This is a podcast from Rover.
Overthinkers podcast.
Gota, welcome.
Clint Megan Dan with you.
It's been a crazy, crazy morning.
We've just finished every call at wins on our radio show
and jump in into our podcast.
Mental, 22,000 texts this morning.
I know.
And I'd say even more calls.
I hate to think.
We don't have the numbers I don't think on calls.
But I looked this morning,
just after we started like three minutes into the show,
there was already 5,000 people that have called.
Hey, who makes the, because it costs 20 cents,
the text of the show.
show right. Who makes the money out of the 22,000? Don't tell him,
don't tell him because he's, it's not in this country. Yeah, it's not only. Imagine,
imagine if you got like one cent out of that. Can I read some of the messages that I've got into
my DMs? I've got one saying, hello, hope you were well this morning. Could you give me
some tickets to EA? Right, this one. We've got another one saying, please, please, please,
please, please, please, please, I've called a thousand times. I mean, I don't know what they want me
to reply. Please, Meg, please, Betty.
I should have called her back
Can I say the one that came through
on the text machine?
I don't know if I can say it
I guess it's a podcast so I can.
Not the one with a cyst in the teeth.
No, there was someone that said call me
I've got a cyst with teeth in it.
No, is it the one that offered you a BJ?
Yeah, someone said,
Dan, I'll suck her dick for tickets.
What was his name?
To be honest, I don't know.
To be honest, I don't know if it was a guy or a girl.
Could have been.
Anyway.
Wow.
So they've got tickets.
So they were calling number three.
You know what I disappeared for 30 seconds before?
Yeah, that was that.
Yeah, that's a terrible thing to joke about you.
Sorry, are they?
Hey, they got some.
People did say they would do anything for tickets.
Probably our most fun one was Charlotte, who ended up shaving her head.
She's got hair below her shoulders,
and she cut it all off for tickets,
and then donated it to the Cancer Foundation.
So someone who's going through chemo will actually get to wear her hair as a wig.
My wife's done that before.
She got a bob once, and she had really long hair,
and she had it shaved off and donated.
So it's a really good thing to do.
And I think if you do get a haircut,
you don't need to donate as much as you think.
Okay.
Like a lot of people think,
oh, you need really long hair.
You don't.
Well, she said it had to be 35 centimetres.
35 and a half.
It was very specific.
Producer Carl's trying to get Charlotte on
because she will have,
that was two hours ago.
So she's got herself of probably,
what, number one, number two.
I'm not sure how short she went,
but we'll see if she loves it.
And, okay,
Cool, there she is.
Good morning.
Oh, I'll get away.
Oh, hi.
Morning, Charlotte.
Hey, Charlotte.
How are you feeling?
Morning, I'm good.
How are you guys?
Yeah.
How long is you're here?
So, like, how short did you go in the end?
I ended up getting a number one.
Wow.
So just not fully, fully shaved to the core, but pretty short.
No, that's good.
And are you going to, some people that do that get it colored, right?
You can do that?
Or you just going to leave it your natural color?
I think it could be fun.
to get it coloured, to be honest.
I'm thinking like maybe a bright orange
just something different.
Oh, wow, that is something like a carrot top.
And I, no, now that you see that, maybe I'll go a different colour.
Oh, sorry.
No, no, I didn't need me put you up.
Pink.
No.
No, I'm kidding.
But no, like, just something a bit fun and crazy
because it's a bit hard to colour when it's like full length and dark
and you have to go through with bleaching that and whatnot.
I love the way you look at life.
Are you one of those, like, YOLO people that's like,
you only live once?
You know what?
I'm just going to try it.
Are you one of those type of people?
Absolutely.
I'm so impulsive.
It's like probably to a detriment sometimes.
Do you have a good shaped head?
Every one of like everyone, but oh my God, it suits you so much.
You should keep it buzzed.
So I'm guessing so.
Nice.
Can we get some before and after picks?
Yeah, how can we get those to us?
I can possibly send you a couple, but the guys who I will with took so many photos,
the roadrunners.
so I imagine that they'll put you some through.
They haven't set them through yet slackers.
Yeah, to have a really good bone structure
to have a buzz cut, because I've had it before
and I look like a thumb when I get it done.
Yeah, my head is like really nice and round,
so we're thankful for that.
I one time had a friend many, many moons ago, Charlotte,
tried to put a ribbon around my hair
because it was like a, I was over in Camp American,
we had to do like a colour run day.
And he couldn't get in, couldn't get in,
and I was like, I got to the point.
I was like, what is actually happening?
Because it was like, we're talking minutes
to get a ribbon.
in my hair. She goes, I'm sorry, you've got a weird shaped head.
And you never forgot. I never forgot it, so.
Just the last thing you want to hear.
I know. And I've been weird about it since, so I don't think I could pull off a
I think you've got a lovely shaped head.
Well, you haven't seen my head shape. I wouldn't.
No, it's not good as that.
You should try it at least once, I reckon. I feel like it's just so like freeing.
Like you can feel the hair on your scalp and it's just like the wind on your scalp.
Yeah, I haven't had that since I was literally, literally a baby.
I was born with a full head of you.
I'm looking at photos of you now and you look fantastic.
Oh, thanks.
When you like roll over in bed, it's not going to get caught under it.
There's all these probably things you'll start realizing.
Oh my God, is this how easy guys have it?
God, it looks actually looks short.
I was about to buy like a new hair cooler the other week.
Oh, no.
And I'm so pleased they did it.
And we've got like my straighteners and hairdry mounted next to my dresser in the bedroom.
And I'm not going to need those anymore.
And my morning routine is going to be.
carved. It looks shorter than a one.
I'm seeing a photo now. That looks like a proper
like zero, but maybe it's a very
short one. Yeah, it's cool.
I have like a little bit of stubble.
Like, my beard
hair is probably longer than
the hair on my face.
Hell yeah. Nice. Hey, thanks.
Well, you enjoy electric haven't come, say hey to
us when you get there in February.
Yeah, absolutely will.
My hair will be hopefully a wee bit longer by then.
Yeah, maybe. They were laughing at me
because I've got a wedding in March and I'm bridesmaid
I don't consider that.
Oh, well, it doesn't matter.
Surely, surely the bribe would have mine.
You're going to be one of those friends like me, Charlotte.
Like if you're in the bridal party or whatever,
they go, now what are you doing with your hair?
And then I think Meg gave me specifics about what she wanted
because I was her celebrate.
Yeah, Clint texts me in there.
It was like, well, Kali, do you want me here?
He was, I think, at the time when we were talking about it, it was pink.
And I said, my favorite color is brown.
My favorite color is brown.
Blue Brown, hey, poo brown.
Yeah, food brown.
Yeah, I love brown, brown, brown, brown.
Produce carl has some bald advice for you, Charlotte, before you go.
Hey, Sharie.
Yeah, just from one baldy to another, I think like, you always want to, when you leave the house, just be prepared.
You want a collection of hats because you never know what the weather's going to do right in how your head's going to feel.
So have a sun hat, have a couple of beanies, and just leave them at different places in your life, some at home, some in the car.
Always have a spare.
Thanks for that.
I'm going to wear a Pikachu hat into the office, like a Pikachu beanie into the office today.
But I was like, no, just rock it.
Oh, yeah.
I'm outdoors quite a lot.
and I feel like summer sun is going to destroy my scalp.
Yeah, definitely have some sort of sun protected on that.
Nothing cooler than Pikachu.
I've always said that.
I've never heard of say that.
My catchphrase almost sometimes.
Charlotte, have a good weekend.
Sorry, Clint.
Thanks, guys.
Bye.
Bye, honey.
See you show.
Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
You sound like only Meg and I wanted to have a good weekend.
Yeah, obviously, Dad want to have a shit weekend.
Oh, you know what?
If she wants to have a good weekend, she can.
But I'm not going to force her into it.
I'm going to have a fantastic weekend.
It's my wife's 40th.
And she wanted to get a limousine.
Maybe it's because she wanted to feel young again, like, when you're in high school.
So we do a limousine to like a late lunch, and it'll be fun.
We've got some friends come up from Wellington.
I remember back to my school ball when we got a limousine similar to that.
I remember getting into it and it smelled like farts.
Was it you?
No, we were the first one.
No, we were the first ones in.
So I think the, like, it was.
Oh, got it.
Because then everyone thinks you dropped your guts out.
They had to have had really, really bad guts to hot box a limo.
I know.
That's what I mean.
So it was either the driver.
I wonder if the driver had just been fluffing the whole way before he picked us up.
And I like stunk out the whole limit.
Isn't that the worst?
I did that not long ago where I was like sitting in my car watching my son play football.
They had football training.
And I just like drop my guts.
It was one of those like, one of those like, drop your guts is such a disgusting.
So gross.
But you know what it was like one of those hot ones?
It was kind of hot passing through your cheeks.
And then anyway, literally seconds after I did it, one of the mum's knocks on the door.
to the car and I'm like, I'm going to get out and meet her around the side,
but then my son, Ty, opens the door and turns out the coach hadn't shown up
and they wanted me to jump in and warm up the boys before the coach arrived.
And she leans in and goes, hey Clint, would you have...
It's disgusting.
Oh, did you smell it?
That's fucking disgusting.
Oh.
I was like, I'm in my, I'm in my, I'm in the privacy of my own car.
Have you ever done one of those ones?
You've ever done one of those ones where you...
This is disgusting, but where you fart.
and then you get out of the car for like hours and come back and it still smells like fart
and you go oh no it's in my seats yeah it's like sticks neither neither neither
no you know anyway and today is a special day isn't it it's the day hopefully we're not
going to get one of those um okay so we're going to go from farts into more farts okay well
you're the guy that brought it up man well hey um just so you know as well we're not going to
be around next week um megan dan actually you brought up the fart in the limo actually
Oh my bugger
Dirty bastard
You got me
Guilty this charge
Yeah
Yeah
Meg and Dan wanted a week off
And so I have been forced to take one as well
So before you start throwing shade at me
I know I just went on holiday
So I'm going to be taking a week as well
So there won't be any podcast next week
Unless producers are throwing highlights together and show
Now here's the thing
If we really want to get home truthy here
We will Clint you've thrown the first stone
So here's a stone being thrown back at you
Go
Clint's going to Africa for two weeks
in a few weeks time,
they wouldn't let Megan I have the same time off.
So we've gone, can we at least have a week off, please?
Before Christmas.
And they've gone, fine.
And they've given us this week, which we had no time to plan for,
or do anything for, so now me and Dad are both just sitting at home.
Wait, wait, so you wanted to take the week off that I'm already away?
And they said, no.
No, I don't have enough leave.
They were like, no, you can't because then you go on to negative leave.
Two weeks after.
Well, you could have just taken one off while I was away.
Potentially.
Yeah, you'd have one more time.
So I said, I'll stay and run the show while you guys are away.
And the boss was like, nah, you go as well.
I got the sense that he just did not want anything to do with you being on air by yourself.
I think that's what I got the vibe I got.
Did you get that, Meg?
Yeah, I mean, has that ever...
I've done a show by myself when neither of you turned up.
Yeah, that was terrible, apparently.
The losses still talk about it.
They like, that was shopping.
Never let Meg on again by herself.
They said that.
I said five years of it, you fuck quit.
What did you do for fucking 10 years behind the scenes,
Mr Producer Boy?
Nothing wrong with being a producer.
Oh, sorry, yeah.
Sorry, Carl, he's listening.
He's always listening in the piss you off.
It's his job.
It's a producing job.
Listening to you, fuckwits.
Sorry, Carl, I last shot because he came at me and then...
Oh, it's backfired, isn't it?
It's backfired, isn't it?
It's backfired, now pissed off, Carl.
Yeah.
Should I smoke screen it?
Not literally.
Thought that'll leave you with hairy eyes.
Guess the fart what's that smell?
Stinky mystery
For us to one bear
Oh
Guess the Fault
May I haven't won an ages
Who listens to this, eh?
I think you'll be very surprised
How many people love Guess the Fart
It's not my favourite
But hey
I'm not eating
Because Farts are funny
And when you're listening to a podcast
You don't get the worst part of a fart
Which is the smell
You do, Dan
I know, that's why I leave the studio
As soon as he does it
They're normally not bad
As somebody who has
You know, been around Clint's Farts for many years
But me, you've said that now.
Today's the day, it's going to be a sticky one.
Sticky.
I'm pretty blocked up.
So you could, Clint, let rip.
Let rip, because I don't even think I could smell.
Okay.
Well, you got to guess first?
Yep.
Okay, I'll let you go first this time, Meg, because I think you...
I did last time.
Okay, do you want me to go first?
Yeah.
Okay. I'm going to go...
Whenever I haven't weed, I worry, I piss myself.
I don't think he's going to be very good today.
I think he's going to go...
Just a little one, you know, just a little one.
She's using your arm on.
Jesus Christ.
I don't think I've ever heard him do one like that.
Like really put some sword into it.
I'm trying.
Okay, here we go.
It's a tie.
It's a tie.
See you later.
Have a good.
Oh, have a good weight, boys.
Leave you with teary eyes.
Guess what's that smell?
Stinky mystery for us to one tail.
Guess the fall.
A little bit of wee.
Told you, eh?
Yeah.
Should I start sitting
new the nappies?
I don't need nappies, no.
Okay, what are you still doing here?
Go on your weekend, man.
Get out of here.
We listen to people fart and shit.
Get out of here.
Go.
Rover, music, radio, podcasts.
