Hey there, folks.
Welcome to Wednesday.
Albin, today's Wednesday.
Please make it over.
Oh, I love it.
I love Wednesday.
Don't you just love Wednesday?
Not always.
Midweek kind of.
Can we make one thing that?
Can we do that?
No, no.
No, it's great because it's like, hey, it's almost here.
That's the weekend.
It's almost like we're doing up.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, we're working.
in the salt mines, but we're just another couple of days and we'll be there.
All right, look, I'm still in California.
You can probably tell because I think I got a sunburn.
I was out yesterday.
I always like to get sun because, you know, we don't have as much sun in New York City.
And I think I got a, I got a little bit of a sunburn, but I don't care.
It makes me look healthy.
Let me say this.
I'm growing to like California.
I never used to like it very much.
But I've met so many wonderful people here that last night I was with Pastor Greg Denham, D-E-N-H-A-M.
And he is like, you know, you meet somebody and it's like, oh, this is my new dear friend.
Like we've known each other forever.
He reminds me of Greg Lorry, who's another friend from California.
I said he was like a cross between Greg Lorry and Howie Mandel.
If they had a son, Greg Denham seemed to me like a little bit of each of them.
but we had an event here last night at his church, and it was so wonderful.
I met so many wonderful people.
I have to tell you, we're going to put it online, I guess, either today or tomorrow,
but he interviewed me, and it was a lot of fun.
It was amazing.
I'm in San Marcos, which is near Carlsbad, California.
And just really an amazing, wonderful event.
I met so many wonderful people.
I always meet at least one Greek in line, one.
That's perfect.
Yeah.
And go.
So anyway, as I said, Pastor Greg Denham, my new best friend here in San Marcos, California,
just so many wonderful people.
We'll get that online, the video of that, his interview.
Tonight, I'm speaking in Signal Hill, California.
It's about an hour and 20 minutes from here.
It's up in Orange County.
And I post all of this on my website, ericentaxus.com.
I probably never mentioned that before.
But the newsletter, if you go to EricMetaktax.com and sign up for the newsletter, honestly, I meet people in line when I'm signing books.
And they say, oh, I listen to your program, but they don't get the newsletter.
And so they say, how do I listen to Milo Yanopolis?
Well, you got to get the newsletter because the newsletter will tee it up.
You just go, oh, there's Milo, click, and there it is.
Otherwise, you have to go looking for it on Rumble.
Some people don't know how to spell rumble.
It's rumbbLE.com.
but anyway, please sign up for the newsletter, folks.
Please, because if you're bored, you can just delete it,
but there's so much stuff in there that we send out.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I delete it every week.
So, folks, sign up and delete it.
And I eventually delete it as well.
By the way, we've got a couple of things to say about today.
First of all, in a couple of minutes, I'm talking to Governor Scott Walker.
The governor, Scott Walker, is going to be on this program.
Very exciting.
He's a big deal.
He's a very principled conservative Republican.
And you know, those are very rare.
Did you know that?
A lot of them are skunks.
Yeah, that's true.
So Scott Walker is one of the good guys.
So we want to have them on this program.
I'm excited.
I'm getting a lot of great feedback on the Milo interview.
I was running along the beach here in the, on the Pacific Rim where I live now.
And yesterday I was listening to the interview with Milo.
And he said some unbelievable things.
And I thought I've got to listen to these interviews more often.
because I forget. I'm in so much in the moment. But when you're talking about people with unwanted
same-sex attraction, being unable to get help because we live in such a sick society,
it's amazing. Listen to the interview with Milo, and please share it, folks. I have to say,
we need your help. We need you to share these things because there are people out there that need
to hear this. I mean, the Milo thing, I would say, people really need to hear that. There are people
hungry to hear that. And I just want to say that we will appreciate that. If you share these
videos, I think we'll play the Lou Dobbs video again tomorrow. People love that. Newsmax wanted to
interview me about the Lou Dobbs video. Right. Isn't that weird? They don't want to interview
Lou Dobbs. They want to interview me. And I was supposed to be on the Stinchfield show yesterday,
Stinchfield. And he got canceled because of the Derek Chauvin trial. Right.
which my eyes, can you see my eyes glazed over at the, I mean, we cover stuff in this country.
Like, the whole country has to be tuned in.
Like, right.
I don't know.
Well, I think he wanted to interview you because he would get two guests in one, one shot.
He would get Lou Dobbs.
Because I am Lou Dobbs.
I am Lou and Eric, now that I've.
Like Abbott and Lou Costello.
Exactly.
Let me say, happy birthday, Queen Elizabeth.
Yes.
She's 95 years old today.
And because of the passing of her husband, Prince Philip,
they're not celebrating her birthday the way they normally do.
But she's the longest reigning monarch, I think in the history of the world,
but certainly in the history of England.
She blows away, Queen Victoria, blows her away.
And George III was also long reigning.
Oh, that God.
Although the last few years of his reign was a regency with his son,
the King George IV, who was not a great guy.
kind of sad. But anyway,
we talked about yesterday, I was on,
I was on Frank Speech.com. You saw that album.
What did you take away from that? Because whenever I'm on with Mike Lindell,
it's a little confusing because he's such a larger than life character.
Yeah, yeah, he's always going like a mile a minute.
But the thing that really stuck out to me,
and I think you've got to use this over and over again,
and this is in all seriousness,
you talked about Galileo, back in the 1600s, whatever.
Galileo had a telescope.
and he said that a church, just look through the telescope and you're going to see what the world is really like and it's going to change your perspective on things.
But the church wouldn't even look through the telescope.
Oh, yeah.
No, it wasn't the church.
It wasn't the church.
It was mostly, see, this is part of, I'm writing about this in my next book, is atheism dead.
This is like the founding myth of atheism, right, or secularism, that it was Galileo, the brave scientist versus the church.
That's not even true.
Galileo was a profound Christian.
And Copernicus, who preceded Galileo by almost a century, who discovered roughly the same thing, that the Earth is not the center of the universe, that the Earth travels around the sun, both of them were profound Christians.
And it was really the university Aristotelians.
I mean, somewhere in the church, but a lot were just, you know, in the university.
They were, it was because of their fidelity to Aristotle that they opposed Galileo.
but here's the point. Galileo said, hey, if I'm wrong, just look to the telescope. Here's the telescope.
Don't be afraid. I've got a teed up for you. Look through it. And you tell me, am I seeing something that you're not seeing?
Yeah, yeah. And this is an exact quote of the university guys that would not look through a telescope.
They say, come on, gee, man. I'm not going to look through that. That's just a toilet paper roll with a monocle at each end.
That's right. That's exactly what they said, except they said it in the Italian of that.
century. Albin, go to the head of the class and then get out. All right, listen, this is,
this is, we were talking, I was on, I was on, I was on with Mike Lindell yesterday on Frankspeech,
Frankspeech.com. They've been hacked. They're having all these problems, but I was on there yesterday
with Mike. And I'm looking at, I mean, just so I wonder people, people understand why we're bringing
up Galileo. I was saying that when you see him interview these people about how China in particular
are hacked into our election, it's incontrovertible. It's inescapable. It happened. He talks to the experts.
They show you how it happened. He shows us everything. But the mainstream media refuses to look through
the telescope. They just say, you know what? We don't want to know. We're afraid if we look through
the telescope, if we look at what you're saying, Mike, we might think as you do. And then we'll be
crazy like you and we'll know that Joe Biden wasn't actually elected. And we don't want to be one of
those conspiracy theorists. We'd rather be in our own fantasy that everything went as it's supposed to go.
And so what they did was they said, we're just going to ignore it. We're going to make fun of Mike Lindell.
We're going to call him a conspiracy theorist. And we're just not going to look at the evidence.
We don't want to know. We don't want to know. Don't make us look through the telescope. Please,
we'll just take a pass on that. And Galileo made fun of these people. One of the people who
who said he wouldn't look through the telescope was an older gentleman, an older professor,
and he died.
And after he died, Galileo joked to a friend that, you know, maybe since he didn't want to
look, you know, at these planets while he was here on Earth, maybe now on his way to heaven,
he'll have the opportunity to see it even more closely.
Anyway, we'll be right back with that governor.
What's his name?
Scott Walker.
Don't go away.
Hey there, folks.
Welcome back, as promised, the former governor of Wisconsin.
Did you guess Scott Walker? You guessed right. Governor Scott Walker, always good to see you.
Thanks for being with us. I want to ask you about everything. Tell us what is the Young America's
Foundation and then tell us about the long game. Yeah, it's simple. The long game is a part of this
larger plan. But first to your question, Young America's Foundation, YAF, really simply put is we
train the next generation of America's freedom fighters. It goes all the way back to 1960 with
William F. Buckley. Ronald Reagan was one of the earliest leaders. They focused on
college campuses. We now go into high school. And now, just two months in as the new president,
I've initiated the long game because what we do, we do well, but we got to do more.
The left is reaching out to more and more young people at younger and younger ages. And so the
long game, which people can get their free copy of it, YAF.org slash long game,
the long game is about pushing back on this decades and decades.
decades of radicalization from the far, far left that we see not only our college campuses,
but all throughout our culture. And even in our communications these days, when it comes to
censorship from big tech, we've got to fight back, not just to win the battle, but to win the
war for the heart and soul of America. And that's what the long game's all about.
One of the reasons so many of us have followed you is because you stood up to the radicals
in Wisconsin rather famously.
What do you think accounts for the inability of so many in the GOP to stand up at the moment
when we need them to stand up?
Because you really did stand up heroically and so many people cheered.
But I'm always fascinated when people that I think of as on our team,
they buckle at that crucial moment.
Yeah, I think it's amazing to me that,
that doing what you said you're going to do is considered courageous.
To me, it's just what I was taught to do growing up, that, you know, you tell people what you're going to do and you go out and do it.
Unfortunately, in politics, that's fairly rare, particularly for conservatives, which is even more bizarre,
because what we find is that conservatives win and stay in office when they do the things that they say they're going to do.
Liberals win when when they run like conservatives, but then they don't do what they say they're going to do when office.
act like liberals. You know, they try to act more, more mainstream. I think the bottom line is that,
and this goes back to what I was saying about the left taking charge here, didn't happen
overnight. It's been happening for decades. And so I think there's many conservatives who feel
intimidated as the left has done, gone from just being biased on campus and biased in culture,
to go into political correctness to now just outright cancel culture. And I think there are far too many
conservatives who are intimidated, which is exactly the intention. The reason why they want to cancel out
all conservative voices in our society these days is because our ideas work. And so if you somehow
are allowed to expose those ideas, particularly the young minds, and you make the case,
for example, the failures of socialism in a place like Cuba or Venezuela versus the success of
freedom and opportunity in America, you can see plainly. The facts clearly show that it succeeds.
but somehow we get intimidated.
And it's really compounded, particularly this last year,
where the left has been very, very effective
and intimidating people, other than the handful of really strong,
bold people speaking up.
That's exactly why we've got to initiate a long game
to turn that around, not just for the sake of conservatives,
but really for the heart and soul of our republic.
Well, I think we have to call it what it is.
It's cultural Marxism.
In other words, I think that oftentimes, even talking about the left, the left has shifted from the center to, you know, the French Revolution left.
There's a kind of a madness that's taken over.
And I do think that a big part of it, one of the reasons I want to have you on, is to educate young people on what we're dealing with and what freedom actually is.
If you don't understand what American self-government is, how can you possibly stand up for it when it's being embattled?
So tell us how does the Young Americans Foundation reach out to young people?
Is it on campuses exclusively?
Is it online?
What do you all do?
Yeah, it's all the above.
But one particular thing, just go back to that point.
I think you're exactly right about Marxism.
Marxism failed in America generations ago because we don't live in a class-based society.
We're one of the few places in the world where it doesn't matter what income you were born into, what class you were born to.
anyone can succeed in America.
You can be the poorest, the poor, and run your own company or be elected president of the United States.
It doesn't matter by class.
And so they've come back at another way to impose Marxism in this country by really focusing in on dividing people,
pitting groups of people against each other based on things like race and gender and sex.
And that's what we've seen with, you know, movements like the BLM movement,
which is led by three self-identified Marxist organizers.
It's what critical race theory is about.
It's about really being divisive and pitting folks against each other,
which is why Young America's Foundation,
particularly with this long game,
knows we've got to get the truth out to more people.
We're already on over 2,000 campuses where we support conservative students,
but that's not enough.
We've got to be on all 4,000 campuses.
We want to add a million more students to participate in our programs.
We know we've got to go beyond just campuses and all the great speakers we bring on campus
some of the best names in the conservative movement,
but we got to put them up not only on campus, but on our YouTube channel where we want to have,
as part of the long game, 5 million subscribers and over a billion views.
And then get this, we've got to go deeper.
We've got to go not only in college and high school, but into junior high and where needed,
we even need to reach out to elementary school students and their parents,
because what we see even in those earliest of ages is that increasingly teachers and curriculum
them are telling people at that young age, young people, that America somehow is broken and bad.
We want to counter things like the 1619 project with giving parents and teachers the materials
to let them know about how great America is, the wonders of our founders, the wonders of our
founding principles, the wonders of our Judeo-Christian values.
Those are the things that made America great and will continue to make it great going forward.
That's a big part of the long game.
folks, I'm talking to Governor Scott Walker.
Governor, I've got to ask you, how did you grow up?
Where did you grow up?
And did you learn these things when you were young?
We're in the same generation.
And I confess that from the 60s onward, pretty much they weren't teaching these things anymore.
You could take for granted that our parents' generation understood why America was great,
who the heroes were that enabled us to be free and to keep our country free.
when you grew up, what was your experience?
Well, I was blessed to grow up in a small town, Delavan, Wisconsin,
and that helped because my parents, my grandparents,
but even my neighbors, Claire Condon, Mr. Condon, was one of my neighbors.
He was a World War I veteran and a World War II veteran.
He was the assistant scoutmaster at our scout troop, local troop 328.
So from scouting, from my church, from the American Legion Post in town that sent me to
boys state and boys nation from and i'd even say even from my teachers even though i went to the
local community school uh government run school at the time i was blessed to a small town still had
teachers who were veterans and proud of america we all had to say the pledge every day in class
uh we still celebrated things like veterans day and flag day and things like that and i remember
ronald regan 32 years ago at the end of his eight successful years as president of united states
gave a farewell address.
And in it, he gave a warning, I often quote,
he didn't just celebrate all the good that had happened,
the changes in the economy, the improvements in the country,
the increase in patriotism.
He gave a warning for parents going into the 90s,
which was so prophetic about needing to re-institutionalize
that belief in America and the American idea.
The idea, he's actually specifically said,
we need to do more to teach American history and to share in civic rituals.
I thought of him recently when the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban,
was talking about not even playing the national anthem anymore at the basketball games.
Thankfully, that got reversed.
But that, I know about you, but for me, things like that were the things that,
it honestly didn't even matter whether you were a Democrat or Republican or somewhere in
between, young or old.
Everyone stood for the flag when it came by in the parade.
everyone said the Pledge of Allegiance, everyone sang the national anthem.
Those were things that united us like the threads in the very flag itself.
And sadly, the left, the radical element of the left, is even taking that away from us in America.
We need to regain that.
We need to reach out and grab that and bring that back, not just the ritual of the flag,
but all that it stands for with the freedom and opportunity and make that case to young people
and let them know that we love America.
We want our families to do well.
and we want the same for our neighbor.
That's a powerful message.
Well, you understand this well and you say it well.
Have you ever thought about running for public office?
I said, you know, look at it.
I'm a quarter century younger than Joe Biden,
so I figure I got plenty of time if I ever want to go back into that again.
But for right now, I know that the number one mission,
not just for me personally,
if I ever chose to run particularly on a battleground state like Wisconsin,
I think it will be hard pressed to elect a solid conservative.
We don't turn young people around and point them in the right direction.
Give them a compass to point them in the direction of the truth of America,
about how great this country is, about how great freedom and opportunity.
Contrast that with the divisiveness of the radicals on the left.
Who want to pit one group of Americans versus another.
I want to pick up right there when we come back.
You're singing my song.
Folks, I'm talking to Governor Scott Walker,
Young America's Foundation. We'll be right back.
Folks, welcome back. I'm talking to Governor Scott Walker, who is now the head of the Young
America's Foundation. We're talking about the long game. Governor, I didn't know that the Young
America's Foundation had been around so long. Tell us when it started, because I'm fascinated
to hear this. Yeah, September 11, 1960 at the home of William F. Buckley in Sharon, Connecticut. In fact,
the founding mission statements called the sharing statement, and it talked about freedom,
not just political freedom, economic freedom, you can't have one without the other,
made a compelling case so much so.
A couple years after that, Ronald Reagan, who was then not even in office, even as governor
at the time, became a part of the National Advisory Committee, actually was the chair of
that.
And throughout all of his time in public office, as governor and then eventually as president,
and even in the time between, YF actually sponsored his radio addresses,
before he was president in the United States.
And then when he was president, he would always speak and have students at the White House
who were part of YAF and did so even after his time in office.
And that's why one of the many great things we do, most of which are on campuses and schools
across America.
But one of the cool things we do as well is years ago when Mrs. Reagan was looking to sell
the ranch off outside of Santa Barbara, California, YAF took control of that.
And today, students, now we can go to the ranch itself.
They can go to a center we built years after where they can hear from some of the best
conservative speakers in the country.
We do it for both high school and college age students.
In the future, I want to do some of those things for middle school parents and or middle school
students and their parents as well.
But it's a tremendous opportunity and a great legacy that President Reagan has left us.
Well, that is, this is all good news.
I'm rarely embarrassed by not knowing something.
I feel like I have an inkling about everything I'm supposed to know.
But what you just told me now, I'm stunned that I don't remember that the Young
America's Foundation was started by William F. Buckley, one of my true heroes,
at the privilege of meeting him a few times.
But the idea that it was started as far back as 1960, this is a wonderful institution.
I'm really glad that you, Governor Scott Walker, decided to head it up.
I think there's a lot of work that can be done.
I want to talk more about civic rituals.
You talked about Reagan in his last address or one of them talking about how we need to educate folks on American history.
And he mentioned civic rituals.
That's something I've talked about.
It is really key.
I remember, I think, in fifth grade celebrating Flag Day, I'd never heard of it before.
And how it speaks to young hearts when they take part in something, they know it's beautiful.
They can feel that there's something good and right and true in it.
you just said, we have folks like Mark Cuban and others who really don't get this. And you think
that by their age, they should get this, but they don't get it. What can we do or what are some
of the things that we can do to help folks want to celebrate America and to celebrate American
values? What are some of the things that we can do as a people? Well, I think this is the pushback.
And we need to push back firmly. We need to take this head on. And that is, again, there are those
and the left, this is part of, you go back to Marxism, we were talked about, is to create
division, the great friction instead of the unity that we had. And by unity, I don't mean we all
agree on the same issues, but as Americans, the shared ritual as a part of it, that
there were certain things that transcended different political beliefs. And those who were radical
on the left and increasing in the Marxist frame of mind, want to take that away from us.
So part of our long game, which by the way, if people want to see the whole long game, we'll
singing an absolute free copy, go to yaf.org slash long game. That's yaf.org slash long game.
But one of those things, as I mentioned, is even for younger students and parents,
is to give them materials, give them literature about the beauty of our founders, to understand how
this country is built, to understand what it means to stand for the pledge, what it means to sing
the national anthem. Those aren't just nice things to do. Those are rituals that tie into
reinforcing, not pledging some blind allegiance, but rather understanding all the things that are
founders put together that they literally risked their lives for. Remember, these were people
who didn't just, you know, risk their business ventures or their political careers. They,
they literally risked their lives for the freedoms we have today. And the least we can do is make
sure that our kids and our grandkids understands the significance of not just those founders,
but all those courageous men and women over the years since then who have stood up as part of our U.S.
military defended those freedoms, sometimes even died for those freedoms.
Those are powerful, powerful world.
I remember going to the Boys Nation, the program I mentioned when I was in high school,
going to the wall, the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., just a few years after it opened,
one of my senior counselors, a guy named Bob Turner, Bob was the first Vietnam veteran to be
the National Commander of the American Legion a few years after I was in that program.
But I remember being there with Mr. Turner and him touching the wall and crying and seeing names
that he remembered from Vietnam that he knew and served with along the way.
To me, one of the best ways we can honor those names is just like the slabs of black granite there.
When it's sunny out, you can see your own reflection.
And it is to let a part of their lives and what they stood for reflect in each and every one of us.
That's what shared rituals are about.
it's not about all having the same exact political beliefs,
but having the same love and admiration for America and all that it stands for.
That's something powerful that we've got to pass on,
not just for ourselves, but for future generations.
That's a big part of the long game.
We've got a short segment following this.
Can you stick around for another seven minutes?
I think he's got it.
I am talking to Governor Scott Walker.
It's wonderful to hear that he is the new head of the young America's
foundation. As he mentioned, go to
yaf.org. That's yaf.org.
Get a copy of the long
game. This is the Eric Metaxis show. We will be right
back. Just yesterday morning
they let me know you were gone
suits and the plans they may
put an end to you.
I walked out this morning.
As I'm talking to Governor Scott Walker. He is the new
head of the young
America's foundation started by one of my great heroes, William F. Buckley. Did you ever get to meet
a Buckley, Governor Walker? I did not. No, I admired him as well. And President Reagan,
when I went to Boy's Nation, of all things we were supposed to meet him, but that was the week
he went in for colon cancer surgery. So a great admirer certainly made me not just a conservative,
but an optimist. That's why even with all the odds stocked against us in terms of campuses, for sure,
but even increasingly in culture and in our communications.
I'm still in optimist.
I still know that if we get the truth out, we get the facts out about our love for America,
about our love for freedom and opportunity for every single individual in this great country,
that that message will prevail.
We just got to do it.
Do you ever get the idea that we have to be in a real battle for some people to wake up
and to understand that we could lose something valuable?
I guess most of us have been so blessed in America with freedom that we heart
know what it is. And it's only when it's under threat that we begin to realize that, in the
words of Franklin, we've got to keep it. You know, it's a republic. If you can keep it, suddenly we
realize there's work to do for us to keep it. Well, you're exactly right. We just had earlier this
year, one of our in-person conferences, our freedom conference was in Miami. We went to Florida
because thanks to Ron DeSantis, who's, I think, arguably the greatest active governor in America
today. But we went to Miami in particular in that great state because we wanted to
to be close to an ever-growing and increasingly conservative of Cuban-American population.
And we had speakers not only connect to Cuba, but connect to families that have come from Venezuela
as well. And in each of those instances, one of the things I love pointing out is, you know,
that for years, one of my complaints for conservatives is that we think and talk with our head,
the left thinks and talks with their heart. We shouldn't concede the logic of our head,
but we should explain in ways that appeal to the heart. There's nothing, I think,
think in my mind more compelling on this issue than if you have someone whose family fled,
the socialism in a place like Venezuela or increasingly a place like Cuba over the years,
they know that all the false promises of power to the people really end up into massive
failure under socialism, that the power goes into the hands of the few of the elite and the people
get stuck with poverty and oppression. One in particular point out his uncle was locked up
under Castro for nine years before his parents finally fled and came in through the Freedom
Tower in Miami. Those sorts of stories are a great wake-up call, I think, to many Americans,
including many young people who've had it good, who are many generations removed from their
ancestors coming from whether it was socialist or communist-based countries. So they don't fully know
what's at stake. But, man, I ask someone whose family or themselves have come from a current socialist
or a previous communist country.
And they'll tell you they kiss the ground every single day.
And thank God for being able to live in this country that provides freedom and opportunity
for so many.
That's a powerful message.
And again, it's part of the long game and what we're pushing to get back into the schools
to tell people why freedom and opportunity is so important.
My mom came from what was East Germany.
My dad came from Greece, which was embattled with the communists.
So I grew up hearing this over and over and over.
over. And it is a funny thing when you realize that a lot of Americans, we really have been so
blessed. And unless you hear from someone who has experienced it, you don't understand how bad
things can get. Let me ask you, when I drifted off to college, I was exposed to a lot of the woke
thinking, even though it was in the 80s. Where did you go to college? And what was your experience?
Were you already a confirmed conservative, or were you drifting as I was at the time?
Well, I was lucky. I grew up and, again, had great, great roots in a small town.
Ironically, where I grew up in Wisconsin, about 15 miles to east of me was someone you mentioned Greece,
someone whose grandparents came from Greece, and that's Reince Previs.
About 15 miles to the west of me was a guy by the name of Paul Ryan.
People used to ask what was in the water back then that made us all three follow similar tracks.
I said it was Wisconsin. It was Wisconsin. It wasn't water. It was the beer. But all kidding, aside,
I'm just blessed to have had good influences along the way. When I went to college, I was involved,
not just as you might expect with things like college Republicans, but students for life and just conservatives in general.
And I got to tell you, that that's probably more than anything. I came in conservative,
and I left just as conservative. It's probably more than anything, not because of the education I received at Marquette University,
but because of the people I surround myself with.
That's why, again, what we do at YAF and our partners,
students for life, for example, is one of those partner organizations.
We do many events and sponsor many a speaker with college Republicans on campuses as well.
It's so important for us to work together with these other conservative youth-based organizations
because, again, the left strategy is to try and marginalize.
It's trying to make sure that people feel intimidated or outright discouraged and walk away.
and when they walk away, they don't get to hear
and others don't get to hear the good news
of the freedoms and opportunities
that we're fighting to protect.
That's why there's strength in numbers
and the more conferences, the more members,
the more students, the more activities,
the deeper into earlier grades we can reach,
not only for students,
but one part of our 12-point action plan,
the long game, even is about propping up
and supporting educators, teachers and professors,
not only conservative ones,
but just those that want to be objective and teach the facts,
they often feel intimidated just like our students.
They're strength in numbers.
We're on the right side of history on this.
We just got to get it out to more young people and sooner.
Well, it's wonderful.
Again, the website is yaf.org.
Is there anybody out there?
In other words, if people say, this is a great idea, how can I help?
Would it be students?
Would it be parents?
Who should contact?
you and what can they do? Can they bring this to their colleagues?
Absolutely. Everything you just mentioned. So if you're a student listening or you know a student
YF.org, plug into this. The long game, we'll get you a copy. If there's a chapter on your
campus or your school, we'll plug you in. If there's not, we'll sign you up as a member.
We'll plug you in and help you start one. We'll work on free speech if your school's trying to
block you or others from organizing or bringing a speaker in. We'll plug you in to our YouTube
channel so you can see our speakers not only on your school or campus, but all across the country.
If you're a parent, I want some more materials, we'll get that for you, or a grandparent.
If you're just a supporter, you say, I want to help. I want to help organize. I want to help
recruit. I want to make a financial contribution, whatever it might be. We can plug every single
person in. There's just way too much at stake. As Reagan, rightfully said, years ago,
freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It doesn't get passed on
through the bloodstream. You literally have to stand up and fight for it.
and defend it and pass it on to the next generation doing the same.
This is nothing but good news.
Yaf.org.
Folks run YAF.org.
Governor Scott Walker,
just thrilled to think that you are leading Young Americans Foundation.
God bless you.
Thanks for your time.
Make like a Mr. Meek.
Hey, Almond, I'm still in California.
You are.
I don't know what happened.
I'm still here.
I got to tell you, seriously,
a few things going on.
I don't want people.
I keep getting emails from people asking me questions because they listen to the show,
they hear something, and then they say, what was that?
What was that?
And they can't rewind because they're, you know, listening to the radio or whatever it is.
So yesterday I got a question, what's that, what's that supplement thing that, that, you know, whatever,
that you mentioned on your program?
And so rather than email everyone, I thought maybe I'll just say it on the program.
Would that be okay?
Yeah, yeah, I try that.
Try that.
Our new sponsor is NutraMedics.
It's N-U-T-R-A, Nutra-M-E-D-I-X, M-E-D-I-X, Nutrammedics.com.
Nutrammedics.com is our new sponsor, and we have the same code, Eric.
So if you go to Nutramedics.com, whatever you order there, use the code, Eric, and you'll get, I believe it's a 10% discount.
But I want to say this.
The reason I'm so excited about Nutrametics is because,
Now, think of this, right? I'm already getting vitamin D and zinc and magnesium or whatever
does you take, melatonin, whatever, all that stuff. I'm already buying it from someplace. Where am I
getting it from? What are the values of those companies? I have no idea. Nutrametics,
neutrametics.com, use the code Eric, they give 50% of all their profits, think of that, to missions
and to charities that most of us would be thrilled to know that they're getting.
giving 50% of their profits. They have a goal by the end of this century to put three men on the
moon. No, sorry, that's wrong. By the end of this century, 2030, they have a goal to give away
$100 million. These people are serious about giving away money to God's purposes. So nutrometics.com
use the code Eric. And I'm sure whatever it is that you take, they probably have it there.
Yeah.
Also should mention my pillow.com and my store.com.
There's going to be more and more available at my store.com.
Most of my books are available at my store.com.
And I just say to people, if you use the code Eric, some of the prices are really insane.
My Miracles book, Hardcover, it's like $10 or something, which it should be like 27.
The seven more, seven women book is really cheap.
I don't know what that, but I'm just saying like,
If possible, I want to pass on the savings to you.
And, you know, that way you don't have to buy from Amazon or whatever it is.
So I do want to mention my pillow.com and my store.com use the code.
Eric.
And also to support Mike Lindell.
The dude is he just takes a beating.
People come after him.
People are nasty to him.
Jimmy Kimmel was nasty.
But guess what?
Jimmy Kimmel is going to have him on the show.
Yeah, that's great.
That is terrific.
What do you think I would need to do to get Jimmy Kimmel to say, use the code, Eric?
Hey, Kimmel. Hey, Kimmel. Hey, yeah, you. Tell your people, your audience. It's a small audience, but I don't care. Use the code Eric. I'm afraid he's going to say use the code Jimmy after getting to like Michaelin. But he's going to say, you know what? I kind of like that guy. Yeah, he's very likable.
Yeah, and go to Frankspeech.com, too, folks, and sign up there as well.
Oh, please go to Frankspeech.com. And before we go, as I mentioned, I'm in California.
So I'm speaking at Signal Hill tomorrow.
You can find all this on my website,
ericmetaxis.com speaking schedule.
And I'm speaking up in Thousand Oaks.
I think I'm doing an event Friday night with Pastor Rob McCoy.
And I'm speaking, I think three sermons on Sunday.
How am I going to get through that?
Coffee, coffee, coffee, and more coffee.
Okay.
And one more things.
Let's go to SalemNow.com as well.
There's some great movies there.
Church people.
there's another one. America, America, God shed his grace on the. It's a really good one. I've been
watching it. It's very good. Homeschoolers have to see this one, too. It's about the-Salemnow.com.
Yeah. We're trying to help you people, all right? Come on. You got to help us help you. Help yourselves.
Thanks for listening.
