeah, AI cannot get Snoop right. That shit really pisses me off. It's the photo they upload. That's what the problem is. And whatever app he uses, too, he may have used an app that's
Starting point is 00:33:31 not his quality. Yeah. And I'm sure somebody else did it for Steve. Exactly. He's not sitting there. Well, was I, I know. He might be. He's on Instagram all day long.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Was I tempted to do one with Maya? Sure I was. I was tempted to. But I held back. Me too. Good. Good. Because it had gone so far at that point.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It's like, what are you contributing to the conversation? Okay, I have to admit, I actually even tried to go do it for me and my best friend. Hey, Carol. And then I saw you have to pay. And I was like, I'm not paying to ruin the world. That's what stopped. Yes. And I wasn't going to post you.
Starting point is 00:34:01 posted on social either. I wanted to just send it to her. No. What were they charged you to do? I don't know. It was like you had to like join a subscription. You could have canceled and it was probably free for a day or something, but it just wasn't worth wasting. The hassle.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Killing a fish to do that. I couldn't agree with you. I respected money. That's a great decision. Yeah. How did you feel about the video? I forgot to send it to Bascom. How did you guys feel about my Dracula chicken head video?
Starting point is 00:34:26 I laughed. I wouldn't have kept watching it if I was scrolling. Huh. What do you think? Same. I, I giggled. I giggled. Yeah, it was a giggle.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I don't know why I found it so funny. A white guy with vampire teeth, dramatically performing back and forth with the chicken head vers. Just didn't move me. All right. All right. I'm going to let you be the judge. Can I send it to you? When you get a chance?
Starting point is 00:34:50 Oh, my God. I'll let the people choose. All right. Let's go to the rundown. All right. Oh, rundown? Yes. Intro is the outro.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Outro is the intro. Let's do it. Laura got the rundown. Turn that up. Screens on glow when she pulled up. Headlines heavy, but we still caught up. Light still flashing, we don't slow. All right, this was nice to see.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Quavo and Offset back together again for the first time in about five years. Cuevo held a surprise listening party for his new album, Chrome Life, and Offset dropped in to tease a new song from the project called Away. So Cuevo posted about the upcoming album, executive produced by Ferell.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Wow. It was all on Instagram, and he said, We made this project together last year at a time that I was still dealing with grief and needed to create and express myself. He said, Chrome Life is about the journey of me going through tough times in life and getting to the other side through my faith. Family and love for music. So we're pushing forward. We keep shining.
Starting point is 00:35:48 We become Chrome. And then him and Offsson aren't just teaming up for this one song. Cuevo recently said that they're in the process of making a final Miko's album. Okay. With posthumous vocals. Posthumous. Postumous. So I love that they were back together.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Yes. I love that. I love that they're getting back together. I don't know why everybody. I mean, maybe they're saying final album because they don't want to do once they are out of takeoff vocals. Yeah. It's not Migos really anymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:14 But I hope that this was the real mending and like Cuevo and Offset are just good forever. And like move and do their own. And by the way, remember, Cuevo and Takeoff did an album. Yeah. Cuevo and Offset doing projects together. Like they're brothers. They need to be like this was, that was always one of the most heartbreaking things to me
Starting point is 00:36:33 was that not only to take off who was such a sweetheart of a man, lose his life, but then to like see that they couldn't all be family at that time was so brutal. Yeah. So that makes me, that's a sincerely happy run down story.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I love that. Yeah. That's great. I ran into this video of us, Rosenberg. It's me, you and Ebro. And then we had all of them in the,
Starting point is 00:36:50 in our old, I think it was our old morning show office. January 2017. And we had them, we had them tape like a, a commercial for like a contest and we all walked in and we're like auditioning to be like the fourth mingo you do you remember this yes i'm going to find it i'm going to send it to me brousa you remember this i'm going to send it to him i'm a dig for it send it to him so you guys can watch it
Starting point is 00:37:10 it's it's cheesy stupid funny and i love it can you do it for family friday patreon yeah yeah yeah yeah um i have no memory of that whatsoever but i'll tell you this this is what's so washed about us now when migos came out we were like we can't even understand what they're They're saying, especially Ebro, Ebro was like, I can't hear you because you don't sound like Big Daddy Kane.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Like we were so old acting. Was that his? And now, that was his voice. That's what he sounds like. And now they are like the most barzy. They're like old school rappers compared to who's out now.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Oh my God. They spit, spit. Like, I don't know what we were even thinking when we thought they weren't like spiters and we like, I don't know. And the ad libs were so fascinating. I was listening to. fight night the other day. I'm like, wow, this was really an interesting. I was always one of the
Starting point is 00:38:01 biggest fight night guys in the biz. By the way, side note, that day that we did have them in studio, January 2017, we had Cardi right after them, but her and Offset had not even, like, linked up yet. And I asked her later, like, did you meet Offset that day at the station? And she was like, we didn't even run into. They came within like minutes of each other. Wow. Yeah. Good memory, because I don't remember that. Yeah. I remember everything. That's so cool. In other news, let me see. this was sad to see. Rick Ross is being publicly accused
Starting point is 00:38:30 of domestic violence and physical abuse by his on and off ex-girlfriend and model Jazz McKendrick. So she shared photos of an injured lip and said that the alleged incident was the moment that she decided to leave their relationship. So I saw the photo,
Starting point is 00:38:46 Complex posted it. It was just like a really, really bad, busted lip. And she later shared, you know, my name is Siaia. and I live in the most beautiful place on earth. Seven months ago, I blew up my life, and a lot has shifted since then.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Everyone is moving forward. I'm still working on that. And that's me. Welcome to Ice Cove. Where are the penguins? That's Antarctica. We're the other one. North of North.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Stream all episodes, available on CBCJM. What happened and said, the day Rick busted my lip and the day I left. So all the post was shared to her Instagram stories. Damn, that is not, that is unacceptable. That is not what you want, man. Yeah, she said it happened about a month ago. She spoke out last night again, just saying thank you for the support.
Starting point is 00:39:40 I waited to kind of share my truth. Damn, I got to tell you, that is a real bummer. Because like I thought relationship Rick Ross, first of all, was like a new. New? No, no, no. Like having that version of his life where he's relationship. guy I thought was a good wrinkle for his development. Have you been paying attention to this guy?
Starting point is 00:39:59 He goes through a new girlfriend like every eight months and he is in love with him. So I could be confusing her even with a different one. Oh, yeah. No, this is a brand new one in the last. It's a lot. No, it's ridiculous. He's not cycles through. And then they move in and he's in love and he posts them every day.
Starting point is 00:40:13 And then he decides he's done with them and moves on to the next one. Yeah, but that's repub. I mean, look. It's that bad. It's bad. Sorry, I'm checked out, gosh. Yeah. I mean, just, I mean, regardless of that, though, the physical.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Abuse is really horrible. It's really horrible. And like, and there's a, I mean, is he going to come out and say, what do you say about that? He posted in a pool or something, like, completely, like, I, maybe he's just hoping it goes away. Yeah. He's probably like, the news cycle will continue and maybe it'll go away. Hey, listen, man, I just got to tell you, I don't understand how this stuff happens because now being, I always, I was always very, you know, passionate about thinking people were scumbags for hitting women. but now being father of daughter, it's just, you know.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Yeah, it's disgusting. It's just, there'd be a lot of dead motherfuckers in this world. We're really wild out here. Also, Jay-Z is asking a court to reconsider his extortion case against Tony Busby. Remember, we talked about this. Yes. Basically, you know, Jay filed a petition with an appeals court in California asking the court to reconsider its recent refusal to reinstate his extortion and defamation lawsuit against
Starting point is 00:41:19 Busby, which was previously dismissed by a law. lower court. So basically, you know, in the docs, Jay-Z is saying that Jane Doe recently recanting her allegations against him is new evidence and should allow his claims to proceed. I agree. I mean, it's black and white to me. I agree. So I let's see what happens.
Starting point is 00:41:41 It's hard to imagine if someone said something that foul about you. Yeah. That you wouldn't want to keep going until it had been resolved. Yeah. And Busby is claiming. that she's been you know it's bought and paid for everything is bought and paid for of course he's gonna say that but that's literally like the definition of defamation yeah i don't understand it doesn't get any more defaming than that right so let's see what happens with that case but guys
Starting point is 00:42:06 that's the rundown oh yeah mr belding that's right rip mr belding 75 years old that's damn that's young for a rich person for someone who should have some money in the bank i would think would he be rich should have some money in the bank if residual if his deal was done right, but we don't know what kind of doing. By the way, great point. Yeah, we don't know. I would have assumed Mr. Belding was well to do, but you're right, he could have not had a lot of money, period. I don't know. And what was his career like after that? I don't know. Yeah, I can't point out of all the other, like, no, no. Because all I know is that after saved by the boat, he was in all, every spinoff. And then, but that's it. Yeah, but I don't remember
Starting point is 00:42:41 him in anything else. And those spinoffs, did they go that far? Damn, this tribute to Mr. Belding is really falling off. No, I mean, this is really bad, actually. He started out showing love, and now it's Now we're debating his legacy. Like how big a failure he was. I mean, this is. He did such a good job. We know him as Mr. Belding. Thank you,
Starting point is 00:42:59 he created a classic character that lives on in our hearts forever. Thank you very much. Thank you, Louie. By the way, I didn't see this till right now. This just made me laugh out loud. McLemore has sparked a feud within the Ed Shearhan family. Yeah, but.
Starting point is 00:43:15 Hold on. Ed Shearin has a cousin named Jethro Sheeran. Crazy. This can't be real. It's not even worth a minute. He's such a... Jethro Sheeran came out taking shots at Ed Shearin.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Who? And said he might drop a disc track. Nah, bro. These people don't deserve shine. What do you mean? Why are you coming for Jethro? Because it's always the disgruntled family member that's probably mad that Ed has no relationship with him.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Probably. So he uses this moment to get some shine and we're giving him the shine. He's so desperately looking. Yeah. Think of all the worst people I've given shine to. to the Jethro Sheeran. None of them deserve it. Yeah, but they don't have a funny name.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Jethro Scheran deserves his shot. And we're making fun of him. It's not like we're like bringing him up. He's still going to love it. Jethro. But by the way, he's not doing anything that bad. He's just coming for his cousin. Guess what?
Starting point is 00:44:05 So is everyone else. Just add him to the list. Jethro Sheeran. I also saw the Ray J update. No, guys, you know, listen, you guys cook me every time I try to even bring up Ray J. Because also he trolls all the time. Yes.
Starting point is 00:44:19 He's like the boy that cried. Wolf, I don't, by the way, by the way, he claims, in this interview, he claimed that his liver and heart are both effed up, but he has not went to get it checked out. I saw the clip. So then how do you know that? Yeah. How do you know it's your liver and your heart if you haven't got to check that? He probably has been diagnosed before because he's been in the hospital multiple times. So they probably told him, hey, if you don't get your act together, your liver will fail. Your heart will fail. So he probably knows that it's a very sensitive situation, but he's doing nothing to take care of himself. But yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:50 I feel sorry for him. But at the same time, it's very hard to be compassionate when you hear him saying the most craziest, like ludicrous things just to go viral. Also, if you might have heart problems, you're going to keep doing this boxing thing? That's what he, I just, he wants to go back to Jethra Sheeran. No, I don't want to talk about either one of them because they're both looking for this attention. There was a video. Oh, what's the Netanyahu video that was in the chat this morning? You got that one?
Starting point is 00:45:17 Yeah, didn't you guys drop one in there? Louis dropped one in. Was it too late? So it's basically him saying he was an interview. He's basically, he showed his cell phone. He's like, I can ruin basically somebody's life in making one. You have it? Basketball?
Starting point is 00:45:32 Oh, yeah. Do you have my chicken head Dracula? We have my Bernie Sanders. How do we go from Nihu to chicken head dragon? I know, this is a hell of a segue. We are a show that hits many points. Hold on. Yesterday, everyone was complaining, like, what's going on with the show?
Starting point is 00:46:03 We got blocked because we played a video with it. And we almost did thank you, my. We played multiple music videos. Yeah, it took me an hour and a half to get all. On Patreon, I'm watching that whole thing. Yeah. Why did he think to put in Dracula teeth and do the same? Sassy ad lib of chicken, like, why?
Starting point is 00:46:19 Why? It is good stuff. It is. It is so stupid, but it's hilarious. Turns out that actually is Jeff Ro Sheeran. Not a lot of people know that. What is the Jasmine Guy story that was moving around? It's very not nice.
Starting point is 00:46:34 So she's on a new, you know, the new spinoff or whatever you, prequel, sequel of a different world. Right, right. And people are just coming for her because as a woman in her 60s, she aged as one does. And they are saying she looks old and horrible. It's terrible. And how can you compare her to like a different world era? Like no way.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Of course she's going to age. Like, and then she was, I believe at the time she was older playing a younger character. I think she was like 25 playing an 18 year old. So it's like, of course she's going to age. And she's a woman that didn't fill her face up with fillers or plastic surgery. And it's like, it's a sad situation. People have the nerve to like comment and say horrible things to age. a woman who's a legend.
Starting point is 00:47:19 It's sad, but this is the world we live in. Like, women can't even age gracefully. What's the video we have, Baskam? Look at her. She looks fantastic. Can we play this? No, no music. No music.
Starting point is 00:47:33 She looks fantastic. Yeah, I mean, she looks older, but she looks. And grimes. You guys want the truth? What? The truth is my OGs, my original boners are the reason that this is an issue. I'm talking about Hallie.
Starting point is 00:47:48 I'm talking about Salma High. They have made, there are people out there making 60 look 30. Yeah. And it makes it hard on some people who just, I mean, because in the case of Salma and Halley, I'm sure they've both done something here or there.
Starting point is 00:47:59 Of course. But for the most part, they just managed to keep it together in a crazy way. Yeah. Most people age. Yeah. And it's really, I just don't know who,
Starting point is 00:48:07 you know what, it makes me feel better about the comments we're talking about. Yeah. People say crazy things online. Like, leave Jasmine Guy alone. Like what? So what?
Starting point is 00:48:15 So what? She's probably what, 65? Yes. She's 60. And she looks fantastic. But people feel entitled to just share these nasty opinions. And they also just feel that public figures are somehow like immune to these things. Yeah, they're not, you deserve what.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I know. And your little comments that you don't think add up to anything. Like they do. Yeah. People see them. Yo, bro. And the worst part is like, Marty, I don't know if you do this. But when people leave disgusting comments, I always click on their profile to see.
Starting point is 00:48:41 And it's always like a Bible verse. Jesus. Yes. A Bible verse in their bio. And like across. And across, across a moaning. And it's always something so disgusting, like, or a phrase like, be kind. Right.
Starting point is 00:48:53 I love everyone. Spread love. Natalie just texted me and said, did you just say original boners? You're obese. I made that phrase up. It came out naturally. I didn't know how to describe, like, my original crushes is a kid. You didn't know how to describe your original crushes, so you went with original boners.
Starting point is 00:49:13 There's a pathway to a phrase where you could have said original crushes. Original crashes. You know what? Oh, my God. L-O-J, cool, Jay. All right, so we also have, you guys remember what they used to call Joe Biden's Sleepy Joe? Let's take a video at number eight. Let's take a number eight.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Sleepy Joe Biden. Have you hired it? A few moments later. Tomorrow in America is always well equipped. And that everyday Americans have what they need it. Look at the lip. Biden never had that lip. Biden never had the sleepy time Bobo's lip.
Starting point is 00:49:45 Bobo's lip. To build our steel in America. He is out. If there was a feather in front of his face, it would be like blowing up and coming back down. I'm sure is his wig moving a little bit? Yo, if you put a little, like, you know, sleepy hat on his head, he could be one of the seven dwarfs, bro.
Starting point is 00:50:02 As much as they tore Joe Biden up and this man is falling a left and right. Often. Yeah, for the record, though, even though it's like a small thing relative to everything else, this is the ultimate proof of the fraud. that right-winger's are. Like just a fraud. You made his whole brand was Sleepy Joe.
Starting point is 00:50:22 His whole brand. And I really don't recall a video of people actually alleging he was sleeping. Now maybe there was one and I'm forgetting it. But this man, every time he hosts people
Starting point is 00:50:34 in the Oval Office, you can see the face drooping into sleep. Y'all are just complete frauds and you have no problem being a fraud. Yeah, they don't care. You said one thing
Starting point is 00:50:44 about someone else, it was not true, it is true of you, nothing. They'll say he was blinking, he was thinking, he was looking down. They have every excuse for this, when Biden was sleepy Joe. Look what they're doing with Mitch McConnell. He is weekend at Bernie's and they're just like everything's all right. Yeah. Everything's fine. He's great. He's in great spirits. He's healthy. And he's just there looking looking like a dry ass tortoise. What dry ass turdice? Yes. What was the one I laughed at? Oh, the witch outside of Spirit Halloween. That is funny.
Starting point is 00:51:17 When you step on the carpet and she's like, or whatever, they'll laugh. It's not that. That was not the laugh. It's so true. Some would say that Trump is not gracing agefully. You know what I'm saying? Some would say.
Starting point is 00:51:33 Let's go to video nine. Mom Donnie talking SNL. I do enjoy that. Were you happy with your depiction on SNL over the weekend. And then second question, I'm wondering if your appearance with Trump last week, do you think that
Starting point is 00:51:50 kind of weakens the argument from Republicans running for office, either Blakeman or those running for Congress across the state, does it weaken their efforts to sort of depict you as a as a foil or like villain
Starting point is 00:52:06 and for your far-left politics? Far left politics, like connecting New Yorkers with jobs at the NYC Service Center. Here we are. I think to your second question, I will leave it to pundits and analysts to make that judgment. What I will say is that I will continue to meet with anyone and everyone who can help deliver for New Yorkers. And when it comes to your first question, I think it's always something to be celebrated if the fact of our focus
Starting point is 00:52:41 of $21 billion to create 12,000 new homes at Sunnyside Yard is given a national audience as it was. I think Rami does a great job. I saw this clip Rosenberg. I guess somebody asked him about his hair and he's like, I'm on that monoxidil. He's like, I was saying, I'm taking care of it now
Starting point is 00:53:00 before I, you know, I'm trying to delay that trip to turkey. By the way, is it even thin of it? Is it even thin at all? Well, no, that's why he's on it. That's why he's taking care of him. Preventative care. Monoxidel. I appreciate it. I love Mom Donnie. I got no love for people with hair talking about they know.
Starting point is 00:53:16 I'm taking more so I can have bionic here. F all that. No, he just doesn't want to lose it. Yeah, he's just getting ahead of the game. I know, but don't. So he doesn't end up like you. Yeah, but I'm not, I'm not, as someone who did Rogan and Monoxidil, like you're spraying nasty chemicals on your head.
Starting point is 00:53:30 I'm not doing that until you need to do it. Preventative spraying nasty shit on my head, I'm waiting. The whole point is for it to like continue to grow. So you don't get to the point. where you have no hair. I hear you, but like if I can have, I'm just saying, what if he's fine? I guess he knows his family.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I'm sure. So if his family roots, there's some baldies in there. Yeah. Did you do it too late? And that's what happened. It didn't rescue you. I didn't,
Starting point is 00:53:51 I don't know if I did it too late. A, I don't think it really works that great. Oh, I've seen wonders from people. From monocidal? Yes. I don't know if I believe them. Yes. I feel like they might have done a little extra some.
Starting point is 00:54:02 I know a lot of people who sprayed shit in their hair. Nothing happened. I, so I, because, you know, I have a few friends who suffered from postpartum, you know, hair. They, you drop, especially your edges, all of this comes out. And it's completely changed them.
Starting point is 00:54:14 I mean, they're all women. So I don't know what they're different. I was going to say, I feel like that could be different, though. Like, that is potentially more of a temporary thing that could come back. By the way, maybe I just didn't use it consistently enough. It's nasty. I did not enjoy it. Like waking up and you spray this nasty liquid on your head and rubbed.
Starting point is 00:54:30 It just wasn't for me. I tried and then I just guess what? Decide to Grace's agefully. I mean, it looks great now. You know, this is the baldie is the baldy. I always tell you, you're lucky that you have a nice shaped head. That's what I always tell people. Like, you have to have a nice shape head to be bald.
Starting point is 00:54:44 So then do us a favor right now. Not everybody can have one or you wouldn't say it. Name some people with some ugly ass heads right now. I've seen some people with some ugly heads. People that we know? I think Elmer Fudd. Going just cartoon characters. The cone heads, you know?
Starting point is 00:54:58 I have seen it. Some cone heads. And sometimes I'm like, oh, you know, I like you better with a hat on. You pull it off really well. Thank you. Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Louis, what were you going to say?
Starting point is 00:55:07 Oh, no, I just wanted to shout out also. He went to L.A. for Kimmel last night. No, no, I thought that was here. No. It was here? I'm sorry, it was here. Yeah, getting a stand in the movie. He can't leave his city.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Nice. I love that. Yeah, because, you know, Kimmel was doing his week in New York and our guy did first night. Hey, do we have any gurus in there, Griff? Has anyone gurued us up? This weekend? I think on Sunday, I sent you a new one. All right. Oh, the fantasy football one?
Starting point is 00:55:34 Yep. You guys want to hit a gorita? All right, let's do it. I mean, why not? Hey, yo, it's time for the gurus. Rosenberg. All right, you know you are a beautiful queen. Ebro, don't ever play yourself.
Starting point is 00:55:45 You're not a guru. Then breathe out. The original gurus at gmail.com. The original gurus at gmail.com. Where the gurus unite to fight for what's right. Marty, I need you to burn some stage right now. What sound would I make for that? It's like, it's like,
Starting point is 00:56:05 Bubbling, burning. Zendzvim. I don't know what that is. Because it's crackles. It's crackling in the little save stick. Don't do that again. You're not Shawnee. Who's out there?
Starting point is 00:56:18 Who's out there? Who's writing to us? The original gurus at gmail.com is your destination for clarity. You're the original gurus at gmail.com. Send your email today. And you can be on the gurus tomorrow. What up, gurus? Big Phot from California. Watching clips since 2015.
Starting point is 00:56:32 And now I watch you guys daily during my prep periods. All right. I'm in a fantasy league, and last week one of the guys, my cousin's brother-in-law, who I see at holiday functions, let's call him Jed, since he's a Niners fan, that's foul, sent me a trade. I get Mike Evans and George Kittle, and he gets Malik Neighbors. On Monday during the New York game, I was checking my fantasy points, saw the trade, and accepted it. Two for one. Why not?
Starting point is 00:57:02 The next morning, the league group chat received a bull. book length text and a poll from Jed asking everyone to vote on whether this trade should be canceled. He said he sent me the trade earlier in the week, forgot to cancel it, and claimed I ignored it until after the neighbors and dart injuries. To be straight up, I didn't watch a single second of the game. I don't even have cable by choice, not because I don't have money to invest. Ha ha. I was chilling with my wife watching a documentary. I had no clue.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Why are you even playing fantasy football? That's it. Like this is a part. you annoy me. Why are you even playing fantasy? If like if you're literally at the point where you're watching documentaries with your wife on a Sunday rather than watch football, why is this even a thing of interest to you? While he was spiraling in the group chat, I decided to pull a Kendrick and remained silent. He got into a back and forth of a few league members who told him to stop complaining. I could tell he was fuming. It was giving major Rosenberg crash out on Twitter
Starting point is 00:57:59 Vodg. The next day after the trade went through, Jed texting me saying, I cheated. I cheated. him and that he knows what I did and that it was wrong because he thought we were cool. So gurus, do I hit him back with the truth, try to keep things from being awkward at the next holiday get together? I have a feeling he won't believe me or do I remain silent and let him scramble. Thanks in advance, E. That was a journey of an email. You know, but it was actually a, you know, somewhat legitimate question.
Starting point is 00:58:29 How bad a guy do you want to be? Do you want to let this guy who's clearly crashing out, crash out? or do you want to bail him out? Here's the problem, though. The guy doesn't have a kick coming. He sent a trade offer that was a bad trade offer and you accepted it. Why don't you just write back and explain the situation, but hey, bro, honestly, I didn't even watch her and know what happened.
Starting point is 00:58:49 I just accepted the trade. There's an old phrase where I'm from. I don't know if you're familiar with it. It's very, very well known. It's called finders, keepers, losers, we move on now. Yeah, I think at this point, just move on, bro. I don't think it's worth it. By the way, when was the last time you heard a good finders,
Starting point is 00:59:04 keepers, losers, weepers? It's been a minute. It's been a while. It's been a while. That's a throwback. Are kids still doing that? I don't know. Are kids still pulling a finders, keepers, losers, weepers?
Starting point is 00:59:12 Right now, Ken's is an iny, mini, min, min, mo. And then she just makes it up. Catch a, catch a tiger with a toe. Like, she just makes a little. It gets a little long at the end. A little remix, you know? I'm like, all right. She changes it up each time, but I'm into it.
Starting point is 00:59:25 But I'm pretty sure that was originally a racist phrase. It definitely was. It's fine. It wasn't good. But it's not, though. It's a tiger now and it's... And everything's okay. I mean, not okay, but at least it's better.
Starting point is 00:59:40 It's a tiger now. I would say, I would say, tell him the truth. And if he wants to still be a little bitch about it, you know, then let him bitch out. Let him Rosenberg crash out. Can we get your bitch? I like that one better. I don't have it as a drop. Oh, we do have it here.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Yeah, you definitely made it a drop. Yeah. All the drops are in here. But did you make it like, did he make it a separate thing? I don't see them in here. another page, but yeah, it was... Because that would have deserved that, bitch. No, you're right. That would have been perfect for it, but Ebro did not save them all here.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Bitch! I know, I remember when you put in like 19 drops from it, but they're not on his main page. Can you do it? Can you recreate it? No, it doesn't hit the same way. What if we rile you up right now? Bitch! No, I think but he's adjusted my mic since then.
Starting point is 01:00:25 I don't feel as bitchy about my bitch. Oh, Lord. Guys, a lot has happened on today's show. We also, by the way, have a Patreon dropping tomorrow. It's going to be fun. That's a lot of fun. Yes. Did some old school digging in the crate, some hot 97 memories and some different things there.
Starting point is 01:00:45 No watch-along. We received mixed reviews on the Drake watch-along apparently. Yeah, we did. We did. So we gave you something completely different. Although, I got tell you, Madi got mostly good reviews from the comments I saw yesterday. She sure did. And I got a lot, a lot of comments, too, like in my Instagram, my DMs and stuff.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Really? And then it was a little weird. Were you, like, almost surprised that people were checking like that? No, like, super surprised. And then it was weird because they were all commenting on the Cornell 7 video. Like, we love Marty, congrats, da-da-da-da. And, like, I was really mixed with, like, responding, thank you on, like, a very serious video in the comments. So I just was, like, liking every, and then DMing them.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Like, thank you so much. Like, I didn't want to take away from the important message, you know what I mean. I feel, yeah, I feel. No, but it's been a pleasure having you.
