Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a podcast from Rover. Come for the chat, stay for the trauma bonding. This is Clint McGinn-Dand-Dan's OnlyFans. Podcast, that is. Welcome to The Only Fans with Clint-Dane and Ash London. Appreciate your time and your air holes. How's your aura ring going ash? She's been talking about it this morning.
Starting point is 00:00:18 Should I log into the app and see how my sleep was last night? Yeah, so if you don't know what an aura ring is, you wear it on your feet. Can you wear it on any finger or it has to be a... You're supposed to wear it on your index or your middle. They're the two bests. And it measures all your vital signs. Yeah, so my sleep score last night was 77, which is just good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:00:33 And you want to be, like, excellent. I slept for 6,004 minutes. I spent a total of 6,044 minutes in bed. How does it know when you're sleeping? I guess your heart rate and stuff. Yeah, with nose exactly. Wow. And then it shows you like when you, like white is deep sleep.
Starting point is 00:00:49 And white is awake. So I've gone up at like 3.30 a.m. for an hour there with buddy. How legit is it? Like, you know when we all got mood rings and you're like, oh, it's purple. You must be horny. Well, this isn't a mood ring. It's something. I know, but I'm like, how everything has like a margin of error.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Yeah, I imagine so. So what do they say, you know, take everything with a grain of salt or it's 90% effective? I think it's pretty accurate. It even gives my oxygen saturation. Oh, yeah, that's a good one. But what I mean is like you wouldn't want to read into the data too much if you knew that it had like a 15% margin of error for most people. You know? Or a ring.
Starting point is 00:01:25 What do I say? Or a brain. Marginavira or like true effectiveness I think they're quite effective but not an aura ring but I know of a story of someone that was wearing a Apple Watch
Starting point is 00:01:37 Reliability maybe Yeah and it measures vital signs And it told them that they were having a heart attack Like it measured their heart rate And they knew they were having a heart attack Before their body told them Well the opposite happened to my mum It told her that her heart rate
Starting point is 00:01:50 was much lower than it was So she went to the cardiologist And he was like that's not a true reading Heart rate, it's 99.9.9% reliable. Wow. Your variable heart rate 98%. Your sleep and awake detection is 94% sensitive. Total sleep 96%.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Yeah, have you good. Body temperature is over 99%. Did you have to get permission to make the purchase from your husband? Or does he not know? No, I just bought it. Should we give him a call and see if he was a different? No, he knows. He knows he got it.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Does you know how much they are? Because I had no idea. Well, he knows because I left the box out and he saw it and then he said out loud how much it was. And in my head, I was like, I was supposed to be $150 less than that. And then I realized that I had priced this brushed silver version or the black version, which are cheaper. And then I got the matte black, which I assumed was the same price. But I didn't, because I'd been looking at them for months and months and months. I didn't bother to go, how much is that?
Starting point is 00:02:44 I thought it was. Yeah, but she's been looking for a while. I remember weeks ago, you were going, oh, I want that. When it comes down to jury, it's probably on the cheaper end of the scale, considering, you know, you've been thousands of dollars on rings that don't do anything. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And I just feel like I, this is all about my stress levels and I need to get them down because I feel like I'm always just a bit stressed. So it's going to help with my sleep, encourage me to walk a bit more. And I love data and I'm very competitive. So it really kind of measures your sleep levels,
Starting point is 00:03:13 your stress levels across all these different things in like numbers. So if I can then be like, I'm going to beat that number. I know myself that will help me get to the gym, walk, meditate sleep. I'd love to see like an average week stress level versus like when you're on holiday over Christmas
Starting point is 00:03:28 Whether it's like drastically lower Or maybe it's like around Christmas time with family And that can also be stressful Not for you, ditch miss You'll be 100% everything in Fiji Oh that'll probably say Sensing too much alcohol in the blood You are dying
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's funny actually we'll talk about like things that will benefit your life And things that obviously won't And I saw this article and I was like I mean, I don't know how legitimate was, but it sent to Ash, and it records, the number one killer is an alcohol and it isn't drugs and isn't all these other things you can do. It's literally stress will be the thing that takes years off your life faster than anything else because you're in a stressful state
Starting point is 00:04:05 and whatever that does to your body. Your body can't rest and digest. If you're in fight or flight, if you've got high cortisol, you're on guard, which is how I think a lot of mothers especially are very much on high alert all the time, your body isn't resting and digesting. So all the things your body needs to do when you're coming. when you're sleeping to, like, help your body clear out all the bad stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:27 It's not doing any of that. And it's a big stress on your heart. I read a study the other day that said that people with ADHD have a shorter life expectancy because of the stress levels that you get when you have ADHD. So it's an incentive to get that under control as well and learn to live with it. Because I guess for me, if I have stress, it's because I know I need to do A, B, C, and D. So then I just go, right, I'm going to spend this afternoon. I tick that off, tick that off.
Starting point is 00:04:50 I've got A, B, C, D, I've done, I've emailed that. then I've got, oh, while I'm at it, there's that other job I'm being meant to do, create a list, send it all out. I'm like, good, I'm up to date. No, I'll sit on the couch and just stress about all those things. Producer car is looking at me like I'm an alien. The ADHD. I just cannot even compute how, like, your brain would do that.
Starting point is 00:05:08 I know. I've got just constantly like a massive list of things that I just haven't done and then I procrastinate because I look at it and go, shit, that's too much. But you're so good at your job. No, not really. I think I could be better. You are. There's lovely, thank you.
Starting point is 00:05:20 There's a lot of producers over the years and a lot of much bigger producing teams and you manage to get a lot done within very specific time frame so you must be working your ass off to fight against the ADHD. Sometimes ADHD does help you in some respects because you can focus really well
Starting point is 00:05:35 because of the Ritalin. But you laser focus, especially with Ritalin. Yeah, if you're interested in it. Yeah, yeah, when the Ritalin hits and when you're feeling inspired, holy shit, it's unreal what you can get done. Or if you're interested, like someone in my family is a teenager, the subjects at school
Starting point is 00:05:51 that he's interested in, A plus A, plus A plus. The subject's he doesn't like the teacher or he's not interested in failing out. That was me as well, probably Dan, yeah. I was top drama, lowest in maths. Like full, like I was in with like people that don't have a brain. You know, like that had lobotomies and I was sitting next to him
Starting point is 00:06:08 and I still was dumber. You know, like really fucking thickos. Anyway, there was a kid that used to sit next to me and he'd go, in your maths class? Yeah, my maths class. And I'll be like, how am I? How am I in the same glass as this guy? Like that.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Every few seconds. It makes me love. We were good mates though. He was a good man. But I couldn't keep quiet. Can you imagine like, I just love Adrian so much. Imagine you're at work every morning and then your partner comes in and you just want to go and give him a cuddle but I can't because I have to work.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Some people would hate that though. Really? Yeah, like I'd like it but there'd be people around and be like, oh, fuck you know. I've pretty much always, since I married Adrian, bar like two years, even since I, sorry, I should say since I'm dating Adrian, we've always worked together. So I always get to hang out with. him at work it's so fun yeah yeah i don't know if i i don't know if i could because you i like i like missing hannah you know i'm being able to be like oh i look i can't wait to see
Starting point is 00:07:03 her this afternoon how would you go here with her boss because she'll hear that different yeah no she why i want to i want to be away from you and go on the boys weekend so then i can miss you more when i'm when i'm away adrian's going on a boys weekend to queenstown to play golf for four days but I realize that because I do breakfast now I now need to have someone to move into the house somebody's not alone my wife went to a man a real man
Starting point is 00:07:26 wife went to Greece on like a girl's trip and yeah mum and dad had to like move in with me so they could like take the kids to school in the morning because I'm out of the house like 5 am you know we have a friend this is the smile to me of the Queenstown thing he said to Hannah this was a few months ago
Starting point is 00:07:41 he said that he has been invited to Queenstown on a motorbike trip with the lads and he said that if it ends his marriage he would do it and apparently they're on the verge of breaking up now he's going on it to try and end his marriage or he's like I'm going anyway if it ends my marriage I don't it's my marriage I'll go
Starting point is 00:08:00 it's that important yeah and so Hannah was talking to me the other day about it and apparently they're like on the rocks obviously and yeah and it's because he's got one of the reasons was he's going right on this trip well you're already on the rocks if your husband's at the point where he's saying that I know I mean part of me goes, depends. It feels like a real good husband and then this is just something. He goes, I've always
Starting point is 00:08:20 wanted to do this. It's a bucket list thing. I need to do this. Then you would like to think there's compromise in a relationship where she'd be like, okay, this is super important to you. But it feels more just like I want to do this and I don't really care. Yeah, a bit opportunistic. If you don't like it. It does sound cool though, eh? A trip down on
Starting point is 00:08:36 motorbikes around the South Island. How long for? I think it was for like three weeks. It was a long time away. Three week trip. You've sore ass. To exchange your marriage for. But Adrian didn't even want to go on the trip But I was like, can't, don't be a pussy
Starting point is 00:08:49 Just go on forever once in your eyes He's going off he does that guy thing He's like, oh, I hate, I don't really want to go But I can't have to When you find out all the boys I like catch up for a drink and you're like Oh, what's going on? Oh, Dan just messaged me, what are you up to, babe?
Starting point is 00:09:01 And she's like, I'm just doing, whatever And then she was like, why, what's Dan one? I'm like, oh, he's catching up with the boys for a beer Oh no, I'm trying to lay off like the booze for a little bit But then, I know, Dan's going through some stuff at the moment I probably would be good to catch up with him just to kind of see if he's okay.
Starting point is 00:09:17 And Jay's like, yeah, well, I mean, if you think it'd be good for, like, Dan and, like, you know, then maybe you should. And I'm like, oh, do we have timeline? This is what we do. And then she's like, babe, honestly, you need to go. And then next one, she's forcing me to go drink with Dan. Yeah, my go to is, oh, I'd rather be snuggled up in bed with you. Oh, my God. No, it's getting longer and older.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, we can do that on Saturday. I'd be like, but I want to do it now. No, I don't know. crack up reels on Insta and TikTok and that with guys literally on the phone and they go oh man I don't maybe I should just go for a couple though but I don't really want to
Starting point is 00:09:54 and it's hilarious because us lads are going been there been there yeah and I had to book the flights for Adrian because he's just being annoying and it's our mate 40th I can't go he got you to book the flights
Starting point is 00:10:06 so he's the ex-me he's like the he's good he played you like a fiddle he's the sense oh my goodness me I'm going to ask him how he did it I'll tell you this right now he is looking forward to that weekend like nothing else in his life
Starting point is 00:10:20 Ash's booked flights and still thinks he doesn't want to go so he's just He's like Beethoven You're his violin You know you're just absolutely He even said his body will be too sore playing all that golf Oh my gosh I'm looking at him now
Starting point is 00:10:36 I bet he's googling stuff to do right now He has genuinely fucking played you He's fucking Voldemore and you're Ron Weasley. He's that one-man band, you know, where he's got a drum on his back. Harmonica around his neck. He's got an accordion.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Oh, man. Petitian he's got a sore next to. Oh, I really hope we haven't just fucked his golf trip. No, he's already booked it. I know. I want him to go. I love him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Okay. Well, we got to go because we got an interview with one of the spy skills, true story, in about four and a half minutes. Yeah. Love you guys. Look forward to bringing that to the, Show for your enjoyment. I've never interviewed a Spice girl.
Starting point is 00:11:17 I've interviewed Mel before in person. She's a legend. See? Sporty Spice, say what? Yeah, cool. I actually think Sporty Spice is the cool one. Me too. She's the proper singer of the group.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Yeah. I reckon it goes. I'm going to rank them. What, in terms of your faves? Yeah. I would go... No, I'd go posh first. She's the coolest.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Yeah, I'd go posh. She's the coolest. Then I'd maybe go Jerry second. Jerry Hall. Really? I'd go scary. I feel like she's bit out. He's spoken, just says what she wants.
Starting point is 00:11:45 He's fucking doing. But Jerry's married to Christian Horner, Formula 1, team boss. Yeah, for now. And then I'd go, then I'd go sporty, third. Yeah, I got her... Spotties my favourite. He's the most talented.
Starting point is 00:11:55 I got her three, then probably Jerry than Baby. Although Baby used to be a radio announcer. She still is on heart. Is she? Yeah, in the UK. Okay, well, maybe we've got more in common with Baby Spice than we realize. Taylor Swift had on recently to their show and was like, I just can't believe that I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I love you. You're my favourite Spice Girl. I had your car. And then Emma's like, I stop it. You do a good Taylor, actually. I reckon Melsie's a genius because like when all the rest of them are wearing those real uncomfortable
Starting point is 00:12:18 like shoes and skirts and pants and all she's just rocking around and trackies Legend Good on her fucking Teraways are back too Yeah We should talk to that about her She was a fashion forward
Starting point is 00:12:28 Yeah Because now girls are hitting the clubs and the sneakers And Mousy has a really distinctive voice As soon as you hear it She's one of those artists That when you hear her voice You go oh that's Malsie from the Spice Girls She's got like a real kind of
Starting point is 00:12:38 Husky nature to her And she had one of my like bucketless jobs Although I'll never get it because... Or being a spice girl. No, she's a judge on the voice. You just sit in a chair with your mates and then when you hear a voice
Starting point is 00:12:50 you're like, just hit a button and it turns around all cool. You literally sit in a chair with your mates every single day as a job. Yeah, but my chair doesn't turn by itself mechanically. Oh, sorry. Should we get one of those hooked up? He just sits...
Starting point is 00:13:01 That is such a great point, Carl. Your whole job is to sit there in a chair. In fact, you do less than what they do. Literally, it's like, oh, and they get to hit a big button. You've got like 200 buttons in front of you, bro. Oh. I'm spoiled for choice actually That's actually one of my questions to Malsy is about the chair
Starting point is 00:13:18 I want to know all about it Like is it heated What does it sound like when they move You know that's a cool Cool thing to do Yeah just what a fun job Because also you hear they get paid millions And they're literally just listen
Starting point is 00:13:30 They're doing what we're doing They're watching the show Getting paid millions as you do Sinton around Oh shit like Were you just looking at a new Tesla bro Yeah you're like look Yeah
Starting point is 00:13:40 I bet a guy so we could get prepared Yeah, we've got less than two minutes now if the mail is on time. See you, team. Bye. Rover, music, radio, podcasts.
