Hey there, folks. I'm coming to you from beautiful downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I can literally see the rapids in the Grand Rapids River in Grand Rapids from where I sit.
And we've got a lot to cover. It's October 1st.
I've got a question for you.
We got a lot to cover here.
Are they actually grand? Would you say they're grand?
I mean, do they fit up?
They're grand enough. They're grand enough.
They were grander before the war, but everything was better before the war.
Okay, so I want to talk, we're going to talk to Rod Martin in a minute about the terrorist who stabbed his co-pilot on the flight to Israel.
You know what happens every day, but we're going to cover it anyway.
Insane story.
So we're going to talk to Rod Martin.
By the way, if you don't know Rod Martin's book, it's called Trump's New World Reorder.
It is published by Odysseus.
books. That is my publishing imprint. I love this book so much. I didn't just write the forward
to it. We are publishing it. It's called Trump's New World Reorder. We'll be discussing that with
Rod Martin in a minute and getting his take on everything that's happening in the world today.
He's the genius who can help us with that. But before that, I have to talk about, this is important,
Vanity Fair, which is, of course, you know, a leftist magazine, no friend of the conservative movement, certainly no friend of the Christian church.
They commissioned an article on Erica Kirk and Turning Point.
Now, here's a strange thing.
I happen to know the young woman who wrote the article.
through a friend, I've gotten to know the young woman who wrote the article.
The young woman's name is Clara Malo, I think.
Here is the headline.
The headline is that if Vanity Fair commissions an article on Erica Kirk and Turning Point,
they're not looking to make Erica Kirk look good or to make Turning Point look good, period.
You know that.
Their readership is dramatically liberal.
the shock is that Clara, who interviewed me for the article
and interviewed a lot of people for the article,
is that exceedingly rare creature in the world today,
she is an actual journalist who wrote an article
that, while I disagree with some of it, predictably,
is nonetheless fundamentally fair.
Ladies and gentlemen, that's a big deal.
to have an article in Vanity Fair magazine
that's actual journalism, that's actually fair.
I might not agree with all of it, and I don't,
but it's actually fair.
It portrays Erica, who is my friend
and who is the widow of my dear friend Charlie,
who in case he didn't hear was murdered.
It portrays her fairly,
and it tells the actual story of what it is like
to go through the hell that Erica Kirk has gone through.
And I have to say, you know,
I will say this.
I say this to my friends.
Like, I'm not interested in your criticisms of a woman whose husband was murdered
who is left with two little children who don't have their father.
I'm not really interested in what you think about how she's grieved.
If you have a lot to say on that, I think you're a sick person.
Because if your husband had been murdered and you have two little kids, who knows how
you're going to react?
So we need to give Erica Kirk grace.
again, because I know her, I bristle.
You know, I'm very loyal friend,
and I was a loyal friend to Charlie,
and so when people criticize, it upsets me.
So, but the article, I think, is fair.
Again, there's some things I don't agree with,
but it's basically fair.
And in some ways, the article is so good,
it's so journalistically well done,
that I got choked up reading it
because of some of the things it says
about what Eric,
has gone through and the kids and I mean I really was I was kind of amazed at that so so people on
the right people like me are inclined to think oh it's a hit piece on TPUSA whatever I don't think I don't
think I don't think it is a hit piece but you have to understand another thing that if you write a fair
article for vanity fair they want to push it to their liberal readers so they're going to market it in
such a way to say the negative things they they posted something on Instagram that was a little
snarky and stuff. But I just thought, you know, we should take it as a win that for some reason
they found an actual journalist, a young woman who wanted to do actual journalism. And you can tell
in the article, and I could even tell in my conversations with her, clearly seriously cares for
Erica. You know, like I find that itself moving, you know, because in the world we live in today,
there is no journalism.
I mean, there's certainly no journalism
on the left.
Certainly no journalism
in places like Vanity Fair
or the Atlantic or the New Yorker.
It's just 100% snark and negative and bias.
And this article was not.
So again, I'll say for the third or fourth time
that there's stuff in it that I didn't agree with.
But I was really amazed
and grateful for the fairness
in this Vanity Fair article.
And so that,
leads me to the very evil person who goes by the name of Candice Owens. She is such a sick person
that it's hard to believe. There's a lot of crazy people out there. There's a lot of self-serving
lunatic people out there. But at the top of the list for sure is Candice Owens. The level of
sickness in that woman, it's actually a little scary. So she, because it's always all about her,
I think was reading the article on the air
and using it to say that she is vindicated,
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Look, she's desperate.
Her whole life is her little podcast
or her big podcast.
This is her whole life, what she says
and people attacking her and her attacking the people who attack.
I mean, it's so sick that we've devolved to this,
that somebody, many of us hoped
would be a hero in the conservative movement,
has turned into a self-seeking,
lunatic of the highest order and that she's trying to use what is basically a decent article
to vindicate herself. It's so sick. So I just say to you, pray for Erica. We cannot imagine
what it is to raise two beautiful children without their daddy who was one of the greatest
human beings I've ever met. Pray for Turning Point. I do not think, I mean, again, this is the
narrative, oh, turning points. I'm not buying it. I'm just, I'm just not buying it. God knew that,
that Charlie would not be there forever. And, uh, turning point has done so much good. They deserve
our gratitude for the rest of our lives. It's, it's quite possible that President Trump
was reelected because of the efforts of turning point. So people should get behind turning point.
People should pray for turning point. People should thank God for turning point instead of, you know,
being critical. Now, again, it's okay to be critical to a point. But when you think what they've
gone through, no one can replace Charlie Kirk, period, end of sentence. So given that, they have to
find a way forward and they're trying to do that. We should support them in that in every way we can.
And again, people like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson have done tremendous damage to the country
to the MAGA movement, to turning point,
they are self-seeking,
unpleasant figures in the culture.
And I just want to say that, you know,
whether you read the article,
it doesn't really matter.
But I think the liberal readership of Vanity Fair,
they will read the article,
and they will not feel snarky toward Erica.
They'll feel love and sympathy for her
because it comes across in the article
that this young woman doing her best
in an impossible situation,
which, God forbid, any of us has to go through anything like what Erica's gone through.
She's doing her best.
She is a serious Christian.
I want to say, Erica Kirk is not sort of Christian.
She is a serious Christian.
When she publicly said that she forgives the man who murdered her husband, that's what God expects of you and of me.
Are you living up to that?
Are you forgiving your enemies?
Are you forgiving the people who have harmed you?
Can you even imagine what it would be like?
That's what God requires of us.
No, Eric, didn't you?
But didn't you hear, Eric?
She only said that because they were unmarked black helicopters hovering over the funeral that had call signs from Uranus, the plaintiffs.
You know what?
I forgot about that.
And the Jews, the Jews blackmailers.
I keep forgetting.
I keep forgetting.
And that's why we have Candace to help us.
Now, Candace is like a pyromaniac.
It's like a serial fire starter.
And she makes tens of millions of dollars a year from her podcast.
I'm sorry, a month, a month, tens of millions of dollars a month from her podcast.
And the only way she can keep making that money is if she starts these fires every day,
criminally, on the air.
It's ugly.
And pretends like she didn't start the fires.
You know, it's...
I'm a simple person, and I say looking at that kind of level of grotesqueness.
It's disturbing.
Of what she has done, twisting her soul into pretzels for money, it is...
It's so ugly. It's so nasty. But I want to say it again. I want to congratulate Vanity Fair and the author of the article Clara Malo. I can't, I don't know how to pronounce it, for actual journalism. Now, again, actual journalism, you're going to disagree with stuff in it. I disagreed with stuff in it. But I have to say, on balance, to find an article like that in Vanity Fair. It shocked me. You're not going to find an article like that in the New York or the New York Times or whatever. They don't believe in trying to be fair.
I have to say that, you know, as much as I disagree with some stuff,
for Vanity Fair, it was a shockingly fair-minded, grounded article, actual journalism.
And I think I just want to say, again, the MAGA movement and TPSA is not fracturing, folks.
Don't, don't believe it.
Listen, anybody like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens and anybody else who have gone against the president into that group,
I can throw Thomas Massey and any other dope.
Nancy Mays to some extent.
I mean, these are crazy people.
You've got to be crazy.
The president was elected by the American people.
He's the guy.
We need to support him.
We can criticize him, but do it respectfully because he has been through hell.
So I just have to say that, you know, the people that want to criticize him or whatever,
think of the options, folks.
The options are Islamic monsters that want to take over the country, communist lunatics that want to take over the country.
So thank you, Candace Sones, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green, for helping those lunatics.
Thank you very much.
All right, we're going to go on now to talk to our friend Rod Martin, unless Chris Himes, you've got something you got to tell us.
I mean, you were talking about journalism and being fair and unbiased.
Can we just, I don't know Rod's going to talk about the terrorist act on the Israeli plane yesterday.
Can we talk about the journalism that came out around that story
where some of the headlines were, it was like a workplace disagreement.
Two pilots had a disagreement in a cockpit.
I mean, it was so dishonest and disgusting.
I mean, we've worked together for a long time side by side.
We've never stabbed each other.
You know what?
I try to stab you once and then I realize as a Christian,
I shouldn't do that.
I remember that.
But the fact of the matter is it rarely happens in the workplace that stabbings occur.
but CNN and all the quote unquote mainstream lunatic media initially portrayed this as, you know, it's not a terrorist.
It's just a workplace altercation.
There's no terrorists.
There's nothing bad about Islam.
You know, they turn women into like dogs and pets and so, but that's just what they do, that you do you and they'll do them and it's fine.
It's perfectly fine.
Yeah, Barbara from accounting and Clyde from HR, we're in the, you do you.
the cockpit. There was some workplace disagreement.
It was a spat.
Yeah, Barbara sneezed and Clint said Allah Akbar instead of, God bless you.
And then there was some light beheadings.
It was a little...
Light beheadings.
Yeah, there's some light beheadings.
Mostly nonviolent beheadings.
That's right.
That's right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So come on.
What are we talking about here, people?
Anyway, all right.
Well, so again, I want to say, and this is a weird thing for me to say congratulations to Vanity Fair.
for publishing an article that again,
I'll say it again.
There's a lot of stuff in that I don't like,
but basically it was fair and honorable to Erica.
And that's a big deal.
If we could have a little more of that,
we'd be fine as a nation.
And the same thing with CBS.
You know, they're putting stuff out to Barry Weiss
that I just want to congratulate them
for at least trying to get it mostly right.
And they'll get some stuff wrong,
but we can live with that.
All right, we're going to be right back
with Rod Martin.
Here he is.
You've often heard me talk about the Golden Triangle of Freedom, that intersection of faith,
virtue, and liberty. And for that triangle to hold, we need access to the truth.
Unfortunately, the Medicare system often feels designed to obscure the truth, leaving millions
on plans that don't actually fit their needs. That's why I want you to know about Chapter.
Chapter is a rare breed in the health care world, a completely independent advisor that puts
your interests first. They help you understand your enrollment options and ensure you're
the benefits you're entitled to without the typical high-pressure sales tactics.
One chapter member, Gary, said he spent countless hours trying to understand it all and was
just left more confused until he called them. Their service is free and has saved seniors an
average of $1,100 per year. If you want to ensure your coverage is based on facts, not marketing,
call chapter at 571-421-1253. That's 571-4-21-125. It's time to find the clarity
you deserve. Okay, folks, as promised, the author of the great new book, Trump's New World Reorder,
write it down, Trump's New World Reorder, and the author, Rod, D. Martin. Rod, welcome back.
Good to be here, and here's the book, which I'm pleased to say was published by Eric Mattaxas,
one of my favorite people. I may have mentioned that. That says a lot,
because it's one thing for me to say, like, oh, I like you, I like the book. Oh, I'll write a forward
to the book. Actually, to publish the book, well, listen, let's get to it. The reason that I care
so much about this and about you, Rod Martin, is that we're in an existential crisis in the country.
We need to know what President Trump is doing. We need to get behind him. We need to support him.
We need to vote in the midterms. We need to get people to vote in the midterms.
And if you need ammunition along these lines, this book, Trump's New World Reorder, is it.
There's tons of stuff in there.
So I want to talk about, you know, the amazing news on the economy.
You've written about that.
I want to talk about today's the 77th anniversary of the birth of a horrible wicked thing
called the Chinese Communist Party or at least Mao's takeover of China.
But before that, we were talking about in other good news, Islamic terrorism,
the stabbing of a pilot on a plane going to Israel, almost unbelievable.
when I was reading about it, I guess yesterday morning, it's the time flies, but I thought, what?
Like, this is, you know, this is next level news.
There's not a lot of next level news.
This is next level news.
So what are your thoughts on that situation?
Well, first, kudos to the people on the plane who acted very much like Flight 93 and, you know,
we're very grateful for heroism wherever it may be found.
Look, you and I grew up with regular hijackings.
That was just an everyday thing.
And, you know, nobody really thought that much of it because normally they were looking for some kind of ransom.
They wanted money or they wanted to, you know, a ticket out of the country or they wanted to make a political point.
They didn't normally kill people.
And so that was just the norm in the 70s and 80s brought to you by the.
the same lovely people that are doing it today,
but they got a little murderous along the way.
Starting with 9-11, all of a sudden a plane isn't a bargaining ship.
It's a missile.
And we haven't had anything like that in quite a while,
but here it comes back.
And that is not a good thing.
I mean, aside from, you know, they wanted to kill these people,
they wanted to, you know, blow up the plane, all that kind of stuff.
The fact that you have a means.
a meaningful threat of getting on an airplane to go see Grandma or go do business
and being hijacked to Havana like people routinely were in the 70s
or to Inteba in the case of the famous L.A.L. Flight in 77 or worse, 9-11,
is not a welcome development.
And it tells you that we've got to get a little more serious in this country,
not about harassing passengers, as we've done for the last 25 years, but about real security.
You will note that L.A.L., which is the Israeli airline, has not had a hijacking since 1977.
There's a reason. They're doing all the real security stuff that we think might violate somebody's rights or something.
They're not violating anybody's rights. They're screening people who are meaning.
threats and they're not squeamish about it because they only have 10 million people and they can't
afford to have 200 of them die. So it is, it's just a different approach. They have done airline
security better. We need to take a new look at that and thank God we have a president who isn't
so politically correct or even woke that he can't have those discussions. They need to have them
quickly. This is this is a real problem. Well, another reason to get out in these midterms and
vote, uh, because there isn't another Donald Trump. This man is just amazing. And when we think
about the left in this country, they're the antithesis. They're not just, you know, shy of his greatness.
They are the antithesis. They, they, they are actively wicked. Um, now the situation on this
flight, it was a fly Dubai flight. They're related to Emirates, which everybody praises
Emirates is so wonderful. They're both good. They were flying from Dubai to Israel. And one of the
pilots was a citizen of Oman, an Omanee, but as my producer, Chris Himes just told me, a native of Mumbai
who lived in Oman. And I guess typically they don't have any.
as pilots on these planes who are not citizens of a nation that has good relations with Israel.
But on this case, they did. And whoops, turned out he wanted to stab the pilot and take the plane down and kill murder hundreds of people.
The fact that by the grace of God, by the grace of God, that horror was averted is, it's miraculous, it's amazing, it's worthy of praising God.
It's an astonishing thing that it turned out well.
It's almost unbelievable that it turned out well.
Now, the other side of that coin is it's neat in a certain way that it was able to happen
because we have had all these Arab countries technically at war with Israel since 1948.
And that's not because the Israelis attacked them.
They attacked Israel.
They have been in a state of war legally in a state of war.
legally in a state of war nonstop for 78 years. And, you know, and that's what was so remarkable.
You and I talked about the Lebanon piece that Trump was able to work out, or yes, Marco Rubio worked out.
You know, this was the first time the Lebanese government ever acknowledged the territorial integrity
or sovereignty of the state of Israel. They have been at war with their neighbors since 48.
this is a big deal. And the UAE has flights to Tel Aviv now because they made peace with Israel,
which is a huge accomplishment by, oh, wait, Donald Trump. Nobody else was ever able to get it done.
And we're starting to have a number of countries that have been in this perpetual state of war.
We always talk about, oh, the Middle East is this way. It's always been this way.
The Middle East hasn't always been this way. Jews used to live all over the Middle East.
there were over a million Jews in various Arab countries.
Very recently, they were forced out.
They were ethnically clenched.
So, you know, this has been the reality and suddenly we're getting to peace.
So it seems like forever from our point of view, because it started before we were born.
But it actually hasn't been this way forever, and it doesn't have to be.
So the fact that there was an Emirates' flight.
or a fly-du-by flight that could be hijacked going to Tel Aviv
is actually part of a bigger macro picture that's really positive.
And praise God, these guys got a handle on these evil, evil, murderous people
who are trying to take over the plane and turn it into a missile.
But the truth is, the Israelis didn't suffer that on an LL flight.
and there's a reason, and we should learn from it, and so should the other airlines in the Middle East.
And we should also say that whenever it looks like folks in the Middle East are being reasonable toward Israel, the Saudis or anybody else, the Muslim radicals want to destroy that.
That's what happened on October 7th a few years ago.
They saw, you know, some of these Arabs, oh, they're being friendly now with Israel.
We can't have that.
We have to destroy that.
And that's why October 7th happened.
And my guess is that's part of why this happened.
They don't want flights to go from Dubai to Israel.
They hate that.
Well, you know, God is on his throne and he's doing some great things.
The fact, again, that this tragedy was averted is astonishing.
I cannot help and see it as miraculous.
Just astonishing.
Absolutely amazing.
Well, there's other good news.
Now, I just want to say to people again, folks, in case he didn't get the memo,
If you like this president, if you love America, I'd like you to get a copy of Trump's New World Reorder
because it'll explain to you part of why you love this president.
It explains what it is that he's doing because he's too savvy to broadcast what he's doing.
He doesn't want his enemies to know.
He likes to keep him guessing.
But it would be nice for you to know and me to know.
And that's why Rod has written this book, Trump's New World Reorder.
You have to get a copy.
I'm not going to stop talking about that.
And I assume you have a copy of my book, Revolution.
You know, these things, these are not optional.
Everybody needs one.
Well, listen, we're at a point in America where it's always going to be a holy remnant.
It's not going to be everybody.
But the good guys, we need to be on the same page.
We need to know why America is worth fighting for, why it's worth fighting to keep the
republic.
We need to know why this president is,
worth supporting. We need to get on the same page. And so I wrote my book for part of that.
You wrote your book for a part of that. It's actually important, folks. It's actually important.
And by the way, if you want to listen to the audiobook, go ahead, listen to the audio book.
People say to me, I didn't read your book. I listened to it on an audiobook. You think that
makes any difference, folks? It's like reading it to your spouse. You both get credit.
Listening to an audio book can be just as great. But anyway, Trump's New World Reorder is.
It is available.
And again, I will not stop pushing it.
It is so important.
It's not like there are three other books like this.
There are none.
So please get a copy of Trump's New World Reorder.
Now, by the way, part of what you tell in the book and you've published it on your
substack, which people should also be following, is what Trump has done with this economy.
Now, think how effective the left has been in the drumbeat of, oh, gas prices are too high.
therefore we will vote in satanic Marxist Islamists, you know, because I don't want to pay an extra dollar at the pump.
I'm going to vote.
I'm going to allow Islamists and Marxist lunatics to take over the government.
Is that a wise move, folks?
No, it's the antithesis of wise.
So the economy, you've written about this, Rod.
Tell us a little bit about what's going on with the economy that we were never going to hear from most of the mainstream media.
Well, first, I'd just like to say that the Democrats have run this playbook before.
People old enough to remember the 92 election know that the Democrats and their media appendages
went to enormous lengths for over a year, claiming that this was the worst economy in 50 years.
Okay, I lived through that period.
I promise you there was literally zero resemblance in 90s.
1992 to 1932. It was just absurd. It was ridiculous. And yet, when you get that constant drumbeat,
that's what lodges in people's head. Oh, my gas is high. There's a meme going around right now
that shows the price of oil and the price of gas in 2008 versus today. And the point of the meme
is that oil was actually not much higher than now at that time,
and gas was the same.
And so if oil is actually down right now and gas is the same,
this is horribly wrong.
Well, they don't adjust for inflation.
Adjusted for inflation in 2008, oil was $230 a barrel,
and gasoline was $6.36.
sense. So, you know, there's no comprehension, but they just lie. They just lie outright. Here's the
truth. And it is the greatest story never told, as Larry Cudlow keeps saying. The greatest story
never told is that the data shows that we now have the lowest poverty rate in America in American
history. Okay, stop, stop. Ladies and gentlemen, did you hear that? That under Trump's administration,
Right now, we have the lowest, I mean, you're not exaggerating, the lowest poverty rate in the history of the country.
What?
How is this possible?
How is it possible that we're not hearing this every day?
This is, this should be big news, correct?
It really should.
Lowest poverty rate ever recorded in the United States.
And wait, there's more because we also at the same time have the highest median income in the history of the United States.
which is just staggering. If you were talking about an average, Elon Musk might be able to drag the average up, it's a median. He doesn't matter. And so this is really what's happening in the country. And there are reasons. First of all, Trump's one big beautiful bill restructured the tax codes such that businesses could afford to invest in expansions and hiring and training. Instead,
of just sending their money to Washington.
Second,
129 regulations have been repealed
by the Trump administration for every one new one.
And the one new ones were actually to repeal the hundred and twenty-nine others.
It's a multi-trillion dollar burden lifted off of the American economy.
Third, you actually eliminated taxes on tips.
You actually eliminated taxes on overtime.
You actually eliminated nearly all taxes on social security benefits.
And I just personally think it's an obscenity that we would ever tax social security benefits.
But here we are.
Thank you, Democrats.
So Trump is fixing things at every end of the scale.
It's good for the rich, yes.
But they aren't buying boats with it.
They're building factories with it.
and they've got to staff those factories with workers, and those wages are going up.
Wages have been outpacing inflation since December, and it's really picking up right now.
So much so that the Atlanta Fed just came in with a target number for the quarter of 5% GDP growth.
That's more than China.
That is more than China when it was actually still, you know, any of those numbers were still true.
It's staggering growth that we were promised could never happen.
Obama told us 1.6% GDP growth was the new normal.
Well, here's the difference, folks.
At 1.6 GDP growth, you take nearly half a century to double the economy.
And what that means is young people have no opportunities.
They've just got to wait for the old people to die before they can inherit these jobs.
It's just sluggish and slow and stultifying.
But the post-war average before Obama was actually 3.4%.
At that rate, you double the economy about every 25 years.
That's how you get all this dynamism where young people have a future.
They can buy a home.
They can support a family on one income, all this kind of stuff.
At 5%, you're getting into the territory where we're,
we actually generate so much tax revenue, even at lower rates, that we start paying off the debt.
This is an extraordinary number. Is it sustainable, you know, at an annual rate forever?
We'll see. I mean, maybe, but it could be. And this is the first administration since Ronald Reagan
that even believes that's possible, much less is trying to achieve it. So this is a really big deal.
this is worth voting for.
And if people are still feeling pain at the pump or anywhere else, folks, seriously,
Rome wasn't built in a deck.
We're seeing the results of the Trump economic policy in just over a year and a half.
Give it a year and it's going to be absolutely unmistakable in the same way the Reagan economy was by 1984.
And Trump's not kidding that if we can't.
keep the house, there's a $5,000 dividend that goes to every American.
Ladies and gentlemen, think about that for a second.
And again, that's one of these things where he's not kidding.
Trump does what he says he's going to do.
He's done stuff like this in the past.
He really wants everyone in America to prosper.
He actually cares about this.
And this is what amazes me because there's some people that don't quite get this.
What a big deal it is to have a president who clearly cares about this.
kind of thing. He clearly wants Americans to be blessed. He clearly wants to clean up the mess that
hasn't been cleaned up for 50 or 80 years on every level. The graffiti in D.C., the fountains in D.C., the
infrastructure or the White House itself. So literally cleaning up Washington, D.C., and then
dealing with all of this macro stuff, the corruption in D.C., the corruption in B.S.C., and then, literally,
government, the disparity, our trade relationships with other nations. He's dealing with all of this.
It's an amazing, it's like daddy's home and the house is not going to fall apart anymore.
Daddy's home and he's taken care of business. He actually cares about this kind of stuff.
He actually cares about what's the house that he's going to leave to his kids and his kids.
He, Trump is everywhere turning his attention, his genius, his energy.
his acumen to these things.
And I have to say that the mainstream media
is so effective at lying about this.
We have allowed, just as we have allowed,
you know, our supply chains,
everything to be taken over by our enemies,
China and so on and so forth.
Similarly, we have allowed over time
the distribution of information
to be in the hands of the enemies of America.
So the fact that CNN, MSNBC,
all these, they're pumping out
the New York Times, negative information,
we've allowed this in a sense.
And so we are now, you know,
having to be aware that most of what you're hearing
is not right.
What you're not hearing, that's the good news.
So, you know, you have to listen to programs like this.
You have to read what Rod Martin's writing.
Now, Rod, we need to touch on the horror of communism
because at the back of everything is communism.
Today, October 1st, 2006, is the 77th anniversary of the beginning of Mao's China in 1949.
You write about that in your substack.
Tell us about that.
Well, and people sometimes don't think these things touch them, but the truth is,
wokeness or critical theory is just a Western expression of Maoism.
And it was on October 1st, 1949, when Mao Zedong was successful in defeating Changkashek's Republic of China, which, by the way, still exists on Taiwan, and establishing the so-called People's Republic of China, because communists have to name everything in Orwellian fashion.
Well, they have certainly been good to their people to the tune of murdering 65 million of them
and continuing to do so. That's not a thing from, oh, well, that was back during the Great League Forward,
or that was during the Cultural Revolution, or that was just when Mao was in. No, Xi Jinping is
carrying out a genocide right now against the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, which is the northwestern most
province of the country, it is horrifying what they're doing. They're destroying all these incredible
historical artifacts in Tibet. They are doing everything they can to ethnically cleanse the rest of
China up to and including genocide, and they are pushing every evil thing in the world,
including here. I mean, look at anything. Look at how our educations,
are structured now in a lot of major universities.
China is paying for that.
Look at the backlash against data centers.
Okay, people have some legitimate complaints there,
and I'm grateful that governors Rhonda Santos
and Greg Abbott and the president
have addressed a lot of those issues.
But the truth is, we didn't have that backlash
five years ago or 30 years ago or 40 years ago
when we were building data centers like crazy just now,
just when the Chinese are in a race with us
for all this talk of foreign election interference,
the Chinese are the grandmasters of it
because it's part of a global
and not a regional communist agenda.
None of that could be happening,
could be happening, not just wouldn't, couldn't.
Had we not made certain mistakes in 1948 and 49
that allowed Mao to win.
And, you know, the Western leftist media still around then, too, not just now,
were all convinced that Mao was the George Washington of China.
Just like later, they were convinced Ho Chi Men was the George Washington of Vietnam.
And Paul Pot, who murdered a third of his country in three years flat,
was the George Washington of Cambodia.
none of those disasters could have happened but for our losing China in 1949.
All of the horror show we've had since springs from there.
And it starts with the 65 million dead in China, not even counting all the forced abortions
under the one-child policy, not even counting a bunch of the Uyghurs right now,
but 65 million Chinese murdered in a very short time.
in China by this government.
And we sold out our ally Changkajek in exactly the same way that we later sold out the
Shah of Iran.
And, you know, it's not our fault that the communists won exactly.
You know, what the Ayatollah did isn't our fault exactly.
But we made it possible under two different Democrat administrations.
You know, first Harry Truman, then.
Jimmy Carter, and in the middle, of course, we made Vietnam immeasurably worse by ordering the assassination
of their Christian president in South Vietnam in 1963, which, you know, DM was murdered,
I believe one month to the day before JFK's assassination. And that wouldn't have happened,
but for JFK saying, sure, go ahead. This is just a horror show.
So no matter how much you like Harry Truman or how much you like JFK or how much you think
Jimmy Carter was a good guy after he left office, doesn't matter.
You elect Democrats and the world goes to hell.
And I mean, literal hell, 65 million dead in China alone, that's pretty hellish.
It's hard for us in the West in America to fathom what I always call the evilness of evil.
It's just we cannot bear it.
It's too awful.
But every now and again, folks, we owe it to the people who are suffering to understand what is happening, why it has happened.
And we have to ask ourselves, what can I do today to repent of it, to restore what we've broken, what we've allowed to break.
and that's why voting in this election is so important.
I really, I know most people don't realize how bad things can get.
They don't seem to, I mean, if you lived in China, if you lived in the Soviet Union,
if you had ever lived in these places, in Cuba, like many people that I know,
you've seen things that are so horrible, you will never make the mistake of sitting on your
rear end when you could have done something for the cause of liberty, for the cause of the United
States of America, you wouldn't do nothing because you've seen how real people suffer and how
wicked it is, and how godless it is. That's at the heart of it all, is a contempt for the
God of the universe. That's what Marxism is. That's at the heart of it all.
And in the case of Islamofascists, contempt for Jesus Christ, contempt for the God of the Bible.
Don't be fooled that Allah is the same as the God of the Bible.
We have to take this seriously.
And things have gotten so bad right now in the country that I just hope that everyone will vote in this election.
We just have less than two minutes, Rod.
Any final thoughts for the day?
Well, I just want to say, this president, however,
improbably, however much it may seem like he's just a chaos monster, however, counterintuitive,
this may seem to people. Everything he's doing links together. They're all pieces in one puzzle,
and everybody's focusing on a piece here and a piece there, and they're not seeing the whole board.
That's what this book is all about. This book is about Donald Trump turning the world right side up.
It has been a skew, upside down even, for decades in countless ways.
And it's getting fixed.
It takes a minute, but it's getting fixed.
And that's not a one president thing.
That's not a one presidential term thing.
That's a multi-generational thing, just like FDR.
The world FDR built is still with us.
And the world Donald Trump is building will still be with us at the end of the century.
It's that kind of epicol change.
That's what we're describing here.
And every bad thing you can point out, from the fall of China to the Cold War to the fall of Iran, all these different things, not to mention years of recessions we didn't need to have.
And all kinds of economic hardship through the decades, all of this stems from the world Roosevelt built.
Trump is building a better world.
it's worth actually appreciating and you've got to take your friends to the polls.
Ladies and gentlemen, you have to know what we're talking about is serious and it's true.
Voting, I don't know what you need to do or what you can do, folks,
but whatever you can do, posting on social media, I'll say it again,
please order Trump's new world reorder.
Now, to pre-order a book makes a big deal for how the book comes out.
So the book's coming down in a couple of weeks.
Every single pre-order matters big time.
So I'm going to push this.
I'm going to beg you.
Trump's New World Reordered by Rod Martin, forward by Eric Metaxis.
It is important that the world knows the truth about what the president is doing.
You can read all about it in that book.
We will leave it there.
Rod and Martin, congratulations on the book.
for being my guest today. Thanks for all you do. Thank you. Appreciate you more than I could ever say.
