Starting point is 00:00:00 Folks, welcome to the Eric Mataxis show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metaxas show. There's never been a better time to invest in precious metals. Visit legacy p.m.investments.com. That's legacy p.m.investments.com. Welcome to the Eric Metaxas show. I shouldn't tell you this, but Eric hired someone who sounds just like him to host today's show. But since I'm the announcer, they told me, so I'm telling you, don't be fooled. The real Eric's in jail.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Holy cow. Alvin, oh, wow. We are, okay, just to be clear, today's Wednesday. It is. Last night, we had a Socrates in the city event here in New York City. And it was amazing. Yeah. I don't know how to put it.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Now, there's so much to say, I want to talk about it. I got to say, first of all, we had more Greek people at the Socrates event than ever before because the speaker, my guest, was Eugenia Constantine who
Starting point is 00:01:18 never ceases to blow my mind. I mean, this is a woman. She's deceptive because she seems really normal and friendly. And then when she starts talking or writing her books, you think, whoa. It was great. Now, tons of people watched live stream.
Starting point is 00:01:36 So some of you listening right now, you watched it last night. I have no idea how it comes across because this was the first time we did a live stream, which is why it was priced so low, low, low, low, low, low. Because we just wanted to kind of test it out. But we had a lot of people watching on live stream from around the country, for all I know, around the world, which I just find fascinating that we don't know, who are you? Who are you out there? But in the room, it was so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:02:10 I want to talk about this. We're going to give this a little bit of time. But before we get to that, before we get to that, a couple of other announcements. Because I just want to fill people in on what happened last night because it was so great. And just so you know, I haven't gotten home yet because I was in the city. I stayed overnight at a friend's house. So I haven't even talked to Ann. And she was one of those people that tuned in on the live stream.
Starting point is 00:02:32 So I haven't even gotten up. So you slept on a park bench. you could get to work early today. I slept rough, as they say, in England. But yeah, I haven't talked to Eric Ann yet, and I want to find out what her thoughts were on their live stream. But you'll get those maybe tomorrow. Okay. So, but anyway, so before I give you the update, because I want to give you the whole update on the Socrates and the city event, before that, I have to tell you that our friends at Salem, this is, we're on the Salem Radio Network, somebody there committed a huge blunder. And did not put up the banner because we were, we're raising money this month for food for the poor.
Starting point is 00:03:12 This is very important. And we keep telling you, go to metaxestalkystalk.com. You'll see the banner. Go to metaxestock.com. You'll see the banner. Many of you, we know, went to metaxis talk.com and did not see the banner. Now, the good news, I guess, is that the banner that was there instead was for nutrmetics. So that's one of our sponsors on the program.
Starting point is 00:03:36 And it reminds me to clarify that this month only, if you go to nutrometics.com, a lot of you buy your nutraceuticals as I do from nutrometics.com, which I should spell. N-U-T-R-A, Neut-R-A-M-E-D-I-X. Some people ask me, how do you spell that? Nutramedics, M-E-D-I-X.com. But this month only, it's 20-E-D-I-X. 25% off if you use the code Eric. So obviously that's more than the usual percentage.
Starting point is 00:04:11 So we want to encourage you, nutrometics.com, 25% off if you use the code Eric. Okay. But yesterday and the day before, the banner that should have been there, which I know many of you tried to go and to give to food for the poor, was not there. I'm pretty sure it's there now. So when you go to metaxis talk.com, before we go. get into the Socrates and city update, which we will. I want to encourage you to please go to metaxis talk.com, click on the banner for food for the poor. Okay, why? This is we're going to get into the why. Yeah. And then we're going to get into all the fun stuff later. But this is, this is important.
Starting point is 00:04:53 All right. As you know, today is March 1st, obviously the beginning of a new month. We're doing our annual spring campaign with food for the poor. Now, I want to say, according to my notes, it is the beginning of a new life for one poor family in Honduras. This is a given example of where your money goes. A poor family in Honduras, food for the poor, is building a home for a 29-year-old mother of three who's been supporting her children working in a garbage dump for several years. The level of poverty, folks, in these parts of the world, obviously this is Central America. that's where food for the poor out of Christian love goes and ministers to these people. What does food for the poor get out of it?
Starting point is 00:05:43 The same thing you get out of it when you donate to food for the poor. You're living out your faith by helping people who are at the bottom. They need our help. And out of our love of God and our fellow man, we do something. So the question is, where do we do it? Where do we go? We say food for the poor because we have very. at them and we know that they're utterly reputable. They're not the only ones in the world, but they are
Starting point is 00:06:08 someone we can absolutely depend on, which is why when you go to MetaxusTalk.com, you'll see the banner, and we want to encourage you to give to them. But I want to play, because, you know, what I just referred to this 29-year-old mother of three, who doesn't have a home, who's been working in this garbage dump, I want to play a clip of her. So let me play that clip right now. Listen to this clip. because I'm getting a home and then we'll have work over there and we won't have to come all the way to the garbage dump to work. It makes me real happy because I will be able to spend more time with my children and she loves that idea.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Okay, so this is real. We wanted to make it real. What you just heard, okay, this woman is telling you about her life. So this is not some theory. This is not like, yeah, you know, give to the Clinton fund. or whatever. This is real people. Food for the poor is tremendously efficient at getting what you give to them to these people, right? So this mother can get out of working in a garbage dump, literally, as she just said, into her own home where she could spend time nurturing her kids. This is made possible through folks like you. And so there's a reason that I am so pushy. on this. We trust food for the poor. This is the real thing. We do this every spring. So again, go to metaxis talk.com. The right banner should be up. If you've been there the last
Starting point is 00:07:45 couple of days, didn't find it, it should be there right now. Or if you'd prefer to pick up your phone and give food for the poor a jingle, we can provide a phone number. Albin, I'm going to provide an old-fashioned phone number. Oh, try that. All right? If you have a rotary phone, it's the same number. And this is in base 10 digits. Are you ready? Listening. 844-864-863 hope. Actually, hope is not base 10 digits. Those are letters from the American alphabet. 844-863 hope. 844-863 hope. Let me say that now in Swahili. 844-863 hope. I really hope that you will call the number 844-863 hope. or go to metaxis talk.com. If you would prefer to text, that works as well, you can text the keyword Eric to 911-999.
Starting point is 00:08:50 That's text the keyword Eric. That's my current name. That's my alias. It's a good one, yeah. E-R-C. Text Eric to 911-99-9-9. and they'll send you a link. It's hard for us to believe most of us
Starting point is 00:09:10 that there are 1 billion children in the world living in what we define as poverty. So food for the poor, they minister, but they can't really do it without you, without you helping. So this is the month that we do the big push. So the last couple of days, if you went to the banner, Metaxistalks Talk.com, if it wasn't there, our apologies to you,
Starting point is 00:09:30 It should be there now. We want to encourage you to give generously. We'll have more information in the weeks ahead. And I also throw this out there that if this is tax deductible, if anybody out there can give $10,000 or more, it's my privilege to thank you in person. We can have dinner together. I do that once in a while.
Starting point is 00:09:51 It really should be $13,000 based on the value of my time. But we'll only say $10. I'll joke about that and other things more. We'll be back with the Socrates and City update. Next level stuff, don't go away. In case you haven't been paying attention, the Biden administration has caused a financial crisis and they have no clue how to fix it.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Oil prices have skyrocketed. And when oil prices go up, the cost of transportation and shipping spikes leading the prices of goods to rise. Starting point is 00:12:24 Last night, okay, I mentioned this earlier, we did a live stream. We've never done that before. And I felt like Ralph Cramden, you know, when they went on live TV to do Chef of the Future. Yeah. Now, if you're not getting that reference, that's tough luck. Look it up.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Yeah. Ralph, look at Honeymooners, chef of the future. Yeah. Humana, howma, howma, howma, how many. Or be born in the 50s and see it originally. Can I, Corey, Apple, zip, zip, zip, chef of the future, who? Anyway, it's wild to do a live stream. Obviously, we practically do it every day.
Starting point is 00:13:02 We're doing it right now. I mean, we're not, we can't see you. But we've never done it with Socrates and City before. But it was wonderful. The audience was wonderful. I was mentioning it was extra Greek. Very, very Greek audience. Lots of Greeks in the artists. So I threw out some Greek jokes, which the non-Greeks didn't get. I didn't get them. But the Greeks, we don't care. We just think everybody should speak Greek. What's your problem? Yeah. So you're better than us. But Jeannie, but Jeannie Konstantino, my guest. Yes. Honestly, I'm, you know, I'm in awe of this
Starting point is 00:13:35 woman in that we have a patrons dinner afterward where people get to ask her questions. And that was so amazing that I thought we should have gotten that on videotape. So I don't know if we'll do more Socrates events with her in the future
Starting point is 00:13:51 in other cities. I should say this. Socrates, it's all about the funding. If somebody out there wants to help fund an event, I would do it in any city. We've done them in Houston. We've done them in Dallas. About 15 years ago, I did one in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:14:07 We've done them here and there. We've done them in England, in Oxford, England. So, but I want to do, I'd love to do another event with her in another part of the country, maybe in California, because she lives in San Diego and we'll save on flights. Well, I'm excited about her next book, and maybe by next year you have another one about the new book, which is going to be a blowaway book as well. Oh, there's so much. Actually, Albin, you just reminded me.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Very soon, my book. fish out of water, which is the story of my life up until I had my dramatic Jesus experience at age 25. Fish out of water is coming out and paperback in a week. And I just have, if you can see this on the camera, if anybody's watching this, if you're listening on a radio, it's going to be tough for you to make it out. If you squint a little bit, you might be able to see I'm holding up the paperback copy of fish out of water. Now, why am I holding this up?
Starting point is 00:15:02 because last night at the Socrates event, there were a number of people in the audience who were in this book. Dear friends from Danbury, Connecticut, who drove down. And I just thought, it's such a beautiful thing. You know, people talk about how great it is to be young. Well, one of the greater things about getting older is you value friendships that you've had for so long. They mean more and more to you.
Starting point is 00:15:31 The idea that my dear friend, Dino Colizza, was in the audience last night, getting all the Greek jokes. And other friends were there from Danbury, Connecticut. Again, I would never embarrass them by mentioning them publicly on the air like Chris Neufitidis. I wouldn't, you know, or Maria Bacloss. I'm not going to mention their names. Why would I do that? You're a good job. To embarrass them?
Starting point is 00:15:54 No. But to see them there, it just meant so much to me to have them there. But there were just tons of great. Greeks in the audience. It was, it was, it was, it was just really fun. By the way, the official pub date for that is the seventh of March? March 7th is, is the paperback comes out. Because I have a special present for you and your dad because of the publication of the, I had it, I actually got it for Christmas, but then when I realized the paperback was coming out, it's perfect for you and your dad. So next Tuesday, when we're in the studio, I'm going to have this
Starting point is 00:16:27 present for you and your dad. I have a funny feeling it's a whopper. But we're not going to get into that. You mean Burger King Whopper? A lepricon shake? No, I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, you're going to get a kick out of it because when I found it, I couldn't believe it. But anyway, I said, well, gosh, thanks. Actually, my wife found it and I said, oh my goodness, you're right. Thanks in advance. I also want to say, because a lot of times we just don't have the time. But so last night's event was just fantastic. And I, people, I'm telling you, I mean, if you're there, This is why I encourage people to come to these events. When they're over, people who have not been to one before, usually,
Starting point is 00:17:07 but sometimes people have been to everyone. They come up to me, and I get this every single time. They say, this is the best one. I've been to all these. This was the best. They say this every time. And people who've never been there before routinely used the word magical. There's something beautiful about having conversations that are important conversations
Starting point is 00:17:28 in a venue like, you know, the Union League Club or wherever we do them and stuff. So I just want to encourage you. Now, the next one is March 30th. My guest will be Yonmi Park. She is the 29-year-old young woman who defected from North Korea. Wow. Huge story.
Starting point is 00:17:49 A lot of people have heard her in different places, but she will be my guest March 30th. And I want to encourage you, if you feel like making a trip to New York, York, just come for the rats, you know, for no other reason, because you probably don't have them in suburbia. They defected from South Korea to North Korea. That's correct.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And then they came back to New York, and they have a story too. And here they are. No, it's not. And I actually, I shouldn't even joke around because, like, New York is great. Everybody's like, well, what's, is it okay there? Have you been murdered yet, Eric? Listen, that's all nonsense. The same thing about Seattle.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I mean, if you have a brain in your head, you know, you don't walk into the homeless encampments at 4 a.m. No. But we don't, I just want to say, if you want to come to New York for that, I do, I would encourage you. Union League Club is a magical place. That's going to be amazing. So that's, okay, so that's September, sorry, what did I say, March 30th?
Starting point is 00:18:49 March 30th. Also, since I got you on the phone, let me bring up. remind you, I've been traveling more than ever. So if I, if I seem fatigued, it's actual fatigue. And I was last weekend in Monclova, Ohio, which is really outside of Toledo. I had a flight to Detroit. And there's a church there. We talked about this the other day. I discover these churches, and I find out I go, this is a church that I can tell people go to that church. because there's so many churches that if they haven't gone woke, they're kind of keeping their mouths shut on all these hot button issues,
Starting point is 00:19:32 which is really not a good idea, ladies and gentlemen, in case you haven't been paying attention. But Redemption Church in Monclova, Ohio, redemption church, the pastor is Stephen Whitlow. You get to know these people, and you think there are churches like this around the country, but most people don't know where they are. I didn't know about redemption church among the people.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Clova, Ohio until I spoke there this weekend. I mean, I didn't really know much about them, but they're around the country, and I'm encouraging people. I want to put together a list of these kinds of churches, just because I feel like people are hungry. People kind of come up to me secretly in the book line, and they say, I want to get this book from my pastor. Yeah. Because they're going to a church where their pastor is either cowardly or, you know, feigning some kind of neutrality on all these issues. I mean, and this is true, and this is not just true of evangelical churches. Okay, the Greek Orthodox Church, right? Last night, we're with a Greek Orthodox hero who understands this stuff clearly, right? But the Archbishop
Starting point is 00:20:37 of North and South Americas, I always forget his name, it's not Epaphroditus, but it's Elpidoros or something like that. He was like in a BLM march. In other words, this is just how you know how messed up the leadership is in any denomination. So you need to find the human beings and the churches that understand this stuff. In all fairness, though, he said that he was just trying to cross the street to the 7-11, and he ended up in this big crowd. That's always what happens to the Archbishop. But it wouldn't have happened to Yaakovos. Let me just be very clear about that. Yeah, well, actually, you know, Yakovos, Archbishop Yacovos, who was the Archbishop of North and South America and the Greek Church for decades, he marched in Selma with Martin Luther King, Jr.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Now, that was a bold move, but that was the right move. That was the right move. If you think that marching with, you know, a BLM friendly crowd is the right move, let me just say, alas, you're wrong, F minus on that one. So, but this is happening everywhere. I have my faithful Catholic friends are talking to me about this, whatever. So when I wrote a letter to the American church, this is kind of for everybody, okay? This is not just for the evangelical church. The evangelical church, in some ways, can be the most pathetic, but we don't need to get into that.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Pathetic is pathetic. So I just want to encourage you that there are folks like Pastor Steve Whitlow in Monclova, Ohio at Redemption Church, Rob McCoy and Jack Hibbs and so many others in California all around the country. And so we're going to be compiling a list of these kinds of things. And I want to be really blunt that this is not a small thing. This is an important thing. And so I'm actually saying, is your church the kind of a church that would get behind my book letter to the American church? I don't mean in terms of selling it, but in terms of the message.
Starting point is 00:22:31 If you are that kind of a church, email us because I want to say this is a church that gets it because people are hungry for that. Alvin, do we have another segment that we can do? We could do another segment. We'll do another segment. We'll do another segment. Okay. Yeah. We never get to do this.
Starting point is 00:22:45 We don't do that. So we'll be right back. Yeah. Don't go away. Tell me why. My relief factor is so successful at lowering or eliminating pain. I'm often asked that question just the other night. I was asked that question.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Well, the owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal. And I agree with them. And the doctors who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients. And each one of them helps your body deal with inflammation. Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway. That's the point. So approaching from four different angles may be why so many people find such
Starting point is 00:23:47 wonderful relief. If you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exerciser, just getting older, you should order the three-week quick start discounted to only 1995 to see if it'll work for you. It has worked for about 70% of the half a million people who've tried it and have ordered more on one of them. Go to Relieffactor.com or call 800 for relief to find out about this offer. Feel the difference. Hey there, folks. Today we are partnering with food for the poor to provide urgently needed food to some of the most impoverished countries in our hemisphere. Because of interrupted planting cycles, rising food prices, and the lingering impact of COVID, the list of families unable to feed their children grows
Starting point is 00:24:27 longer by the day. But you can make a difference in these families today. A meal-for-meal match means that your one-time gift of $144. That's the meal-for-meal match. Your one-time gift of $144 provides a family of four with food for a year. That's two meals a day for the next year for a family who struggle to get even a handful of rice or enough corn for tortilla. Knowing your gift will never have more impact than right now, would you rescue one family, three families, or even 10 families by going to Metaxus Talk.com? and click on the red send food banner. You can also text the keyword Eric to 911-99. You'll get a link to make your life-saving gift.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Text Eric to 911-999 or to give your gift by phone. Call the toll-free number 844-863. Hope. 844-863, Hope. 844-863, hope. God bless you. If you change your mind, on the first in line, honey, I'm still free.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Take a chance. On me, if you need me, let me know. Gonna be around. Welcome back. We never do this freewheeling stuff album. We don't. I know. You know, we need more me time.
Starting point is 00:25:47 More us time. Yep. More we time. More me, more us. No, but it's kind of funny just because I often feel rushed because we're getting to a guest, we're getting to a guest. I said, why do we, we don't need to do that. We have plenty of guests, you know, but in our two today,
Starting point is 00:26:03 we will have a traditional interview, either with Ray Comfort or with the guy who talks about defunding the FBI. I'm not sure who our guest is an hour or two. But let me just, so let's continue along what we were talking about. So last night, Socrates in the city. Jeannie Constantine, her book, now her book, I want to tell everybody, you don't have to buy it at Amazon. There's other places you can buy it in case you don't want to get it on Amazon. But it's called The Crucifixion of the King of Glory. We talked about it last Friday.
Starting point is 00:26:33 She's been on the program. But it really gives you a blow by blow. It's like watching a legal thriller where like twists and turns in the case, except it's nonfiction. Yeah. It is an exact, brilliant, readable retelling of the events of how the chief priests who were wicked manipulated the legal system. I mean, it's so fascinating. And, of course, if you didn't watch it on the live stream last night, eventually we'll put it up on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:27:07 But the book, I want to tell you, I don't, I can't remember the last time I said this about a book. It drew me closer to Jesus. Yeah. And I'm looking forward to, I'm holding it up if you're watching us on Rumble. And if you sign up for Eric's newsletter at Ericmetachshus.com, you will get the video. But anyway, yeah, I think it begins with the resurrection of Lazarus, does not? Yes, and it goes through Holy Week. But it gives you so much information that I'm amazed that a lot of this information I was unfamiliar with.
Starting point is 00:27:41 I had missed it. And part of the reason for that is that in the Greek Orthodox Church, they're much closer connected to the early church. So the traditions that were established in the first and second and third centuries, which kind of evaporated, they're connected to that. So that's part of it. And she's also using early Christian sources beyond the scripture, okay? Early Christian sources of people who got it orally. And so there's stuff in the book that I thought everybody needs to know this. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:15 So it really is, it's very important. It's vital. Oh, I was going to say, I'm traveling a lot. If you want to know if I'm going to be in your town, just ask Albin. Yeah. Del 1-800. Yeah. I'm Albin.
Starting point is 00:28:33 No, actually, it's even better. If you have access to the Internet, and many people do nowadays. They do. I don't think the Internet is a fad. I think it's here to stay, unfortunately. Another couple years. If you go on the Internet, you can go to ericmataxis.com, and it has speaking. I am speaking in so many places I can't even remember.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I didn't write it down to tell you. but I mentioned that I was in Monclova, Ohio, right outside of Toledo. This weekend, I'm speaking at a conference in St. Louis, Missouri. I'm speaking several times, St. Louis, Missouri. Next week, I am, I don't even remember. North Carolina. Isn't this insane? Pick a state.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Yeah. I think from the gallery. No, no, that's wrong. that's a private event but I mean honestly go to Ericmetaxis.com because I hate it when people say like I didn't know you were in my area believe me I'm speaking all over
Starting point is 00:29:41 at Easter I'm going to be speaking near San Diego so a lot of stuff in the months and weeks I had a lot of traveling all over the place so please go to Ericmetaxis.com and even last night
Starting point is 00:29:58 like my best friends from Danbury who come up It wasn't Dino, it was someone else, said, like, have you been doing these Socrates events? Like, yes, if you're signed up for the newsletter, you missed like we had four in the last couple of months. You got to sign up, ericmetaxis.com. I don't want to shame you. InspireAdvisor.com. Inspire Advice.
Starting point is 00:33:46 advisors.com. And Robert, it looks like today you're down on Wall Street, but I know that's a fake background. But you all, you had me going. We got to keep people guessing, man. If they find out my real location, it's all over. I was going to say. Okay, so you recently had a meeting with a bank about a share, shareholder resolution. And okay, let me explain to my audience in case they don't remember what InspireAdvisors.com is all about. You guys are trying to get. people to invest their money in ways that don't undermine everything they believe in. And tons and tons and tons of us have a 401k or whatever it is we've going on. There's all kinds of stuff that we're invested in, which is completely evil, contrary to
Starting point is 00:34:31 what we believe in, pro-abortion stuff, pro-pornography stuff. And you're trying to help people get their money out of those things. So let me say, folks, that's why I want you to go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric, inspireadvisors.com. But tell us about your recent meeting with the shareholder meeting with this bank person. Yeah. So it inspires faith-based, biblically responsible managers. We constantly engage with the companies that we invest in and others to really speak biblical truth to corporate power. The left has been doing this for decades and is why they're largely winning that battle in corporate America. So we manage about $2 billion in growing rapidly, one of the fastest-growing
Starting point is 00:35:12 investment firms in the nation. Praise God. And so recently, we've been engaging with some shareholder resolutions with financial institutions, specifically around the issue of debanking and this really troubling trend of debanking and cancellation of conservative people and organizations from banking platforms, canceling accounts, closing accounts. Later today, I have a follow-up meeting with the General Council of M&T Bank. They employ 17,000 people. Their market cap is over $30 billion. to a large bank. And we have a meeting with the very top people to discuss this resolution. And it's because people like your listeners who invest with us have brought this money together
Starting point is 00:35:55 in one place that we can be your advocate to speak this truth and be that voice where we can have these sorts of meetings and get real action from some of the largest corporations in America. Well, it's an amazing thing again that the left is using their power. to crush Christians and people with biblical values, anybody with family values. You don't need to be a Christian. But if you believe in what most Americans have traditionally believed in, there are people, there are elites using banking, using the financial world, using the corporate world,
Starting point is 00:36:30 in really horrible, horrible ways. You've got to be aware of this. And then we have to push back, which is one of the reasons that I get excited to talk to you Robert Netsley because when I heard what you are doing, I said, how do we tell the world? How do we get people to understand that you're participating in a wicked system? Unless you get your money out of these places, we have no voice. We're going to have no voice. And so, again, the action point is please go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric.
Starting point is 00:37:07 And you can get a free investment report. but to find out how your money is working against what we believe in, how you can get it out. I mean, this is, unfortunately, this is crucial that we understand this. So please keep going, Robert. Right. I mean, the time for passivity is over. We can't just sit back and hope things get better. The hard truth is if you're sitting here listening to this right now and you have not taken a look at your portfolio,
Starting point is 00:37:35 I can almost guarantee. And guarantee is a word you can't really use in investment world, very often, but I can almost guarantee you that you're invested in stuff that would make your stomach churn. And not only that, you're probably have money in secular fund companies like Black Rock, I shares, et cetera, who are actively using your money right now and your shareholder vote to advocate for things like the institutionalization of anti-family policies, pro-abortion policies, pushing against religious freedom, make it legal for corporations to fire people, who have religiously held views, traditional viewpoints on sexual orientation and gender identity,
Starting point is 00:38:15 these things are happening right now with your money if you haven't been paying attention. And so you need to look at these things. And that's with that report that you mentioned, if you go to Inspired Advisors.com slash Eric, our team is putting together free reports for your listeners so they can actually find out what they're invested in and how they can simply and easily, frankly, it's not that hard to make some changes to the portfolio they own align their money to actually support the viewpoints and values that you hold most dear and stop things like debanking of conservative, faith-based Christians, you know, others who hold these sorts of viewpoints.
Starting point is 00:38:50 It's atrocious that's happening in America. And it has to stop, but it only will stop if people like those listening right now take some action. So we'd love to help you empower that through InspiredAdvisor.com slash Eric. And that's what our team is passionate about. And I want to be clear, folks, it's crazy not to do this because this is, free. Okay. This is free. InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric. We want to help you to get your money out of these places that are working against you and that are gaining power, by the way. You've got to, you've got to take the power back because we are allowing them to gain power to the point where we won't be able to fight against them. And I keep saying
Starting point is 00:39:31 this wherever I go that right now, whatever power you have, whatever God has given you, whatever money you have, whatever voice you have, whatever freedom you have, whatever talents you have, you need to use it now for God's purposes. If you don't, in a future day soon, you will no longer be able to use it. You will no longer have a voice. There will no longer be the ability to push back because these folks are working overtime. And so we need to do what we can. So again, inspireadvisors.com slash Eric, it is totally free.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Robert, we've just got a minute left. What else can we talk about? Well, you know, again, I just can't stress it enough to pay attention, right? The only thing that's needed for evil to succeed in the world is for good people to do nothing, right? You speak about that all the time, Eric. I'm so thankful for it. And this is the area of finance and investing is a hugely influential area. Christians and Protestants, Catholics, we control more than half the assets, investment assets in this country.
Starting point is 00:40:35 So if we just kind of got together and paid attention, that could be a huge, a huge voice for freedom and religious freedom. Well, I mean, look, I talk about this all the time. Where you spend your money, folks. You have a choice of where you spend your money. Do you spend it with a company that's going to work against your values or with your values? Way bigger than that. Where your money is invested. We've got to get serious about this.
Starting point is 00:40:59 So let me exhort you again to go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric, this is free. inspireadvisors.com slash Eric and they will help you. Robert Netsley, thank you. God bless you. It's my pleasure. God bless you. Folks, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Men, we're all over the map. In hour two today, just to be clear, maybe you just heard it or it's coming up depending what hour this is for you. Ray Comfort is my guest for the whole hour. He is amazing. I want to remind you. I can't say this, certain things I can't say enough.
Starting point is 00:41:55 InspireAdvisors.com slash Eric. I want everyone to go there and to make sure that your money is in the right hands. I am emphatic about this. Please go to inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. If everyone would do this, my goodness, the power that we have with where our money is, inspireadvisors.com slash Eric. I want to remind you, again, we fixed it, the banner at the top of Metaxistock.com, to give to food for the poor. We're doing this campaign this month.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Every year at this time, we do a campaign with food for the poor. These folks are feeding the poorest of the poor, and they need our help. So please go to Metaxus talk.com, and you'll see the banner there. You can also text my name, Eric, to 911,999. that's text Eric to 911 999 and it will come up. Now, Albin, we've been talking in this really about last night
Starting point is 00:43:04 about the Socti's and the city event and part of what makes Jeannie Konstantino's book such a big deal, folks, I'm not getting paid to promote this book, okay? We promote what we believe is good on this program. You know, sometimes we have sponsors, but we wouldn't have those sponsors unless we believe.
Starting point is 00:43:23 believed in them. And that's why I push what I push because I believe in these things are good and I want my audience to know about it. But this book, you know, there's no sponsorship. But I said, I've got to have her at Socrates and City. And in the book, which I just reread, this is Jeannie Constantine, who's The Crucifixion of the King of Glory, she gets into some specifics that you feel like you're there. She has a gift to do that. People have said that to me about my Bonhofer book. Oh, I felt, I feel like I know him. You know, and because it's not written, I mean, it is on a scholarly level, it is, it is excellent, but her goal is not just to be excellent on a scholarly level, it's actually to bring it home to you, to make it real.
Starting point is 00:44:09 And I have to say, when I read the book, which I just did in preparation for last night's event, I'm blown away. It's like you're there. And she takes you, she shows you things about what happened during the Passion Week, after Lazarus, is raised from the dead and how angry the chief priests were, they said, we've got to kill Jesus. There's no way out of this. We must kill him and we must kill him in a humiliating way so that all the people cease to follow him. And she takes you to the different places in Israel. It's a 360 view of what's going on back in the day. That's what my friend that said.
Starting point is 00:44:48 I think you might have even mentioned it, but the film came with me, 360 degrees of what's going on, you get there, and you get there, and that's what you're going to talk about now, about Israel itself, right? Well, I'm going to Israel next year. We'll be talking about that, but the ministry, the Israel Ministry of Tourism is a sponsor on this program, and their website is holyland.com.israel.com travel. Holyland.orgia.orgia. Now, the reason I think it's important to go to Israel is because every one of us who claims to have some kind of Christian faith. You want your faith to be deepened. And there is really no substitute for when you go there and when these things begin to come alive to you, it can't help but change how you see everything.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Your faith comes alive. So, of course, there's a million ways you can go there, a million tour groups, whatever, this and that. But I just want to let you know if you want information, go to hollyland. dot Israel travel. That's holyland dot Israel dot travel and that's it that's it
