Welcome to the Eric Mataxis show. Did you ever see the movie The Blobs starring Steve McQueen?
The blood-curdling prep of The Plop.
Well, way back when Eric had a small part in that film, but they had a little part in that film, but they had a
to cut his scene because the blob was supposed to eat him, but he kept spitting him out.
Oh, the whole thing was just a disaster.
Anyway, here's the guy who's not always that easy to digest.
Eric the Texas!
Hey there, folks, welcome to the program.
Are you excited?
You should be excited.
I don't know why you should be.
I just know that you should be.
Chris Heims, are you excited?
I'm thrilled, man.
I'm stoked, as they say in California.
Are you stoked, bro?
What would Doug Giles say?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Whatever would say we would never think of it.
Only Doug Giles would think of it.
Look, seriously, folks.
He would use the word brocifus.
That's all I got to say.
There's a number of things that I want to relate now excitedly, okay, because I'm excited.
Number one, a number of you have stepped up to give to food for the poor, but not everyone has.
Here's the thing.
We need everybody to do it.
Everybody, unfortunately, includes you, folks.
I don't make up the rules.
Okay, these are the rules.
You need to go to metaxis talk.com today.
You'll see the banner, feed their future at metaxis talk.com today.
If you prefer to call, I can give you a phone number.
In fact, I will give you the phone number, but it's very important.
So I want to give you some details on that in just a minute.
I also want to mention excitedly that the cruise, the Greek cruise, June 6th to 16th,
which is mind-blowing.
It is not sold out.
But if you're interested at this late date, you need to call, right?
So if you go to the website, ericmetaxis.com slash cruise,
erkmataxis.com slash cruise.
You'll see if you click through it says sold out.
It's not sold out.
There's a phone number there.
You need to call the phone number because for some reason now you got a call.
So to inquire, you can go to ericemtaxis.com slash cruise.
and see the phone number and call it,
or I'll just give you the phone number right now.
What do you say?
Here you go.
Ready?
844-808-2058, 844-808-2058.
844-808-2058.
I would call it sooner rather than later.
844-808-2058.
There is an add-on that we're doing,
that you can actually just do the add-on and skip the cruise
if you don't want to go on the cruise the end of time.
But we're doing it in Athens, three days in Athens,
before the cruise.
So before June 6th.
So I think it's the fourth, fifth and sixth,
or the third, fourth, and fifth.
We're doing Socrates and City in Athens.
Speaking of Socrates and City,
we're doing a Socrates and City in New York in May.
We're doing a Socrates and City in Lexington, Kentucky, in April.
All kinds of stuff.
got to go to Socratesandcity.com for all that information. But the cruise, if you're interested,
I would call 8448082058. It is definitely not sold out, but you have to call 844808-2058.
I also want to mention excitedly our friend Mike Lindell. If you know Mike Lindell, he's a
and we've had him on the program many times.
But I want to encourage you or remind you that if you buy anything from my store.com or my pillow.com, use the code Eric.
This radio show needs your help and your support.
So please tell your friends, if you buy towels or sheets or mattress toppers or my crosses or slippers or all the stuff that he sells,
my store.com or my pillow.com use the code Eric. And speaking of my store.com, there are some
amazing prices on my books there. So if you go to my store.com, my miracles book, the Donald
drains the swamp book, the Donald builds the wall book, the Donald and the fake news book,
the birthday ABC. Oh my gosh. The birthday ABC. Have you seen that one?
I should talk about it more.
It is so gorgeous.
And actually, we are scheduled to have Mike Lindell back on the show in the coming weeks.
We're excited to get him back on.
We're talking to his booker.
Do you think John Smirik is scary?
Yeah.
I once interviewed Mike Lindell in front of like 800 people in a ballroom.
It was like wrestling two greased grizzly bears.
That sounds impossible like it couldn't be done.
That's correct.
That's exactly correct.
You know, we refer to John Zimirac as the Crackin.
Mike Lindell is kind of like the Papa Crackin.
Yeah, he's like a pair of greased grizzly bears.
Good luck, wrestling them.
Anyway, but if you're interested in supporting the hero patriot, Mike Lindell,
go to my store.com, my pillow.com.
Please use the code.
Eric.
And if you are interested in helping our friends at Food for the Poor,
actually, you're not helping our friends at Food for the Poor.
you're helping hungry children.
Literally, you're feeding hungry children.
You go to metaxis talk.com and click on the banner.
This is mandatory.
Actually, I want to play a clip.
James, I don't know if we have that clip.
But let me just say this, right?
Just to break it down in case you haven't heard this before.
This is urgent.
Okay.
In El Salvador, skyrocketing food prices,
have made challenges for people living in vulnerable conditions even worse, right? So creating more
poverty, more food insecurity to use a term chronic malnutrition. Imagine, that should not be a
problem in the world today, malnutrition. Chronic malnutrition affects 10% of all kids under five years
old in El Salvador. 10% have chronic malnutrition. So basically, that's where food for the poor comes in.
you come in. You're literally saving lives, changing lives. But I want to play a clip,
one of Food for the Poor's ministry partners on the ground. Her name is Carla. She is in El Salvador
where we are focusing right now. Let me play that clip. Here's Carla.
Because El Salvador ranked as one of the top 10 most vulnerable countries worldwide. So the
well-being of the most vulnerable population is always threatened. On a yearly basis, we understand this.
is going to be a recurring problem in El Salvador.
So having your support, give us a lot of confidence that we can face struggles and support
the vulnerable population without delays.
Okay, folks, so would you please jump in with us today?
This is exciting.
You should be excited that you, out of your treasure, can bless kids who are literally hungry
and malnourished.
That should not happen.
we have it in our power to do something about it.
I will throw this out there again.
I've said it before.
Everybody can give something.
There are rare people who can give $15,000.
If you can do that, or if you want to do that, you want to gather with some friends,
maybe three couples want to throw in five each.
I will have dinner with you, spend an evening with you.
I'm traveling like crazy.
I was looking at my schedule.
So we can do it in New York.
if you want to come to New York.
I'll be in Lexington, Kentucky.
I'll be in Winachi, Washington State.
I'll be in Rome, Georgia.
I'll be in Grand Rapids.
I'll be in Ocean City, New Jersey.
I go all over the country.
That doesn't stop.
We can find a time together and spend the evening together.
If anybody can give $15,000 to this work, to this campaign with food for the poor.
Once the campaign is over, this offer,
is over. So I cannot, you know, a month from now, you know, somebody says, oh, I want to give this.
It has to be done like now. Otherwise, the offer does not stand. I'm simply busy. And I've, I've had the
privilege to sit in on a couple of the dinners. And honestly, they have been some of the more
memorable, you know, dinners we've had. And I think you sort of like make a new friend that you
can't believe you didn't have. You know, it's like, how did I, how did I not know this person was
out there. So it's really a wonderful time. Well, it's just a way that I get to thank people and it gives
me joy. It's something that I can do. It's not easy, but I will figure it out. But you have to go to
metaxis talk.com and metaxisotalksot.com click on the banner or you can call them. I mean,
if you want to give a gigantic gift, whatever, it's probably better to call them. The number is 844-863,
4, 6, 7, 3.
But every gift, every single person
listening can give something.
And I wish you would do that, folks. Please do it.
844-8663-4-8-6-3,
8-6-3, 8-6-3, 8-6-3,
8-6-7-3.
This is urgent, folks.

Hey, the folks, welcome back. Billy Hallowell. My friend. My guest. My guest.
Billy, what's going on? You have something exciting to share. I'll let you do the sharing,
but I'm excited. I love that. I love that. Well, it's a new film investigating the supernatural
miracles, and you're going to love this one. I mean, we went around the country looking at
insane cases, claims of miracles, medical healings, things that, I mean, we know as believers
miracles are true, they happen, but we went deep into really trying to prove our miracles real,
are they still happening? And so we present that in this,
feature film that people can check out at cbn.com slash supernatural is john mccarthy in this film
john mccarthy is not in this film he is not but we do have listen we have stories that left me
because i went in skeptical you know i'm a christian just like you and and i believe miracles are possible
but i went into this really feeling like you know what i want to poke holes in these stories i want to
see can these people really prove that these things happen to them and i left it
pretty, pretty shaken and shocked and inspired.
Listen, as you know, I think, I wrote a book on miracles.
In fact, the title is miracles.
And the reason I did that was because I thought there's so many people who they have some vague
sense that miracles don't happen anymore.
And that makes me angry because that's preposterous.
I know I've experienced actual miracles.
And I know innumerable people who've experienced.
Wild miracles, undebatable.
Like this is not like, well, it's in their head.
No, no, no, no, no.
If you don't, there are times when things are really clear.
When they're not clear, I'm not interested.
I don't call it a miracle.
It can be whatever.
But I have seen so much of that.
And it's why I wrote my book.
And any time we get an opportunity to do a Miracle Monday program with somebody telling a story,
people need to know this is real.
And all the people who I know who pray for the sick and deliverance
and all this stuff, they see these crazy miracles.
And I say, can you get it documented?
Because people need to know this is real.
But that's always a challenge.
So what led you, Billy, to do this?
And this is my long-winded way of saying,
I'm just absolutely thrilled you've done this.
And even before you answer the question of what led you into it,
where can people see the film?
Yeah, absolutely.
I remember your book, Miracles.
Love that book.
You know, you can see the film at CBN.com slash supernatural.
You can go there and check it out.
I'll tell you, this was something that came out of a lot of the topics you just mentioned,
deliverance, you know, these issues that are sometimes difficult in the church to talk about.
A lot of people don't want to talk about them or they believe these things have ceased.
And yet, just like you, you hear all of these stories.
And there are different categories of miracles.
There are miracles that seem, it's like, okay, I know, the Holy Spirit told me,
I know that this thing that happened to me was miraculous.
But those are some of the more benign ones.
When you start to dig into the ones that are documented,
you're never a hundred and ten percent going to be able to prove, right, that a miracle happened and satisfy the skeptics,
but we really dug into cases that we felt got as close as they possibly could.
I mean, I'm talking medical documentation.
We have one man who had a brain tumor, for instance, right?
A tumor that was not operable.
You couldn't do anything.
There was no treatment.
So he received no treatment for this brain tumor outside of anti-seizure medicine.
And he and his wife went on a journey.
They were Christians who didn't believe in miracles.
And so here they are now dealing with life or death, a very dire prognosis.
They go around the entire country to every prayer event they can go to.
And they're on this journey.
And this is a man who 21 years later only has scar tissue left with no medical intervention in a tumor that has
killed every other.
He's lived the longest outside of any person who has had this tumor and no longer has it.
So when you're dealing with something like that, you have to say, well, what in the world
happened?
And if I'm an atheist, I'm left with, okay, well, you've got to explain it.
There has to be a source of what cured that.
And so those are the kinds of stories we feel very, very much so are documented and proven in this series.
And there are numerous other stories like that.
Well, look, this is so up my alley.
And I can tell you that because this is a real issue for me, this is a big part of my life,
is trying to say to people, listen, the evidence for God is overwhelming.
The evidence for miracles is overwhelming.
I mean, if you're talking to non-believers, the evidence for God is staggering.
You don't have a leg to stand on.
You might not like it, but that's not an argument.
That's kind of pathetic, and you need to be a big boy and face the facts, that the evidence for God is mind-blowing.
So I wrote a book called Is Atheism Dead?
I deal with that.
The evidence for miracles, dealing with Christians oftentimes, it's the same thing.
You present evidence, and they just don't like it or it makes them uncomfortable, so they
they shrug and walk away, it's kind of like talking to atheists or talking to people that they just,
they're unwilling to deal with the evidence, which is so overwhelming. So I just want to say thank you
for presenting this and for making the film. And folks, the film is called investigating the supernatural.
You can see it at CBN.com slash supernatural. But I really believe we're living at a time, Billy,
where many, many people who want to believe are getting overwhelming evidence.
It's not like it used to be where I don't know where to turn.
The evidence is very, very dramatic.
And through this radio program and through CBN,
more and more, people who want to believe can believe,
but the people who don't want to believe, they just can't look at it.
It makes them uncomfortable.
So they just sort of walk away.
You know, when you present, like what you're just talking about,
this evidence, there are people that just go,
I don't know, and they walk away.
Like, I don't want to deal with the evidence, I guess, is what I find funny.
Well, let me throw something in there because you just talked about your other book on atheism,
and you and I have talked many times about this before.
We know what the culture is like right now.
I actually think it's more frustrating to deal with Christians who reject miracles than it is
with atheists who reject all of it, because you have a starting point with atheists where
you can easily sort of go in and say, look, we have all these different pieces.
But when you have Christians who have been so impacted by a secular culture, that they're
no longer open to the very things the Bible tells them are true, that's actually a lot harder to
deal with sometimes. And so my hope with this has been, I want atheists, agnostics, I want Christians
to check this out because I think everybody will be challenged. But when it comes to those Christians
who are not believing in miracles who think this is impossible, you know, I would argue that a lot of
the secularism and chaos and the culture that we know has come into the church, it is eroded even those
basic factors of, I mean, you can't read the Bible without seeing a miracle.
on almost every page of scripture. You go to Mark 5 and the woman who's so desperate for healing,
right, that she just wants to reach out and touch Jesus's clothes. She believes she'll get that healing.
She was on a 12-year journey and you see her get the healing. I mean, there's so many stories.
Why do we suddenly believe that they're not happening? Well, we believe that because the culture
has come into the church and impacted those beliefs.
No, that's exactly right, which is why I'm excited that you made this. And we just need more and
more and more of this. We need to flood the zone and overwhelm the secular culture. I mean,
I keep saying that, you know, hey, it's great that Donald Trump won. Now we have a foundation to do
all this other stuff that we need to do because the culture is so secular. And I've been talking
about it on the program recently. There's a really openly satanic element in the culture,
blasphemy toward God, murder of Christians around the world, really horrible stuff. And
we have an opportunity to make the case for the faith and to bring people into the faith.
And one of the big things, I mean, I think if somebody is open-minded, the miraculous is the Lord's
way of drawing them in. I mean, that's what happens in the scripture. You see people coming to
faith because they see the miracles. And that's, of course, the argument of Christian cessationists.
They say, well, that existed back then to show people that Jesus is Lord, but we're done now.
And you think, well, why would that be? And then why have you and I and so many others heard
innumerable, crazy, beautiful stories of miracles? What sense do we make of that? So let's just go
into some of the specifics, though. Like, what do you go into? How long is this documentary,
first of all? Yeah, it's over an hour and 10 minutes. You know, it's full feature length documentary.
And, you know, we go into a lot. I mean, we go into a number of stories. There are three to four very
powerful stories that we journey through in this. And it was really important for us to not just
talk to the people who experienced the miracle, but the people around them, you know, looking at the
medical documentation, being able to pull all of that together because, you know, when I said
earlier that I went into this skeptically, not because I don't believe in the miracles, but because
I feel like the best case scenario is for us to pull together the most compelling stories.
I mean, I'll tell you, there's a couple out in New Jersey. We went over the whole country. We
were in California. We were in Florida, Indiana. I mean, we, we traversed the
country looking for these stories. But this particular couple in New Jersey, the husband was a
police officer. He fell on the ice and literally broke his neck, ended up paralyzed on half of his
body, okay? And he is in excruciating pain, a 10-year process in a leg brace can't walk.
They went to every prayer service they could go to. And I found this incredibly interesting in
looking at these miracles. None of these people had an immediate healing right away. It was a journey
for them, which we could talk more about. But he ended up going to a prayer service, the final
prayer service in this block of all these prayer services, his wife is pushing him to go. He doesn't
want to go. He's tired of being prayed over and having people lay hands on him because he wasn't
getting healing. And at this prayer service, he not only was healed, he walked out of that prayer
service without the brace, and we interviewed this man. And this is a guy who went for 10 years
struggling and suffering. Excuse me. I have held the brace. He came on my show,
We were in the TBN studio.
I can't believe this is in your documentary.
This is amazing.
This is amazing.
And folks, this is part of the mystery.
Why did it take so many prayers and so many of this desperation?
We don't know the answer, but we're just reporting on the facts.
I'll be right back talking to Billy Hallowell.
You can check this out, this film at CBN.com slash supernatural.
Welcome back to our friend, Billy Hallowell.
Okay, CBN has done it again.
they have a documentary on miracles.
And Billy, you were just talking about a case that's in this where I have interviewed.
Maybe Chris Himes, my producer can pull this up and we can re-air it.
But I've had a number of these kinds of interviews on my program.
We do a Miracle Monday thing.
And the guy that you're talking about, I met him, a friend of mine knew him or something.
And so he came to my attention.
He came into the studio and told the story.
And it's one of these crazy stories.
You just think, how can you not believe in miracles when you hear this story?
So, folks, if you missed it on my program, tune into investigating the supernatural because
I'm convinced, honestly, that it's an issue that there are people who don't want to believe
this stuff, and they just look away, they blow it off.
When you look at this stuff, it builds your faith and makes you understand there is no doubt
there are miracles.
The only real question is, why did so-and-so get prayed for it and nothing happened,
and why did so-and-so-go- prayed for it and something happened?
And that's a mystery. We can't pretend we have easy answers.
No, we can't. And look, we go back to that story about the woman who went on that 12-year
journey in scripture, bleeding and desperate. And, you know, I'm sure it says in scripture,
she spent all of her money, she went through all of her things, and she's that desperate.
She clearly had been praying, I'm sure. And it was that moment with Jesus that changed everything.
We also have to address, which we do in the film, the fact that not everybody gets a healing
on this side of eternity. Why is that? I have to tell you, the thing that stuck out to me the most,
and you, I mean, you look at a lot of miracles, so I'm sure you've seen this too.
The people who got the miracles in this documentary, and again, it took time.
They were persistent.
They did not give up.
They kept fighting.
And I don't want to say that to say that if you're doing those things, you're going to get the miracle.
Again, we don't know the mysteries of why it doesn't always happen.
But they showed up again and again and again.
If they went to a prayer service and the pastor didn't pray over them, they would find his hotel room,
knock on the door, bring him out in his robe and say, please pray over my husband.
That's the kind of desperation we see in scripture with that woman,
for Jesus. And it made me, it was convicting to me because I said, as a Christian, before this
documentary, would I have that same faith? Would I show up in that same way with that same persistence?
And I think if I'm honest, I would have to say probably not beforehand, but after seeing that
and experiencing those stories, I've changed in that area for sure.
Well, this brings up something. This is kind of the sore point for a lot of people, and for me as well,
because oftentimes Christians have very cavalier answers.
Like they go, oh, you just need to do this.
Oh, you just need to do that.
I want to say emphatically, we don't know what you need to do.
We can only tell you experiences that people have been through.
Some of them work.
Some of them don't.
There's a mystery.
There is a great mystery here, folks.
And we need, I think Christians need to be comfortable with mystery.
and say, I'm not going to pretend that there's a secret formula, if only I unlock the secret formula.
You know, so when you tell a story about persistence, that's good unless people say, oh, I know the thing.
I just need to do this and this and this and this.
And then which you just said, because folks, we don't know.
I know people.
There's a friend here in Connecticut where I go to their church.
She prayed for her husband who was ill for 40 years.
and he died this last year.
Wow.
She has not lost her faith.
She even believed that God spoke to her, that he would be healed.
We have to be comfortable with mystery, folks.
We have to say, God is God.
He loves us.
We have to praise him in all circumstances
because it's not about getting healed.
At the end of the day, let's be honest,
if you believe in Jesus, you get healed
because you go to glory and you're going to have a resurrection body
and everything's going to be amazing.
Like, that's real.
That's real.
I think we have to keep perspective on this because I know there are many people
that would make a doctrine and say, well, then you need to pray harder.
You need to fast.
You need to fast.
Or you're sinning too much or you've caused this.
I mean, there's that whole argument that you've caught, you know.
And it's interesting what you're saying, 100%.
We actually deal with this in the documentary because not all of the stories
and the way you would think in this documentary.
And that is the part that was really inspiring for me because here's the deal.
The only recipe, because 100% agree with everything you said, the only recipe,
that leads us to any kind of success in this area, and it has to do with our faith more generally,
is that we trust God. You have to fully give yourself over to God and say, I want this healing,
I'm praying for it. I'm going to be persistent in it, but I may not get it, and I'm going to be
okay, and this is such a hard thing for us to do as humans. I'm going to be okay no matter what
happens because God has me, and I'm going to rest in his plan, and I think that level of trust,
that's what we build to in our faith. That's what we're aspiring to, but it can be very difficult.
But again, the healing is going to happen, whether it's on this side or the other side, is really the question.
Well, that's exactly right.
And I always want to be honest with people because I think that, again, you find some people that they reject the miraculous, whether it's an atheist or a believer that's just kind of cynical in that area or they have some theology that says, nah, we don't do that.
Okay, that's not good.
but we do have to be honest about as much as there is the miraculous and we see healing and miracles
happening, we have to be comfortable with the fact that sometimes you pray and pray and pray
and nothing happens. And so what do you do with that? I have a very dear friend. He's been on this
program many, many times, Ken Fish. He sees constant miraculous stuff. But I have had him pray for
three friends who were dying, all of them died. None of them was miraculously healed. I can't think of
anybody who's more effective in praying than my friend Ken Fish. So I just think that we have to keep
our eyes on the Lord knowing that he can do miracles, but that he doesn't always do them the way we
want. So there's this tension. I guess I want to say that. Folks, before I go to the break here, I want to
remind you, we're doing a fundraiser with food for the poor.

But we really do need your help.
Folks, welcome back.
I was mentioning my Miracles book.
It's just been brought to my attention.
that you can get it insanely cheaply.
If you go to my store.com, that's Mike Lindell's website,
my store.com, the hardcover is like $10.
It's like a $30 book or a $27 book.
$10 if you use the code Eric at my store.com.
Again, my store.com use the code Eric.
My Miracles book is there.
I'm talking to our friend Billy Hallowell,
who has created a documentary film investigating the supernatural.
You can see it at CBN.com slash supernatural.
Billy, I really do believe we're in the middle of a revival
and that your documentary is part of it,
that more and more people are open to the idea of God,
of healing, of the miraculous.
What led you?
I asked you this before, and I never let you answer.
What led you to make this film?
Yeah, I love that question,
because you know over the years,
I've tackled a lot of hard topics like angels and demons and deliverance.
You know, I wrote the book playing with fire years ago.
And I'm always, God always sort of attracts me to these topics that are difficult.
And this issue of miracles, it really came up as we were talking about different documentary ideas.
And the supernatural in general, because we're also working on some other projects.
In fact, angels and demons will be the next one that we tackle after this.
And really wanting to investigate it from a journalist Christian perspective and do it in a different way.
This documentary is different from things people,
have seen in this space because of the approach we took to it. And that's the reaction we're hearing.
But, you know, really God paved the way for this entire thing. And I think what you just said is so key.
You know, why did we do it? I think we ended up doing this. We started it in 2023. And here we are now
with it out. I think God has been moving. We know about Asbury, everything that happened that year and
everything we're watching on college campuses right now. I mean, there's such a hunger because I think
people and especially young people are realizing they have been lied to that there is more than what
they're seeing in front of them more than the material that this whole notion of make up your own
morality make up whatever you believe in and you just go with it it doesn't work and so they're sort
of lost in the middle of nowhere and they're hearing this message of truth and I think we're watching
people come alive because of that and the miracles that we see in life are just part of that evidence
that point people further towards this so I think this is part of God's bigger plan there are lots of other
great projects on this topic as well like your book and others and so it's been a real blessing to be able to
just be a part of telling these stories at such a crazy moment that I couldn't have even predicted
two years ago. Well, it's, it is exciting. I want to, I want to talk to you more about what is in
this documentary investigating the supernatural folks. You can find it at CBN.com slash supernatural.
What, what other stuff? What kind of stories do you tell in here? Yeah, you know, I mentioned the brain
tumor story, which is really interesting because it's a, it's a neuroscientist who ends up having this
tumor and finding this healing. But we also deal, and I think we sort of hinted at this before,
Dr. Chauncey Crandall, who's an internist and a cardiologist down in Florida. He has a healing
ministry, incredible story. And his journey actually deals with a man who came back from the dead,
very literally, a man who was dead for 40 minutes, clinically dead, being prepared to go to the morgue.
And, you know, this particular doctor felt God, as he's walking out of the room, they're getting ready
to take this body out. He feels,
God say to him, go back and pray for that man. And I won't spoil all the details, but we interviewed
that man who had been dead for 40 minutes in this documentary and told his story. And so we were dealing
with a lot of different types of miracles, the paralysis that was healed, the brain tumor, and then
you have this man who's brought back. But Dr. Crandall's story is one that also has some very
difficult elements that deal with some of those questions of why aren't there always healings.
And so, again, that was important for us to deal with because you don't want to want to
whitewash that. It's a very real issue that we all experience, that heartbreak of not getting the
miracle that we want. It's funny because I've become friends with Dr. Chauncey Crandall and his story,
he's been on this program. Chris Heimes, my producer, needs to find this and we need to run these
because we want to do a miracle Monday every Monday because people need to be encouraged in their faith.
These are insane stories, folks. This is, I mean,
Chauncey Crandall, he's one of the, like, top doctors in the country.
He's amazing.
So when he tells you his story that a guy was dead, pronounced dead,
and they're like, you know, washing the body, sending it to the morgue,
but Chauncey Crandall walks out of the room and God speaks to him and says,
go back and pray one more time.
He had prayed more than once, nothing.
God tells him, go back one more time.
So this is now humiliating.
I have to go back.
Like the nurses and everybody think I'm insane already.
Yeah.
He's been pronounced dead.
They're cleaning the body to send it to the morgue.
And no oxygen to the brain.
And this is part of the, you know, when you're dead that long,
even if you get a heartbeat back, which seems pretty unlikely after 40 minutes,
the idea that you would be functional after that is insane.
And so there's multiple miracles going on here.
The heartbeat, the fact that Jeff Markin, this man,
was able to sit down and do an interview with us as though nothing ever happened.
him and you'll you'll see the ins and I mean there's so much more to both of their stories you interviewed
the guy yeah so yes so we actually have and that's why this is different I mean we really went deep on
these stories because we wanted to pull the full story and anybody we could find who was attached to
the story we wanted to bring them in so yes he is part of this documentary as well that's that is really
I'm looking forward to that more than anything to see the guy because I've heard the story from
Dr. Crandall's point of view but to actually hear the story from the point of view of the man who was a
corpse. Again, on this program, I've had a few of these stories, people who were absolutely corpses,
and then God sends life back into their bodies. Look, just to be clear, folks, because we're at a time,
if you believe in God, if you believe a God created the universe, try to think about how small an
atom is, and he created atomic structure with electrons this moment going around nuclei.
You created the universe. If you understand who God is, the idea that,
that he would do a miracle like raising the dead or healing, that is nothing. It is less than
nothing when you think of who God is. So it's important we understand clearly what we're talking about.
If you don't believe that there's any God, well then, okay, but if you believe in any kind of God
who created anything, he can do absolutely anything. And a healing miracle is a very small thing
when you think of what the God of the Bible has done.
Anyway, Billy, we're out of time.
I'm just excited that you've made the film.
Congratulations on the film.
Folks, you can see it at CBN.com slash supernatural.
Do not forget.
We're trying to raise money with food for the poor.
We need everyone who listens to this program to be involved in that.
Please go to metaxistalk.com.

Very important.
Metaxistalk.com. You'll see the banner at the top of the page.
Important that everybody participate, Metaxistock.com. Please join us.
Billy Hallwell, my friend, God bless you. Congratulations.
Thank you so much. Always good to see you, Eric.
Trouble you again to join us in the Food for the Poor campaign.
For some reason, I don't know how these things work.
We have over the weeks talking about this only persuaded 44 of you
to join us.
And I know that more than 44 people
listen to the program. So I need
your help. We need
your help in raising
money. These are the poorest of the poor
in Central America.
And these are, it's literally kids
suffering from malnutrition. So
it's, you know, our command
in scripture to help the least of these. It's very
clear and simple. This is one of those cases,
which is real simple. Some things are
not simple and people argue about it. But this, I think everybody can agree that it's incumbent
on us to feed the poorest of the poor who can't feed themselves, where children are suffering
from malnutrition. So in order to do that, you can do a couple of things. We have a phone number
and we have a website. So our website is metaxis talk.com. And you'll see the banner. It says
feed their future. Metaxistock.com feed their future. There's a phone number 844-864-6-6-7-3, 8-4-6-7-3.
We're trying to persuade everybody to give $100, which feeds a kid for a year, literally feeds a child for a year.
844-863-4673, 844-8663-4-6-7-3.
The website is metastalk.com, metaxistalk.com.
If you want to go there, you'll see the banner.
And you can follow the links.
Or you can text my name, my last name, Metaxus, to 51555.
Text Metaxus to 515-5-5-5-5-text Metaxus to 5-1-5-5-5-5-5.
taxes to 5155 and a few other things before we go to the break.
But I want to say that the cruise, a couple of friends of ours who were in Austin,
Texas contacted me yesterday or was it said, I don't know, was this weekend and said,
we want to go on the cruise and we just went to the link and it says it's sold out.
It is not sold out.
So I'm not sure what's going on, Inspiration, who runs this.
You can contact them directly.
But if you go to the website, Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise,
ericmataxis.com slash cruise.
If you click on it, there's a phone number you can call.
If it says sold out, it ain't sold out.
And I'm not sure.
The best thing there is to call the number.
It's 844-808-2058-8-8-8-8-48-8-4.
848082058.
That's the number to call, and they'll take care of you.
That's the best way.
You have it to be again, 844-808-2058.
844-8.
If you want to contact the folks who are running this cruise that we're going to be doing in June to the Greek Islands,
you can dial directly 844808-2058.
eight or just go to ericmettaxas.com slash cruise and you'll see it there.
But we really want to get the word out because before they really do shut it down and get sold
out, I want everybody who wants to go to go.
And it just gets more exciting the more I find out.
I was just the other day with my daughter looking at the excursions that you do.
I mean, oh my gosh, this is, anyway, we'll be talking more about that.
And I want to encourage you, again, folks, food for the poor.
we really need your help seriously.
So please go to metaxis talk.com.
You'll see the banner.
Metaxistalkis talk.com.
Please do it today, folks.
