You'll remember this because it was what everyone was talking about was their chemistry and interviews together promoting the movie.

Huge speculation about cheating because they both had partners at the time and just massive rumours about. them getting together on set and all the rest of it. Was it a marketing strategy or was it true love? Well, Glenn Powell's ex, because they broke up after all the rumours came out, her name is Gigi Paris and she has just done this podcast about her stance on everything. She did end up breaking up with him. Harrison, you've made a great point on whether it was true or not.

We'll get to that in a second. But this is why she decided to leave. This is what I have to do for my job. I see. I had two options. I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this?

Or stand up for myself and say, no, I'm actually not okay with this and I'm walking away. So that's what I decided to do. It wasn't a way to monetize the breakup. It wasn't a way to twist the story around. Like, I was shattered. So the fact that Glenn Powell, her then boyfriend, didn't come out to say the rumors aren't true. really, really, really got to her because all she wanted,

as any kind of girlfriend of anybody would want, is to have some respect, and she felt completely disrespected. I just wanted respect, especially if it's going to be public, like, don't make an ass out of me. Like, just don't make a fool out of someone you've been with for over three years

talking about forever with. Right. Just have some decency, you know? And at the end of the day, it was like, well, where it comes first? And if that's the case, I power to you, that's your priority. I got to walk away. And his work is letting everyone believe that he's having an affair.

Just to sell a movie. Crazy a. And then this is the bit of the interview that really shocked me because she actually wanted them to end up together, doesn't it? And I honestly hoped that they'd end up together, except at least it would make it worth it for me, you know? Like, hope they are in love or whatnot. Yeah.

So did you ever get that? clarity of whether or not you were cheated on. I have heard so many different sides of the story. I have no confirmation of what actually happens. Wow, is Glenn Powell in that movie? I've watched it about 10 times. Didn't even realize he was in it. Okay.

Just Sydney's in a swimsuit for like an hour and a half. If you haven't watched it, watch the film. It's a lot of togs, a lot of togs. He's in his togs a lot too. So if you like Glenn Powell, then you'll like it as well. But interesting perspective, she still doesn't know if any shenanigans went on or not. But the fact that she was like, look, let them. If it's true love, then great.

I won't get in the way of it. But they didn't end up together. So it was just to sell a movie. And she just came out as single as well. Yeah. Like a week ago. Sinny Sweeney broke up with her fiance. Yeah.

But I don't know, Gigi, his ex, is saying, I don't want any personal gain from it. And then he's doing a podcast talking about it. Yeah, but she's entitled to, Sean. Yeah, but that's wanting gain from it, isn't it? No, it's not. It's speaking her true. Okay, so the media can talk about you,

but you're not allowed to talk about it yourself. She's entitled to talk about her own story. She's not getting any money from it. She's having a conversation on someone's podcast. Yeah, for the publicity of it. But it's her story, it's her life, and she's just setting the record straight, and it's her point of view. For the publicity of it.

Yeah, but it's like, otherwise it's the whole world talking about something, and you're not going to talk about it. If you want to have a say and something that concerns you, should be able to do it without any kind of criticism. No, I'm just saying. She said, I don't want the publicity, and then has done a podcast to talk about it. Oh, actors, eh? What are we going to do about it?

Yeah, but this is the exact thing that everyone's like, oh, Megan Markle, it's the same thing people'd say about her. She shouldn't be talking about it. It's her story, it's her life, she should talk about it. It doesn't have been out of publicity, because it's all these years later. 23 it happened. She's been 25, maybe. Maybe. She'd have jumped on that horse a long time ago

if it was full of fame, I'd say. Maybe you're right. Maybe you're right. Oh, okay. Harrison's probably right. Yeah, I know. No, maybe you're right, Steph as well. Oh, okay. There's a good conversation to have, isn't it? Oh, my point is there are so many people out there as well going like, oh, I don't want any publicity from but then they're doing a lot to get publicity from the thing they're saying that I want publicity from.

Yeah, and your argument was also to watch the film because Sydney's 20 did a bikini the whole time. That's the takeaway you got from this hot conversation. Amazing movie. Really great movie. Really great movie. Sean Stephen Harrison's, Scam. Dakota Johnson has just appeared on a podcast episode.

It's her first ever interview via podcast she's done. Of course, she's the actress famous from the 50 Shades of Grey series. Madam Webb. Madam Webb, which I'm going to talk about because that movie won the Razzie. It was the worst movie of the year and instead of the Academy Awards or the Oscars celebrating great movies

and acting work and stuff, the Razis is the opposite. And she won worst actress of the year and the worst movie of the year, Madam Webb. Deservingly. Did she watch it? Have you seen it? It's shocking. Is it a Marvel thing? Yeah, it is a Marvel thing. Sony Marvel, horrible movie.

So this comes up in conversation with Amy Polar, which is her podcast. It's called, oh God, what's it called? Good Chat? No, God, what is it? Pansy your chat? No, I can't remember, but I'd be loving watching clips from that podcast. It's so good.

She's so funny. I'll get the name of it in a sec. Good hang. Good hang. Good hang. Good hang. Thanks, Sean. And she says that when she won the Razzie for Worst Actress,

Sandra Bullock slid into her DM. So it was like, girl, welcome to the worst actress club. And, like, made her kind of a joke about it and made her feel all, like, fine. And because she, like, I'd, like, Sandra Bullock. And then she also said this about it where, and maybe Harrison you can speak to this as the actor on the show, but when she signed up for Madam Webb,

it had a different, entirely different script. So she thought she was signing up for something that didn't end up being the movie that it turned out to be. I've signed on to a movie that is by the end of shooting it a completely different script than what I attached to. And that is a wild thing to, to, like a crazy journey to go on as an artist because you're like, okay, I'm doing something with my actual body and my actual mind and my heart, my emotions. I'm like using things. And it's just being taken. And but you can't do anything about it. Like what am I going to do? Can cry about Madam Webb? No. She said the same thing about her experience with 50 Shades of Grey where she signed on. It was a different actor, different script, different, what's the name of a script writer?

A screenplay, screenplay, different everything, different. Everyone was different. The story was different. And then it turned out to be something that she didn't sign down for. So it's the same experience. So I guess, I don't know. The movie did give that. It gave that.

There were a lot of rewrites. You know, the really bad movie. It's a lot of rewrites. And so it was just a mess. It made no sense. So I give her the benefit of the doubt there. But also, it's a Marvel movie. She didn't care what the story was like.

She would have got paid millions for her. Kaching. Yeah. The problem is, if you take, like, a bad Marvel character that gets, like, cut off. You can't do any other. They're real serious about how many times they have you in the cinematic universe, eh? So even if you're a side character, they won't let you back as a big one,

with the exception of Robert Downey Jr. who seems to be flying everyone. Yeah, yeah, that's so true. She's so beautiful, Dakota Johnson. So beautiful. Oh my God. One of the most beautiful human beings that must exist, surely. Bag fan.
