Just don't call in a podcast.
The Ebro-Lora Rosenberg Show.
All right, ladies and gentlemen.
Okay.
Ebro, Laura Rosenberg.
And introduce me to your new friend.
Ladies and gentlemen, I mean, you already don't.
You know what I mean?
This guy is, uh, did he wear the lemon pepper stepers?
He brought the, he brought the lemon pepper step.
Uh, four, Ebro.
Look, look, look.
Show the, could he show the lemon pepper steppers?
There you go. There you go. There you go.
There you go. The man is Trick Williams, the hottest up-and-coming star in all of WWE.
Had a big, big showing at the elimination chamber. And now I know you're a big deal because they got you out here talking about Raw coming to Madison Square Garden and WrestleMania coming to Las Vegas.
Talk about it.
So there's...
WrestleMania Las Vegas sounds great. Has that happened before?
Yeah, last year. Last year.
Really? I missed that completely.
Yeah, that sounds festive.
It's funny. What, Ebro, it's a great word.
for it is festive.
But now, Trick has been on the rise, and we found out he was going to be in town and found out he could drop by for the beginning of the show so we could at least...
I wanted to at least let you guys meet this, man, because this is a true new star that the WWE has been fortunate enough to stumble upon.
Can't say stumble upon, though.
You've been at this.
You're 31, right?
You've been grinding at this for a minute.
I'm 31, man.
You had to say it like that.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
I'm 31.
I'm still young blood in the game, though.
You're very much a young blood.
But like this has been a, you started the wrestling training after your football career.
You went to Hampton?
I went to Hampton.
The real H.U.
The real H.U.
You know Howard got something to say about that.
I didn't go to Howard, but I just see y'all arguing all the time.
You know my trick.
You know my game.
I do it for everyone, Howard or Hampton.
I always go to the real H.U.
Oh, oh, you know what's the world.
That's right.
I went to Hampton University QT9 for those who know.
Then I transferred my sophomore year to the University of South Carolina, which is home for me.
And walked on and worked my way up to start.
playing ball, eventually making a camp
for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dope got cut from there and then
found my way in WWE tryout and been
wrestling. That was through XFL that you
made it to WVW? XFL, yeah.
And by the way, your man said,
wrestling. No, he did. He's from South Carolina.
I'm from South Carolina, man.
But what is it that sparked your interest to even
try out? Well, you know, to be honest
with you, I've always been a fan
of wrestling. Like, I grew up on Stonecold,
Steve Austin, and the Rock.
Matter of fact, at three years old, I opened a can of
whoop-ass. My mama said I got to stop watch a restaurant. Oh, really? I always been in the game,
you know what I'm saying? But I just never thought about, oh, I want to pursue this for myself.
Right. So, you know, once football ended, and then, man, I got an email from WWE said,
are you interested in coming for a tryout? Oh, so they came to you. They came to me.
Wow. And what had they seen that was like, hey, this might be for you? You know, and I'm still
trying to figure this out to this day. Like, I don't know. I think the paperwork got mixed up.
You know what I mean?
And it was just supposed to be, you know what I mean?
I feel at home, you know what I mean?
Being a WWE superstar is where I'm supposed to be.
Got it.
That's so cool.
But are you, have you been at all overwhelmed?
Because like, you know, when, so basically in WWE, you know, as you guys I think may know by now,
most of the times people go to NXT and develop there.
NXT is the development territory.
But at the same time, it's on TV.
It's on CW every Tuesday night.
It's its own big show.
And it's got its own story.
And that's how you really build your fan base.
Correct. And then hopefully you get an opportunity to go Raw or SmackDown. And when people go to Raw or Smackdown, everyone has a different sort of arrival. Some people, it's slower. Some people it's quicker. I don't know what I expected your reception to be like, but I can say assuredly, I didn't think it was going to be like the loudest pop of the night every night. Are you surprised that it's been this crazy on Smackdown for you?
Man, I'm grateful.
You know what I mean?
I thank God every single morning.
Because you never know how people are going to take to you.
So, I mean, I had to walk out there with confidence.
Well, now Rosenberg tells me you got a cheat code, though.
What's that?
Your name.
Okay.
I didn't say the name, but the name is fine.
Well, the name, which also happens to have a popular song that goes with it.
That's right.
That's right.
From, you know, Terrence Howard to Terrence Howard movie.
Hustle and flow.
Hustle and flow.
So you come out and they're going, whoop, that trick.
That's right.
That's right.
And people say cheat code.
When people, they're trying to figure out the algorithm
to why I'm so hot as I am today.
And they say, you know, it's only because you're 6 foot 5.
It's only because you're 250.
It's only because you got eight abs.
It's only because you're athletic.
It's only because you're teeth white.
It's only because you talk so good.
It's only because your name is Trich Williams.
I mean, you take all that away.
That's not a chee-go.
Then I'm just a regular wrestler now, you know what I'm saying?
Because, you know, the magic is in me.
It's not in the game.
That's right.
But if I'm being real, my birth name is Matric.
So Trick was always a nickname.
You were always tricked.
I was always tricked.
Wow.
So that's what I'm saying.
I'm just...
Well, but the fact that you got a song already
that everybody knows off top, though.
No, real quick,
did the whip that trick start?
Did Booker start to whoop that trick?
Because that was always there.
That's the special thing about it.
Pete, you got to understand.
People say, it's the intro song.
If you listen to the intro song,
it's the instrumental.
That means anybody,
anytime you ever heard whoop that trick,
it's the crowd doing it.
It's the crowd doing it.
I never told anybody to whoop that trick.
I never said, go watch hustle and flow.
Right, right.
I mean, shout to my man Al Capone.
He's the original songwriter of Whoop That Trick.
He gave me the co-sign.
Oh, nice.
It is what it is.
I never told nobody to whoop that trick.
That's fire.
That's crazy.
So did it start, though, in commentary, or did it start with the fans just doing it?
It started with the fans.
Wow.
So it was the NXT fans.
So we got to show love to those fans.
And shout out to the NXT fans, man.
Shout out to the NXT.
And I'm guessing from, how long were you to NXT?
Man, five years.
So you have to know some of those people.
Like, there are people that you saw, I'm guessing,
on the regular. On a week to week basis
for four years straight while
being on TV. So you have to have a lot of faces
in that crowd. You know that guy?
I know that girl. I know them. You know what I mean?
Because it's in the same location. It's in Orlando.
Every week.
And they've been loyal to us, man. Shout to the NXT
fans. They show up every single week
and they loud and they excited.
And, you know, that's how special it was because
we was in Orlando for such a long time.
And of course he was whipping that trick there.
But we went all the way across the country
to L.A. or something like that.
And once whooped that trick, you know, it crossed the country for the first time in front of like $5,000 or whatever it was.
It was like, oh, shoot, look at what has started now and the momentum's just never slept down.
And then, hold on.
And then when you started at Smackdown, correct me if I'm wrong, you were immediately in Europe, weren't you?
Yeah, well, I did one week in Buffalo.
Okay.
I interrupted Samizane.
Right.
And then Germany, Montreal, Toronto.
In Germany, they're chanting whooped that trick.
They don't even know hustle and flow like that in Germany.
Hey, come on stop.
They won an Oscar, bro.
Like, what are we talking about?
It's huge.
I guess it was.
I know you came for you guy, but listen,
Saudi Arabia, though.
They know it.
They were whooping.
They only speak English.
Yeah, bro.
No, but it's hip-hop.
If you know anything about hip-hop,
you're going to touch you all over the world.
Hold on, but what we're not going to do is pretend like whooped that trick the song in the movie,
as much as the great catchphrase for Trick Williams.
We're not going to act like that song was out.
People were playing bump and whoop that trick every day in the street.
No, no, I just think it was just popular.
It was popular at the time.
The truth is, it was meant to be.
It was meant to be.
It's a perfect collider.
Y'all making it seem like I'm trying to move against him.
I'm not even doing that.
I'm actually saying it's a plastic.
Do we need to have a match or something?
I'm saying, listen.
Hey, Pete, book it.
WrestleMania 42?
No, listen, you know, he could tell you the story of how he almost lifted up John Cena.
No, listen, I had to go at him.
I had to go at him.
I had to go at him.
I had to go at him, lift him up.
There was witnesses.
When Cina was doing promo and like,
for the album.
That's a while ago.
Oh, yeah, that long enough ago that you could mess around with a wrestler in the studio
and someone went and run in and go, oh, my God, please don't do that.
Oh, yeah, yeah, no, it was definitely before people started stepping in worried about
lawsuit.
Yeah, so Ebro always tells his story that he tried to lift up John, and he's like, no, I had
him up, but then John decided to not let him pick him up.
Right, right, right.
He's a big boy.
Leave down on him.
Did you get to have any moments with John on the way out?
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Well, I guess before the way out, but he came to NXT, and, you know, he sits down.
He loves paying it forward, talking to the young talent and, you know, just sharpening
up your mindset on the business.
So he's always been great for us.
Your athleticism, your ability to stay healthy, right, like all of that.
Talk about that because that's something that I've heard for you.
And obviously, I hear a lot from Rosenberg, too.
Right.
Yes, you have a song that people know.
Yes, you have all these other God-given gifts.
Yes, you're, you know, but you have to be great in that ring for real wrestling fans
to really embrace you, right?
So we could talk all of, people could talk all the trash they want about you being new,
but you still have to show up and put on a great show and they're going to critique you heavy.
But talk about leaning in on that.
Right.
So, as you know, I had a football background.
Yeah.
So for 20 years, I played, I was an offensive guy.
I played wide receiver where if you good at football, the goal is to stay off the ground.
You know, my first day had becoming a WWE superstar.
You learn how to fall, flip, cartwheel, and everything but stay on your feet.
Yeah.
You know, that messes with your mind automatically as is right there.
But, you know, what we do as performers is like nothing else because we intertwine
everything that entertainment has to offer and put it all into one.
You have to be aware of, you know, TV, you have to be aware of the audience.
You got to be able to cut a promo when you're out of breath.
You got to be able to be athletic and you got to be able to show your body on this side.
You know, we are ultimate performers.
You know what I mean?
And you can't really compare it to much else.
And then, you know, we get down to dirty.
It's physical as well.
So it's a special thing.
And it just takes years and years and years of grinding to become really good at the crap.
Do you feel you're good yet?
Like in the ring now that you've been in there because the other day you were in there with Randy.
You were in there with Cody.
Javad obviously a really great talent that was in there.
Do you feel that you're good yet?
Like what level do you think you're at?
Because as long as you've been doing it,
You're still early in the game for this whole thing.
Well, I would say my mindset, and the reason I've even gotten this far is because, man, I have a perfectionist mindset.
So even after a good match, I never feel like I'm there.
You know what I mean?
I'm always picking apart everything that I do and say, I got to work on this.
I got to work on that.
You know what I mean?
So, no, I don't feel like I've hit my max potential yet.
You know, I'm ready to keep grinding.
That's what keeps me.
And how many years now?
out of NXT.
Oh no, he's brand new at NXT.
Two months.
Two months.
Two months.
Two months on your show.
Let's talk about it.
Let's talk about it.
Now, that's incredible, man.
And then, and then how do you now get your mind ready for the long haul, right?
I hear we've had a number of wrestlers up.
Shout to WWE and Rosenberg's relationship over there.
So a lot of people come through.
But watching people try to do this for, you know, eight, ten years on the road.
You guys are on the road, what, eight months out of the year, something crazy like that?
No, 12 months.
12 months 12 months I mean first and first shout out to Nick con and and triple
8 for you know where they put the business at today because we're all over the world
yeah we're on ESPN you know mean we on your show yeah we we we everywhere so I mean
mentally like while things is going hot I just got to ride this momentum I got to go crazy
every single Friday I'm trying to go live in the moment I'm living in and stay healthy I'm
throwing everything now but hold on they did this just crossed my mind they did sort of
simplify your life though you and your
lady got put on the same show. That's right. Yes, my
fiance is the tag team
champion of the world. Oh, you got a whole
romance going on. Yeah.
I tried to tell you I was the real day.
I just want to chew my own horn, you know.
Wait, so everybody love you
and now they get to a relationship
too? Now they got my relationship. Ah, you're winning,
bro. I'm being honest with you. My lady, she's more athletic to me.
She played basketball, Texas A&M,
and Mississippi State, drafted to
Seattle Storm, and she just happened,
say, I want to go to a trial of wrestling
herself. When did she get there? She got
two months before me.
Oh, wow, you guys are the exact same timeline.
I didn't even realize that.
Wait, did you guys meet there?
We met there.
Oh.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, okay.
That's a whole other story.
I don't know if we got that much time.
No, but that's, I got time.
No, listen, and Lash may be one of, last legend.
Lash legend.
Lash legend.
Lash legend may be one of the only people who, like, jumps off the TV more than
trick as far as when you see or you go, who is that?
You just, you just got a fan.
You got, like, she is.
Bro, the first time I saw her,
she's beautiful.
She's super jacked up in athletic.
She's...
I was going to say, are you...
Calm down with the adjectives, though.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
All right, we're good.
She's got it all, bro.
And she's really good in the ring,
and she's just unique.
She's like a powerhouse,
but she's still very feminine.
She's got a lot of different things
that make her interesting.
She's special.
Do y'all critique each other's work?
Do you guys have those kind of convos?
Like, since you met at work
and you guys are kind of,
on the same path, which is, listen, I'm going to tell you, it's hard to be in a relationship at work.
Like, that's no matter what you're in.
Yeah, I mean, at first, you know, I mean, it was kind of fresh, you know, honeymoon, like,
yeah, we can do this and this.
Now, I don't say nothing.
Everything she did is perfect.
Oh, y'all in a real relationship.
That's how you know it's real.
What's your word?
Man, that was their word.
Oh, baby, beautiful.
That was magic.
I didn't worry about myself now.
There you go.
Now, I have heard this, though, from all the couples that are in WWE.
What are your nerves like when she has a big moment?
Because everyone says that the nerves for watching their partner
is always way worse than the nerves for your own match.
I agree, but except for Lash, though, because you got to understand,
Lash is the biggest, strongest.
You know what I mean?
I'm worried about everybody else she in the ring with more than I'm worried about her.
So, you know, like, she got it, man.
Like, she's good.
Now, Baskin, you got the photo I sent you?
Here's a photo.
Here's a little photo I got for you to check out.
Throw that up there, Bascom.
Yeah.
I don't know if you remember when I snapped this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And Saudi, tell the people about that moment right there.
You and Oba Femi right before the Royal Rumble.
I just thought it was cool to see you guys standing there right before that moment.
Yeah, man.
Oba is actually a really good friend of mine, man.
Like, man, we compete.
It's a healthy, you know, competition that we have.
But, you know, he came from NXT at the same time as me.
And, you know, and he's making name for himself on the main roster.
just like I am.
You know what I mean?
He's the ruler.
Yeah.
Well, I think it's beautiful you have all of these people
that you're close to on this journey.
I appreciate it.
Right?
Like, I think that's something, you know,
as much as the, you know,
the flashing lights and the big records,
everybody hooting and hollering and the signs
and traveling around the world,
all that stuff is great,
the abs and the workouts and all that.
But I think everybody can relate to, you know,
like when you start on a journey
that you know is a big challenge,
you know, having somebody or people,
a community of individuals
that are kind of going through it with you at the same time.
I think that's just another one of your blessings.
For sure.
So salute to you for that, man.
Man, God is good, man.
Yeah, man.
I give God the praise every day.
No, man.
Y'all, give it up, man.
Trick, man.
Come on, man.
I thought you're going to talk some more trash, man.
I'm still trying to get this match going.
No, no.
I'm 50 years old, man.
My knees ain't got it.
I ain't got it.
You look good for 50, man.
I wouldn't guess that.
Now, real quick, though.
If you want to ride a bike or something,
man.
Listen, if you want to talk bite talk,
you want to battle in miles with this man.
That's what you do?
Listen, that's all you got left when your knees is gone.
Man, it's too cold out here, man.
Nah, they got close.
What was the last time you were outside, though?
I went out a couple of weeks ago.
You did?
It was like 38.
Before the second blizzard?
Yeah, yeah, actually like that day.
You got out right before the second blizzard.
He does an insane amount of miles.
No, he's putting up miles to sky.
What's the most?
What's the most you've ever done?
130 in a day?
Oh, whoa.
130 miles in a day.
That's like to South Carolina and back.
Yeah, that's quite.
Not quite.
Not quite.
Now, real quick, I do want to get the plugs in.
WrestleMania is coming up in Las Vegas.
If you have never been to WrestleMania before.
You went to Vegas for WrestleMania last time?
I did.
I did.
And I completely forgot.
It was a movie.
And we're back again this year.
And it's the hottest show in Las Vegas, man.
And was that last time the first time it was in Vegas?
No, the first one was WrestleMania 9.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's 30-some years ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Now, but this one, though,
WrestleMania in Vegas,
you don't yet know,
listen,
I'm assuming you are going to be on this card.
I don't know what you know.
Obviously,
you're not going to say what you know,
but what level of anticipation,
excitement do you have?
Because I have to imagine
they want to hear those 808
and have that moment
for Trick Williams at WrestleMania 42.
Yeah, I mean,
I'm like you,
I don't know anything either,
but I would imagine.
I would love to have a match
during WrestleMania.
All jokes aside,
like, I mean, that's what it's all about.
you know, I want a main event,
WrestleMania.
That's why you get into business.
If you don't want to wrestle at WrestleMania, then...
Well, see, I thought for a moment it was going to be you and Randy
when I first saw you guys interacting,
which would have been awesome.
Did that cross your mind, maybe?
Can we say something about Randy?
Yes, we can.
He's still on his tippy toes and said that I'm not six-five.
Let's go.
Me and Randy Orrin are the same size.
Let's go.
He just got quads.
That's the only difference.
That's something right now.
Come on.
Randy is a freak of a man, bro.
He's the freak, but trick is freaky.
Yeah.
If you think it might be you and Randy, though, when you guys started interacting a little bit?
If that's what he wanted to do.
But it's not going to be that because now Randy has...
Because he won the match.
Yeah, Randy won the match.
So he's out.
I understand.
So now I don't know where it would go.
But it's interesting because you, Obafemi, and Javon Evans, three rookies.
I can't picture any of you guys not being on WrestleMania.
It's a very unique time in that way.
It's a very unique situation.
That's what I say, man.
Shout out to, you know, Nick Con and Triple H.
for, you know, they're giving young guys
like us an opportunity. Bringing in
a young new talent. Fresh legs, fresh looks,
fresh ideas. When's
the Garden Raw, Domino?
On March 30th. On March 30th.
On the road to WrestleMania, Raw is also
back at Madison Square Garden. Listen, I hope people
get the opportunity to whip that trick
at MSJ. You never know, I might just
pop out, you know what I mean, give you all the heads
up. Y'all want to come to the show?
Yes. Hello.
When the last time y'all been to a show? Y'all been to a car?
Rosenberg got his tickets, and I took my
I took my daughter.
Was it the MSG house show?
Maybe.
Was it over the holidays a couple years ago, maybe?
I probably need to go to Raw.
Issa would like to go to Ro.
There's no better time in the world to come to a WWE show than today.
I'm there serious.
If you want to pull up, pull up on the 30th, it's going to be crazy.
No, no, no.
The shows are amazing.
I always say it's the most diverse fan base.
Like you'll see grandpas to like little kids, to rappers, to like everything.
I know you love it, but you know it's true.
Yeah, yeah.
No, it's definitely, it's just as diverse as our talent.
Real quick, we have a couple of questions before you that.
You go from the EL Army.
Okay.
All right, from the EL Army, that's our people out there, the EL Army.
Who are your idols coming up to in the game as you built your career?
Oh, man, Stone Cold, the Rock, Book of Tea.
Simple.
Perfect.
I've heard people throw out some comps with you and some of those cats.
Biggest inspiration for your drip slash style, asked Jay Hernandez.
My uncle's sweet baby James.
He had to first coach.
I ain't saying he's a pimp, but he, you know, he know how to rock the gear.
Pimpish.
He's pimpish, you know what I mean?
He shows some pimpish qualities.
By the way, sweet baby James, another playback to Whitesh Wednesday,
because you know that's a song by James Taylor.
Yes, it is.
There you go.
Dream match, Jack wants to know.
Oh, man, Roman Rains.
Roman Rains.
Listen, him and Siam Punk.
Why is that your dream match?
Because, to me, he's the top of the business today.
Okay.
You know what I mean?
He's the one who put the business on his back for, what,
13, 16 days, if I'm not mistaken.
Yep.
You know, you know.
Over 1,300 days.
Yeah.
So that's how I am, man.
I jump for, man, look, I've been jumping for a very long time.
I walked on to the University of South Carolina.
I walked on to the NFL as crazy as that sounds.
You know what I mean?
Like, whatever the task is, like, I want the best.
And Roman Raines has proven to be the best.
And how do you feel about more black superstars getting the opportunity versus back in
the day to get some light?
Man, I'm grateful.
You know what I mean?
Like you just said how crazy it is,
that myself, Javon, and Obafemi,
should all three be having a match at WrestleMania as rookies?
I don't think you can say that ever
has been possible at a time in, you know,
WWE history.
Yeah, it's a very cool moment.
If I'm not, it's been a while since,
you know, a single black talent superstars
had a one-to-one match
during WrestleMania, period.
Right, it's a lot of tag teams.
It's a lot of tag teams,
you know what I mean,
for whatever the scenario is.
It's not because, you know.
And women have, you know,
Bianca's had her share matches. Jade will be back at WrestleMania again against Raybill
Ripley but for singles men. Right, right. Yeah. That's not shade to, you know, all the
brothers who've been doing it before me because it's so talented and I learn from a lot of
them. But you know, I'm just saying how grateful I am for this moment of time. Yeah.
You know, we get the ball. Trick way. Thank you for coming through, bro.
Thank you. Thank you. Great to meet you. Yeah. Give it up one time.
Excited to you. There's go, man. Listen, man, WWE, you said Raw March 30 and then
WrestleMania is
WrestleMania is coming up in Las Vegas
April 19th the 20th
18th to 19th sorry last year was 19th
18th and 19th WrestleMania 42
Allegiance Stadium Las Vegas
on ESPN unlimited of course
but come in person it's an experience
unlike anything else we don't have talk about it
We will see you soon brother thank you for coming through
Thank you all all right peace let's get to the run down
Laura you ready for the run down? Yes yes yes I'm ready
Let's do it
Let's do it up
screens on glow when she pulled up
Headlines heavy, but we still caught up
Light still flashing, we don't slow up
Up, up, up
I mean, listen, Diddy is coming home
a little early.
I heard this.
He completed, like, this drug treatment
behind bars, so he's going to walk free
on April 25, 2028.
Okay.
Instead of the original June 4th, 2020s.
So it's six weeks shaved off.
I mean, six weeks is six weeks, guys.
Listen, I couldn't do six days in jail.
So six weeks is a big deal.
I couldn't do it with six hours.
Okay.
There you go.
No.
Are people, do people feel any strong way about this?
Like, are people angry or happy?
I saw, I saw some chatter being like, keep them in there, this and this, this and that.
But I'm like, it's six weeks to me is like, it doesn't make too much of a different.
Well, either you have a problem with the overall sentencing, which I'm guessing a lot of people do.
Yes.
Or not.
But like, is this, is the six weeks the-
I'm sure, look, if you are a victim of any sort of abuse, sexual abuse, things like that,
and you constantly see individuals not being charged,
not being investigated.
We're living in this Epstein whirlwind right now,
and it's disgusting.
You're seeing all this.
So anytime you see a headline where an abuser is now getting time off,
you're not happy.
Right.
So I guess even if it's six weeks.
Right.
Because people are out here seeking justice so much
and it's so hard on people.
Right.
That, yeah, I mean, I'm sure there's people who are upset.
Did you guys see that corrupt is out of the hospital?
I didn't know corrupt.
It was in.
the hospital. Yeah. Yeah, I saw both.
Super sick. His wife posted a photo of him saying he's
finally home. But they're saying
it was very scary for a moment.
Wow. Do we know what's going on?
No, I was like, I just, I kept seeing
serious health issues, so I don't know exactly
what it was. Well, get well, corrupt. Yeah, I saw that,
I saw that, too. I don't know exactly what it was either, man,
but corrupt is
he's an all-time great, bro.
That guy, I want that guy to continue to get his flowers,
continue to make music. Yeah, man, you know,
I don't think, you know, look, a lot of people
Well, obviously, it was a trip just yesterday.
I was listening to the J-Co album.
The falloff.
The falloff.
Yeah, to you.
And I was playing it for Issa, actually, because she was like, I like songs on it.
And I was like, have you heard this song?
And I played her, what's it called?
Like, I love her again.
And I was like, do you know what this is from?
So then I played a common.
I used to love her.
And showed her how, and she was mind-blown.
Like, she was like, dad, I love hip-hop.
Jay Cole's my favorite artist.
Amazing.
Common should have been her favorite artist coming out of this, but I get the idea.
But my point is, I'm saying all this to say when I got home, I played Com and I used to
love her for jazz.
And I was like, you know the song?
She was like, yeah, I know it.
I was like, no, but do you know it?
Do you know what's happening here?
And then played her the J. Cole record.
And she was like, more people need to be talking about this.
This is incredible.
Yeah, it's pretty cool.
I say that because thinking about corrupts greatness, I think people know his name, but I don't
think people understand his MC greatness.
like how great he was as a rapper.
Yeah, I guess there's some people
they just know the name corrupt.
They know Dad's In Corrupt or the Dog Pounder.
Maybe they don't.
Maybe they know all the...
Things get jumbled up over time.
I see what you're saying.
And especially right now, I feel like the youth doesn't really know.
But corrupt's from Philly.
Just so people know.
Corrupt is not from L.A.
Corrupt is from Philly.
That's why...
Well, he does.
No, no, he's West.
But just so people know why he has that DNA.
What are you trying to say West Coast, MC?
I'm not saying that.
You're a little funny, right?
Philly MCN.
No, not, not.
Philly MC's is different.
Philly MC's is a thing.
So he has both.
Like he does have the West DNA.
But like even DAZ,
like DAZ is different than corrupt.
That's one of the things that made them ying and yang so well.
Yeah.
But corrupt as a writer,
as a rapper,
he's just,
I mean,
he's one of those guys.
Like corrupt is one of those guys with any moment.
Yo,
by way,
shout to Raskass cast who has an album out,
by the way.
Oh, listen,
I was going to tell you about Rass.
No,
I was on.
So, yo,
we got a Patreon dropping today.
And that was actually on my list because every week I come in here with songs because
I heard a good one from the Raskass album that's not a dope.
No, there's definitely dope records.
But the other part of the Ratssons were on Raskat.
Okay.
Shout to Raskass cast wherever you are, sir.
You know Rask has twin sons.
No.
Yeah, yeah.
They're in a group.
They're in the group.
They're in Coast Contra.
Right, because I know about Coast Contra from Raskas posting it.
You know, and so, and I didn't even tell Jazz Casas, she's a huge Tidra Moses fan.
Okay.
If you know Tidre Moses, if your R&B head out there,
Rastcas's twin sons are with Tidra Moses.
Oh, no way.
And she's a songwriter, so their rapping ability is incredible.
No, they're dope.
Coast conscious is dope.
Coast conscious is incredible.
So, yeah, I was thinking about that recently, too, about, like,
should we do a little bit more in this space with this?
Like, with the Raskasses, with the corrupts?
Yes.
Like, why not?
You know, like.
Of course.
You know?
But also even the, like, on the J. Cole and the falloff.
and I know people that
I never saw the narrative
I keep hearing you bringing up Rosenberg
I haven't seen the narrative
hating on the J-Co album
I've seen the narrative of people saying
yo he stepped out of the battle
and whatever but that's not about the album itself
well I just know because we put out a video
of me saying how great a double album it was
so as a result I got incoming
straights but you're also putting you
by doing that you're going to get strays
because now you're putting it in the same conversation
with Notorious B.I.G. Life after that
That's going to catch straights.
But as an album, double album or not, are there skips?
Yes.
But is there amazing stuff on this Jaycoe album?
For sure.
I found myself, and maybe I was emotional because I'm playing hip hop for my 11-year-old
and she's all the way in on common and how it ties into Jay Cole's record.
Right.
And then she picked up on him talking in the third verse about how he doesn't have time for hip-hop anymore.
And she's like, because he has kids.
Before he even gets to explain it.
because he has kids.
Like, she was all the way in it.
Oh, that's dope.
So I was emotional.
But that's also a part of it, too, where I'm like,
I don't think people are appreciating how much great hip hop there is out there.
And it's not like it's on the radio.
And we can't play it on YouTube.
Like, it's hard to come to one place right now and just get great hip hop.
Unless you tune in to me at 3 o'clock on Apple Music every day.
Because then you can play whatever you want.
Yesterday you were there with TI.
Yo, I play all this stuff every day.
Coast Contra, Cole, IDK.
I'm getting it. And then I, and then I'll mix it with classics, 90s records, all that stuff.
Do you just play whatever you want every day?
Pretty much, yeah.
I try to play hits, though. Like, I'm playing the Keem a lot, baby Keem.
Hits in our sense of-
In the streaming space.
Right, right, right.
You know what?
Do you play bullish?
Like what?
You know, that bullish.
Like what?
I don't know, something huge that would not be your cup of tea when you go home and drive around.
But other people like it?
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't know.
I mean, if it's something I like it.
I play it.
Okay.
Yeah, if I don't like it, I'm not playing it.
Okay.
But like, I guess anything, the closest thing to like a crossover mainstream, I guess, quote-unquote,
Bull-I Shrek would be the new, the baby record, where it's, you know, it's like pop that thing
or whatever it's called.
But it's uptemple, but it's fire, though.
I like it.
Have you hit any of that?
I heard there's a new Larry June joint.
Of course.
Larry June currency alchemist.
Fire.
And then have you hit it.
And then there's the Larry June Foggy.
Raw.
That's Larry Jr.
Foggy Raw again?
But that's on Foggy Raw's album,
which he's from, you know he's from PG County.
You told me that.
I didn't know that.
I didn't know about this Foggy Raw.
You got to get into it.
And have you peeped the Rome Streets,
Boldie James at all?
I have not peeped that.
So that dropped too.
I've been off because I haven't had a show.
So the last six weeks hip-hop didn't exist.
There's so much great stuff, though.
Back to the rundown.
Laura Staviswold.
So you were locked in with the show Supercell.
Yes.
I remember you were really into it,
but this is, ooh.
So,
actor gets.
Yeah, and he's an emcee too.
Dope MC out there in the UK.
A girl named Justin Clark Samuel.
He's been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Damn, bro.
For a hit and run.
Man, this happened in England.
Oh, my God.
Yo, they're saying that he consumed alcohol
before getting behind the wheel one of these stories.
And he, on October 8th of last year,
he hit a 20-year-old student going like 60 miles per hour
in a residential road.
Damn, man.
I hate these stories.
Now, Gets play.
guilty.
And so maybe there might be
some leniency in the future. But it's
a sad story. Gets is a good dude. I don't know
his whole history. Obviously, you hear
hit and run, you hear drinking, driving behind
the wheel, you angered by people who have
lost loved ones to that. And all that.
And it's sad all the way around.
But, you know, man,
hold your head, Gets, and to the family
affected by that, you know, sending you love and life.
That's terrible, man. All right, well, let's
get low. Let's get low.
Oh, we're getting low.
I wonder where we're going today.
I mean, listen, it's petty.
It's messy.
People like it.
All right.
So, y'all know that Cardi B does not play.
Remember when she went ahead and took that blogger, Tasha K.
Oh, sure.
They go to court and won.
That's right.
Right?
And she's always like, her and her legal team do not play.
But it's been a minute since, you know, there's a lot of back and forth.
Tasha K continues to say, ah, whatever.
I'll pay her when I want to.
Well, now.
Cardi B has submitted a request for Tasha K to show up in court for a deep dive into her finances.
She wants to see everything.
She's asking the tax return.
She's not letting it go because that means Tasha can't pay it fast enough.
Yes, hard documents detailing like what Tasha is making from YouTube, what she's making from
social media.
She wants to see everything.
Your, Cardi is sitting there with a birdman hand rub like, I am not letting this go.
So, you know, she previously won $3.9 million.
dollars that's how much she owes her
yo and Cardi's not stopping
and we don't know and obviously we don't know how much
Tasha Kay's pay no I mean listen
Tasha Kay keeps saying that she makes a lot of money
and that she's good there's rumors
that she's stashing money god knows where
yo but Cardi is not letting this go
guy I thought you were going to go somewhere else with Cardi today
I thought you were going to go to Cardi on stage
talking ish about Stefan Diggs
I didn't see that I was out there too
Did you send it? Nope why you didn't send it
Because I didn't realize that's what it was at first
Is it direct though is it like? No it's about
You ain't never...
She says it ain't direct.
It's not...
It's not.
She says not about him?
She says not about him.
So she's just talking generically about you never had an itch like me before in your life.
You never had any like this in your life.
You never had...
Okay.
I mean, she could still be talking to offset.
She could be.
Now, what was the picture I saw of Cardi getting flowers from somebody else?
Do you all see that?
Is that fake?
There's a lot of Cardi stories.
I know.
Because I saw her getting flowers, but like in a room with like...
No, I saw her getting...
Congratulations type thing.
I saw her getting flowers from a man outside of a private plane.
Oh.
But listen, you can't tell what's going on.
No boo alert.
How do you know it's from a man?
He's a man holding him on his knees.
I don't know.
You saw it.
Yes.
Is this AI?
It's not AI.
Calm down.
We need to do a segment on the show called What the F is on my timeline.
Yes, I have some is too that I keep seeing.
Are you guys seeing the AI?
Caribbean elders
talking about health
I saw you sent one
I saw the one you sent one you sent
You guys aren't seeing that
No
Yo I am seeing it nonstop
Because you're engaging with it
No I've never engaged with it
Did you watch the whole thing?
Yes I watched the whole thing
That level of it
And you sent it
And I sent it
Okay so yeah
So I'm getting it
There's black women
Black men with dreads
Gray hair doctors
They got all the health
Information
But it's all natural
It's all natural
And it's great information, by the way.
I'm sure it's legit.
No, it's not legit.
The only thing is not legit is the person and the accent and the whole not.
And the whole thing is computer generated.
So nobody else is seeing this?
No, only because you saw it.
I get the AI fruits like cut me and store me this way.
Oh, I get those too.
Yeah, I get those too.
What is it?
What is it?
What will it say?
Clean me with vinegar so I don't rot.
Like, you don't see those?
No.
You don't get those either.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Well, it's like the cartoon character fruit talking to me.
Yeah, yeah.
But they're really interesting to be like, oh, that's how I store you.
Okay.
No, that's useful.
This is a better way to store me.
This is a better way to serve me.
Yes.
And I get those and also the health benefits of the vegetables and fruit talking to me about
juicing and blending them together for what it's going to do for my knees.
Yeah, no, no, that's – I've seen that.
But I don't know what's up with why they're leaning in on the fake Caribbean men.
Because maybe they feel like this getting engagement.
I mean, it has to be it's just getting engagement.
Well – somebody started it.
It got a lot of engagement.
And now they're just popping up.
with gray dreadlocks sitting on a beach
in a hunt on a beach cutting fruit.
Yo, and they go as far to be like,
this is my daughter right here.
Like, no, it goes far.
Like, how far are we going to go?
And I'll be like, wait, this is your, wait, what?
This is AI?
And who's the daughter?
It's AI, Rosenberg.
No, but like who, but is it like, does she look?
Is she beautiful or something?
Is there a purpose?
Well, yeah, it'll be like, and I helped her lose weight.
No, it'll be like, and she's,
and I helped her lose weight.
So eat this jackfruit.
But it's AI.
Yo, do you have the video I say,
Rassant, you don't have it in there?
No, AI is out of control.
I got to send it out of control.
No, it's not good, guys.
We're not in a good situation.
I mean, it's good information.
I ain't going to hold you.
And don't worry.
If the powers that be get what they want,
they'll make sure that we can't control these AI.
So now that same fake Jamaican man on the beach,
we'll be able to kill people,
and no one will have autonomy over it except him.
Well, yeah, there'll be no human oversight.
No, just the AI person.
Just a fake person.
It's not even a person.
No, I know.
I'm being silly now, but yes, the idea that's just whatever.
No, it's all a mess.
Look, I had a whole list of things I was going to run down with y'all today,
and then I got here and we was talking to Trick Williams.
Now I'm not even in a move because I'm in a good move.
You're upbeat now.
I'm upbeat now, but when I got here today, I was in a bad space.
About?
Well, one, about the elevator keys coming up here.
Why do we end up elevating?
That's not as interesting a topic.
The elevator ain't turned on.
I'm upset about that.
Sure.
But then the second thing was, you know, Trump is out here talking about
Iran is deranged and the leadership of Iran is deranged.
It's the definition of take one to no one.
I know. I know.
It's not that any of us are saying Iran's not deranged.
We're just saying, sir?
Y'all don't have a plan.
There's not a time in history in the last hundred years
where what we're doing with Iran has been successful.
Never works.
It never works.
Never.
And Israel is just out here like, they don't care.
They're not here for that part.
They're just here for their part.
whatever they want to do.
Well, and it's tough to say they, because I think it's just Netanyahu.
Yeah, yeah, whatever.
Inside Israel, they're not happy either.
Well, how could you be?
They're now firing.
Now the missiles are only going to ramp up.
This is going to be a more severe attack on Israel than before.
So wait, so right now we have, we're going to have soldiers in Iran.
Yes.
We're going to have soldiers in Venezuela.
They didn't say feet on the ground yet, right?
They've been saying that that's, they're considering it.
They didn't say no.
But by the way, even if they did say no, Laura, they're always lying.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
There's never a time.
So what are we talking?
Yeah, why does it matter what this?
So Iran, Venezuela, right?
Yeah.
Now they just announced some attacks on Ecuador or something's happening in Ecuador.
Wow.
And then everyone's pointing fingers at Cuba.
My hope they think, so we're just going to be spread all over.
Wasn't there an African nation?
They were interested in.
Yes.
Weren't they in Nigeria?
Nigeria.
Nigeria.
Yeah, Nigeria.
Remember, they bombed Nigeria.
Yes.
A northern part of Nigeria.
because of Islamic extremists and then they allegedly put boots on the ground in.
And you realize that like, you know, Trump has set up the lie for so long of the peacetime president,
stopped all these wars, the made up wars that he says he's ended.
It's all just, in my opinion, so you can now do this and he's pretended he's created enough of a fake image for himself that he thinks he can trick people.
Now, I don't think it's going to work in this case.
I think people are upset about this.
I don't think this is being received well at all.
My algorithm is showing me nothing but right-wing people who are mad about this war
Well, we got this from Ari Melburgh's show.
You have that clip from Ari Melbaugh's show last night, Rassant.
Yeah, it's here on the sheet.
Let's not do this.
It's right here.
Yeah, you sure you don't?
It's on the sheet.
It says Trump after promising to stop wars.
Yeah, Rosenberg, like every time I see on my timeline, Marjorie Taylor Green pop up,
say, oh my God, it's this war, I'm just like, I can't believe it.
No, it's everywhere.
It's Kevin.
It's Candice Owens is Varsieller Green.
It's Megan Kelly.
It's every right winger.
All right.
All right.
I will tell you, you're not going to have a war with me,
and you're not going to have a third world war with me.
I will also restore peace through strength,
and I will prevent World War III from happening.
These globalists want to squander all of America's strength,
blood, and treasure.
Chasing monsters and phantoms overseas,
our current strategy of nation building
and regime change is a prehist.
proven absolute failure.
I'm not going to start a war.
I'm going to stop wars.
Bro.
Congratulations.
And you saw them get asked yesterday.
Was yesterday?
What's home girl's name?
What's that reporter who Trump went after?
So it was nasty and attacked her a couple of weeks ago.
What woman?
It's been multiple times.
Yeah, yeah.
This was a couple of weeks ago.
You never smile that one.
Yes, I know who.
I don't have her name.
Oh, Caitlin.
From CNN.
CNN. Is it Caitlin?
Yeah, I believe her name.
No, Caitlin Collins, I think her name.
Yeah, yeah. She, I think it was her yesterday or the day before through it, like, basically.
Why are we back at war if the last attack was completely successful in taking out all of their nuclear capabilities?
She threw that at JD Vance.
And J.D. Vance, of course, you know.
Dignored it and dodged it.
But, like, you guys already said it was completely successful.
You said it was the greatest attack in history.
Some of this is exhausting on the level of how do people gather.
around and ask these serious questions.
It's very unsurious.
Like how are we...
I saw Ari Merleboro and shout to Ari Post that clip yesterday.
I was like, you wasted your producer's time.
Editing this together.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
They just change the story.
They lie.
Completely lie.
They're not even...
They're not even trying.
Matter of fact, if you go back to like 9-11, right, when, you know, we were in Afghanistan
and then all of a sudden we went weapons of mass destruction to Iraq,
at least they tried to have some sort of story aligned.
No, here they wouldn't even bother anymore.
There's not even an aligned story.
That's a great point.
The lying about weapons of mass destruction was like one of the biggest controversies
in politics of the last like 50 years.
Huge deal.
Now they wouldn't even bother along.
They don't even bother.
They don't even have a story to stick to.
Because once again in American history, no one was held accountable for lying.
Nope. So why not keep going?
Why? Let's run the play again. We all got paid. How many people, how many companies got paid off 9-11? How many people got paid off 9-11? Individuals.
Even because of the money that was then spent? Because of what was the guy Silverstein that had the insurance on the building down in there.
Lutnik who didn't show up to work that day, who got an insurance payout because of all, because of what happened to his employees and his business down there.
He's a matter of fact, Lutnik is the next door, was the next door neighbor of Epstein,
has volunteered to go testify now at the same place that Hillary and Bill went today.
You guys, it is a level of corruption and chaos.
It's historic.
I don't even think this could be.
No one would even script this in movies.
Like, even the cats, that far gone.
Even the people who you knew growing up were sitting outside with their tinfoil hats on,
so to speak, they didn't know it was this level.
I don't think they could have imagined it was this bad.
realize that they're getting complaints from people in the military right now, Laura.
Soldiers are complaining that their commanders showed up and told them to stay focused and
stay on task their warriors in the fight for Jesus.
Yeah, I read that.
And that this is a holy war.
Have you, have you?
I did.
And it's like it's been said everywhere.
This isn't being said in one place.
No.
There's multiple commanders in our U.S. military telling their teams that this, what's going on in Iran and what's going on with Israel is about God.
And now soldiers are complaining about it.
And who are they going to complain too?
It's not like anybody's going to listen to or care.
Doesn't this work against the whole concept, though?
Because the way that people villainize the entire Muslim world is by saying that everything they do is because of it's religious extremism.
Right.
And what are we doing?
The craziest part is that it's all being done under the administration of someone who is completely godless.
Yes.
Like Trump has zero religion.
Well, and this is the other part that I don't think is being covered enough.
While all of this noise between Iran firing missiles at Israel and Iran's firing missiles all across the Middle East, to anybody supporting Israel, I think Saudi Arabia has been hit and Bahrain's been hit in Qatar and there's planes falling out to sky.
Did you got to see the video of the pilot who, who's, who's, you know, who's, you know, who's, you.
who had to ejected. Yeah, who had to eject. And then he landed in a country and was like Dolo and people was running down on him. And he's like, yo, like hands up type energy. So first I want to shout to all of the service people out here who are being put in harm's way without a solid plan. Because that's the other thing that people are really upset about. They don't have a plan. Trump yesterday talking to the press was talking about how they've gotten rid of the leaders of Iran.
and maybe the second line of leaders from Iran
and they might be teeing up the third line of leaders for Iran
and he's like we don't even know who those people are at a certain point
we're not even going to know who these people are I also saw that they're ramping up
just trying to get people to join the army so you know they're going to like
congratulations school they're trying everything they're trying to get people to join
hegg Seth says there will be no let up and attacks on Iran
Turkey says NATO shot down Iranian missile heading towards Turkish airspace
No, Iran is like we're letting everybody have it.
No, they've said it openly.
Everybody can get it.
And that's the plan.
From what I read yesterday, the plan for Iran is not to win the war because they don't think that's possible, but it's to stretch out the war, making it basically as annoying as humanly possible to everyone in the region, forcing the U.S. to spend money, forcing Trump to lose elections, they just want to make it a nightmare for that.
That's all they got.
Because they can't really win, right?
But this is also, you know, the U.S. and anybody supporting Trump on this, you have fallen for the trap.
This is why Obama and the other folks that have had to deal with the Islam relationship has been handling it delicately, right?
A, not allowing Netanyahu and Israel to get you caught up in their craziness to go after Iran.
That's been the thing for decades.
Headline, by the way, Trump tries to quiet claims among supporters that Israel drafts.
him into war.
Congratulations.
You plagued yourself.
Anyway, have you guys, I don't know if you guys saw the videos of people in Texas,
basically saying, hey, I'm not being allowed to vote.
Yes, I've seen that.
Voter suppression is, the volume is turned up.
It is happening in our faces.
But this is the state, Laura, where they, we knew this was going to happen.
No, but it's still important to talk about it because some people really feel like there
are still some people who don't believe that voter suppression is a thing, or they don't
understand. I saw multiple videos yesterday of people saying, hey, this is the place where I've been
going to for the past 10 years to go vote. And now they're telling me, this is not your location.
We don't know where your location is. Figure it out. And he's like, where am I supposed to go?
You're supposed to go online. Matter of fact, in anybody out there voting, they also have some
gerrymandering and some political situations here in the New York tri-state area in Staten Island,
where the Supreme Court is basically opposite.
of Texas not allowed them to change
voting lines.
And I think it affects parts of South Brooklyn.
South Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Yeah.
To help the Republicans in Staten Island.
Now, it's not going to be as big a deal
this time around because yesterday was a primary.
So people aren't going to freak out about it in the same way.
Or we're not going to freak out about it in the same way, right?
But what about when we get to the general?
Hello.
And Democrats can't vote.
So, I mean, I know...
Listen, they're not...
This is something, y'all, all you non-voters,
you try to act like voting is not important,
they wouldn't be working this hard if it wasn't that important.
James Tolariko beat Jasmine Crockett primary yesterday.
So, yeah, I was going to ask you about that.
Is that surprising?
I didn't know what to expect.
He's definitely...
He's 36 years old, and they said virtually unknown months ago.
Nah, I've been seeing him on Instagram for over a year.
Really?
I've been talking about it for...
I was sharing this stuff.
because he's a religious guy who's very, very, you know, progress.
Not very, very progressive, but very, but progressive.
And definitely not like Jasmine Crockett in the sense of like her alignment with Israel and what's going on overseas.
But I don't think he's really been pressed like she has.
He hasn't been on the job like that.
Jasmine Crockett was really still sticking with Israel at this point?
She absolutely was very, very much like we're going to voting on behalf of still continuing to fund Israel.
She was not backing off any of the funding.
No, she was not.
She was not.
And people kept telling it's going to hurt you.
It's going to hurt you.
And James Salarico is a, he's like a quotes from the Bible.
He's a Bible quoter.
So, yeah, yeah.
Every interview.
He's white.
He's religious.
He's, you know, definitely left-leaning.
I don't know how progressive he is.
He's very, like, tempered and calm and together.
And, you know, he doesn't have all of the, we talked about it on this show.
America has disdain.
outspoken black women and outspoken black people in general.
Let me tell you something about Jasmine Crockett.
It's unfortunate about her political career.
I'm not worried about her professionally, though.
No.
Jasmine Crockett is going to find.
She's going to find a lot of ways to use her voice.
Yeah, for sure.
In ways that may be affected.
Remember, they were running for a Senate.
This is a Senate primary.
They're both representatives already.
Oh, this was for the Senate seat.
They were trying to switch to the Senate seat.
Got it.
So I think they're both technically still on that job.
Yeah, she's still at that job.
So she's there for another year.
So 2027?
Yeah, and then she'll probably win that one again.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So this was trying to get the Senate seat.
Apollos.
What's the, now, so your dad, Rosenberg, has been out on APEC for how long?
I don't know.
As far as you can remember.
Yeah, 40 years.
I don't know.
What is the sentiment among, you know, because everyone tries to act like Jewish people are all aligned on Israel.
And it's, you guys, you know, Jews are a monolith.
Everybody's the same politically.
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Your dad has been out on A-PAC and this whole thing for a while.
What is the sentiment that you see on A-PAC?
Because definitely on my algorithm, everyone's out on A-PAC.
And if you're a politician that's taking A-PAC money.
Yeah, that's all I see, too.
But that's what I'm getting fed to.
I mean, I don't know across the board how big that is, but it's definitely
seems it's all I see.
Because they are coming for Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Scho.
And that machine.
And Buker, too.
And Cory Bucer's.
Hey y'all, they coming for y'all, bro.
How much money is worth it?
Y'all, you guys are not able to give it up?
Chuck Schumer's too far gone.
And he's old, and it's just time to go.
Although, you know, I will, I'm not a, I don't think any of us are like paint by numbers, guys.
Chuck has been, Chuck Schumer's been bad and it's bad with the APEC stuff.
He has had moments over the last year and a half where I think he said important stuff.
Yeah.
About, like, this needs to stop and fully against.
So, like, he has had moments where I think he's slightly braver than he gets credit for.
Unlike Cory Booker, for example, who has not nothing.
Nothing.
He's not willing to push back.
Hakeem too.
Hakeem, too.
Not willing to push back at all.
Now, that's in a different situation.
He's Jewish.
Maybe he feels a little bit more comfortable pushing back.
I don't know.
I saw a video of Hakeem Jeffries with a yama going.
Standing next to Mike Johnson, would a yama going.
But neither of them are Jewish.
With a rabbi talking to them about how great a friends they are of Israel.
I can't, guys.
I really I'm I'm I'm this is all very stressful to me that I got what you
think I got the video fed the other day to me and I don't even this is so bad guys I
don't even want to say out loud really I'm not I don't like even saying this in the
universe because when I saw it I was like oh god Rosenberg yo when you really look into
it 1 877 cars for kids yes it's like a Zionist propaganda machine yes and they've
made hundreds of millions of dollars and it all go straight to Israel when you hear
1877 cars for kids
If you go to the website
But when you go to the website
I will say this I did it yesterday
I went down the whole path
You can't find that it's like
It goes straight to Israel
You can't find that I was looking
At least I couldn't find it okay
I saw the video that says they do
But it does make
Clear that it's like
For like a vague Jewish
charity that I can't understand
You know what I'm saying?
Did you look up the vague Jewish charity
So then I looked up the other charity too
and that doesn't outright say it's about Israel either.
Okay.
But I don't understand what it's for.
Because like, not to say there are no Jewish people in need, because there are.
Right, right, right.
But it doesn't quite add up to me when I'm looking at it.
I'm like, I don't understand where all this is going.
And as a Jewish person, it freaks me out because everybody knows and is either likes or is
annoyed by 1877 cars for kids.
Yeah.
I like the song.
I've never had a problem with it.
And I was like, I want cars for kids.
Kids can't drive.
So who are the cars for?
Oh, well, maybe families, parents, foster kids.
That's what this is, I've been thinking.
I think of it.
I think the cars are to sell, though.
Yeah, you just, like, get rid of your old car.
You get rid of it because you don't feel like dealing with it.
You're donating it to charity.
You get the right off because it's a charity.
They'll sell the car.
They don't give the car to people.
They're selling the car.
They're making the money.
I never even thought that far.
I was just kind of like, oh, they're just giving it to families who need to transport their kids.
I don't think that's what are.
I don't think that's what are.
I don't think they actually give anyone cars.
Except boats and real estate.
Oh, yeah, at the end of the commercial the other day, I did hear that.
It was like, and we take boats and real estate.
Okay.
We just take, you want to give us your stuff?
Yo, I just like...
It's for the children.
Sometimes, man, I'm just like, uh, what's going on, bro?
How many different bad things are there, like, related to that?
And listen, maybe it's not Israel.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe 1-877 cars for kids will call up and explain how this, no, this really just goes to
people who are in need.
Well, so I don't fully understand it.
But the problem, what you're feeling is this.
You're feeling, and it's hard,
where a narrative has been created that a group you're a part of is infallible
because there's a history tied to people critiquing this group based on them being
a part of an ethnic religious group.
Correct.
And any critique of that group was always like, hey, hey, hey, watch it, watch it, watch it.
So now that things are being uncovered that need to be critiqued and are bad, you're like,
wait a minute.
But also, the things that are being, that are bad are mostly relating to something that doesn't
have anything to do with most people in the group.
Right.
The average person's relationship, average Jewish person's relationship with Israel, average
is you heard about it in synagogue and at Hebrew school and you have,
Maybe you have positive, maybe you had positive feelings.
Maybe a small percentage took a trip at some point, enjoyed their time, whatever.
But like that's it.
It's not like this most people, most average Jewish Americans, their life does not revolve around Israel.
It has very little to do with it.
But that's the part that's confusing.
But a narrative was created, though, that affects you, is my point.
Very much so.
Right.
And so that, but so now that's what you're feeling.
You're like, it's exhausting.
because now work has to be done to decouple that narrative to like unplug this idea.
But then there's this other thing that's happening simultaneously of like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens
and the others like her who are the most outspoken about Israel.
And on that side, the right wing people, Marjorie Taylor Green, the right wing people, hear me
closely, who are the most outspoken about Israel, also hate Jews. They may cover it up. They may try to
be cute about it, but at one time, Candice, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green, have all espoused.
Classic, the Jews are coming to get you anti-Semitic tropes. And they're the loudest voices
being reposted about their smart positions on Israel. When there are tons,
of non-Jew-hating progressives,
Zoran, Mom, Doni, and many, many more,
us, a million people who are also against what Israel's doing
and do not remotely have negative feelings
towards Jewish people.
I know.
The hard part is, though, I'm seeing everybody fall
for the banana and the tailpipe with Tucker Carlson,
who they will want to run for president
of the United States of America,
and the guy has been a Jew hater for years.
That's why it's not just that there is.
against Israel.
Israel's pulling the strings
of the United States
because the Jews pull the strings.
That's what they're doing.
Because it's not Israel's pulling all the
strings. It's that the U.S. and Israel are
together. Stop acting like the
U.S. is dumb and Israel's just like
we got the...
We've been doing this. They've all been
doing this. We give them the weapons.
It's not that Netanyahu is so smart
and Trump's so dumb.
They're all dumb and they're all bad.
They're all doing the same thing, but there's a narrative that feeds back into the Jews are pulling the strength.
And that's what scares me the most.
Just like when I saw people sharing that clip of Nick Fuentes.
You know what I mean?
He's another one they post.
I never thought I'd be sharing Nick Fuentes, but here I am.
How about don't?
I'm like, he is a white supremacist.
He hates Jews.
He hates everyone.
And also, y'all got to remember, they don't like black people either.
Yeah.
Nazis don't like black people either.
Yep.
I didn't know that.
Because Kanye, because, well,
Because the Yeh thing was so confusing.
Because Nick Fonte's, don't forget, he's the one who's shop with gay.
You know, listen, people, I got news.
If, if you believe that there's people who just don't like Jews because of their faith.
But they're great with black people.
But they're white and they just don't like them because of their faith.
I got news for you.
They don't like black people.
And they don't.
Or Latinos.
Well, they might like the white ones that speak Spanish.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Just don't speak Spanish.
Yeah, they don't want to know Spanish, though.
Remember, don't say gay.
Remember don't say gay.
Don't speak Spanish.
You know what I'm saying?
Yo, y'all won't get to the guru?
We should.
We should.
Where's my guru intro?
Give me a lot.
You know, it's the gurus.
Rosenberg.
It's all right.
You know you are a beautiful queen.
Ebro.
Don't ever play yourself.
You're not a guru.
Ah, the original gurus at gmail.com.
The original gurus at gmail.com.
Where the gurus unite to fight for what's right.
Burn the sage, you bro.
Hi, Rosenberg.
Who's writing to us?
Zen, Zen.
Who needs us?
So many are in need and they send their emails to the original gurus at gmail.com.
The original gurus at gmail.com.
Send your email today.
Good morning to the OGs and the whole crew.
Been a fought for 10 plus years and I'm writing in for your expert advice.
Oh.
Around Christmas 24, I got into a relationship on my best friend of 20 plus years, started acting funny.
attitude shifted, invites became less and less,
trying to hang feels like scheduled in a meeting with Obama.
Oh, God.
When at one point, we were on the phone 24-7 and literally inseparable.
A few months into my new relationship,
I addressed the issue of me going out every weekend
as my new partner expressed that he was uncomfortable
as my best friend and I hang out with more guys than women
and we wouldn't make it home until very late when we did go out.
I expressed his POV and told her I had to take a step back,
a bit to invest in my relationship and respect him as well.
That's when everything shifted.
And it became him being blamed for any disagreement or occasion that I would decline.
Whether he and I had plans or I was handling something with my family.
Fast forward to September 25, I almost lost my life in a crazy accident that truly mess me up mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I reached out to her the day of while I was still in the hospital because she's my best friend and one of the most important people in my life.
but I didn't hear back from her until almost a week later.
Oh my God.
I was extremely hurt.
I voiced it to her.
Let her know when she needs me.
I run for her, but this time around, in my time in need, I felt abandoned.
She blew it off like I was exaggerating because I only called her once.
That was the ultimate slap in the face because I would never do that to her.
Now, here we are several months later, and it's to the point where I'm seeing things on IG that I've been purposely, that I have been purposely left out of.
Calls and text go unanswered for several days, sometimes more than a week.
And notice the other day that I'm now blocked from viewing her stories.
Is this something I should try to have a final convo and walk away from?
Or should I just burn it all down and let it be what it is at the moment?
I thank you for your advice and wisdom to guide me through whatever my new reality seems to be.
Love always fought for life.
I'm sorry, that doesn't sound easy.
No, not at all.
That sucks.
Because, like, it does feel kind of just like burn it down and move on because why bother when someone's doing this?
But at the same time, it's hard.
you put a lot of time in years and love into the relationship.
But you also, go ahead.
Sorry, I just can't, bro.
She had a horrible accident.
Was in the hospital.
And you call her a week later?
That's crazy.
Like, you would think that the one time everyone's going to show up where you'd be like,
we're going to put things aside.
You're in the hospital.
You had a horrible accident.
I will be there.
I think that says a lot.
It's, um, this one hits home for me in that specific spot, though it's different.
There's a friendship, uh,
Natalie's life that had been
having back and forth and dwindling
for a variety of reasons and I think
feelings on both side of like, why are you not
and why are you not? And then a little bit
of that. But then
when Rocky passed, Natalie sent a picture
of this person with Rocky and is like
I lost Rocky today. Something like that.
She never wrote back. To me
there are like these line in the sand moments
where when you can't across
like death or trauma or accident,
put aside whatever you're doing to say, hey, we need to, I'm here.
To me, that is sort of the death of the friendship.
Me too.
Like, because what is the point?
Because, like, I could, there could be someone I don't stay.
I can't stand in my life.
Bro, there are people I literally don't like.
You could be someone I literally have a bad relationship with.
I've seen you do it.
And if they reach out and, like, I had blah, blah, blah,
happen, I'd be like, yo, you want to talk?
Yeah.
Because it's life.
Right.
But you guys are.
So burn it down is what I'm saying, I guess.
There's two things here.
There's A, you can't expect everybody to deal with things the way you would deal with.
Fair?
That's just full stop.
But the other piece of that is if you consider someone a friend and you guys, you know,
friendship is a relationship to some degree, different type than a regular relationship,
but it's still a relationship.
Very much so.
Just like in a relationship, if you two deal with things in different ways, that is the deal breaker.
You know what I mean?
Like, especially if the way that person deals with...
Talk about important things.
Right.
If that person deals with something and they're like, I don't deal with things like that.
This is not going to work for me.
Right.
And that is the, like you said, the death of the friendship.
Yeah.
You know, it's over.
And I think you have to, based on the email, this person's been trying.
That's the other part.
Yeah.
Like you were like, you've been trying.
You've been trying.
She's leaving you out of stuff.
She's blocking you on.
Bro.
This person's not your friend.
They don't want to be your friend.
For whatever reason.
And by the way, to me, I can speak to this.
I think maybe the most.
I think I'm a little more emo about this than either of these two.
That hurts. That sucks.
That, like, you had a real friendship and she's saying, I don't want.
Burning that down is not easy.
You have the right to mourn that.
Like, that's sad.
But to there, to Ebro and Laura's part, what are you going to do?
Beg her, y'all are adults.
And you're going to keep hurting yourself if you keep trying and you keep getting the same response.
Well, and ultimately, it comes down to care, man.
This person doesn't care about you like that.
No.
That's what they're showing.
That's it.
I was going to say, too, depending on where this email went.
I did think from the beginning that maybe our fought was like a little annoying.
Like she downplayed it, but the way she handled the new man was kind of annoying.
Like, oh, I don't know if we should go out as much.
And I don't know.
All right.
Nothing that happened there would have been enough for that to be like a, we can't talk.
Like what?
To your point, if death or something tragic can't make you say, wait, are you okay?
You know, like, this sounds scary.
I want to know.
I don't even know this lady.
I want to be like, hey, do you want to talk about your accident?
That sounds really scary, whatever that was.
Also, we're assuming these people are of a, of a, I don't know what, it sounds like we're having
conversations about mid-30-something year old.
We're guessing that, sure.
Yeah, these might be really, this might be really young people who are just handling things bad, too.
It could be.
But regardless, look, because some people is like, oh, you chose your new relationship over me.
She could have been out from them.
Yeah.
And that was enough for that person.
Yeah, I mean, listen, you can try to have one final conversation if you would like.
But I think the friendship is pretty much burnt down by it.
did it a long time ago.
You got to stop working on this.
You got to stop wasting energy on this.
You got to move on and you got to put your energy somewhere else.
But it's going to take some time for you to heal.
It's going to take some time for you to, like, fill that void.
So be patient with you.
Yeah, and it's going to hurt.
But I think you should.
I think we all agree.
You should move on.
So say the gurus.
You know what I mean?
And just send her this.
Bitch!
I mean.
No?
I don't know if it's.
Yeah, absolutely.
Turn it up so you got isolate this and text or this.
Bitch!
Yeah.
Hey, yo, it's time for the...
No.
We don't need the outro.
No.
It's particular with the gurus.
It doesn't work.
We need that outro.
Yes.
Thank you guys.
The original gurus at Gmail.
Oh, oh, Super Chat on the way out.
Let's go.
Can't disrespect our Super Chat.
Shout to the Super Chat.
Remember, so we have a bet going on here at the show.
We started yesterday.
Oh, this would be fun for them to argue about in, like, the Discord.
So, King Lou thinks we'll be at 100,000 subscribers by...
July, what did you say end of June?
Oh, I said July. I said July 1.
Oh, July 1. Okay, end of June, July 1, 100,000 subscribers.
What do you got, Laura Stowe?
I say end of July.
And this is on YouTube.
I'm going to say end of July.
How do people get to a million?
Would we do this for the rest of our lives?
Are you ready to quit already?
No, but damn, because we're doing so well and it's still going to be hard just to get to 100.
I know.
Is that hard?
Six months?
To 100,000?
I think what happened. So every six months you're doing
100,000. Let's just say you keep that momentum.
Yeah, which would be a lot. That's good
momentum. You know what I mean? Like,
that means six years to get to a million?
Yeah. But people have been, there's people who took 10 years.
They've been on YouTube for a long time. Remember, we're late. We ain't been on YouTube.
We don't even know what YouTube is. I still don't even know how to get there.
Moreno the man.
Yes, Moreno.
Can you give Envy the Button for trying to play
you're talking about that's a YouTube?
channel. I don't get it. Can you give
Envy the button? Wait
envy mentioned us? Wait
hold on, hold on, what's going on?
You made my man turn off the music, man.
What happened? What?
Okay, the Breakfast Club mentioned the TI interview.
Nice, thanks for the shout out.
By name? Breakfast Club? Okay.
Was he being, was he doing it
to, oh, to be like a dick to say it's a YouTube
show? No, maybe
not. Here we go. I'll take the market.
friend.
By the way, I'll go with, he was trying to son us to make fun of our YouTube show.
But they were not.
No, but they was just complaining the other day that they're not on YouTube anymore and ain't nobody going to check Netflix.
Right, no, I heard that.
So, you know, it is where it is.
We got a shout out.
Oh, so, man, thanks, Envy, that's my guy.
So Envy, but Envy said he was playing, I guess he's saying he's playing by going,
that's a YouTube channel.
Okay.
So I don't know.
But maybe it wasn't.
Drew, we go back to our outro.
Drew says, whoop that trick, whoop that trick.
Okay.
Thank you, buddy. He was great.
Drew also jumps back in.
Big wrestling fan gave more money to say,
I sense he's going to grab the U.S. title first,
then the big belt.
Beautiful in-ring chemistry with all the stars.
Yeah, shout out to Shirk Williams, man.
Go back and watch it if you missed it.
Yo, Rick says, morning, E Bros.
Shout out the shipping department.
Got my shirt.
Hey.
Gonna rep the EL Army.
Thanks, Laura.
Abla-Lay.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Shouts to Fred.
Tax is finally hit.
So here you guys go.
Great always hit us with the 10th spot.
Thank you.
Glad it came through.
Wait, I'm getting your tax returns already?
Shouts to JW.
I guess he went early.
That's true.
You can get up.
Serene Storm says the breakfast club used info from the T.I.
interview this morning.
And Charla actually made Lauren's site ELR as the source.
Very surprising.
See, but that's my friend, Sharla made.
That's what I'm saying.
That's our guy, man.
What are you talking about?
Grim says, happy hump day.
Just want to say that the outro track speaks to my soul, L.O.
Please drop it on Spotify.
It's a Nicholas Craven record.
I said this.
That's already out.
I'll get you the exact name later this week.
And this record is it.
It's an instrumental.
I don't know.
I don't think so.
I think it's just a song.
But thank you for that.
Shouts to the Super Chat.
It is.
Ebro Laura Rosenberg.
We love y'all.
Featured on the Breakfast Club.
As featured on the Breakfast Club.
That would be hilarious.
Like IG Flyer as featured on the Breakfast Club
would be hilarious.
Nah, do it.
Yeah, so Breakfast Club can now mention us,
but how did he?
I love it.
It's a good time over here.
Oh man, thanks for all to love.
Make sure you subscribe.
Please share.
Get the algorithm popping.
And go check that TI interview if you missed it yesterday.
We appreciate everybody.
See you tomorrow.
