Welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show.
It's a nutritious smoothie of creamy, fresh yogurt, vanilla protein powder, and a mushy banana.
For your mind, drink it all down.
It's nummy.
I wub, vanilla.
I wub, I wop, I wap, I wap, vanilla.
Here comes Eric Mataxas.
Hey there, folks.
It's Friday.
I'm in Palm Beach for the T.P. USA Gala.
excited to be here, so many friends.
On the show today, in a few minutes,
we're going to be talking to Jared Lamaster of the Babylon B.
We love Jared Lomaster.
We love the Babylon B is insanely funny.
I am stunned, actually, at the quality of humor comes out of there.
I follow them on X.
Almost every day, I am astonished at the quality of the jokes.
Not kidding.
I would be on X just to follow the Babylon B.
Not kidding.
After that, we're talking to our friend Kevin McCullough.
We're doing a campaign, as you know, with CSI, which is Christian Solidarity International.
It is a beautiful opportunity.
We didn't have an update today on how many of you have given.
We are, at this point, way behind where we would want to be.
I don't know why that is, but we want everyone to give as generously as you can.
It's a great cause.
in hour two today oh my gosh William Federer like drinking from a fire hose he shares stuff about
Christmas some of which I have never heard like Christmas stuff like where this came from where
that came from he's unbelievable he's like a robot of facts I've never encountered anything like
William Federer so that's in hour two today tons of interesting stuff I don't know where he finds this
stuff, but you'll see. That's, that's an hour too. I want to give you an update on the Bonhofer film
and on the cruise. Before that, we want to mention our friends at the Heritage Foundation. Some of you know
the President of the Heritage Foundation is Kevin Roberts. He's going to be on this program next week.
He has a book out called Dawn's Early Light. The Mission of the Heritage Foundation, they're the
folks behind Project 2025. You know, that's freaking out all of the woke,
crazies, the mission of the Heritage Foundation and the message of his book, Dawn's Early
Light, is really about, you know, the current revolution. It's like we, the people,
trying to get our government back from the blob, from the deep state. Dawn's Early Light is the
book, Get a Copy if you can. And speaking of books, my Bonhofer book, a lot of people are
buying it, I guess, as Christmas gifts because they've seen the film. I just help people go to my
website, ericmettaxas.com, if you want to copy of that book. Most of my books are available at
ericemtacus.com. You can also get them at Socrates in the city.com. And there's a lot of cool
Socrates swag at Socrates in the city.com. We want to remind you, remind you also of our friends at the
Herzog Foundation.
If, you know, people keep asking me, where do we go from here?
Where we are in America right now, we've won this election.
It is, it was utterly crucial.
It was an issue of survival for the Republic to win the election.
That's no hyperbole.
That is true.
And so by God's grace, we've won the election.
But we have tremendous work to do.
We have a war ahead.
We've got to take a flamethrower to the deep state.
There are people in our government that are wasting our tax dollars.
That's just putting it mildly.
Some of them are using our tax dollars against the will of we the people to do things against the will of we the people.
So we've got a lot to do.
And our friends at the Herzog Foundation, they're here to help us with regard to education.
So if you're interested in homeschooling, if you're interested in Christ-centered K-12 education,
the Herzog Foundation is the place.
You can find them at herdsugfoundation.com.
They're the best of the best.
They order a raft of free resources
for anyone interested in doing either homeschooling
or quality Christ-centered K-312 education.
Highly recommended, that's the Herzog Foundation.
So an update on the Bonhofer film,
as I have been warning,
liberal lunatics have been, and it is so baffling.
I have to be honest, it's baffling.
But they have been attacking the film yesterday in the magazine First Things,
which thank the Lord No One Reads.
It used to be a good magazine like 10 years ago,
but when Father Newhouse died, it fell into the wrong hands.
Kind of like Christianity today used to be a great magazine.
Both of them, both of these magazines, have written nasty, bizarre,
articles knocking me, knocking my Bonhoeffer book, which both of those magazines praised
like crazy when it came out. But they changed. And obviously, I did an evil thing by advocating
that people vote for Donald Trump. So both of these magazines have gone to the dark side.
and they, as of yesterday, published articles, both of them now, really viciously and genuinely, wrongly, stating things, I mean, or stating things that are genuinely wrong, not just difference of opinion, but like that things that are not factual.
And so that's kind of where we are that, that, you know, this is happening.
But I say all this because, as I've been warning, this great film, it was in 1900 theaters,
then it was in 1800 theaters.
I just found out that it is, I think, after this weekend, going into 900 theaters.
So huge drop off.
And this is what I was saying, that these theaters, if you don't, because so many friends,
literally my buddy Kirk Cameron said to me yesterday, like, oh, I haven't seen it yet.
So my friends don't know that, you know, if you don't see a film like this, it goes away.
So I want to ask you humbly, please, please go see the film, see it in a theater near you.
This is really important.
And look, it's not just important for the film.
It's the larger cause of the name of Bonhofer.
This guy is a hero.
And the fact that somebody made a wonderful film about him, it might not be a perfect film.
There's things that I quibble about, things, lines that I thought, oh, I wouldn't have said that.
but it's a great film about Bonhofer.
And so I just want to say, if you haven't yet seen it,
please, please see it, whether tonight or tomorrow
or this weekend at the latest,
because you see what happens.
I was afraid that that would happen,
and that is what happened.
And so, you know, I'm not clear why Angel made the decision,
you know, to do it after the election or whatever.
I don't know, but I do know that it's in theaters right now.
I want to say, please go see it.
And then before we go to Jared LaMastre of the Babylon B and Kevin McCullough and William Federer,
I want to mention the cruise.
Chris Heims, I don't know if you're following this, but every day now, people are signing up.
Like, something is going on.
It's very exciting.
You can sign up your relatives for Christmas.
It's a great kind of exciting gift you could do.
you don't have to pay for everything right away.
So it's a deposit first.
Oh, yeah, no, definitely.
Yeah, you just have to put a deposit.
And now, actually, that will change, actually,
because they only do that for a while.
And then eventually you've got to put up more money.
But as of now, it's still the same deal that it's been up to now.
But yeah, it would be like a crazy Christmas gift, you know,
to say to a spouse or a grandchild or whatever,
that, you know what, we're going to, we're going on a cruise.
to the Greek islands with Eric Metaxus and John Smirak and Albin.
By the way, Albin's going to be on the show Monday.
He's got a lot of stuff to share on Monday.
But it's on the go-carts.
The go-carts, Albin and I are going to be on the go-carts every morning at 7 a.m.
I just want to be upfront about this.
But it's such a joy to see more and more people being added.
You know, people are, or sometimes it might be something you want to do with a
friend or a couple will do it with another couple. There's all kinds of price points. It's 10
days of everything. It's a big deal. It's a big deal. So if you want to know more about it,
go to Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise. Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise. All the information is there.
I want to remind you about CSI. If you go to Metaxus talk.com, you'll see the banner.
it's a great opportunity, folks.
You know, in these controversial times where we argue about all kinds of stuff,
this is something I don't see anybody who would not think that this is an amazing opportunity
to literally free someone who is enslaved.
It's a great opportunity.
God bless you.
We'll be right back with Jared, the master.
Folks, I've got to be realistic about my diet in December.
It's got to be the worst month of the year in terms of eating.
No matter what you do, you're inevitably going to find yourself eating things, treats, meats,
dishes leaving very little room for the right stuff. But I will take balance of nature every single
day. Balance of nature is made from whole fruit and veggie ingredients and I will not skip taking
those daily supplements. It's the one thing I'll get right because feeling good is important to me,
especially in December. Join me in pushing back against the dreaded December diet crash. You can do

Hey folks, listeners to my show know I'm passionate about the work of Christian Solidarity International
because they protect and free those who are being persecuted and enslaved for their
faith. Thanks to you to date, CSI has freed more than 100,000 people from slavery in Sudan, but the
work is not done yet. It's estimated that there are still tens of thousands more still in bondage,
and CSI is preparing right now for their final slave liberation of this year. I'm hoping you'll
join me and help them liberate another 300 women and children. Your gift of just $250 will free a woman
in Sudan who has been enslaved for years and provide her with food and other supplies necessary
to start her new life. Call 888-253-3522.

Ladies and gentlemen, I warned you. Yes, I did. I said, if you were bad, I would bring on
the devil himself. Jared LaMaster. Jared, welcome back. Thank you, Eric. It's wonderful to be here
broadcasting from hell. I should probably clarify. You're not actually the devil, but you've played
him in videos. Not that there's anything wrong with that, man, because I respect different views,
but you have portrayed the devil for the Babylon B. You are with the Babylon B. Jared LeMaster with the
Babylon B. Jared LaMaster of the Babylon B. You've portrayed the devil. And it really has been
extraordinary to watch you play the devil. Also, you've played woke Jesus, who's a different
type of devil. Yeah, he's the same guy, same guy. Basically the same guy, woke Jesus. Yeah, that's right.
Yeah, it's been fun. We get to do a lot of them. But thank you, though, for not bringing up like David
Platt or any of these ex-Vangelicals, because we don't need to be controversial on this program.
You know what I'm saying?
Dude, I'll tell you what, brother.
There ain't nothing that bugs me more than those people.
So, yeah, that's funny.
That's why we better not talk about them.
The ex-Vangelicals, David, French, and, you know, like, we don't want to get into that.
Hey, let's not get into it right now.
Okay, you, you, my friend, you're, we've established that you're an actor.
And you're such an actor that even though you are filled with the Holy Spirit of God,
you're able to portray Satan and woke Jesus.
Like, that is a level of range, the fact that you could do that, the commitment.
The level of chameleonness, which is not a word, is amazing.
Thank you.
Yeah.
What's your latest role?
Like, aren't you in Homeland?
Can we talk about that?
Yeah, so Homeland was a different.
It's actually Homestead.
Yeah, so I have the T-shirt right here.
Homestead.
You see the little symbol right here that's like-
I'm sorry, Homestead.
Oh, yeah.
No, that's okay.
It's over on Angel.
It's on Angel.
And we're very excited about it.
It's coming out in theaters wide release in theaters.
December 20th, it's called Homestead.
It stars Neil McDonough, Bailey Chase,
quite a few other actors that you would probably know.
Neil McDonough, he's a hero.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Has he been on your show?
No, I'd love to get him on the show.
We should get him on the show.
Let's get him on the show, man.
All right, let's get him on the show now because I don't like you that much.
No, I know.
Yeah, let me call him.
Yeah.
Hey, Neil.
Okay, seriously, Jared.
Jared Lamaster, you are, you have a major role in Homestead.
and you said it's at angel.com.
They're the ones that, so it's coming out soon in a few weeks.
So they're doing the same model that they did with The Chosen,
which is they released a feature film,
and then it spins off into a television series.
And so it's a really, it's a long form story,
but it is based on the book series of Black Autumn,
which is all about like the end of the world scenario.
It's not a, it's a prepper kind of end of the world scenario,
a realistic, you know, dirty bomb goes off in San Pedro
and everybody has to get out of L.A.
and then, you know, everyone ends up,
the only people that survive are the people that have these like pre-prepared
homesteads that are self-sustaining.
And along with the military component,
because you got to keep all the, you know, refugees out.
And so it's a fascinating story.
And it's a realistic story.
Like, that's why it's kind of scary is that, you know,
they've run these scenarios.
Like the government's run these scenarios where if something were to happen
and people didn't have access to food and water in these cities,
centers, it would be, I mean, it would be like extinction level for like L.A., you know,
people wouldn't be able to get out of town.
There'd be nine million people on the 15, uh, trying to, trying to jam it.
And then there wouldn't be any food on the Costco shelves.
So it'd be really tough.
So a lot of, a lot of tough stuff.
But it's a realistic betrayal of that.
And my character is an interesting guy because he's the guy that did not plan for this thing.
Like most of this kind of centers around people that were sort of ready.
and my character is the guy that doesn't, that wasn't ready.
Like, he's the guy that's like making it up as he goes along,
which is exactly probably what I would be like.
So it's like he's trying to help his family,
trying to get into this homestead.
Will Will Neil McDana, McDonough's character, Ian Ross?
Will he let him in?
We don't know.
So you'll have to watch the movie to find out.
But I do have to, I do have this to say, I don't die.
I can say that, I think.
You can say that you don't die.
That's really big of you to let us know.
Yeah, I don't die.
So I'll probably be there for the rest of the season.
So the rest of the season.
So wait a second.
So what's launching later this month is the series.
Yeah, so the television series will launch in the new year.
The feature film is what's being released December 20th.
So it's going to be in theaters.
It's a two-hour.
This is like the, it's kind of like the pilot.
It's kind of like the pilot that sets the whole thing up,
but it's being promoted as a feature film.
Yeah, and it's going to be wide release.
It'll be at your AMC, you know, locally or Cinemark or whatever you guys have,
the regal, and you guys can go down and check it out.
And it's worth it.
And here's the thing.
So if you get tickets, if you order tickets now,
pre-order tickets, you can, you'll be entered into a drawing for a homestead
that is fully stocked with.
a Polaris like four-wheel drive vehicle, a bunch of like pre like those the those meals that
they have like MREs and it's worth about $300,000.
So people are signing up right now just to get their name and that so they can get the
drawing and somebody is going to win this homestead somewhere.
I don't actually know where it is.
I should look it up.
I think it might be in Utah.
And I'm just saying, you know, if you want a homestead, go buy tickets.
So you can go to angel.com and get tickets.
Now, if you go to angel.com and get tickets to the Bonhofer film.
you will not be entered in this drawing.
And I have to say, to me, it's 50-50,
whether I would want to enter the drawing or not.
So I would just get the Bonhofer tickets.
So Homestead is, it's interesting,
because the idea that it's being set up in this kind of feature film
is kind of like this pilot.
And then that reminds me of when I was a kid,
the Waltons was a big deal TV series.
And I remember it was launched with like a two-hour
pilot called The Homecoming. We were introduced, you know, to Michael Lernet, Ralph Waite,
who else was in that? Ellen Corby as the grandmother. And of course, Richard Thomas.
But it was like, there's a film. You get to know the characters. You like them. And then they say,
oh, and by the way, it's a series. You're like, I'm in. So this is a, it's a great way of doing it.
So this is Homestead. Homestead. Yeah. Homestead coming out soon. Coming out real soon. And it's
fun, my character. I was supposed to be there for about two weeks. I ended up shooting about two weeks last
year. And they ended up calling me again in like March to give me a backstory. So my family,
like I went up again and shot a few more days up in Utah. And they added a bunch of stuff
where we're living in our house and I had to get out of our little neighborhood. And it's,
it's really cool. It's like, I'm so surprised. You know, it's always a surprise when you get cast in
something. I was feeling it's like it's, you know, an unexpected blessing because you're always
auditioning and getting rejected. And so it's just, I'm just, I'm blessed that I got to be part of it.
And it's such a cool scenario. I've always liked the post-apocalypse. Now, I do have a question
for you, though. I was interested. Do you, do you have a bugout plan? Do I have a bugout plan?
Yeah. Like, uh, like if, if the grid goes down, you don't have food for a week and a half.
Like, do you have a bug out plan? Do you have a shelter in place plan? Have you ever thought of that?
Well, yeah, I have thought of that.
And I guess the short answer is no.
Yeah.
No, yeah.
Right.
Yeah, some, my plan is just to eat my neighbors.
I think that's my plan.
Okay.
All right.
You know, that's weird because that's my plan is to eat Chris's neighbors.
That's weird that we have the same plan.
My plan is to eat Chris.
We'll do the wishbone thing and make a wish.
I feel like Chris would make a pretty good meal.
That's true.
I am plumber.
I am a plumber.
That's not what I was saying.
I was not calling you fat.
No.
Oh, you mean I would be able to prepare it well.
That's what you, you fire.
I would, I, I kind of have this.
I mean, I don't think there's anything wrong with having what you call a bugout plan.
But I also, there's certain times where I feel like, well, the ultimate plan is I'm going to trust the Lord to lead me and guide me because I, you know, you can plan for anything, but there are things.
you can't plan for.
And I think that when we're dealing with something like this,
you can drive yourself crazy trying to plan for every eventuality.
And I just have to believe that, you know,
the Lord is with me and he will guide me.
And if it's time to go home to glory, praise the Lord.
Yeah.
To leave this horrible veil of tears.
Praise God.
I'm looking forward to it.
So, oh, no, we just have a moment left.
So in the film, right, what is your character?
His name is Rick Baumgartner.
Baumgartner.
And he has a backstory.
He has a backstory.
He's got a, you know, a future story, too.
So we'll see what happens with him.
No, no, but the backstory, like, who is he?
We've got 30 seconds, but I'm just curious.
He's just, he's a dad.
Yeah, he's a dad.
He's a blue collar worker.
He has a wife and three kids and did not plan for this.
And where does his character, where do you live?
Where does this character live?
The movie takes place in Colorado.
And so we shot it in Utah, but it takes place in Colorado and the Rockies.
And he's living in a kind of lower middle class neighborhood.
And, you know, it starts to get crazy.
And so he's got to get out.
And, you know, there's blockades on the street, all kinds of stuff.
But he's just, the prime motivation is save his family.
Well, my only, my only thing is to say that if people want to see homesteaded Angels
that come first you got to see the Bonhoeffer film make sure you see the Bonhofer film uh and then of course
homestead we will be back with Jared lamaster of the Babylon B. Hey this is Eric Mettaxas for years I've

Welcome back talking to Jared.
The master of the Babylon B.
All right, Jared, what else should we talk about?
You had something you've done a sketch at the Babylon B, a new sketch?
Yeah, we have a new sketch about the wokeification of Dungeons and Dragons.
It's kind of a big subject on Twitter right now, or X.
Yeah, so basically there are rules in the rulebook now
that require you to choose your gender, your pronouns.
You know, they'll even give you pronoun sheets, you know.
Can I just tell you, look, look, Dungeons and Dragons.
I knew you were going to say this.
When I was 17 years old, I was friends with some nerdy people
who were friends with some really, really nerdy people,
and the really, really nerdy people
played Dungeons and Dragons.
And I thought, well, it'll be interesting.
I've heard about it. Let's play it.
It was really nerdy.
And I said, you know, for the rest of my life,
I think I'll skip this.
I'm going to make a point of skipping this
because I get the impression
as soon as somebody brings up Dungeons and Dragons,
like this is ultra-nerd territory.
And it's the territory over the decades
that leads us right to the people
that are so confused or into whatever it is that I'm not into,
that this would be right up the alley of like the ultra-woke lunacy.
I mean, that's, that it seems, when you say that Dungeons and Dragons has gone woke,
I'm thinking, well, you didn't even tell me.
I would have assumed that anybody interested in playing those kinds of, you know,
you'd be surprised.
So the entire gaming world, you know, these are guys that play these board games.
you know, Kyle's big time into the board game thing.
And he literally owns like hundreds of board games.
It's all over his office.
What kind of board games?
We're talking like the really detailed character are like, you know,
role playing board games like Dungeons and Dragons.
See, when you say board games, I think of monopoly.
I know.
Shits and ladders.
Right.
These are the ones that come with the famous, it's a 12-sided dice, right?
A 12-sided dice.
Or a D-20 or like whatever.
incredibly detailed dice and options.
Yeah, and what people don't realize is it's 12 sides because whatever number it lands on,
that's the number of years that you will be without a girlfriend.
That's what they're used for.
It's true.
I've only played Dungeons and Dragons once in my life, too.
I went to my buddy's house and I was like, this is really weird.
But the sketch is very funny.
And Elon Musk, he's been talking about it a lot because, you know,
you have to do something like if you get uncomfortable there's a sign you have to like do this
what is that we're on radio for most people so what is that so for our for our blind signal
for our blind listeners it's it's the x you put an x above your head to let them know that you're
uncomfortable so like say it's some scenario okay then i don't only have the energy and my jacket's a
little tight but picture me doing that right now in this conversation it feels like uh i'm doing it right
So if somebody talks about, say, heteronormative relationships or, for instance, or maybe systems of government that might depict capitalism, you put the X up, I am uncomfortable with this.
You know, we have to be honest sometimes.
We're serious and say, really, because I normally don't step back and make these kind of global observations.
But when you think how this unshirted lunacy has taken over large swaths of the American population,
it's kind of amazing.
People that are just, in the past, we would say they're crazy.
That person's crazy.
The idea that you could be triggered, that you would need to say, I'm uncomfortable,
that you have misgendered me.
There's a whole world of crazy.
I mean, there was this woman, what's her name, Taylor Lawrence or whatever, freaking out,
that everybody should be wearing masks.
And you think we haven't had this in America until recently,
that there are people that are just flat out nuts.
But it's not that we haven't had nutsy people.
We always have.
But they're trying to mainstream it and trying to make it seem like if we don't go along with their lunacy, we're the lunatics.
We've never had that before.
But it really speaks to where we are in the culture.
You got the idea that an EMP could clear things up real quickly, you know, which brings us back to Homestead.
You know?
Excuse me.
There's nothing more clarifying than it.
Yes.
An EMP, please explain that, you know, because people don't know.
An electromagnetic pulse that takes the grid down.
I think all the heteronormative conversations go out the door.
I mean, I'm triggered that it's a straight dragon and not a gay dragon.
Are there gay dragons in the new Dungeons and Dragons, Jerry?
Yeah. What's that?
Are there dragons?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
In the new one.
That's what they're hoping.
They're hoping you choose a gay dragon.
Like that's like the, that's like the main character.
I would say, like, I don't know.
Yeah.
But the gay dragons can't reproduce.
It hits is.
It doesn't free fire.
Yeah, it hisses.
It doesn't fire.
They're going to go extinct.
That's the problem.
Well, seriously, though, it is so interesting that it shows a level of cultural decay that people
can be having these conversations.
Because if you were like, you know, living on the prairie on the frontier, you know,
hunting for your food, trying not to get killed.
by local
Out there raw dog in the air
And you would
In that case
You're not going to be worried
About should I wear a mask
Or what is my gender
And this is kind of where we are
It's a level of decay
In the culture
That prosperity has led us to
So you do wonder
If an EMP
Might be just what we're looking for right now
Yeah well I'm not sure
That would be a really good thing
I feel like
I feel like it would be really hard
on everybody and not many people would survive.
They run these scenarios, literally.
They run these scenarios.
And if there was an EMP that knocked out all of the electronic grid,
you couldn't restart it because EMPs burn everything out.
And something like 99% of the people would die in the first year in civilized society.
On that positive note, Jared LeMaster of the Babylon B.
Yeah.
Thank you.
I hope people will check out Homestead at angel.com, angel.com, angel.com, angel.com.
Lomaster, God bless you.
Bless you.
Thank you for having it.
Folks, welcome back.
I'm talking to Kevin McCullough.
Some of you, now I don't know who, I just say this theoretically, some of you out there listening
to this program, you may know Kevin McCullough by another name.
That name is Votesradamus.
Thank you, Chris Himes.
Votesredamus.
But today, we're just talking to Kevin.
So, Kevin, here's the thing.
You and I were fans of Christian Solidarity International.
They're doing amazing work.
It doesn't really get more amazing than freeing slaves.
If somebody says, I'm against slavery.
How would I free a slave?
Good luck.
I have no idea how many years and the effort that CSI has put into creating the network of people
who can reach out to these Falani herdsmen,
to these radical Muslims who own Christian social.
slaves. They have done that. They are involved in this. All they need is for people listening to this
program to step up and to give them whatever you can give them. Every $250 frees a slave and
sets that person up in a life of freedom. This is an outrageous opportunity for us to live
out our faith. It's just beautiful. As of today, as of today,
we are only at 5% of our goal.
I don't know, Kevin, how to exhort people to step up.
I will give the phone number and the website is metaxis talk.com.
You can see the banner.
But I never know how to move people to do that because it just seems to me like such a
beautiful thing.
I want everyone to participate.
Not everybody can give $250 or $1,000 or whatever, but everybody can participate.
You can give monthly.
which is much easier if you say, well, we'll just do this every month and do it as a family or something.
But Kevin, you have for years been involved with CSI and you know the work they do.
I, there are very few organizations on planet Earth that I say that I genuinely love.
But CSI is one of those organizations.
And the reason that I do is because they enter into a person's life where they are at the lowest point they can possibly be at.
and when they work their miracle that Jesus allows them to work, that person comes to a brand new
place in this life that they never thought they could be. So let me just tell you about Abuk.
A book is a woman who was taken when she was roughly six years old. She and her sister and her mom
and her dad and her two brothers were all victims of a raid on their village in the Sudanese Civil War.
they were harshly rounded up.
Their house was burned in front of them as they were forced to march towards Sudan.
The Sudan, and now we have two countries, Sudan and South Sudan, but it was all one Sudan at the time, but into the north, they were forced to march.
And she witnessed her father and her brothers both be shot and killed in front of her as a six-year-old girl.
she endured seeing her mother be gang raped at the hands of multiple Sudanese Arab jihadis that just took sport in it.
It wasn't anything caring or nice at all.
It was just we're just doing it for fun.
And out of that, she was taken to a village in the north, and then she was immediately sold from one slave master to another slave master.
So she ended up kind of being ping ponged away from her sisters and her mother.
And she spent the next 17 years being ritually raped, abused, physically beaten, verbally accosted,
starved much of the time.
There was nothing more than crumbs for most days.
If she ever spoke up to defend herself, it was more beatings, it was more lashings.
when she reached the age of adulthood,
she was told that in order to be a good Muslim woman,
she had to go down to the little creek that was behind where the Flavestr's house was.
She was given the rusted lid of a tid can,
and she was told to circumcise herself.
And I'm trying to be as family-friendly as I can for those that are listening.
But the idea that she had any autonomy, any sovereignty over her own decisions,
any ability in her own life to speak for herself was robbed from her. And as time went by,
she grew very depressed. She was raped repeatedly by not only the slave master, but the slave
master's son. And in the process became pregnant on more than one occasion. In the process of
having those children, she weaned them, and then the slave master took them from her. So even
the child that God had put inside of her body, she was not allowed.
to have. And then at one point in time, she was out retrieving water on a very hot day,
and a CSI Arab retriever was there. He spotted her. He could kind of tell by looking at her
that she was a slave. He engaged in negotiations with her owner. He was able to secure her release.
She was able to be liberated in a CSI liberation push. She was able to go back to South Sudan,
where the first stop on the way back, they go to a recovery camp where they're given medical
attention, counseling. They're allowed to remember their name. Many of their names have been changed
from their Christian name to their Muslim name. They're allowed to tell their story and write it down,
so they have a history of what they've been through. They're allowed to take the time needed,
to eat, to regain strength, to have medical things done if needed, to talk to counselors,
et cetera. And then after that period of that season, and it's different for almost every slave that
comes in, but after that season is kind of completed, then they're given what's called the bag of hope,
and that's what the $250 provides. But it's not just a bag. It's way more than a bag. Because you get a
year's worth of sorghum grain. You get a year's worth of seed to plant for the following seasons
years' worth of sorghum grain. And then you get everything you need to start your life, tarps, blankets,
utensils to garden and cook and clean and fish with. You get a Bible that's a, uh, that's, uh,
hopefully in your language, you get blankets to keep you cool in the time when the nights get very cold.
There's a whole host of things that you're given.
And not the least of which is, the last thing is a she goat.
Now, many times that she goat can be mated with a male goat back in the village wherever you're relocated at.
And guess what?
Two goats plus time makes more goats.
So over time, you actually develop a little micro enterprise for that person.
And at the end of this, when they're given this,
package, then they are helped to be transported down to wherever their home is in South Sudan.
And the party just begins.
The church, the village, the family members, if there are any left, if not, former slaves
that live in the same area, all come together.
They have, they have, it's like the prodigal son on steroids.
They cannot stop rejoicing that a slave has been released and returned home.
I cannot believe this.
I mean, folks, what more do you need to hear?
Go to metaxis talk.com.
please the phone number you can dial it right now or write it down 888 253 3522
888 253 3522 please folks do this 888 253 2522 or go to metaxis talk dot com
God bless you folks welcome back I'm talking to my friend Kevin McCullough we're talking about CSI
Kevin, you just told us such an amazing story.
And I have to say...
I just told you the first part of it.
There's still more of it.
There's more?
Okay.
Yeah.
It is so moving to me that we get to do something about this, which is why I exhort my audience.
Folks, take advantage of this.
Please take advantage of this.
I don't know what you can give.
I will say it again, anybody that can give big, like $15,000.
which would free 60 slaves, I will, you know, spend the evening with you, have dinner.
We can do this any place around the country.
I just can offer my time and my evenings, which have become insanely rare that I get to do this.
But I will do this.
It's one thing that I can do if anybody wants to give a big gift, tax deductible, $15,000.
Most of us cannot afford that.
But whatever you can afford, this is so beautiful.
$250 does everything.
So Kevin, continue with the story.
You've just got three minutes.
So, Abuk, she went through the entire process.
And as she was being released and she got to the camp and she got her stuff together,
she said to the staff, what about the others?
And as rejoicing as she was and as happy as she was to be back in her homeland and to be headed home to see her family,
she was very, very concerned about the other slaves that were still there.
Now, just up until about two years ago,
CSI had no way of getting a child that had been born in slavery released.
But as of two years ago, we have now had a few dozen of those children located and returned to their mothers to join them in their life in the homeland of South Sudan.
And so that's part of what's going on.
There's another friend of Aboogs that was liberated in the same liberation group as she was.
And she was actually pregnant as she was being released.
and she told the CSI worker at the border camp, she said,
I don't have anything held against the baby that's in my body.
God gave me this baby.
My slave master made me pregnant, but God gave me this baby.
And he's a gift.
And I will spend my life being his good mother if God allows me to have him.
These are the lives that you're stepping into.
These are the women who have had for years, prayers,
secret private prayers that they had to pray in private,
asking God to liberate them, to free them, to give them their lives back.
And many of them say, I didn't know if God would answer my prayer,
but they have been answered and they are being answered.
And before the end of the year, Eric, your listeners can take assurance of this.
There is one more liberation that is just around the corner.
We cannot release details on when it will happen or how it will happen
or anywhere for the safety of those involved.
But there is one coming.
And if you give to Eric's show today, you will be part of that liberation.
And there will be hundreds of slaves liberated.
We're doing this on my show as well.
And it's not nearly as impressive as yours, Eric.
But last year, we came right up to the 5,000th slave human being that my listeners have helped give new lives to.
And if you think about that, and if you think about how much potential every human life has,
to give that gift to someone as a Christmas present this year, you couldn't do a
better thing. So that's why we're all in. The McCullas, we were not perfect at this, but over the last
four years, we've made it our goal to liberate a slave once a month as part of our systematic
giving plan as a household. And again, we're not perfect, but for the majority of those four years,
we've been able to do that every month. And it's one of the best things we've ever done.
Folks, I know that everybody's in a different place, but everybody can do something.
