Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a podcast from Rover. This is the Overthinkers podcast. Dan, before we can even start, I was just making a statement about me and somehow I've offended Meg's physicality. So, okay, this is what happens. I said, look, you live in the rooms. It's just us to it. It's just me and Clint in here. And Clint goes, I need to do a little wee cute poo.
Starting point is 00:00:19 He said, I need to take a massive dump. And it's just me and him in here. And I go, I've got to work on my lungs. She goes, you're right, Clint. I do need to try better. I need to do more. I need to work on. I was like, what?
Starting point is 00:00:32 Because literally, your first thing you say, if somebody comes in here who's a hot girl, I don't find in front of girls, and you tell me you need to take a massive dump. So that is to me, I'm like, I am at my worst. But Clint and I don't look at you as a hot girl. You know what, Clint, thank you. Because that has given me a bit of a boost to, like, get off my ass and do something about it. I'm just going to cash makeup. You don't.
Starting point is 00:00:53 You don't. It's coming natural hair to work. We'll never look at you like a hot girl. We'll look at you like our favorite sister. You wouldn't fuck your step-sister, you've told me that. Not this one. Like, I would never... Your actual hypothetical, you're hypothetical.
Starting point is 00:01:11 For that to work, I've spoken about this before. My fantasy is that my... I'm like 16. My mum remarries. Okay. She, the new man she marries, has a hot 18 year old daughter
Starting point is 00:01:32 She moves in just down the hallway We start hitting her off We're like flirting You know at the dinner table at night We're like flirting She's like pass me the peas And I'm like you'd like that one Yeah
Starting point is 00:01:43 Yeah Because otherwise I can't eat them Yeah cool And then so I hand her the peas And then like She's like thanks And then at night So wait when you hand the bowl
Starting point is 00:01:55 When she grabs it Does she kind of run her hand Along your hand Does she take your bowl? You know what? One of those moments when you sort of connect and we're like, oh, we shouldn't. It's taboo. The spark shoots from you to her.
Starting point is 00:02:04 But not legally. And then so things lead to another and then one night there's a knock on my door in my room. So clear you don't have a sister. And it opens up and it's her and she's naked. What? Her dad lives there. Yeah, no, but they're in bed. But mum and dad are in bed.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Are they upstairs? It's risky to be naked in your house when your dad lives there. I know. And that's even hotter, right? Like, that's hot. What, that her dad's upstairs? No, that she's naked. Oh, my.
Starting point is 00:02:30 So she comes in and we... Scissor? You're trying to? You scissors. I'm a girl in this room. We're lesbians. That's my fantasy. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:02:42 So, yeah. Clint, can you just be honest, though? Yeah. You have always said that you can't even do a little, like, fight in front of hot girls. And you say it, you say that line. It's not even, like, eluded. You go, I can't fight in front of hot girls. Do you say that?
Starting point is 00:02:55 Yes or no. Yeah, I do. So when you say, I don't go. to take a massive dump and I'm the only person in the room. Can you see... Can you see why I might be thinking... I do see that. Yeah, that's on me.
Starting point is 00:03:05 But the other thing is, is that Meg knows so much of my good sides and my bad sides. Whereas somebody who comes in a room, you're always on your best behaviour because they don't know any of your side. Are you having another packet of nerds? I can't put them on the bun. They don't throw them away. They're like fresh lollies. Give them here. I haven't even had one.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Oh, look what you did. Just put them in the bin. Oh, you're in trouble Why am I in trouble? I'm just saying, I share the nerds. You got mail. Okay, Miggs's been going through it. I see that I opened a second packet.
Starting point is 00:03:45 You never said anything to me. Yeah, I wouldn't because I feel guilty. Migs going through. Right, mail bag. All right. She doesn't really because she said love you. That's an easier way than saying love you. What you say
Starting point is 00:03:59 When you just get to know someone The meal bag The mail bag The mail bag Um Let's have a look See What do we have
Starting point is 00:04:08 Oh There's a big one About bodybuilding Okay Oh here we go So I think somebody's sticking up You, Dan, about being naked Over the minute
Starting point is 00:04:19 You want to make your weight Lose journey Oh my They're just happy that you're losing weight. They've got all your fat, good on you Good on you You'd make, doing something about that. Oh, somebody wants us to talk to Linda.
Starting point is 00:04:31 That's nice. Where's she been? I think they're a little worried about her when it comes to, um, who do we have? John. John Aiken, yeah, he's sort of taken her spot because he's like so unbelievably good. And Linda was quite rude and crass. Maybe a little bit, a little bit risky for an 8 a.m. time slot. The thing with Linda is I don't think, like she were, we got her on for Claire Vowency, but she didn't really do any of that, did she?
Starting point is 00:04:53 She'd mainly just insult people. Flit with Clint. Yeah, we could definitely get Linda in. and we can get Linda in. One more also from Amy. Hey guys, I've listened to the show for years. It puts me to sleep every night. Don't tell that to our boss.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Are we like the cold play of radio shows? I love you all, but I'm especially proud of Dan and Meg for becoming an amazing parents. Well, I became maybe an amazing parent so long ago that's not worth bringing up. They said Clint, all these holidays you go on, seems like you're doing well. Well, it sounds like they don't like Clint, hey.
Starting point is 00:05:23 But that's why there are three of us. I don't think they have to like all of us. And you know what? years ago when I first started, they would have really got to me because I would like have this obsession. I think most people already have the decision with everyone liking you. That's okay now. That's the biggest mistake to make.
Starting point is 00:05:37 And you actually will never, no matter who you are, you couldn't name one person and the whole planet that everyone likes. No, no, no, there isn't. And once you realize that, even the person that you think is the most awesome, funniest person, there'll be some... What do you got to say about her bad stuff? Someone who doesn't like that she's getting
Starting point is 00:05:55 so much attention, who also does good stuff, and doesn't get any attention for it would probably be like, oh yeah, she's not the only one out here doing something. You know, people are fine. Yeah, you can't please everyone. Yeah, the moment you try to, you're fucked.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Yeah, so that's okay. That's okay, as long as you're like one of us and you listen. Amy, Amy had a question for the lemon tree. How's it looking? Oh, dead. Full dead.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Cool. Yeah, we talked about how I, because I rent my place they live in because I'm just a never man. Renting out the place that you own. Yeah. Dan tries to pretend he's a man of the people laid by renting. But he also is a landlord.
Starting point is 00:06:26 We don't own a house that we live in. Anyway, so... You just say that we live in quiet. Say it off, Mike. Anyway, so, yeah, the house that we live in that we don't own, the lemon tree out the front, the landlord, like, his mother planted years ago. And when we moved in, he was like, the one thing,
Starting point is 00:06:46 please just look after the lemon tree. It's dead. Was he really upset? Yeah, well, I think he... Because you sent him the photo and you didn't get a reply. We never got a reply. And then he contacted Hannah weirdly. And was like, hey.
Starting point is 00:06:58 we're going to have to replant that but we're going to get someone in so they're doing it. So they're not letting us to do it. What, we put a new tree in? Yeah. Oh, that doesn't feel the same. Oh, well. I don't think they led on that they were angry, but I think he was a bit but hurt about it. All right, let's get Linda in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Is Linda out there at all? She's always around. She's always around. Is Linda out there at all? She's normally in one of the cupboards. Yeah, no, hang on. Yeah, a cupboard just opened and a whole bunch of wine bottles fell out. I've got to get her. Yeah, that'll be good. That would be so good. You go find.
Starting point is 00:07:28 her as well Dan in case Carl needs a hand carrying her in. We'll just wait now I guess. Yeah. Do you have any questions for her? I'll ask her about my house sale. That's a house going in the market in, if you're sitting there desperate to buy my house, 13 days, 13 days, two weeks. Isn't it so funny?
Starting point is 00:07:48 And rightly so, I'm not having a go. But we can be like so private with where we live in our house. But then when we're selling it, everyone is like, right, let's get as many people in here as possible. That's what the real estate agent is like trying to like be, like let's post it and I'm like, I can't. I don't even like post my kids' faces, let alone posting their address. But I probably will post photos and ask if people are interested in buying, they can DM me and we can talk. But like, you know, give them details. But I don't really know what to do.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Tricky, because even while you're promoting the house, you're right, you're still living there for the two weeks. And even however long the settlement is. Yeah. Yeah. So maybe that's a good point. I'll post that photos. If people, I mean, I'm sure people will still find out. I'm sure people will still be nosy. I like to think that the people that listen to the show are normal enough to just be kind of normal and not be weird but I mean I don't think
Starting point is 00:08:34 Yeah Oh hello Well you can ask you've died your hair darling Same dress though Hello my darling Are you got like similar Blue shirt underneath the dam was wearing You need a toner
Starting point is 00:08:45 I do need a toner actually darling If you could sort that out I'm going to be fantastic I've never been a big makeup lady though have I No it's a big shaver Toner's down feel here You know Clinton I've always said this.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I've always said, just let the hair grow. As it should. And you know what? If you think this is bad at my face, you should see my mouth. Yeah, fuck society. You know, and on the pressures that they put on women, Linder. I love that about you. I think womanly pressures are just so bad.
Starting point is 00:09:12 There's so many, you know, shave. Yeah, wax. They say, put makeup on. They say, you know, wax all the nose hairs out of your nose. Yeah, I get you. Just let it flow. But I'm not, um, there's no double standard with me. Because I also don't, I also don't like,
Starting point is 00:09:27 hair on my own body. So I shave it all off my chest and my stomachated flow. I kind of accept it from you, Clint, because of that. Truly, I don't accept it from men that are like even just trims and they expect women to be bald everywhere. And then they're not themselves and they say it's for hygiene. I'm like, well, obviously you think you must be unhygienic. They're rocking this big hearing back, but they want you to wax everything.
Starting point is 00:09:46 But you are the only man. And I know that actually you also hate hair on your own body. So I accept it from you. It's okay. It's just personal preference. Oh, honestly. Yes. I once sat with Clint one night.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Completely bald, isn't he? Yes, it was like the Amazon rainforest slipped with someone shaved. Vince Vaughan. Like the Sarah Desert? Yeah, that's probably a good analogy. Antarctica, that feels more bald. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:14 That's why you're the funny one on the show, Jalek. How have you been, Linda? I have been a little bit butt hurt if I'm honest, darling. Oh, really? What? Have I thought with us? Yes, and that's why I'm sort of feeling a little bit down. And it's only because you got on that fucking fake prick John Edward
Starting point is 00:10:29 Oh no he's one of the best in the boo He's up there with that Calvin Crookshank Just absolute fakery You know what he does Just make stuff up don't you Okay well you try and make something up with me then And see if it's as easy as you think it is No I'm not going to now because you've just put my nose out
Starting point is 00:10:45 You know I feel really offended That you haven't got me in But if you're here Could you do a reading because Mick's got some questions And some answers and things she'd really like to know Just this one time Because I didn't get to ask John Yeah
Starting point is 00:10:57 It just promise me you won't Get that prick John Edward in. Nah, come from... Well, not this week. No. Well, okay. Well, just never. Please, just don't do it.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Okay, I've even got your own backing track. I'll only use this one for you. Okay. Linda, as we were talking about before, house sale. How's it going to go? So you're a house. Let me just, hold on. I'm just going to tap into you.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Yeah, it takes time. I'll get your legs a little bit, Meg, and I'll just... There we go. Right. I'm inside you. Right. Inside her mind. Yeah, but I had to go through the.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Oh, you got to go through there. Spiritually. Wow. Obviously in person. How do you do it with men? Same place. Wow. I've got the arse.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Yeah, good. Okay. Yeah, I don't think I have any questions, actually. Flip, bend over. No, no, I suddenly don't need to know much about my future. I do have to go physically up with men. Yeah. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Meets, house sale, yeah, because she's doing a lot of Reno's. to try and get it like really looking its best. Like if her house was going on a first date. I hope so. Second. For sure. I'm just inside your house now. I can be inside you and your house.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Okay, first time buy a sort of pricing. Yes, yes. I can see the number six. Don't like that. It's coming up. Don't like that. It could be six, seven. Seven-ish, six seven?
Starting point is 00:12:23 We'll get rid of the first one. Okay, seven. Yeah. Okay. I'll say seven then, Clint. Good luck. I'm looking at that and I'm seeing that it's looking like highly likely that it will sell. I'm seeing the year 2030.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Oh. Are you looking for a quick sale, darling? Jeez, if it's still at the seven at 2030. Definitely done something wrong. Okay, all right. Any other questions before I come out of you? You stay up inside me for a little bit. What about buying a house?
Starting point is 00:12:57 Because I'm very nervous about finding that house that I can. can move into. Well, you're in the awkward position, darling, where you have to sell your house before you buy another. Is the house? I'm just, because it isn't on the market yet, the house that I'm going to buy. It's somewhere out there and somebody's going,
Starting point is 00:13:11 we have to get our house on the market. What does it look like? What's it look like? What's the neighbourhood like? How many bedrooms? Does there have any cool features? Yeah, thanks for that, Clint. Okay, yes, I can see.
Starting point is 00:13:21 I can see a house in your future. Yes, it's a beautiful, beautiful house. Oh, good. It's got a big window at the front. looking out over what I can only describe as it's like a canyon It could be a canyon
Starting point is 00:13:36 Or it could be a tip It could be like Something was like rolling Like when they dig out Yeah it could be A quarry It could be quarry In fact I can't see the house really at all
Starting point is 00:13:48 I can see tip in a quarry And You're married, you're married Yeah I'm married I don't see a husband in your future. Well, he's not in the house? Yeah, he's not in your house. Maybe he leaves you from the stress of selling a mind. That's a worry because I was playing
Starting point is 00:14:03 I was doing imaginary play playtime with Daisy, my daughter the other day and she loves to do families where she goes, I'm mum and you're Daisy and I go great, she goes, pretend dad's dead. Oh. And I go, no. She goes, oh, pretend dad's at work for a really long
Starting point is 00:14:20 time. Am I right? She's a clever when they're like, that's actually harder. He hasn't worked in like four years. It's easier to imagine his death. I'd get Guy to check with a bit, but go for a checkup. Don't get into me. Linda, go up inside Clint, please. Okay, hold on.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Wait, so wait, what happens with the play? The fake play, was it at the end? Well, then we just played, and it was just me and her. Oh, she just was to play with our dad there. She just was playing between Dad's not there. Oh. Yeah. She's spoiled, though, having a Dad round all the time, like the thing.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Yeah. All right, man. I've finished inside you. Oh, I'll come out of... God, what a mess. You've left it. Close. What a mess you've lifted. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:15:03 I always like to leave the places I've been in better state than they were before. And this occasion I've failed. Okay, here we go. Right. Up inside Clint. Right, here we go. This wouldn't be the first time. We'll at Clint, eh?
Starting point is 00:15:14 Well, jee-bos. Oh, that there's... Okay. Clint, this is your own ass we're doing, and you're doing the sound of me. How are you, Clinton? I actually have been feeling... Relax. You said your tears.
Starting point is 00:15:28 You're a tense. We've taken a lot of maxagic I've been getting like headaches and things lately Yeah Yeah Makes are worried Because he's having I don't know
Starting point is 00:15:38 When I take the painkillers It goes away And then it comes back You should really get that checks Darling I mean every time Your body's trying to tell you something And I think if you're getting headaches
Starting point is 00:15:46 And things that are out of the ordinary You should definitely get those checked I haven't been drinking And I wonder if that's it I can see a lot of drinking in a future So I don't think that's the worry Okay Oh how's this trip gonna go
Starting point is 00:15:57 He's going to Africa Oh yeah to Africa. You must have been there, Linda. I've been to Africa many, many times. In fact, I got this dress from there from some of the Zulus. Congo, have you ever been to Congo? That had a Congo line.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Because they have the largest average penal size in the world. You'd fit in. Thanks, Linda. You're just looking around where you're? Yeah, yes, yes. Now, Klinga, I can see, yeah, I think it's going to be a beautiful trip. You and your wife are going to be doing a lot of traveling around there, beautiful. You're going into
Starting point is 00:16:29 Are you flying into Durban Durban? Isn't that in Ireland? That's Dublin Fucking now God Geography wasn't your strongship was it? No I haven't been to Europe Ever before
Starting point is 00:16:42 And no we're going to Kenya Oh Kenya Yes beautiful part of Africa Yeah Yes I can see that you're going to be Seeing some beautiful animals over there You and your wife are going to have some beautiful times Together there
Starting point is 00:16:55 And you really are going to enjoy you'll trip over to. Okay, great. So I'm not going to get rabies. Because I didn't take the rabies shot because it was $165 per person. And then when I chipped teet it, it was a 1 and 200,000 chance.
Starting point is 00:17:08 And I'll take those odds. No, getting bitten by an animal is not going to be in your problem there. Oh, great. Yeah. It's just your wife's going to be biting you a lot. Oh, yes. You don't need a rabies shot for that, darling.
Starting point is 00:17:19 I wanted to go visit my sponsor child while I was in Tanzania because we're also going to Tanzania. What are the chances that we bump into each other? Who are you going with Sorry? Who's ever? Who are you wanting to bump into? Ali Ali Juma.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Ali Juma. He's dead. Oh. That's a shame because he's like 14 years younger than me. You didn't give enough. So he's only like 27. You didn't give enough to World Vision that he passed away from starvation. I only paid to look after him between the years of 4 and 18 and then they said he was on his own.
Starting point is 00:17:52 You can't sponsor an adult. You can only sponsor a child. You should have kept sponsoring him, darling, unfortunately, because. you know. I also would check Was it the rabies? It was the rabies. He got bitten by a shark.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I mean a monkey. Right. Same, same. I can see how you get those confused when you're in the spirit world. Yes, yes, yes, yes. And is that all you want? Can I come out of you now?
Starting point is 00:18:19 Yeah, I might do a little stopover in China. Anything fun there? We've got a 19-hour stopover. Don't go near any bats, that's all I say. Because the last time someone did. that. Yeah, right. Didn't end well.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Did it for the world. What did you get up to during COVID, Linda? Mostly masturbating. It was two years, was it? You'd rub it off, I would imagine. I was edging. This is big shocking. I'm sorry, guys.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Edging is not fun, is it? I hate it. Why? Why? Like, I honestly think, I don't know if this is for everyone. But when you, like, edge and then stop, and then edge and then stop. When you do find it, you do find it. finish, it's average.
Starting point is 00:19:02 It's like your body goes, well, stuffy then your body gets like upset with you. It gets all stubborn and then goes, oh, well, guess what? It's going to suck now. And it does. It's like average because you keep going back. You always have an edge well, Clinton. You know, I think there is a time and place for it. And the time and place for me was two years during COVID.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Jesus. Yes. But I mean, you become a master. Yeah. I just don't know. Is anyone else doing the edging thing, does that make it better or worse? Worse for me? I think I've always loved it.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Maybe it's the girl thing. I don't like it, too. Boys? Does itching make it better or worse? Yeah, it makes it better. It's fun. Yeah, I mean, it lasts longer. It's more fun because you're having more of a time. But when you finally do end your time... Yeah, it makes it way better. Wow. No, okay, I'm like 20 seconds, eh?
Starting point is 00:19:44 Linda, you're here. You're here. You're here. Brady's like, what's edging? There's no way once I get to the end of that I'm going back. And he's already edged three times in that, in that 20 seconds. Carl always edges, though. We're on the edge. Yeah, yeah, true.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Linda, did you want to go inside Carl or Brady? done. You won't go back to your wine concert. You look exhausted from the readers. I'm like 11 from Stranger Things. If I go inside too many people, I get a nosebleed. I don't remember those episodes. Sorry then. No, but you know what I mean? Like, if I use my pals too often, I do. Yeah, okay. All right. Okay, Linda, it was nice to see you. And thank you so much for messaging to our mailbag to hear from Linda.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yeah, that's your fault, by the way, if you message that and you want to Linda back and you didn't like it? Well, that's your fault. That's your fault because I wasn't prepared for it. Usually I'm scripted. And I wasn't this time because I had no time to script anything. Yeah, right. Okay. We have staff meetings, so you have to get out of here.
Starting point is 00:20:42 I was thank God for that. Yeah. Saved by the bell. Overthinkers. Rover. Music, radio, podcasts.
