Starting point is 00:00:10 Have you checked your bucket list lately? Are you ready to take care of item number seven? Listening to the Eric Mattaxas show? Well, welcome, tune in, and then move on to item number eight, skydiving with Chuck Schumer and AOC. Here now is Mr. Completed My Bucket List at age 12, Eric Mattaxas. Holy cow. I woke up this morning, Chris Heimes, and I realized yesterday was not a dream. It actually...
Starting point is 00:00:42 Yeah. You know, it was so odd. It felt like Christmas morning to me. You go outside. The sun is shining. It was literally like 78 degrees or something like that yesterday. It felt like Miami. And it was like, uh, pinch me.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Is this real? I'm as giddy as a school girl. Yeah. That explains your pigtails this morning. Thank you. I don't know how you did that. You were now watching the video. Can't see that I'm wearing pigtails.
Starting point is 00:01:08 And shame on you, folks. But seriously, I'm still trying to figure out, I feel like yesterday I began the program by announcing our long national nightmare is over. A lot of people don't get that reference. They're too young. But when Gerald Ford took the presidency after Nixon resigned, we had been through something as a country. Watergate had been a painful process, you know, for two years. And it was like finally, finally, finally, we have this, you know, reprieve and now we can move on. Well, that was nothing compared to what we've been through these last four years.
Starting point is 00:01:53 I mean, genuinely, no comparison. What we've been through in the last four years has been really difficult. If you've been tracking, it's been stressful. we have on this program tried to help people to process it and to say, what do we do? First of all, we look to the Lord. If you don't believe in God, tough luck for you. He believes in you and he loves you and he died for you. And all that stuff is actually true. But you're not compelled to believe it any more than you're compelled to believe that the earth is not flat. You're on your own. But I just want to tell you, my belief is that the earth is a sphere, an oblate sphero.
Starting point is 00:02:35 And my belief is that God's hand is on this country. Now, people on the left, there are these progressive Christians who, when you even say something like that, they think, oh, you're a Christian dominionist. You believe they really, this is, you know, so I basically try to ignore these folks because they're just crazy. You know, what looked like normal Christianity for 200 plus years, suddenly, if you believe God's hand is on this country. God wants to bless this country. Lincoln called us an almost chosen people. Why? For God's purposes, not so that we can have, you know, a thousand
Starting point is 00:03:16 year right like Adolf Hitler, but people are unable to make the distinction between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler. So you could understand that they have a whole different view, but we're not talking about that. Well, there's a cognitive dissonance, right? I mean, people are having to wake up and be like, wait, they either have to accept the fact that they've been gaslit and lied to for four years and continue with that narrative. You know, you have the people on the media that keep wanting to say Donald Trump's a racist, followers are racist, or maybe groceries are too damn expensive. Maybe, uh, yes.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Well, look, man, there's, there's so much. There's so much. People are texting me right now. Don't be texting me. Is anybody out there texting me? don't do that. I, we have a lot going on.
Starting point is 00:04:05 First of all, today in hour one, I believe we got James O'Keefe coming up. Do we have James coming up? Yeah, we have him coming up later in like 10 minutes. Okay, so we've got James O'Keefe can of,
Starting point is 00:04:18 I cannot wait to hear from him. He was in the field, you know, it's hard to keep up with him. Every time he pops up, he's got, you know, an undercover video from the border
Starting point is 00:04:27 or, you know, I don't need, I imagine he was a, the polling stations, I think, on the election night. So it'll be exciting. It's exciting that we're going to hear from him. We're going to hear from John Smirak. We're going to hear from Naomi Wolf.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Whoa. We're going to hear from Larry Taunton. So some of that's today. Some of that's tomorrow trying to figure out what's what. And then Monday, Monday, we have something that's out of this world. Literally. Ladies and gentlemen, if you tune into the show on Monday, prepare to be freaked out. Now you think I'm kidding? No, I'm not kidding. Now, those of us who trust in the
Starting point is 00:05:07 Lord ought never to be freaked out. It really was a wonderful conversation. And I have to say, I'll leave it at that. But it has to, well, no, I won't leave it at that. It has to do with the actual identity of the Nephilim. It has to do with the idea of these unidentified flying objects as demonic. It really gets into some stuff. It's very provocative, but very interesting. There's a new book out. And I just want to say that I don't,
Starting point is 00:05:40 when people talk about this kind of stuff, I don't want to give it the time of day unless it sounds plausible and unless the author sounds like they're really onto something. And I want to say this author is really onto something. So it's kind of a big deal. So Monday, don't miss it.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Now, by the way, if you're not yet subscribed to my email newsletter, tomorrow's newsletter, we will have the video of my interview with this guy, LA, I was going to say Santulli, no. Marzuli. Marzuli. It has the word Mars in it. L.A. Marsu. Leave it to you. L.A. Marzuli, that's money.
Starting point is 00:06:25 But my point was that we send out a newsletter now twice a week, and we almost always have these videos in the newsletter. Trust me, if you can watch the video with L.A. Marzuli, that'll be tomorrow. Monday, we're going to air it on this program, on the radio program. But the video will be out tomorrow. We also have a video with Bodie. I can never pronounce her last name. anyway,
Starting point is 00:06:54 Tayon, Taney, Taney, Taney, Body Taney. One of the most delightful interviews I've done in a long, long time. If you can see the video, we taped it at the TBN studio a couple of days ago. I promise you, folks,
Starting point is 00:07:12 just delightful hour-long conversation. Bodie Taney, in a nutshell, is an historical novelist, but she worked with John Wayne. She knew John Wayne personally. We had just an amazing conversation, just delightful. So if you want to watch the videos, and I'm trying to steer people, please sign up for our newsletter. It's Ericmataxis.com. We send it out twice a week.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I say this over and over. There is tons of stuff in the email. It's just going to make your life easier. You're going to say, oh, click. And then, you know, all the information about the cruise. We have 150 people signed up paid already. And I don't know if you got the memo because a couple of friends are saying to me, is it too late? Is it too late?
Starting point is 00:08:05 Well, no, it's definitely not too late. The people who put on the cruise, inspiration cruises, had said to us, November 1st, we have to let some rooms go. So make sure people sign up before then. but they told us that enough people have signed up that they did not let the rooms go. So there is still time to do that. And I want to be clear. I mean, listen, probably you could sign up in March if you need to. But I'm saying if you want to get the best rooms.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Yeah, and you can do a deposit. You don't need to put everything up front. So if you need time, like most people probably do. That's the key is that if you, actually, I shouldn't have meant, I mean, I should have been mentioning this. part of the reason for signing up now is the money you put down now is very little. So if you decide in March or April, oh, you know what, I can't do this, you're losing very little money. So I want to just say that's another reason to sign up now. But to go there, go to Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise, ericmetaxis.com slash cruise.
Starting point is 00:09:15 and I have friends contacting me and they're asking, is it too late? Definitely not. And I just, I think the fellowship, it's just going to be like heavenly. I think it's going to be heavenly. When we come back, I want to talk with you, Chris,
Starting point is 00:09:35 about the election. I was watching a lot of TV yesterday. I don't normally watch this stuff. Yeah. I got to say, there's some stuff that came up. I want to talk, I want to talk for one thing about Greg Gutfeld. Just wait. You wait.

Starting point is 00:12:20 And why should I? What are emotions for, if not to spill? out into the wider world. I X you. Well, Eric, yesterday it was suggested to you, you could be Trump's new press secretary. I suggested you do it as your Greek character. Well, you know, you realize, though, like yesterday was such a crazy day. By the way, I don't want to forget. Today, I'm recording a podcast.
Starting point is 00:12:44 It was scheduled two days ago, got changed. Today, I'm recording with Russell Brand. Yeah, Russell Brand is going to have me on his podcast. It's called Breaking Bread. I don't know if we're going to be able to play any clips from that on this program. But, hey, how exciting that Russell Brand has come to faith in Jesus. That is pretty beautiful. I got to tell you, it doesn't get more beautiful than that.
Starting point is 00:13:11 I also want to say, because it's just insane, we are, there's so much to say. We'll be talking about this, but I want to say about the Bonhofer film. There's a premiere in New York, like a big red carpet premiere. I don't think I'm going to be able to be at it because I have to fly to Birmingham for a big event. And I've already seen the film three times, four times. So I don't need to see it again. But I just want to say, I was saying to Suzanne this morning, I can't believe this is finally happening. I mean, for years and years, we've been excited about the idea of a Bonhofer film.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Now, again, it's not officially based on my book. I'm not involved. Who cares? The people who made this film made a great Bonhofer film. It may as well be based on my book because it's totally accurate. That's a big deal that, you know, left-wing lunatics did not create a progressive Bonhofer or a gay Bonhofer. There's a book out. I'm not making this up.
Starting point is 00:14:21 I heard about this years ago, and then the book came out. I won't even mention the title. But it's a weird biography of Bonhoeffer that suggests that he was gay, that he was like, I mean, you feel like you'd be making this up as a joke. So there are these crazy progressive Christians. Yeah, I mean, it's part of a cultural wave to you of just progressives in general that want to make everything gay. It's like the Alex Jones, the rain is turning in the frogs.
Starting point is 00:14:51 gay. It's like these progressives who, you know, they want to turn Abraham Lincoln gay in a new movie. It's like, what's happening? Actually, that's one of the funniest things ever. When we went, Keith Jinta and his wife, Jill, and Suzanne and I went to see the Reagan film. I know I talked about this on the program. When we saw the Reagan film when it came out, this is, I don't know, two months ago, whatever it was, we're in the theater. And I never go to theaters to see films. And I forgot that there's like a half an hour, literally of previews. It was horrible.
Starting point is 00:15:22 So the Reagan film was amazing. But before the Reagan film, they had a preview of a film that purports to be Lincoln is gay. It's a film about Lincoln being gay. Now, I know enough about Lincoln to know that this is just lunacy. It's lunacy.
Starting point is 00:15:42 But there are people, anyway, so they, so this guy writes a book saying that Bonhofer is gay. And in the book, this is no joke, okay? This is a big biography. He doesn't mention Bonhofer's relationship with his fiancé. In my book, I deal it's like 100 pages. It's basically an amazing love affair, an amazing relationship. They write all these love letters back and forth.
Starting point is 00:16:07 And the whole thing is so obvious that he's in love, that she's in love. And actually, when I reread my book, I was saying last week I read my Bonhofer. her book in preparation for this Jordan Peterson course that I'm going to be taping next week in Miami. And I'm reading the book, and I got choked up when you read about Maria, his fiancé, going to his house, going to his room, he's in prison. But she was hanging out with his parents. You know, she thinks these are my future in-laws. And she goes up to his room.
Starting point is 00:16:45 And she says how moved she was. see his things around in the room and to see his shoes. And I got so choked up because I thought he's never coming home. He's going to be murdered. They're never going to get married. It is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking things, this love affair between them. So, you know, the idea that there are progressive Christians out there who say, well, Bornhofer was gay, and they write books about it, and they don't even mention this huge, passionate love affair that he has with Maria van Vedemeyer. Nor do they mention his love affair with Elizabeth Zinn, this eight years that he's spending time with this woman before. I mean, anyway, it's all in my book.
Starting point is 00:17:32 If you want to copy my book, I say go to my website, Eric Mataxis.com. You can get autograph copies. You can get, it's cheap. The hardcover is cheaper than any place else. Well, maybe it's like the kind of thing where the new gay is having a great. girlfriend. You know, it's a straight. Now it's, everything's come full circle, you know. Something like this. Ladies and gentlemen, you got to see the Bonhoeffer film. The weekend, it comes out. Go to angel.com slash Eric. You get seriously discounted tickets, but the film is so
Starting point is 00:18:02 awesome. I just want to tell you, it is awesome. I've seen it. It's beautiful. It's gorgeously acted, gorgeously directed, gorgeously shot. But you got to make a big opening weekend, November 27. and go to angel.com slash Eric. If you sign up for my newsletter, we'll send you all this stuff, and we'll send you links about the Peterson Academy thing that I'm doing in Miami. All right, we'll be back to talk about all this kind of stuff, but I want to talk to James O'Keefe. Can we bring them on?
Starting point is 00:18:29 Bring them on. Folks, as I just told you, James O'Keefe, the James O'Keefe joins us. James, we love you. We are proud of you and the work you're doing. Welcome back to the program. Great to be with you. where do we start? I mean, you have been heroic in so many ways, specifically now with this election, with the polls. Anything you can tell us about that? Anything can tell us about anything? I'm just great to see you. Well, we just went to three states on Election Day, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey. We were encountering six hour-long lines and five-hour-long lines in Trenton, four-hour-long lines in Burlington County. And all the voters said they've never seen anything like that. They were, they called it a disgrace.
Starting point is 00:19:16 There were new machines, I guess, and it used to be paper ballots. So it just takes longer, but they were happy to sit there for five, six hours, at least in the state of New Jersey. And it was remarkable was a 72 degree evening, which is insane for November in the New York area. And they were all just complacently waiting to do their civic duty. And so, you made all these videos. We also were in Philadelphia. So we had hidden cameras across the country. and I think that deterred. There's a lot to break down here, but I think the accountability mechanism really deterred anyone from doing anything illegal. That's at least what I've seen. And also the civic engagement was off the charts.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Now, we all know the election in 2020 was stolen. And what amazes me is that tons and tons and tons of people, even who love Trump, act as though that's not true. I mean, I was watching Greg Gutfeld. last night. It was probably the best show he has ever done. Brilliant. But somebody, I don't know if it was Tyrus or somebody, you keep hearing this. They keep talking about it in 2020. And it's clear that they don't believe the election was stolen. Other people that I know, they are, they just cavalierly talk about it. Like, well, Trump lost that one. But, and I think, I don't believe he lost that one. We have, what, 15 million more votes in 2020 than in this election. Are you? you kidding me? Do you have any sense if there's ever going to be a reckoning of that? Is there going to be a reckoning is a very existential question. I mean, and I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I'm very bad at predicting the future, Eric, but I think that this seems to me, my pulse on the world is that there was kind of a reckoning this week, and he won the popular vote, which is extraordinary. And you have a very temporary. sense of introspection from the mainstream media, which very rarely happens. It happened like in eight years ago for like a week and then everyone kind of started to proceed to use the administrative state to punish their enemies, myself included. I think there is kind of, there's a possibility of a reckoning if, and this is where I think we're really getting to the meat and potatoes of it. There's a new era now and yet they have the House, the Senate, and the White House. So there's no
Starting point is 00:21:36 excuses. They have all the power. And I think Trump's biggest challenge is going to be finding people around him that he can trust. The enemy now is no longer out there. The enemy is not the boogeyman, that, you know, Jack Smith is, you know, winding down his prosecutions. Now the enemy, at least for the Trump administration and for the powers that be, is going to be within. And if they can find people around him that he can trust, then I guess there will be the reckoning you speak of. and that's going to be the issue, I think, for them. It's certainly been the issue for me in the last few years, but that's going to be the issue in this new era.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Well, we're going to go to a break. We've got plenty more with James O'Keefe. I've got plenty more. I want to say, folks, praise God. We're living through exciting times. We're in a war, but the Lord is with us. And what happened yesterday, we've just got to say, thank you, Lord, and we fight on.

Use promo code Eric to get the standard My Pillar for only 1488, the lowest price ever. Welcome back. I have as my guest, James O'Keefe.
Starting point is 00:25:11 James, we were just talking about Trump. You mentioned Trump. I mean, look, let's be clear. The Trump of 2016 is not the Trump of 2024. He went in naive. He was not a politician. He was not a Beltway guy, not a government guy, not a D.C. guy. and he naively, and you can't really blame him, brought a lot of people on thinking, I want to be a centrist, I want to work with people.
Starting point is 00:25:35 He invited a lot of people in, Mike Pence, among them, probably others, I won't even mention them. But they were not, some of them were his enemies. Some of them were simply not willing to fight for him and with him. So they kind of helped others drag their feet. the question is now, will he bring people in who know what needs to be done, who will go scorched earth on the administrative state, who will go scorched earth on an FBI that did what they did to you, wicked, anti-American monsters who deserve a reckoning. And this is not ever about revenge. It's about justice. It's about cleaning house. What do you think? I think the enemy that you've known, like the media, the government, or the FBI, and by the way, the FBI rated my newsroom, Eric, and they still have my devices. So I understand how it feels, it's left to the extent of Trump, but I understand the enemy that you've known, the media and the government has lost most of their power. And the enemy is no longer out there.
Starting point is 00:26:42 The enemy is henceforth within. So now it's about finding trustworthy people, and you point out, and I'm not going to take a position on this, but you point out what needs to be, what needs to happen. And that's fine. but finding people that are aligned on that with good hearts who do the right thing for the right reasons. Eric, in Washington, D.C. is a catch-22. This tends to attract people who do things for the wrong reasons. I don't need to tell you that. You go to these functions and you're going to find that not everyone's going to agree with you.
Starting point is 00:27:10 I'm not saying I do or don't. I'm just saying it's going to be very difficult because the nature of the beast attracts people who care about the reputations. And they do care about the reputations. and money and power and the spotlight and all this sort of thing. So that's going to be the new discipline. And you say, well, he's learned his lessons. I'm sure. I'm sure he has.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I mean, but speaking for myself, discernment in people is very difficult. And I pray for that. I hope for that. I seek that. But the system has a way of bringing out the worst in people, particularly in politics, and particularly when it comes to power, power tends to corrupt an absolute power corrupts absolutely. And right now you have what appears to be a complete taking over of all three branches of government by the Republican Party.
Starting point is 00:27:55 And I think we all agree that not everyone in Congress we can trust. Okay. So there's something. Wait a minute. I'm not talking about Congress is filled with bums and rhinos. So is the Senate. We know that. But there are enough there that are heroes.
Starting point is 00:28:10 But I'm talking about General Flynn. I'm talking about Steve Bannon. I'm talking about Naomi Woll. These are decent people. These are good people, but I believe that they have to fill the government with how many 5,000 positions in our government. I think it was James Zier. Charlie Kirk was stating that if you think about it, the administration, according to them, would have to fill 5,000 positions with non-woke commies. And all I'm suggesting is that this is extremely difficult. It's possible, but I'm just saying that it's very challenging.
Starting point is 00:28:48 That is the dawn of the new era that they face right now. Well, you're right. But I think that the will of the people is that they do that. And so they have to do that. And they have to find the right people. I think that Tulsi Gabbard, J.D. Vance, you can go down the line. The people who have stood up for Trump, they get it. They understand where we are.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I don't know. Listen, you and I, we're two people. Like, I don't see myself working in a Trump administration. I mean, I would, but it's not like I see that happening. But the point is there are a lot of people that know what is happening and want to help and are trying to get the word out. I mean, one thing you said, the legacy media has never been more dead. If there can be degrees of deadness, what happened the other day, Wow. Wow. What a review to the New York Times and I'm advancing like months down the football field when I should be, we should be talking about this on the eve. I'm forgiving me because what I've been through in my life and what I've experienced to kind of the deep spiritual divide, the good and evil within. I mean, these are things that I really want to talk about. But yes, the media is dead. They have no power. Hollywood's done. because those organs of information are not as powerful. Elon Buying X was the most consequential thing in the history of Western civilization. Buying Twitter, in my opinion, was the most consequential thing for the first amendment ever. All those legacy organizations are done. However, they still have some power, and now you have to face the reckoning of the sort of people in government have the power. and they can't with great power comes great responsibility, as you know.
Starting point is 00:30:46 And we'll see what happens. But in my own life, I've seen people crack when they're trying to be aligned around a cause. Well, I get that. And you've been through hell. Are you familiar with, because we've talked about this, are you familiar with Tucker Carlson talking about being attacked by demons? Yes. Yes. Can you talk about that because we haven't talked about that on this program? Can you say what you know about that?
Starting point is 00:31:18 Well, I listened to it. His podcast or his interview and the demons were attacking him in the bed. They said they were clawing on his sides. It was physical. I believe he said there were still claw marks there. And that's what I heard him say. Okay. I just want to say, I know there are people listening to this program, even listening to this program, who just go, what? What the heck? are you talking about? And I'm here, ladies and gentlemen, to tell you, if you claim to be some kind of Christian and you don't believe in this, then you're a baby, baby Christian if you are a Christian. This stuff is real. There is evil. When we come back, we'll talk more about it, talking to James O'Keefe. Welcome back, folks, talking to James O'Keefe of O'Keefe Media Group, O'MG. How cool is it that O'Keefe Media Group is OMG. I just want to say kudos to you on coming up with that. That's clever. You're very clever. People don't know. You're a complex person, James O'Keefe. I've
Starting point is 00:32:31 gotten to know you. And you're very funny. You're very interesting. You're very deep. You're very serious. And it's just a joy to know you're out there fighting. But we're talking about the fight. You and I have talked about this. I mean, what you just said about Tucker, I guarantee you there are tons of supposed Christians. I'm not talking about secular people. I'm not talking about who when they hear about demons clawing somebody, they have nowhere to go with that. They do not understand this stuff is real. It is real, folks.
Starting point is 00:33:05 It is real. And we are in a war. It is at its heart a spiritual war. I write about this in my book, Religionless Christianity. It is a spiritual war. And the dark stuff is coming out in the open. That's part of what we're seeing everywhere.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I mean, you're seeing a level of brazen. reasoned this with the evil that has never happened before. But the good news is that as evil comes out of the woodwork, because it doesn't know how not to at this point, a lot of good people are going, oh, that's evil. I guess I want to turn to God. That's a big part of the dynamic of what we're talking about in the midst of the war, which is why I believe we're going to see revival and reformation in the years ahead. Yeah. That's, you know, I feel like a broken record, but this the Solzhenitsin quote, the line that separates good and evil is within us, within us. Roseanne Barr said it in a way that I've never heard anyone say it too.
Starting point is 00:33:59 She goes, the fight is within us. And she's been through hell with like her ABC News position. So this is the idea that there's goodness and darkness in every single person. There's, there's light and darkness. And when the darkness is greater than the light or great, and I'm not as versed in, you know, the Bible is you, but I'm just speaking in my own words. When the darkness is greater than the light, then that person will seek, and some of these people exist around us, you know, in the conservative movement, the Republican Party, whatever you want to call it, they will seek to destroy someone who has the greater goodness and then the darkness. And I think we're entering an era. I think there is a reckoning.
Starting point is 00:34:41 There is a realignment politically, culturally. Hollywood's dead. Legacy media has lost all of its power. They try to put Trump in jail and kill them and they fail. they try to put me in jail too. I think we're entering an era where we're going to have to reckon with that spiritual thing, which is the darkness inside of us. And some people are lost souls, I've found.
Starting point is 00:35:01 They're very difficult to reform. You seek to expose, I expose corruption and fraud for living. They have no shame. They will not say, I'm sorry, you're right. I made a mistake. None of my subjects will ever say that. Even when I put them on YouTube, they will use any device, trick, deceit to gas, light you. And those people are all actually around us. Actually, that fight is within us. Because
Starting point is 00:35:27 every one of us, I think you would agree, Eric, has darkness inside of ourselves. We're all sinners, right? There's a, they're to a degree. We've got to be clear. No, there's no degree. We are all sinners who deserve eternal punishment. God gives us Jesus and says, I have a plan for you. I love you. I don't want to be separated from you for eternity. There are some people who will accept that infinite offer of love, and there's some people who won't. It's difficult for us to process that anybody could turn that down. But I think there are people, look, I spent time with David Berkowitz, the former son of Sam, serial murderer. I spent time with him a few months ago.
Starting point is 00:36:15 God got a hold of this guy. I don't know if it was eight or nine years, 10 years into his prison sentence. He was worshipping demons in his cell. He was into satanic worship. Right. God got a hold of him. And for the last 40 years, he has been a sold out, obedient servant of Jesus Christ. God can get a hold of anybody.
Starting point is 00:36:40 But you are right. There are people that God, they're not interested in this. they are very broken. You want to give them evidence of their brokenness and their sin and where it's led to. They don't care. If they have another option, they're going with the other option. They don't want to accept their own brokenness, their own sin, their own culpability, and say, I repent.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Because I guess they don't believe God will meet them. So they feel like I've got to keep running. There's no God. So that's a reality. But I'll tell you, James, I think there are many. Russell Brand, I'm going to talk to him later today. There are many people that they've gone through all kinds of stuff, and they come ultimately to God, to truth. So I am very hopeful that a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Not the subjects that I've, I'm sure some, but the people that I've investigated, the Pfizer guy, the subjects in D.C., not them. No. They seek to destroy the flashlight shining on them. That's been in my experience, 95% of the time. Oh, yeah. No, no, no, no. And look, I just want to be clear, we want to hold out hope for anybody. I mean, if these people are caught and they go to jail or where at some point they get so low in life, their life falls apart, at that moment, we hope that God gets a hold of them in that moment.
Starting point is 00:37:59 We don't know if it's 20 years from now or maybe it's never. We don't know. But you're quite right. The more intense that beam of light is. And you're talking about, we're talking about serious things here, an existential reformation, if you will, of the culture realignation. of the media. The media's lost most of its power. Hollywood's lost most of its power. We are the media. You have more power, Eric Metaxis than CNN. We are the media now. It's a totally different era. We're no longer the underdog guy. We have the power. And what I have found in my life,
Starting point is 00:38:32 and I'm speaking from experience to the degree that I can. I'm still being sued by the company I founded, by the way. There's a deposition today. You can't make this stuff up. There was no reformation of their hearts. Some people, when you are doing the things that you're talking about we seek to do or you had advised Trump to do and I agree with some of it, which is hold these people to account. Humans will do anything to protect their fragile ego. They will seek to do anything to evade accountability in my experience. And that's the new fight, which is you have this power to do something about it now. And you have to surround yourself with like a kintuk, almost like Trump would need disciples.
Starting point is 00:39:14 He would need people that no matter what those people were offered to incentivize them to betray their purpose, their principle, that they will not do that. And that's really hard. We're not talking about disciples of Donald Trump. We're talking about disciples of truth. I think that R.P. Junior, is that kind of a person? Yeah, you need people who have no price. And the problem is this movement, when I call the media, the news business, the political. It doesn't attract statesmen.
Starting point is 00:39:46 It tends to attract people. Well, look, we're going to go to a break. Folks, make sure you go to Eric Metaxus.com so you can get the video of this interview and other stuff. We'll be right back. Welcome back. Final segment with our friend James O'Keefe. James, I just want to say, we love you.
Starting point is 00:40:14 We're behind you. We are so admiring of your guts, your courage, what you've been doing. You're not fighting for yourself. fighting for truth, and there's so many lives that are touched by what you're doing. I want people just to know that. You've been through it. What do you see happening between now and January 20th? Well, I know I said I'm bad to predict the future questions, but what I see happening right now, which may be an indication, is that Jack Smith, the prosecutor, is winding down his cases. I think it's sad state of American affairs that people receive justice whether or not they win
Starting point is 00:40:51 elections. I think that's not a place we want to go. But I think Biden, I agree that Biden probably should pardon Trump just because it'll heal the country. I read that online yesterday, kind of like what Gerald Ford did with Nixon. And I think that will hopefully do a reset on this idea of political prosecutions, which is a recipe for disaster. We don't want to go down that road. And I I don't think that the Republican form of government and the Republicans having all three branches of the government should do that kind of thing. For example, the FBI raided my home. I don't think Trump should raid journalists' homes just because he doesn't like them. If they've done something criminal, fine.
Starting point is 00:41:37 But I think pardoning... No, of course not. We don't play that game. God forbid we would do that. I mean, that's what they accuse us of, and they're insane. That's what they do. But the point is, the FBI has to be held to account. The people who have done these things have to be held to account.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, you can go down the line. These people have to be held to account for what they have done. And that's justice. Yes, that is justice. It's just you're talking to, you know, the FBI still has my devices. So I hope that I get them returned. For example, I want to hold the FBI accountable and the DOJ accountable before they did. Merrick Garland and the Attorney General said we don't use violent force against newsroom.
Starting point is 00:42:16 he did that in violation of his own decree. So the accountability function is important, but I do think there needs to be kind of a reset and we need to tamp down this political prosecution of dissidents just because we don't like them. That's not American. I'm not talking about that. I'm not saying you're saying that.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I'm not saying what you're saying. I do not see Trump or anybody in the MAGA crowd wanting to do that. I mean, that's just the point is we need to clean house. And when he clean house, you got to fire people. Some people need to be prosecuted for stuff. I'm not talking about going after them because you don't like them. I'm talking about because they've broken laws, because they've gone against the Constitution. You know, so the details, I don't know the details, but I'm saying like vindictiveness is should be nowhere near any Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Absolutely not. Grace and mercy wherever possible, absolutely. And it looks like that's, it looks like we haven't given another chance. that God's given us another chance in this country and that good has, at least right now, overcoming evil. And there still is evil in the hearts of people. I think we have to be worried, Eric, again, I don't mean to repeat myself, but infiltrators, saboters, people who want it for the wrong reasons. We just have to find good people to govern.
Starting point is 00:43:35 And that's the challenge now. And I think it's a greater challenge than people think, because the enemy is always lurking out there. And there's a lot of darkness in our hearts, and we have to overcome that. So we're entering a new era where we are the media. We are no longer the underdog. We have the power to affect the culture and the price of liberty is eternal vigilance. And that's the truth. Where can people find you online, James?
Starting point is 00:44:01 Well, I mean, I'm a James O'Keefe III is my ex account. Instagram, James O'Keefe Media Group.com. And now one more thing, whistleblowers are coming out of the government, Eric. We had a FEMA whistleblower. And that'll be also something that we see moving forward with Citizen Journalism Foundation. That's my nonprofit. We have whistleblowers coming out of the administrative state. And maybe what we'll do is we'll reform these institutions rather than attack the whistleblowers.
Starting point is 00:44:29 By the grace of God, we will. And God bless you. James O'Keefe. Thank you. Thank you, Eric.
