No. You actually brought your wife. Actually, Suzanne was there, but I still don't want her to know. Well, you know what I'm saying? She, she's, she sniffes. She sniffs things like that out. She's not. Especially since she was with me the whole time.

Man, I hate that. I can't hide anything. It's called referencing reality. No, we were at this private Christian event. That's all we can say. We had to sign an idea. It was so private. I can't say it on the air that it was private.

I just said it, but you know what? They'll edit that out. We were at this private event, and there were so many people there, and I got a lot of time talking to Jim Kavisel, who I believe played Jesus in the honeymooners with Jackie Gleason. Yeah, he had that catchphrase, right? I want to talk about Jim Caviesel in a minute. I spent a lot of time with General Doug. Sorry, Doug.

Spent a lot of time with General Douglas MacArthur. With the ghost of General MacArthur. No, I spent a lot of time with General Mike Flynn. I want to talk about that. And I said, I don't know if you know some of these people, Jack Hibbs. And she's like, oh, I know Jack Hibbs. That's how big he is. My wife knows who he is. Even Tiffany, who, you know, she'd never heard of Abraham Lincoln. Yeah. She's a little younger than you are. She wouldn't recognize herself on the side of the milk carton.

Oh, that's terrible. It's true. She doesn't recognize people. Tiffany is so amazing that we can joke about her openly on the air. Yes. All right. And your marriage is so strong, I pray. It's like Super Blue.

I'm like the guy hanging from the helmet on her. underneath the iron murder. Well, we've known each other and each other's wives for what, over 20 years now. It's a long time. Over 20 years. Okay. So I think I mentioned a couple things I want to mention. Well, there's more news. I got to mention this. I did mention part of this the other day. I posted on Instagram, I saw something that I thought was clever and apropos. It was a picture of Trump. And on the right side, there was a picture of Jesus and the crucifixion. And it said, I can vote for a convictive. felon because I worship, you know, a convicted criminal or something like that, right? So I was making

the point that I worship Jesus. I worship him and he's God and he was a quote unquote convicted criminal. And so, yeah, I was the victim of a kangaroo court trial. So I think maybe I could vote for somebody who's a convicted felon, right? Okay. So Phil Visher, who, you know, he created Veggie Tales, whatever. And we used to be friends, I guess, but he has gone to very left and very despises Trump and despises. So he posts my, I didn't retweet this, but I put it on my Instagram story, right? And he puts it up there like it's something horrible. Like, oh, look, Christian nationalist, fascist, Trump worshiper, Eric Mataxis is equating the crucifixion with Donald Trump or something like this. And I looked at it and I thought, what's the problem? Like, just read it.

I worship Jesus so I could vote for Trump, right? But anyway, he puts this out there. There's now an article, it's Premier Christianity, which is another left-wing woke lunatic pseudo-Christian website, saying that I compare Donald Trump's conviction to the crucifixion. Okay, now, here's the problem. That's not true. And when people are lying and twisting and whatever to demonize their opponents, whether it is I or Donald Trump, that's not a good look for you, folks.

If you don't like something, make your point, but you don't have to lie and twist. I thought I have to mention that because the attacks between now and the election, they're probably going to get worse. But this one, somebody just flat out lies into it. It's happened to me before where I'll say something and they'll twist it. And nobody seems to care that, hey, wait a minute, he didn't really say that. And the good news is on your side, in your corner, you have 50 intelligence professionals who have signed an affidavit that what you said wasn't, in fact, what Phil Fisher thought it was. That's too much. That's too much.

That's too meta. That's too meta. Yeah. But, I mean, it's the same thing where they say, I cold-cocked a Trump protester. I like, people say this stuff and it's like it gets out there and you think, wait a minute, that's really not right. Why are you saying that? Are you aware of the details? and they don't care.

They just think, no, you're bad, so we're just going to pile on. So anyway, I had to say that. In the good news department, we were just contacted by RFK Jr., who I believe will be doing a Socrates and the city event. This is big news. Well, we're not sure, but I believe that it's June 26th here in New York City. Oh, wow. So folks, hold on to your hat because, now this would be one of those rare events.

One of these rare Socrates events. Well, no, but I'm saying we're, I would actually ask tough questions. Normally, Socrates and City, I just don't do that. But with him, as much as I admire him, I admire him a lot. But he said a lot of things that I very strongly disagree with. But I respect him, and I would look forward to that conversation. So June 26, Socrates and City, we don't know yet, but I just throw it out there because it will be very limited.

Now, we've had General Flynn on the program before, but General Flynn, I spent a lot of

time talking to him. And it's very encouraging when you talk to him because he's been through hell. We will have him on this program to promote the film that was out. But you know it's true. So you're not interested in hearing that it's not true. Like you're so sure. So that's, that's kind of where we are. Yeah, living in the days of deception by Harvest House publishers, we have been shocked. Eric, since February 6th in its launch, it has just kind of gone crazy. And so, yeah, I think the resonance with people is the fact that on the cover, you know, people say don't judge a book by its cover, but we actually do. When it says D-A-Z-E, living in the days of deception, We're seeing believers and non-believers by this book because they feel dazed, and so they should. I mean, the world's got nuts. You talk about it every day. And so, yeah, we try to address some of the key things that are going on. And God has been blessing it. Thank you.

Well, okay, so the book is Days, D-A-Z-E of Deception. So it seems obvious to me. I say in my new book, Religinalist Christianity, I talk about, are we living in the end times? And the short answer is, definitely we are. The only question is the details of where are we? But there are signs that, you know, Jack, seriously, like, I didn't know if I'd ever see this in my lifetime. So to see it, it's pretty clear on a number of levels that we're living in the last days. The only question is, what should we do about it and where are we in the last days?

So roughly speaking, what should we do about it? And where are we in the last days? Yeah, Eric, the first thing is we need to just take a deep breath and relax that the Bible itself says Jesus said it. John said it. First John said it, that we're in the last day. So people think, oh, you guys are a bunch of panic, crazy people mentioning the words last days. Well, it's mentioned in the Bible that we are in the last days. And in other words, since the advent of Christ, the clock started ticking that those, these now are the last days. But we're further down the calendar, Eric, in the last days. And so what are, are some of the indicators? I'm going to steal this from Dr. Ed Heinzen, who's now with Jesus, tremendous scholar, who said, God did not give us Bible prophecy to scare us, but to prepare us. Jesus said, I've told you these things in advance that when they come to pass, you will know that I am he. So prophecy should comfort us. And so when we look around, what do we see? We see a time where America is waning. We see a time where there's just destabilization of law and

order globally. And people will normally say, Eric, well, this has always gone on. Yes, true. Never on a scale like this. But you know well, much better than I do, Eric, the fact that one of the last manifestations of a culture before it's destroyed is sexual aberrance. It happened to the Persians. It happened to the Babylonians, to the Greeks, to the Romans. And it's not just happening to America. We're looking at a global destabilization of morality, which much of the Bible addresses, as regarding last day's events. Jesus said, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man.

So there's road signs. And we don't want to be sensationalist, but we do want to read the road signs. If I'm 100 miles from L.A., and then I'm 50 miles from L.A., and then the next sign says 25 miles, I know I'm getting close to L.A. And that's what we see in the world around us.

Well, I want to ask you, you know, when we say we're living in the last days, I want to be clear. I mean, I know this scripture says we're living in the last days, but, you know, we are seeing things now that you would not have seen a thousand years ago, 100 years ago, the creation of national Israel in 1948. That is a major sign.

It didn't happen for 2,000 years, then it happened, boom. That's a sign. There are signs like that. What's happening now, the ability to, and again, I talk about this in my book, the ability for us to have a global, economy, the idea that there could be globalist world leaders at the World Economic Forum talking about, you know, one currency for the world, digital currency for the world. I mean,

there are things that never, never in the history of the world have we been able to do since basically the Tower of Babel, like we've never been able to come together to rage against God until now. So that to me is another sign. So, What do you see? In other words, what are the things that you see that would lead you to believe that were very close? Yeah, one of the things is found in the book of Daniel, when Daniel says, God is speaking to Daniel, and he says, Daniel, seal up the book of your prophecy, for it is for the last days. And then it enumerates some of those things, Eric, I would just bring up one of them. It says that man, in the King James, it says, man will travel to and fro and knowledge shall increase. That's great for King James era.

What it means is man will have exponential growth of knowledge and man will move at a great pace. And so we're looking at knowledge increasing. What are they telling us now that our known knowledge at hand doubles every 16 to 18 months? And so we're looking at a time where I think this is very fascinating, Eric, so to speak, I'm just generalizing right now. Man has generally rejected God. So man is searching. What does man do? Man creates AI. That's not a bad thing exactly, but isn't interesting that AI has taken on a face, has taken on a humanoid type of look. And then man looks to AI and says, oh, tell me where to go, what to do. And tell me, by the way, how to place my bets and how to invest. And it's almost as though, Eric, Daniel is saying, oh, my gosh, I talked about this where man is a God in his own image that's just a little bit quicker on things.

I mean, technically, AI is not exactly smarter. We've got to feed it. But it processes everything faster. And so people are leaning on AI for strange sexual things to launching rockets to bank accounts. To look, I'm preaching the gospel now around the world in Spanish through AI. And it's actually moving my lips as though I speak Spanish. That's great. And it's also kind of spooky.

So that's one thing, and we could go on all day about some of the manifestations. You mentioned globalism. Nobody wants borders anymore. Wow, really? Yeah. Well, the Bible talks about, you said it like the days of Babel, it would come again. Well, the idea of not wanting borders, again, you have to be really ignorant. In other words, if you don't appreciate what America is, then you would be dumb enough to say, why do we need borders?

Anybody can come in, but you really have no concept of what a nation is, why nations exist, or any concept of what a glorious gift from God, the United States of America, has been. And if you don't understand that, then you're a sitting duck for satanic ideas like globalism. Like, let's just open it up. And now who's going to rule if we have one world government? If we don't have the ability to elect the president of the United States to be our, elected leader who is under our authority, we the people choose our leaders. If we don't have that ability, who will lead us? It's not going to be somebody who thinks the way George Washington or

a Truman or Lincoln or a Reagan. It's not going to be somebody like that. It's going to be somebody who thinks like the leader of China, somebody who does not believe in God, who does not believe in the principles that flow from a biblical worldview as most of our presidents have done. And we're not going to have that. But so if you don't appreciate what we have, you would say, well, what's wrong with the idea of one world government? Then we'll have no wars, right? No, you'll all be enslaved. It's kind of like saying, I don't want crime.

Why do you move to North Korea? There's no crime in North Korea. Go there tomorrow and you can have no crime. Is that what you want? You'll be enslaved. That's where we are. Man, that is so true. And, you know, think about it right now. Globally,

is there a global leader? Is there a Churchill? Is there a Reagan? On the world scene right now, who's out there, but maybe, you know, these blips on the radar like Xi Jinping or Putin, who's out there regarding the most remote hint of freedom in liberty? Well, the only one that's out there is currently fighting for his freedom and for his life, and that's Donald Trump. If Trump were to be elected again, he would be such an anomaly in this world right now because the world is saying, well, you know what, exactly what Eric just said, you know, just give it up. And people don't value their freedoms. Eric, you and I grew up in an era where we valued our freedoms from the moment that we realized that we could ride our Schwinn bicycle down the street or go to the beach. It was freedom and liberty. We've known this. But with that comes responsibility. Today, people don't want responsibility.

Oh, you go ahead and lead. Tell me how to, where do you want me to vote? You tell me what to do. I don't want to do anything. Just keep me in my little box, feed me some cheese, and give me some vodka. I'll be fine. And that is not the human spirit. That is gutting out of us what God created us to be.

It's socialism, communism. And then you've got this maniac, right? He's crazy maniac. How dare he? Trump, talk about individual. responsibilities and freedoms and that America can be great again. That is true if America turns to God. But listen, Eric, you and I know, America as a whole doesn't have to turn to God. Eric and Jack and the Christian community in America needs to turn to God. His new book is Days, D-A-Z-E of Deception. Jack, you were just making a big, important point. I want to go back to write what you were saying, because we are, I mean, anybody with eyes to see understands we're living through sheer madness. Anybody thinks, oh, you know, the pendulum swings back, baloney folks. You know, that's like saying, oh, the pendulum swings.

Have you heard of the Holocaust? Is that the pendulum swinging? There's a time when satanic evil takes over. And if you're not aware of it, you're part of allowing it to take over. And we're living in a time like that right now. And Jack, you've been one of the brave voices, counseling Christians to step up and fight. Be the church. Live out your faith. Vote for people who are going to stand against the evil. They're not going to be perfect people. Guess what? They never will be. But you need to vote for them. And if you don't, if you don't, you sit back and you let stuff happen, you're part of the problem. I mean, that's what

I'm talking about, but it's what you've been talking about for longer than I have. So what you were just saying, continue, if you don't mind. Yeah, the bottom line is this, we've been conditioned to think lazy, to think small, to be led by others. The problem is those that are being led, are

being led by those who have completely sold themselves out to an agenda. Eric, I actually believe that even in politics, There's doctrines of demons and deceiving spirits. That's why you've got this abortion stuff. That's why you got this restructuring of what is government. When we get away from a biblical worldview,

then we're suckers to follow anything and every promise. What has got to happen in American? It's not that big of the deal if we think about it. If God said, if my people who are called by my name, if we just repent, seek his face, get back to him. Gavin Newsom here in California doesn't have to repent and seek God. I'm supposed to do that. There is a remarkable thing that we hold as Americans.

Our history's not in the Bible. Our future's not in the Bible. America's not found in the Bible, which gives us great hope. If the greatest nation on the face of the earth with the greatest economy and the greatest freedom and the greatest power is not specifically mentioned, then we could have yet, again, another revival. It is possible. But here's the bottom line. When will pastors finally knock it off, stop goofing off,

and realize that they can actually chew gum and walk at the same time in this sense. They can preach the gospel and tell their people to go vote for pro-life candidates. They can expository every book of the Bible, but at the same time, have voter registration. Tell people the issues. And listen, I'm a big fan of endorsing good candidates. They may not be Christians. I endorse a pro-life candidate. Well, what if there's nobody running that's pro-life?

life. Somebody's running that whole something that's closer to a biblical worldview than the other guy. Can't a pastor tell us flock, vote for this individual, like you said it, Eric, they're not perfect, but they're heading in the right direction. It's time for us to grow up. Read our founding fathers, read all about the colonial era, the pastors and the preachers like Jonathan Edwards, they saw no problem with preaching righteousness and then going to vote. No, look, it's so, it's so wicked. And again, this is, I've been talking about this ad infinitum, it is so wicked when people say like, oh, no, I'm not about America.

I'm about the kingdom. That's like saying, no, no, no, I don't love my wife. I love Jesus. Are you an idiot? If you love Jesus, you will love your wife. God calls you to do both. God calls us out of worshiping the Lord Jesus to do all these other things. So when pastors or Christians are saying like, no, no, no, we just do this.

It's just a dodge. Jack, you know and I know it is a dodge. They don't want to be unpopular. They don't want any trouble. And, you know, shame on them because the Lord has called us the trouble. We're supposed to bring him into the midst of trouble and we're supposed to bring beautiful things out of it. And so I have no idea where they're coming from except that they're either just foolish. they don't understand the scripture.

But what you were just saying, this idea that we're going to be, we can chew gum and walk at the same time. I mean, can you imagine, we're supposed to preach the gospel? We're supposed to make disciples of all nations. That's not the same as preaching the gospel. If somebody gets saved, they've heard the gospel.

Now we need to disciple them. We need to tell them how does that translate into how you vote, when you vote, whether you vote, what you do in your community, how you raise your family, all that stuff follows. there are people that pretend, and again, we know most of them are, they're kidding. They pretend as though, no, no, no, I could just preach the gospel. I just do church.

We just, you know, we just preach the gospel in church. I mean, it is, it's maddening and horrifying because they are, they have opened the door to all the evils we're seeing right now in America. Well, Eric, you know, this, I'm so glad you brought this up because when you look at the closing chapters of the Book of Revelation and you see those who are in hell, guess what? The rapist is not at the top of the list. The whoremonger or the murder is not at the top of the list. The top of the list of those that are in hell are the cowards. It says cowards. And so whenever you hear a pastor say, I just preach the gospel, man, well, you need to repent. Because if that's all you preach and you don't make disciples, thank you, Eric, for saying that. Jeremiah 29, verse 7 says that you and I are to seek the welfare of the city where God has placed us in, that that city might live at peace and that we might live at peace in that city. When it says seek the peace of that city, that is an act of seeking. It means that you to engage yourself in the affairs of that city to make sure. sure that it goes in the right direction. And the 21st century church in America has divorced itself from that because...
