Episode Date: August 27, 2026

Clint, Meg and Dan dive into the topics that weren't quite fit for air today... What starts as a casual chat about global retirement ages and recent celebrity deaths quickly spirals into a dark debate... on how they want to go out, David Bowie's post-mortem album drops, and why Dan believes he’s guaranteed entry into heaven. Plus, the crew reads out some of the most unhinged, explicit, and aggressive listener texts Meg received during the live show, including an unforgettable 8-inch anatomical insult. Finally, they draft a group celebrity hit list: if you fight a famous person and win, you get all their net worth.

Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a podcast from Rover. This is the Overthinkers podcast. Yodah, welcome, Clint McGee, and Dan. We've just finished our radio show. So time to give you something that wasn't quite good enough to make the show. Well, no, this is interesting. No, I've just found it won't sustain for the whole thing. But it's interesting, all these people passing away at the age of 80 recently.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Tim Curry today, the news came through, Dolly Parton yesterday. And I was just interested to know the average age that people are retiring. now worldwide. And it's quite shocking. 71 is the average age of retirement. Wow. In the world now. Which, like, I know Dolly Part was still working, like, a lot.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Nine to five, wasn't she? Nine to five. Yeah, leading up to her death. No, but she did a post. I think. Oh, for God's sake. Clan, honestly. It's pretty funny, though.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Do you get a bullet? No. Come on. Oh, I'll give him one. Thank you. No, but she did a post 11 days before her death saying she wouldn't be able to make it to an event
Starting point is 00:01:05 which she was supposed to be attending. But she said, quote, I'm working still a lot at the moment to, you know, with her charity stuff. I've been really fast cancer, you know? Real quick. Do we know it was a cancer?
Starting point is 00:01:18 Yeah, it was confirmed cancer. Yeah, I mean, which is... They said a very, like, fast sort of... Which is worse? Long drawn out or fast. Yeah. Like if you... Fast, obviously.
Starting point is 00:01:28 What? No, because then if I've got... four years. I saw it time to do some stuff but I guess it's the, it's always in the back of your mind all the time because when you find out then you're gone. I guess so, yeah. It's tricky. It's how long you have.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Because some people live with it. There's a lot of people that, I know Di Hedinwood's dealing with it at the moment, isn't he? And he's like from the outside looking in, if you didn't know that he had cancer, you wouldn't know that he had cancer because he's so funny and he's, you know, in the media so often. It's just, I guess the longer you have it,
Starting point is 00:02:00 I wanted to define you to be the last thing that everyone remembers and whatever but then also you know those people that just find out my uncle was like that
Starting point is 00:02:06 he found out within like two weeks he was gone I want to do it like David Bowie so he had cancer for a while and told no one
Starting point is 00:02:15 publicly and then he organised he recorded an album everything all this stuff and then when he died you would record an album when you find out
Starting point is 00:02:23 you're dying hey you would record an album no but I'm just saying this is how he did it well that's what you just said I wouldn't know what would you do
Starting point is 00:02:29 What would your album be? What album would you write? A musical theatre sort of thing? Probably if it was going to be something, I'd probably release like... Oh my God, take it with you in the coffin. Clint, I'd want to hear it then, your album. Yeah, it's like a... Anyway, David Bowie, he released his album, Black Star, the day after he died.
Starting point is 00:02:47 So he died. So you're releasing your album the day after you die? I think it'd be a dark out. Actually, you know what? It wouldn't be a musical theatre album. It would be quite a dark, depressing thing. Really? Because I want people to cry.
Starting point is 00:02:56 You want people to cry. I want people to cry. You know how people say, I want my funeral to be happy time. Fuck that. I want to fucking look down and see everyone fucking crying. Why are you saying look down?
Starting point is 00:03:06 Because he went to hell. No, no, he's assuming he's in heaven. He's looking down. I'm saying he should be looking up. Oh, I don't matter. I thought he said he wanted everyone looking down. You mean when he's looking down? To be honest.
Starting point is 00:03:16 He said when I'm looking down to everyone. Oh, so did you get to know the Lord, your Savior Jesus Christ before you don't remember that? I would be very surprised if he doesn't let me in. If there is heaven, I go up there and go, all right, I'll just head through here. And he goes, whoa, whoa, woo, whoa, whoa. Whoa, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And I go, whoa, what are yours is there, Clint Randall's friend? What are the reasons? Give me the top three reasons you would give to God of letting you in through the gates. True, because you go, wait, hold on, mate. I've seen you do some terrible stuff. Hello, Daniel Webby. Now you're going down to hell and you go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And he goes, I go, give me three reasons.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Here we go, number one. I have raised a beautiful son. And you know what? I've raised him well. You can't say to me, God, that I told him any bad stuff. I always raised him to be a good man and a good citizen to make the future brighter for others. That's also, the thing is your point system, well, actually more than 50%, about 80% it works out to be goes to your wife for raising that son. But you should hear some of the shit she says behind the scenes. You know, don't, don't, don't, you just, just, just, you sound like you think that she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:04:22 She's not. She's filthy. Okay, so brings his wife down. Let me write that down. brings the mother of his child down Well, don't know, hold on, I don't know, I don't know it's on the record, God. Come on, you should have... You're putting things on the record with God.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Thank you, God. Thank you, Angel. You need to say that this call may be recorded for training purposes gone. On Biggs mother down. Okay, next, that was one. Okay. Two. I think I had a troubled upbringing. Who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.
Starting point is 00:04:47 And, you know, you can't... You grew up on a farm. Yeah, exactly. No, next to a railway line. That was on the right. Thank you, sorry. You can't lie in heaven, mate. And so it set me up.
Starting point is 00:04:56 for a bit of a rough adulthood because I was raised on the wrong side of the tracks. So you think your mum was a shit mum too, right? No, no, she was a great, she did the best for what she could. She was an incredible mother. No, but we're trying to work out what you did good in life.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Right. Not that you had a rough hand out. So I'll give you one more. Charity, charity. I've done a lot of charity. Sorry, can I just go over to my angel here? Can you please bring up the records of, this is my angel. Can you bring out the records of all of Dan's charity that he's done in his life?
Starting point is 00:05:24 Okay. Why do you have the records? Hold on Because we're gone. Shit, did we lose all of the stuff in this folder? Or was there always nothing in this folder? Here's the thing, Angel. Sometimes charity doesn't mean giving money. It's about the time you put in.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I'm not going to go into... Thank you, Angel. If you could please bring up all the times that Dan has not given money, but given his time to other people. Oh, fuck it, I'm going down to help. There is many hours that Dan has talked about doing it. Spreading awareness.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Making people smile as a charity. Thank you, thank you, Carl. He said that in my ear. Thank you, Carl. That is his opinion. Unless Carl dies before you, bro. He's not going to be up there to help you in. When you go up, Carl, can you just put it in a good word for me?
Starting point is 00:06:07 Just before Dan comes up, I know he's going to die soon. Just letting you know he's a fucking great guy. He's got a lot of charities. There's no way. What are me? Carl's going up there. Carl is down. We're all down. Why?
Starting point is 00:06:19 Fuck you, bro. Why am I going down? We're all down. Now you're going, there's no swearing in heaven, I don't think, guys. I think it's just I'm pretty pissed off about it. I've just found out that I'm going to hell. I think it's like, fuck this. Hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:06:30 I want to go to hell if we're all going. It sounds like a bit of fun. Yeah, that sounds cool. Yeah. The only thing is, while we're having a laugh, something else is happening to us, isn't it? Yeah, we're getting tortured. What?
Starting point is 00:06:38 No. Hey, what's the directions? Let's go. Yeah, Carl's in, whatever that was. I've just heard that it's your worst nightmare down there, isn't it? Like, you... Not your worst nightmare? Is it a call to Bielzeab?
Starting point is 00:06:51 I think it is. And it's like the thing that you all you... Oh, the be hells above. Yeah, so when you go down to hell, your worst nightmare is what happens to you down there. What is your worst nightmare? Having sex with a woman? What a stupid bird.
Starting point is 00:07:06 You'll go to hell because of that gag. I think it would be just like just burning alive or something. That's my worst nightmare. And so that's just what happens to you constantly down in hell. Mine is being poor. Okay, well, off you go. So I just can't afford anything. Jesus, Clint, this is man.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Poor and ugly probably He goes down and looks in the room He's like Jesus Christ Look at me At least I've got money And then he opens out his pockets Nothing Yeah
Starting point is 00:07:31 And everyone's just got all the bow tops Going not for you Not for you Yeah yeah Poor ugly Shitty Anyway What about you make
Starting point is 00:07:38 What's your greatest fear If you go to hell What's going to happen to you All the time Watching my kids die Over and over In different ways Like final destination
Starting point is 00:07:46 But the only two actresses Are your children Yeah That would be my worst nightmare But you'd know If you're at hell It's not real because they're just showing you a real of like things.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Okay, then you're burning alive isn't real. I know, but you're still feeling the pain. Exactly. Oh, God, that's poor. Jesus, this has been a shocker. Play that thing. Get us out. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Oh, I think I had something. I got something while you look for that, Meg. But you're actually going to have to look for my thing as well. Meg, do you want to know, get a little insight, a little peek behind the curtain to the text sometimes that we're receive from listeners during a live radio show. A lot of the time, super supportive, contributes to the show. Sometimes
Starting point is 00:08:27 it's very scathing and can be quite mean to us or one person in particular on the show, and in this case, they decide to be very mean to Meg. Oh, that's horrible, and I will not have a bad work set about Meg. Shut up, Danny. Unless it's out of my mouth.
Starting point is 00:08:43 You can't, no one's... Look, I'm about to say some very explicit words, kids. So switch off the podcast because I have pre-warned you but yes this person said I was a contradicting cunt with an eight-inch clip Yeah
Starting point is 00:09:00 Is that what you were referring to? You sum that up Have you got the text And then your exchange where you went back and forth Because Meg decided to poke the bear And I'm going to have to search cunt I hope she didn't try to poke it with her eight-inch clip
Starting point is 00:09:13 Bullet It's good Thank you Do you know as well I mean if you've missed podcast this week. We found some Nerf bullets and we award one if you do something good. We take it away if you do something bad. We have to stop this because we can't keep explaining the bullets.
Starting point is 00:09:28 On here we go. I'm hoping eventually we wanted on here. I did something that that thought was good. And two people text that must listen to this podcast take us bullets. Right. What a pack of fuckwitz you lot are this morning. Okay, hold on. Let's just, again, let's do another. So we're all being included in this, not just me initially. Just another warning if you've got, if you don't like swearing. Too late.
Starting point is 00:09:49 She's your fuckwitz. Yeah, and clip. I already pre-warned. What a pack of fuckwits you lot are this morning. The lesbian one is very condescending. Can't get no licking this morning, queer prick. Yes, Lesbo, your voice makes me think you have an eight-inch clip. Poke it back into your vagina you were born with.
Starting point is 00:10:06 You sound queer. Randomly, just out of the blow. Now, the sad thing was that Meg and I would discuss which one they meant me. What is it Dan or Meg? So I had to text him and be like, do you mean Dan or Meg? I love that Clint wasn't even in the running. We knew it was one of us. He said, has Dan lost his dick?
Starting point is 00:10:29 It was the one born with the clit. Meg needs to push those eight inches back in. She sounds like a butch. So that's what I got yesterday. And then you didn't poke the beer again after that. No, I left it after that. Oh no. And then they said, by how quickly your texting back makes me think you've got no listeners.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Or just another little dick. Good. That was a good one. Right. So thank you for bringing that up. Clint, that was nice that you brought that up for me. How sad is that person that they would take it all that.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Sorry, oh, talk about. Other thinkers. Right. Just how, like, they must be so angry, eh, filled with anger.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. That they're having to text that, just expletive filled. Hot rock, Mick. Okay, hot rock, yeah, I let go of that. Although dad has been bringing up my eight-inch Clint,
Starting point is 00:11:13 Cliffison. So thanks for that, Dan, that stuck for you. I have it really. I just think it's a funny. Or eight inches long? Or eight-eight inch?
Starting point is 00:11:19 is wide. Is that even a burn? Let's move on. Okay. Is it a burn? Press it again. Oh. Go, Dan, you want to talk all over this one? No. My question this morning for us is, and I want to do a list. I'm going to get up a notes app. Here we go. I'm going to do a list and we're going to write
Starting point is 00:11:39 together a list of if you had to pick a celebrity to fight and if you beat them, you take home all their money who you're fighting. Good. Not Chris Hemsworth. He's got lots of it. I'm going to start off and I'm going to put them on the list. Can they be dead living or dead? No, they're alive.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Arianna Grande. I can bed her up. Done. Got her money. Who's next? Thank you. Dan, I honestly think you could take Timothy Shalameh.
Starting point is 00:12:06 No, let me think. No. He looks like he would be. He'd be methoded. He'd learn karate or something. Okay, all right. Who do you think you could take? Donald Trump?
Starting point is 00:12:15 Surely somebody can take Donald Trump. Oh, yeah. True. Clint, you'll take all his money. Right, we've got him. Oh, no, no, I don't want to fight Donald Trump. I don't want to fight him. I'm going to go into America soon.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Sorry, Clint did his run. Oh, no way. I'm going to send this to the... I would not fight him. Okay. I don't... I don't know to not leave me in the country. Somehow he uses AI to flag this podcast.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Stop putting ideas in my... Because I'm genuinely having a good think about this. Yeah, but we need to write a list. Yeah, okay. Oh, you want multiple people. Yes, we're running a list together. Yeah, yeah, we're going. We're going.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Oh, so you probably want to... No, I've got one. I'm tired. Who? Now what's her name? Eel on Musk. I don't need to fight anyone else after that. Okay, Clint, you've also been
Starting point is 00:12:52 Elin Musk and Donald Trump. Thank you for that for your service. I think I could take King Charles. I'm going to put him on the list. Okay. Dame Judy Dent. What the fuck is wrong with you? You're going to bash Dame Judy dead? No, she's old. Why would you do that?
Starting point is 00:13:05 She said she's probably not even got that much money so you're just beating up an old lady? Why don't you just go beat up a child or something? Like a rich kid. Who's, who are you thinking? No, but I don't really. You said to pick someone that you could safely win a fight. And we've picked Elon Musk, Donald Trump and King Charles.
Starting point is 00:13:23 You picked Dame Judy Dinch. Okay, I would, I would kill. Well, she's on the list now. Good one. Beat up. David Atembro. Sit on his face and suffocated. Do you reckon you could beat up David, I mean, Robert Schneider?
Starting point is 00:13:37 He's 62. He's too young. He's 60. I think that's really sad. I think that's really sad. I think he's still in that age of like wiry old man kind of thing. Although to be fair, I beat up our underground in and she's done nothing wrong. I'm also going to bet up Woody Allen.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Now I've got to... Oh yeah, he's frail good. Yeah. Yeah, nice. I don't even care about the money. Could you beat up, Dan, one of the Kardashian-Kanya kids? Because they had that money. We can't beat up kids.
Starting point is 00:13:58 No, kids... You want to beat an old lady before? Yeah, it's very sad. It's just in a fight. She's agreed to it. Oh, do you reckon you could beat up Harrison Ford? Yes, I'd have him. Do you reckon?
Starting point is 00:14:08 Yeah, he looks frail. There's absolutely no fucking way you could beat up Harrison Ford. He looks frail. There's no way you could. I'd just push him over. He'd be, he'd lose his balance. He's got muscle over years. It's like memory muscle.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Muscle memory. Okay, well, let me, give me Dench first. Old Manstrings. And I'll end her, end her, Dench and get all her funds. I think that'd be enough for me. Wait, okay. Well, we're doing it as a group pot. So we've so far bedding up.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Irene Grande, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Kinsch, Dave Judy Dench, David Adembert, and Woodielle. Can you find someone who's not older than 80 years of age? Yeah, you've picked all old people. Dan, you fought a 91-year-old and an 82-year-old. Yeah, I know, but you're picking the easy ones, aren't you're What about Timothy? You don't think you could beat up Timothy?
Starting point is 00:14:45 I think he'd be like he'd be nimble on his feet. He's smaller than me. I think if you fight someone that you can't beat, you lose all your money to that person. So what a waste beating up to senior citizens? Especially if I already fought Judy Dench and then I've got all her money and then bloody Timothy Shalomey comes in a tape.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I reckon I could smash Daniel Radcliffe. He'd have some Harry Potter money. You see now have videos of him. He's actually tiny. That's a good one, Clint. He's very small. Okay. Who could Dan beat him?
Starting point is 00:15:13 that's in their 30s. I reckon I could have, who's that little winger that's always winging about the environment? Thunberg. Why are you beating up women? Mate, you know who you should fight? Do you reckon you could beat Taylor Swift? No, she's loaded.
Starting point is 00:15:30 No, she's super fit as well. She's super fit. All right, Dan. What about Celine Dion? You don't think you could beat up Taylor Swift? You could... No. She's super fit.
Starting point is 00:15:38 She's three-hour stage shows. I'll fight, Taylor. I'll fight it. Oh, God, Taylor's a lot. I don't like right this list anymore. You put it up. No, Celendie. I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Oh, but you could beat up up Jane Tutting Judy Denge. Yeah, no, because I don't really have an affiliate. I love Celendia. I know, there's no way I could. She's on the list. Clint, you're beating her up. No, don't put her on if we haven't agreed.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Oh, Dan, you turn around. Turn around, Dad. Okay, and I'll have a man. We've got Harrison. Let me have a couple of men. I'm the richest out of all of us, by the way. Like, after our five fights. We're sharing the money cleanse.
Starting point is 00:16:06 That's why we're making the list. I think I could have Mr. Bean for lunch. That out of it. The conference is weird. And I could have. And for dinner. Yep. Who's that?
Starting point is 00:16:25 Hermione Granger. No, no, no. Who's that old fella? Clint Eastwood. I'd have him for dinner. No way. Again, Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood, kicking your ass. Clint Eastwood's in his 90s.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Yeah, and he's old, man. He's so old. I'd have him. Anyway, I think that's enough. Okay, so we're beating up. Rani Grande, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, King Charles, Dent, Judy Dent, David Adembarra, Woody Allen, Daniel Raycliffe, Taylor Swift, Celine Dion,
Starting point is 00:16:47 Harrison Ford, Rowan Atkinson and Clint Eastwood. Clint Eastwood's 96, bro. You've picked a lot of senior citizens there. That's what Meg said, the easiest ones to beat up. So I'm hedging my bets, aren't I? Poor Ariana. I feel like a good take her off the list. Otherwise, it's just a lot of old people and who are.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Yeah, true. So Ariana is off. Okay, sad to her. Anyway, there we go. Thanks for that, everybody. When are we fighting them? Who would win in a fight just to finish up? Who would win in a fight between Clint and I, Meg?
Starting point is 00:17:17 Clint, and I'd beat you up too. I agree. Overthinkers. Rover. Music, radio, podcasts.
