This is a podcast from Rover.
Welcome to the podcast equivalent of a you up text.
Messy, slightly regrettable, but you'll still come back for more.
This is the Clint Meg and Dan podcast.
Take the edge off your mornings with Clint Meg and Dan.
Edge breakfast.
Good morning, bang on 6 o'clock Monday.
Someone jinxed with the full team full steam call producer Carl who is back from sickness.
Welcome, bro.
Thanks, mate.
You're sorry about jinxing that, guys.
Yes, he said to message last night, Denise.
saying look at that full team full steam on a Monday
unfortunately Dan did also send us a message this morning at
3 a.m saying he can't make it in.
Oh mate what is going on?
Yeah it's just the middle of winter.
It's literally, is it literally the middle of winter?
Like we might be very much of it.
May June? Yeah. I'm actually supposed to be coming out of it.
May June, July.
No, no. Isn't it like August, September?
We're at least...
Oh no, February, May. I'm in June, July, August.
Yeah.
Yeah, so we've got one more month of it.
Yeah, we're right in the...
the smack bag in the middle, everybody's sick,
stuff going around everywhere.
It's normally just RSV in the flu,
but it seems to be norovirus,
RSV in the flu. People are throwing up.
I even took a COVID test when I was at home.
We still had someone, I was like, are these expired? I don't know.
British Girl? You know how Dan's away today?
We also had Sven lined up to do a cross from the Commonwealth's games.
Do you want me to? Because you know how there's that weird thing
where Sven doesn't like to come on if they don't talk,
but if Dan's not here, then he won't come on. So do you want me to cancel, Sven?
No, keep Sven.
Let's just see.
Yeah, 7.30, that'd be nice.
I mean, he might also be sick.
I don't know.
Oh, God, I hope not.
Yeah, he might have a same issue that Dan's got.
I'll check in anyway.
Well, because he's at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland, right?
Is it cold there?
Very cold.
He doesn't like...
Oh, no, he's from...
Don't worry about it.
Yeah.
Well, I hope Sven's not sick and having to stay home with their kid.
That'd be fair.
Because the Clint Megandan Dan podcast.
Clint Megan Dan with Dan,
I always sick today, unfortunately.
But we push on.
we officially kicked the show off, little coffee ketchup, see what's been going on.
You had your birthday Friday me, so how did the celebrations go?
Yeah, my guy, my husband, oh my God, knocked out of the park.
Oh, did he?
It's just, I mean, are we surprised?
We're not, we're not, because he is so fantastic.
And he started the, even like, it was like, I guess, 4.30 in the morning.
And he woke you up with a facial.
No, voucher.
It's disgusting.
Yeah, yeah, there was a facial voucher.
I made my wife a voucher book once, but she didn't really use it.
She hasn't used it.
She's still, you're like,
you can still use those badges.
I'm like,
they don't expire.
No,
he surprised me by sitting up some activities.
I went and did,
which is so class at me.
With my daughter, Daisy,
I did,
um,
we paint your own ceramics.
Nice.
I like that.
It's cute.
It's good.
Yeah,
it was great.
It was so expensive.
Oh,
they haven't,
oh,
he didn't just buy ceramics
for you to paint.
You guys go to a special place.
We went to a place
and painted ceramics.
And it was like,
it was heaven.
It was a room full of my people.
Yeah.
You know,
I looked around and I could be friends with every single of other people in here.
And it was so nice.
And there were like groups of women like four to five that were just sitting down and sat.
It was pouring in with rain and they just sat and they just spent hours,
paintings and ceramics and talking.
It was just like so nice.
Is it alcohol? No, God, no.
So that was that was what we did.
We just sat there were two hours in paintings.
It feels like there could be like B. Y O wine or whatever.
You don't need it.
No, I don't need alcohol to do activities.
What did you do?
It was my dad's 70th.
Thankfully, I didn't forget that one.
Yeah.
And my daughter's football team that I've been coaching this season,
they took on a team that they lost to 2-1 early on in the season.
And they beat them 9-0 on Saturday.
Wow, come back.
Didn't they all come around to your house?
How would that go?
Oh, yeah, my daughter had a bit of a walking school bus on Friday for her birthday.
For her birthday parties.
I had like 10 or 11.
What's a walking school party?
What's that?
Oh, me, like, we went and just picked them all up at school.
we all just like walk home.
And then we had them at our house on Friday night,
maybe like 11 or 12 of them.
All night?
No, thank God.
No.
I mean, no.
Parents pick them up like seven.
Oh, yeah, great.
Yeah, but it's amazing what kids want to do now.
It's not like pass the parcels out, pin the tails out.
No.
They, instead, my daughter put together like a piece of music
by recording a whole bunch of different songs
and editing them all together.
And then the girls all went in like,
learned different dances to the music
and then they all perform them while they all judged each other.
One of the girls was that, yeah, it was
creative, but a lot of the times you were out of
sync and you didn't do this
and didn't do this. Didn't do this. So
that's why you lost half a point. So 9.5
out of 10. I was like, oh wow, okay,
I thought she was gearing up for a four or something
based on her critiques. And then
they played bingo. You know, like the bingo
with your blotts and stuff?
Did they win anything? Yeah, and they're prizes.
Like, obviously if you got bingo, you got better prizes
than if you ended up getting bingo
third. Yeah, it was interesting. I was thinking this isn't fun and then they recorded themselves
doing the lolly salad. The video doesn't go anywhere, but they wanted to film themselves doing all that.
Oh my gosh, how wild that that's like, how old is she 10 11? 11 year old birthdays now. Although
my 11th, no my 10th, I did a, my mom hired her friend who was a photographer and we did a photo shoot to be models.
So I guess it's all the same. Yeah, they did all these photos. So I said to my wife, I have all these
photos now in my phone. So can you start a WhatsApp so I can like send them to the parents and get rid of them?
Otherwise, I just have them.
You've just got weird photoships.
All right, we have a podcast if you haven't subscribed to it called Overthinkers.
It sits alongside the show recap podcast.
And to entice you to get that, we play your little snippets from previous episodes.
Friday's one was out the gate.
Yeah, we can play this one because I think Dan's are not here to tell us not to.
Yeah.
I'll give you the question and you can actually try and come up with your own answer on this one
because Dan's answer to a listener sent in question
backfired on him almost instantly.
The Clint Meg and Dan podcast.
Olivia Dean, man I need on the edge easy money,
7 o'clock this morning.
If you want a thousand bucks,
just give us 10 answers.
In 30 seconds, starting with the letter,
Meggives you at 7.
This is the Overthinkers podcast.
You can take a podcast, right,
to 3, 3,343 if you want the link,
and you can get the show podcast
that we obviously put up every morning.
Usually pretty
What can you say?
It's just more loosey-goosey than this is.
Yeah, totally.
I guess because it's only going up in podcast,
form the Overtinkers podcast,
where you can get away with a little bit more
than we can on here.
Although, there was talk a few weeks back
about the broadcasting standards authority
not being a thing anymore
and everyone was going to police themselves.
Yeah, so we could do anything really on this
but we won't because you trust us.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should?
Because if you annoy people,
they'll go somewhere else, right?
Yeah.
So this was a question that was actually
sent in by a listener because if you do want to message us, you can.
We've got an Oberthinker's Feedback page on Instagram.
You got mail.
If you had to replace your hands with kitchen utensils, which two would you use?
I have thought about this in the past.
Of course you have.
A fork and a pair of tongs.
Oh, handy.
The tongs are because of the tongs.
It can be different.
Yeah, well, it says which two would you choose?
So I would do a fork to be able to easily pick up things, stab things.
Although very hard to eat soup.
Can I am a soup person?
What about you guys?
I've taken those two.
You've got...
Oh, you can't cover a lot.
I think I'd have like a...
Some cooking oil.
It's not a utensil.
You can't have condiments.
Like some cooking oil and a rolling pin.
That is cooked, bro.
It's kinky, man.
Why?
Why?
Where are you shoving the rolling pin
that's being oiled up, my bird?
Jesus Christ.
Get some fucking hobbies.
I still don't know what he could have...
We never got the answer
because he just started laughing.
We never got the answer of why he actually thought
they would be a good idea.
I mean, we speculated obviously a little longer than that clip,
but not all of which we can play on it.
I still don't know what, without being weird with it,
what else you would want a rolling pin and cooking oil for?
The only saving grace I thought was pasta,
because isn't there just flour and oil and you roll it out?
There's eggs in there as well.
That's going to be hard to make an egg.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, I just don't get it.
He's going to need it.
I don't even know he like pasta that much clit.
Like I haven't used to be...
I'm so confused.
All right, we'll get some scandal.
Kid Lions coming up and what's been going on
over the weekend inside the next three minutes.
And then first call all the day.
Love it if you could join us, if you had a big weekend,
and you want to share 0800 the Edge.
Clint Meg and Dan.
Clint Megan Dan scandal.
It was a big weekend over the weekend
with Comic Con Ryan Gosley
and the new Ghost Rider that was announced.
That was it. Everybody was excited about.
Marvel was also laid out a clear path
with the next phase.
Spider-Man being released this week,
the 31st, Bray New Day.
Then we've got Avengers Doomsday December the 18th,
Avengers Secret Way next December,
and Black Panther and Ghost Rider both 2028.
What was all that endgame stuff about then?
Thought that was it?
No.
Oh, okay.
I haven't seen any end-games.
I mean, it was it for that phase of Marvel,
and it's a whole bunch of different people now and characters and stuff.
I wish I was into the Marvel stuff.
Yeah, it's so exciting.
But I feel like I need like a roadmap of watch these five films and then I'll be hooked.
And I unfortunately miss them.
There will be so many people that will be able to give you that roadmap if you really want to commit.
Like my husband, one of them, Cal, another one.
Yeah, I would like it.
Yeah, it's really exciting.
I know it's 2028, but yeah, people are high for Ghost Rider 28.
Just hits.
In Auckland.
The Edge. The Edge.
The Edge. Clare Meg and Dan.
First call of the day next.
I love it to be you.
Oh, 100. The Edge.
Let us know what you got up to.
Maybe you had a big weekend.
got a big week coming.
Yeah.
I've got a big week coming.
Oh, do you?
Yes.
Well, we've got a photo shoot together.
Oh, that's right.
What is that photo shoot for?
We'll be new photos of like the ones that we've got in the background here.
We'll have new photos, which I got it about because I really wanted another at least year to get back into my like prime meg.
I was like, I even just said to my marketing manager said.
I was like, please, another year.
She's like, no, you look great.
I'm like, damn.
Clint, Megan, Dan.
First call of the day.
First call of the day.
All right.
It's freezing where David is this morning.
Hey, David.
Kura, bro.
Hey, how you going, guys?
Good, mate.
What is it in Fakitani?
How cold?
Zero degrees.
I just, my phone fell down, and I just picked my phone up.
I was off, sort of snap you guys a photo of the temperature.
Like, yeah, it's pretty chilly, and I rode my bike, my motorbike over to work,
so I was probably about Nek 2.
Damn.
So it's not very cold, my fingers were stinging.
I was like, oh, she, wonder what the temperature is.
Mm-hmm.
Zero.
Yeah, so it's pretty chilly, but at the Bluebird Day,
so if you're going down to the mountain snowboarding and stuff,
they're pretty rad.
Oh, be perfect.
Do you know what?
Yeah.
The one person that's made me want to go and visit the snow
was Sidney's Sweeney's photos that she posted on Instagram.
She's in Queenstown and with, what's his face, her new boyfriend?
Scooter.
Scooter.
Yeah.
Wow.
Should we have the headlights on, brother?
Yeah.
Yeah, well.
Vegas, she's always going to make you one.
to visit Queensland because she's doing it not on a budget.
Like she's choppering to the mountains
and they turn the helicopter off.
Doing bungee jumps and go to Winni Begos.
Yeah, yeah. And I think she was like
front and centre when, um, look like
what's the name when, um, Jason Mamoy?
Mammao was playing. He does. He does. He does see
the EJ set's done in Queensland. Okay, that did
look like a fun weekend then. Yeah, yeah.
He was doing them. I think that's pretty rad. Yeah.
I think they might at the Whittaker Festival, I'm not sure when that is.
But I live down there, we used to go that, we worked
to Katsby and drop to mountain snowboarding
on our off time. So that's not.
I was younger, but we got at the pig and whistle.
Yeah, Biggin' whistle.
God, that's where my hair caught him fire.
They've got security footage there.
And the pick and whistle.
Yeah, it's a pretty nice place.
See, I see Sydney, Sweeney and I go,
oh, that looks amazing.
Maybe I should take the family to Queenstown.
Like, it looks so nice.
$20,000 later.
Yeah, but then you realize, no, that's not the reality.
The reality for us will be going to a place
and trying to hire snow gear,
and we're in the store for like an hour and a half
trying to get gear that fits us all.
And then we drive up to the mountain
and we get their lake
because we've got kids
and now we're parked miles away
from the mountain
and we got to walk up
and by the time we get their kids
are like, my feet are,
my boots are too small.
I reckon she's got her face
buried in a Fergburger.
Oh yeah, actually
I reckon Sydney wouldn't mind her burger
to be fair, they are the best.
She would have had one.
Yeah, it's good to see
that she is here and enjoying it.
I mean, it's no surprise
it is world-class Queensland.
Yeah, it is the best of the best.
It's pretty fantastic
but I don't know what I'd say.
I saw.
Yeah.
Probably what recognises, to be honest.
Hey, thanks, everyone.
You enjoy freezing faketani, bro.
I hope it warms up once the sun comes out.
Yeah, David's the best.
Yeah, he is, eh?
Yeah, always good.
Yeah, we've got some goodies, eh?
The 6am crew, bloody good, eh?
Yeah, yeah, thanks, guys.
All right, coming up, we'll get into naughty 640.
This isn't actually really all that naughty,
but I guess it's probably an interesting one for me to bring to the table.
But I wonder, Meg, if you're doing it.
because my wife sent me something and I said to it,
nah, that's somebody who's trolling you.
No one's doing that with their period blood.
And the wife's like, no, people do do that.
Okay.
I don't do much with mine other than flush it down the toilet,
so let's see.
My wife sent me a reel.
Sometimes that's just how we communicate in the evenings.
And it was just of a woman emptying her moon cup of menstrual blood
into a glass jar
and then adding 10 parts
water to one part blood
and then watering her plants with it.
Yeah, right. Now the caption
didn't show
me why
or how it's beneficial, but I'm imagining it makes the plants
grow faster, but I'd like a side-by-side
comparison of a tomato plant growing
with just water and another one growing with
menstrual blood and water. People pay a lot of money for
blood and bone fertiliser, isn't that? But it's
from animals, so why not just use your own blood, I
I mean, I looked it up and it said it has nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in it,
like with commercial fertilizers, and it's free, and it's growing in the bin.
Well, me, Texan saying, free bleeding on the earth is tribal, man.
Let it flow.
But I do think, I think, did you see the amazing woman in China who got a period mid-marathon the other day?
Did you see that?
No.
Did everybody in this room see that, boys?
Did you guys see the woman in the, during a marathon in China?
who got a period halfway through it's amazing so oh damn i wish i'd i'll set up a bounce back she
got her period halfway through this marathon she's just wearing little um like you know how some
people marathon runners really really tough ones weird just like speedos almost in like a tank top
and she got her period as she was running she just kept going and when she crossed the finish line
she just said blood all down her legs and um because she thought well if i go and try and stop and
go to the bathroom and find a tampon or a pad or something it's going to work my time and
She didn't want it to record time.
She'd worked for months and months and months.
And I thought it was the most amazing,
incredible thing to show resilience
and to, I guess, normalize something.
That is so normal.
They happen to us every month if you're a woman from the age of 12.
Amazing.
Maybe not most amazing.
She'd broken her leg and still finished.
It would have probably been more.
Sure.
Amazing.
Yeah, that would be amazing if somebody broke their leg and finished a marathon.
Sure.
But this was also pretty amazing.
Yeah, you've always got to find something.
I like to antagonize.
I thought it was
I keep looking back at the photos
I am so like inspired by it
in an awe of somebody like that
who just didn't care
even though she I know there'll be
I'm on the good side of the internet
where it was just support
there'll be a lot of bad side of the internet
seeing that photo saying it's disgusting
You know those people that are like
just try to be like super resourceful
like my wife has started
I don't even realise you could do this
you can recycle plastic like plastic bags
like that you might get mesculin
like lettuce and stuff in right
or twisty package
and whatever, and you have to take into a certain part of the supermarket
and they take all your plastics.
Problem is my wife then spends a lot of water,
like a lot of hot water and soap and whatever,
washing all the insides of the twisty bag
because it can't have any residue on it.
And then we hang all these plastic bags
in various places around the kitchen so they can dry.
So then we can take the bag of plastic to the supermarket.
So I don't know if we're undermining our resourcefulness
by using all the hot water and stuff
to clean the bags, but
sometimes I think people can go to great lengths
to try to be resourceful and reuse things
and whether it be...
Like the person that used their hair is floss.
Their hair is floss?
Who's that? That's you.
No, that's not me.
That's you.
No, it's not me.
I saw it on a program.
I saw it on that cheapskates program.
I've never forgotten it.
And I remember thinking, is it a terrible idea or is it smart?
Yeah, I guess it's like that cheapskates
stuff we've talked about before where you go,
that's actually really resourceful.
Or you're just like, you're being cheap, man.
Like, you're being so cheap.
Just let it go.
We could either talk resourcefulness or people, now that we've moved on to marathon,
somebody said my mum did a half marathon,
broke her something, her mid-hustle in her foot and finished the race
because she didn't want her sister behind her to win.
My friend, when she was younger, she actually did a cross-country and a broken foot
because her mum didn't believe her.
I think it's broken.
I'm just like, she's not.
No, it's not.
I'll keep going.
I'll run it and then we'll give the X-ray and you'll feel bad.
That's exactly what happened.
Okay, and let's take both.
All right.
Yeah, sure.
Resourcefulness.
Impressive marathon finishes.
Clint, Meg and Dan.
Although we were just talking earlier about impressive marathon finishes.
Because sometimes it doesn't always go according to your running plan, I imagine.
And Meg was talking about a woman in a marathon in China who ended up getting her period halfway through.
And just was like, bugger it.
Yeah, Lee meets Dan.
She's a marathon runner.
And she crossed the finish line two hours, 35 minutes and seven seconds with a very, very good time.
because she didn't stop.
Well, Bex reckons her husband had something happened that was a little unexpected during the race
and was like, I've got to finish it, I want to ruin my time.
Morning, Bex.
Hello, how are you?
Yeah, good.
You ever done a marathon yourself?
No, absolutely.
Not a marathon run.
Neither.
I did a half once and I almost died and I vowed in that moment that I would never run a full marathon in my life and I'm okay with that.
Yeah, good.
Oh, it's great that people can do it.
But apparently it's really normal, like, for people to weigh while they're running.
Like, no one ever stops to go to the toilet.
They just wait.
So when you're hugging them at the end, it's not always just sweat.
Isn't it?
It's like one of those things that they're in.
If you were to do that, we talked about it the other day,
if you were to be in a concert waiting to see Olivia Rodriguez and you pee yourself,
it's disgusting.
But if you're not, you know, if you're happy to pee yourself to get a good runtime, that's not your...
How long does your husband take to run a marathon?
Oh, it's quite long.
Four or five hours.
I'm pretty sure if I went to the toilet now, I could hold it four hours.
And you're sweating while you run, so you're already...
Could you hold while running that?
Yeah, exactly, Bex.
Like, that's a whole different kettle of fish, because you're bouncing up and down.
I don't know.
Like, he's going wheeze before the run, isn't he?
I just think as...
As an adult, I reckon four hours is not...
I mean, if he's wanting to get impressive times,
holding his wee for four hours, tell him that it impressed me.
But you're drinking lots of water too as well.
He's the water, electrolyte.
Honestly, arguing with him about something like this.
He's always sweating a lot of it out, sure.
No, why don't you try it on its out wages?
Thanks, Bex.
I love her, she's trying to defend her man.
No, he needs to piss himself.
Somebody else, when we're talking,
impressive marathon finishes.
I finished, even though my mate who convinced me to enter
pulled out before the start of the race.
That'd piss me off.
I'd be like, the reason I'm here is because of you,
and you're not even doing it now.
Oh, I love this text, and sorry from Will,
who knows a lot, obviously,
getting a period because he's never had one.
So only a millennial like Megan would celebrate somebody getting a period and not taking
precautions prior to the race about to have, I'm sorry, to know that you're coming
on to your period in case you'll have a sudden period.
That does happen well.
Like it doesn't happen where you just wake up one day.
Some people do have, I get my period on the 18th every month.
I bloody don't.
I get mine between like the 22nd and the 28th.
I don't know when it's happening.
Oh, like a proper almost weak window.
Yeah, I've absolutely been on the show and I've gone.
shit, I think I've just got in my period
and I have to go to the bathroom and I check and I go
yep, it just come on. I'm going to have it. If that were true
if you could always pick it, then girls wouldn't end up bleeding through
white jeans. Because you'd be like, why would you be wearing white jeans?
We're not just being lazy and not preparing
ourselves. It just happens
sometimes where your body starts a period. You don't know what's coming.
What a weird thing to get mad about?
It's also a weird thing for a guided
stuff. Yeah, that's what I mean.
Of all the things that we can pretend
we know about, like that would be one.
sit out of.
Personally, hey, we're all different.
This one makes the world interesting.
Clint, Megan, Dan.
Your favorite game on the edge.
Just hits.
Easy money.
Bang on 7 o'clock Monday.
Louis's looking to win a thousand bucks if you can give us 10 answers.
Starting with the letter the med gives him inside 30 seconds, the cash is his.
No repeated answers.
Louis, good morning, bro.
Hello.
Good morning.
Louis or Lewis?
Which one?
It's Louis.
Oh, it's Louis.
Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
All right, Louis.
your letter this morning is H.
Okay.
All right.
H.
H.
H, okay, here we go.
H.
Okay, 30 seconds on the clock.
Our time will start at the end of Meg asking you your first question.
Give me something you'd have for breakfast.
Hot O.
An adjective.
Oh, a path.
A musical instrument.
Harmonica.
A TV show.
Oh, God.
A type of cheese
A lot of extreme weather
Hurricane
A sixth letter word
A country
Hope
Oh my God
Tricky when you're on
No
No
You're on New really
No
Louis I always do better than that
Yes I do
I always listen I'm like
I can win
Sometimes you just need your slumdog
Millie in a moment
You just need the right letter, the right time.
An adjective would have been happy or hungry.
And then the other one that you missed out on TV show,
how I met your mother, home and away.
House?
House.
I'm watching House at the moment.
You're watching House!
Oh my gosh, you don't have a growback.
Sorry, brother, it was good to chat with you, man.
You have a great start to the week.
Don't leave this one knock you back.
All right, back again at 8 o'clock if you think you can do a little better than Louis.
Best of luck we'll chat here in an hour.
Megan's Dan
Stinky boo
Okay, a couple of girls
On holiday
Staying in an Airbnb
Okay
And they find a piece of art
On the wall
And realize they know people
In the artwork
Which is like an aerial shot
Yeah, it's like an aerial shot
Of a beach with a whole lot of people
Like swimming in the water
And laying on towels
They're literally in the Airbnb picture.
We have those swimsuits.
We are literally in the
this picture. It's the craziest thing. We're on our Airbnb wall. So it's not like, oh my God,
those people wearing the same togs as us. She's like, those people are us, including,
this is how many members of her family are in this artwork and an Airbnb that she's staying in.
This looks like me. And I'm like, oh, dad, what? No, this is my dad. That's my sister, Libby,
when she was 10 years ago. And that's Brady, my brother, 10 years ago. So it's crazy. I think
It's for some reason more crazy that it was 10 years ago as well.
Like that photo happened to be taken by a drone 10 years ago when they happened to be on a beach
and then it happened to get printed on a canvas only to be purchased by this Airbnb and put up in a room.
And then they went and...
It's not like they went to this beach all the time and it's at the beach that they went and stayed at.
Sure.
And so what is the distance, Meg, from California, because that's where the Airbnb was,
to where they live in.
San Diego.
Five and a half hour drive.
Five and a half hour.
Yeah, you're right.
So it's not like...
So it's not like, you know, like if you go to holiday at a beach,
just like say, I'm going to go on holiday at Long Bay Beach.
And then there's a canvas picture at Long Bay Beach, Airbnb.
That would make more sense.
Sure.
But this is just random.
It's not the same beach.
Yeah, yeah, you're right.
If you're in like Fittiyanga or something.
And then you fly to crush it.
And then the Airbnb is a photo of you at a beach in Fittiyanga with your family.
Yeah.
Does that seem crazy to you?
The coincidence of that girls are all buzzing out and saying the internet is like, oh my God,
and the others are going, so freaking what?
Oh, I find that impressive.
I like coincidences.
I got to imagine not being impressed by that.
Well, Dan might not.
And I know he doesn't love a birthday coincidence very much because they're a little more common.
But maybe it's a chance for us to bring back beat that coincidence.
One of our, well, one of my favorite ones ever was when a girl was at high school.
And firemen came because there was a fire at the school.
and the girls wanted to get photos with the fireman.
And then about five or six years later,
she bumps into this guy, starts dating him,
and her Snapchat memories bring it up a photo of her with these firemen,
and it's now the guy she's dating.
Yeah, she had no idea that she'd already previously met him.
Unless she, like, stalked him after.
And then, yeah.
That's a long time to wait, though, five years.
Ah, people pointed longer.
Really?
Hell God, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah. Okay, be that a coincidence.
Dan's not here, so you've got a little easier.
Yeah, true, true.
You'll be impressed.
All right, if you've got a story where you go, Matt, this is a crazy coincidence.
0-800 The Edge or you can fire us a text 33-4-3.
We'll chat with you next.
Beat that coincidence.
Have you got a story that's almost too crazy to be true?
Somebody texts this one through and I was like, this is good.
They've just become first-time homeowners.
Oh, wow.
They've moved in, and over the last couple of months, they've been getting to know their neighbours.
And they got chatting with a neighbour, an elderly couple next door,
one of which she used to be a midwife
turns out the elderly lady next door
delivered her as a baby
Can't get her on to chat
You guys are busy on a Monday morning
I get it but come on
I love to chat with you
We've got another amazing one that we can't get on for a chat
My husband has a police officer
I got the police for somebody breaking into cars
And he took my details as the informant
Years later I joined the force
And we started dating unknown
About unknowing about the previous encounter
then he went through his old notebooks looking for details of a different job and found my details
oh wow so that already met before she was even a police officer yeah love that love that okay
let's go to david oh i hit with the edge hey david hey david hey how you going going good
good good yeah what's your coincidence that uh people might struggle to be
mine's pretty random but um we've got a big fauna up in the east coast and um i was on tinder
and made a match and um funny enough
I met this person at the PAPTHA over in Taurong,
and I looked at the last name, and it looked familiar.
Not mine, but it was a match to a connection to Alfano.
So, yes, I think I was going to date one of my cousins without knowing it.
That's a worry.
Yeah.
She was pretty quick.
Shit.
Oh, she's pretty cute.
Yeah, but unfortunately.
Yeah, but related.
People up in Northland are like, that's not that uncommon, bro.
That's East Coast that I was like
Oh bro, I was like
Yeah I think we might be connected
So I'm my last name
And this is where I'm from
And then she's like
We could be
But I think she just still
And she's just to carry on dating
Yeah
What are your kids like
They all good
Yeah
And so I was like
Quickly smash my beer
Like
Well thanks for that
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
in iconic locations we came across
an international penguin conference
being out at the university
which we discovered
happens every two years in different
locations around the world and it happened
to be the 10 year anniversary
my friend and I joked of all the days
I could be at a penguin competition
and we went to leave the area
before deciding we couldn't miss the chance and gate crash
the conference that's so good
right it's brilliant it's a perfect
coincidence yeah oh she's on
oh damn sweet okay
Rachel. So wait, you were
at a penguin outfit for what?
So you were just filming something for a mate?
So it was meant to be the Masters Games in Dunedin.
Yeah.
And one of the organizers asked me if I would go around
and do some filming in a penguin costume.
And me and my friend were like, sure, we can do that for a bit of fun.
Yeah.
And we went around like different areas in Dunedin.
And then we're at the clock tower at the Targo Unis.
Yep.
And then we saw the sign that was like an international penguin conference.
And we're like, holl that's funny.
And then we're like, well, we went to leave.
And then we're like, well, we might as well just go in.
And no one questioned us.
No, you wouldn't.
Yeah, of course they wouldn't.
I mean, they're like...
What's the penguin doing here?
It's the TD anniversary of the Penguin Conference.
That's so great.
I hope you got a few free club sandwiches or something.
Oh, they just let me walk right into this massive conference.
They stopped the conference.
Everyone stood up and gave me a standing.
Ovation is they all flat.
I love that.
It's so great right now.
I mean, they stopped the whole conference
to take photos and selfies with me.
Yeah, as they would, because
they're at a penguin conference.
It's a great question.
I love that. I love that. I love that.
Rachel takes the cake on that one.
Yeah.
Yeah, and sorry, a couple people
were annoyed from Northern.
I throw in Shady. Yeah.
I can, though, because a lot of my family
are in Northern. My uncle,
is my uncle and my cousin.
Anyway, it's all legit.
You just need a few minutes to sit down,
while I show you the family train.
We don't have the time.
Clint, Meg and Dan.
And I only had my first day back on Friday
because I was sick for most of last week.
And so I really didn't get a chance to catch up, Meg,
on some of the holiday that you and I both had.
I probably had more of a holiday than you, I think.
Yeah, let's just say that you had a holiday.
I think mine's been changed to sick leave and sexually.
I was on a cruise.
We talked about this because we chatted on our Overthinkers podcast.
We're wife and I went to this love and marriage game show.
and they try to work out, who knows their spouse better.
Do you win stuff?
Yeah, yeah, you do.
You win more alcohol.
Oh.
And I don't know, probably like coasters and a cruise bag.
Yeah, right.
Carnival written all over it or something.
But they wanted to see, who knows their partner better?
Those were being married for only a few months.
I guess my wife and I had 17 years, and there was another couple.
It was 57 years.
And we weren't supposed to be on it, but we had a bit too much to drink.
And then they said, put your hand up if you want to come up on stage.
My wife and I'd go on.
And then they started auditioning.
Go listen to the podcast.
The Overthinkers podcast.
You can text podcasts to 3-3-4-3 to find out how Clint and his wife, Jamie,
managed to get on stage and what they had to compete with.
It is, to me, what are the most outrageous things that you've ever admitted to doing?
Yeah, I probably can't admit to doing it on radio.
Yeah, there was me and 12 other couples and we all had to audition.
And so my wife and I ended up beating out 11 other couples with what we did.
Anyway, we got to stage and there were a bunch of questions.
and you'd write them down on your whiteboard
and then you'd hopefully have the same answer as your partner,
which typically I didn't.
I put Meg through those same questions,
so if you do listen to the pod,
you'll hear how she goes against her husband.
Guy.
One of the questions was,
you haven't seen ugly until you've seen my wife's.
It's an interesting one.
I couldn't really think of much for me and my husband to answer with.
She went with office space,
and unfortunately I went with little toe.
She's got one little toe,
and it's just like really fat and hump,
compared to the others and it doesn't have like a toenail because there's so much like
like skin in the toe that it's like there's not have room for the toenail anyway it wasn't good
because I was already 0 for three at that point so that was just another one I got wrong I guess
you's got to have a single floor and a little toes all that she's got we also got the question
wrong if we gave you a hundred dollars for every time you had made love on the cruise how much money
would you have? My wife said $200
and I said $400.
But that was because the kids walked in
on us almost twice
so we had to stop and so when we started again
I counted that as a new time.
I think most guys would.
No, you definitely wouldn't because you didn't
do it the first time. Yeah, you did and he stopped
and then you went back to it. Oh yeah, then I would count it.
Oh my God! Wow.
But the problem was
after we'd sobered up
the next day
Yeah.
Everyone on the ship.
And because there were a lot of people at that show.
You didn't realize how many.
Everyone who walked past us goes,
you made any progress on that four times yet?
And they knew us by names.
And they'd be like,
my wife talked about,
because they'd ask where was the most random place
you've ever made love.
So someone else walked past and said,
lucky there's no awfully dog parks on the ship here,
hey, Clint.
And I was like, yeah, mate, okay.
And so we became famous for all the wrong reasons
on the ship.
because my wife and I were brutally honest.
Always had different answers.
Spotlight on you, even on the cruise.
You're like, guys, you don't know I'm Clint Randall.
And then we wanted a bottle of wines.
We finished that off as well.
We had a great night, but the next day we were paying for it.
So I thought maybe it's a chance to bring back.
Well, even on the alcohol, you might actually have a story from the weekend
where you're like, I wouldn't normally have done that.
But I'd had a couple too many tequilas and I became a different person.
you'd have a story, Meg, from your Queenstown days for sure.
No, nowadays you're a little bit more responsible.
Now I don't drink, but I, yeah, I'd have many a story back in the day.
I mean, you take your pick.
You can't take your pick.
Too many.
You've got a story you're willing to admit to us when you change your name,
disguise your voice, where you go, honestly, it wasn't my fault.
I blame it on the alcohol.
Blame it on the alcohol, what'd you do?
Maybe over the weekend that you look back on now and you go,
oh, that wasn't me.
I shouldn't have done that.
I wouldn't normally have done that if it wasn't under the influence.
Or it could be an old story you look back on and you go, yeah, that was a moment.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You can just call 100 the edge Texas 3, 3343.
I'm trying to think of something specifically.
But it's just, I just, I just black them out.
I just black them out.
It's been a lot of money.
I've woken up with a lot of pizzas.
Oh, somebody else texting saying I ordered 100 chicken nuggets.
When I got home, there were 92 left.
So obviously I wasn't as hungry as I thought I was.
someone else bought a boat
that's awesome
your drunk purchases
because I wonder as well
we can't get them on but I wonder as well
if it's one of those ones where
you knew you did in the morning
or you had no idea
and then you get someone messaging you going
when are you coming to pick up the boat
and you're like what boat
so many questions for that one
yeah that's a nightmare yeah I wouldn't go to an auction
under the influence because I would get stupid
like I know me
I said they got a tattoo that they forgot about
until the next morning
I didn't think you're allowed to tattoo drunk people.
It depends where you are.
I think they've got different rules at different places.
And a couple people texting that they message an X after years of no contact after too many cans or jars, I suppose.
Linda joins us.
Morning, Linda.
Morning.
Hang up with the window.
Good morning.
Good morning.
Morning.
It was your 65th birthday on Saturday.
What happened?
Happy birthday, by the way.
This morning I've been talking to a guy that I had come across on Tinder, which was quite cute.
And I said to him, listen, if I call you later, don't answer, eh?
Don't answer.
And, yeah, well, he didn't listen to me.
So he was into the office.
And we decided to call him.
I dragged in a South African friend because this guy was South African.
I said, you suck them out for me, okay?
And I was sitting on the lap of my girlfriend, because there was not a lot of places.
sit and she's quite cute and um i sat on her
the video call so wrong video call and right in the middle of it god knows what i was saying
but she reached around the front and pulled aside my dress
linda don't leave us hanging like that where'd you go
are you back
okay yeah you linda you cut out as soon as you said she pulled aside my dress
uh my breast i talk to him later or next day i bet you did
And 18 miscalls from him.
To seek him base without even meeting.
Somebody.
Wow.
So are you still messaging now that you're sober?
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Keep us updated.
Let us know how it goes.
Okay.
All right, thanks, Linda.
Clint McGu-Den-Lash-co.
All right, easy money.
And looks like we got ourselves the first-time caller in Caleb.
First-time caller.
Just, Caleb.
Can you call to call?
Good morning, good morning, how old.
Good morning, mate.
It's, hey, if $1,000 is what it takes, bro,
to get you to pick up the phone and chat with us, that's fine.
Yep, that's a bit nerve-wracking, but hopefully it goes good.
Okay.
Do you normally do well when you're just playing the car?
I'm a bit hit and miss.
Okay, all right.
I got some guys with me, so they're going to help me.
Oh, okay, good, good, good.
And that's totally fine.
As long as you say the answer, that's what we're here.
We can't use their voices.
The problem, Caleb, sometimes is the time in which it takes for your mate to say,
the answer to you and then you to say the answer to us, you can run out of time.
But, I mean, it's your strategy, bro.
If your thing's going to help, then power to you.
All right, here we go, Caleb.
Let them all know your letter is O.
Okay.
Oh, okay.
All right.
So you'll have 30 seconds on the clock.
You need to give us 10 answers starting with the letter O.
No repeated answers.
And your time starts at the end of Meg asking your first question.
You ready, bro?
Yeah, pretty.
Cool.
Okay.
Give me a name.
Oliver.
A band.
One direction.
One direction.
Something you wear?
A rules.
A TV series?
Pass.
A flower.
Office?
Office.
A flower.
A flower.
A flower.
Orchid.
A verb.
What the hell is a verb?
Pass.
Something you find in the ear.
Um.
Oxygen.
Oxygen.
A five-letter word.
Five little word.
Olive.
Olive.
Damn.
Oh, who's with you?
She's amazing in the background.
Yeah, she should be playing, right?
That was my sister.
She was telling me all the answers.
She's very good for play.
When she said flower, did she?
I was wondering if the boss was going to pay Orchard when I think you meant Orchid.
But maybe he got lost in translation.
She needs to ring up and play, Caleb.
What's her name?
Um, uh, it doesn't matter.
Okay.
Her mate, his brain's so franzal, he can't remember his sister's name.
Is that or it's not his sister
and it's someone that shouldn't be with him?
Don't do Caleb Dutney like that.
I'm sure there is a valid reason
for him to be hanging out with that attractive sounding woman.
Oh no, it'll be a sister.
Hey, up next, very, very excited.
I'm going to give you an update on Long Distance Bestie Island in Fiji.
If you are somebody that frantically jumps online
and tried to book your spot for you and your bestie
in your listing this morning, give us a call.
0-800 The Edge.
Let us know, are you win?
Have you paid your deposit?
it. Are you on the wait list?
Clint, Meg and Dan.
Oh, my gosh.
Long distance, Bessie Island.
Fiji!
Yeah, we went on sale officially
Friday morning 8 a.m.
Mm-hmm.
And what time do you reckon it was
that you text me?
Midday.
Midday.
And Meg goes,
oh my God, we've had an overwhelmingly
positive response from people
all across New Zealand
and a lot of besties in Aussie as it seems.
Yeah, a lot of Australians, all over New Zealand, up and down the country.
And then the words sold out were being pushed around the group chat.
And so we were like, what is going on?
We spoke to Duck Horse, and they have said, yes, obviously,
we are at capacity in terms of the amount of interest that people have expressed wanting to come.
But until they pay their deposit, they haven't financially secured their spot officially.
Yeah, so there is officially a wait list, which is really exciting
because there will be some people, I'm guessing, that have gone on
and then won't be able to have the deposit,
which is sad for them, but exciting for you.
Yeah, well, maybe they're really keen to do it, maybe their Bestie Khan or who knows.
Things change.
So you can definitely still get on the best list.
The waitlist by going to bestie island.com.
NZ is $2,900, but that is for flights, accommodation,
your food, your alcohol for, I think, apart from one day,
all you need to figure out is your passport, your visa,
and your food for one day.
and the rest of it is completely catered for activities,
photo shoot with your bestie
on a beautiful private like island.
Yeah, and I've just done a massive renovation
on Beachcoma as well.
I was looking at photos.
Almost don't even recognise it from the place it was when I was last there.
Yeah, $500 deposit and the rest you figure out later.
Yeah.
So if you and your bestie have just been in the group chat for far too long
and you're like, we need to catch up, when are we going to catch up?
This is made for you.
Yeah, exactly, just to take all the admin out of it
and you just go, right, we're going to catch up.
October 15th to 19th.
Yes.
That is when you can be going to Fiji
and seeing your bestie for the first time
and maybe forever.
But you will have to join a wait list
and hope that those ahead of you
I guess have some sort of unfortunate circumstance
happen between now and then that benefits you.
But really exciting to see so many people
wanting to come hang out and party on
Beachcomer Island and Fiji with their besties in a few months.
It's the first time we've done anything like this.
I know there are other radio stations.
that do similar sort of things.
It's the first time we've ever done something that it's like you have to pay for it to come,
but we've facilitated it for you to be able to do this for your best friends.
So shout out to Fiji Airways, Tourism Fiji.
A lot of these people have put on special deals to really bring that cost down for you
and your bestie.
Tewaka, Tenoa International Hotel and Beachcoma Island Resort as well.
So appreciate you guys.
Duck Horse as well.
New Zealand's event specialist, event creation, delivery and packdown.
No one likes doing the packdown.
Yeah, but they do it for you.
just go see you guys, do you need a hand with anything?
And you really hope they go, no, we're good?
God, they've been amazing, eh?
So how good if you and your bestie,
want to get out of the group chat and head to Fiji
and just escape some of this freezing cold weather.
Then just takes to where bestie,
that'll still give you the bounce back, eh?
Yeah, it will be.
Just here to 3343.
And you can be doing just that.
Up next, more or less, Commonwealth Games edition.
We've started really well with some great medals.
Getting on the podium.
Yeah, we always did pretty well at the Commonwealth Games.
So I've got a little game to see who has had the
most.
The Clint Meg and Dan
podcast.
Clint Megan Dan's
More or Less.
Nice and easy one.
It gives us two options.
You just have to guess
if the first option
is more or less than the second.
Yeah, yeah.
Look, which country is one
more Commonwealth game medals of all time?
Like over all time
and it's all the medals
collectively.
I've been trying to keep it up to date
as best as possible
with what's been happening
this games, but it might be a little bit
more like from the last game.
Who is our toughest competition
or who we should be watching?
coming into these Commonwealth games.
Okay.
Who's one more, New Zealand or Canada?
Canada.
Yes, but just.
Really?
Yeah, they've won 1,593, and we've won 1,403.
I don't think that's that much difference between us.
Especially the size of Canada compared to a little old New Zealand.
Okay, Kenya or Samoa?
The Commonwealth Games.
Kenya?
Yes.
All the running?
222 versus 217.
Oh, okay, it's still close.
Close as well.
Who is one more, Pakistan, or Singia?
Singapore.
Singapore.
No, Pakistan, 142 versus 139.
Again, very, very close on the table.
They'll be going head to head the share I imagine.
South Africa or Malaysia.
More Commonwealth gold medals all time?
South Africa.
Yes.
To where I was 281 versus 263.
Really only 281 for South Africa?
Yeah, and the final one, India or Jamaica.
This one was...
I know Jamaica's really good when the bulbs then.
I think I go India
Yeah but this is apparently
One of the closest all-time medal races in history
Apparently India is 570
And it's going, you know, however they're doing at the moment
And Jamaica's 569
So they'll be close
One to watch I think in the games
That isn't us
In Jamaica
Way to go to Jamaica
Little Islands
Really punching above their weight
Against a country the size of India
And Erica Fairweather is absolutely
Just cleaning up in her
categories for New Zealand.
Erica Fairweather, she won silver on the 400 metres freestyle last night
and it's bronze on the 200. She's having a good meet.
Yeah, how good, eh? Isn't it weird how they say that people who get a bronze medal
are happier than those were silver? Yes, because...
Statistically.
They were so close to getting gold, whereas bronze you were just happy to be on the podium.
Yeah, to come home with something.
Yeah. Strange, eh?
Yeah. It's sad, but we think like that.
All right, Meg has just surpassed and gone north of 35.
on Friday.
She is now 36 years of age.
But technically, I think we've talked about this.
I think you can still be mid-30s
from 34 to 30s.
I think 37, you could still be mid-30s.
38-thirty-nine.
You reckon it's 37 mid or late 30s?
I think 36 is mid, but I think it's because 34, 35, 36 is mid.
Then 37, 38, 39 is late.
Yeah, you're right.
Yeah, you're right there.
So Meg, she's still technically mid-30s.
But there's a new obsession that she has that is, I think,
pushing her late 30s early 40s.
Obsession.
The Clint Meg and Dan podcast.
Turn 36 on Friday.
Yep.
Yeah, we all remember.
We all remember now, yeah.
There was a moment where, as a team, we may have forgotten.
It would be a good song for a birthday.
24th.
24th.
It's a big birthday today.
Yeah.
So then we had to quickly record an appreciation song as a make-good.
No, you replayed something from 2003.
Anyway, it doesn't matter.
I expected it, truly.
Which probably says it really, I mean, that probably sounds out of it.
I wasn't upset because I was like, I don't think anyone's remembered.
Don't think anyone will.
And it was fine.
I went home and my husband organized some things.
So I really...
It's good that he didn't forget.
No, yes, he definitely did not.
He would have been in much more trouble than us.
I found myself this morning thinking I need to buy one of those things.
Oh, because when's your birthday, you do start feeling like, you know what?
I could actually buy something almost for myself as well.
I did.
If no one buys it for you.
I had a good friend of mine gave me $50 to be able to be like, get something for yourself.
And I don't think she thought this would be where the money would be spent.
But it's very cold at the moment.
As everybody in New Zealand knows, we've been feeling it in.
I don't have a garage.
I've got a carport.
And I've got a Toyota vits, like my very fancy car with my very fancy drop.
and I
felt myself thinking
the steering wheel was bloody cold
and I've looked into getting a sheepskin cover
Oh that's hot
Said no one ever
A sheepskin cover for the steering wheel
To warm it up
It makes sense
It's one of those things that you look at
And you're like oh the fuddy dutty
But I don't understand why keeping warm is fuddy
Do you know what I mean?
Like I don't see why it's just stupid
Why do I have to be cold to be hot
You can probably get a good deal on
that and like a beaded car seat cover.
So why do have people, is that like a massage thing?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Why does they go to get to them?
There's other ways to keep your hands warm in a car.
Like Clint, what do you do?
Tesla has a function.
You just turn on.
It hits the steering wheel.
Oh, okay.
And I think you knew that.
I think you did me dirty there.
Yeah.
It's the steering wheel.
Yeah.
What?
Can you, can you please, because you control the buttons,
but you have permission, please.
Can you play that Unrelate, you're Unrelatable Ben now?
It's just no idea.
You're Unrelatable.
Thanks, mate.
You and Dan both have garages that you keep your car warm.
Yeah, yeah.
And then you've got two Teslers that, like, heat up the steering wheel,
and you sit there and make fun of me because I want to get a sheepskin cover.
I just don't know if the sheepskin cover, because, yes, it will keep your hands warm.
Yes.
But also, you want a steering wheel to be grippy.
You know, when you're going around corners and stuff,
and I just don't know what the grip would be like on a sheepskin cover.
Like, you know, it's...
I don't know.
It'd feel nice sure, but it is the safety features, you know?
Well, I don't think there have been many headlining stories saying old man dies because of sheepskin cover.
Like, I've never seen anything about that.
I love how you went old man dies.
And not a young man dies because you know it's an old person thing.
God damn it.
Yeah, it's proven my point.
But I'm going to get one anyway.
Yeah.
And you are thinking about the beaded casket cover too now, aren't you?
I didn't know if that's a massage thing.
I am looking into it.
Yeah, I went to Bible this morning from a place called My Willies.
not go to NSD
did ask me if I wanted to join the newsletter
which I unticked
I was like you know what I think that's too far
I don't need a newsletter from my release
Free subscription to readers digest
Someone else text in
gloves could just do that
like driver's gloves
I would lose my gloves every single day guys
You don't know my brain
I would not know where I put them after one ride
I feel like driver's gloves are only for people
in like really sporty convertibles
And not Toyota vizzer
I can't even have that
I don't think so
Okay, look at Zara. Zara, how old are you?
I'm 21.
And what do you have in your car, my darling?
I also have a steering wheel cover.
Really?
I thought it was an old person thing.
Well, maybe Zara's Gen Z, so look at that.
They're cool.
She's got one.
What's your cover?
What does it look like?
It's like a grey, really, really sluffy one, but it's from Kama, and it's like $12.
Wait, did you say slutty?
How can you get slutty?
Fluffy!
Oh, Fluffy!
Oh, my.
Miggs's like, would you give the slitty ones?
What do you?
What do you say?
Would it be in the bedazzled?
How do I maybe steering wheel
will say slutty?
Okay, thank Sarah.
Do you want to do you know you're older than 35 when?
No.
I don't.
Meg has never wanted a steering wheel cover
until she turned 36.
So,
oh, eight under the edge.
Texas 3343.
You know you're older than 35 when what?
What else can Meg expect to look forward to?
Clint, Meg and Dan.
Meg turned 36 on Friday.
And we're asking, you know you're older than 35 when?
Because Meg suddenly has a desire to buy a sheepskin cover for her steering wheel.
I think it's more like a coincidence that I happen to turn 36 as well as it happened to go really cold over the weekend.
We'll see.
It's, yeah, I just, people are saying I can wear gloves, but I will take the gloves off.
And then I'll go, where did I put those gloves?
Within a week.
Whereas if it's on the stereo,
it's always there.
Yeah, that's the way I think about it.
Let's go to Annalise.
Annalise, you know you're bugged when what?
When you mop your bathroom ceiling
and then you're out for the whole weekend
because your shoulder's bugged.
Mopping your ceiling.
I don't know if I've ever done that.
You're amazing that you do that.
Well, I don't do it.
Obviously, you haven't done it a long time.
Yeah, and Annalise is like, and now I'm bugged.
Exactly, Elise.
You know you're a real.
older than 35 when let's see how many of these are you took off meg you get excited about buying storage
containers somebody sticks in that might be my wife yeah definitely definitely 100% yeah I can't
um you have a favorite mug I just got a new mug for my birthday it's got a hedgehog on it yeah oh my god
this is so good because I already know meg's answers yes um you check restaurant menus online before
going yeah I've done that since I was 20 so I don't think they even see I'm just organized
You have a good knee and a bad knee.
Both knees are bad.
I don't know if that's the number whammy.
Someone else says you know you're over 35 when someone books dinner reservation
and you freak out when they tell you they're booked it for 7pm.
Oh yeah, it's too like 5.30 dinner.
That's all right.
5.30 I want to be home.
Give me to be it.
What else we got coming in here?
Oh, good Kristen.
She said I'm 26 and I get excited about decent dish racks.
We're just a type of people
I still have fun
I don't know why these things mean I'm old
You have a drawer full of cables for charges
But not entirely sure what they're all for
Yes 100%
I know exactly the draw
Somebody else says you own a nice towel
That nobody else is allowed to use
Everyone uses the towel
But I do have a favourite
Do you have a favourite towel
You have a favourite towel
No
Wow you're ticking a lot of these
The only just turn 36 on Friday
This is stupid
Well
Someone else says I went through
An automatic car wash last weekend
I felt absolutely nothing
No glee
No joy
No fascination
Just the poker face
That's how I knew
You're right
I used to be so exciting
I'm being through one in years
I would still find that exciting
That I'm not there yet
Yeah I'm definitely not there yet
I love power
When was the last time you went through
We need to take an edge car
through a car wash and I want to measure Meg's excitement to see if it's still there.
Want to hear more of Clint, Meg and Dan, but completely unfiltered.
