Starting point is 00:00:51 your period of a month on $1 Bye.com.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Just don't call in a podcast. You know, a second, and a ma'amara. He hit me with a heavy woman we were at to last in the first. All I said was is impossible
Starting point is 00:01:12 in New York City. The crowd that was super anti-mom Dani was like, hey, I might as well leave the dog your shit in the snow because he's not going to do
Starting point is 00:01:22 anything anyway. Yo, wait, Andrew Dice Clay is anti-M-Dak? What? Don't ask why. game ADC. And then they're like, look, that way they can burn them on Mom Donnie. But they just all decided to leave poop in the snow.
Starting point is 00:01:36 No, the funny part, Rosenberg, is that when I'm on threads or any of those, and, you know, there's always someone from another state. We're like, do you guys regret your vote yet? You know, those threads. So I saw somebody being like, look at this. This is, you voted for Zoran. This is what you get. This is RIP, New York City.
Starting point is 00:01:55 RIP is spinning. Yeah, yo, it's so. stupid. No, I'm going to tell you, now, they did work. Previous men never had poop. Never had snow, anything like that. I'm going to tell you, they put in that work last week. They put in that work last week when Mom Donnie gave you the ultimatums, where he was basically
Starting point is 00:02:11 like, Hockel, we got to raise taxes on the rich, or my last resort is raising these property taxes 9%. They went to work on the socials. I had people calling me from St. Louis, like, yo, is it true, mom? Mom Donnie's going to raise property. That's not going to help renters. That's, I was like, bro, he said it was his, how did that even get to you? How did that even get to you, bro?
Starting point is 00:02:39 The main headline was, Zoron, Mom, Donnie is going to raise property taxes. It wasn't last resort. No, no, no. That's what he was going to do. That's every headline I saw from like any right-leaning outlet. It was that. Now, look, we've definitely had. I went and looked.
Starting point is 00:03:00 There's definitely been years with multiple mayors where they weren't able to balance the budget and fully fund the budget deficit and had to cut programs and cut certain things and manage the city for a whole year, cutting, cutting, cutting, cuting, cutting. That has happened. And I'm sure you guys remember years
Starting point is 00:03:20 where you're hearing the mayor complain about, oh, well, we're not going to be able to do this this summer or even during the Adams administration where we couldn't afford the libraries or lifeguards at pools or... Yeah. You know, there's always been stuff that gets cut. I doubt Mom Donnie's going to go full last resort as his first resort.
Starting point is 00:03:41 He's just trying to put Kathy Hokel in a pickle and force her to raise taxes on the rich. I think is really what he's going for. Now, in other big news, we have ESPN's own Rosenberg here. I'm sure he turned into the gold medal. winning USA hockey game this weekend, right? Oh, I definitely did. I watched that gold medal match up, USA, Canada. Actually, I watched the third period.
Starting point is 00:04:08 It started like 8 o'clock. But by the time I took care of the baby, got things going, sat down, watched the third period. It was pretty good stuff. Now, for anyone out there who doesn't care, you should care because it's the first time of 46 years that the USA has gotten a gold medal. Oh, very cool.
Starting point is 00:04:24 See, now Laura Pop for that. Yeah. There's in the building. 1980. Listen, it was the first time since 1980. The kid who hit the game winner is actually a Jewish kid who's the star of the devils,
Starting point is 00:04:36 Jack Hughes. Jersey Devils in the building. All right. Scored the game winner in overtime. It was a great game. Now, I was already on the fence because, you know, my guy in the NHL is the Penguins legend, Sid Crosby.
Starting point is 00:04:52 And Sidney Crosby, it turned out, was not able to play in the last two games of the tournament because he was hurt. So that was a little bit disappointing. But I'm telling you right now, Sid's playing. I'm outright rooting for Canada. I'm just out. I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:05:05 I just outright rooting. I was wondering where you land on that story. Because that's your guy. That's my guy. I don't know, man. I don't know what that flies. Listen, I root for USA soccer. No matter who's president.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Congratulations, you play yourself. Hockey. I don't really feel the same way about it. Congratulations, you play yourself. I don't know room for my guy, but he didn't play anyway. So I was, you know, and let me just throw this out there, too. There is a, before we, before we end up trashing this team in a few seconds, let me just also say there's a beautiful story with the Team USA hockey,
Starting point is 00:05:38 which is that I don't know if you guys recall that almost a year and a half ago, a guy named Johnny Guadro and his brother, both NHL players, were in New Jersey for the brother's wedding. Wedding. That's right. And Johnny Guadro and his brother, whose first name, I'm forgetting, getting griff please remind me um they went they went bike riding the night before the wedding just on some like brotherly bonding and and they were both hit by a driver uh the night before the wedding
Starting point is 00:06:07 super sad man and it's horrible then it was announced later that gudrow's wife was pregnant with their third child i don't think he i don't even know if he even knew um and it was obviously a tragedy that rocked the hockey community and his brother but by the way beyond hockey i heard about it just as a cyclist, right? Like, just as somebody who was just like, you know, in that world. And then it was also during a time where there were some other incidents around the country where people were just like targeting cyclists. Like some kids killed a cyclist.
Starting point is 00:06:40 They just were just taunting a cyclist who was riding by himself, ran him over. So this was another thing for the cyclist world where the people were, you got to really be careful out here. That's right. That's right. So it was an awful, awful, awful story that like wrecked this whole family. Anyways, Johnny Gujarro would have been on Team USA. So as a result, they kept a locker for him at every game with his jersey throughout the Olympics.
Starting point is 00:07:05 And then yesterday when they won, the whole Gujaro family was in Italy at the game, and they skated around holding up his jersey after they won. So I do want to point out what was a truly beautiful moment. And there were some great things within this team USA team and some great players. but they do have a few D-bags on this team like Matthew Kachuk, Big Maga Kachuk. You know, he's like- Congratulations. You played yourself.
Starting point is 00:07:32 I was worried it was hard for me to fully be able to enjoy this team because I had a hunch. No, listen. Listen. No, listen. Listen, listen. When I saw them win, because I saw, I was actually on my bike here in the house getting some training in.
Starting point is 00:07:48 And in the place where this like app that I ride in Zwift, people were like talking about you know they were probably cycling and watching so they were chatting people were talking about it so I turned it on and saw the game winning gold in overtime saw the medal ceremony and all I could think about the entire time
Starting point is 00:08:06 was how MAGA this was going to go after the gold medal like I was just waiting to see where this went and boy did it go places because we have video you didn't know I didn't know we was going to go here Yo, run the video on Cash Patel. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:08:26 What a doofus is. When you hear Mother Freedom started raking a bell. What song is it? The whole wild world is raining down on a broad to your courtesy. Oh, the red wine. Some country. Some country. Why is Cash Patel there?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Well, that's where... Congratulations. You praise yourself. Why is... Why is... First of all, why is the head of the FBI in the locker room
Starting point is 00:09:27 with the hockey team? Most people say, ah, why are you hating? But taxpayers are paying for him to go in there and slug bruskies. You know that's a taxpayer-fronted trip. That came out after people got this video.
Starting point is 00:09:39 $75,000. But listen, by the way, that's pennies compared to the other money that has been stolen from taxpayers like the 10 billion that Trump has basically skimmed off the top to put into his board of peace that the Pope you guys saw the Pope come out and and slander this board of peace you guys saw that right I didn't see that I didn't know I saw people talking about it but what do you
Starting point is 00:10:03 say I mean listen I don't I don't want to paraphrase the Pope and get that wrong but it definitely wasn't nice and it definitely he definitely wasn't acting like he trusted Donald Trump's administration at all. He's been on it. That's my Pope. You know what I mean? My Pope's been on this. That's my Pope. No, my Pope's been on this from the very beginning. I love this guy. Yeah. But at any rate, yeah, $75,000 to go slug Brucekees with the USA hockey team. I'm sure the Magas are like, everybody shut up. We blow more money on other things.
Starting point is 00:10:35 But it's just indicative of this entire administration. Congratulations. You plagued yourself. Double maga, it was Toby Keith, courtesy of the red, white, and blue. There you go. He's MAGA before. Oh, gee. Oh, gee. Now, my thing is this, regardless of your politics, let's say some of these guys, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:55 they're privileged white guys who played hockey, and they fall on the wrong side of history. You really, you really want to party with Cash Patel? Like, you've seen it before? Yeah, listen. They want to make sure they don't get investigated. You know what I'm saying? Listen. But he's such a tool.
Starting point is 00:11:13 No, the real story is this. The real story is this. And for political reasons, the Russians weren't there. But I just want all Americans to know. If the Russians would have been playing hockey in this Winter Olympics, I have a feeling this would have went very differently.
Starting point is 00:11:29 So enjoy it. Enjoy it. Although, listen, they did beat Team Canada, though. Canada's nice. So you got to give them credit. But let me just say this. I saw some comments. saying and I thought this was very accurate
Starting point is 00:11:42 that for some of the team USA it wasn't that they wanted to be partying with Cash Patel. They were treating him like the fat team manager who they're kind of goofing on putting the metal around his neck. Like they were really kind of clowning him but they're like he wants to be
Starting point is 00:11:58 here so hey. Yeah and then the other question is how did he even get there? Like how did that even happen? Why is the head of the FBI at the Olympics? I know. And then And then he called Trump on speaker. Trump called on speaker and Trump's like, you guys are so good.
Starting point is 00:12:16 You know, Trump's at his best. When he's talking to people's sports, this is when he actually is able to truly run his regular guy play. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he does sit around watching some sports. Like, that's actually who he is. So he's hyping them all up and he's like, I'd like you to be a guest at the State of the Union on Tuesday. The biggest night. Oh, they'll be there.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Oh, they'll be there. And they'll probably get them back in the big. building for whatever the America 250 is slated for this summer, right? Yeah. Yep. 250 years, man, you got a gold medal and a sport that you rarely win gold in. I think this year at the Olympics, too, the USA won the most gold medals. I think they've ever won at a one to the Olympics.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Very cool. Griff, check that stat. I heard that stat, but check that from me. Wait, remind me again during the 250 celebration, is that when the UFC supposed to go down? They got UFC on the lawn. Come on, Laura.
Starting point is 00:13:14 It was originally going to be like right in the thick of it. I think now it's around Trump's birthday, not around 250. Because you know, Trump's birthday is bigger than USA 250. You know what I'm saying? That's the Trump 80.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Is that Trump 80? It might be Trump 80. Got out of here. You know, listen, by Tuesday, by the time the State of the Union comes, he may be a wartime president again. Because even though he somehow, This is what's amazing about Trump.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Not only did they have the greatest attack, the greatest, most brilliant military strategy and attack in the history of our country against Iran. It was so good. It didn't do the job, and they have to do it again. That's, yo, that's the- Congratulations, you play yourself. No, Trump, that's ill.
Starting point is 00:14:00 That's really ill, bro. If we're having it in Iran talk, let's just be clear. Now that we got this heavy crude oil that's down in Venezuela, that everybody's like, oh, it's the best, most oil, you need this oil, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Supposedly, Iran has some ingredient in their oil that we need to make sure that we can
Starting point is 00:14:19 move this Venezuelan crude, which is why Iran and Venezuela always did business together. Okay. But the reason we're going back to Iran this time, trust me, it's about money and oil. All the, and people who want to see the regime change, just like we saw in Venezuela. Iranian people who had to leave Iran because of the current regime and all of the politics and stuff will welcome however the regime change happens. They'll welcome it.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Even if it's on the back of, you know, of Satan and his ne'er-do-wells. Well, me and my dad were having a talk yesterday about the Iran situation. Yeah. And my, basically, you, you think, there's no underselling how bad the Iran regime is. But there's no underselling how bad the American or Israeli regimes are. So you have three terrible regimes, except two of them are saying to the one, you don't have the right to have missiles.
Starting point is 00:15:25 And if you don't put down your guns, as we're holding guns to your head, we're going to do things to you. And Iran is going, the only power we have, to defend ourselves in any way is the threat of missiles. And you're saying, you don't want us to have it, and we know you're going to bully us afterwards? Yeah, but Iran, you're treating your people badly. You're committing human rights violations.
Starting point is 00:15:53 Wait, wait, but that's definitely what Israel, the United States are doing. Congratulations, you plagued yourself. So this is, so you're literally telling them, Israel has always ignored any rules about nuclear. proliferation. Israel ignores it. They make their own rules. They do what they want to do. And nobody's going to do anything. No one's going to do a damn thing. Iran says, hey, we're going to have a little bit too, just in case, just in case you get crazy. If you all want to get froggy, we can get froggy. And they're saying, no, you have to. And if you don't, we're going to
Starting point is 00:16:26 attack. And everyone seems to feel that this time, it's not going to be as clean and open and shut as it was last time and Iran may fire off against U.S. proxies, other places, is going to shoot at Israel. Fortunately for them, you know, Bibi doesn't care about them shooting Israel. He's fine with the Israeli people living under the, yo, when this happens and you're in Israel, you just go to bomb shelters like 24-7. That's it. People act as if it's all loose and they're just still on the beach.
Starting point is 00:16:58 No, when it picks up like this, they will be in bombshells. He doesn't care. He wants the action. So we are going to watch. Congratulations. He plays yourself. Our safety and the safety of American soldiers abroad is in the hands of the same administration
Starting point is 00:17:13 that was just guzzling beers backstage at the Olympics. But the real thing you got to ask yourself, I think, in this moment, is, you know, we've seen this behavior before from all three of these factions, right? Is it more deadly now? because we lack trust of the leadership more now than we did in the past? Is it all just for oil now? Will they take things farther than they ever did before?
Starting point is 00:17:44 These are the questions you've got to ask. Because these three, these, you know, Israel, United States, Iran, been chipping at each other. There's been hijacked flights. There's been, you know, destabilized governments. There's been terrorism. There's been all of these things throughout history. the things. And I'm not saying that that makes it like, you know, less dangerous now. I'm just trying to add, like, we've seen all of this before. And it's always just ultimately about jockeying
Starting point is 00:18:11 for oil position and power in the region, which I think this time is no different. I hope you're right. The question is, do we believe that Iran will go farther than they ever have gone before or the U.S. and Israel is going to go farther than they ever had before? That's the thing. That's the real question. We don't know. We don't trust. And by the way, all of this, all of this, keeps us not talking about the Epstein files.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Yeah. Of which our nation, the United States of America, the FBI, the guy that's supposed to be investigating these files, is guzzling beer in Milan at the hockey match. Files, what files are you? Congratulations. You played yourself. Files.
Starting point is 00:18:57 The files that we were supposed, you know, the swamp that was supposed to be. cleared, the people, the files that were supposed to get released, the truth that was supposed to be told, all of the things that the magas were marketed to, you've got none of it, by the way. Literally none of it. You didn't even get the jobs. You haven't got the jobs. You haven't got the economy.
Starting point is 00:19:19 You haven't got the file. What actually, Trump supporters, please tell me in the chat. What have you gotten? It's been a year and some change. Remember, no new wars? Remember that? What happened to no new wars? Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:19:38 You plagued yourself. Anyway. Ebro, you're really bringing down the whole situation. We've been having a good year. All right? Think about it. All my guys are safe. Free the guys.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Freed the guys. Deflin. Now, Devlin's here, and I'm going to shout up all my guys in the Epstein Files. Work out here. All right, Devlin. Congratulations. You plagued yourself.
Starting point is 00:20:11 I just want to say, Laura and Rosenberg think the name Devlin is so cute and funny. I am not on board. I am just not on board. Someone suggested another one that was better too, Laura. I saw another suggestion besides Devlin. Somebody said Devlin and I loved it. But what's the other one? I'm not on board.
Starting point is 00:20:26 It was similar. Ebro's not on board for Devlin. Real quick from the Super Chat. Okay. Grim BK came through. and said, Peter, why the F? Are you still taking Bear outside in the freezing weather? I also have
Starting point is 00:20:39 a senior dog and have barely taken him outside. I let him go inside and clean up after him. Nah, listen, man, Ibril, Ebro, I just confused Bear with Ebro, that's interesting. Bear already goes inside at times just because he does. I'm not sponsoring it just because it's cold. Bear may be old. He has a very thick coat.
Starting point is 00:20:56 He's a very furry animal. He does find the only issue is when the salt is down. When it's just snowy, he likes, likes going outside to go potty. No big deal. And doesn't bear? Bear still appreciates a good, you know, let me step outside and look around even if it's for 60 seconds.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Yeah. I mean, he wasn't appreciating it when it was disgusting outside. But like right now this morning when it's quiet and the snows covered the ground, he enjoyed it. He had a little, little trot. All right. People like Devlin. Serene Storm says, it's my B-day today.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Happy birthday. My name is Yoldeeve. Can I please get a birthday shout out from my faves? Happy birthday Happy birthday Matter of fact For your birthday We have we have
Starting point is 00:21:38 Elmo and Abby Cadavie That's right For your birthday Let's see that video Oh wow Here we go Go ahead Elmo
Starting point is 00:21:58 Abby Abby So Salasi That was from Salasi's birthday party Over the weekend The whole squad
Starting point is 00:22:16 The whole community The whole family pulled up It was good time It was fun You guys did a great job Thank you. Well, jazz.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I don't know about if there's a you guys. It's mostly jazz and her sister Diane knocking it out. Oh, and I've got to give it to BB, Grandma. That's right. In the building, as usual. But yeah, I'm playing backup. You know what do you guys need me to do? Where do you need me to be?
Starting point is 00:22:40 What do I need to pick up? You know, just give me an assignment. I'm here. You know what I mean? I need to hang stuff from the ceiling. Do I need to make sure TVs are working? Do I need to go pick up vegan donuts in Brooklyn at 9 a.m.? No.
Starting point is 00:22:55 You went to eat vegan donuts? Vegan donuts. Those donuts over there were vegan. Uh-huh. And I drove all the way to Brooklyn to get those at Dunwell donuts in Brooklyn. What do they put in non-vegan donuts? Eggs. I listen.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Eggs. Yeah, milk. Yeah. Yeah. Vegan donuts just have like, I don't know, oat milk or almond milk. I don't know what they got going to. on, but them joints is smud-r-r-racking. They use, like, coconut condensed milk when they need to instead of regular condensed milk.
Starting point is 00:23:27 They make milk, milk goes into donuts? Yeah, it's like cake. You bake it. Depending on the type of donut. Yeah, I'm assuming, yeah, there's different kinds, but for the most part, it's like making a cake. Laura, you said that very mad. Laura said that. But, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Well, like, for instance, for instance, they make a Boston cream that, you know. Well, that I get. That jazz may stab you for. Like literally. No, no, you could die. You could die. Like when we go every once a year, there's an event somewhere at this house
Starting point is 00:23:58 and we're going to get vegan donuts, okay? Something happens. Somebody's in Brooklyn. Somebody makes it stop. Whatever. If anybody touches the Boston creams without Jazz O'K and you to have a Boston cream, you could die. I get it.
Starting point is 00:24:14 I get it. We all need our Boston cream. Ayo. I get it. Also. Hey, yo. Let's see. TurboJ says let's make the show two hours. Ebro, everybody, let's chat spam for a two hour show.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Nah, how about not? Chat spam. What does that even mean? Like just spam the chat by just everyone just sits there all day saying two hours, two hours, two hours. That's not going to make a difference. I don't know if that's going to be. I don't, can I just say something, though? I don't think if the show's two hours, right?
Starting point is 00:24:47 and it's just us talking for two hours covering topics. I don't believe that it leaves people on a high note. Like I like the vibe that we kind of leave people on a high note. They feel good. We're not like stretching it out too long, over talking, beating up topics too long, et cetera, et cetera. And even in that, even in the one hour, sometimes we get caught in a topic where we're passionate about it. We stay too long. I kind of like that we end on a high note.
Starting point is 00:25:14 We distribute other content for the folks. throughout the week, you could subscribe to the Patreon if you want to get content that doesn't appear here. If you are so inclined, so financially inclined to support that extra content, which I think we have more plans, more plans. There's always plans. And yeah, man, we love you on the Patreon. But also, like and share and subscribe here so that the algorithm picks it up and we can move around and find more people because there's still people.
Starting point is 00:25:47 There were people at the birthday party walking up to me like, yo, where y'all at now? No. At the birthday party! Yeah, they know me, but they still missed it. And I haven't talked to them. I haven't seen them. Yeah, because I'm surprised when I still get DMs.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Like, I miss you so much. I wish I could hear your voice. I'm like, you can. Guys, it makes, I want to tell you how bad it is. This goes on for so long. Saif and I have been back doing WANEP every week. Like, this is when we were actually still really good. every week Juan App was cracking for like two years
Starting point is 00:26:18 and I see people out all, yo, I'm such a fan. Y'all got to bring that Juanette back. I'm like, but if you're such a fan, you have to see that I post it on my... If they're not seeing it, they don't see it. Well, so, but here's the thing. No, but the thing is this guy.
Starting point is 00:26:35 But this is all we post. The three of us post this show. It's not like every few days. We're all posting it every single day. But it just takes time. And also, remember, I think people, when they go to social media, when, by the way, big word, when they go. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:26:50 You don't know how long they're spending there and what they're actually getting. And if they're not actively looking for a thing, I mean, look, even on your Instagram, or excuse me, on mine, I don't see y'all's posts and I could scroll 20 things deep. That's crazy. Like, that's a lot of scrolling for me is to go through 20, you know, different posts. and I'm not seeing you guys. I did it last week just as an experiment. And normally I don't even go that far. I normally go a few and then I'm looking in my comments
Starting point is 00:27:24 engaging with people in my own comments more than I'm reading other people's posts. Yo, shout it to Steve 89. He says, nah, one hour's fine. I got ish to do, L-O-L. I love you for that, me. I feel you. And listen, and the fact is
Starting point is 00:27:40 a lot of people are saying they'd be hyped about it. but like we also watch the numbers. Once we get after 9 o'clock, you see people have to start doing their thing. Like it's people are right. They got work to do. Now what we're devising a plan to get you early birds, a 7 a.m. drop too, 7.30, 7 a.m. drop.
Starting point is 00:27:59 So we got a plan coming for that. Just buckle up. We got plans. Now, Laura, in the rundown. Yes. Are you covering 50 and TI? I wasn't going to, but we could do that right now. You don't have to cover 50 and TI
Starting point is 00:28:14 I just didn't want to, you know, take content from you, but we do got to cover this 50 and TI. Rosenberg, you seem slightly annoyed by the 50 TI situation. No, no, no, I was intrigued by the I was intrigued by the interview clip I saw of TI. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:30 You want to have a look at it where he sat with a million dollars worth a game, Gilly and Wallo. Yeah, we could play a little bit of it. He basically explains it and then they go back and forth for a while, but the beginning is worthwhile. He explains the heat plays on them. Let's watch.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Okay, so first, like, you know, it was really about celebrating each other's catalog. Me and their nigger talked back there, bro. This shit, I ain't just called the nigga out the blue. Me and that nigga talked about this. You talked about this shit. Yeah, man, we talked about this shit, man. This shit just come out of nowhere. We were moving around in L.A., man, selling some TV shows and shit.
Starting point is 00:29:05 We were around each other, man, you know what I mean? I said, think about the day. He was like, you want to do that shit. I said, yeah, he was like, I. All right, cool. So shit. And I told him, I said, well, I'm going to jump out there first. And then you're just going to jump out there and we'll line it up.
Starting point is 00:29:19 And he said, all right. And when I jump out there, nigga, act like he ain't know what the fucking going on. Then that's what it was about. You know what I'm saying? Now, it's about, oh, you're playing. Okay, you're going to play. All right, cool. But how about for you all of it?
Starting point is 00:29:34 Because now I question your character. Well, so here's the thing, man. And I guess 50 cents somebody. known for a little while now. Talk to him publicly and privately. Okay. 50 doesn't give a damn about none of this versus none of it. He doesn't.
Starting point is 00:29:54 I argue with 50 cents sometimes like, yo, man, put out a, like hip-hop, like, just on some hip-hop-ish. His brain doesn't even process that comment of like caring about the game just on some hip-hopish. He doesn't, he's not that type of person. And so versus is for artists who care about the game. Y'all not baiting 50, I just don't see it, man. I don't see 50 cent wanting to show up and stand next to people.
Starting point is 00:30:26 He thinks he's bigger than y'all. He's got, he feels like he doesn't need it. And he's, and in some ways regarding not needing it, I think he's right. Well, from a business standpoint. But that's all he thinks about. That's all he cares about. By the way, that's all he cares about. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:43 He wants shows. He's been successful with these shows and he's trying to build his empire. You think he cares about music? If he wants to, he'll tour with his classics and make millions like he did last year. I think he does that for the team. Like that's kind of like for his guys and for his team. And also I think it helps probably his publishing his catalog in some way, shape, or form. But once again, it's still about business.
Starting point is 00:31:08 It's not for just for the love of. the game. I don't see 50 in a rush. He's a hustler. 50 cent is a hustler, man. And then, and hit on the other part. The other part. When you do hear a new 50 cent song, the last one he put out, you know what it was for? It was the intro to a TV show. Yes. That's where his heart is right now. Yeah, I don't think he cares about that. Laura, I think you're Mike disconnected. You may have to leave and come back with your mic. Oh, okay. That's what I think. I could be. Well, and on the 50 cent, T.I. thing. So 50 cent posts a picture of Tiny
Starting point is 00:31:43 saying, you know, saying, you know, keep my name out your mouth, blah, blah, blah. 50, why'd you have to go here, bro? I hate this. Why'd you have to go to that place? Is that because T.I. said, quote, now I question your
Starting point is 00:32:02 character. 50 was offended? That's the, that's the thing. I don't know why he always has to go to that place, but that's always the place I don't respect that he goes to. It's always some family, some next, he's just, that work by 50. I've never, like, I know his whole thing is, like, there's no line. It's just like, I feel like one day, if he matures as a human being, he will look back and be like, I didn't have to do all those things. I bet, I bet you if I went to his page right now, I bet you that's taken down.
Starting point is 00:32:36 You think he'll go look. You think he took it down? He always does that. He'll put up something like that and let the let the internet's eat it up and then take it down let me see nope still up never mind scratch that still up been up for 15 hours and people are in his comments like yo too far blah blah blah yeah it's it's and then boy that's sent do you want to play the video t i son because it sent t i son well yeah we could play t i son but he said a whole bunch of nothing but play t i son No, he has someone far also. No mama dead is Nigger.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Oh, dig that bitch up! How y'all buggish niggas I'm not raised like that. I don't go. I'm not going about my mama, nigga. I'm not going, nigga. So tell your dead-ass mama
Starting point is 00:33:27 dig her ass up and post a picture that looks better than my fucking mama, nigga. Okay, well, that's not. Wrong with you, nigga? Y'all nits better. Tie y'all shoes. Y'all nigs don't know who the
Starting point is 00:33:35 y'all. Thank you. Thank you. Well, I don't know if the threatening. I don't know if you, I don't know. That's what I said. I don't know. I don't know if that's a whole bunch of nothing.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Like, where are we going? Where are we going with all that? And T.I. has to be like, my man, let's not threaten. Let's not act like we're threatening. Let's not act like you're threatening 50. And T.I. Son grew up in a rougher situation than he did. I hate seeing him.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Yo, bro, stop. I don't care how gayster you act. You have been a rich kid your entire life. You need to stop. You need to stop. Well, it also just doesn't. You have the right to be offended. Of course, of course, of course.
Starting point is 00:34:14 But it also just doesn't need to go there. Right, right, right. It's his mom, though. It's his mom. But that's the thing. 50's the one who goes there. 50's always the one who goes. That's why I didn't want to play the clip
Starting point is 00:34:24 because it's his mom. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, how are you going to tell somebody to act when their mom's getting disrespected? No, that's the thing. Everything's out the window. You know what I'm saying? Like, you might all of a sudden forget that you've been rich your whole life
Starting point is 00:34:35 and be ready for action. My point, exactly. You don't know what people are capable of. That's true. You know what I mean? So, but all in all, I think it played out with now, T.I. And once again, I think this is why 50 don't jump on verses. He's not putting out new music because guess who's got an album out coming on the way?
Starting point is 00:34:55 And guess who dropped a disc record? T.I. Let's have a listen. All close eyes ain't sleeping. And all leafy scares ain't need you. Sleepish in the woke. I don't know how many times I told them. But please help off all my stoddle.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Because you can't have preyed me with a big prayer boy The stroke is for the longest out of pin that boy I'm a head man that the king won't get a sledge hammer for a headset Listen now build it from boy wouldn't exist Got a kite creak creak, what this shit don't even fit you Big doll talking little shit zoo Come on now you say you out did who Better settle down
Starting point is 00:35:35 Know the dog hold your head down Did a disc record better edit now I turn your head around Or the cap nigga better get a gal But I only pulling up a foreign car Oh you niggas won war Okay He ain't responding
Starting point is 00:35:54 He's not respond He's not He's not He says, not putting out a rap record. No. Well, and on that note, like, even when you look back at it, you know, Mano Jim Jones, Fab, and Dave East
Starting point is 00:36:05 was putting out records getting at 50. Yep. And then just also respond to them. Well, but also over the weekend, 50 was going at Jim Jones, hugging the owner of the building that I guess Jim and them partnered with and had video
Starting point is 00:36:21 literally the same night. So this guy's apparently Sam owned part of Jim Jones and Maino and NEM's podcast and owns the building where they do the podcast and 50 posted these videos do we have Jim Jones kicking in doors
Starting point is 00:36:43 God, this is so messy Now if you look at the day Okay, all right, all right If you look at the date at the top right corner than on the video. 50 cent had the video, so that date was what, Friday, Saturday? Thursday. He had the videos.
Starting point is 00:37:12 These went up the next day. Yeah. Somebody gave those to him, expeditiously. So the photo with Sam and 50, I mean, he must not be playing. And by the way, I don't know if y'all was paying attention back then. 50 said he was going to partner with the guy and buy the building. 50 is so petty I remember this whole fallout
Starting point is 00:37:34 he's so petty I haven't cared but I've heard it I mean this is just very 50 I'm not I like listen I'm amused by 50 at times and I respect the hell out of his rap career and the things he's done in business I'm not one of these people who follows
Starting point is 00:37:49 every 50 petty move like 50 the 50 hive of people who are just obsessed with him being petty and the second he drops in the interview they no, they're obsessed. Like I love and respect 50 for the things I love and respect them for. You're not in for all of that. But I'm going to tell you why I've been into this.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I've been into this because I was shocked that it turned into a thing between 50 and Mayo and Jim and all of them, even though there's kind of been some friction there for a long time. But I didn't know it would turn into 50 cent buying a building. So when he said he was going to do it, I was like, wait, I got to see this play out. Because I got to be honest with y'all If I had a lot of money I would do petty-ish like that It's impressive
Starting point is 00:38:35 No no no no If you want to if you want to know what Like why have a lot of money If you can't do petty-ish like that When people that you've had problems with Got something Got something to say about you And you'd be like you know what
Starting point is 00:38:52 Hold on a second Listen I respect I respect that part Having enough money where it's like changing your in your cigarette light next to your cigarette lighter in the car to just go cop a building. That is impressive. Let me, can I give you some positive hip hop real quick? Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Can we take a moment? Yo, guys, I did not expect when we had waited seven years for Cardi to come back. Not only was Cardi B. going to drop an album that people love and the comments can get mad. The last time I talked about this, the haters came out and said I was crazy. Sorry, her fans love her album. It's got a lot of winners on it. Of course. Her albums got fire on it, bro.
Starting point is 00:39:33 What's what he's talking about? Seven year gap? Now, I'm not saying it's as good as invasion of privacy. I don't know. You can debate that, but it's a really good project. But not only that. By the way, pause, pause right there. The only reason you could, I think this one's longer than invasion of privacy.
Starting point is 00:39:48 It is. Like, there's more tracks. And honestly, if you edit some of the redundancy out, it might be stronger than invasion of privacy. Because the, because the, the, good stuff is really good and she's developed a lot since then. That's right. But I didn't have it on my bingo card. That Cardi, who had never been a touring artist like that,
Starting point is 00:40:07 would work her ass off, spend the money needed, and do what I'm hearing from people who have been to the show is one of the best rap shows you will go to. Show the clip that we have of Cardi on tour. Cardi is bodying this tour right now. Like this is a storyline to pay attention to. It's not like she's just standing on stage and doing nothing. This is a true, true tour.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Yo, I like that. But the staging looked dope. Yeah, and the costumes are amazing. She's put a lot of time into those costumes. And the dancers are actually doing tons of stuff. There's, you, my manager went to the show in L.A. He's like, he's like, it feels like a freaking Beyonce, Lady Gaga. Like, it's crazy pyro.
Starting point is 00:41:13 tons of performance. I just don't think anyone expected Cardi to do it. And it's pretty cool that this has been what her comeback has been. I really, guys, I got to a point I thought if the second album ever came out it was going to flop and she would just
Starting point is 00:41:27 kind of become like social media Cardi. I really thought it was going to go the other direction. Yeah, she she nailed it. She came back. I'm excited to see her when she comes to New York. I'm excited. Are we in the building? Natalie's on me. I'm trying to get us tickets to give away here on the Ebro-Laure
Starting point is 00:41:43 Berger Experience show program. Oh, I love the Experience Show program. You know what I'm saying? That's what it is. And make sure you share and subscribe and do all of the YouTubey things to make sure the algorithm, you know what I'm saying? You got to click the button the Gang of Times
Starting point is 00:41:58 and make sure your friends know about the program. You know what I'm saying? Laura, do we have a merch update for merch supporters? Yes, yes, yes. So if anybody has any issues with any of their orders, make sure you guys email me at ELR merch at gmail.com. I've been taking care of people. We were supposed to start shipping today.
Starting point is 00:42:17 We got plans, but storm. So hopefully we could do it, maybe tomorrow or the day after. Also, put your order number in the email. Please, please, please. Don't just send the email. We need an order number so that we can do the proper research. Yes, yes, yes. You know there's going to be people who spam the email or just chat nonsense in there.
Starting point is 00:42:39 It's time. You know what I'm saying? It's time for the wrong. rundown with, hang on, I'm looking for the button. Let's go, let's go. Nope, nope, that's the ELR closed. Nope, no, no, no. Where's the rundown? Come on, come on.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Come on, dude. Where's the rundown? Listen, if I wanted this to be bad, I could have done the drops myself. I had it ready to go. Yeah, this is, I've been, maybe I didn't have it ready to go. All right. Damn, we don't, we don't, you know what? All right.
Starting point is 00:43:11 I got it. You want me to save the day here? Go out of here! Hold on. What you got? What you got? Yeah. Screen's on glow when she pulled up.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Headlines heavy, but we still caught up. Light still flashing. We don't slow up. Thanks, Pete. All right. You know, we do have to say RIP to Willie Colon. A salsa pioneer. I mean, listen, Willie helped build the soundtrack of an entire generation.
Starting point is 00:43:41 You know, part of Fania Records, you know, his legendary work will live on forever. But it's important, you know, I followed Willie Colon until he got weird. You know, all of us, anybody who followed Willie Colon, he just became like super right-wing, you know, posting all of this, like, Trump propaganda. It was sad to see. But remember, this is after, this is after he got upset with Hillary Clinton when he had his own political aspiration. then he got old and went like straight maga and was like posting like false misinformation memes like it's not what you want to see for you know
Starting point is 00:44:21 a legend by the way Willie Cologne was a pro-immigration pro-trans yes you know Latin activists bro has like a hit record about you know accepting a It was the story in the song about accepting someone because they were trans and got kicked out of home by their parents.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Like, that's one of his songs. We do have. We do have. We have a beautiful, we have a really good breakdown, actually, Ebro, that you shared that I thought this was pretty thorough. So let's watch this. The world is born in the passing of the great trombonist and musical composer Willie Colon. Born in the Bronx in 1950, Willie Colon began playing the trombone at a very early age. He was so good that by the age of 15, he was signed to the legendary Fania Records.
Starting point is 00:45:13 and he is responsible for some assa music's biggest and greatest records, and considered to be a pioneer of the genre. Back then, Willie made music with purpose. He was a social activist, involved in defending immigrants and spreading awareness about major social issues and the environment. His 1989 album Legal Alien includes his infamous record, El Gran Varum, where he sings about a transgender person disowned by their father and affected by the AIDS epidemic.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Now, Willie took a stab at politics. He served as a spokesperson for Mayor Dinkins, and unsuccessfully ran for a few public offices in New York. He served as a member of the United Nations Immigrant Foundation and a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Willie Colon was a champion and a voice for the marginalized. So it was a shock to the world when sometime around 2016, he began to publicly support Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Days before his death, he criticized Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance, even though Bad Bunny was a huge supporter of Willie Colon, with the trombonists even making a brief appearance in his controversial Nueva York music video. Now, it may be tough to disassociate our from someone that we beholden, a lot of our sweetest life memories to, but we can't allow this kind of toxic behavior to continue to drive a wedge through our communities. That right there's a great follow.
Starting point is 00:46:23 His name is From the Record underscore on Instagram. His name is Jose Torres. God I've been following for a while, but he does pieces like that, a really great music pieces. Thank you, Jose. No, that was your Rosenberg. And if you, I unfollowed him a while ago, but he was just straight, spreading all these, like, awful things about, like during Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance,
Starting point is 00:46:47 basically calling it trash and how people were not enjoying it. And then after he passes, Bad Bunny is praising him. Has it absolutely does a legend. Of course. Loved him. Yes, of course. Because Bad Bunny's going to do the right thing. And listen, it's sometimes you want to try to not remember people
Starting point is 00:47:05 by their worst attributes, but focus on, especially when they pass the best things that they contributed. I think we need way too much to ignore it. I try to factor in where people may be at at the end of their life. You know what I'm saying? Like financially where they are, do they have like unresolved bitterness issues due to the industries that they may have worked in and the people who have done harm to them throughout,
Starting point is 00:47:31 you know what I mean? And then you have just people who never went and got the mental health support that they may be needed. Because I don't know if you guys pay attention to it. but um and this isn't by the way all Republicans but this is for most of the Republicans that are
Starting point is 00:47:47 excited about what's taking place in their party or like where this whole MAGA thing has gone many of them have mental health issues like serious imbalance issues anger issues um it's not good
Starting point is 00:48:04 time and time again you keep seeing people uh who are just this spewing this much vitriol towards and by the way even I even said some of the some of the far left too some of the far left too
Starting point is 00:48:20 where you're like yo you're a little too caught up you're a little too wrapped up you're a little bit crazy with this you need to get checked on ebro the other day if you were to like I know we had a fun conversation amongst friends and we were like all presenting our different stuff
Starting point is 00:48:36 and I was saying hey I don't know if everything that you hear happened in the Epstein files means it happened. We all need to like continue to pay attention because some of it's crazy. Yo, if you looked in the comments, Ebro, you would have thought I went out there and was just like,
Starting point is 00:48:52 Trump is innocent? They're trying to come from my guy. The Epstein files are made up. Nothing's happened. Somebody's going to clip this piece right here. I know, I know. No, but like, but to your point, though, people don't realize that they are literally
Starting point is 00:49:09 so in their algorithm, they do not know that some of the thoughts and ideas they have are pretty out there and they are looking at them as straight facts. And if you even present that there could be something different, they think you've lost it, you've lost the plot and you're out of your mind.
Starting point is 00:49:25 And so, and so here's why people spiral is because you're talking about children and the murder of children and this kind of like sick, twisted I was going to send you guys there's an Oprah Winfrey thing from 1989 moving around
Starting point is 00:49:41 where there's a woman on the Oprah Winfrey show talking about her Jewish family and how for centuries they've been involved in having babies for the purposes of ritual sacrifice. Like that's moving around right now. And so I think... Of course it is.
Starting point is 00:49:58 That whole, like, humans who are into these Satan, who are Satan worshipers, basically, hiding inside religious cults, basically, is something that people have speculated for a long time. So now you have this Epstein thing. I don't think the Epstein thing is really Republican or Democrat. I don't look at it like that either.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I don't look at it like that at all. I look at it as elites who are into crazy-ish, who had no, they had no kind of regard for humanity or any of that, and they're into some weirdo-ish. Are they all ritualistic Satanists? I don't know. But some of them definitely the shoe fits. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:50:48 And I think that's why people spiral so much because you're talking about children. I get it. And by the way, they even date. No, no, no. That's why it's still a spiral. It is a spiral. I totally understood what you were saying, Rosenberg.
Starting point is 00:51:05 sometimes things are so crazy. You're just asking people to look deeper. Read, do a little research because it could muddy the waters and it's true. People were written. Yo, Rosemar, I had to defend you multiple times too. Bro. I was surprised by Rosamberg.
Starting point is 00:51:20 We were so disappointed. Bro, nothing that I said shows that I am not on the right side of history. I'm simply saying if you go on to a basic, your chat, GPT, or Gemini to help you sort through the things that already exist and say, can you show me that- Go on Claude. Everybody's saying you're supposed to be Claude Apple? Is Claude Apple? No, no, no, no. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:43 That's a different one. Claude is just the one that I guess the company is very, very focused on responsible AI. I'll get you the company. Claude. First time I'm hearing. The company that does it is responsible. Right. Yeah, allegedly. That's what people are saying.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Haven't done the research. Because a lot of people in the comments were going, you're Rosenberg, read the files. If y'all don't shut the F up like you've read the file, quote unquote, read the files. Guys, reading through pieces of the files of the millions and millions of pages, you guys acting as if you've been sitting there reading it and not just getting the specific parts highlighted that you've seen is a joke. And if you try to go ask any of these apps to go through it and say, can you give me if there's any credible proof of X, Y, or Z, they will blatantly tell you it's not.
Starting point is 00:52:33 So the other trouble that people are having right now is when you use the word credible. I think that's the part where people are really having a time discerning what and who is credible and based on who owns it, what the angle is, all of that. And I would say maybe you need to use a source like ground news. There you go. You know what I mean? And figure out where the sources come around. I love ground news.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Because I really, I'm similar where it's like some of this stuff is too far. this way. Some of this stuff is too far that way. I just want somebody to aggregate stuff in a certain place and give me the slant and the focus and whatever. But Claude AI is ran by a company named Anthropic. Anthropic was founded in 2021 by former people who worked at Open AI, which I think is ChatGPT. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:25 The reason they left is because they wanted to start a company that had a focus on AI safety and developing more reliable, interpretable, AI systems. Okay, okay, which is important. So Claude AI. Now, I haven't used it. Don't know if it's good or easy or all the things. I don't know if you guys have also noticed
Starting point is 00:53:50 there's some IG content creators who are talking about, you know, a movement to unattach yourself or I guess unsubscribe from all of these different apps and AIs and platforms. And also admitting while they're doing it that they have to use platforms to actually tell people that they're doing the thing that they're asking you to do, which is its own rabbit hole. But some people are just taking themselves all the way off TikTok, all the way off all the things, and focusing on IG, Blue Sky, and...
Starting point is 00:54:31 What's the other one they're saying? People are, and, you know, people have their problems with Zuckerberg, but I guess because now you have the, what's the family name, the Ellison family, and pretty much controls the TikTok, the U.S. version of TikTok. People are trying to get out of that. CBS, TikTok. I mean, you know, last week they let this guy from UFC say the most horrible things like anyone's ever said on a microphone, and there were no repercussions leading into his fight.
Starting point is 00:55:00 This guy, Sean Strickland. What was you saying? Not surprised. Ants. Like when I say anti, I don't mean like giving light political opinions. He called bad bunny the F word multiple times. Came after gay people, transgender people, said some weird racist anti-black stuff. He just nonstop said no one.
Starting point is 00:55:25 He checked all the boxes. Who watches women's sports, no one ever cares about women's sports. They're not good athletes. I mean, he just went on and on. No repercussions. He still fought on Saturday night. That's it. No one cares.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Well, is that their attempt to try to be like, like that, make him a bad guy? Or they were celebrating it? He's been doing this. Like, he's been doing this. This is just who he is. But because UFC is an actual legitimate sport, you would think there would be some sort of regulation, is your point against this kind of talk. I know Dana White believes in, like, not regulating speech.
Starting point is 00:56:01 But this is the definition when we talk about, but you can't go, you know, yell fire in a crowded movie theater. That's basically what he's doing. He's just screaming horrible things to try to incite people. You would think there'd be a line where Dana White would back, hey, dude, we let people express themselves, but this is, you're just being hateful. But no, no.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Nah, they're going to defend it as freedom of speech. But anyway, guys. They cut his mic in the post press conference, but that's it. So I don't know if you guys saw this, but Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were present. the first award of the night at the BAFTA Awards, which is the British Academy Film Awards in London. Now, this went viral because a man by the name of John Davidson,
Starting point is 00:56:42 okay, who is a Caucasian man with Tourette syndrome, yelled the N-word while they were presenting it. Yell the N-word. Everyone's quiet. They're presenting and you hear it. Now, we have a video. Obviously, the N-word is edited, but watch them. We edited it.
Starting point is 00:57:06 Delro and I are delighted to be presenting the first BAFTA of the night for a vital part of movie making. We're here to celebrate. There you go, Delroy. Stay focused. Hour delay, I'm told, Laura. I'm told the show was on an hour delay. Which is crazy. Still managed to have that N-word get in there. So real quickly, the host, Alan coming leader, asked for understanding.
Starting point is 00:57:32 And, you know, he was saying, like, you know, this can be a part of how Tourette's syndrome, shows up for some people. You know, that man is the inspiration behind a award-winning movie, I swear, which dives into the condition of Tourette's. F-G out of here. But, bro, you couldn't have edited that out? F-Gar out of here. I don't-
Starting point is 00:57:50 I-H-O-E-H! Especially if there's a delay? All right, so the F-Out-of-here was for the people managing the delay. Right. The F-Out of here is also for like, so two black people are on stage, the applause go immediately silent. and that just happens. But why those words?
Starting point is 00:58:13 That's what I've never understood when people say about why those words. Why are the words aligned with slander for the person that is on the stage or that you're talking to? Does that mean, is the way Tourette's works means the words have been input in your memory bank? You see a thing and you don't have controls
Starting point is 00:58:34 over the words coming out? but the words are in the memory bank. Correct. That is how it works. But that means that you thought the words. Does that mean you did, but we can't prove what you thought? Well, think about it like this, right? If you were, if any of us had Tourette's, and I'm just guessing here, based on what I've
Starting point is 00:58:58 seen on both social media and some documentaries and knowing a couple people with Tourette's over the years. If we have, we all have bad words in our head that exist. know what would be the least appropriate thing to ever be said. I think that's what the tick can be like. So you would just be talking, you would be talking right now and all of a sudden I'd call you a slur just because you're talking. So that means my brain thought that slur, but I couldn't, but it's in a part of my brain
Starting point is 00:59:24 that I can't control. You're like, it sounds like you're questioning Tourette's being real, which I, I, no, no, I'm questioning why is the word aligned? Like, it will be one thing if they just screamed. out shit or or mother effer or you know what I'm saying that's what I'm trying to say why did you go inward why because I'm sure there were other people on stage who weren't inwards did the inward fly out then okay listen listen we have a in the chat sovereign WMN she says I've worked in mental health in neuropsychology for 20 years Tourette's is not controllable but definitely
Starting point is 01:00:06 not specific, this dude needs to apologize. But definitely not specific? That's what she says. I just... I've been watching a lot on social media of people seeing people with Tourette's say racial slurs and being like, nah, bra, nah. Listen, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I don't think that's how it works. I feel like... Well, and that's why I'm asking. Like, for instance, for instance, for instance, they walked out on stage there were people applauding why didn't it happen while people were applauding why did it happen
Starting point is 01:00:43 maybe I don't know but why did it happen when it was you wouldn't have heard it right but if it did happen when they were applauding wouldn't have his is person or people helped him not have the next moment I don't think that's happening I think the question is should you leave
Starting point is 01:00:59 now that's a question for me like if you feel if it starts once Should you just get up and run out? Like if I can't stop this And I'm at an award show, I'm not on my front porch. Maybe I need to leave. Because you can control that. But I will tell you guys, I have a couple of follows.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Not follows. I have a couple of people with Tourette's who are in my algorithm who I see. The one girl. The one girl. I've said you guys the girl before. Yeah, yeah. I watch it. It's amazing to me.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Yo, she's with her mom, hanging out with her mom and talking about sucking D's and give me all the Ds and the she's saying the worst sexual horrifying stuff to say in front of your mom possible So once again
Starting point is 01:01:44 That's not I mean it's a specific But it's not specific at The mom But it's specific you wouldn't want to talk about That stuff in front of your mom Right but I'm only questioning You specifically said racial slurs
Starting point is 01:01:59 For the people on stage You saw them and your uncontrollable part of your brain locked in on the slur. That's all I'm questioning. Because it could have been, it could have been a lot of other, he could have,
Starting point is 01:02:13 he could have screamed out, S my D. Or the F word. But maybe, again, we are three people completely speculating on an illness we don't know that much about. Well, I'm hoping somebody, hope somebody emails us and gives us some message.
Starting point is 01:02:26 But if your brain, if your brain knows what the most inappropriate thing is, which they do. They know what the worst things are. These are normal people in that way. They're cognitively smart. You know what the, you know what the worst thing is.
Starting point is 01:02:41 So seeing two black dudes on stage, somewhere in your brain, you know what's the worst possible thing that you could do. And is that the way the trigger goes? It's like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I'm sure I'm getting hammered.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Rosenberg's okay with people saying to N-Wort. He's just explaining. I think that the clips I see people say the worst. It's just always so often it's the worst stuff. But this one is so timely and so like on point that it's like, bro. And I got a shout out Michael B. Jordan Delroy Lindo. They just stay focused. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because you know me, I'd have been like, what, bitch? What do you say? Wait, what? Who said that? Wait, hold on. Hold on. Who said that?
Starting point is 01:03:35 Ebro ends up attacking the guy who was nominated. His film was nominated that night. He was nominated for Derex. About explaining to write. Because of the dog, no, no, no. Now, I beat your ass. Yes. Oh, producer, Grym said he won.
Starting point is 01:03:49 He won. Andy, with the movie won. All right, listen, you guys know I'm not all the way buying it. I think it was promo for his movie. Oh, God. Terrible promo. I mean, we're talking about it. I might watch.
Starting point is 01:04:03 You know what's going on? Let's see if this guy's for real. Exactly. It's promo. It's all promo. Now, I got a shout out Coogler. Cougar was the first black person to ever win the director award at BAFTA.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Wow. Amazing. For the script, like for original script. No, director or original screenplay? I thought it was for a director of an original screenplay. I thought that's what it was. Correct me if I'm wrong, chat and, uh, and, uh, and Griffin.
Starting point is 01:04:31 I'll be honest, it doesn't sound right, but it could be. Um, but direct, either way, it was for directing centers, though. Yes. That's dope. Yeah, nah, he was shocked, too. Shock. Oh, that's what it is. Best Original Screenplay.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Oh, he won for Best Original Screenplay. Got it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So not for directing, for writing. Man, there's so much more. We got to wrap this up, though. Do we? I mean, I have had a great time.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Do you want to get to the lowdown or not? I mean, I don't really, the, that, that, I don't really have a lowdown, but I... Look, I just want to get to the lowdown because I want to play the intro. You know how I get down. Yeah, but I'm not taking you to the hell. I'm not taking you to hell. Do I have the lowdown?
Starting point is 01:05:07 Stop. Don't play with you. Hold on to your speakers. The time for the lowdown with Laura Stey. I think I just took you to hell with that, with the Bafters, because that to me was so nuts. That was low down. That was...
Starting point is 01:05:29 Yeah, man. Listen, but the whole thing where they want people who don't understand, to be like patient and have understanding, bro, you yelled out the N-word. You know, I'm sorry, if you got problems or not, the same way you're triggered and your brain gets triggered and you got Tourette's, guess what? I'm triggered, I'm triggered too.
Starting point is 01:05:48 And I don't like it when they're like, if you were offended, it's offensive. Like, if, or those of you who were offended, like, fuck out of here. To me, that's probably the most egregious thing. Because how did you have to say, we apologize, something happened, it was a offensive.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Yes. There's no if. It wasn't just some people. That was objectively offensive that it happened. Thanks. All right. Listen, we got one more piece of content to get to here on the Ebro Laura Rosenberg show.
Starting point is 01:06:18 The Garaloo. Okay. Oh, that didn't work. Guru? Yeah, we got to get to the gurus. That's right. Originals. Let's do it.
Starting point is 01:06:29 Hey, yo, it's stop with the gurus. Rosenberg. It's all right. You know you are. beautiful queen. Ebro, don't ever play yourself. You're not a guru. Hey, hey, practice guru.
Starting point is 01:06:50 As you fought to your guru. What is his hand? I've been side-eye. Constant bickering. The girls get involved. I know they look at him differently. And if I'm being honest, so do I. It's hard to separate good dad from what are you thinking.
Starting point is 01:09:15 I'm 47. I've been a mom my whole life. I don't know anything else. So what do I do? Is this just political? differences or is this a values issue? Do I call cast one and have him burn it all down? Or do I learn to live with it and protect my peace?
Starting point is 01:09:32 Pray for me, gurus. Sincerely, a tired mama trying to keep the house from turning into a debate stage. Oh, my goodness. This is deeper than rap, guys. Well, isn't there a world where, you know, look, you guys, you guys have a house of eight or maybe some people have moved out now. So the oldest is 23. 26.
Starting point is 01:09:55 So however many people are still left in the house, there's at least five people still in the house. There's going to always, and this is what I'm told from people who grew up in large families, there's always a time when somebody in the house is wild and doing something crazy and they have to get iced out. You know what I mean? Like where it's just kind of like the family is not agreeing with you. It's just not going to happen.
Starting point is 01:10:19 And so this might be one of those scenarios. Yeah, and the sad part is because of the way, you know, I know it hurts because she's raising Latino women, the sexism, the racism, the equality issues, like everything. And I know they all feel it deep because, you know, guys, let's not act like my cheesebook doesn't run rampant in our community. So I think that it breaks their hearts because, oh, whoa, we pay with it when it hit home. stupid. I see Donald Trump called seven years later in that case. I will say this. As it applies to your significant other
Starting point is 01:14:18 with some of their behavior and mistreatment of things happen, they're incapable of actually being different. Bro, you got to hit yourself with the button. But don't you think, congratulations. Is it possible? There is a certain level of, oh, it's okay now for me to let my guard down.
