Five. No, actually, no, I mean, once, never mind. All right. So there's some things I want to share. This morning I woke up, as I do a lot of days. Not every day, but this morning I woke up and I saw that Chris Christopherson had passed away. He was 88 years old. And five years ago, I had the privilege of meeting him. It was amazing. I want to tell you what I did this weekend. I might have to wait until hour two. But I mean, I'll never forget it. I probably told him. this program once before. But 2019, we had a wedding to go to in Berlin, Germany. Actually, he's in Potsdam. And it was a friend of ours who is a profound Christian. He's a pastor in that area. And his son was getting married. And so we ended up, I'm trying to think where we were before that. We had some reason to be in Europe. And so we thought, okay, on the way home, we'll go to Berlin. And so I had a day in Berlin and I never have any time. Like, hey, what are we doing today?

I never have that happened to me. And I thought, we've got a day in Berlin. What do we do? And I don't know why. But I said, you know what? Let's go to the Berlin Zoo. I never go to zoos. Let's go to the zoo.

So we go to the Berlin Zoo. And if you haven't been to zoo in many, many years, it's exciting to see a gigantic rhinoceros and elephants. And, you know, like if you haven't seen these things in a while. And then we came to the hippo house. The hippo house. Folks, the hippos, people don't know this, but they're like beavers. They can build houses with their tusks. That's not true.

No, the hippo house was built by the zoo for the hippos. And was it built like a German discotheque? But the funny thing is, the Berlin Zoo Hippo house, I don't know if you've experienced this. If you've been to zoos, you've experienced this. Zos are, let's be honest, zoos are usually disappointing. Yeah, sometimes it can be a little sad or depressing. Well, that's one kind of disappointing. The other kind is like, you're like, where are the wildebeests?

Where are they? Oh, they're being fed right now. Oh, their enclosure is being cleaned and they have to be, you know, in an underground case. A lot of bureaucratic excuses. A lot of excuses or where are the lions? Well, the lions are sleeping under that rock that you can't see from here. Or there's always that kind of stuff. And then there's the thing like whatever enclosure they're in is, I don't know, it's poorly lit.

So the hippo house, hippos are, of course, mammals. Yeah. Most of them are mammals. They identify as mammals. But they swim a lot. Oh, wow. Okay? And the word hippopotamus, in some Greek I know this, Potamos is river.

That's where we get the Potomac River. They named it the River, because when they named it, you know, in the 18th century, all of our founding fathers loved, you know, the Greeks. So potomos is river. Hippo, you may know, hippodrome. Hippo is the ancient Greek word for horse. So the river horse is what they call the hippopotamus is the river horse. So I thought this is exciting because hippopotamai, that's the plural, interestingly enough, it's a Latin plural, it's not a Greek plural.

Hippopotamai are gigantic. They're so huge. So we go into the hippo house, which is a dark enclosure with a glass wall with water, water where you can see them swimming. So it's dark and weird and gloomy and murky. And you get in there and you stare and you don't see any hippos. Are you allowed to feed them marbles? I don't understand that. Oh, that's a joke. Yeah. I'm hungry. No, no. I, I, I'm like, crouched down at the glass looking in, are there hippos in the murky water? And, you know, you see a shadow in the, in the distance. And, you know, it's disappointing. So I'm in the

hippo house, crouched up against the glass, I turn around to see where, if my family is there, you know, where are they? And I see this old German guy, kind of gray, whatever, you know, and then I go, wah, that's not an old German guy. No. That's Chris Christopherson. What? Yeah. And I have a talent. I have a talent. Now, I'm not making this up. I've noticed this my whole life. I will spot celebrities no one else sees. You're standing next to them. You're looking at them. I went, Suzanne rode in the back of a limo with Cindy Lauper and had no idea that it was Cindy Lauper. Yeah, that happens. That's, that's how bad Suzanne is at what I'm great at, right? Like, so I could spot a minor celebrity from the back of a head, 100 paces in the dark, and I go, boom, it's, you know, Elaine Stritch.

Right. So I see, I see it's Chris Chris, and I'm blown away. So I walk up to him, I'm like, dude, what are you doing here? Yeah, yeah. And he was like, ah, I'm just visiting the zoo. or something like that. And I said, no, no, what are you doing here in Berlin? What's going on?

He's like, well, I'm playing a concert tonight. Oh. And so he was very soft-spoken, very sweet, and he allowed me to take a picture with him. That's amazing. And so I took a picture with him at the Hippo House in the Berlin Zoo. And two days ago, he passed away. And a friend of mine, I posted this on social media five years ago, and a friend of mine, Chuck Forrest, who now lives in Italy, he was the champion of champions.

on Jeopardy. He was a year ahead of me at Yale, just brilliant. And he sent me this thing where Chris Christopherson talks on a video about this utterly miraculous experience that he has in a church where somebody is preaching and somebody dragged him to the church. In fact, Ricky Skaggs was on this program. I think he knows the woman that somebody dragged Chris Christophis on the church. And he just got. moved in the service that he went up for the altar call and had this Jesus experience. And as a result of that, he wrote the song, Why Me, Lord? And so maybe we can play it in the, if James can find it, but he goes, why me, Lord?

What have I ever done to deserve even one of the pleasures I've known? It is heartbreaking to hear him sing it. So I posted it on my social media this morning, but he had a profound Christian experience. He played that a lot of his conscience. So he was a believer. I expect to see Chris Christopherson in heaven. And I wanted to share that this morning. It was just so moving to me.

But, man, there's a lot that I want to share here. We have in hour one today, so coming up in the next segment, D'Metio, who's start in the Sopranos. It's fascinating what's going on. There are people all over America waking up. They're waking up to truth, to reality, to the fact that they've been lied to,

to the fact that there's this big narrative telling them to shut up. There's people waking up to Jesus, because inevitably, if you're starting to wake up to the truth, Jesus is the truth. So you have things like two days ago, or was it yesterday, I guess it was it yesterday. In D.C., Russell Brand prayed on the stage at this big event in D.C. with Jordan Peterson. Did anybody think they'd see that? Five years ago? Did you think you'd see Jordan Peterson kneeling in prayer? Did you think you'd see Russell Brand praying? What's happening? Eric, what's happening? Is this? Did you do this? This is revival. That's revival. Yeah, I did it. No, this is revival. And the thing is revival always, it's, it's

It's sort of like, you know, capillaries being created because the vein is clogged. The modern-day church is, in many ways, an old wine skin. Now, I'm not talking about all churches, but I'm saying that there are many churches that are, they're just doing church. This is what I preach against when, you know, I talk about it. They're just doing church. They're just like going through the motions. They don't talk about any hot button stuff because they don't want to lose any perils.

which is insane. It's your job as a preacher or pastor to lead your flock, to disciple your flock. That is your job. But they say, well, we don't want to, we don't want to go there. And so they become increasingly irrelevant to your average person. Like, especially people who don't go to church, think, I'm not going to that church. They go through some religious ritual when my, you know, my kids are being propagandized in school where there's lunacy everywhere I look. You almost get the feeling that the word commandments, as in the 10 commandments, with church. trigger a lot of these churches. Like the word commandments is too harsh. Oh, no, they wouldn't, yeah, they wouldn't use that word. Commandments is too harsh. We're all about, you know, liquid love or something like that. I mean, they're, even the names of churches become increasingly preposterous. Like, I'm not going to mention some of them, but, but they just, they're trying

to be so hip and so cool, and they're not, they're not speaking to where people live. So, the idea that you're finding people, we're going to have him on the program, Rob Schneider, the comedian Rob Schneider has become a Christian. Tucker Carlson is talking more about his Christian faith. Everywhere you turn, you're seeing this stuff. So it's very exciting. I think the reality of this sort of this battle that's at hand for the hearts and minds of people is becoming clear. The fault lines are being. Everything's visible now. It's really interesting. So, I mean, that brings us back to my next guest is Drea DiMateo.

So she's one of these people that she's just woken up for the last few years. It's happening more and more and more again. The event that was in D.C., I can't think of the name of it, but, I mean, the headliner was RFK Jr. When did we ever think we would get those kind of people teaming up with MAGA people? Something is going on in America. And in the middle of it, you have Russell Brand praying on the stage with Jordan Peterson. It's almost like you want to start a betting pool on the polymarket betting pools for who the next unlikely celebrity to sort of jump on the bandwomen. think of Roseanne Barr.

Roseanne Barr. She was like, I actually think in 2012, she was one of the people verbally crucifying our friend Kirk Cameron when he was on Pierce Morgan talking about, I believe, marriages between a man and a woman. I think she came after him really, really hard in 2012.

Now, it's 12 years later, and she is like full-on pro-America, it's kind of amazing. There was another guy that just said he was pro-Trump. Tyson has endorsed Donald Trump. Something is happening in this country. The Trump campaign needs to get him as a door knocker because he would be very compelling, you know, if the door, if he knocks on the door. I said, I'm campaigning for Trump.

I want you to pull the level for Trump. If you don't do it, I'll mess you up. Yeah. Yeah, he might say that. I would, how would you say no to him? He really wouldn't mess you up because he's a nice guy. But my goodness. Well, anyway, so we got D.D. Demet here coming up in a couple of minutes.

It's great. Listen, it's great to have you. Now, for folks who don't know who you are, you're principally known for your roles on ABC's Desperate Housewives. You played Joey Tribiani, Sista Gina on the NBC sitcom Joey. but to me at least you're best known for being on a little something I like to call the Sopranos for which you want a primetime Emmy, holy cow, very, very big deal. And I got to tell you, Drea, I have mixed feelings about Sopranos, and I'll tell you why,

because there are things that were in it that were so disturbing. It was hard for me to watch. The scene where you are killed, I will never forget that. It was so painful to watch. you were so brilliant in that scene. It was so real. I will never forget it. So God bless you for being an amazing actress and pulling that off.

But, you know, that's mainly how I know you. Oh, well, thank you. I appreciate it. Yeah, I crawled all the way to NBC to commit corporate suicide to Joey. To Joey. I was crawling through the woods, you know. That was always my old joke about that. Well, when we, you know, it's kind of funny, when you said to me earlier that you were born in Queens, it's like, okay, I can relate to you because if you're born in Queens, there's a common sense attitude that I think a lot of New Yorkers have because a lot of people think of New Yorkers as, you know, Manhattan liberals.

But the reality is that, you know, we're not hidebound in terms of ideology. It's just about what works, what doesn't work, who's a jerk, who's not. And in Hollywood, where you have been for some time, it's very tough. I've talked to innumerable people that I've worked in Hollywood. And they're like, you can't save that. I wouldn't, that would be career suicide for me to save that or whatever. You've experienced this a little bit recently. Yeah, it is at the point, I mean, we're just fully censored. We're censoring ourselves now.

Forget about the whole, you know, government censor. everybody at this point. We are so brainwashed now and so afraid to speak out about anything. I was with Dr. Drew yesterday on his show, and I can't remember the numbers, but he gave me the actual statistics of how many people can actually be brainwashed, how many people will critically think, and how many just want to be left alone and pretend nothing's going on.

And that percentage is enormous. And I feel like that is what we're up against right now. And as much as I feel like we're up against this be a myth in the government at the moment. And aside from that, it's the people. It's us. And the way they've been captured, the way their minds have been captured through Hollywood and using media to completely destroy everyone's free thinking mind. I'm really trying to understand this on a different level lately. like almost on a spiritual level,

because trying to discern it right now, like mechanically almost doesn't work. Like how can all of our New York friends who, yes, we are liberals. We were always, but there was a mix of people. A lot of conservatives in New York. There are a lot of Italians are conservatives. My family was always, you know, partially Democrat, partially Republican.

I don't even think your party matters anymore unless you want to fight. Right now, politics are dead. There is a complete capture on both sides. It's a revolving door. We know that. And whoever is going to play ball gets to say. And if you don't, you're going to get shot at.

And that would be a day and pay and everybody before Trump. You can't say shot at on this program. We're going to have to edit that out in post. So seriously, you have awakened to the new reality. And I'm one of the people that has also awakened to this reality. I used to be more concerned. conservative, just like, you know, whoever's the Republican, I'll vote for them. And now I realize, wait a minute, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, there really is a unip party. These people weren't

fighting for what I thought they were fighting for. The Democratic Party used to be the champions of free speech in America. Now they are censoring anybody that is out of line. They're censoring you. They're coming after you. They're sending the FBI to people's doors to intimidate them. The kind of stuff that you would never dream could happen in America. So when you say, you know, almost on a spiritual level, to me, it is on a spiritual level. You're now dealing with evil. You're not dealing with different ideologies. You're dealing with something that makes no political sense.

It just, it's so bizarre. It smells like evil. And I think the only answer is God. So you get people like Russell Brand turning to God. To me, we're in a new day. You bring up, you know, RFK Jr. People are shifting like we've never seen. Yeah, it is, you know, what's scary too is I know that there's got to be a way to pull some of the liberals back to the center.

But if you use God as a way, I mean, for some folks, it'll work. It's like you have to know your audience. You know, I've been chipping away at one friend at a time. People, I mean, I'm getting accosted. I'm getting texts from friends who I haven't heard from in years. And now that Kennedy, when I was supporting Kennedy, everybody was fine with me. because there was still a hippie element to it. Do you know what I mean?

I'm talking to Drea DiMetteo. You may know her from this, that. And the other thing, the sopranos, I got to say, Drea, it's just fun to talk. to you because you're saying stuff that a lot of people listen to this program have been through this, right? Where it's so funny where when somebody, when when people were saying, I love RFK Jr., he's speaking truth. And he really was on vaccines. He was being so brave and so amazing. And I interviewed him at something that I do in Manhattan called Socrates in the city, you know, 300 people.

It was this amazing evening. And in that evening, I said to him, I mean, you can watch it. It was fun. I said to him, listen, in the rare event that you don't end up in the White House, because I didn't see that happening. I said, would you consider serving your country in a Trump administration? Because I think that he would unleash you. He has seen how they've come after him.

He would unleash you to go scorched earth on, you know, the FDA, on whatever. And he was not there yet. But the day that he said, I endorsed Donald Trump, heads exploded all over America. We are in a totally new day for Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, and RFK Jr. to have shifted over to the Trump camp. Doesn't it just tell you that, you know, Kamala Harrison Company are so crazy that people can't take it? Yeah, I mean, it's the Justice League. It feels like it's the Justice League. It's an exciting moment.

I love how Brett Weinstein sort of, he put it like this on an interview with Tucker. he said, what this whole thing did, the pandemic, was took all of these great minds and critical thinkers out of the institutions and pushed them out. And now they are standing separate from this monster on the other side. And he's like, I like, I like our odds, because these are people that really are still using their minds. And I feel terrible saying that,

because I don't ever want to put down my fellow man and people that haven't realized what's going on. because they're so deceived by the news and just these moronic assessments of Trump. And I had Trump derangement syndrome. So I can sort of understand them. But I can all, because I voted for Biden, and I've never voted in my life. I was so anti-Bush. I was out of my mind anti-Bush.

So, and then I was anti-Hillary because I knew it was just all continuation of the same mania and the same insanity. So I was never a voter. anti-establishment. And I just didn't feel like I was responsible enough to make a vote because I didn't have enough information. Well, I did the most irresponsible thing and voted for Biden when I had TDS over the border because I have a lot of illegal friends. But these are friends that have been paying their taxes. They came here for the American dream. They are living the American dream, trying to figure it out. You know, they've been here for years, 20 years. So now even they are like,

wait a minute, this isn't fair. This is a controlled demolition of the United States. Like this is not, this is not what us sneaking through the border meant. We came for sanctuary. This is like, I mean, I'm pretty sure there was paperwork signed between Venezuela and America to let the jails out into our country. Now, think about what you're saying. I mean, that phrase is exactly correct. Controlled demolition of the United States of America.

Who would want to do that? I mean, any decent American that loves their family and it can. cares about their neighbors, would they ever, the globalist elites, you're wearing a shirt that says globalism. And the karma on this country, every coup we've operated, every inside job. I mean, we're in trouble. You've been, you've been doing your homework. How long have you been aware of this stuff? You know, you talk about the coups and the stuff because I was never really awake to it until the last few years I got this stuff. I mean, I was pro-Bush. I really was, I feel horrible now at how stupid I was.

But when did you kind of wake up to this stuff? Well, we, I had a music video called Summer of Rage that everybody can go watch by Shooter Jennings. He was my, he's my ex. And he put a whole album out called Black Ribbons dedicated to the Bush administration. And it was a total, it was a concept album. Stephen King narrates it as the last radio host that all, airwaves will be commandeered, new world order, all of this stuff. He gets shot at the end.

He gets taken out at the end. I always think I'm on like cable TV. I was kidding that you can't say shot. You can say that. It was the adjective before that I believe started with an F or some. Oh, oh, sorry. I don't even know where I am. I can't remember.

I can't remember the consonant. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. But anyway, the music video was 2010, where my daughter wakes up, she's in the video, and there's no parents left. Parents have been taken away. The TV screen is telling her, no, don't look at your parents. I will take care of you. I'm in charge now. So the TV screen will raise the child. That was the Bush administration. I posted it during COVID because it was about the video, the song's about mass vaccinations.

And it says, you and I, they'll vaccinate a gas mask is the couture in the summer of rage. They're building mass graves and it's FEMA with all these graves. Dr. Drea, you just said, I mean, to me, the blessing of the horror of what happened in 2020 with the vaccines and the masks and the shutdowns and the weird stuff is it woke a lot of people up. It woke a lot of people up.

They said, what's going on? What do you mean I have to get a vaccine? I've seen the disease. It's not scary. If you treat it correctly, it's like a cold or a flu. I've got to risk my life. I've got to take some experimental jab that might kill me. When I posted something about that, just a tentative post.

Like, I don't think it's a good idea. People came at me like I. was the devil. People that were my friends came at me. And I thought, why are they trying to silence me? When I said, I think the election was stolen, they said, oh, you can't talk about that. I thought, it's America. I could talk about anything. I don't have to be right. I'm just saying, let's discuss it. But the attempt to shut down certain points of view, that's what woke me up. And that's what I think woke up a lot of people. I said, wait a minute. In America, we can argue, we can debate the pros and cons of this and that. You're telling me I can't.

You're telling me a monster. I'm a monster if I don't get the vaccine and tell everybody they have to get the vaccine. That's when I think a lot of people began to wake up. And it sounds like you're one of those people. Yes, 100%. I mean, I was already, I already was hip to a lot of stuff. But because I was hip to little pieces, immediately I couldn't. Once you see the truth, you just can't unsee it.

And I think that's really what it was. And I just want to shake all my liberal friends and be like, once you see, and I feel hopeful even knowing that things are so dismal right now, but a lot of my friends that are really just like, wow, we're living in a dismal time. And I'm like, yeah, but it doesn't have to be because if you're armed with this knowledge, you can build a little community and make a difference and change your way and maybe stand up for something that's actually really important. This is in politics right now.

This is humanity and it's at stake. So. I love it. That's exactly correct. That's exactly exactly correct. We're living in a time. We've never been through anything like this. And this is why I think a lot of people, it's such a struggle, you know, for somebody to realize I've been lied to, my government has lied to me, the press lies.

You don't want to live in that world. And so you try to avoid it as long as possible until you finally say, unfortunately, it's true. And I kind of think, but I think with folks like you and Russell Brand, Elon Musk, there's something happening that's giving people permission. I think to switch or to be open-minded. I mean, when Mike Tyson comes out for Trump, there are a lot of people are going to be, wait a minute, Mike Tyson's out, Mike Tyson's, you know, he's not some raging conservative racist.

He's Mike Tyson. The golfer Jack Nicholas has come out for Trump. Russell Brand and Elon Musk and Tulsi Gabbard. It's just to me something is happening in the culture. People are waking up.
