Hey, the folks. Welcome to the program. I've been away. Where have I been? Well, I guess I'll just have to tell you because you could probably find out.
But today is Friday 29th. I have been, Chris Heim's, you've been with me part of this journey.
I was. I felt like I was your tonto to your lone ranger. I thought we were out there on the prairie. I was silent, but I was watching.
kept my eyes on the horizon looking for threats of wildlife that might want to eat us.
Well, there you go. If people follow on Instagram, they know where I've been.
I don't know that I posted about it on X. I can't remember.
But I guess I'll start with the fact that I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
You don't have to even say New Mexico. I was in Albuquerque. There's no other Albuquerque.
I was in Albuquerque speaking. It was my first.
the first time of what looks like to be many times of speaking in churches talking about the themes
of my new book on the American Revolution titled Revolution, the birth of the greatest nation
in history of the world. That book, by the way, comes out officially on Tuesday. If you haven't
ordered it, I will just continue to pester. I will pester you until you order it. I feel it's
important. But I also feel like it's a fun, happy, wonderful story that every single,
single American should know. And I'll say it if you're going to get one, if you're looking for
Father's Day gift, buy it now because the first week is so important. It really, I can't even
tell you. It's like a like a film, you know, the opening weekend. It makes a big difference on
bookstore orders and all that stuff. So please order it immediately if you haven't. I'm sorry to
pester you. And yet I'm not at all sorry. And yet I'm sorry. And yet not. But
So before we get to the crazy part, so first I was in Albuquerque and Suzanne was with me and I was in Skip Heitzig's church in Albuquerque where I've spoken many times.
And I spoke for the first time in front of a large group about my book on The Revolution.
It was kind of amazing. We managed, even though the book is not officially out until Tuesday, we managed to get copies sent so that I signed.
find 500 books. We sold, we actually sold out of the 500 books. That's amazing to me, but I signed a lot
of books. And everybody in line, not everybody, but a lot of people say, like, is your hand cramping up?
Are you tired of signing books? And I always have the same answer. No, I'm not. It's such a joy for me
to meet people who want to buy my book, who want me to sign the book. Like, come on, I am really
honored by that. And I feel like if my hand were to fall off, I would still keep signing
books. It's such a joy to meet folks. And so that was Albuquerque. And I flew from Albuquerque. Did I go home? No. No.
No. Funny that you ask, because I didn't go home. I got on a plane in Albuquerque and I flew to
Denver. And then in Denver, I had a bad experience with Smashburger. Not as bad as it sounds.
But we can talk about that. Chris, I got to tell you about that if I didn't already tell you about that.
Yeah, you told me it was more like a cash burger, right?
It was like overpriced and...
It's...
Well, here's the thing.
Everything's becoming increasingly automated, which I despise.
So you have to go to a kiosk in the Denver airport.
You order...
I just wanted a burger to eat something before I fly to, you know, Montana.
We went to Yellowstone, and we'll talk about that in a minute.
That was amazing.
But so I just wanted something, so I thought, okay, smash
burger. So I ordered at the kiosk. It's ridiculously priced.
And then they have the nerve. Folks, are you listening? They have the nerve when you're
paying to ask, would you like to tip 18%, 20% or 25% for someone to hand you a bag containing
a burger? Never tip the cashier. Write that down. Get it tattooed. Never tip the cashier. And if the
cashier is automated,
punch the cashier,
because it's a machine and it doesn't
feel the punch. Well, the
sting was, you said they gave you
the burger and then all the things
inside were not in the burger. You had
to assemble it yourself. So it's sort of
like giving you a model kit.
It's like here. That's the second
part of the horror. But the first horror is that it's
automated and they're to ask
you, do you want to tip
I mean, I don't care if it's a human being
taking the order? No, I don't want to tip
you're a cashier, you should be paid. I'll tip a waiter or a waitress, obviously. But when cashiers,
this is like everywhere you go now, the cashier, it's like, would you like to pay 18% 20%?
For you to hand me my coffee? Excuse me, I don't think so. Let me say it again. No.
No. I'm just amazed. I just want to affirm all of you. If you're offended by being asked to
tip, like I don't know, this is like the creeping socialism.
that, yeah, the big bad corporation can't afford to pay the person as much,
so you need to tip them 20% for handing you your coffee.
It's just insane.
So then I get the burger, and I go off to some little area in the Denver airport,
and I open it up, and this burger, you have to put the smash burger sauce on it.
They give you a little container, you get for the ketchup on it,
The pickle, the onions, the tomato, the lettuce, they haven't put it on for you.
They got it in a little bag so you can do that yourself.
And by the way, you're not tipping you to do that.
So insane.
So Smash Burger, you're dead to me.
Thank you very much, but you're dead to me.
Okay.
So I flew from Denver after I downed my burger, after I choked it down.
I flew to
Montana where I met you, Chris, and Seth Ward
the next day we drove to Yellowstone
National Park. What an amazing... I'd never been to Yellowstone, folks.
I know many of you have been there. I've never been there in my life.
And we filmed for the Is Atheism Dead TV series. We're making the series.
The first episode is done. We funded the other two episodes. We're now filming them.
And we went to Yellowstone. And the main reason we went to
Yellowstone. I'll get to that in a minute. But actually, let me say, coming up on this program
in hour two, no, not an hour two, I'm starting in the second half of today's show. I'm talking to Vance
Day, who has made a documentary film about the commission, the President Trump created a commission
to go after anti-Christian bias in our government. I don't even know.
we'll be talking to him about that.
I've seen the film.
I'm in the film, and it's powerful stuff.
So we'll be talking to him in the second half of the show.
But just to continue the sad story, the sad story, no, this is a happy story.
So I'm in, we're at Yellowstone, and so we're driving, and we are heading to what's it called the grand prismatic spring.
Prismatic spring.
And the backdrop of this episode is the origin.
of life and sort of what science, popular science is suggested, you know, is where we came from.
Right. So popular science has suggested that life miraculously popped up. Didn't evolve. It just
kind of appears and then it evolves. Once it's life, then it evolves. But before it evolves, it just, boom,
non-life becomes life. And you say, how did that happen? And they say, uh, we think it happened
over here. And you're like, no, not where, how. We don't want to talk about that.
But it happened over here in these thermal springs, like in Yellowstone.
So we thought, let's visit the thermal springs.
So that's where we're going with this.
But on the way to these amazing thermal springs where life, correct me from wrong, did not pop into existence ever and is still not popping into existence because that's insane and impossible.
But on our way there, we saw some bison, some buffalo, and we had to pull over.
It was just too crazy.
It was a beautiful kind of picturesque event.
There was a stream.
It was like you couldn't not stop.
You could not stop.
And I jumped out of the car with my phone and I approached the Buffalo.
And, you know, we have to get them to sign a release and stuff.
And that's complicated because they can barely hold a pen.
But so we just skipped it.
But I went up to the Buffalo and I had my camera on, you know,
three times enlargement.
So it looks like I'm,
I could touch the buffalo,
but in fact,
I was just far enough
to be foolishly close.
And I know that they're dangerous,
but I'm very fast.
And people say,
Eric,
nobody's that fast.
Oh,
I am.
I am that.
It would have been a good race.
And unfortunately,
it didn't happen,
but you might go back to,
you know,
shall have done.
All I can say is there were three buffalo
in the,
in the water.
And I approached
them and I was very polite, but they don't even understand English. It's very complicated.
But I knew that there were some trees right next to me and then there's the road and some cars
so that if they decided to charge me, I had options. So it looks dangerous on the video if you
watch the Instagram video. But in fact, I was cannily aware of the situation. But it was so
beautiful to see these creatures. And they got spooked by me and they just charge across the river
like sprinting. They are powerful beasts. And they charge across over and up this hill,
sprinting up a hill, these monster creatures sprinting up a hill. They're so powerful, so beautiful.
It was just a glorious moment. We'll be right back. I'm going to tell you more about old faithful
and all kinds of other beautiful things. Yellowstone. We'll be right back.
How much are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness worth to you? That is the question
America's founders had to answer. You see, for more than 150 years, America's 13 colonies
governed themselves until Britain declared that they had no right to self-rule. So ordinary
people had to make extraordinary choices and risk their lives, their fortunes, and their
sacred honor to fight for independence. And against all odds they, they,
day one. And in victory, they built one of the most stable and lasting republics in history.
Now experience the American Revolution like never before thanks to our friends at Hillsdale College.
Revolutionary America, a new documentary from Hillsdale Studios narrated by Tom Selleck brings
the founding of our nation to life through the voices of those who lived it alongside insights from

Welcome back, folks.
It's Friday.
This is the weekend.
My book comes out officially on Tuesday.
We've got a big event in New York City on Tuesday night.
If you want to come, George Washington's going to be there.
And I'm not kidding, really.
It's kind of crazy.
So if you know.
It's going to be a really fun party.
I mean,
your book's coming out.
You've done all this work.
So it'll be your opportunity to let off some steam.
I'm bringing my personal hatchet from home to have George Washington sign.
Yeah,
excited about that.
You know you had a personal hatchet.
I thought you just had a-
I have four daughters.
So you're darned Tutin,
I have one.
Yes.
And a shotgun and a bucket.
And you know how to use them.
All right.
So,
so that's two.
Tuesday is the official launch. I'm doing a lot of media, you know, in the run-up to this because the
first week is by far the most important. And so I will, I'll say this until your ears fall
off in hearing it, that if you haven't ordered a copy of the book, please, please do it.
If you're thinking of getting one for Father's Day, I can't think of a better Father's Day gift.
Honestly, it's a rollicking gallop through the story of America coming into being.
People have told me, I'm thrilled to say people have told me that they can't put it down.
It's a great read.
That was, of course, my hope, but you never know until people say this to you.
So the feedback has been spectacular.
And I thank God because in the writing of it, I just had no idea.
It's because there's so much information.
And I always want to tell it in a fun way or an interesting way.
and I hope I have done that.
But if you haven't bought it, please do.
If you're thinking about getting one for Father's Day, please buy it now.
Please, it makes a difference.
And the best way is to go to my website, Eric Metaxus.com.
All the options are there.
But I can say, and Chris, it is a beautiful book.
I mean, that's the other thing is I thought, this is going to be a gorgeous book.
I want it to be a gorgeous book.
It is a gorgeous book.
I'm holding it here.
It's got, you know, full color photos.
And, oh, man, it's just, I'm so, I'm happy.
It's a showstopper.
See, I'm a guy.
I like to read books, you know, 30 years ago.
Now I've kind of moved on to the, let's look for nice pictures.
And I really like how all the pictures you put in there, no joke.
And actually, some of the stories, but no jokes, some of the stories are insane.
Frank enters the cockpit.
Oh, my gosh.
that, I mean, there are many stories like that in there.
When I find a story like that, I say, I got to put it in the book.
Like, I've just got to put it in the book.
That story, it's, I didn't know it.
And so doing all my research, I'd bump into it.
And I thought, I've never heard this.
This is crazy.
What happens to Franklin, Benjamin Franklin, in London, in 1774.
Whoa, it's a, it's a crazy story.
And it's what really makes him say, okay, I've had it.
I am for independence.
I am an American patriot.
I'm no longer going to be playing this game.
But I mean, anyway, there are a lot of stories like that, so I'm excited about it.
But I've written the book, I want to say this.
I need to say this over and over.
This is not a Christian book.
This is just a history book, and it's a very popular level book.
So it's a book anyone can read.
It's not difficult.
The reason I wrote it is because there are a lot of scholarly books that you're just not
going to read.
I mean, I read them as I'm doing research, but it's not the kind of book you'd give
somebody for Father's Day.
we needed something like that
and I looked around and looked around
and there really isn't any
I mean in fact there definitely isn't any
and so I thought I want to write that book
to tell the story so that's what this is and I'm excited
about it it officially comes out Tuesday
I will ask you again again
to buy a copy as soon as possible
because it makes a big difference
and I mentioned we were talking about
Yellowstone so
yeah I got some bad news in the last segment
you were talking about how close you got to the
bison and i just got a letter from their attorneys this morning they've filed a restraining order
they want you to keep at least 50 yards distance at all times you know even the bison are getting
touchy like what's what's going on with people bison uh man that's crazy well so yeah so then we went
to together we went to old faithful i mean we went to the grand prismatic spring and we filmed
and it is you know people overuse and misuse words like serenial
The grand prismatic spring is surreal.
You really don't believe you're looking at this.
Like this can't be real.
Oh, it's real.
But it just seems surreal.
The colors, you really feel like you're on another planet.
It's absolutely the most bizarre landscape.
It's hard to believe that this really exists, but of course it does.
We went to this place.
I forgot the name of it, Chris, but it's near there.
It's like this bubbling mud.
Yeah.
Painted pots, I believe it's called.
It's like bubbling mud.
It's a little calder in there.
And the mud, it's like, I mean, you can't even explain it.
It's like the mud, the rhythm of the mud going, blue, blue, boo, was, it was boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
This is the mud.
And it's coming out from the bubbling.
We'll be right back to explain that whole story.
Some of you know that we are right now doing a campaign to free, slay,
literally. This is a big deal. I see it as a great opportunity for people who believe in truth
and justice to be able to act on those values. And Todd, we're just always grateful when you can
come on and give us a little more explanation of what it is we're talking about. These women,
they've been enslaved in Sudan since the 1990s. And CSI, in partnership with Eric Metaxus,
thanks to your generosity, has been able to free literally tens of thousands of thousands of
thousands of those individuals and bring them back into a new life of freedom.
So we're so excited to be here and invite you to help us free even more slaves this month.
I guess the way I see it, Todd, is this is faith in action.
Again, the easy way to do it is go to Eric Metaxus.com.
The banner comes up.
All the details are there.
I beg you, folks, please participate and thank you.
Folks, welcome back.
Before we get to Vance Day, talking about the film by Dawn's Early Light,
we have to go back to finish the crazy story.
So yes, my book is coming out,
but last week we were at Yellowstone.
And at Yellowstone, there's this place called the what,
the painted pots?
What is it?
Yeah, the painted fountain pots.
It's like mud.
It's like a mud volcano.
Yeah.
It's like the mud, it's making this sound,
but it has a rhythm that as I'm listening to this,
I thought, is this like a dream?
It's like, boom, boom, boom, boom, bum, boom, bum, boom.
boom boom boom and i thought is this going to change it doesn't change it's like that's the rhythm
and it's just like that queen's song you know uh we will rock you oh we will rock you boom boom boom boom
it was i mean i'm not making this up i think i got it on video but it was like it's wild it was
like there was a subterranean soccer match going on or a football match in the crowd of you know
mud creatures were doing the champ it was it's it's wild it's it's it's
It's some kind of, you know, hamster wheel of geothermal.
It's unbelievable and beautiful.
And then we went to see Old Faithful and not to be confused with Old Yeller, which is a dog.
Old Faithful is a geyser that every 80 minutes or so, I mean, again, this is like kind of thing like,
it doesn't seem possible.
It seems like a made up thing, but it's real.
This is like God's creation.
It's just something so crazy that there's this steaming geyser and nothing much is going on.
But then every, I don't know, 80 minutes or so, it just explodes.
And it goes, it just, it's a geyser that goes so high and it's so impressive and so amazing.
And you feel like this is a fountain.
People have designed this.
No, no, people have not designed this.
This is just a natural phenomenon.
And it is a wild, beautiful natural phenomenon.
It's just amazing.
So we were thrilled to be there.
And it was so amazing that an entire small province of China had emptied itself and crossed the Pacific to visit the park while we were there.
Actually, there were lots and a lot of many, many Chinese tourists, which actually is a good thing.
It's a good thing.
They should see our country.
Yeah, as long as they don't think they're going to buy Yellowstone because it's not for sale.
But okay, so here's the thing.
Before we go to our guest, two things.
we have extended our campaign with CSI through next week,
which means if you have not yet participated to free a slave,
it doesn't matter what you give folks, $10, $100, like, it doesn't matter,
but participation is mandatory, okay?
It's the law.
So you have to go to eirchamtaxas.com.
You'll see the banner.
This is an outrageous opportunity, a beautiful opportunity.
We exhort you to avail yourself of this opportunity to join
us with CSI. It's just a beautiful, it's just a beautiful thing. And I want to say, please,
please, uh, don't, don't forget about it. Like go to Eric Mataxis.com and you'll see it there,
um, and, and, and, and Chris, I guess I want to tell people, um, also, I'm going to be traveling
like a lunatic. And I wanted to, I was just looking at it. And I thought to myself, next week. So this,
Next week I'll be in the city doing tons of promotion for the Revolution book.
And we've got our big event Tuesday night, Socrates and City.
If you know anybody in the city wants to come to that, it's going to be a great event.
Believe me, some really exciting people joining us.
But I fly on Friday to Houston.
I'm speaking at a church in Houston on Sunday.
I'm going to be doing a podcast with Chad Robes Show.
Then I fly to Orlando.
I'm speaking in Orlando, midday on Monday, June 8th.
I'm then flying to Phoenix, Arizona, speaking at Mark Driscoll's Church, Trinity Church.
That's Tuesday, June 9th.
I then fly to Denver.
I'm speaking at a Colorado Springs luncheon on Thursday, the 11th.
I then fly to Idaho Falls, Idaho.
And I'm speaking at a pastor's lunch, or rather a family form.
evening, I think.
We have to, I guess we have to get the clarified,
but I know I'm going to be in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
And from Idaho Falls, Idaho, I then fly to Orange County,
Southern California to speak at Greg Lurie's Church.
That will be on the 14th, Sunday the 14th.
I then come home briefly, very briefly.
And then I get on another plane.
I go to Spokane, Washington.
I'm speaking at a big event.
in actually in in the middle of Washington about two hours from Spokane.
I then go to a wedding in Colorado and then I go to London for the Ark.
I mean, this is madness, but it's all on my website.
Please go to ericmetaxis.com.
While you're there, you can buy my book.
While you're there, you can get involved in freeing a slave.
What an honor.
Please check it out.
We'll be right back with my guest, Vance.
Day.
Hey, the folks, welcome back.
As I think I just told you, my guest right now, this is an impressive get for us.
Vance Day is my guest.
You say, oh, who's Vance Day?
Well, let me tell you.
He's the senior counsel to somebody that I like to call the acting attorney general of the United States of America, Todd Blanche.
And Vance is coming on here to talk about a film in which I, your humble correspondent,
and prominently featured.
The film is coming out Sunday, I guess.
Van's Day, welcome and congratulations on the film.
Thank you.
Well, thank you, Eric.
It's been a long time coming to pass.
It really is the first time in our nation's history
that a video report, a film,
has accompanied a task force report.
So it's kind of a really big deal.
Well, again, this is hard actually to,
explain to people, but it's important.
First of all, let me say to my audience that I'm in the film.
I'm in the film in the beginning,
and you know how I know that, folks?
Because I attended a screening of the film at the Kennedy, Trump, Kennedy,
what's it called?
Trump Kennedy Center.
The Trump Kennedy Center in D.C.
I attended it, and I showed up late,
because we had a Socrates in the city book club,
where I had to, you know, I was the narrator,
whatever, and I raced out of there to the Kennedy Trump Center.
And I know I showed up late because I saw the whole film and I wasn't in it.
And everybody said, oh, you were in the beginning, Eric, you were in the beginning.
I said, darn it, I missed my, I missed my part.
And my part is very exciting.
I'm riding a mini bike through the bad lands.
It's crazy.
And you got to see it.
It's narrated by Tom Selleck.
But the film is called by Dawn's Early Light.
And this is, when you explain this to me, Vance, I thought,
This is extremely innovative.
So say it again, because it's a film, folks.
It's an amazing documentary.
It's very powerful.
And in some of it is disturbing but hopeful that we are addressing this,
that our new Justice Department is addressing the horrors of the last five
where years under Biden.
It's almost a nightmare.
It is a nightmare.
But you're saying it's a report in the form of a documentary.
Say that again.
And so my audience gets that because this is so innovative.
Sure.
The president issued an executive order back in February of last year, 14202.
It created a task force to eradicate anti-Christian bias.
And there have been a lot of task forces in our history.
This one is unique.
And so that task force was, you know, it's supposed to produce three reports.
The second one is almost 500 pages.
And nobody's going to read a 500-page report, Eric.
I mean, geeks like you and I might, but other people really never read a 50-page report.
Let me be honest.
Let me pull in my cards on the table.
I don't read reports.
So that's the problem, but it's very important information.
So, yes.
So that task force decided early on through Pam Bondi and my boss, Todd Blanche, to do a video report.
So it's 90 minutes.
And it's not a bland kind of government film.
It actually is very engaging.
It has a historical thread through it.
And so because I think the thought was from leadership is nobody's going to read the report,
but what you see and what you feel, you won't forget.
And so that's why Vince Haley and the White House and this really good team from the task force put together this film.
I have a journalism background before I became a lawyer and a judge and start.
started working at the Department of Justice.
So I was able to enjoy the process.
I got to interview you and about 46 other people.
And it was a great adventure.
We didn't think it was eventually going to happen,
but it rolled out pretty well.
And I appreciate you coming to the premiere.
That was a really fun event.
Well, I mean, again, we have to be clear here, folks.
This is a film that catalogs beautifully.
The, I don't know what adjective can I use.
Diabolical is the most anodyne version.
A diabolical bias against Christians and Christian faith in the Biden administration.
It's on a level that should be challenging even to believe until you see the film.
Some of us have lived it and I have seen it.
And because I wrote a book on Dietrich Bonhoeffer,
the analog to how the Nazis treated Christians,
the SS, how they tried to push Christianity out very aggressively,
in some ways very subtly and then aggressively,
but it is diabolical.
It is stunning that that happened in the United States of America.
Anybody that kind of things like,
oh, I think everything's fine.
and, you know, I don't know, it doesn't really matter if I vote
and everything will be okay.
You're an idiot.
And let me say it politely.
You're an idiot because you have participated
by allowing these wicked forces to do this,
by not voting, you have harmed your fellow Americans.
You've hurt people by not being involved in the process.
And this film, in case you need to know how bad it is,
I mean, I sat there in the theater.
I myself was astonished.
I mean, honestly, Vance,
what they did, you almost, I guess you have to ask the question, you can't really get an answer,
but who would do this? What forces in our own government would do some of the stuff in the film?
It just takes your breath away that you're thinking this isn't made up. This isn't what might happen.
It was actually happening in the United States under the Biden administration. I think we all know
Joe Biden was not the mastermind behind it. He was the, you know, effigy,
that was propped up while really leftist Marxist lunatics who hate this country and everything we stand for,
were running our government and using an auto pen president to allow them to run our government.
It seems unbelievable, but you guys...
It is unbelievable.
What they did is unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
And the fact that the government would not only just have bias, but,
but rank animus.
I mean, it was, it was straightforward.
I mean, you know, you think about grants
that the government, you know,
wanted people to, quote, unquote, you know, apply for.
But no, Christians had to self-de-select
because the government knew that if they put
certain language into grant proposals
and or grant contracts,
that people of faith would say,
well, I can't do that because it violates my faith.
Or the FACE Act,
how the government manipulated the FACE Act
and put pro-life prayerful.
people in jail or debanking Christians because they said the wrong thing or they they went on a
podcast like yours or other people who were, you know, criticizing the government. And then the
banks debank them and the Treasury Department was supporting that. Well, again, we have to be clear
that, you know, it is one thing for somebody to say, like, I don't like your values. It's another
thing for somebody to use the power of the government and your tax.
dollars to persecute you. And so I said before, people who didn't vote or you have people that are just
manifestly ignorant who said, I don't think I can vote for Trump or maybe we should vote for
Kamala Harris or I voted for Biden or I didn't vote. You enabled a diabolical persecution of Christians
because of their Christian faith. And this is open. This is widespread. This is
pro-life people being treated like terrorists, being treated like criminals.
That's what we allowed by allowing the Biden administration, you know, to do what they did.
And it is, again, I know there are many Americans that they just don't care, they shrug,
but I know that the folks who listen to this program do care.
And they have to understand how bad it is.
And it really is, we have to say it again and again, it's almost unbelievable, folks.
I mean, because I wrote my book on Bonhoeffer, I see how the Nazis did this in a Christian culture.
Germany was very Christian.
The Nazis said, well, you know, we've got a problem.
We've got as much of a problem with Christianity as the Soviets have with Christianity or the Chinese communist.
We don't like it because if you believe in the God of the Bible, you're not going to bow to the state.
That's what the Biden administration, and we may as well go backwards and say the Obama administration,
they are threatened by Christians and Christian values.
So they come after them.
That's what big state does all the time.
But to get chapter and verse in this film,
I got to tell you, Vance,
it is a breathtaking thing that you've done.
I mean, I sat there in the theater and I really,
even though I know a lot about this,
I almost couldn't believe what was in the film.
Well, and it, because of how the government
kind of buried what they were doing,
I mean, some of it was open and notorious, frankly.
But a lot of it was kind of second or third step.
So you could, as a Christian, you could be involved in something.
And you wouldn't know that the government behind the curtain was really, you know, plotting against you.
And that people within the government were, they'd lure you down a path.
Sure.
Go ahead.
Apply for this grant.
It's open to everybody.
But, oh, you can't give kids lunches if you don't give up your faith statement.
because you've got to do DEI and you have to do OBGDQ.
Right. I mean, that happened again and again and again, even foster parents who are loving kids and wanting to, you know, take people who have great need.
No, no, you've got to sign this thing that you'll take them to pride parades and therefore they have to self-de-select.
And that's what happens when people of faith are not involved in discharging their duties.
We got liberties. You know that, Eric, obviously.
We're going to go to a break here.
So how can people see the film?
You can go to www.
Bydawn's Earlylightfilm.com.
It's five words.
By dawn's early light film.com.
Folks, check it out.
By dawn's early light, we'll be right back.
Folks, before we go, I want to recommend to you
in case you want to do something crazy and beautiful,
we are doing another campaign with our friends at CSI.
These folks are heroes.
If you want to free a slave, literally, this is what CSI does.
Every $250 sets one captive free and puts them into a life of freedom, sets them up.
This is important.
Help us do this.
Go to ericmetaxis.com.

Couldn't be easier.
Please go to ericmetaxis.com.

Very important.
Welcome back, folks.
I'm talking to Vans Day, who,
has made this extraordinary documentary.
I have the privilege of being in it.
It is narrated by Tom Selleck.
And you can't tell by his narration
whether he's got the mustache or not.
I want to be up front about that.
You can't see Tom Selleck.
But the film is called by Dawn's Early Light.
And it is unfortunately very important.
Very, very important.
So Vance Day, again, congratulations on the film.
You were just talking about how,
under the Biden administration, and folks,
you're responsible for this, this is important,
they aggressively targeted people with Christian values.
And if we need to know whether DEI is diabolical,
that's what they used.
In other words, they said, okay,
if you don't believe in DEI, whatever DEI means,
if you're not pro-trans or, you know,
pro-choice, pro-abortion, or whatever,
we're going to filter you out.
Now, what that is, Vance,
and you know this, that is called an establishment of a religion.
They're basically saying that those religions we don't like, this view we do like, we're going to push this view.
That is our own government trying to wiggle around the establishment clause and to impose a worldview, which is anti-biblical, but they're doing it in this tricky way of saying, oh, it's DEI, it's about inclusion.
We see that it's about excluding people with biblical values.
So whether you're a Jew or a Christian or even a Muslim who says, I think marriage is between man and a woman, they're going to come after you just as the Chinese communist will go after the Uighur Muslims or the Christians or whatever.
If you believe in God, you're a threat to the government that has a Marxist, leftist, leaning.
And again, it happened in our time and you've created this report, but you've made this wonderful film by Dawn's.
early light. Let me ask you again how people can see it because I want to be clear about,
is it in theaters or do they have to see it online? How can they see it?
Well, it's a government product. So it's now being pushed out this Sunday, the 31st of May.
And frankly, Salem Media and various other outlets are showing it for free. So you can go to
Salem Media, for example, and see it free all summer. And what we're encouraging people to do
is to see it in your home, get your church to show it, your organization, whatever it may be.
Our goal over the summer is about 50,000 venues.
And the venue is, again, your home with people seeing it.
If more people see this film, it'll educate you, it'll help you understand.
And frankly, it'll empower you to take action.
And so you can go to www, and then it's just five words by dawn's early light film.com.
No apostrophe before the S.
by dawn's early light film.com.
And you can just sign up, you get it free,
and you can watch it.
And if I can disabuse you with one false presupposition, Eric,
there's no eye and team.
So this was the task force.
I mean, I had a role in it,
so don't give me too much credit, my friend.
Vince Haley was the producer,
and he's the director of the Domestic Policy Council
over at the White House.
And I just got to do the internet
interviews and have fun in that way. Well, Vince Haley is a hero. I have to say, I've gotten to know him as a member of the president's commission on religious liberty. But, you know, Vance Day, I got to say that it is a chilling thing to think that if President Trump had gotten, had not gotten in, it's over for America. Folks, there's no hyperbole in what I'm saying. And people, and people,
need to understand this that we've been in an existential crisis. It wasn't like, oh, yeah,
everything's fine and somebody will get in and then four years later we can get at, at some point,
you can destroy the thing and you'll never come back. We were at that point under the Biden
administration. They were aggressively dismantling our liberties in such a way that you will
never have the mechanism to get those liberties back. I want to be very clear that that is,
that is a fact. And if you see the film, you'll see it clearly. So it's by dawn's early light
film.com. By dawn's early light film.com. I was really just mesmerized and horrified and then
grateful to God that we've had a president who says we need to go after anti-Christian bias. And again,
if you don't know who to vote for, oh my gosh, do we think the Biden administration would go after
anti-Christian bias. No, they were
creating anti-Christian bias so aggressively
that it really does, it takes your breath away.
It takes your breath away. We're going to go to another
break, final segment with Vance Day,
who's a senior counsel
at the, under Todd Blanche,
who is our acting attorney general.
It's an important film again. You can see it by
Dawn's Earlylightfilm.com.
Check it out.
You can see it in your church.
I hope you will by dawn's early light film.com.
Welcome back.
I'm talking to Vance Day.
The film is by Dawn's Early Light.
You can find it at by dawn's early light film.com.
Vance, what can we talk about in our remaining moments?
Well, I think one thing to understand is it's really important is there's been a paradigm shift in the last hundred years,
moving from a biblical worldview to a socialist, Marxist worldview.
You've written about that, Eric.
And so when somebody looks at the rule of law and says, well, where does it come from?
Does it come from a creator?
Do our liberties come from a creator?
Or do they come from government?
And there's the root of the problem.
So many people in government today think that our liberties are granted to us by government, and they are not.
So this film attempts to go through a little bit of history, help people understand, and then help them understand, again, how they can discharge their duty to our constitutional republic.
by being involved. If people aren't involved, we lose our republic. And so the rule of law applies to all people
at all times, in all places in the same manner. And when the government steps out of that role and starts to
punish people picking winners and losers, we lose our entire sense of who we are as a people. And our
constitution becomes just a piece of paver. Well, I mean, you think about it, we have drifted so far
that there could be Americans that don't understand that our rights come from God.
In case you need a refresher on that concept, folks, you could read, oh, I don't know,
the Declaration of Independence, or you can read my new book, Revolution, because the whole
idea of America coming into being was this idea that our rights come from God.
And if you want some kind of a metric on how spoiled we are, that we can live in a country
like this and not know that the only reason we have all that we have is because our rights
come from God and government exists to protect those rights. The idea that we could have Americans
that don't know that, the idea that we could have leaders that don't know that or are hostile
to that idea and are persecuting those who believe our rights come from God. That is the enemy within.
That is King George III in Parliament within fighting us. It's an existential crisis. If we don't know
that, don't fight for that and don't have that, we lose America. And we were on the very
lip of the abyss under the Biden administration. If you don't believe it, watch the film by
Dawn's Early Light. Vance, I mean, really, anybody who sees the film will see pretty clearly
how close we were, we were losing our country at a tremendous speed. It's almost unbelievable.
We'll say it again before we close here. Go to by dawn's early light film.com. Folks,
please check it out by dawn's early light film.com by dawn's early light film.com. Check it out.
Van State, congratulations. God bless you.
Thank you. Folks, before we go for the day, and by the way, by my clock and calendar,
it's Friday the 29th of May, this means that my book is coming out officially Tuesday.
day. This is once again my heartfelt, shameless plea to you. If you have not ordered the book,
I'm asking you, please order the book, please. The opening day of the book, the opening days of the book
are everything in the launch of a book. So if you think you're...
Kind of like when a movie's coming out. You know, opening weekend.
you want to have a big box office number.
Otherwise, people will start saying it's a loser book, right?
Yeah.
Well, it's not just that.
It's just that they will, they won't, it won't be in theaters.
And that's the same with a book.
It won't be carried in stores.
It won't be.
And so if you think you're going to buy it for Father's Day,
please buy it now.
Please, folks.
And again, I think I can't think of a better Father's Day gift
because it's a mainstream, I would say,
fun, very readable retelling of the birth of the nation. It's for everybody. This is not a Christian book.
This is a history book, American history book. So please, please, if you can, please pre-order it today.
Highly appreciated. Also, CSI, we're extending our campaign. If you have not yet participated
in freeing a slave, go to my website, ericmetaxis.com. You'll see all the information there.
This is an amazing opportunity. If you've not yet participated,
this is an opportunity to do something for God, to do something beautiful and almost amazing that we get to do it, to actually participate in freeing slaves.
You imagine this. So we're at a time. But folks, I abjure you. You like that word? A, B, J U.R.E. I abjure you.
Please join us in this. CSI, these guys are heroes. The website, just to use my website, Eric
taxes.com. You will see the information on CSI, all the details, but we want everybody to be involved.
It doesn't matter what you can do. As long as you do something, everybody please pitch in.
God bless you. God bless you as you give. We are very grateful to those of you already have.
