I have my own ideas, but, I mean, I suspect maybe a certification that went through yesterday. Bingo. Yeah. Bingo. Yesterday, Donald J. Trump was certified officially as the official winner of the 2024 election.

Now, why should we care? In the past, no one would care. But we know that the left and the deep state, the blob, they hate him so much because they hate you, ladies and gentlemen, because they hate your guts and they hate liberty. And at their heart of hearts, they hate God, that they would do literally any. And so the fact that they didn't and that Trump was certified yesterday is good. Now, they'll still do anything. They would be delighted to put a bullet in his head or anything they can do. So here's the memo. Pray for this country every single day. Pray for this president every single day.

And I don't mean Biden who stole the presidency. I mean President Trump. So yesterday I posted a thing on my Instagram. I went for a run in Central Park. There was snow everywhere. It was beautiful. And I thought, let me put a thing up on Instagram to say, hey, ladies and gentlemen, there's snow in Central Park. Trudeau has resigned.

Hurrah. And Donald Trump was certified as the win. It's just, it's a big deal. These things are a big deal. Now, speaking of Canada, Chris, are we going to buy Canada? Eric, I was going to say it's like it's it's like a Narnia thing, right? I mean, the the winter spell is broken. You know, we got rid of Trudeau.

There was no Turkish delight involved. It's fantastic. The white witch of the north, Justin Trudeau is, is gone, is no more. No, it's just, it's just so crazy. This is good news. Now, by the way, I always do this. I start talking and I forget today coming up on this program, we got three amazing guests. We have Benny Johnson coming up in the next segment.

But in all seriousness, I was thinking about this, that if the federal government were the size that it's supposed to be, if it was really, really small, the way it was in 1789 when we had just gotten our Constitution. And you had this strong federalism. Every state was like its own sovereign entity almost, you know, not quite, but states had tremendous power. The federal government didn't have a lot of power. If you had that state of affairs, then Canada would say, oh, yeah, we'd like to be, you know, they probably shouldn't be a 51st state. They should be like, you know, four state, five states.

Each province should probably be its own state or something like that. But then they'd be part of this federation. So it's not like you're being gobbled up by the United States of America, but you become part of this federation, which is a different thing, the same thing with Greenland. So every state ought to have much more sovereignty than it does. But the federal government, which is a bloated tick, it needs to be lanced or the boil needs to be lanced.

And we hope that that's what Trump and the new administration will do when it comes in. So if they do get to buy Greenland, what are the chances that Trump changes the name to Godland? Go what? Gold land. Oh, Goldland. Yeah. I think it would be just easier just to gild the whole country, the way he did. When he owned the plaza here in New York, I remember when this happened.

Yes. When he got the plaza, there's a glorious statue of William to come to Sherman, an equestrian statue in the front of. of the plaza in New York. If you've ever visited, it's Park Avenue, it's across from, used to be FAA or Schwartz, or the Apple store is right across from the plaza. There's this amazing equestrian statue. And Trump had it gloriously gilded. And I remember when that happened, this is so many years ago. It's probably 30 plus years ago. But I remember thinking, whoa, like what happened there? It's like he decided, yeah, it needs, it needs a new paint job. And so he might do that to Greenland. But seriously,

the point, I mean, we're joking around, but what's beautiful, the reason so many people love Trump is because he invites us to dream as a nation about, you know, what, instead of saying, well, we've always done it this way, like, what might we do? Would Greenland want to join us? We don't know. But the fact that he's playing with the heads of world leaders by floating this, out there. It's just, it's hilarious. It's absolutely hilarious. but he's not pro-Trump or anything, but they managed to mush it all together, okay, and basically say Eric Mataxis, Christian nationalist, wanting to incite violence, Bonhofer, you know, killed Hitler, so Metaxus has hijacked the agenda to incite political violence

against Joe Biden. I mean, absolute lunacy. And in the mix, they were particularly triggered because Project 2025 mentions Bonhofer, right? This is the genius of Kevin Roberts and Heritage that they cite Bonhofer when they're talking about the concept of an open border and how that's cheap grace, right? Yeah, come on in. We love you. Come on in. That's definition of foolishness. But also, in Project 225, they mentioned cheap grace, and they mentioned Bonhoeff.

This triggered the liberal Bonhofer scholars, the liberal pro-Hamas, you know, Bonhofer family members, whoever it is. It triggered them so that they actually mentioned Project 2025 in their screed against me, the Bonhofer film, Donald Trump, and, you know, my book. So the attack vector there, is that they're pro-Hitler? Like is that the attack factor of the left? Like is this where we've come? Well, that would be the logical extension of it. But they're not logical, right? To them, if you are affiliated with Trump, you're...

I mean, listen, you know, I didn't bring you on here to talk about my book. But when my book came out in 2010 on Bonhofer, the agnostic liberal academics who had been writing about Bonhofer through the decades, they went insane. Why? because a non-academic, you know, I wrote for Veggie Tales. I'm like a humorist. I'm the, but, but, but, but, wrote a 600-page book

about the guy that they had hijacked for 50 years as a, you know, they had kind of set him up as this pacifist, agnostic, humanist icon, even though that's not true. And so I wrote my book and I revealed him for who he was. They just went insane because, and of course my book sold a million copies. It was, you know, the popularity. of it further triggered them. So they were so angry,

and they've been angry all these years. So when the film came out, even though it's not officially attached to my book, they just went insane. So the knock on the film is that Bonhofer did the things that he did, and he did them against the tyranny of Hitler, and

they're like, but we're the tyrants now, so we must protect that? You're joking. No, that was where they were... They're not being that logical. For them, it's as simple as Eric Metaxus, you know, Trump, Christian nationalist lunatic, has hijacked Bonhoffer for far-right purposes. And, you know, saying that basically Bonhofer belongs to them for their far-left purposes. Bonhofer was a Christian nationalist, and the Christian church was persecuted by the Nazis horrifically. And it's something that we don't talk about nearly enough, right, was the life

of priests and Christians under Nazi rule. And the Vatican and what happened in those Those era, like in that era, I think would be quite shocking to the conscience of so many people. You know, Benny, you're pretty sharp. Have you thought of doing your own podcast? Oh, yes. I think you're ready to take the leap. Don't be bashful. The number one thing I'd like to do, Eric, would be to have on Donald Trump on my podcast, because I hear he's literally Hitler.

And, you know, they'd be very interesting to talk about. He's a historic figure, right? And that's the thing that I find, I would love to get your take on this. how do you go from saying that Donald Trump is Hitler, Mussolini

and Hirohito all mixed together personified with with Osama bin Laden because he did 9-11 right? He said January 6th of 9-11

okay and Pearl Harbor how do you go from that to this this ass-happy grin of Joe Biden sitting there by a roaring fire in the White House clapping hands

with Trump. Right. What is the cognitive dissidents required to clap hands and say Merry Christmas to Hitler? It's, it's complete, but that's the point is that you're talking to people, there's no truth in them. In other words, they will say, and look, this is the definition of worshiping self or worshiping Satan. You will, you worship power. So you will say literally anything or do literally anything. You don't care about consistency or logic. and they simply don't. And then, of course, you get this overlay of confusion with Biden at war with the people that, you know, assassinated him and said, it's time for you to leave.

So was it that? Who knows what it was? I just saw an interview with him just the other day, two days. Maybe it was yesterday morning where he was talking about Trump and saying that how we, you know, the Democrats, we respect the institutions of democracy. And that's why I had him to the White House, because we care. about a peaceful transition and blah, blah, blah, and they don't. And I thought to myself, there's no, you know, it's like the proverbial trying to shovel

smoke. There's just no, you cannot make sense of it. There's no sense to be made. And so even trying becomes foolish. It's why you shouldn't put yourself in a box. And I didn't want to make this entire Hitler conversation, you know, obviously, right, okay, But you have these rules that you should follow, which is that Hitler was Hitler and nobody else is. And you shouldn't ascribe these things to your political enemies because you might be forced and in a righteous world that is actually run by a righteous God, you will eventually be humbled.

And you'll be forced, like many Democrats are, to side with literal Hitler, okay? And they've all said it. They all said it. And now Bernie Sanders is on the side of Trump. Elizabeth Warren just agreed with Trump on the debt ceiling. Elizabeth Warren was like, I just had a conversation with Donald. She posted it on X. I had a conversation with Donald Trump.

And while we disagree, I totally agree with the president on this and this and this. Elizabeth Warren just went and did it. You're going to make a fool of yourself. You've made a fool of yourself. Barack Obama is going to have to give him a big old hug and, you know, everything. You're going to have to, you're going to be at the inaugural? He's got to be. You think so?

You think Barack and Michelle will be at the inauguration? I just would never do like I don't like the Democrat Party I think that Barack Obama did a lot to wreck the country I would never compare him to Hitler I just wouldn't okay I compare him to Stalin but go ahead Yeah but like eventually you're gonna have

like eventually I think that it's I think that it's very humbling because the rhetoric okay so a lot of people don't like Obama the rhetoric on Trump was next level and all of these people that ratcheted that up and went so extreme with it are having to, like, be like Tim Cook and Mark Zuckerberg and go to Mar-a-Lago and kiss the ring, Jeff Bezos.

All of these guys, they're having to go there and, like, humble themselves and, like, kiss ass. And it's very fun to watch. It's incredible. And, like, don't put yourself in a box like that. Yeah. Well, I mean, they're a little bit more just hoarish, whereas I think that the radical leftists genuinely believed

he was Hitler and generally believe. Like, I think they genuinely believe that. I just think, you know, in the case of Biden, he's just too confused to know what he believes. Morning Joe. That was the example I was looking for. Oh, yeah. Morning Joe's audience. Like, wait a second.

You've told us for 18 straight months that this guy's Hitler, and then you just met with Hitler and told us how nice he was. You're insane. We're leaving. And all the audience leaves because you're proven to be a fraud. Well, reality is a funny thing. And that's what we're dealing with here. It's reality. And if you go against reality,

it'll get you. And so this is basically, but I mean, this is the narrative of the last whatever, you know, at least four years, more eight years or who know, but in other words, that the left,

they used to be just wrong on, oh, I don't know, the economy and a few things. They have gone all in for lunacy, for fantasy. And so now eventually it bites back. You know, it's kind of like the proverbial,

you know, with socialism, you eventually run out of other people's money. Eventually, you run out of every good thing. If you operate on these models, you eventually, you lose everything. And to me, they're at that point.

And it's why they're in total meltdown mode. And I hope we're going to see a political sea change. We're seeing a political sea change like none of us really could have dreamtled in our lifetime. This makes the Reagan Revolution look like nothing. I honestly think that that's where we are. We're going to go to a break. Can I keep you for another short segment? Are you good?

Use code. Eric. Folks, I am at Amfest talking to Benny Johnson. Benny, we're talking about a lot of stuff. What else? Where do we go? Oh, you were talking about the Reagan Revolution before the break and about how exciting it is. And here's the difference, I think.

And I would love to just posit this to you as one of the world's experts on this subject matter. The assassination attempt of President Trump and watching President Trump miss a bullet and come up with the blood streaming down his face. First off, it's a unifying, it's a unifying moment that we've never had before in my generation, where everyone knew where they were.

Everyone knew where they were when they heard JFK had been shot in that generation. My generation doesn't have that. And so everyone knows where they were. And then everyone witnessed this miracle, okay? And this is the most witnessed miracle in human history of God. And it's white-pilled. My entire generation, there's a spiritual kinetic energy that's happening right now. That did not happen with the Reagan Revolution.

There were no miracles, I think, that people, like, witnessed and were observant of. Because of social media and because of the world we live in, billion... How many people didn't see Trump get shot? I can argue... There's probably many billions who watched Trump get shot. I was in Greece. And were people watching it? Well, no, but that's the thing.

It's like you don't need to because the world of TV is gone. It's like you turn on the computer. I turn on my computer and on my X feed, boom, there it is. So my wife says, we're just about to fall asleep, and she says, like, oh, Leslie just texted me, Reagan, I mean Reagan. Trump just got Chad, right? What, what, what? So I go on my computer, boom, there it is. I watched the whole thing.

It's like. Did people in Greece care about this? Did they know about it? Like the natives of Greece? I went to an evangelical church service the next morning. Now there's like zero evangelical church services on this island in Greece. There happened to be one. and they seem to be

like it's mostly an English crowd which means politically liberal kind of Christians so no one mentioned it in the service I mentioned it in the service because I thought to myself this is you know but I don't it's kind of funny I don't remember actually how the Greeks how the Greeks dealt with it

I think for a lot of people was tough to process because obviously if somebody gets shot you're supposed to have sympathy for them they're like but but it's Hitler You know, so I don't know. So, you know, my take on it from an American perspective, and I, you know, is that people saw it as a miracle. And I've spoken with very powerful.

No doubt. I've spoken with very powerful, very prestigious, world famous, atheists and agnostics who have told me that in their personal conversations with President Trump, Trump is witnessing to them because of this. They never spoke with Trump about God. These are billionaires and multimillionaires. These are world famous people who are regularly on national television. And they're saying that Trump is using this assassination attempt to radically witness to them about his faith in God.

And it has moved people towards saying there is no God to there must be a God because we've personally watched a miracle. It's amazing to hear you say this because I, I mean, I'm tracking with you completely. But, I mean, I keep saying that we're in the midst of revival, the beginnings of revival, and that there's a sea change. It's difficult. You put your finger on it. You can see it. You can feel it. Something's happening.

And people have prophesied this. And I've sort of known this was going to happen. But now it's actually happening. And what happened with Trump is sort of like Exhibit A. Because how can you look at that and not see God's hand involved? How? I mean, it's just like. And why does God?

I wrote a whole book on miracles. Why does God do miracles? Only for our benefit. Not for his benefit. Like he could have, Trump could have survived. And there was no bloody ear and no. It's just, but God allows these things to happen to make a. point and the point is

you should be dead Donald Trump, America you should be dead and over I spared you and I want you to know that I spared you for my purposes in history. I actually, I had a moment with Trump about a week before the election and I said emphatically

to him like I'm talking to my child I said listen you need and I love this man I revere but I said to him sternly in case he miss it I said, you need to know that God preserved your life for his purposes. This is an absolutely stunning historic moment. Now, I know I'm not the only one who said that, but I wanted to make sure that he knows.

And it seems to me that he understands this. And this is game-changing. If he understands this, we're in a new world. Yes, God's not done with me yet, is what he says. And I think he deeply understands it. Then he goes back. That's why we got the Elon endorsement. I think the cascade of the confluence of miracles that happened after that.

Elon didn't endorse Trump until after that, right? I didn't realize that. I didn't realize that. And then what happens a month later? Trump's in Butler on the exact same site. Elon's doing jumping jacks on stage, of course, famously. And he is done, Trump is literally standing on the grave of his assassin, standing on the grave of evil, the symbolism of it.

Wow, wow. Standing right there in the field and his people, as far as the I can see, I know you've seen the photos, like the mass of the movement, of bright light of salvation there. And Christ, of course, did these incredible miracles. And when I get to heaven, I'm going to ask God for his YouTube channel because I want to watch them all, all right? But we just didn't have the technology back then.

This is the most viewed miracle in human history. Many people have read about Christ's miracles. This is the most physically viewed miracle. And it's so powerful. Ten is mightier than the sword. Well, then what is a word worth to an image? Or to a moving film. Right.

And so it's like very special. And I think it's not lost on this crowd here at Amfest. I have to say, my highest compliment is to say that I wish we weren't at a time because it's really fun to talk to you. I've never had you on the show before, Benny. Who was in it? I think it was Christopher. Nobody who was famous at the time except for Helen Mirren. Helen Mirren, did she play Morgana LaFay? And she is perfect in that. Is this the one where someone says, use the charm Uther? Yes, yes, that is it, yes. That's all I remember.

What we've seen in Canada is you can lose your freedom of speech, you can lose your freedom of religion, your freedom to assemble, you can be euthanized by the government, can be imprisoned for just preaching your own religion. most important legacy Donald Trump will leave. What do you think Donald Trump has to do with Trudeau resigning? I don't understand that. Trump humiliated him on the world stage. So what? I mean, Trump has done that before. People don't resign. It was such a loss of face for Canada, them being told, you know, we're going to make you the 50. first state, just the sheer humiliation, there are a lot of people inside Trudeau's own party who hate him. And so what it did was his internal people turned against him and Trudeau saw that he wasn't going to be able to continue in power. He was going to lose the support of his own party. So now he's slinking off. He's probably going to, you know, be flown on Obama's jet to a house

on Epstein Island and work with the Osoros Foundation and Pope Francis to develop a, children's curriculum, you know, something wholesome and beautiful like that. Okay. So. But this is a great moment. The fall of Trudeau, it's a great moment. The next great moment that we need is the fall of Starmer, the Prime Minister of England, who has also turned an English-speaking country into an illiberal dictatorship where people

are imprisoned for their political views. I mean, what's happened in Britain is shocking. With 34% of the vote, the Labor Party in Britain, has, torn up the Magna Carta and the English Bill of Rights. It is imprisoning people for going on Facebook and saying, I think there's too much immigration.

They send them to prison and they let rapists out. Thank God. Look, I've heard you say this before. I know it's true. I still do not understand, frankly, how it's possible. I honestly, I just don't understand how it's possible.

How can these things be? What I think you should have, as a guess, You should, when he's ever released from prison, you should have Tommy Robinson. But maybe you should have Jamie Bambrick. Jamie Bambrick over in Northern Ireland, he's been writing for us over at the stream, how Britain is no longer a free country. And it may be irreversible.

And you don't think that the head of the Reform Party, Nigel Farage, is sufficiently courageous to face these things. I think he's the British Mike Pence. who says all the right. You don't think it's that bad. No, I do. Yeah, I think he's the British Mark Pence. Look, that doesn't make sense because he's the leader of the reform party.

He's not a mere conservative, a mere Tory. He has formed a party to lead Brexit. Mike Pence didn't do anything that heroic or Trumpian. From what I see from the people I follow on Twitter, the serious conservatives like Calvin Robinson, like Jamie Bambrook, like Gavin Ascendant, they're all saying the Farage has marginalized the really solid conservatives who really want to do something. He's already said that sending back immigrants is off the table, that they're not going to send back the Pakistanis who are committing the 200,000 rapes in Britain, that it's just too impractical to deport immigrants.

Well, I would guess that these are political calculations. I think they are, but to me, they are cowardice. ones that bark him as the British my fence. You ask him my opinion, that's my opinion. that it should have a central government and a central army. Then he reinvents himself as the champion of Brexit, purposely waters down the impact of Brexit, won't slow down immigration. John Smirak, just let me clarify. So you said that Boris Johnson reinvented himself as the champion of Brexit. has he tacked back from that? Because I think of him. Yes. Boris Johnson refused to reduce immigration, and in fact increased it. Boris Johnson shut down and it kept secret the results of investigations into the Pakistani

grooming gangs. And then Boris Johnson went on a mission to make sure that there was not a peace in Ukraine because Russia and Ukraine were coming close to peace after just three months of fighting. And Boris Johnson went there and blew that up to make sure that the war would continue, and now there have been perhaps 600,000 casualties on both sides, billions of dollars spent, wasted, and us brought to the brink of nuclear war. So if I said Nigel Farage is the Mike Pence of Great Britain, Boris Johnson is the Liz Cheney of Great Britain. Ouch. Okay. So it looks like Great Britain is out of heroic leaders at this point. Well, no. There's someone named Tom. Tommy Robinson sitting in prison, persecuted by the government, for exposing the Pakistani rape

gangs and for continually pushing back against the intentional replacement of the British population by Muslim immigrants. And you think he's capable of being a political leader? No, he is the most courageous leader in Britain. He is there Donald Trump, if they're going to have one. And the lawfare was threatened with jail, but he's not in jail, whereas Tommy Robinson is in jail. Right. Horrible.

Horrible. What about... Tommy Robinson. Well, what about Liz Truss? She is a good woman. She is, she is, or Liz Truss is a genuine conservative who managed to become prime minister. The Bank of England decided it didn't want her to be prime minister, so it purposely tanked the economy of Great Britain. caused an economic crisis so that you'd be pushed out of power.

And now she is speaking courageously about the Pakistani rape gangs that have so far targeted between 200 and 250,000 British girls have been raped, gang raped, forced into prostitution by these extended family gangs run by Pakistani immigrants and first-generation Pakistanis. I mean, it's mind-blowing. And Liz Trust is speaking up courageously about it. So all credit to Liz Trust. What was done to Liz Trust is what they tried to do to Donald Trump with the Russia collusion hoax. Somebody took power and the elites decided, no, we don't want this person in power.
