Did you like your gravy thick and rich and loaded with creamy mushrooms? If no one was looking, would you chug the whole gravy boat? Chug, chug, chug. Chug!
Starting point is 00:00:40 Chug! Stay tuned. Here comes Mr. Chugg-a-Lug-Ug himself, Eric Ma, Texas. Folks, before we get back to John Zmirak, I want to remind you of our friends at Medeshire. Have you heard of Medi-Share? It's a community of people like you, if you're a nice person. And Medi-Share basically is offering this thing right now called Meta-Metashare-65-plus. the idea behind MediShare 65 plus is that health care costs are rising, especially if you're a senior,
Starting point is 00:01:17 you're on a fixed income. And even if you already have Medicare parts A and B, there's out of pocket, there's deductibles. So the good news, Medeshire 65 plus is designed to fill those gaps. It's only $99 a month up to age 75. So only $99 per month to cover all of this. extra stuff. If you want to find out if it's for you, call 86688 Bible. That's 86688 Bible. 86688 a Bible. And before we go to Johns Merak, I want to also remind you of our friends at the Herzog Foundation. I keep saying, you know, we've got a lot of work to do, right? So the work we have
Starting point is 00:02:01 to do goes far beyond politics. Everybody now ought to know you better be involved in politics. But We need to be involved in everything else, like our kids' educations. So we need to be doing homeschooling as much as possible. If you're interested in the thought of doing homeschooling, and I can't recommend it enough, I travel the country and I meet young people who are homeschooled, they are the most grounded, poised, educated young people in the country. They're going to take over the country, and they are the hope of this nation. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:02:35 But if you're interested in homeschooling or you're interested in I would say the next best thing, quality K through 12 Christ-centered education. If you're interested in either of those things, you need help. The Herzog Foundation is there to help you. So go to Herzog Foundation.com. You should know about the Herzog Foundation. So I talk about them almost every day. Herzog Foundation.com.
Starting point is 00:03:00 They want to help you. They want to help you figure out how to do this. Herzog Foundation.com is the website. please write it down, Herzog Foundation.com. And finally, don't forget about CSI. We've just got a few days left to free slaves in the sedan. It is vital that everyone who's not yet participated, participate in the next couple of days. So please go to metaxis talk.com.
Starting point is 00:03:24 You'll see the banner. This is a great opportunity for you, folks. Metaxistalk.com. Even if you say, I just want to give $10 a month. Whatever you want to do, go to metaxis talk.com, click on the banner. will tell you more details at the end of the program. Okay, John Smirak, we're talking about a lot of stuff. I'm going to have to have you back tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:03:43 But you're talking about the situation in Great Britain. And Liz Truss, I wanted to say that I just interviewed Michael Pack on the program. He has done a documentary about Liz Truss. And I'm fascinated to get to know the landscape. and it's interesting what you've just shared about Liz Trust, that there are heroic figures in England. But she's, of course, now out of power. Do you think she's going to run again?
Starting point is 00:04:14 She very courageously is speaking up about the Pakistani rape gangs that are terrorizing British working class girls. And that is touching the third rail of British politics. I've got to, I mean, it's like the Ark of the Covenant in Raiders of Law. the Lost Ark, touch it and die, be melted on screen. By the way, did you know that the Ark of the Covenant is also mentioned in the Bible?
Starting point is 00:04:43 I know being a Catholic, you might be confused by that. Was that in the two towers or the return of the case? I don't think it's in the extended version. Exactly. Exactly. In the extended version of the return. That's right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Thank you. Thank you. So, yeah, Liz Trust is one of the. only people with an establishment reputation in Britain who seems to be showing any courage. She's maybe the only man left in the British Conservative Party. Britain right now is kind of where the U.S. was on January 7, 2021. And the lawfare is still ahead. The uphill fight is still ahead.
Starting point is 00:05:32 You know, remember how shocked and depressed we were after the police riot on January 6th that attacked peaceful protesters. Oh, I want to say literally yesterday. So yesterday was January 6th. Yesterday, MSNBC and CNN were repeating the lies about January 6th, 2021. They were talking about, you know, Trump people beating cops with fire extinguishers. And I'm sitting there watching this astonished. When in fact it was the opposite, it was cops spraying little old ladies with water cannon and tear gas. But John, I will never, I hope I am never used to this lying. In other words, I can't go, oh, yeah, CNN, oh yeah, the Democrats, oh, yeah, MSNBC.
Starting point is 00:06:25 It's unbelievable. It's also, oh, yeah, Fox News. Fox News is the worst of them. As I've repeated to you, said here before, Fox News is what the deep state relies on when it wants to fool what it views as the Robs and the Rednecks and the NASCAR goofballs and the Maga types, who they hold in contempt, who they think of as Neanderthal. When they have to throw some red meat to the Robs, Fox News marches up and does it. I would rather watch North Korean state television than Fox News. I think everybody should be watching Real America's voice, going online, watching Tucker Carlson, follow Elon Musk on X. Or Newsmax, ladies and gentlemen. Have you heard of Newsmax? I mean, I have to say, if you need to watch something on TV, go to Newsmax.
Starting point is 00:07:17 But I tweeted today, I just want to say, when you're discussing Fox News, today, Fox News on Fox News.com, they're pushing this alarming. Carpola about there's some respiratory virus in China and there's no cure for it. So I look up the article and it's complete garbage, but it's clickbait and it's pushing this alarmist stuff like, oh, you better, you better be scared. There's this kind of a flu and a bird flu. I just thought, I mean, honestly, I am very disappointed in Fox News. Not all the time, but sometimes it is, it's unbelievable. But when they called Arizona, when they called Arizona for Joe Biden in 2020, I turned off Fox News and we'll never turn it on again. Look, I'm basically with you on that. Let me, but let me just ask you, what about purchasing Greenland?
Starting point is 00:08:11 I think Donald Trump must be getting advice from very serious national security people who are telling them, China is trying to strangle us. It's trying to take control of the Panama Canal. It's trying to take control of what the northern shipping routes, the Northwest Passage that goes above Canada past Greenland is becoming more and more important as the climate gets warmer. There's going to be a lot of oil and gas up there. There's going to be enormous shipping going through there. We do not want China controlling the North Sea and the Panama Canal. So I think if Donald Trump is being advised that we need Greenland and we need the Panama Canal, I believe it. But I just love the fact that he throws us.
Starting point is 00:08:59 out there just to freak out the left, to freak out European leaders, and that he says things like this. Like, we need to take Panama Canal back. We need to take Greenland. What about Greenland? What about Canada? It's very funny to me, because there's a level of brazenness that simply doesn't exist in American public life apart from Donald Trump. Because Donald Trump is actually an honest man who actually loves his country. Most of our leaders don't care about the country. They care about their European friends and their Chinese friends who they meet in business class lounges or they meet them in Davos and they are citizens of international business class. They're not citizens of the United States. And they hold ordinary Americans in an astronomical contempt. No French aristocrat in 1788 had the kind of
Starting point is 00:09:50 contempt for the peasants that are IQ 105 sexually depraved, atheist, deletive, atheist, elites have for us. All right, John, that does it for you today, but we want to have you back tomorrow. There's a lot more to talk about. Folks, we got Bryce Eddie coming up in a moment. I've just recorded him at Amfest. That was great. Do not forget about CSI, folks. Do not forget Christian Solidarity International. Go to metaxis talk.com. Starting point is 00:12:34 For example, I'm sitting here with my friend Bryce Eddie, and I was just saying, hey, Bryce, actually this is true of most friends. I just think of them as my friends. I don't know how to describe them, but you're a particularly tricky case. How can we tell my audience, you have a podcast. I do. I do. Yeah, you've been on my show a few times, which has been fun.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Yeah, I mean, I sit on one of Charlie's boards here at TPUSA. I got to know Charlie years ago doing some security. consulting. When the conservatives are, you know, popping off of commercial flights and people are attacking them, you know, all of a sudden we realize that, okay, we got to protect these folks and make sure that they share our values and, you know, building teams around those guys. And, you know, I've been in the business world for many years and, you know, kind of a serial entrepreneur and, you know, I own a jujitsu school, which is why my ears are ugly. That's why they're covered up right now. He owns a jiu jitsu school.
Starting point is 00:13:31 I think we'll just leave it at that. I want to be clear with my audience. I do not own a jiu-jitsu school. I just thought I'd let that, you know, let that bombshell drop. Okay, so we were going to talk about, I mean, in a few weeks, if nothing crazy happens, if aliens don't land on the White House lawn, Trump will be inaugurated. And I keep saying we've just crossed, we will have crossed the starting line. We have tremendous work to do. We've got to take a flamethrower to the deep state, to the parasite, to the bloated tick on the body politic.
Starting point is 00:14:12 So how do we do that? What do you see lying ahead for us? So, you know, one of the other things that I do. I sit on the board for the Center for Security Policy, which analyzes as a think tank, you know, all of the existential threats to the U.S. faces, right? and that list is long. And the first of those threats are internal threats. And if we don't straighten out our election system, if we don't immediately reduce the size of our government, you know, get the bureaucrats to, you know, be pushed back significantly enough, then we're going to lose because they're insidious.
Starting point is 00:14:49 And so everything that needs to be done right now needs to be about getting those cabinet positions filled, getting kind of the we the people will to be prominent. And, you know, let's put these bureaucrats back on their heels. Well, yes, that's for starters, right? And you wonder what it's going to be like. I don't even know what are the mechanics of these nominations. I mean, does it begin on January 20th?
Starting point is 00:15:21 When do we begin? Well, I mean, well, truly it began on November 5th, right? So there's the period of time where they are suggesting, here are the candidates. And then they'll throw out names and you see how the media reacts. You see what the Senate signals. You know, you start to see that kind of a thing. And you capitalize on whatever momentum you hoped to have from that election to start putting in those picks. Traditionally, they would, you know, try to get as many non-controversial people as they could so they can just kind of sail through.
Starting point is 00:15:52 And then nothing ever gets done. Trump has taken a very aggressive tactic, so we already know who this list is, and it's people like Cash Patel and Pete Hegesath and people who are aggressively going to kind of take a chainsaw to some of these out of control. Which is what we voted for. That's right. That's right. A dream come true that we would have a president willing to enact the will of we the people. Kind of shocking that it's gotten so bad that it's shocking. Yeah, I mean, and really truly, I think we have this one chance right now. Oh, this is, totally.
Starting point is 00:16:30 This is the turning point, you know, for America. If we can get these characters in there and we can get these candidates in and we can start to really, you know, dial up a, you know, the whole Doge thing with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramoswamy, we've already seen that be powerful. everybody went out of their minds over the last few days based on the continuing resolution and the overspending. And we saw that crash and burn as a result. And so that brings me a lot of hope. Well, I was going to say, it's exciting that we have, I mean, you couldn't have dreamt. I mean, if somebody had said a year ago, a year ago, that Elon Musk is going to come on board Team Trump. He's going to be at a Trump rally, and he's going to offer his zillion-dollar brain and energy to help fix America.
Starting point is 00:17:30 You're smoking crack. That's insane, and it's happening. Yeah, well, I'm sure you saw the pushback right now. The narrative is, we didn't vote for Elon Musk. He bought the presidency. And the truth is, yes, we did. Because when you vote for Donald Trump, right, you vote during the campaign for the 5,000 people he's going to be bringing in. And in this case, it's never been like this before because he's assembled such a powerful group of people who understand business, who are innovators, who understand the barriers that we've had to success here in this country, who understand that we're bankrupt, that we are on the verge of total and utter collapse.
Starting point is 00:18:11 And, you know, it's a painful process to turn that around, but we can. Well, it's the same with RFK Jr. What a shock. I mean, I think you know I interviewed him at Socrates in the city back in June. And this was long before anybody would dream that he would come on Team Trump, right? Right. And but in the interview with him, which I did for Socrates in the city, I said at the end of it, I said, listen, in the rare event that you don't make it into the White House, you know, would you consider serving your country in a Trump administration? and he demurred for a while and gave me excuses and da-da-da-da-da-da-da. But I kept pushing, and I said, look, for your country.
Starting point is 00:18:53 This is for your country. And so when the news came out that he did that, I said, this is too good to be true. I can't get over how wonderful this is. Now, I don't think it's because I said that to him, but maybe I contributed. But the point is, here you have somebody as out of the box as it gets. Yeah. Willing to talk about the stuff that no one else, the entrenched medical establishment, the FDA, big farmer, they don't want to talk about this stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:17 And he is willing to, you know, look under the hood. And this is an exciting moment for America. I can hardly get over it. But think about it from the other perspective. How bad do you have to be to push, you know, him out, to push Joe Rogan away, to, you know, push all of these people that were essentially mainstream liberal voices? I mean, how far did you have to go into? just craziness for them to all abandon you.
Starting point is 00:19:48 But that's the point, and that's what's so delightful, is that, you know, the devil always overplays his hand. And that's kind of what we saw. I mean, the wokeness got so ridiculous that, I mean, you have J.K. Rowling militantly against the trans lunacy. This is J.K. Rowling, and she's being attacked. You know, you have Martina Navratilova against the, all of these people that disagree with us on all kinds of stuff
Starting point is 00:20:13 have been awakened by the madness. Yeah, so, you know, they just played and have released now under Daily Wires brand, the gender, the identity crisis documentary, which I was in. I forgot that I was in it until they played the trailer the other day because we filmed most of it a year or so ago.
Starting point is 00:20:32 But during that time, to say what we were saying against the idea of putting kids on puberty blockers and things like that, I mean, you know, we were being canceled like crazy. I had clients being called. They were, you know, people, I mean, we're spending their energy and their time to say that I was spreading hate. Because I said that it's evil to tell children that happiness lies on the other side of puberty blockers and genital mutilation.
Starting point is 00:20:59 And that was a radical thing now. Well, look what's happened. You know, we've turned such a corner on that that now people understand how, you know, what, I mean, what lunatics do you have to be to think that children can make those. Oh, my gosh. A decision to sterilize themselves, you know, when they're 12 or 13 years old. It is disturbing, Bryce, to think. And again, I have to often just block these thoughts out of my mind because it's too disturbing that there could be people that foolish, that there could be parents that unbelievably foolish.
Starting point is 00:21:31 It's definitely shocking. Well, you know, I mean, listen, we're Christians, we're believers. And so, you know, we understand that this whole entire battle, and we can't lose the perspective. But it really is against the dark forces of the. enemy and that's who's animating, you know, all of all of these ideologies and, you know, pushing these people, you know, in that direction and, and, you know, how we're going to get out of that. And this is why I'm really hoping for, you know, with this administration and with kind of a change in direction, you know, we need a revival for Christ. And if we have that, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:03 it almost doesn't matter what laws are on the books. If you've got people's hearts changing, you know, then this nation is turning around. But, you know, what we had to do was, round one, which is win against the Marxists. Well, yeah. Well, it's funny, though, because I sort of, there was a time when I bought the idea that if somebody becomes a Christian, the Holy Spirit will take care of the rest. I no longer believe that, because I feel like many, many, many Christians, including Christian leaders, have been the problem. Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:22:32 They may believe in the bodily resurrection, but they don't go much past that into understanding how God would have them think about everything else. We're going to go to a break here, but we'll keep talking. Talking to Bryce Eddie, this is the Eric Mataxis show. Folks, if you're not getting it, go to Eric Mataxis.com to get my newsletter, a lot of interesting stuff there, including this conversation on video. We'll be right back. Hey there, folks.

Ship absolutely free. Mypillow.com. Use code Eric. Folks, welcome back talking to Bryce. Eddie. We're talking about a lot of stuff, a lot of good stuff. Where should we go from here? You know, you, when we were finishing the last segment, you know, we were talking about pastors being the problem. And you and I have both, you know, gotten into it with the woke pastor crowd. And, you know, I would have never thought in a million years that you would have pastors advocating for open borders and, you know, and doing that based on the idea of welcome the stranger. And these folks do not believe in any sovereignty. they do not believe in holding people to any legal standards, moral standards.
Starting point is 00:25:03 I hate to say it, but look, in a normal world, you'd say they're idiots. I mean, because honestly, you're showing the world how you know nothing. And then you know a little theology, you know a little bit of the Bible, but somehow you've been in a bubble where you don't really, you don't deal with reality. So the idea that you could take a verse out of context, and throw away the concept of national sovereignty. It's embarrassing to me as a Christian that there are Christian leaders that their thoughts are that shallow. It's just stunning to me.
Starting point is 00:25:42 I mean, if they said, look, I don't know anything, I wouldn't blame them. But they talk like they know what they're saying, and they're saying very foolish things. Yeah, well, I mean, I'm convinced that many of them are agents of the deep state. There are some of them that we know, and Megan Basham did a great job in uncovering, you know, some of the money that's behind some of these movements where they're, you know, saying some of these silly things. And I threw down the gauntlet on a couple of them where they were condemning, you know, Donald Trump and acting as if they were a neutral party just there for Christ. And I said, in just a few weeks, you're going to be coming out for Kamala Harris. I mean, let's not pretend that you aren't an agent of that. And, of course, they did.
Starting point is 00:26:26 And we're talking about David French. Yep. We're talking about Russell Moore. But I have to say I have more and more and more contempt on a daily basis for the evangelical world than I ever did. I mean, I'm just stunned at all of these, not all, but innumerable megachurches that have just proved themselves to be useless, to be empty. And a lot of it has been the feminization over time of even the picture that we have of Christ. Yes. And, you know, I mean, hey, he was a capital of Lord's army. I mean, this is not, this is a strong man that worked with his hands that, you know, wasn't a pushover. And the, the, and he wasn't nice. You know, nice is a weakness, right? Yeah. Nice is a value that comes from passivity or comes from a place of weakness. Kindness is what Christ was. And Christ was kind, but that came from a position of strength. And we need to return our church to that or else they're going to continue to be these, you know, hollow box buildings that, you know, preach just a self-improvement message.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Well, that's the whole point. It's a self-improvement message. It's all market-tested. And it's got nothing to do with God's calling on us as his church. But it's become more and more horrifying to me. As time passes, you just think, like, what is this? I mean, if this is what church is, I'd rather be a pagan. You know, because pagans have more common sense and patriots have more common sense than a lot of these pastors.
Starting point is 00:27:55 You don't even need to be a woke pastor. You just need to be a soft, useless kind of pastor that doesn't live out your faith in a heroic way. It's kind of, it's shocking to me. Well, you know, it's interesting because you are seeing the movements of, you know, Christian groups. And I know this within kind of my world of the mixed martial arts and things like that. You're seeing men, you know, now seeking out Christianity from those circles as they're starting to realize that there's a fight to be had. Yeah. And I'm loving seeing that these guys are like, okay, you know, maybe.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Maybe this isn't a wimpy thing. But see, that's the whole point. It's like that kind of Christianity they could be interested in. Right. But, you know, when I think of, you know, on the Simpsons, the Reverend Lovejoy, that's what a lot of men in America think of the church. And they're right. It's just like, it's just a bunch of useless, you know. Shallow and vapid.
Starting point is 00:28:44 It is. And so, but something has happened in the culture where clearly there's a shift. And I'm very encouraged. I mean, how it's going to play out, I don't know. but I know that it will. Yeah, no, I'm excited. I think that we have, though, going back to our earlier segment, we have two years of a momentum building time
Starting point is 00:29:08 that if we don't get aggressive, if we don't go and judiciously, you know, carve out the waste in our government, if we don't do that, this country will not last. But we have two years in which I think we have the sweet spot window. And listen, I will, I've said it before, I'll say it again, I know that it's the Lord's will that we win. Amen. This is not like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:33 No, no, no. I know it's the Lord's will. Now, we have to do our part. And we've got to fight. That's right. But I know that we would not have, things wouldn't have gone as they've gone. I mean, if you look at it like, you know, it's like the poetic justice. Trump almost being murdered.
Starting point is 00:29:49 All of this stuff that we've seen, I see God's hand. He wants us to restore America. to its biblical foundations. I mean, to me, it's kind of obvious, so it's a war, but praise God, we get to fight in this good war. It's like the revolution. It was a holy cause.
Starting point is 00:30:06 You know, we want self-government, we want to end tyranny. We're repeating that. In some ways, this is a reprisal of the revolution, the way I see it. What we're going through right now. Yeah, I could not agree more, and I consider myself blessed
Starting point is 00:30:21 to be living in this time where we can do this. Absolutely. No, this is a golden age, and we've all been through the last four years have been hell. It's been horrifying. But all things work together for good for those that love the Lord and called according to these purposes. Romans 828, I see it. The election had to be stolen. We had to have COVID tyranny. We had to have all of this lunacy happening. You know, people in prison for J-6. All this stuff had to happen so that Americans would wake up. Enough of them would wake up. we're at a time. Praise God. Bryce Eddy, thank you for being my guest. Hey, thank you, brother. I appreciate you. And to God be the glory. Amen. Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to Kevin McCullough.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Some of you, I don't know who, I just say this theoretically. Some of you out there listening to this program, you may know Kevin McCullough by another name. That name is Votesodramis. Thank you, Chris Himes. Votes Jadamus. But today, we're just talking to Kevin. So, Kevin, here's the thing. You and I were fans of Christian Solidarity International.
Starting point is 00:31:49 They're doing amazing work. It doesn't really get more amazing than freeing slaves. If somebody says, I'm against slavery. How would I free a slave? Good luck. I have no idea how many years and the effort that CSI has put into creating the network of people who can reach out to these Falani herdsmen, to these radical Muslims who own Christian slaves.
Starting point is 00:32:15 They have done that. They are involved in this. All they need is for people listening to this program to step up and to give them whatever you can give them. Every $250 frees a slave and sets that person up in a life of freedom. This is an outrageous opportunity for us to leave. live out our faith. It's, it's just beautiful. As of today, we are only at 5% of our goal. I don't know, Kevin, how to exhort people to step up. I will give the phone number and the website is metaxis talk.com. You can see the banner. But I never know how to move people to do that
Starting point is 00:33:02 because it just seems to me like such a beautiful thing. I want everyone to participate. Not everybody can give $250 or $1,000 or whatever, but everybody can participate. You can give monthly, which is much easier if you say, well, we'll just do this every month and do it as a family or something. But Kevin, you have for years been involved with CSI and you know the work they do. I, there are very few organizations on planet Earth that I say that I genuinely love. But CSI is one of those organizations. And the reason that I do is because they, enter into a person's life where they are at the lowest point they can possibly be at, and when they work their miracle that Jesus allows them to work,
Starting point is 00:33:48 that person comes to a brand new place in this life that they never thought they could be. So let me just tell you about Abuk. A book is a woman who was taken when she was roughly six years old. She and her sister and her mom and her dad and her two brothers were all, victims of a raid on their village in the Sudanese Civil War. They were harshly rounded up. Their house was burned in front of them as they were forced to march towards Sudan. The Sudan, and now we have two countries, Sudan and South Sudan, but it was all one Sudan at the time, but into the north, they were forced to march. And she witnessed her father and her brothers both be shot and killed
Starting point is 00:34:36 in front of her as a six-year-old girl. She endured seeing her mother be gang raped at the hands of multiple Sudanese, Arab jihadis, that just took sport in it. It wasn't anything caring or nice at all. It was just, we're just doing it for fun. And out of that, she was taken to a village in the north, and then she was immediately sold from one slave master to another slave master. So she ended up kind of being ping ponged away from her sisters and her mother.
Starting point is 00:35:13 And she spent the next 17 years being ritually raped, abused, physically beaten, verbally accosted, starved much of the time. There was nothing more than crumbs for most days. If she ever spoke up to defend herself, it was more beatings. It was more lashings. When she reached the age of adulthood, she was told that in order to be a good Muslim woman, she had to go down to the little creek that was behind where the Flavestor's house was. She was given the rusted lid of a tid can, and she was told to circumcise herself.
Starting point is 00:35:53 And I'm trying to be as family-friendly as I can for those that are listening. But the idea that she had any autonomy, any sovereignty over her own decisions, any ability in her own life to speak for herself was robbed from her. And as time went by, she grew very depressed. She was raped repeatedly by not only the slave master, but the slave master's son. And in the process, became pregnant on more than one occasion. In the process of having those children, she weaned them, and then the slave master took them from her. So even the child that God had put inside of her body, she was not allowed to have. And then at one point in time, she was out retrieving water on a very hot day and a CSI Arab retriever was there.
Starting point is 00:36:42 He spotted her. He could kind of tell by looking at her that she was a slave. He engaged in negotiations with her owner. He was able to secure her release. She was able to be liberated in a CSI liberation push. She was able to go back to South Sudan where the first stop on the way back. They go to a recovery camp where they're given medical attention, counseling. They're allowed to remember their name.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Many of their names have been changed from their Christian name to their Muslim name. They're allowed to tell their story and write it down so they have a history of what they've been through. They're allowed to take the time needed to eat, to regain strength, to have medical things done if needed, to talk to counselors, et cetera. And then after that period of that season, and it's different for almost every slave that comes in. But after that season is kind of completed, then they're given what's called the bag of hope. and that's what the $250 provides. But it's not just a bag. It's way more than a bag.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Because you get a year's worth of sorghum grain. You get a year's worth of seed to plant for the following seasons years worth of sorghum grain. And then you get everything you need to start your life, tarps, blankets, utensils to garden and cook and clean and fish with. You get a Bible that's hopefully in your language. You get blankets to keep you cool in the time when the nights get very cold. There's a whole host of things that you're given. And not the least of which is, the last thing is a she-goat. Now, many times that she-goat can be mated with a male goat back in the village wherever you're relocated at.
Starting point is 00:38:13 And guess what? Two goats plus time makes more goats. So over time, you actually develop a little micro-enterprise for that person. And at the end of this, when they're given this package, then they are helped to be transported down to wherever their home is in South Sudan. And the party just begins. The church, the village, the family members, if there are any left, if not, former slaves that live in the same area, all come together. They have, they have, it's like the prodigal son on steroids. They cannot stop rejoicing that a slave has been released and returned home.
Starting point is 00:38:47 I cannot believe this. I mean, folks, what more do you need to hear? Go to metaxis talk.com, please. The phone number, you can dial it right now or write it down. 888-253-3522. 8-88-253-3522. Please, folks, do this. 8-88-253-3522 or go to metaxis talk.com.
Starting point is 00:39:13 God bless you. Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to my friend Kevin McCullough. We're talking about CSI. Kevin, you just told us such an amazing story. And I have to say... I just told you the first part of it. it. There's still more of it. There's more? Okay. Yeah. It is so moving to me that we get to do
Starting point is 00:39:51 something about this, which is why I exhort my audience. Folks, take advantage of this. Please take advantage of this. I don't know what you can give. I will say it again, anybody that can give big, like $15,000, which would free 60 slaves, I will, you know, spend the evening with you, have dinner. we can do this any place around the country. I just can offer my time and my evenings, which have become insanely rare that I get to do this. But I will do this.
Starting point is 00:40:23 It's one thing that I can do if anybody wants to give a big gift, tax deductible, $15,000. Most of us cannot afford that. But whatever you can afford, this is so beautiful. $250 does everything. So, Kevin, continue with the story. You've just got three minutes. So, a book, she went through the entire process.
Starting point is 00:40:41 And as she was being released and she got, to the camp and she got her stuff together. She said to the staff, what about the others? And as rejoicing as she was and as happy as she was to be back in her homeland and to be headed home to see her family, she was very, very concerned about the other slaves that were still there. Now, just up until about two years ago, CSI had no way of getting a child that had been born in slavery released. But as of two years ago, we have now had a few dozen of those children located and returned to their mothers to join them in their life in the homeland of South Sudan. And so that's part of what's going on.
Starting point is 00:41:26 There's another friend of Abooks that was liberated in the same liberation group as she was. And she was actually pregnant as she was being released. And she told the CSI worker at the border camp, she said, I don't have anything held against the baby that's in my body. God gave me this baby. My slave master made me pregnant, but God gave me this baby. And he's a gift. And I will spend my life being his good mother if God allows me to have him. These are the lives that you're stepping into.
Starting point is 00:42:00 These are the women who have had for years, prayers, secret, private prayers that they had to pray in private, asking God to liberate them, to free them, to give them their lives back. And many of them say, I didn't know if God would answer my prayer. but they have been answered and they are being answered. And before the end of the year, Eric, your listeners can take assurance of this. There is one more liberation that is just around the corner. We cannot release details on when it will happen or how it will happen or anywhere for the safety of those involved. But there is one coming. And if you give to Eric's show today, you will be part of that liberation.
Starting point is 00:42:35 And there will be hundreds of slaves liberated. We're doing this on my show as well. And it's not nearly as impressive as yours, Eric. but last year we came right up to the 5,000th slave human being that my listeners have helped give new lives to. And if you think about that, and if you think about how much potential every human life has, to give that gift to someone as a Christmas present this year, you couldn't do a better thing. So that's why we're all in.
Starting point is 00:43:02 The McCullas, we're not perfect at this, but over the last four years, we've made it our goal to liberate a slave once a month as part of our systematic giving plan as a household. And again, we're not perfect, but for the majority of those four years, we've been able to do that every month. And it's one of the best things we've ever done. Folks, I know that everybody's in a different place, but everybody can do something. Whatever you can do, please, folks, join us in this beautiful, beautiful thing. Go to metaxis talk.com. You'll see the banner there.
Starting point is 00:43:37 You click on it. It'll walk you through everything. And right now, we're going to hour two. I guess I just want to leave the phone number with you. 888-253-3522, 888-253-3522, or the website metaxistalk.com. Metaxistalk.com. You'll see the banner. God bless you, folks.
