Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a podcast from Rover. This is the Overthinkers podcast. Kilda and welcome, Kloom Kempig and Dan. Hey, it's good to be here. Do a radio show, but then when that's over, we jump on to a podcast. And I'm bringing in content today. I saw this amazing video, a girl uploaded, who had, didn't know her dad. She didn't know her dad a whole life.
Starting point is 00:00:23 And as she came of age, she decided that she'd get to know him or like try and find him, which I think a lot of people eventually do. that like actually I would like to know about the other person, the other half of me. Of course. And so she did that. And when she found out his name and did a little bit of research, she found that, you know,
Starting point is 00:00:37 you would see all their social media pages. They'd pop up with a LinkedIn, with an Instagram. And her dad had something called a SoundCloud, which is where you can upload your own music for producers and companies to find you, discover you, and also for people to enjoy your music. She was like, oh, look at that. My father has a SoundCloud.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Maybe he's a singer or, you know, an artist. of some forms. And so she listened to his song that he had uploaded and it was this. Take your panties off, girl. And though I'm in your eyes. Take your panties off.
Starting point is 00:01:49 And you're like, okay. He's got a bit of a system where he just says, take your panties off and throw them on a place that rhymes with where he wants to have sex with you. Hey, look, we've seen it before. It's a rhyming system we've seen before. We'll see it again. The top comments was just say he died in the wall.
Starting point is 00:02:07 Take your, okay, we'll do one. Take your panties off, girl, and throw them on the tiles. I reckon do it with the big twins. Can we get the be? Oh, we need to get it. I'll take you to the bedroom, girl, and I do you duggies. stars.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Oh, yeah. Okay, Dan, you want to go to Oh, God, this is putting me on this spot. Just thinking about how you want to have sex or someone. Think of somebody the rhymes of we would throw the panties.
Starting point is 00:02:29 So what I say? Take your panties off, girl. Throw them on the blank. Okay. And then let me do whatever. Okay, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:36 I've got what I've got. Okay, take your panties off, girl, and throw them in the sink. Okay. Then come over here. I'll do you up the stink.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Oh. Okay Oh my God It's disgusting I can't believe I didn't Yeah You're gonna This is just another nail in your coffin
Starting point is 00:03:01 Why you can never run for Prime Minister Yeah I know I know I think that's ship's long sale Clint Yeah So gone
Starting point is 00:03:08 Oh man I think I could go for the act party But that's about it Yeah the act party boat Still docked Wait for you to get on board It's slowly leaving port though That's so good
Starting point is 00:03:20 Yeah Oh God Imagine funny Your dad did that. Take your panties off, girl, and throw them in the sand. Then I'll twist you round and bend you over, stretch you like a rubber band. Jamie. What does she look like a person?
Starting point is 00:03:40 Why you're stretching it? Just a stretch every night just to go. She's got pulled hands. I'm surprised she's not in a wheelchair. That poor woman. She does have a slight lip. No, she doesn't. Okay, Meg.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Okay, okay. Just, come on. Don't think. You're thinking too much. I've got to think a little bit. Take your panties off, girl, and throw them in the cellist. I'll go again. And I'll do you so hard.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I'll make the kama Sutra jealous. Me? Okay. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to stop. Okay. I feel like as soon as you do the first room, you're going to know the last one.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Okay. That's designed. Take your panties off, girl. I know you only just met. Take your panties off, girl. I've gotten really wet. Ooh, the dude. The dude got wet.
Starting point is 00:04:42 She pissed himself before. I was so excited. I'm singing as me. I'm singing as a female. Sorry, that's my experience. True, right, right, right, because you can have lesbian sex. Cool. I said, I've gotten really wet.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Yeah, yeah, but you're saying take your panties off girl. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She can't explain it in the rat. By the way, that was me that was getting weird. He's not pissed himself. I'm bisoned, too. Just so you know, the people are thinking he's wet? Not the case, that was me.
Starting point is 00:05:11 I was all wet from that. Anyway, we're on with a rat. I can do one from a dick point of view if you like that. Okay, go on. Oh, fuck, you go. It's atrocious, okay. Yeah, I've got a penis. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:23 I've got a cock Right, here we go Take your pennies off, girl You can't stop and think Eminem doesn't have already Did you just think your brain would come up with something? No Does that not happen?
Starting point is 00:05:37 I don't think that's, I mean I don't think Eminem just goes on stage She goes, I'm going to just bake it up tonight And I'm going to rip it from the start I think he does No, he doesn't Okay, let me think of a position Okay, good
Starting point is 00:05:48 Okay, okay Take your panties off girl and throw them where and throw them in there she's literally holding them looking at me going and now where do you throw them and throw them in the fisheries
Starting point is 00:06:04 fisheries get your penny tough girl we're going and do it missionary and fisheries doesn't even really rhyme so when she throws them in the fisheries where are they landing specifically like a little boat or something
Starting point is 00:06:20 what do you mean just move on a little a little to be a space This is the Overthinkers Podcast Anyway, is she tracking down her old man now or no? I think she left it. I think she's seen his stuff. She's making a lot of fun of her
Starting point is 00:06:37 mum. Mom's getting a lot of shit because that was her type. I think it's a tricky one when you haven't met your parents before or maybe you have met them but they're so not necessarily embarrassing but you're so ashamed of them that you're
Starting point is 00:06:53 You're like, I don't even want to be associated. That's going to be our kids. You do realize that. Like, our kids know us. But one day they'll go back and hear this podcast and be able to play it on a TikTok and go, this is my dad. True. And it was just Clint doing a bit gag about mum being bendy like a rubber band.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah. That's exactly what's happened. My son, because he knows I work on radio. He's just starting to realize that it'll work on radio. And he knows that I work with Meg. But he's not so privy with Clint at the moment. So he'll see a video of me online when I'm scrolling. and it'll be of Clint, and he'll think it's me, he'll go, there's Meg.
Starting point is 00:07:26 And then you'll see it, think of you, and go Meg. So everybody's Meg. Everybody's Meg. Also, Meg might be his word for friend. Yeah. Yeah. Colleague means Meg. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:36 So, yeah, it's hard to explain jobs to kids, eh? Well, I don't mind I'm spending some time with him and broling down if you invite us to the lakehouse. It's not my lake house to invite you to. It's Hannah's family. You must be able to invite us to the lakehouse by now. Yeah. You have Boys Weekend. Clint doesn't even get invited to boys weekend.
Starting point is 00:07:55 You will be next year. From next year, maybe I'll get one guest. Wow, he stumbled around the sentence four times and threw in a maybe. Probably the following year, 28. That's when I'm out of contract with the time. So, chances are I won't even need to invite him.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Don't you take Mario, your father-in-law? Mario's already there. Oh, right, so you get to take your podcast. He's in my inner sanctum, inner circle. Yeah, right. No, I would love Clint to come. I'd love you to come, Meg, but you have to grow a cock.
Starting point is 00:08:23 I know. I'm so gutted about that. Not that's what we need to be there. It's not like everybody's like, oh, no cop. No people, unless you've got a cock, you can't come along. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:33 But technically. Yeah, I do get jealous with those guys that get to go on the girls' trips. I mean, typically they're gay. And so I guess a lot of the girls will see him as one of the girls. But I do, I think it would be a cool thing, and I've seen people do this on social media before,
Starting point is 00:08:47 where they will bring one of their girlfriends on a boy's trip, and the girl has to embrace all the guy things because she's that curious about what happens. And it would be fun to do it the other way around too. Go on to her girls' weekend. Which might, isn't it just a lot of wine drinking and eating?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Yeah. We have that friend, Ricky. We've got a friend called Ricky Bannister. He's now he does web at the edge and stuff. But he's one of those guys. He's straight married to a woman. But I reckon he gets invited to a lot of the girls' things. Everyone loves Ricky. He's not a threat. Yeah, everyone loves Ricky. I think it's a real compliment if you get
Starting point is 00:09:19 to get back to the girls things. I think I'm on the cusp of that. Yeah. My husband, too. Yeah, but I don't think I'm quite there. I like pillow fights just as much as the next girl. Yeah, but you'll get a bonus. We don't do pillow fights. When was, do you, you've never had a pillow fight at a girl's weekend.
Starting point is 00:09:34 I'm sorry to say, Clint, I have never in any of my girls' nights, weekends, trips away, sleepovers at a hotel, had a pillow fight with my girlfriends. Not even as a joke of being like, oh my God, girls weekend, let's pillow fight. At no point, because I'm the bisexual friend. That'd be like, get out. Yeah, get out. Get out. She's hitting on us again.
Starting point is 00:09:52 See you're like, Meag, you were lucky to be here being bisexual. Yeah, it's a bit awkward with you. That's interesting though, isn't it? Because say, for instance, yeah, because the girls' weekend is this inner sector, and what if, when they are inviting a bisexual, you know?
Starting point is 00:10:07 I'm not looking at my girlfriend's naked. I'm not. The idea of it makes me sick. That's interesting, my friends. Being a, because no one else on the show is that way. Yeah, that way. Inclined. But I've always thought that if I was gay,
Starting point is 00:10:21 Would I think that my friends were hot? I appreciate that my friends are beautiful women, but the idea of seeing them, it's the same as seeing a sister. So it's like, I wouldn't want to see my sister naked. I wouldn't go, oh, my sister's hot because I'm half gay. I would just be like, my sister's beautiful, and then be like, oh, I don't want to see that, I imagine. You know, Clint still wants to have sex with the sister.
Starting point is 00:10:41 This always gets you cut up. I don't have a sister. No, it's hard for me to know if I would. Imagine if you grew up and you were a tricked to her sister. That's not normal, man. It's not, no, I can get it if it's a step-sister and you've met them later in life. No, literally I was watching this episode last night in Friends
Starting point is 00:11:00 where Rachel's dating the guy who's too close to his sister. And you know, and Rachel's like, I don't think I can do it. And he's like, everyone always says, why did women have a problem with me having a close relation with my sister? And so he convinces Rachel to give another chance. And then the sister leans out and she's like, whatever his name is, Jared, come on, the bath's getting cold. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:11:20 And Rachel's right. Nah, I'm out. No. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, well, um, okay, so they don't do the, um, no, we don't do the, um, what do you think guys do it? Guys we can.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Oh, oh, oh, oh, fun. And we'll say whether or not we actually do that. Okay, I think the boys get together and the boys reminisce about the same stories from high school forever. Like, you know, just the same, the same fucking gags come up every time. But every time it's just as funny. I'm not taking the best out of that. It's like, holy shit. I remember that time in high school when you...
Starting point is 00:11:50 And it comes up again and again, every time it's fucking funny. 100% yeah. Then you have some beers. Oh, yeah, yeah. Not compulsory, but yeah. Yeah, probably have some beers. You're still talking about the stories.
Starting point is 00:11:59 It depends where you are. Obviously, if there's an activity like fishing, then you'll fish. But other than that, I feel like it's beers. You know, like even if somebody's had a big life event, like Clinton recently got divorced or somebody, nobody asked questions about that. It's not like that sort of, like you don't really get into that. It's like reminiscing old stories,
Starting point is 00:12:16 having some beers, ordering some sort of food. and then you might I know actually after that do you do you watch a movie together no god no movies what do you do sometimes that ends up with nudity doesn't it
Starting point is 00:12:31 yeah somebody get dead to do something someone gets nude quite often I think every year we go to the fishing weekend someone's nude in the lake and we're all laughing because somebody gets dared to do something stupid and then
Starting point is 00:12:43 do you go to bed and watch some porn I don't know what a boy's Come on, Blaz is all gone waved. All right, well, it's 2 a.m. I guess we should all just go do the thing we'll do. He thinks we do. All separate rooms.
Starting point is 00:12:56 We're like, right, guys, ready? We'll all play at the same time. And three. Remember it's a race. I don't know. No, no, that doesn't happen. Normally it'd be the only time you'd ever smoke a cigar. Yeah, oh, yeah, cigar's always there.
Starting point is 00:13:10 And you bring out whiskey, and even though you desperately, most of us definitely want to mix it with L&P. We don't because that's not cool. Okay, so far it's just drinking. reminiscing and some dears. What else happens? What, Carl? Hors.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Pardon? Oars? Do you say, Roe? No, rowing. No, he said whores. No, he wouldn't have said that. No, he would never have said that. So, okay, so have I got this correct? The boy's trip is, you go in, you start to drink and eat some chips and dip or something.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Yeah, nothing that's really good for you. We actually cook, we never order anything. We all bond over like the cooking of the food. Is that normal, Clint? Yeah, yeah, like around the barbecue. Oh, barbecue, barbecue. Yeah, yeah. Barbecue, beers, chips and dip.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Barbecue beers and bitches. Yeah. The same stories over and over and over. Somebody gets dared to do something stupid. That's late in the evening. Which will then become something for next year to reminisce on. So we might bring out old-ass fireworks. It would be pretty dodgy.
Starting point is 00:14:13 You would fit at the fishing weekend. Oh my God. So what do you do? You just look at the. and then you just let them off. Prodice a car. Yeah, sometimes there's also a game, like a poker. Poker or something like that?
Starting point is 00:14:25 You're all around to play poker. Is it card games or poker? No, but generally poker. And I'll tell you what definitely happens. There's usually a brazier with a fire and we're chucking anything in it. Yeah. So quite often, you know, like we're getting qubits from the next door.
Starting point is 00:14:41 We're flipping them in. We're throwing in empty bottles of beer. A old mate's whole suitcase, that's in there. Yeah, yeah. Pairs of undies. And then we'll stand in one of them. the guys would be like, I can't kind of could jump that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:51 And you'd be like, no, you couldn't jump it. We'd you're like, and then the dudes were like jump it nude and singe their gooch here. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my God, do you know what I love right now? The men listening to this are like dogs with their heads tilting, like hearing the word walkies. They're like, oh yes, fireworks. Oh, somebody does something
Starting point is 00:15:06 stupid where they could light their balls on fire? You know what? If there is fireworks in a brassiere, usually someone lights their pubs on fire. Yeah. This smells terrific. Producer Brady? Yeah. Our boys' weekends involved a lot of guns as well. pretty fun, like shotguns and claybird shooting. Yeah, if you're a Southander, you're going to be careful when you bring the guns out
Starting point is 00:15:24 when everyone's been drinking. You're a city boy, you get a little worried about that. Very different from a girls weekend. Okay, so let's guess what the girls do, Clint. I reckon, so it starts, I reckon about five. They all get there. Well, no, no, no, it starts far early in that. Somebody started a spreadsheet.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Yeah. Okay, so it's quite well organised. Poppy champagne and getting at the shot for Instagram. Yeah. Oh, girls weekend. engaged. Usually the spreadsheet starts it out where somebody is organized who's bringing what
Starting point is 00:15:52 so you have to like then you find out like okay Meg's on the platters so and so there will be one person that's organized that does this. I reckon you're all in your pyjamas by like 4pm. Sometimes depends where it is. We've hired in Airbnb and we've got the spread, we've got the food. As soon as you get
Starting point is 00:16:08 there you get your room. Someone's put together a platter. Somebody's popping a champagne and somebody and the platter grazing board starts. It's already done. It's like 47 minutes to take a boom. meringue like yeah yeah you take a photo try and take some photos to get a different lighting yeah and the grazing platter would be incredible girls are really good there's so much food yeah you're making cocktails of some sort and then you're outside and you start to drink have grazing platters
Starting point is 00:16:32 and our conversations are the same we kind of reminisce or we talk um we probably yeah talk about partners or you talk about like somebody did get divorced and you go into that and then you find them on instagram then you see who they're dating now and you talk about like that you see who they're dating and you go through it together like that. And one of the naughty girls that you don't, not everyone knows as well, because she's kind of like one of the other friends of a friend who joined the group only a couple years ago, brings some naughty stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:56 And then they're like, oh, bloody, Sophie, ended up bringing some naughty stuff. And the good girls are like, no, no, I don't do that. I don't do that. What do you mean? I honestly don't even know what you mean. You know what? There's usually one, like she's brought like naughty handcuffs or something.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Yeah, like what do you mean? And then they start hook it up. Like guns? No, never mind. No. It's not my... I'm not going to stay up to three or four in the morning for girls' weekend. I'm like...
Starting point is 00:17:23 We're like, have a few drinks. We have some food and then like we'll watch a movie or we'll like put on some really good music and sing really loudly and off key to it. Then you've got to bed. You know who there's always a girl that peaks early though that has a bit too much of the wine, the Linnadale. And she's usually called Emma.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Yeah, Emma's got to be... Nine p.m. Yeah, she starts crying because her husband and she's not happy with her life. Does that happen? Yeah, yeah. Normally Emma gets put to bed and then that person comes downstairs
Starting point is 00:17:47 after putting Emma to bed there and they're like, oh, she's fucked. Yeah, she's out for the night. Not before she's told her tragic entire last six months to everybody and then the next day no one talks about it like it didn't happen. But Emma comes downstairs and she goes,
Starting point is 00:18:01 oh guys, was I embarrassed? And everyone goes, no! Bullshit. No! But Adam does need to pull his weight around your house. Oh, he sounds like a sack of shit. Thanks, team. We catch you next time. Overthinkers
