Hey folks, this is the Eric Metaxus show, I'm Eric Metaxus. And my guest right now is somebody I feel privileged to call a friend, even though that's not true. He barely knows me. But publicly, who's going to stop me? I'm going to call him friend. He's certainly my brother. And he is the pastor of, you know, one of the greatest churches in America because he's the pastor. And he's pointing people to Jesus.

This is my friend, Pastor Jack Hibbs. Jack, just happy to see you. Eric, when I heard that we were going to have a chance to be together, I could not wait. I love you. I love what you're doing. And I thank you for all the years that we've had a chance to serve the Lord together. Even in the White House, you and I've been. Hey, what about separation of church and state?

Cut that out. We can't have that on. What are you talking about? We can't be political. We're all about the kingdom. We don't care who's. president because we know who the king is. Sorry, folks.

I just had to be sarcastic for a second. Jack, let's start with anti-Semitism. I was, it's frigid in New York and I passed somebody last night in the cold, in the dark, walking a dog. They're walking a dog not near where we live. And the snow has not been correctly dealt with

because we have a Jew-hating communist 33-year-old mayor. And he doesn't, you know, he doesn't do anything. He never had a job. His mommy gave him all of his jobs up till now. And so I said to the guy walking his dog, as we're walking through, like, we can't even walk because there's so much snow. I point to the pile of snow and I say,

did you vote for this mayor? I'm saying to the stranger walking his dog. He goes, no, yeah, I won't vote. vote for him. I won't vote for an anti-Semite, the guy said. And I thought, you know what? This is good. This is very positive that a stranger walking his dog in New York responds with, no, I won't vote for an anti-Semite. And I said, and I won't vote for a communist. God bless you. People know that we're facing something in America right now. It's unprecedented. It's bizarre. Antisemitism is on the rise. and you have been a clear voice on this subject.

So among other things, I want to talk to you about this. So let me ask you, what do you think is behind this right now, the rise of anti-Semitism? Yeah, Eric, because I love the Bible and Bible prophecy very specifically, I like to view the world around me through the worldview lens of scripture and knowing always that we are living in the now. right? So God is with us and we lean upon his Old Testament. We lean upon the New Testament and we're living in the now. The Holy Spirit is here. The same Holy Spirit that came upon David, the same Holy Spirit

that came upon the Church of Pentecost. In other words, God knows the future. And you and I, Eric, and your audience has been placed for such a time as this. That said, on that foundation, I believe this. I believe the bottom line behind anti-Semitism is none other than a demonic spirit rising that is stirring up this Jew hatred in correlation with a very unexplainable, rather dark miraculous, if I can put it that way, where the globe, the globe, people all over the globe are becoming anti-Semitic. And when you put the microphone in their face, Eric, and ask them, why are you anti-Semitic? They don't even know. They just know that they are. This is something that is, in my opinion, a sign of the times. This is something that is, I believe, God moving chess pieces

on the prophetic time board to set up the last day's events because it would be, it would be one thing where the Jews and Israel are going around bombing countries all over the world and just being, you know, well, kind of just almost Islamic-like, terrorist type of stuff. That's not the case. The Jews want to be left alone. They want to continue to win Nobel Prizes. They want to continue to have one of the greatest economies on Earth. And they want to continue to produce fruit and wine to the world.

and they just want to be left alone, but they live in a neighborhood that is anti-Semitic. Neighborhood meaning the countries around want them destroyed. Why is that? Well, we know that when Ezekiel wrote about that, we know something that Ezekiel didn't know. And we know that those nations that are mentioned in Ezekiel 38 regarding the future attack on Israel, they're all Muslim nations today. A very interesting dynamic is going on. Islam is the tip of the spear in our modern era of anti-Semitism.

Oh, there's no doubt about that. I mean, that's, you know, it's kind of funny because you don't need to be that bright or that educated. You just have to say like, okay, why does everybody hate the Jews? Why have people tried to wipe the Jews out? What is going on there? And if you look at it, you'd say, this doesn't make rational sense. There's something spiritual here. why would Hitler want to wipe out every person who has Jewish blood?

Why would that be? And if you believe in good and evil, if you're not an idiot, you'd say, yeah, this is clearly because God has his hand on the Jews. Now that's complicated. You need to believe in Jesus for salvation and on and on and on. But clearly, if everybody wants to wipe them out, if all these radical Muslims want to wipe out Israel, that tells you something. You have to see who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.

And to me, it doesn't need to be too much more complicated than that. You know, Jack, in other words, the Holocaust, I can't really think people say, well, there have been other genocides. No, no, there's nothing like that. Nothing like that, that a civilized nation like Germany would kill millions of men, women, and children systematically. We've never seen anything like that. Why would that be?

Why would it be that you have radical Muslims who want to watch? wipe Israel off the face of the map. Logically explain that to me. People cannot, and it's just what you said. There's no, they don't, they don't know. It's a spiritual issue. It is evil. Well, I know a guy by the name of Eric Batakas who wrote what I consider a treaty on logic

and reason when he wrote the book Bonhoffer. Bonhofer understood that this was a demon spirit that was being deployed somehow into the world, manifested through the Nazi movement, the Nazi ideology, the Nazi way of thinking. And I do find it remarkably telling Eric, and you're a master at this, that how is it that Hitler himself fought right to grant a Panzer division to be under the authority and under the name of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, a Muslim leader during World War II? What is the correlation? between Islam in its ideology and its eschatology regarding end times and Nazism. Nazism believed that the Jews must be eradicated from off the face of the earth.

Islam teaches. Now, look, I'm sure people are saying, I don't believe you, Jack. Well, that's tough. It doesn't matter if you believe me or not. The doctrines of Islam, in fact, one of the reasons, and I am answering your question, Eric, but I'm going to Albuquerque before I come back to New York. Atop every mosque, there's the crescent moon of Islam. And that is the symbol of their God.

And that comes out of ancient scripture, but also from the ancient Babylonian religions. And there's a reason why it's a moon. And you see some crescent moons half open, some three quarters, a closed, some closed all the way. Islam believes that the crescent cannot become a full moon until the last Jew is eradicated off the face of the earth. Well, guess what? They're never going to have a full moon. Because you said it, God is working right now at a time like this to reestablish his people. And Islam is a death cult. Islam is relatively, oh, listen, people get upset, Eric, when I say

this. But when it comes to the timeline of God in the Word of God, the Bible, Islam is a relatively new cult, if you think about it. It's anti-Semitic, it's Antichrist, and it fits the bill of what Jesus and the prophets warned about. That said, God has said, and this is where Christians, Eric, you and I have talked about this before, even over coffee. Why do Christians miss this? Well, Jack, you can't acknowledge Jews or Israel today because they're an apostate nation and they don't believe in Jesus and they're illegitimate. And I say to them, what's wrong with you? That's exactly what the Bible said what happened in the last days, that God would bring them back into their own land and they would be unbelieving. He said that. They would come back, not believing in him,

and they would come back just as pagan as ever, but he would be reestablishing them. He would first set up their nation. He would bring them back in what is called the Zionist movement. They've been coming back ever since, and God's word says they're not going to believe in mass as a nation until after the Ezekiel battle. He says, then you will know that I am God.

So if Christians would just read their Old Testament and read Bible prophecy from the old, they would know, wow, anti-Semitism is none other than a demonic doctrine and that it is something that is committed to the abolishment of the nation of Israel. Watch this. And the destruction of Jerusalem and the dividing up of the land. Why would anti-Semitism preach that? Because that's what Satan preaches. Because in his twisted mind, the Bible says, Jesus is going to, listen, class, the Bible says Jesus is going to return to Aila Capitolina? No. That he's going to return to Palestine? No. The Bible says he's going to return to Israel and he's going to establish his throne, the throne of David in Zion. That's what the Bible says. And all of what you and I are seeing right now is again, back to the chest piece, board. God is setting up. the end-time events. Antisemitism must happen because it is indicative of the end-time events. And imagine when more and more Jews begin to get saved. And then look to the prophetic scriptures when you see, for example, Matthew chapter 24, and you read about that, where the proponents of Jews

will be evangelist at that time. And Revelation tells us there'll be 12,000 virgin men from each of the 12 tribes of Israel who will evangelize the world during the tribulation period. And John said, I saw a number of Gentiles saved so great that nobody could count them. Listen, Satan might be mean, but he's not dumb. And he knows what the Bible says,

but he also believes because he's a liar that he thinks he can thwart the plan of God. There's so much I want to unpack. I don't like alarmism. I don't like fear-mongering. I especially don't like people who profit from panic. But I do believe in telling the truth, especially when the markets are reminding us

times like these, wisdom matters more than optimism. Jack, first of all, when people say things, and this drives me crazy because so many people are just, they don't think logically, right? When people say something like modern Jews don't believe in Jesus or the state of Israel is apostate, I think to myself, excuse me, let's talk about the United States of America. The United States of America does not proclaim Jesus. The United States of America has pushed lunatic rainbow ideology, baby murder ideology all over the world.

I mean, ladies and gentlemen, it's kind of complicated. The whole idea that a nation would be, you know, so when people say things like, well, Israel, I think, what are you talking about? It's like we're dealing Western nations do not universally proclaim Jesus and truth, including the United States. Now, we're doing a little better

than we were a couple of years ago. But the point is, and also I want to be clear, most people, you know, I know tons of Jews who believe in Jesus as Messiah. So when people say Jews don't believe in Jesus. That's not true. That's not true because Gentiles

don't believe in Jesus as Messiah, except the ones who do. But I know tons of Gentiles who do not believe even Jesus as Messiah. They don't care about Jesus. They use them as a curse word. So this is very sloppy thinking. You know, it's this tribalist kind of like Jews, this. And it's like, what are you talking about? Many Jews that I know love Jesus and proclaim him as Lord. So you can't speak monolithically about the Jews or about Israel. There are tons of messianic Jews in Israel. So it really is interesting

when people kind of talk like that. And they seem to think that everybody is going to agree with them. I'm not going to agree with them. And you're not going to agree with them. Yeah, that's awesome what you just said. In fact, let's be honest, folks. The truth of the matter is what Israel is doing as a secular nation is what Italy is doing as a secular nation. And the same thing that France and England is doing. And much of that immorality has been exported from America to other areas of the world. Now, don't get me wrong, everybody. I am a dyed in the wool, a patriot. I love my nation. I pray for my country. God has blessed this nation unlike any other. We have been given a peace of heaven when he gave us our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence.

I hail from a Marine Corps home. I love this country. That said, we're not perfect. In fact, we've got a lot of problems and we do a lot of evil. That said, I find it amazing. You mentioned the words logic and reason. So logic and reason presupposes a conversation. Who wants to destroy the Jews? Just ask yourself that question. Write it down. Okay? Find out what else they believe in or do not believe in. You will find this out. Those who are vehement about the Jews not being a nation and the Jews are being dissolved from the face of the earth and are the same people who say that, oh, we don't believe in God either. Or if they believe in God, it's a different God.

And so we side with those who do not believe in the God of the Bible. They do not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And so we don't care about Israel, and we don't care about Bible prophecy. And yet we call ourselves believers. But wait a minute. Eric, the chakaroo is this. the reason why Eric and Jack have absolute confidence in God fulfilling his word is because God has fulfilled his prophetic word in the past

that we've been able to observe what he's done and Jesus said it in John 14 verse 29 Jesus said, I've told you that these things in advance that when they come to pass you will believe that I am he so how does the modern day Christian Christian have confidence in faith that God is going to keep his covenant promise to you. If he doesn't keep his covenant promise to Israel, if God breaks his promises to Israel, you and I have no confidence.

Thank God he has not broken his covenant and he will fulfill. And you and I go to bed at night and we rest well knowing that the Lord who is the promised keeper is the one will be the promised performer. it's awesome. I want to ask you, there's so much, Jack. I want to ask you, like, so let's say somebody says, okay, if this is what it says in the Bible about the end times, why do we have to help that happen?

And that's not illogical. And those I think people say, like, look, whatever is supposed to happen, it will happen. Why does the United States need to get involved? I mean, I would say, first of all, that apart from end time stuff, that if people want to wipe Israel off, the face of the map, I would say we want to help that not to happen. It's the only democracy

in the Middle East. It's the only country where Christians can practice their faith freely. It's the only country that believes in religious liberties. And Muslims. And Muslims, right, that believes in religious liberty. So I would say if only for that reason, I would say, I care about Israel existing. But what does it matter in a sense, you know, when we get into the end time stuff, won't God just? do that? Why does the United States of America need to? Because I think there are people that raise the issue and they say, what does it have to do with our foreign policy? I don't get that. Yeah. Great question. Number one, I only see one passage of scripture. I'm sure there's more,

but only one sets my rudder in this area regarding people who say, well, you're just trying to fulfill Bible prophecy. Well, I will admit to this. Peter said that we need to preach the gospel, and I'm paraphrasing right now, like never before, at all cost. And then back to the scripture, I go, because if we do this, we are hastening the day of the Lord. That's a wild verse. In other words, evangelize. Jesus said it this way, go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creatures, to everyone. Right?

That said, that is where I am hoping to fulfill Bible prophecy. that is to preach the gospel to every Gentile and every Jew. Secondly, we are to be a people and a nation or nations that are listening. We are to be a people that believe in God to honor God, and God says, I want you to love the things that I love. Folks, listen, this is not open for debate. God tells you what and who he loves. And God says, you know, I pick the Jewish, people to be my special people. They're going to be a vehicle by which I communicate to the rest of the world, my grace, my favor, and my nature. And I'm going to start with Abraham. And this is how we're going to do this. And I have chosen them not because, Deuteronomy chapter 28. I've chosen them not because

they're better than anybody else. I've chosen them not because they're a higher ranking than anybody else. I've chosen them because they are the most stubborn, stiff-necked people. And those are the ones I've selected to work out my will through. And I'm asking all the nations of the world to make a choice to join with me in showing love and the gospel to them. And you find that in Genesis chapter 12, where the promise is given to love the descendants of Abraham and to support them. and that's the criteria. God didn't say judge Abraham's descendants. He said, be like me toward them.

Well, I don't agree with everything about it. He didn't ask you to agree. He asked you to shine the light of the love of God's grace, just like you would to the Canadians or to the Peruvians or to the Chinese. It just so happens that they are his chosen people. He says so. History has borne that out. and it's remarkable to me that in the entire volume of the Bible, there is one nation mentioned

more than all nations combined, and that is the nation of Israel. God has chosen them, and his sovereignty, in his immutable nature, when we say, wow, look at this, look at these end-time events, look at these situations, Eric Metaxus and Jack Hibbs is not trying to manipulate, what, manipulate governments and God to bring about Bible prophecy? That's stupid. That's impossible. God's timing is in his hands. At the end of the day, my friend, make sure you are in agreement with God and not what

some woke bozo just said on some podcast. You know, I know that wokebozo you're referring to. We're not going to mention his name. Okay, so, and his name is not bozo, folks. What you just said, you know, reminds me that. again, if you know nothing else, if you know nothing else, the idea, ladies and gentlemen, that the Jews are scattered to the four winds in 70 AD and that almost 2,000 years later, they still exist intact and they come back to the land.

How do you not see that as a miracle of God? I don't understand how anybody could act like, oh, well, stuff happens. What are you talking about? Where are the Elamites? Where are the Jebiosites? Where are the, all these groups that are mentioned, they didn't stay intact with an identity through the centuries and centuries and centuries.

Does that not itself amaze you, ladies and gentlemen, that God's hand has been on them? And it's difficult. There's a lot there. But just that basic narrative is amazing. It's absolutely amazing to me that the Jews came back to the land. plenty people, Jack, and you know this, they would just sneer at it. It means nothing to them. I'm fascinated that that could mean nothing to you.

Eric, I share passionately with what you just said. I mean, I wish I had the list. I wish I would have known what we were talking about before we went on the air because I would have set up this list. You can find it somewhere. People, you can Google this. But there's a list of nations throughout human history, recorded human history. There are nations and kingdoms and empires that have ruled the world, mind you, and they have come and gone. Persian Empire, Babylonian Empire, the United Kingdom or the British Empire, the Spanish Armada, the, you know, you go down the list. And there's Israel.

Persian Empire, Israel, Persian Empire is gone. There's still Israel. Same with the Babylonians. The Egyptians. You go down Germany, the whole Nazism, all of this, and there's still Israel. There's all these other kingdoms that have attempted to rule the world and destroy the Jew. That was one of their focal points, destroy the Jew, eradicate their culture. Nebuchadnezzar was a master at this.

Capture, eradicate their culture, reconstitute these individuals into our, make them assimilate into our culture. He failed. He's gone. Where's the Babylonians today? that said, here's Israel all along the way. Miraculous, surviving. And then, Eric, you know so well. May 14, 1948, they become a nation. And on May 15th, the next day, they're invaded. And they're fighting with handguns and pitchforks. And they win. It's crazy. God will not be made to be a liar. God will keep his word. And Eric, I'll say this. This is my opinion. I don't want to taint the Eric Metax's show. So this is Jack's opinion. In recent years, the church was tested regarding the issue of

COVID. Will we, will we shut up? Will we obey to not preach the gospel, to not help those that are hurting and sick? Or will we continue to gather defiant to the orders of a governor? Because the church is not essential or non-essential. The church is transcended. We're going to obey God rather than man. The church in America was tested. And then came DEI, or BLM, I guess, BLM came, and the church was tested. And then DEI came, and the church was tested. And then LBGTQ has always been there, but increased. The church was tested. And then came gender mutilation, and the church was tested. And then came gender mutilation and the church was tested. Eric, right now, and by the way, always throw in there the definition of marriage. That's always been, the church has been tested and always throw in the issue of

abortion. The church has always been tested on this. But now, Eric, the church is being tested regarding what is Israel? Eric, what could possibly be the next topic? Beyond this, what's next? I mean, personally, my opinion, I would not be surprised if this topic of Israel is the last topic that the church on earth deals with before the Lord catches her up. Because where do you go beyond Israel in the opinion of the church? I don't make those statements harshly. I make them based upon Jesus' words to the church of Philadelphia in the letters to the seven churches. This is serious. He exposes those who say they are Jews and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan. Wow. Could Jesus have possibly been referring to replacement theology when he said that? Oh, we're Jews. They're not. Yikes. I don't even want to get near that conversation.
