There's nothing more clever. That's it. Two comes after 1. We're talking. We continue a conversation with Pat Boone, who is a level of Hollywood legend that makes me blush.

Pat, you have just been at the top of your game for decade after decade. It's almost funny to me when I talked to you about everyone you knew, everyone, you've known everyone, and you're still writing books. We are today talking about your brand new book called If the Eternal Choice We Almost Make by Pat Boone. And again, to be clear, you wrote this book for people to give to someone who just hasn't really considered this question. They may be a nice person, but they're not taking this seriously, and you've made it very simple for them. And, of course, the title couldn't be more simpler. It's simply if.

Mm-hmm. Yeah, and people, they think, because obviously, and I don't mean this pejoratively, they are ignorant. They do simply do not know anything about the Bible. They don't know if there is a God. According to the latest polls, over half of America is not religious at all. and they don't think that they should be, or they wonder if they should be, but if they wonder at all, they don't know where to turn. Who's going to tell me whether there is a God, even though we tell them all the time that the Constitution of the United States is built on biblical

principles. There would be no America today as we know it if it hadn't been for the Bible. And our founders were very familiar with the Bible, all of them, and they wanted to create really what they were considering a modern Israel. They wanted to seek the favor of the Creator by creating a country in which people were free to worship him however they wanted. They didn't have to be subservient to the King of England and be members of the Church of England.

They could go to a Baptist church. Thomas Jefferson, we need to know this, this thing about separation of church and state, He used that phrase, which is not in our Constitution at all, but he used that phrase, there's a wall of separation between church and state, but he was referring to the government not in any way having anything to do with people's religion, a wall of separation. That amendment says, make no law respecting the establishment of religion. What does no mean? It means not any. make not any law respecting the subject doesn't come up.

The foundation or establishing religion doesn't. But to be clear, just in case anybody's not getting this, this means that the founders wanted to keep government away from having anything to do with your faith, your lack of faith, where you go to church, if you go to church. The government has no business bothering about that. And we are seeing precisely the opposite understanding of the separation of church and state and no establishment. We are establishing a secular, godless religion.

But it doesn't call itself a religion, but it is a religion. And it's vital for us to understand if you love America, that's the genius of the founders, is that they understood that for religion to be utterly free to keep the government the hell away from. Yeah, you know, it's kind of amazing to me that so many people that really misunderstand that concept. So thank you. It was founded on the assumption that the people of America of this new country wanted that kind of life. They wanted the freedom to worship or not worship in any way they wanted to live their own lives independently. And the government would protect that right.

And they could make their own in a majority way voting. they could decide what rules they wanted to live by. And that's how America, as De Tocqueville said, America is great because America is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great. The goodness came from the whole notion that God is good and whatever he wants us to do and the way he wants us to live is good and for our best interest.

And it worked. It worked for some almost 300 years. And now we're giving up. the same principles, and we're calling the principles of the Bible hate speech, and you cannot enforce that on anybody, and you can't make us live by those rules because those rules don't matter anymore. And we're paying the price. We're seeing our whole society crumble into something that was never intended by the founders and cannot last. In fact, the way we're headed is the very way that all the other great nations fell into non-entity, into disrepute and non-existence.

It's only as we cling to the rules that God instituted because he made it and he had the right to make the rules, and he knows how it all works. If we abandon those, then we have no hope. Now, are you familiar with the revival taking place across the country that's starting to do? Absolutely. And that is that God is our only hope and revival is our own. hope. If we do not turn back to God, there is no hope. And so I want to say, you know, folks, this is the ultimate question. And again, the book we're talking about, Pat Boone's new book, it's called If the Eternal Choice We All Must Make, if you know somebody that's troubled by what's

happening in the culture, but they don't know quite what to make of it or they just shake their head. Give them a copy of Pat Boone's book, If, because this is the central question. This is the question. If you determine to even ask the question and look into it, you'll find that there is astonishing evidence for God, which is in the book, If by Pat Boone, and that you'll begin to see there is hope, but the hope is in him, and it's up to each one of us individually to make that choice. It's not something we can leave to others. and I hope that this book will be the precursor that will lead them into reading your book is atheism dead and I don't mean that as a quid pro quo or anything because that book, as I called it earlier, is a masterpiece and you cannot call yourself a rational person

if they get really into your book and continue to deny the existence of God because it is absolutely nonsensical. It is idiotic to look at it. look at the evidence all around us that proves, as the Bible says, the heavens declare constantly the glory of God and the created things show his handiwork. So we are without excuse, the Bible says, because the evidence, we're walking around in the evidence, and we ourselves, ourselves are evidence of his existence. I mean, we've got to wake up. We've got to get out of being woke.

We've got to actually awake. Well, you know, it's funny because it wasn't until I was writing my book as Atheism Dead that I myself was bowled over by the evidence. I thought, this is nuts. I mean, the level of evidence from science has become open and shut. But what's interesting, Pat, is that that's been happening through the decades, but the media and many churches are utterly unaware. It's why I wrote my book as Atheism Dead. I said, we've got to get this information into the hands of people because when you understand, that science has done this kind of reversal that, you know, people thought, oh, science is pushing

away from God. Well, guess what, folks? The opposite has happened. Over the decades, the evidence for the fine-tuned universe and on and on and on. It's become so overwhelming that it's almost funny. And I said, people need to acquaint themselves with this because it will, I think it'll change your life. I mean, I really think that a lot of Christians are living timidly.

And I think when you see how dramatic the evidence is, it's kind of like, you know, saying like, well, is the Earth flat? Or is it a... Ladies and gentlemen, no. The evidence... If you're asking that question, you're a little bit behind the curve. Till 500 years ago, science thought the Earth was flat. I mean, it's not till Copernicus and a couple of others came along and proved that,

no, it's a big circle hanging in the sky, as the Bible clearly says, it is. Well, of course, the ancient Greeks knew that, but, you know, they were always advanced. And that's why I'm proud to be Greek. Pat, we're out of time, but we have to have you back to talk more about everything. But I want to tell people, ladies and gentlemen, the book is by Pat Boone. Folks, welcome back. I continue my conversation from the other day with our friend, Pastor Greg Locke.

He's at a church in Mount Juliet Nashville. He has gotten involved in the deliverance ministry. What does that mean? It means people are delivered from demons. Demons are cast out in Jesus' name. He's made a film called Come Out in Jesus' Name. Pretty simple. Come out in Jesus' name.

It opens in theaters Monday, March 13th. Come out in Jesus name.com. Pastor Greglock, welcome back. Thank you, my friend. Honor to be here. I've got to ask you, because a lot of people are wondering, how does this happen to people? Now, I know some of these answers,

but I want you because you've been living. this. How is it that people, something happens and they get, whatever term it is, they get demonized. Somehow, a demonic entity, a demon, an evil spirit gets into their lives and harasses them.

And some people hear voices. They don't know where to go, who to talk to about it. I'm sure a lot of pastors say, oh, you know, go to a psychiatrist, you need to get some meds for that. if it's a demon, meds cannot fix it. Right, absolutely. You can't counsel out a demon, right? You can't counsel out a demon.

You can't medicate a demon out. Number one, one of the biggest ways is, you know, other than a generational curse, because God plainly says if you're born into a family where there has been witchcraft, occultism, Satanism, idolatry, you know, deep levels of religion other than Christianity, he said, I'll visit the Iniquity of the Fathers until the third and fourth generation. That's 120 to 100 and 60. years. So there are people that are born with a generational curse because of oaths, for example, to secret societies, the Masonic Lodge, things like that. There are people that are born with such

as a spirit of rejection, a spirit of abandonment, because maybe the mom word curse that child, like, oh, my goodness, this is another mouth to feed. I can't believe I've got to carry this baby, you know, full term. I don't need another baby. And at that moment, don't think that that baby emotionally and mentally cannot, you know, receive that word curse. And that allows a legal contract, if you will, of an evil spirit to slip in, and babies can be born with a spirit of abandonment, a spirit of rejection. And their whole life, they wonder why every single relationship they have turns out to be a crap fest, because they always feel abandoned. They always feel rejected. Much times through molestation, abuse, people are opened up to shame and guilt.

The number one way that people open themselves up is a cult involvement, known or unknown. It doesn't make any difference. You mess with the Ouija board. When you're eight years old, you open yourself up to a whole plethora, to a whole Pandora's box of evil spirits, witchcraft, curses, people mess around with seances, addiction to horror movies, you know, celebrating Halloween. I mean, there's a lot of ways that people open themselves up to witchcraft. And so that's one of the commonest ways that people are open to evil spirits.

There's many of them. Sometimes people have this weird, emotional disconnection with what we do because they think, I don't want to go to a service where demons are cast out because it's going to hop out of somebody and hop into me. It doesn't work that way. You have to open yourself up. They have to have a legal contract. If you have unforgiveness, for example, in your heart towards somebody that abused you, somebody that abandoned you, an ex-husband, an ex-wife. What happens is when you harbor that unforgiveness, it allows a spirit eventually of unforgiveness and bitterness to come into your life

and to absolutely cause you to rotten the bones, the Bible says. And so there's a lot of ways that people can be tormented by evil spirits. The Bible says God's not giving us the spirit of fear. if you have a lot of fear-filled emotions, this whole COVID debacle, it shows us how many people can unbelievably be baptized in a spirit of fear and make you have these, you know, illogical decisions that you make and you can't even figure out why. The Bible talks about Isaiah 61 verse 4, a spirit of heaviness. Well, we would medicate that, put somebody on a couch and call it depression. Well, God caused anxiety, PTSD, depression, oppression, he calls it a spirit of heaviness. And so a spirit is a person without a body because we wrestle not. against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places.

And so if you will approach it as a person, you will fight it differently. Does that make sense? Yeah. And I want to be clear, too. It's like same thing when we're talking about healing or whatever. It's not always this, folks. But the point is, if you rule this out, okay, you're making a big mistake because in many, many cases, this is a piece of the puzzle.

And when you ignore this, you condemn that person never to be able to get healed. to be able to get freed from this affliction from this demonic thing. You mentioned Masonic lodges and Masonic curses. This is something when I first heard this, and again, my friend Ken Fish was telling me about this. I was like, you know, look, really, really, there is no doubt that the Masonic stuff, and again, because it's so widespread, a lot of people like me would poo-poo it because they think, well, come on. It's like, it's, it was just a thing.

You know, a lot of our founding fathers were involved in that. It doesn't change the fact, ladies and gentlemen, that this is real. And I can't think of the name of this is a specific curse. But the point is that people who have had experience in the Masonic lodges or whose father or grandfather who have had experience in that, there's a curse. And it manifests in certain ways. And I want to tell you, we have a friend who came to one of these Ken Fish conferences. and starts hearing about this and said, hey, wait a minute, my father or whatever was a, like high level in the Masonic stuff. We've got some memorabilia in our house.

And so they were instructed to like, okay, you need to destroy that memorabilia. You need to burn it and, you know, say this prayer and this and that. The next day, they did all this. The next day, the husband of this friend of my wife saw at the foot of their bed, the spirit of this grandfather. Now, this is like these are people, if you know these people, they're not making this stuff up. This is real. Absolutely.

This is real. And so I just want to say there are tons of people dealing with garbage in their lives. And one good guess where it came from, folks, is all of these, all of these possibilities. And so why wouldn't you want to get free from it if you could? I mean, in the film, and again, we're talking to Pastor Greg Locke, the film has come out in Jesus' name, you show a woman who had this kind of like bird demon, and she had a Puerto Rican background, and there's all kinds of Santaria and a lot of dark, occultic stuff. And in the film, you see, I mean, you did, you know, digitally obscure her face, but you see the whole thing. And I want to challenge people, when you see the film come out in Jesus' name, tell me. me, what do you think that is? She's making that up. There's a lot of that in the film.

So people think they are. Yeah. I mean, people think, oh, they're just faking this. There's no way, right? Even the husband's like, that is not my wife. And the interesting thing, Eric, is we bring people to our mass deliverance services for the purpose of skepticism and criticism. I have a lot of Baptist and Pentecostal preacher friends. They're like, I'm just going to come sit in one of these and see what happens. Well, what happens is we start breaking off these curses, these generational curses from the Masonic Lodge and other things like that, idolatry. and all of a sudden their wife flares up and starts screaming, writhing in the floor like a snake. And I mean their eyes are biggest Jimmy Dean sausage patties. And these Baptist pastors are like, I know this woman.

What do I do with this? And so we've had them come in, see it for themselves, get trained, go back, and tear their church all the pieces in a good way with the ministry of Jesus. Because you can't put it back in the box. You undeniably cannot put it back in the box. I'm telling you, when I had, I was telling you about, I was with my friend Ken Fish and we were in Athens, Greece, okay, because my dad's from Greece and we did a ministry trip there. And we were in a church. And a lot of it was healing.

People are experiencing healings. But one woman starts to, quote, unquote, manifest demonic stuff. And you hear the shrieking and stuff, whatever. So I go over there and I get involved in this. and it is so clear what is going on when you see this with your own eyes. So you're talking about these Baptist pastors, seeing their wives. And what was funny is my cousin was there, and my cousin's not a believer, but we needed someone to translate into Greek. So I said, Yangos, come here.

And my cousin was sitting right there watching this. And I thought to myself, ladies and gentlemen, you know, when you see it with your own eyes, what do you think is going on? There's an invisible reality, and the Bible is super clear about what it is and how we're supposed to deal with it, and a lot of people just want to ignore it. And again, we're talking about Christians ignoring.

It's one thing for the world to ignore it and kind of like wrap it into some weird new age, you know, whatever. But people who claim to be Christians, I'm actually shocked that you'd say they're Pentecostals that would deny this stuff. That doesn't make any sense to me. It makes absolutely no sense. You know, it's interesting.

We had a lady come to one of our services, maybe about six months ago, and she spoke straight up Portuguese, and I speak nothing but hillbilly, right? And so there's no way we could even greet each other. But a family brought her, she sat there. She's more than halfway through the presentation. You know, we've done the renunciations, the forgiveness, the repentance, all of that. And she didn't understand a word I was saying. I got to the spirit of Pharmakia.

And I said, Spirit of Pharmakia, you will come out in the name of Jesus. She jumped up, began to scream, fell to the floor, going between the chairs. Unbelievable. You see, she didn't understand a word I said, but that demon understood that there's power in the name of Jesus. Even a deaf spirit can hear Jesus. But that's what's so funny is like, that's how you know there's a reality here. This woman didn't understand English. But the demon did understand English.

I'm talking to my friend Pastor Greg Locke. He is the founding and lead pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, right outside Nashville, author of a number of books. You know, Greg, what I always say to my buddy Ken Fish is like part of the frustration is there is so

much of this and so few who are trained in dealing with it, which is why I'm glad you're doing this every single week in your church, because there are so many people suffering from this. And I really believe this is an end-time move of God that we're going to see people coming to faith as a result of this kind of ministry. Oh, absolutely. You and I both, you know, we share a love for revival history, right? And so it's not that God didn't do amazing things in the past. But if you look at every single revival in the past, you look at the Welsh revival, Azusa Street, Brownsville, First and Second Great Awakening, the Hebrides Revival, you know, Jeremiah Calvin Lambfebber's revival.

All of them had a limitation because when deliverance started to break out, it was shut down. It's exactly what happened with the Jesus Revolution, with the whole Time magazine thing. Whenever deliverance got to a place where it started making people uncomfortable, it was shut down. And I think that we are right now in the prophetic fillment of the book of Joel. In the last days, God will provide a spirit upon all flesh. Well, what does that look like in the last days? Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered. And people are like, well, you know, deliverance ministry is not in the Bible.

In the model prayer, Jesus said, deliver us from evil. And so it's all over the Bible. There are 286 verses in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, where Jesus converses with and casts out demons. It's a third of his ministry. And then the disciples and then the 70, and then you and I, Mark, Mark, 16, Paul, Stephen, Philip, it's all in the Bible. And in the last days, Timothy says, that the church itself, people of faith, will give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. And so spiritual warfare is going to accentuate. And so the ignorance of spiritual warfare cannot

keep growing. We have got to take away the ignorance and the scariness and get people in the word of God and say, this is the number one ministry of Jesus, it should be a number one emphasis in the church. Because it's interesting that even charismatic churches, they want to talk all about tongues and they want to talk all about healing. Well, in the gifts, guess what? That's second and fifth. The first one is, in my name, they shall cast out demons. And the reason a lot of people don't get healing is because they don't need healing. They need deliverance from a spirit of infirmity. And if they get a deliverance from a spirit of infirmity, they will be healed. It's unbelievable. I, I want to, just because we have a few minutes, I want to go a little bit about your story.

You had a wild youth. You were in prison as a kid. I mean, you know, you're a firebrand now and Jesus is all over you. But what were you like? In other words, what is your story? How did you get to be where you are today? My parents split up when I was about four. My dad was in prison here in the Tennessee State Penitentiary for the first, you know, 10 or 11 years of my life.

And so I began to follow that trajectory. my brother was always, you know, first class, straight A's. I wasn't. I was arrested six times on probation five times by the time I was 16. I was sent to a children's home in state's custody, a boys, an orphanage. And I lived there for four years. I was required to live there for a year. But once I was saved and called to preach, I knew I couldn't come back to Mount Juliet.

I'm back in my hometown, right? Prophet, not without honor, but in his hometown. And so I stayed there four years, and then I went off to Bible College. But it was very tumultuous. But my grandmother, as the movie states, always said, you're going to be a preacher, you're going to be a preacher. and I thought that is utter nonsense. And here I am, you know, 30 years later, I've been preaching at least for 30 years. And God's done it.

And so I had a very, very bumpy road. And so our church is a place where broken people find new meaning to life because we have become the church that takes all the people, all the other churches don't want. And when they show up to us, we automatically tell what they're struggling with and we see them set free. I mean, what amazes me is that I believe we are absolutely seeing. the beginnings of revival in America right now. There are things happening, whether we're thinking about my friend Sean Foyt or Mario

Marillo or there's things going on. And let's be honest, the media is not reporting on this. I'm amazed they wrote anything about what's going on in Asbury. But they're not reporting on the fact that this is going on. I mean, there's some reporting, but basically you can live in this country and just have no clue that every single week, all of this stuff is going on, people are being delivered from demonic entities. Most people don't have a category for that. They don't want it. That's just unpleasant. And to me, it really is a sign that we're in the end times. It's a good sign. It's a beautiful thing.

Yes. Because you think things have to get very bad before people are desperate enough to turn to God. And I think that's what's happening right now. I think with COVID, it just drove so many people to the edge of lunacy. You're looking around what is happening. And God will use that to draw people to himself. But this kind of thing is happening around the country. And this is just one example, one major example, obviously. But I'm just so glad you made a film about it because, again, just out of pure compassion,

You mentioned these two New York pastors, Alexander Pagani and Mike Signorelli in the New York area. Are they going to be at any of the screenings in the New York area? Do you know? I would assume so. They are.

I think their churches have bought out a number of seats, a good number of them. And they'll be here this weekend. The whole cast will be here this weekend for the premiere as well. Well, if I'm in the New York area on March 13th, I'd travel, so I don't know. But if I am, I would want to find out where they're going to be doing that. But so this is all over the country in 2000 theaters. I still can't believe it. That's an amazing amount of theaters.

I don't know how you pull that off. It's unbelievable. Yeah, I don't know how the Lord did that, but it was all the Lord. They absolutely just loved it.
