This is a podcast from Rover.
The best date moments from Clint McGee and Dan this week.
It's the Great Estate.
Good morning, just gone seven o'clock on your Saturday.
Our favourite bits from the week coming up over the next couple of hours.
Yeah, lots of stuff happened this week.
Oh, name two of them.
We started a new marketing campaign and we played a very long fart.
I guess I did ask and she just named two things and said yes.
I don't think the fart actually made the Great Estate.
I think it did.
Number seven.
Bloody hell.
If that's made the greatest eight, a long fart,
it has.
I've just checked it.
It's number seven.
Oh, guys, we've got to do better.
We've got to do better.
We literally played someone else's really long fart one morning.
And now, I've bloody being added to that group chat,
and it is just guys farting.
We've got to pick up our game.
The amount of notifications I get, and I can't leave the group.
Come on.
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week.
It's the greatest eight.
Gooday, it's Brady and welcome back to another producer's diary.
It's been a busy but fun week on the show with Clint, Megan Dan,
and Dan started out the week asking a very important hard-hitting question.
Shoot Shag Mary, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
Oh, I would shag Monday because I think it can be exciting.
I would shoot Tuesday and, yeah, I'd marry Wednesday.
No, I'm killing Monday for sure.
Yeah, same.
I just thought of Monday coming.
That's your alcoholism.
Oh, yeah.
And Clint cocked up one of the most important parts.
of his job, selling the music on a brand new song.
Jamie Miller, she's got sort of a Miley Cyrus twang.
Hey.
Oh, hey.
You can't get away with that one in the big two sucks, mate.
Now it's time for some Clint, Meg and Dan out of context,
but it's actually just Dan and Clint.
You've got a pump and dump, I guess.
If you want a really tasty sausage this weekend,
I'll tell you where to get it.
Give it to me again.
I'm a communist then.
And on this days have been making their return
in the 6 a.m. throwback.
And another big event that happened in 2007, Tumblr launched.
It was like a photo sharing app almost before Instagram, was it?
It was kind of used for evil.
It was definitely used for the wrong things.
Dan, what did you use it for?
I've only ever used it for porn.
They were...
Tough crowd, isn't it?
It's not the show without you,
and we've had a couple of real memorable easy money runs this week.
We'll get started with our winner.
Time for your favorite game.
Easy money.
Okay, time starts at the end of Mengagga, asking you your first question.
Give me a boy's name.
Lucas
An occupation
Labourer
Something you make for dinner
Bisonia
A city
London
A drink
Lemonade
A four-letter word
Lean
Something you take to work
Lunch
A TV show
Lupin
A flower
Lily
A song title
Layla
Yes
Incredible run Michael
enjoy the Kay Brother
and we're just going to switch it up a little bit
to probably one of the worst easy money
runs I've ever heard from Kane
and this was his second attempt.
Ready Kane?
Yeah.
Okay, here we go.
Give me a brand.
Oh my gosh.
This is so hard.
I can't even think right now.
I'll be the worst ever.
It's just...
Kay.
What are you up to, bro?
Kay.
Clint Meg and Dan then gave Marketing Monday
a crowd.
where they sing jingles for your local business.
The songs for the jingles were picked randomly
and the theory was that the queries were going to start coming in.
But these get progressively worse.
We'll start with Clint who sung about a proposal business.
So if you're heterosexual or even if you're gay
and you're ready to propose but planning's not your forte.
You can outsource the work to this lady.
Dan's turn, his business was Kiwi calendars
But like a calendar
Where the theme, especially if that theme is a cartoon Kiwi
Not sure of the day of the week
Time management is really bleak
Is it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
35 bucks you will pay
And last but not least, it's Meg
She got J.W Landscaping in Dunedin
Call up Joe
J.W call him on the phone
and he does rock, rock, rock, rock and lawns moan.
Jeez.
I hope you like that joke.
Sorry, my dog took off out the window.
Off the car.
I don't.
Put it up for producers' diary this week.
Have a good weekend, you bloody legends,
and we'll catch you back on Monday.
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week.
It's the greatest state.
I have been forwarded of art.
For 32 seconds worth, apparently.
So we asked if you want to.
to hear it if we've got a hundred texts.
Well over 100. Let's go to the phones.
Millie, yes or not?
Yeah, definitely. Do it.
I can't wait to hear it.
We're asking people if we play it on the radio.
Chris?
Yeah, I say let it rip.
Let it wrap.
Well, if the unofficial world record is 40 seconds, Meg, you said this is what?
32.
About 30 seconds.
It's seeing someone get close to being the world's best.
Pip.
Oh, definitely.
A fart is always funny.
Brilliant. Okay, so we're going to do.
I agree. I agree. When you hear a good one,
you have a bit of a giggle, don't you?
And the thing about hearing it on the radio is you're getting all the fun
without any of the consequence.
Now, the funny thing is I said, if we get 100 texts, we'll play it.
We've had well over 100, and no one, not one person said don't play it.
So guess what?
Sorry, Jack, our boss.
Clint, if you could bring down the music in the background, here we go.
So this is a part that Meg's been forded by a friend of ours.
And...
It's a real legit.
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week.
It's the greatest eight.
We were talking to our Love Jenny earlier and we got talking about the craziest message
of ever received on a dating app because some people are pretty ballsy with what they might
say when it's not face to face.
Or it might be like crazy as in like super lovely.
Now Meg someone's text through a message that they received.
I'm assuming it's a girl.
Okay.
I want you to tell me what you would have.
said to this message.
Here we go.
First message.
Ping.
Ping.
Yep.
I've got 10 inches for you.
A C block.
Who's that too?
That's honestly, that's unfair.
I don't want 10 inches, even if that was real.
That's, I'm dead.
That's almost a foot long subway.
What about this one?
You've got great picks.
Are you actually that size now?
Or are these old photos?
What's that for?
Oh my.
Like, why?
You guys are going to eat up alone.
You know, it's like a lonely, sad.
And then you go, oh, girls, the girls.
Girls don't like nice guys.
You definitely cannot read that top text.
Which one?
Absolutely not.
Yeah, okay, good.
And I wouldn't, you know what?
I wouldn't even laugh at that one.
No, it's like, again, that, I know we can't read it,
but that's exactly what I mean when I'm like, who's that for?
It feels like they're trying to do gags for people.
That's not working.
Let's go to Paul.
Morning, Paul.
Morning, Paul.
Morning, Paul.
Morning, Paul.
Morning, guys, how's going?
Good.
Now, this is a girl that messaged you this.
Multiple, actually.
Oh.
Oh.
A few years ago, I was a solo dad, and I was on the apps,
and I had.
had solo dad in my bio and multiple women
messaged me asking if I needed a new mum for my kid.
And how did that go down with you? Was that something that worked or you were like,
no, don't bring my kid into this so quickly?
Without a doubt, it was creepy every time.
Yeah, yeah. Were they saying it like, do you need, does your kids need
a new mommy like that? Or is it like? Exactly, exactly like that,
Dan. That was a female voice, obviously.
I had that happen one time to my husband in real life where he was pushing
my daughter at a market by himself
and a woman walked up and sent his mum in the picture
and he said yes and she goes
that's a shame
it's a shame means alive
the kid
What the hell
okay
it's good news Susie
Hi Susie you tried Tinder once
What did you get
I got a message
Just saying I used to know you
Will you come out with me
And in the next text was
Will you have
Right
I don't know
Etsy X with me
I guess he's laying it on the table.
That's one and done.
It doesn't dust it with the app, say a mansion.
Yeah, not doing it anymore.
Yeah, no.
Someone who realized that it wasn't really going the way that they had hoped,
I guess as a last ditch effort to get a date.
It says, asked if my mate that I'm in a photo with,
if they were single and on the app and could you put in a good word?
So he'd be like, hey, who's that chick in the photo with you, Meg?
What's her name?
Could you put in a good word with her for me?
That's why you don't have multiple people in your photos.
Yeah.
Especially enough, you've got a hot of things.
Damn.
I'm going, sometimes you, I think sometimes I'm like, oh, got it I missed out on that whole experience
because I was already, like, married up long before the apps were a big thing.
Whereas sometimes when you hear these stories, like, maybe it's just as well.
There's some of these texts, like the one that Bexas just texts through, I really want to read it out.
You can read that one, can't you?
He says, he actually got a message from a guy, and he goes, I may not go down in history.
but I will go
Yeah
Yeah
People go down somewhere
Alright it's the edge
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week
It's the greatest date
We want to talk the worst time breakups after James
Said to us that his partner of six years
Broke up with him and he left him two weeks after he won
$850,000 playing lotto
Now I don't think we can get her on the phone
But there are a lot of questions with this text
I broke up over a tampon
Yeah, why did you break up over a tampon?
So I was living at his house with his sister and his parents,
and I, this is when I used to get really, really, really terrible periods.
And I was ill prepared, but I couldn't leave a house because I was in such pain.
Yeah, of course.
So I went up to the communal bathroom.
Yeah.
Let's just make sure that's not known.
And I borrowed a tampo.
Well, I didn't borrow it because I wasn't going to give a back.
That's not our tampons work.
So your sister or his mum's tampon.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then later they found the rubbish in the bin, and then they accused me of stealing.
Sanity!
What are you talking about?
Really, did they?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, no joke.
No joke.
Like, it keeps me a ceiling.
So then I went to work that night.
I was looking at Mac.
It's so embarrassing.
And then I was just, like, bawling, because my partner at the time was,
just abusing me over text.
And so then I called my mum that night, and she came and packed me up, and I moved out
that night.
Wow.
That's like someone getting angry over, like, toilet paper, essentially.
Yeah, that's the same thing.
It's like a necessity.
Yeah.
Maddie.
My ex-boyfriend actually went on that exchange trip, and broke up with me then second
he was there.
Better offer.
How long was the trip supposed to be?
Six months.
Oh, so you're sitting there and you're committed.
You're like, I'm ready to support.
you long distance, it's only six months.
Did he say why he broke up with you there?
Did he meet his sister, host?
No, he said that I cried too much because I missed him.
Oh, yuck.
Oh, me, that's not yuck.
She just missed him.
No.
No, well, Maddie, it sounds like you're better off, really, doesn't it?
Didn't waste six months of your time.
At least he didn't do it when you came back the day after.
You waited half a year from then he'd do it.
Yeah, that's true.
I guess he glass half full there, Maddie.
All right.
worst time breakups what was the poor timing in your situation?
Hi, so it was Valentine's Day.
That'll do it.
And to top it off, we also had a nine-month-old baby.
Much worse.
Yeah.
Much worse than the whole Valentine's Day.
So it's your first Valentine's Day with a baby.
Oh, I mean, this was many years ago.
Yeah, my daughter is now 17.
Yeah, yeah.
But, yeah.
Um, yeah, it was, it was pretty, pretty horrible.
But, um...
Why wait till that day?
Why do we wait till that day, not the day after the day before?
It's so weird.
Oh, I don't know.
You tell me.
Yeah.
And you'd do it the day before, wouldn't you?
Just do it the day before.
You wouldn't do it.
You wouldn't do Valentine's Day and showaroo with gifts and then the next day do it.
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week.
It's the greatest state.
Hey.
First of all, I'd like to find.
everybody in New Zealand for voting for the Scotch finger.
And I just say that for first off.
It's a great deal to our family.
As you know, it was my great grandmother's recipe.
We called her Two Fingers Margaret.
Yeah.
Have you?
No, wait, Clint, I've got more.
And she'd be looking down on us right now.
I think she'd be feeling pretty chuffed
about the whole situation.
Rough, that was rough.
How did your grandmother come up with the recipe,
Willie McMaster?
Just use my first name.
Of Willie.
Willie.
Yeah, the story goes that she originally made one finger version,
but then people are like, it's just not enough, Margaret.
She made the two-finger version.
So she started doing two fingers.
Yeah, yeah.
She preferred that.
But then some people, you know,
they still said it wasn't enough.
You know. I heard last week, Meg, you did six fingers.
Yeah, you did eat three of them, didn't you?
We got anna stripped off a box full of them.
I didn't need any of them, thank you, Clinton.
Must be one of the boys.
Yeah.
Hey, that's a really distinctive accent you've got, Willie.
What part of Scotland do you from, mate?
Is it?
Right.
Well, it's a great question, Clinton.
I'm from a town called Erindale.
Oh, I think it's from...
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
Someone.
Yeah, from there.
Elsa.
lot? Oh yes, they, they, no laugh. Yeah. So yeah, know them well. But anyway, that's enough for me.
I don't remember them having accents in the movie, but have you carried on the family business,
Willie? No, because after we sold the recipe to Arnitz in the 1980s, I trained to become a
groundskeeper. Oh, did you? So now, now I live, I work at a school and all the kids call me
groundskeeper, Willie. I think Bart goes to your school, doesn't it?
Hey Meg, you're going off script, baby, all right?
Okay.
Hey, well, just a big congratulations again,
Willie McBiscuit on the Scotch finger,
taking out New Zealand's greatest biscuit,
if anyone's tuned in halfway through this,
wondering what the hell's going on.
We're not sure either.
Short of Brax will your team.
Okay, bye.
The best eight moments from Clint Meg and Dan this week,
it's the greatest state.
Meg brought something to my attention.
I didn't know what I was doing,
because it wasn't doing it.
It's reading the text on clothing when I purchase it.
I like it for the country.
color or how it looks, but I typically don't read what it says.
I'm going to go to the phones.
Did you ever buy a t-shirt or buy something you realized you didn't know what it said on it until
afterwards?
Anna, your mother-in-law bought your daughter a dress.
Yeah, she'd been in India and came back with gifts.
It was a cute little pink and white dress with yellow flowers on it, and it said adios,
the chart shows.
How old was your daughter?
She was three at the time.
And I think her to daycare in it as well.
Adios Picharchos.
When did you find out it said Adios Pachachachos?
Oh, well, once we put it on her, and then that's when I noticed it.
And like, to mum's mother-in-law, she never figured it out.
Did you say she'd been to Mexico or India as well?
It was in India.
And it said Adiospacchos.
That's so funny.
That's so funny.
I love that.
Okay, that's good Lisa.
Have you been a victim, Lisa, of not reading your clothing before you've purchased it and worn it?
Absolutely.
I had a sweater.
It said, so it was O-H.
Yeah.
So it says, oh-so-ho in Y.
I read it as O-So-Ho New York until my mom pointed out.
Yeah.
So it actually says, oh, so horny.
Brilliant.
Right.
I've never, I've never wore it again.
Because So-ho, New York is a beautiful place.
and so you're like, oh, Soho New York.
I've been there, but it was actually, oh, so hoony.
I mean, so horny.
Oh, so horny.
How long were you wearing it before that?
Brought to your attention.
For age you?
Probably, like, the whole winter, because it was a fit.
My mom came around and she says, oh no.
No, no, no.
Not one.
Did you get any guys or girls coming up to you, Lisa, going like, hey, baby.
Luckily not.
No, no, yeah.
You're good.
Okay.
And Justin, what about you?
I don't think you are a victim per se, yeah?
I'm a self-inflicted victim of 45, so I'll go into the shop and look at the
t-shirt and go, damn, that's a nice-looking t-shirt and read it.
Yeah.
But to ask me the next morning what the hell was said on it, I wouldn't have a clue.
Oh, you forget.
Very quickly, don't age.
Have you been stung by the FBI female body inspector one?
I'll see people wearing a dog.
Fortunately, no, not yet, but I do wonder how many notes the tails you guys just caused
because the stick in you messes that I had to look down and go, what old t-shirt am I wearing right now?
True.
True, the amount of people I wonder, you're right, Justin,
who are right now looking at their shirt and going,
I had no idea and said that.
By the way, who's rocking the female body inspector T-shirt in 2026, hey?
I don't think anybody is.
Nowhere near as bad as my nana gave me a badge to pin on my top as a kid
that said, Willie Winky likes to share it as a picture of a winky penis.
Oh, my God.
The best eight moments from Clint McGinn' Dan this week.
It's the greatest eight.
So we were given a random business.
Then we were given a random song to come up with a jingle.
Zanthi. Zanthi, just recap
for everybody your business.
I have a proposal planning company.
So I was given
the random song
of the Friends theme
to try and come up with a jingle for you, all right?
So if you're

you're gay

Watch the query's flooded
I know I'm so excited
That was amazing
Paige, good morning.
Now, sadly, you got me for this.
Okay, and could you just recap for everyone your business in a nutshell page?
So I'm Illustrated artist and I did the Kiwi calendar.
And Dan randomly drew Mabo No. 5 as the theme to his jingle for you, Paige.
This is, and I'm sorry, Paige, the most pathetic thing I've ever done.
All right, well, let me hear it for the first time, please.
Okay, here it is.
Stop looking.
People are looking at me.
Oh.
All right.
You got it.
Come on, Dan.
One, two, three, four, five.
Planning the week makes me feel alive.
I like a calendar with a theme,
especially if that theme is a cartoon Kiwi.
Not sure of the day of the week.
Time management is really bleak.
Is it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday?
35 bucks you will pay.
Pour a little bit of Kiwi on the wall each station.
A little bit of a bit of two long.
12 months of colour.
12 months of fun,
handpaked of Kiwi for everyone.
That's done really well.
I don't know what's wrong with it.
You don't know what's shit.
Thanks, Paige.
You guys have not earned mine once.
Okay, Joe, just refresh our memories,
your business and what you do for a crust.
After this, I'll probably have to have to do a new business.
Sorry, let me, Joe!
Yes!
I'll do small contracting.
fencing in lawns and hedges.
And Meg, after you chose a random number,
ended up drawing.
Yeah, freestyle.
Here we go.
Bonfunk MC as the theme song.
Okay, one, two, and a two.
And a one, two.
GW.
Call him on the phone, Joe, Joe.
Mate, go and get your lawn moan.
Go, go dial up.
For your grass dirt and stone.
Call up Joe, he's the land styleer.
Omo's lawns and more lawn.
You know you can rely on.
More your patio, strong is a bus because he's friendly and sewn on.
But that's not also, hold on.
He moves wrong this race for your garden.
We're good charities.
There's no felonies.
Well, I think so.
Lawn session.
Spruce up and or freshen.
Suggestion.
Show him your section or your small bit of lawn.
What you dwell upon.
Mate, just go on.
Do it.
Call up Joe.
J.E.
W.
Call him on the phone.
He does rock.
Rock, rock, rock and lawns moan.
Jay.
He's called him on the foot.
Oh my God.
Someone's texted her, I think they've summed it up quite well.
Meg, that was dire.
Jay.
Joe's laughing.
I hope you like that, Joe.
Hey.
Sorry, my dog took off out the window.
Off the car.
I don't blame it.
Don't get your dog, Joe.
You do what you're going to do, buddy.
