Many of them have become friends over the years, and we have conversations. This is going to be more like a boxing match because the book is titled Counterpunch,

and the author is Floyd, Floyd, Floyd, Floyd, Brown, Brown, Brown. I feel like I'm introducing a boxer. Actually, I'm not. Floyd Brown is an award-winning author, media commentator, founder of the Western Journal. Many of you are familiar with that extraordinary, excellent publication, the Western Journal. But Floyd, who is a friend, has written a book called Counterpunch, an unlikely alliance of Americans fighting back for faith and freedom. Floyd Brown, my friend, welcome.

It's great to be with you, Eric. I've been looking forward to this. Well, I'm looking forward to it as well. I've been looking forward to it because you didn't even tell me, I thought we were friends, you don't even tell me you were writing a book. And suddenly Shazam, here is the book called Counterpunch. You and I are brothers in the faith. We are conservatives.

We love America. You're a lot taller than I am. Now, on Rumble, people can't tell. So I'm going to pretend that I'm a couple of. inches taller than you. But I want to say, Floyd, that when somebody writes a book like this, my first question, kind of a dumb question, but why did you write the book? In other words, you're talking about things in this book that I imagine I agree with. Why did you feel that it was important for you to write a book on where we are in the country? Because you have a great reach

through Western Journal and you are, I mean, look, you've been in the political life for years. I wanted to mention up front. You worked for Ronald Reagan in your early years. Why did you feel, what is the central message of the book that you felt I have to put this out there? So there's several reasons why I wrote the book. Number one, it's my time to step back and, you know, Western Journal produces news every day. And that news is, you know, what's happening that day. And that's like the first version of history.

I wanted to step back a little bit, Eric, and deal with some of the false narratives that have been pushed on the American people the last three to five years and to do a broader cross section of what was happening right now. So that's part of why I did it. I also did it because I think we're at such a crucial time in history. And I felt like there was an ability to help people deal with those false narratives. False narratives are intended to make people feel powerless. Correct. And, you know, I mean, look at the COVID narrative where we all were literally put on house arrest and isolated and we couldn't go anywhere. And so it made people feel powerless.

And I wanted them to understand that they still have. the same power that the founding fathers gave them and to encourage them to step out in faith and to really retake this nation. If we're going to retake America, Eric, it's going to take every single one of us coming together in unity to take America back. You know what? I've been thinking about this lately. This is like the war effort in World War II. And this is the problem with George W. Bush and the war on terror. It's like we've outsourced everything. Just do your shopping. Just do your thing. And we've got like experts and professionals on the ground in Afghanistan and every country in the world, whatever, which is total baloney. It's neocon baloney. If you're involved

in a real war, you marshal the efforts of every citizen in the country to do his part. That's what happened in World War II. Women go to factories because they're not going to be flying the bombers, but they're going to be doing their part. You're going to have a victory garden. Every single person is involved because you're at war. It's not, you know, like a minor thing to be at war. It's everything. It's existential. And the point you're making now and that I have been thinking about a lot lately is exactly this idea that we all need to be all. in. And by the way, folks, if we're not all in, if you don't figure out what job you can do and do that job to the best of your ability, we lose the war. We first of all have to understand

the nature of the war. So talk about that, Floyd. The book is counterpunch. What is the nature of this war that we're in? Well, I mean, I deal with all the false narratives. You deal with many of them on your show, you know, day by day. You know, I talk about COVID and the fact that they suppressed therapeutics, which could have helped people early on in the whole COVID fight. And, you know, I talk a lot about what I call the wealth extraction, the wealth extraction process by which the government benefits the elites through these different policies. And COVID is an excellent one. COVID minted 40 brand new billionaires, Eric, but yet thousands of small businesses.

will never reopen because of the damage that COVID did to them. So you're seeing this massive wealth transfer, not to the 1%. They always talk about the 1%. It's like the 100th of 1% right at the very, very nosebleed top. Right. The lizard people, just to cut to that chase. Yeah. And so we have seen, you know, unbelievable wealth transferred from small business,

from average working people. You know, we've just gone through 24 months of real wages going down for everyone in the country. We're in really tough economic times for the middle class, but not for the elites because they have, in essence, purchased our government. One of the things I talk a lot about is what I call the Uniparty. And it's really important for people to understand our government. they need to understand that Washington, you know, is a lot of fake theater.

There's a lot of arguments you see on Capitol Hill. And then, you know, after they argue and the Republicans are on one side and the Democrats are on the other, it's almost like a fake argument because in the end they come together. Yeah. They pass one of these giant resolutions that funds government for the next year. Right. And they all are on the same side. Yeah, remember when you thought Mitch McConnell gave a dang?

I can't believe how many of us have been fooled through the decades that these hacks, that these power mongers who do not care about your average American have fooled us into thinking that they care about us, they're fighting for us. We now know they're liars, they're hypocrites, they should be thrown out of office. but it took COVID and the madness of the last few years. A stolen election, Floyd, I don't know if you're aware, it was stolen. And by the way, according to biblical principles, stealing is wrong. And we need to talk about that.

But all of this stuff has woken people up to exactly what you're saying is that many in the Republican Party are fraudulent. They don't care. And we have to throw them out. And they have to, this is part of the revolution you're talking about. and replace them with people who actually believe in American principles. So that's just one place to start. Yeah, no, no. And we saw this really well when Tucker Carlson brought out the January 6th footage because, you know,

the next morning after that Monday night broadcast where he really showed that January 6th was not an attempted insurrection. In fact, it was basically a bunch of peaceful protesters that were infiltrated. by Antifa from Baltimore and by federal agents who were bent on violence. The Trump supporters weren't the one committing the violence. And so we had this false narrative for a couple of years that this was somehow an attempt by Donald Trump to have a coup d'etat and keep the presidency. I want to pick up on that because we're not done with that.

But I want to remind people before we go to the break. And I can't get it through my head how a lot of people that we thought were on our side. Some people who are friends of mine still believe the lie, the fake narrative of January 6th. They're not doing a darn thing to help people languishing in D.C. jails. This is as evil as it gets

in the United States of America. This was pushed by many Republicans, even some really good Republicans like Ted Cruz, you know, kind of gave lip service to it like, oh, yes, terrible things happened. Show me the terrible things. What are you talking about? This nonsense, this is, in case anybody has read my Bonhofer book, this is the Reichstag fire. This is a government taking advantage of a chaotic situation to demonize their enemies in a way that had never been done in the history of the United States before. So please continue. No, you're absolutely right.

And as I was saying, the morning after Tucker showed just a little bit of that January 6th footage. And so we have to realize there are facts and then there are fake facts. And, you know, for the last few years since January 6th, we have gotten nothing but the fake facts. And so Tucker finally was going to show us some of the real facts. And what happened? The next morning you expect. you know, Chuck Schumer to go to the well of the Senate and denounce, you know, Tucker Carlson. And that lovely nasal voice he has.

And denounce the evils of Rupert Murdoch. But right after him was Mitch McConnell, who did the same thing. And then they were followed by a group of Republican senators all spouting the same thing, this completely false narrative. And it's as if they don't understand what was going on. And I want to remind everybody what was stopped that day. What was stopped that day was Paul Gossar was just preparing to give his objections to the election of 2020. And he was going to lay out the facts. Excuse me.

That's what was stopped. That's exactly correct. Folks, are you tracking how sick this is, how evil this is? They concocted this whole scenario specifically to stop the stop the steal. They knew that the facts looked very bad for them. They knew what they had done. It was being dealt with. And they said, let us now pull out all the stops.

We will do anything, including murder, Ashley Babett. We'll do whatever needs to be done because we cannot let these principled conservatives who love America actually dig in to what just happened. Now, I knew Ted Cruz was going to speak. A lot of folks were going to speak. Who was Paul Gosar? Paul Gosar was the congressman from Arizona who was going to lay out how the election was stolen in Arizona. So, you know, those of us who've been involved in elections for a long time, I mean, I've been involved, Eric, in four wave elections. The first one, as a young man in my 20s, was the Reagan Revolution, a huge wave election.

We thought it was going to systemically change the country. Then by 1994, I was running Citizens United, and we had the contract with America, Newt Gingrich. And we thought that was going to be a wave election. It was a wave election. We thought it would systemically change America, and it really didn't. Then came, by the time the Tea Party came around in 2009, I was running Western Journal.

And I spoke at no less than 50 Tea Party rallies. around the country. And the truth was, we thought that was going to change American. It didn't. And then, of course, the MAGA election of 2016 that we were all convinced was going to change things, because not only did we have the House and the Senate, but we had a president of the United States.

We had the trifecta. And even despite that, we couldn't repeal Obamacare. So, you know, I think what I wanted to do with this book was some interesting. Why is that? What was it about those wave elections that made them different than one that will really change America? And I came to the conclusion, Eric, that what we needed was a twin track system. We have to also be involved in spiritual warfare. The truth is, is those four wave elections were the activities of men and the principalities and the spirits and the spirits that are overwashing. D.C. and these other major cities have to also be held in check by spiritual forces. And that means at the same time we're organizing on the ground, we have to go out and be involved in spiritual warfare and call upon Jesus and his mighty army to defeat those principalities, which are keeping these evil people in power.

I can't believe you're talking about this crazy spiritual stuff, Floyd. This is a professional program. We don't talk about that kind of stuff on here. Just kidding. I could not agree with you more. You know that about me. What you have just said is absolutely true. What we are facing, apart from God, there is no way, as you've just outlined, in succeeding.

We need God's help, just as we had in the American Revolution. We need miraculous intervention in addition to the Continental Army. We need George Washington. We need all these things. But without God, without appealing to God, or as Washington would say to Providence, there's no way we can succeed. So I'm really glad for you to bring this up because I think things have had to get this bad for most Americans to wake up to the fact that at its whole,

heart, this is a spiritual battle. This is not just a battle politically. There's still a lot of people naive enough to think that this is just a political battle. It is not just a political battle, not at all. Yeah, and that's why everyone has to be involved. No one can be on the sidelines. Right. We have to, if we're going to take this country back, and especially, you know, I know you have spoken out extensively to the church, but, um, you know, I also talk to the church, and that is we have to get churches off the sidelines. There's a heresy that's crept into the American church, and we have to continue to call it out, and that's this heresy, that there's some kind of separation between church and state.

When you become a new creature in Christ, he takes over all of your life. He doesn't just have a piece of your life. He wants all of it. That means he's over your job. He's over your family. He's over your church. He's over your government. And so we want him integrated fully in everything we do.

And listen, lest anybody has just been triggered by what Floyd said, let me break it down for you. We're not talking about theocracy. On the contrary, the principles in the Bible lead to freedom, which is to say religious freedom, which is to say everyone is genuinely free. to believe as they like, not to believe, but the point is that the separation of church and state refers to the opposite of what most people think it does. It refers to separating the church and state to protect the church to be the church, not to protect the state from the infiltration of Christians. You know what happens when Christians infiltrate? They abolish slavery. They abolish

Jim Crow laws, when Christians infiltrate, when Christians get involved, which is utterly constitutional and legal and protected by our founding documents, good things happen for everybody. And so, I'm so glad you're bringing this up, Floyd. As you know, I go around the country talking about exactly what you just said. When the church thinks like, you know what, we're going to be on the sidelines, folks, if you're on the sidelines, you know who is with you on the sidelines? The devil is with you. That's where he wants you to be. When you say, I don't want to be, that's not my lane. It's not my lane. I just want to be theological. I just want to preach the gospel. You're preaching the gospel of the devil at that point. You've been deluded. It's okay to be

diluted as long as you repent. But, you know, Floyd, we were talking about the Reichstag, January 6th being our Reichstag event. This is exactly as you know what I write about in my book, letter to the American church, and you're putting meat on the bones here because the idea that pastors and churches around this country have been deluded into thinking that it's safe to be on the sidelines. Folks, if you are not involved in this in one way or the other, just as Floyd just said, you're working for the other side. There is no neutral ground. You are helping the Nazis to win. You're helping the Chinese communists to, to, to promote sexual slavery among North Korean women smuggled. You're helping evil. And I think that's a

hard message for people, Floyd, but we've got to get it out there. So I'm just so grateful to you for talking about that in your book. You know, here in Phoenix, we have a little elementary school district called the Washington School District. And people are wondering why one of the school board members is a, quote, transgender. She's an LGBTQ. activist. She doesn't identify as a woman. She doesn't identify as a man. She identifies as a kitten. And she wears little kitty ears to the school board. She's on the school board. Floyd, tell us more about this preposterous, sick situation where there's a woman on the school board. You said in Arizona? Yeah, so I'm on the board of trustees of Arizona Christian University, and we first found out about this because this school board member had said, we don't want any student teachers coming from Arizona Christian University because we don't want any. any more Christian teachers in our school district.

Because Christian teachers don't believe people can be kitty cats. And so she identifies as a kitty cat. But what I think people need to understand is inside that district are a number of megachurches, any of which that had gotten active or involved could have easily controlled the election. And if they'd gotten their people out to vote in that school board election, the kitty cat would have never been elected. So, you know, it is wrong for churches to sit on the sidelines. And one of the things I think that they need to do is churches need to occupy the territory where they're at. And if that means that people from the church need to run for town council or need to run for county sheriff,

there's 3,100 counties in America, Eric, there are churches in every single one of them. And this country can be saved, but it's going to require all of us getting active. It's going to require everyone and the churches need to be the leaders. And I want to say to anybody going to a church that is sitting on the sidelines, get out of that church. Do never give a thin dime again, ever to a church that is helping the enemy win. We're talking about Satan. and we're talking about those who are arrayed against America's principles that are about liberty and justice for all. Folks, if you are going to a church that pretends like this stuff is not a thing,

I want to know why. Because, and I'm here to tell you for your own soul, you have become part of the problem. You need to take a serious look at this. Maybe you can get your pastor to understand these things and to start getting active, or maybe you can get super active until you get some pushback from the pastor. But if Christians don't take this seriously, it is game over in America. That's why I wrote my book specifically at the church. But you are so right, Floyd, to talk about this. If everyone does not get involved, it's like a war effort. You know, we talk about, we got to defeat Hitler. Everyone was involved. Everyone in America was involved. And if you weren't involved somehow, you were ashamed. properly because somebody else would be suffering because of your lack of involvement.

And this is even more important because America is the last great hope for the entire globe, Eric, if America loses its bulwark of freedom and democracy, there's no place to escape to. You know, when you had, you know, Germany, you could escape. You could go, you know, to Britain or you could go to America or you could go to another place where you could be safe and be free. There's no place to go in the world if the globalists take over America, there'll be nothing from stopping an entire global empire. Which, you know, if you read your Bible carefully is, in essence, the beast system that we see in the Book of Revelation. I mean, it's hard to believe, Floyd, that what you're saying, and I've been saying as well, is actually happening now.

Like we always thought, oh, it'll happen in the future somehow. What will it look like? It will look exactly like this, folks. It's pretty dramatic. But if you want to pretend it's not happening, again, you're helping it to happen. You're working for Antichrist. Now, you might know that. We're here to tell you, you know, there's a chance to get out of that.

There's a chance to repent. a chance to do the right thing. But you have to hear God's warning. Everything Floyd is saying, everything I am usually talking about is a warning to say, folks, please try to hear the truth about what is happening right now and stop listening to the siren song of cowardly or confused Christian leaders who don't want any part in this. There were leaders just like that when the Nazis rose to power. And because they decided to sit on the sidelines, satanic evil triumphed in Europe, that is happening now. And Floyd, I'm just so grateful to you for writing about it as you have. Yeah, when I was when I was young, my grandfather, who actually, he was a missionary before World War II to Indonesia, Eric.

And he was actually chased out of Indonesia when the Japanese invaded and had to make his way to Australia and then back to the United States. So, you know, as I was a young man growing up, he would, he, he was always tuned in to the signs of the times and he would talk to me, you know, and share with me, you know, from prophecy in the Old Testament and from the book of Revelation about things that were happening. And I remember back in the 70s thinking, you know, how in the world could anyone ever control all commerce? Because it predicts in the book of Revelation that, you know, there's going to be a. system that controls all commerce in the entire world. And I said, that can't happen.

But today, with central bank digital currencies that are just around the corner, Eric, it's absolutely possible for them to control every single transaction that's ever made. For the first time in the history of the world, ladies and gentlemen, the Bible predicted it. Whoa, what a surprise. God could see the future. He is outside of time. He tells us in advance. He warns us.

Typically, we ignore the warning. That's not his will. When we come back, plenty more with Floyd Brown. The book is Counterpunch. The father's help did slowly go by and feed them on your dream. There's so much more. Chapter 11, how to halt America's financial insanity, and that's the first half of the book only. This is really important, Floyd. I just want to thank you for being a loud, articulate voice in helping us understand what's going on. Because I know there are many people, many conservatives that still don't understand what we're

facing. And at its heart, it is a spiritual battle. I think that's part of the key to revival and reformation is that there are people waking up and they're saying, you know what, this looks like we're dealing with evil. This is not just leftists. they are animated by darker forces than we had imagined existed. Yeah, no. And so we, you know, we've all grown up in such a secular society that we're really taught from the time

where young children that there's nothing but what we see, touch, and feel. And you have to get beyond that and understand there are spiritual forces at work that are active and that influenced the world that we can't see. It's this unseen world that they talk about in the Bible, and that actually I think St. Paul does a great job of teaching us about that unseen world and the principalities that are in it, but also he gives us the tools in Ephesians to be able to prepare ourselves for battle with these unseen realms. And so it's really important. You lost all the Episcopalians.

They've just tuned out. Please continue. When you said St. Paul, you pulled some of them in, but as soon as you talk about spiritual warfare. Actually, no, there are some Episcopalians who get this, but there are many Christians who don't get, this is like a foreign language to them. And that's part of why I have folks like you on the program to help them understand. No, no, no, no, no, folks.

This is Christianity 101. You got to get this. You can't go. You know, you can't graduate first grade unless you figure out, like, how to use the alphabet. This is as basic as it gets. No, it really is. And we are in a spiritual battle. And that's why we have to put on the full army of God.

I actually tell people if they want discernment, rather than read the news, read your Bible. It's interesting. It's the Bible gives you, you know, true. it gives you a foundation that you can then discern the news with. You know, America, we're really fortunate because our founders built our house, our country on the rock and not on the sand. And another part of what I want people to understand is that they appealed to heaven. In fact, they even had a flag called the Appeal to Heaven flag.

They were always appealing to heaven in their battle against, um, uh, um, Britain. And so it's, it's, it's, it's so significant. They've given us the tools in our Constitution and in our basic laws that, that we can fight back. We've got that beautiful, beautiful bill of rights. And we have to continue to exercise those rights that we've been given by our founders and, and use those to fight back against ungodly legislation and mandates from the federal government that have to be stopped. You say that what you're calling us to is a second American revolution. And in a way, that's exactly what this is.

This is going back to the beginning, back to first principles. But, you know, there are a lot of people that they don't have the stomach for the fight. There are a lot of conservatives and a lot of Christians that say, like, you know what, there's nothing I can do, the fixes in, you know, the antichrist is here. I'm just like going to go into the root cellar. I got some water purification tablets, some slim gyms. I'm going to ride it out, you know, until I'm translated to glory or until the rapture or whatever it is. I want to say to those people, folks, that's the voice of the devil.

He doesn't want you to fight. God wants you to fight. God made you to fight. It's the most glorious adventure to which any human being can be called to fight for what is right and good and true. And we all need to be involved in it. And the harvest is plentiful. People want the truth. People need the truth. And, you know, this whole idea that I'm going to, you know, go in my cellar and, you know, sit with my stored food and write it out. That's not what my gospel teaches me to do. My gospel teaches me to occupy where I'm at to be active, to be the salt and the light in the world. And as it gets darker, Eric, the truth is the light is brighter and people are drawn to it and there is a huge harvest and we just have to do our jobs through Christ Jesus and help bring that harvest in. Well, that really is what's happening

right now. The darkness has obviously gotten darker. But Romans 828 says all things work together for good for those that love the Lord and are called according to his purposes. So when things get darker, that's part of the all things that work together for good. Because things have gotten darker, because we have a bumbling pseudo-president in the White House, bringing disaster upon disaster upon disaster, it's waking people up. The only thing would be a greater blessing is if he stepped out because of a corruption scandal and we had Kamala Harris as our president, that would wake up 10 times more people. Because people are waking up. because things have gotten so disastrous. And folks, I promise you, they will get more disastrous. Be prepared to turn to God. Be prepared to understand that without him, we can't do this. We need to appeal to heaven. I don't know if we can keep you for the final segment, Floyd. Folks, we have the privilege of a few more minutes with our friend Floyd Brown. He's the founder of the Western Journal. You've got to check out the Western Journal. And he's the author of a brand new book called Counter Punch. Floyd, you're giving us hope. There are many people out there. They're just ringing their hands. They watch the news way too much.

Instead of saying, what is God saying? What is God who is the author of goodness and truth and beauty and liberty? what is he saying I ought to do? You and I know that he's saying we ought to fight. We ought to be a part of this glorious revolution, not the 17th century, British glorious revolution, but of the current glorious revolution, because if we all fight, we can't imagine what we're going to see. We have forgotten that it's possible to win victories.

We're going to see victories. We're going to see God help us win victories. Yeah, no, these false narratives, it's Eric, make us feel powerless. And then you lay our on top of that, a church that has forgotten the power that they have through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And you've got a desperate, desperate situation. So people need to get back into Scripture. They need to get back into truth. And that's what Scripture is. It's His Word. And they need to just devour it and eat it. but then they also need to ask for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit so they can experience

the entire power and the churches can experience the power that comes with a full relationship in the Holy Spirit and then we are going to reap a huge harvest. I believe we're at a tipping point, Eric. I think things are going to get better. I think Satan was trying to claim too much. real estate and our Savior in heaven is going to counter punch him back through the spiritual realm. We're going to counter punch here at the local level and then we are going to see a time of great harvest between now and the end. I believe that.

There are certain voices like, you know, in the prophetic realm who have been saying things along these lines. Mike Thompson in Las Vegas, who has a new book out called Third Heaven Authority. There are many people saying these things, but the key folks is that prophets don't tell us, you know, what's going to happen inevitably. What they're basically telling us is if we do what God has called us to do, if we get off the sidelines and understand this is your battle, this is not somebody else's battle, this is your battle. and if you don't fight, you're helping the enemy to win. People have to understand that. There is no safe, third, neutral ground. Either you are working with God for his purposes now,

and we all have a job to do, and you keep saying it, Floyd, but it's a very important thing to underscore. Every single person has a role. If we were fighting Hitler, you know, 11-year-old boys were collecting cans for the war effort. People had victory gardens. Everybody is involved. If you're not involved, you should be ashamed not to be involved because you're making it harder for other people to be involved.

And also, Eric, Christ gives us great peace when we're involved. When we step into his will, he has a plan for each and every one of us. And if we ask him what that plan is, he will tell us what that plan is. And then if we execute, you're going to have peace and joy and satisfaction in your life like you've never had before. Okay. And that needs to be said. I forgot the joy part. Folks, you were made for this.

If you don't do this, if you don't fight, you'll be miserable. If you do fight, if you do these things, God will help you. He will give you peace and joy. He will be the wind at your back. You need to know that so that when you get into this, you know. No, he is with you, and he made you for this, whoever you are. Floyd Brown, I know who you are. I want to say thank you.
