Oh, thank you. Yes, Eric. Yeah, no, it's exciting because this is a unified effort. There is real power when people come together for something so incredibly important as this moment in joining together in prayer and fasting. To know that other people do it. To know that leaders are going to be doing it. To know that influencers, everybody should be involved in this. Everybody, whether it's going to this website and signing up or on their own, everybody should be anybody who cares about America and is out there talking and is out there hitting the streets, they need to really do this.

because here's the thing, you can do all the other things, but if we do not bring in the power of God in the center of this, there is no guarantee of anything. It doesn't matter how good the polls look or don't look. If we get back in our heels and we become spectators watching the election as opposed to spiritually changing the election, we're going to be in trouble. We're going to leave it to chance.

And right now, if you look at the election, This is really our first post-election presidential election, meaning it used to be in America that you'd say, okay, all we have to do is get more votes than the other person. This is different. Nobody knows what's going to happen on November 5th from a natural standpoint, right? Nobody knows, see, now we're gauging it not just on who gets the most votes, but we're gauging on how well will we stop any potential fraud. That was never America growing up. Isn't that amazing? Jay, no. It is.

It's a two-front war. We've never seen that before. We've never seen that before. You're quite right that even though I'm thinking about, oh, are we going to win the election? I'm also asking, are we going to win the election, even if we win the election? We could win the election and there could be fraud. There could be, listen, I've said this before. We're dealing with evil.

We're dealing with people that they will do literally anything to. stop Donald Trump. They don't even know why they want to stop Donald Trump. They're animated by a demonic delusion that he's Hitler and that they've got to stop him. They will do literally anything to stop him. They will lie. They will gaslight. They will project their evil onto us. This is so funny. I've mentioned it before. Bonhoeffer's like distant relatives and a bunch of Bonhofer scholars put out a statement worried that I am using Bonhofer's name to incite political violence. They're saying this, right?

So they've got some crazy idea in the head that, oh, there's going to be a J6 thing and all these MAGA people are not going to allow the election. Meanwhile, that is precisely what they would do if they could. They did it on J6. They'll do anything to cling to power. they'll lie about it. We have never faced this before. And I really think it's good because it forces us to see like, hey, hey, this is demonic, folks.

If you don't pray, if you don't understand what you're dealing with, you can't win in the natural. You're dealing with demonic forces. They do not respect truth. They have contempt for truth. They have contempt for our form of government. We've never dealt with this in America before. So you're exactly right. Right.

And I go through all of this in my letter to America First Leaders, Republican leaders, Democrat leaders. that that whole idea right now, that that's where we are right now. And when you're dealing with such evil, you just study evil in history, the spirit of hearing what worked throughout what was working in the leaders and in those movements throughout history is exactly what's working in America and the West right now. It's very, very clear. So there is no winning this in the natural. We can forget that.

There is no, hey, hopefully at the election, it'll go fine. and it'll go on. There's none of that. What there is is empowering people to do their job. So if people are spiritually prepared for the battle and they're strong, it'll turn the evil back at the gate. If they're not, we're going to have a repeat of 2020. It will be disastrous. And even if Trump would win, I mentioned this last week, the entire America First Movement, and every honest Democrat, every independent, everybody who's come on board has to be full engaged for a long period of time. And I wanted to mention some of we were talking about before, and that is the Democrats are not our enemies. The rank and file Democrat, our neighbors, our friends,

they are not our enemies. They're fellow Americans who have been caught up in something that they haven't fully realized. And I think that's just so important because, again, I'm like you. Had Joe Biden won a totally fair election, nobody would have been happier than not because I'm supporting Joe Biden, but because of America. If he did a great job, if this administration right now was doing an amazing job, I'd be thrilled. It really goes back to about our country. And we have let evil get so deeply rooted into the fabric of every aspect of our society

that we don't even know what this country looks like. We cannot predict what things will be like on December 1st. We don't know what will be, things will be like a year from now. And that's why praying and fasting and bringing the power of God into it is the only thing that is going to really break this evil trap that we're in. And as you and are saying, a lot of people are dealing on a surface level, oh, we've got to win the election. Well, how about dealing with the fact that you can't win an election if the other side is committed to stealing the election?

How about dealing with that? We've got to deal with that. We've got to deal with the lies. We've got to deal with the lies that came out. The COVID lies, the vaccine lies. the members of the intelligence community that said the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. These are despicable lies. And they are absolutely showing contempt for the American people.

Like, you're so stupid. We've got to deal with that because we, the people, are supposed to be the leaders of this country. And if we allow them to get away with that, then it's on us. Yeah, it's a mockery. And it's an affront to God. It's a lot of these things, the level of evil is so, it's such a high level that it's actually, they're literally lying to God's face, almost daring God. I remember when President Biden said, well, the only way I'm not going to run is if the Almighty

comes down and he's not going to do that. Well, like two weeks later, he was ousted, right? So this is a real challenge. And I think a lot of the people, there's a lot of leaders out there. the Democratic Party, they don't know the level they're caught up. And if you look at, you know, if you understand scripture, and I put this in the letter, they themselves are being used by higher levels of wickedness. They're just pawns in a much higher spiritual game because Paul talks about principalities and powers

and wickedness in high places, rulers in high places. And that's really where the battle is. That's just true. And I have never found it more easy to talk to people about good versus evil than now. If you have followed this program for a few years, you know that I watch Newsmax if I'm watching TV. It's basically either the Fox, it's not Fox, it's either Newsmax or Turner Classic movies. That's basically TV for me. So I'm thrilled to have in the studio, the CEO of Newsmax Chris Ruddy. Chris, welcome to this beautiful studio. Well, I'm glad to be on with you, Eric, especially. I would say with Newsmax, it's Newsmax or Newsmax or Newsmax now or TBN.

Yeah. Those are the two channels that I watch. TBN, I can't say that because we're on TBN. But no, it is interesting how people's viewing has changed. And as I go around the country, tons of people say to me, I see you on TBN every week. I see you on TV every week, which thrills me, of course, because we're on here. But it is so fascinating how viewing has changed and people talk to me about that, that they watch TVN, they watch Newsmax. They don't watch Fox anymore for reasons that if people know me, they know why that is.

I want to talk to you, obviously, about the election. I want to talk to you about Newsmax, wherever you want to start. Well, let me just say, well, thank you for having me on. I'm a great admirer of yours. I think your show is terrific. You know, the numbers tell the story about what you're saying, that people are not going to Fox. Fox is not what it used to be.

And we just had the Nielsen ratings for Q3, the third quarter of this year. 33 million Americans tuned into Newsmax, up 45% from the second quarter, we're 22 million. So 33 million, record numbers. But what's interesting is 7 million people that tuned in of that 33 never watched Fox News at all. Something like 4 million of that group never watched Fox, CNN, or MSNBC. So what that shows is that there's many people like yourself and that lady in Texas and other places, people around the country, that are just tuning into news, Max, and they like us.

and they're staying, and we represent, I think, the values that they care about. And Fox still sort of talks about values a little bit, and then you're never sure what their real values are. And I think people understand, we don't have to tell them. You just tune in Newsmax and it resonates with them. Well, I have to say, my favorite on Newsmax is Greg Kelly. He's hilarious. Like, I don't know if he's aware of how funny he is, but he is, he's just hilarious. He speaks truth.

It's kind of a Trumpian kind of thing. Like, he just speaks truth. Who is Greg Kelly again? No, that was funny. That was funny. I believe his father is Ray Kelly, the former police commissioner of New York City. Greg is great. Greg is at 9 o'clock Eastern.

I believe he's the great, the best natural broadcaster we have. He just has a natural approach to. Now, we have great broadcasters. 6 p.m. Greta Van Sustrin starts the nightly news. She's one of the greatest journalists of our time. And then award-winning, incredible lady. She had been a lawyer. 7 p.m. Rob Schmidt, who's, I think, one of the rising stars in media.

And then we have Rob Finnerty, one of our morning hosts, who's gone on to great things now. He's 8 p.m. Eastern. And then Chris Plant. So we have a really great, great broadcast. On the weekends, we have your colleague, Mike Huckabee of TBN. And hopefully one of these days will have Eric Mattaxas. You can't afford me, Chris.

Mike Huckabee has, so he has a show. It's on TBN and. on Newsmax. It originates on TVM. Yeah. They do a fantastic job with the show. It's named Huckabee. Yeah.

And then Mike is a very eclectic guy, right? Everybody thinks of him as a governor of Arkansas. But he has a lot of interest, not only faith interests, but he has music interest, comedy. Yeah. And he mixes it up on a weekend show. And it's just perfect for our audience. We re-air it several times on the weekend.

Right. Well, I love Governor Huckabee. I call him America's God. governor. But yeah, no, that's interesting. And he's got this huge set down in Nashville. He used to be called Twitty City. That's Conway Twitty had his own, it's so Nashville. He had his own theater, and so Tibby and got it, and they converted it. It's state of the art. Yeah, I've been on it. It's great. Yeah, no, I've been on a few times. All right, so I want to talk to you about the election. What is your sense of where we are? Now, we both know, I mean, because there's always two questions.

One question is, so who's going to win? And then the same. second question is, will the one who wins actually be president? Because we have, let's be clear, the Democratic Party has ceased to even pretend to care about things like truth and integrity. They're all about winning, and they will do anything to win. So I'm troubled in a sense, because I don't see them in some kind of gentlemanly fashion accepting the results of we the people. So I'm kind of concerned about that. Well, we're in a dangerous period, right? I think democracy really is underseats.

They claim President Trump is trying to undermine democracy, but they're doing everything themselves and they don't really like the Constitution. The New York Times even had a story. Can we? But it's like we made this up. Yeah. You're not kidding.

The New York Times, tell it. When I read this, I said, this is made up. This is the Babylon B, but it's not. The Constitution is a threat to democracy. That's like saying democracy is a threat to democracy. is a threat to democracy. And they don't really believe in free speech anymore. There's no consensus.

Or the Supreme Court or the electoral college. It's amazing. The left now is not, you know, the old days, and we both come out of the old days, right? There was a conservative liberal continuum. Now there's conservatives, but the liberals are now left and they're woke, and they're really about power and control. They're not about ideology. So people have to understand that.

We have a new left that's very weaponized and dangerous. The conservatives are pretty much the same. They're waking up to this threat, but they're frankly behind the eight ball on some of this. So we have a real problem, and I think that this election is deciding which are the future of America. You know, Donald Trump, he's not perfect. Nobody is. But I believe it's his election to lose. I think that the public is tired of the left.

And, you know, think about the massive amount of – she's outspending him three or four to one. The media is 90 percent against him. I mean, I'm not just making that number up. The media research councils come up with this number. And yet, right now, he's leading in the national polls. So it's a sign the American people, if they actually had more fair balanced information, that he'd probably be leading like 58%. But the battle we have is an information one.

And I think that Trump is unique. President Trump, and I've known him for 25 years as a friend and then a news figure, he is transcending politics, right? He was a media celebrity figure beforehand, but he's a person that's a global figure, one of the few. I don't think there's a political figure in the history of the world that has drawn the crowds and the interests that Donald Trump has drawn. No.

Well, first of all, he's brilliantly funny. I was talking about Greg Kelly a minute ago. I mean, that, you cannot buy that. You can't learn that. it's just there. And Trump is just brilliantly funny. I scream with laughter sometimes at the stuff that he says. And I feel like we've rarely seen that in public life. I mean, the closest you get is Reagan, and he was kind of a tepid version of that. But it's so refreshing to see somebody who's speaking the truth, who'll say the thing that everybody's thinking. We haven't really had politicians like that. Well, Trump is not a politician. So he's the first person to become president that wasn't elected to.

political officer general, a military general, first time in history. And the country clearly wanted somebody like that that was different. And he provided something that's very different. Now, he did a lot of things that really angered a lot of people, right? And he didn't make the swamp, as they call it down in Washington, very happy. But he accomplished so many things. In fact, there's a famous historian that said Donald Trump was the most impactful one-term president in history. I mean, he accomplished so many things. He had a checklist. And somebody explained to me, you know, most political figures always worried about the political implications of everything.

They're not going to push for this change on the bill because they're upset Senator Smith and Iowa won't support them on this. Donald Trump just barrels ahead. He looks at it, is it good or bad? And then if it's good, we just support it and do it. We don't sort of fret about it. You know what that's called? Integrity. Yeah, we haven't seen that in public life very much.

and it's ironic that they say, you know, so many of the evangelicals talk about, you know, integrity is important and we need to have character. And you think, well, that's character. When somebody says, I'm going to do the right thing, or they say, if I'm elected, I will do this, and then they actually do it, that's character. And we've seen very little of that in public life. So it's kind of complicated. And I'm also amazed, frankly, about how the left has become openly mocking of faith.

We had Gretchen Whitmer, governor in Michigan, mocking the Catholic faith in a video. I thought to myself, even if you think that, in the past, no one would ever do that. No one would feel so brazen. We had Kamala Harris at a rally. Somebody screams Jesus is Lord. And she goes, you're at the wrong rally. Which is bizarre. I thought to myself, this is a gift from the Lord to voters who are confused.

Like you needed clarity on where these people. stand. You never would get that kind of clarity in the past. Any politician would never say that. She said it. It's, you know, you can't say anything about any group or individual except Christians or Catholics or now even Jews are under attack. Look at how the media has turned in the left establishment against Jews. I'm shocked. I live in the city of New York and Florida. And I'm shocked that Jews, I lived here most in my life in the city of New York, and that Jews are fearful when they walk down the streets. It's just incomprehensible to me. I was at the Al Smith's dinner this past week with President Trump.

That is a big tradition. This is going back many, many years. The Cardinal is there. Almost always, you have both presidential candidates. This time, Kamala Harris, it's very fitting that she would snub the Catholic faith. There must be a couple of Catholic voters in America. like how many millions, she doesn't show up. And Trump gives a great performance. I mean, I just saw clips. You were there.

This is probably the biggest Catholic dinner in the country. Oh, yeah. Certainly always gets national attention. It's on C-SPAN. And then during presidential years, like you say, it's been a must-go or must stop for a presidential candidate, except this year. And President Trump's not Catholic,

but everybody agrees the Catholic schools, 50% of the students, Catholic schools now, aren't even Catholics. So they're really a universal Christian education, which is fine. And it's mostly poor kids. So they're raising money for poor kids to go to these schools because the public schools have failed them so much. Any event, everybody turns out in New York and a lot of the corporate leaders and there were billionaires. In fact, they were making a Jim Gaffigan, the comedian was making quite a lot of less. Michael Bloomberg was there, for instance.

He's worth, what, $25 billion or $50 billion. You lose track after like the first $10 billion. Right. But the president was fun and he went up there and he was, I think, pretty good with her and didn't overly criticize her. He made some jokes. He had a lot of funny comments. She actually did show up in a video. And so we all watched the video that appeared. And the video starts off with her talking in this girl who's dressed like a Catholic school girl is running behind her.

And they start having a conversation. Apparently it was a comedian from Saturday Night Live. and sure enough, she says a lot of crazy things about the Catholic Church makes a reference to the Last Supper. You can't make it up. I can't believe I didn't see this clip. Then the little schoolgirl proclaims womenhood, okay, and then it's so bizarre.

At the end, Kamala Harris turns and applauds the Catholic Church for their work for schools and hospitals and education, all of that. Perfectly fine, perfectly presidential, except the first half was totally. bizarre. And again, they sort of mock religion, laugh at the Catholics for how they're doing their thing. It's just totally inappropriate. President Trump doesn't do that. The Republicans don't do that, but the Democrats think it's sort of okay. And it's an assault. The whole woke left is an assault

on our Judeo-Christian values. And it's the fundamental. And they're going after the fundamentals of our society, those values, the, the, the Bill of Rights and religious beliefs, right? They don't, they want, and the family unit. They don't even believe that there's two genders. Well, look, they're at war with God and with this thing that God created called reality, right? So the idea that we're male and female in God's image, that's foundational to reality. They're at war with that.

I mean, they've been at war with a lot over the years, but this, it kind of, it's never been more dramatic. Well, can I say on this show, let's forget, about God for a second. The science is there's two genders, X chromosome, Y, chromosome. Science has always believed. The left kept telling us during COVID, follow the science, follow the science. They follow the science until they don't want to follow the science that's thrown out. And they don't call it gender. They call it gender ideology. How is gender, which is a scientific biological fact, an ideology? This is the insanity. I hope, I know your show shines a light on this. Newsmax tries to shine a line on it.

And I think the people are with us. They're just not getting the information. Well, no, that's, of course. And that's what's so extraordinary is that most Americans, you don't need to be a serious Catholic or a serious evangelical Christian to know that there are men and women. And let me go out on a limb, that a man can't become a woman and a woman can't become a man.

I mean, they've had, I know you haven't had him on Newsmax, but they've had Caitlin Bruce Jenner on Fox, and I'm thinking, you're trying to tell me that I'm supposed to buy that this is now a woman. That insults my intelligence, and it's also preposterous. But you're being told, no, no, no, no, no, no. You know, who are you going to believe?

Me or your own eyes, you know? Don't pay any attention. Well, it is a free country, and if Caitlin Jenner wants to be a man or woman, a cat, or a dog. She can say she's all of those things. She just doesn't need me to agree that she is that way. Yeah. Or that he is that way. But I got you. I got you. No, it's so, it's so crazy. I mean, can you imagine we're talking about this in America right now? But most Americans, I mean, my point is most Americans know this. And they're looking for people who are tracking with them. And the mainstream media is not tracking with them. And that's why Trump is such a breath of fresh air. Because he's just saying what we all know.

And that's what's, I mean, I guess you're sanguine about his prospects in the election. Well, the thing is now we know the battleground states. The previous polls have all been wrong in 16 election and 20. And he almost won in 20. He definitely won in 16. And now the polls show him slightly ahead. So everybody's like, well, if the polls were so wrong last time, maybe he's actually way ahead and he's doing better. Now, some pollsters are saying they've readjusted the polls this year because they knew they were wrong

and that they're more accurate and that it is a very close race. My guess is that it is a close race and we're seeing and where I'm concerned of the mail-in ballots. Yes. Now, these are legal mail-in ballots. Doesn't mean anyone's done them illegally. Right. But in Pennsylvania, as of today, Kamala Harris has 500,000-plus Democratic ballots that have turned in. And the Republicans have 150,000.

So almost three to one. Yeah. That is frightening that it's such a disproportionate number to what will happen. On the election day, Trump will probably win on the balance. Right. So it makes you wonder how they're doing it. They obviously have a process. Oh, they're doing something. Forgive me, we're going to a break.

This is a big deal for you. So tell my audience. It's a huge deal for Newsmax. We announced this summer that we plan to go public. We actually, since we talked, we have filed to go public as a public company with the SEC. We're going through

that process. It looks very positive, subject to their approval. So end of this year, early next year, we will be selling shares. We expect to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. We already have our symbol ready. So it's very exciting. And our thought, Eric, was that we should go out and we should reach out to Americans and have them partner with us. We're so close to overtaking CNN. We've had so much success as a company. President Trump did this with his truth social and Trump media company. It was fantastically successful. We're not saying that we'll do the same, but we believe there's a huge demand in the marketplace to support companies like ours. and we actually have opened it up online where people can go and buy shares early,

The Reuters Institute just did a global study of media around the world, and they found that in the U.S.

there are 12 top U.S. news brands, and Newsmax was one of them. I have to tell you, when I saw this early this summer, I was pretty surprised. But they surveyed Americans. They asked them, who are you watching or listening to? And they said, Newsmax. And it was nice to see it as New York Times, ABC, CBS NewsMex. And I think, again, it's your viewers and listeners are tuning in with the remote controls. They're voting.

And they're saying we don't want the old media. We're tired of all the bias, the anti-Trumpism, the anti-Christian stuff. And they're looking for news sources like ours. Well, what's interesting to me, first of all, this is genuinely exciting, the fact that Americans can invest in newsmax and have a piece of something that they care about. You know, that's fantastic. Because normally we just vote with remote control. This is like to get to actually invest, that's exciting.

So that's newsmax invest.com. But it's interesting to me how when at the last election 2020, how many people left Fox and went to Newsmax because they just thought, where can I find the truth about what is happening? It was so confusing. And I know I got a lot of viewers that way as well are people listening to my program because they thought, who is facing what is going on right now? Who's actually talking about it? And I'm sure that the numbers at Newsmax blew up because of that.

Some people tell me what's the difference with Newsmax? I'll say, for example, President Trump, Fox did not want President Trump. It's well-known. They opposed him in this election. They wanted DeSantis at first. He didn't do well. They were looking for someone else. In 16, they did a similar thing.

they supported Jeb Bush. My view as running a network is we're not for against Donald Trump. We're forgetting information about him out. We cover him live. We cover all the other candidates live. We let the viewers decide. And I think that's important. We're not going to dictate like the big media does to the public.

The second thing is all of this stuff, Fox came out very strongly in support of the trans agenda. Like that's bizarre. Newsmax. we don't take a, we don't, we support family values. And so many things that they've had through the years like Chris Wallace, who, you know, was one of their major anchors, he did the debate in, where I think Trump lost the election, was in the debate in 20, where he was the moderator,

who was so hostile to President Trump. He was Fox's lead political correspondent. I mean, that's not really fair and balanced in my, with the old Roger L's view about cable news. And we're trying to get back to that original Fox concept, improving it with our Newsmax twist. Yeah. So where do you see Newsmax going? I mean, the IPO, this is a big deal, literally, as I said, but where do you see Newsmax going?

Well, I hope it's going up. It continues to go up. We just announced that YouTube TV is adding Newsmax to its cable lineup. Now, most people know YouTube is the free video service, but they actually have a pay TV service. They just got football, NFL football on it, and Newsmax is on it. So that's another almost 10 million subscribers, we believe. We're now in 60 million homes, or almost 60 million homes. Huge boost to our reach.

Our free streaming channel and app is usually, we have millions of people that have downloaded the app on their smartphones, and they're getting the service. so Roku and Zuma and Pluto and all those good things, Samsung TV. We're really excited because Newsmax is pretty much everywhere. The old days you'd be like in radio or you'd be in television or newspapers now. You have to really extend your brand across all platforms. And we're doing that. We're very potent in all of those areas.

Well, it's exciting. It's exciting to me because I care about the country. And I realize that without Newsmax, for example, where do you, where do you, turn. This is to me the horror that if you have, if people are controlling information, the reason we have so many people that either aren't going to vote or would vote for Kamala is because they're watching propaganda. They don't know what they're watching. I mean, it's unbelievable. And so we're kind of, I keep saying we're in an existential crisis in America and without journalism, real journalism, it's over. You can't have a free country. You can't have a democracy.

Your viewers don't know this, but we're sitting in this beautiful room that goes back almost to the Civil War period, right? You could almost see Abraham Lincoln in a beautiful building in Lower Manhattan. Lincoln said we were the last great hope. Some people say that's a little trite. I believe, you know, ask the question another way. Without America, where is the world, right? If there's no hope for the world without America. And we're sort of dying from within.

There's not an enemy out ready to invade our border. I mean, there are people that cross the border because we open the border for anyone to come in. It's insane. But it's really important what we all do in America because we're shaping not only the future of our country and our own destiny, I think, but we're the destiny of the whole world.
