Starting point is 00:00:09 Welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show. It's a nutritious smoothie of creamy, fresh yogurt, vanilla, protein powder, and a mushy banana. For your mind, drink it all down. It's nummy. I wub, vanilla. I wub, I wap, I wap, I wap, vanilla. Here comes Eric Metaxus. Folks, welcome on the program.
Starting point is 00:00:33 It's November 26th, which I believe today is a Tuesday. And the most important thing I can mention is that today is my little brother's birthday. I had to say that. Yesterday, I called up my Tanta Eleanor, wished her a happy birthday. This morning I called up my brother Johnny, wished him a happy birthday. I love my brother. He's my only sibling. And I just, I love him so much.
Starting point is 00:00:55 And what a blessing to love your sibling and to love your parents, to love your wife and your kids. What a blessing. What, I mean, as thanks. Thanksgiving coming up, I am filled with gratitude to God for so many things. Okay, I got a couple of, well, one very important thing. Very, very, very important. The Bonhofer film. Before I get into that, let me mention coming up in a few moments, I'm talking to my old
Starting point is 00:01:27 friend Jim Cuncelor. He is one of my absolute favorites. So that's coming up in the next segment. He's just, there's nobody like Jim Cuncelor. I've known him literally. This is insane. I have known him since 1986. That's not possible.
Starting point is 00:01:48 No, no, 1985, the fall of 85, I met Jim Cuncelor. So I've known him all these years. I'm going to be talking to him. He has got his finger on the pulse of what's going around in the country. So that's hour one. Hour two, my dear friend Larry Taunton is my guest. He's been traveling in like south of the border with caravans. So a lot of cool stuff coming up today.
Starting point is 00:02:15 But so to the Bonhofer thing, I want to, I don't know if I've made it super clear. The Bonhofer film is a great mainstream film. And everyone who sees it, maybe not everyone, but like 98% of the people who see it, brave about it, and say, oh, it was so amazing. I was crying at the end. It was so powerful. It was so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:02:46 I did it on Twitter, on X, I posted a thing. Have you seen the film? What do you think? I actually almost couldn't believe like 250 comments, 98% of which were super positive. Like, that's amazing. And so the word of mouth on this film is going to be huge. But we have a few days to get people into the theaters to see it. Because it already came out.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Its opening weekend was a lame $5 million. The film cost $29 million to make. And a $5 million opening weekend, that's because Gladiator 2 is in the the theaters, Wicked is in the theaters, people are going to see that. So I am saying as adamantly as I can, if you can get word out about the film to anybody you know, not just people that are on the same pages as you politically and theologically, but anybody. This is a great film. This is the time to see it. It's a time for such, it's a film for such a time as this. It speaks to where we are. Even variety, you know, this, this mainstream.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Hollywood publication said that, that it speaks to where we are today. I think they've got a different view of what that means. I just topped over on Rotten Tomatoes, which is kind of the watermark for popular sentiment on films, you know, the Rotten Tomatoes score. And the film has a popcorn meter score of 92 percent, which is really incredible. I mean, that's super high. That's super high. But this is why I want to say to people, now, folks, really.
Starting point is 00:04:30 I mean this, this film goes away. Theaters do not, they don't care about what you care about. If it doesn't perform well enough, they're like, next, they're going to put Gladiator in two theaters, or they'll put Wicked in three theaters. You need to support the film now. If you say, I'll see it.
Starting point is 00:04:53 I was just going to say in comparison, it only has an 84% rating for the popcorn meter. the only one higher is Wicked does have a slightly higher one, but 92% is extraordinary. I mean, that really is, this is the point is that this is a mainstream film. But most mainstream people, they're going to go see Wicked,
Starting point is 00:05:12 they're going to go see Gladiator. They're like Bonhoffer, who, what? So I am, I'm begging you, my radio audience, please, if you haven't seen it, see it in the next couple of days. Please, please buy tickets for your friends. and relatives to go see it. You can get a discount, discount tickets and find out where it is
Starting point is 00:05:35 by going to angel.com. Or if you want the discount tickets, you go to angel.com slash Eric. But I am asking you to post about it on social media, please. If you follow me on X, you can just retweet my tweets about it. But I am asking my audience
Starting point is 00:05:55 to do what you can because I've talked about it. The pro-Hamas liberal lunatics have tried to kill this film, and they've done a pretty good job. So I'll say it again, most people who see this film love it. That includes liberals, people who didn't vote, people who voted for Kamala. Like when you see the film, you realize this is not some right-wing maga film. This is a great film about a real hero named Dietrich Bonhofer. It's an accurate film.
Starting point is 00:06:27 They're little nits of things that they shifted in the film about from what really happened, but so small that I, who wrote this big biography, have no problem with that. Like, that's amazing right there. It's a true story. It's an inspiring story. It points to God. And if we don't make it big at the box office in the next few days, most of the 1900 theaters that are carrying it right now in the next few days, they're not going to carry it a week later.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So this is an opportunity. I always talk about it on this program. and now's your chance to help me, this is an opportunity to shift culture. This is an opportunity to shift the culture in the United States of America. That's a big deal, folks. A mainstream film that points to God, a mainstream film that is for everybody, and it points without any question to God, to the God of the Bible, to what it means to be a real hero or real Christian.
Starting point is 00:07:27 It's an inspiring film. People are weeping at the end of it because it's just beautiful. But this is an APB to anybody who's listening right now. And part of the reason I'm begging you to help folks is because I am shocked at people, relatives of mine who are like, oh, is it out? They don't even know. People don't know. We've got to get the word out because once people see it, they're going to get the word out.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Once people see it, they're going to say, oh, that was great. I've got to tell my neighbor. I got, you know, maybe I'll see it again with so and so. So I really don't think, I mean, put yourself in my shoes. Like, I've waited 12 years for this moment. I knew they were making this film. I didn't know it would be a great film. I didn't know it would point to God in the way that it does.
Starting point is 00:08:14 I didn't know that it would be in 1900 theaters. So for it to die on the vine would be like a real tragedy. And this is it. It's do or die. the next couple of days this weekend, Friday, Saturday, this is it. You'll be with family, buy tickets, bring people to see. Whatever you can do, this is it. A week from now, it'll be too late.
Starting point is 00:08:42 So I don't know, I simply couldn't be more, I'm as emphatic as I can be that this film needs everybody. to help it. I'm saying, please, folks, this is an opportunity for the culture. To get a film like this into the mainstream, there's simply never been anything like it. This is not one of those Christian films. Oh, it's a good film. No, this is a film that you can bring non-Christians. You can bring anybody who likes a good film, anybody who cares about the deeper questions of life, or maybe somebody who doesn't, who can be provoked to think about the big questions by seeing this film. You know, it's like bringing somebody to Socrates in the city event.
Starting point is 00:09:25 except there's popcorn. It is really vital. So I cannot stress it enough. I won't say it again, you know, in my conversation with Jim Kunstler or Larry Taunton, maybe I'll say it at the end of the program. But I'm asking you as emphatically as I can to do what you can to help this film in the next couple of days. You can get discounted tickets at angel.com slash Eric, angel.com slash Eric. Folks, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:12:17 As I warned you, we would have a guest of high quality on. I warned, I told you. His name is James Howard Cuncelor. You can call him Jim. Jim Cuncelor, welcome to the program. You write so much wonderful stuff. You're writing. I want to say this to my audience.
Starting point is 00:12:34 It's your writing, not just your ideas. You're such a great writer. I have known you for 10,000 years. You were a great writer when I met you. So reading your stuff is very entertaining. And is your website finally up? Is that getting fixed? Well, we moved it on to Substack after a long and arduous struggle. But, you know, about three weeks ago, I found and put up a copy of the Johnny Appleseed video that you hired me to write the script for.
Starting point is 00:13:06 And I uncovered it on YouTube and put it up. It came out almost 40 years ago. Hard to believe, isn't it? It's insane. It's amazing. I mean, it's absolutely insane. The audience was really crazy about it. And you produced this wonderful series of American folklore videos for kids
Starting point is 00:13:27 for a company called Rabbit Ears Production. Yeah. The material is still out there. The content was sold and resold many times to many other companies. but it's still out there and it's still real good. And you... Well, let me sum it up for people. A million years ago,
Starting point is 00:13:47 I was the editorial director of Rabbit Ears Productions, and we produced spectacular videos for kids, but really for anybody. They're just very, very high quality. The illustrations are gorgeous. And we got the biggest names in Hollywood to do the narration. So who did Johnny Appleseed?
Starting point is 00:14:07 Well, not only the narration, but the music, too, which was spectacular. The narration was done by Garrison Keeler. Oh, wow. Yeah, and we remember him. And the music was done by the great Mark O'Connor, who went on to become, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:23 not just the greatest fiddler in America, but really a major figure in American music. Well, we got, I mean, I can't even, I don't even know where to start. Merrill Streep, Jack Nicholson, Robin Williams, Jody Foster, Danny Glover, I could go on and on. Morgan Freeman, anybody you can think of almost. We got them to narrate these videos.
Starting point is 00:14:49 You can get them as children's books. So I wrote a ton of them. I was the writer. And then I was able to hire writers of uncommon talent like Jim Cuncelor. And you did, you also did the Davy Crockett one, which is brilliantly written, hilarious, brilliant talk. Yeah, Nick Cage, I think. did the narration.
Starting point is 00:15:10 That's right. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, that was quite a thing. And for me, it really got me out of a certain phase of the poverty of being a starving bohemian at the time. Well, I was, I was, you know, always glad to help friends. And I thought, man, you're so talented. So you were, you were perfect for this.
Starting point is 00:15:29 So, yeah, people can look at up, rabbit ears, videos and the books. I did. I remember I did, there was, there was Bible stories. there was American tall tales and legends. There was international folk tales. So I did all of that stuff. I did one, David and Goliath, which is some of my finest writing. Nobody will ever know because people know about it.
Starting point is 00:15:51 But we got Mel Gibson to do the reading. He did an amazing narration job on that. It was just amazing. So it's David and Goliath. Anyway, on and on. Great, really great stuff that you and I, I had the privilege of doing, they won a lot of Grammy awards for best children's recording. I got an award for screenwriting from the Humanitas Society.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I remember one of the ones that I did, I did an adaptation of the Emperor's New Clothes, which we got John Gilgood to be the reader on. So I had the privilege of listening to Sir John Gilgud read my version of the Emperor's New Clothes, just a lot of great stuff. Pekos, Bill, great, great. I wouldn't have brought that up. So thank you for reminding me. Yeah, I recycled it. I put it up for my reading audience, and they were really struck by it. So good work. Yeah, I know, very high quality stuff. And again, the musical scores, I mean, gosh, tremendous, tremendous. Big names and great stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Rikkudor did some of them, I think. Who's that? I think Rikudor did one. Oh, yeah. Rikuder did the Pekos. Bill one. There you go. Which my buddy Tim Raglan, um, was the illustrator on that one. And Robin Williams is the narrator. This is the Pekos Bill one. Now, Tim Raglan is the one. He and I have done tons of children's books.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I mean, my best children's books probably done with Tim Raglan. He's the illustrator on Uncle Mugsy, Yankee Doodle Mugsy, the birthday ABC, all of the Donald, the Caveman books. So, yeah, it's so rare, Jim, I ever get to, to even remember this period of my life. much less talk about us. So thank you for reminding me. And it's weird in a way because it helps us remind, it helps remind us a little bit about a period of history when we remembered our history. And now we seem to be lost in some wilderness of memory where we don't even know who we are anymore as a people.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Although it looks like we are actually struggling back to recovering from that. And I think so. Looking back on the last several years, it's really been quite an ordeal. You know, it's like the country lost its mind and is now beginning to sort of spiral up from the depths out of that into some recognition of, you know, what the world actually is and where our place in it is. Well said. They say you're not much with words, but I think based on your writing and when you talk, that's just not. not true. It's simply not true. Well, so let's talk about some current events right now. You read, you wrote something that I read this morning about, you know, the imminence of World War III,
Starting point is 00:18:47 which you and I, growing up, World War III was a metaphor for the end of the world. Now, it may be an actual thing. Yeah. You can tell from reading around the web, you can't tell this from reading the mainstream media because they're not even reporting it. but, you know, we're playing footsy with Russia now in a way that is unbelievably dangerous. And daring, you know, Mr. Putin has come out and pretty much said, if you lob any more missiles into Russia, we're going to start blowing things up on your side. And he probably means it. And, you know, it's hard to exactly imagine where he would start.
Starting point is 00:19:34 But I imagine he'll begin by looking for exactly the place where our attack of missiles are coming from and blow them up. And the rumor is that they're in Poland, that the command center for all that activities in Poland. Of course, listeners probably understand that our attack of missiles rely on very complex satellite targeting that can only be done by the, by, to people on our side and the U.S. and NATO. And the Ukrainians can't do that on their own. And the Russians have had enough of us crossing their red lines. And Mr. Budens made it very clear that he's not going to tolerate any more of it. Now, the real question is why Joe Biden wants to do this in the, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:25 the lurid twilight of his only term. And, you know, I suppose, The idea is that in some way he's protecting his so-called legacy and protecting it against what would otherwise be the second and greatest military foreign policy humiliation that he's led the country into, which will be when we have to settle this Ukraine war business. And it's going to have to be settled. And he never wanted to do it. He just wanted to drag it out and probably for the benefit of a number of parties in the country,
Starting point is 00:21:10 the, you know, the people who make money at war and others. And this war is going to be settled. We don't really have any particular interest in Ukraine. So here we are. Ukraine has been in Russia's short of the transition of power. that'll come when Mr. Trump enters the White House. And Joe Biden seems to think that he will be protecting his legacy by starting World War III. Okay, but so help me understand what that means.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Why would he think that would burnish his unburnishable legacy? Well, because he will start a conflagration so great that all of the, mischief that led up to creating this situation will be forgotten. Namely, the U.S. starting the war, provoking the war, and then financing and supplying the Ukrainians to keep the war going, and all of the grift that's gone into it. Okay, when we come back, when we come back, I want to get into this because we need, we need to spell out what we're talking about. This is very important, folks.

Okay, take us through, Jim. I've done this on the program before with others like my friend John Zmirak, but you and I both remember the fall of the Soviet Union.
Starting point is 00:25:24 And it's like, ding-dong, the witch is dead. It's over. It's over. The Soviet Union is gone. We don't need NATO. NATO existed, you know, to push against the Soviet Union. And now, as you say in your substack, Russia was looking to be like, you know, Finland or, I don't know, to be another European nation welcomed back into the community of nations, you know, pre-Soviet Union. And the big money, the Dick Cheney Uniparty, neocon warmongers thought, not so fast.
Starting point is 00:26:02 we would prefer you to be our enemy. We would prefer you to prop up this fiction. I mean, that's what you're saying. Yeah, apparently that's the case that we decided that we wouldn't allow Russia to become, once again, a normal European nation. And they really, you know, struggled out of their own psychotic break of being communists that lasted for seven decades. and they had created this political system that operated contrary to all of the laws of human nature. And naturally, after a while it failed because of that. And then they struggled to regain their senses and became, you know, a normal country with business and shopping and free travel to other countries and all the things that made a Western country.
Starting point is 00:27:00 nation normal. And we simply wouldn't permit that. So in 2014, we destabilized Ukraine. And from that point on, we started encouraging the Ukrainians to mistreat the people in in eastern, far eastern Ukraine near the border of Russia by bombing and shelling them and rocketing them. And Mr. Putin had enough of that after a number of years. And he, formed this special military operation to put a stop to it. We sent so many armaments over there and gave them so much money that it became very difficult for Mr. Putin to put an end to this. And we also created a kind of racketeering system where a lot of the money that went to Ukraine
Starting point is 00:27:54 was actually laundered and sent back to the United States. and a lot of it ended up in the Democratic Party in the hands of the Democratic Party and the people in the party. And I think that that's going to be the big, dirty secret that will be uncovered when this is over and Mr. Trump gets in the White House and we are able to investigate
Starting point is 00:28:14 how this thing started and continued. And we'll discover that it was a giant money laundering racket for the benefit of the Democratic Party. And they're terrified that this will be discovered and thus Mr. Biden thinks that the best way to cover this up is to start World War III. Extraordinary to think that we're really having this conversation, but it really does look like there are people around him for whom this is a good idea. Where do you think Biden is in the middle of this? And that was, like, who are the people around him advising him?
Starting point is 00:28:53 because we know he's mostly non-compos mentis. Yeah. Well, there are the known ones and the unknown ones. And, you know, I mean, we know Anthony Blinken and Jake Sullivan and, you know, others in the neocon foreign policy establishment. There are also all of the hordes of people from the NGOs and the think tanks and the organizations outside of government who, you know, are, are twanging on him. And but for, as for Joe Biden himself, he doesn't seem to really be completely there and is easily manipulated and is easily
Starting point is 00:29:39 angered and, you know, we'll, we'll throw the toggles that he has to throw to make these things happen. I don't think he's completely gone, but I don't think he understands the consequences of his actions. And that's the big trouble. And nobody around him will bump him out of there, you know, invoke the 25th Amendment to keep the country a little bit safer until the transition of power occurs. And, you know, behind that is the massive, massive mendacity of the Democratic Party, the party of chaos, which, by the way, I'm still a registered Democrat. after all, you know, after 45 years or so of first voting. And only because I haven't bothered to change my registration.
Starting point is 00:30:35 But it is just amazing to me what has happened to that party. And, you know, it's really at this point trying to commit suicide and take the country down with it. Oh, well, I mean, it's comedic. When I hear them talking about, like, where did we go wrong? You know, when you say one plus one equals three, that's where you start going wrong. There doesn't seem to be any serious reckoning because it's kind of like saying, it's like you're a lousy baseball team. Like you can't play baseball.
Starting point is 00:31:07 And you go like, why did we lose? What can we do? You can play baseball better. They're not even interested in that. They're interested in winning somehow without actually playing baseball better. In other words, they're not actually thinking about reality. It's sort of our messaging was wrong, as though, you know, you could put lipstick on a pig. It's just amazing to me because, of course, they have veered so outrageously, dramatically left that anybody in America knows that, you know, but everybody but the pundits seem to understand that.
Starting point is 00:31:39 We're going to go back. But that's all pretend. Forgive me, we'll be right back talking to James Howard Hunsler. Starting point is 00:33:14 So you're saying that the reckoning on the left or on the pundits, the Democratic voices that it's pretend. I think there have been a few people. I think Brian Williams of all people recently, he was talking on one of those late night shows, one of those horrible late-night shows, but he seemed to be genuinely angry at the Democratic Party, you know, for abandoning the working man. I mean, there was there was common sense in what he was saying, which was a little shocking. Yeah, what they really can't come to terms with, though, is their immense dishonesty. You know, they were lying, especially the people in the media, who were lying to their customers to the American public for a decade. And so they're coming back
Starting point is 00:34:05 on TV now, wringing their hands, pretending to want to come to terms with why they got kicked out of power. And, you know, that project isn't working very well. And, you know, sooner or later, they're going to have to come clean. And if they don't, there won't be any Democratic Party. That segment of the political world will have to reorganize itself some other way. But, you know, it'll be like 1856, you know, with the Whig Party, which was basically running America for 20 years before the Civil War. And they just went up in a vapor overnight, you know, because they simply couldn't come to terms with what the problems that the country was struggling with, namely, you know, slavery. I didn't think it was the end of them. Wigs. That's pretty, you're, you're, I mean, none of us can remember.
Starting point is 00:35:04 anything other than there's the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. We forget that the Republican Party, you know, came into existence, you know, around the same time Abraham Lincoln was running for president. It's an amazing thing. And I think we're at that kind of a moment where whatever the Democratic Party has become, it's, they're losing on all fronts. I mean, it couldn't be worse. And you almost wonder how they got as many votes as they did unless they stole a bunch of those. But I don't know. No, I think that the propaganda efforts of the blob that lurks behind the Democratic Party have been just fantastically successful. And that there are a lot of people in the country who have been literally made mentally ill as a result of it
Starting point is 00:35:56 and are having a very hard time discerning what is real and what is not. Well, well said. I mean, you do wonder, though, where we go from here. I mean, it's still, it's a little shocking that they have as many seats in Congress and as many seats in the Senate as they do, that they're even in the game. And that's, of course, because they've been propped up by the, what we call the legacy media. I think yesterday, by some horrible mistake, I stumbled on like CBS News, weekend news or something like that. And I just thought to see. them sitting around talking to each other, I thought the nightmare is that there are some people still listening to these people, to the mainstream media. Yeah. Well, it remains to be seen how they're going to respond when the truth about what has happened in this country is revealed. And there's a lot of it about a lot of different things. Well, talk about that. So obviously, you're saying when that that will happen. Yeah. I think the truth about,
Starting point is 00:37:01 the Russiagate business, the January 6th business, the Trump prosecutions, what happened in the FBI and the Department of Justice. And I do believe there were going to see serious investigations. And it won't take more than the prosecution of a few key characters, I think, to for America to get its mind right? Well, you know, when you mention these things, I think what I've noticed over the last few years is that there are many people who live in a world where they don't want to believe
Starting point is 00:37:44 that these horrible things could be true. It's much easier to believe that some bad actors did some bad stuff on January 6th and they deserve to be in prison. It's much easier to believe that than to believe that our federal government was involved in a Psi-Ops thing on that level. It's just too horrible, but it's true.
Starting point is 00:38:01 And the only thing I can think of, I mean, that applies for the COVID hoax and the vaccine and that all of this stuff is so wicked that your average American hasn't grown up in a world where that kind of stuff is possible. And so it's hard to face, frankly. And it reminds me really of when the death camps were revealed in 1945, not just Germans, but many people around the world just thought, this can't be. It's just not possible. like we know Hitler's bad, but this, not this. And it took some real time to process that. Or maybe some people never processed. Well, the Nuremberg trials had a definite clearing of the mind effect on what was then the
Starting point is 00:38:48 civilized world. And, you know, we're going to see some procedures that will be the equal of that, I think. We're heading into it. And it's not going to be the only preocular sole preoccupation. of the next administration, of course, because they have a lot of other work to do to clean up the mess that has been left to us by the Biden administration. And some of the previous ones, the Obama administration too. And, you know, we have a very, very damaged economy, a very damaged tax system.
Starting point is 00:39:26 and $36 trillion in debt hanging over us. And a lot of things that aren't working, you know, my girlfriend has been going through some interesting misadventures trying to line up a surgical procedure that she's going to have. And what she's noticed about the medical system is that absolutely nothing works. You know, nobody, nobody notifies her physicians about the tests that she takes. You know, nothing happens on schedule or on time. Nobody responds to emails.
Starting point is 00:40:07 You know, this is really the problem in America is that more and more, nothing works at all. And it's going to be left to, you know, the people coming in to try to arrange things so that we begin to recognize that sort of problem. that we it's important to live in a society where things actually work people feel responsible things happen they get done you know you just can't make excuses for everything talking to james howard cuncelor we'll be right back Make like a Mr. Milk toast, you'll get shot up. Welcome back talking to James Howard Consular. So, Jim, you are, you believe that we will have the reckoning that many of us hope we'll have, and that we will shine the light of truth on these snake nests, really all the evil that we've seen, particularly in the last four years, but it's been going on forever.
Starting point is 00:41:36 what the COVID lunacy, this kind of globalist scheme that we still don't know the details, but Naomi Wolf produced this book, the Pfizer papers. It's it is like, you know, we need a Nuremberg trial reckoning just for that. So what is it? Then we're going to get it. We're going to have it. And actually, we know a whole hell of a lot about what happens. happened. We just haven't been able to pursue it through any kind of official channels that would really allow it to register in the public consciousness. But we know where it came from. We know how
Starting point is 00:42:21 Anthony Fauci arranged for it to happen. We know how he exported the research to China. We know the involvement of Ralph Barrack at the University of North Carolina. And he's managed to stay completely out of the news for the last three years. And he's one of the major players in this whole thing. We know about Peter Dasick and the EcoHealth Alliance and how they operate it as the middleman between the public health officials in America and the pharma companies and the lab in China. We know all of this. What we need is some kind of official set of proceedings that will allow allow the testimony to be recorded and processed, and then for the chips to fall where they may in terms of responsibility for who did this. Because at the end of the day, what you're left
Starting point is 00:43:19 with COVID are millions and millions of people who have been injured, killed, harmed, whose lives have been interfered with. And then you have the, you know, secondary and tertiary levels of harm of people whose livelihoods were ruined because they told the truth about it as the thing unfolded. And it is a gigantic mess, and we have to deal with it. Now, Mr. Trump is in a peculiar situation because he was manipulated as well when he was president by some of those characters, and he has not yet been in a position where he is able to take his part of the responsibility for allowing himself to be manipulated and beginning this process. Most of the damage was done during the period when Joe Biden was president. And in any case, this thing's
Starting point is 00:44:20 going to be revealed, and it's going to be one of the things that were, it's one of the hashes that we're going to settle as things move along. One of the hashes we're going to settle. Yeah, it's, but it's so big. I mean, it's so big. It's so nefarious. It's so far ranging that it's staggering. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:44 And one of the things that's really staggering is what are we going to do about all the doctors who went along with it, including the doctors who incrementally and slowly found out that they were fronting for a very dishonest operation and still did it anyway. Maybe we can go back to, you know, colonial times and make them ride the wooden horse or tar them and feather them or something like, ride them out of town on a rail, something like that. Well, it's very difficult because, you know, a lot of doctors dropped out during the COVID thing and decided they didn't want to just, they didn't want to practice and work anymore.
Starting point is 00:45:21 A lot of them disassociated themselves from medicine because of it. that. And one of the, one of the consequences of that is we have a tremendous shortage of doctors now in America. Well, we're going to, we're going to have to leave it there. We're at a time. Jim, thank you. You're welcome, Eric. It's a pleasure to be with you.
