Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to listen to a man of grace,
sophistication, integrity, and whimsy?
Well, so are we.
But until such a man shows up, please welcome Eric Mattaxas.
Hey there, folks.
Today is April 17th, Wednesday.
And it's kind of a strange day because I have two guests on, both of them from Hawaii, both of them blonde.
I guess that's no surprise it from Hawaii.
Both of them Christian dudes.
Both of them have brand new books out today.
and the second one in hour two is dog the bounty hunter.
No joke.
The full hour, hour two.
In hour one right now, my friend, Jason Jones.
Jason, welcome.
Good to see, Eric Mitz-Axon.
Or I should say welcome back because you've been on the program many times,
but you have a new book out.
The title of your book is,
The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
Okay, I just want to be clear.
I don't want people to confuse the two Hawaiian.
books. One of them... I'm definitely going to buy
dog's book today, though. The book by dog
is called Nine Lives
and County, a bounty hunter's journey to
faith, hope, and redemption.
He's going to be here an hour or two.
You, just to be clear, you're
not a bounty hunter.
Not yet. You're not a bounty hunter.
All right.
I may have a bounty on me. I actually
probably have a few bounties on me.
Well, you,
your book,
The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset,
We have talked about it on the program, but the book wasn't even out yet.
So let's get into it.
What is the Great Reset?
What is the Great Campaign Against the Great Reset?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is important.
So, Jason, have at it.
Well, thank you, Eric.
There have been many great books on The Great Reset that have looked at the economics of the Great Reset, the politics of the Great Reset.
I run an organization that advocates for vulnerable ethnic and religious minorities facing genocide the past three years.
the past three years have been pretty intense.
It was in the midst of that work that it began to crystallize clearly to me what this great reset was
and what a serious threat it was.
I'd say this book is what I would say it's an anthropological look at the great reset.
And what do I mean by that?
When Barack Obama said he wanted to fundamentally transform this country,
to fundamentally transform something as to what?
I learned in philosophy class it's to destroy it.
You cannot change something's nature without destroying it.
Claus Schwab is even more ambitious. He seeks to destroy the remnants of what is left of Western civilization.
And what is the heart? What is the founding principle of the Western civilization with everything good, humane, and decent that we seek to preserve is grounded in this fundamental Christian truth that the human person was created by a loving God, created in love, sustained and held into existence in love.
and we were creating the image and likeness of God,
and that every human being has an inviable, dignity, beauty, and worth.
What the Great Reset seeks to do is to sweep away every last vestige,
every institution from the family to the church
that reminds us of our dignity to impose some bizarre, totalitarian world
where they tell us, with a smile, this is not a conspiracy theory,
They tell us that we will own nothing and be happy.
We will eat cricket meat and we will like it.
And they seek to impose upon the countries of the world transformation that is catastrophic.
There is already a great campaign.
The great campaign against the great reason that comes from C.S. Lewis,
where he said that when Jesus Christ appeared on the scene,
that a great campaign of sabotage was unleashed.
And so we're trying to sabotage the Great Reset.
We seek to sweep it into the dust, bin of history, so that we can leave our posterity, a culture of life, a civilization of love, and a humane world to live in.
There's some of the jacket copy on your book.
I want to read it so that people understand.
It says many have likened the past few years to a dystopian novel or a thriller movie due to unprecedented oppression.
violence, loss of rights, and weaponization of science and technology at the hands of powerful
people with dark intentions. It's coming into ever clearer focus that the unified global
pandemic response, the forced lockdowns, vaccine and mask mandates, fear-filled media coverage,
and restrictions on public worship, stripped citizens of their civil liberties and transformed
our society. We've all lived through it.
we've seen the last few years have been some kind of nightmare, something that we just couldn't have dreamt.
I mean, it was one thing to have Joe Biden steal the election.
I mean, that's a nightmare right there.
But the COVID stuff on the heels of it, it really is something that we've never seen before.
You say, and I agree, that this plan was the architects of this.
were people like Klaus Schwab, George Soros, they wanted to fundamentally transform society.
And of course, the number one enemy is the United States of America because we're this bastion of freedom.
But why would they want to do this?
Again, this is diabolical.
We have to be clear.
This is satanic.
This is an attempt to overturn Christian civilization, to wipe away the vestiges of Christian civilization and to turn it.
into a very, very dark place.
But why would these people want to do it?
What do you suppose is behind what they call the Great Reset?
Well, when you look to understand who are the architects of the Great Reset, our mutual dear friend,
John Smirik, says the only explanation is that it's spiritual, that it's demonic.
You look at the trans agenda, mutilating children.
In this country, 20 years ago, the left was fighting, protesting that we should.
shouldn't circumcise our sons.
Those same people now want to castrate our sons.
You know, who could be the architects of this?
You know, another title, probably a more proper title for this book, would be the body
of Christ versus the mystical body of the Antichrist.
It really is a battle between a Christian civilization and a civilization that is, what I would
say, Antichrist.
And the lynchpin, the ideology, the ideological, the ideological,
enthusiasm, the tactic that pulls together all of the other ideologies and tactics used by
the globalists is victimism. And victimism is the feigning of concern for the vulnerable to amass
wealth and power while emulating the weak. If that is not the ideology of the antichrist,
I don't know what would be a better definition for the ideology of the enemy.
But you can understand, Jason, how people are not where we are. In other words, we know this to be
true and it's horrifying. But when you know it to be true, you say, okay, Lord, what do you want me to
do to fight against it? But if you don't know, if you don't want to know that this is happening,
if you just want to bat it away and say, ah, these guys, they're exaggerating. And then you're not
fighting against it. So there are many, many people who simply cannot bear to think that this is
really happening. And, you know, I've been trying to reach them in my own way. I have a new book
out called Religinalist Christianity, where I say exactly some of the things that you have
just said. This is a spiritual war. We're in an existential crisis for the soul of this nation,
in many ways for the soul of the world. I get into some of the specifics, but not in the same
way that you do in this book. So I want to say again, this book is called The Great Campaign
Against the Great Reset. And what was it that you, that pushed you to write this book? Because,
You know, it's a big thing.
Yeah.
Well, you know, over the past three years, I've spent a lot of time in Ukraine.
Most of my work is in Afghanistan.
I've seen a lot of death and sorrow.
I decided to write this book in Ukraine last June.
I just visited a hospital that was filled with young Ukrainian boys, young men.
It was a former Soviet prison.
It was huge.
And in every room, there was a young man missing arms, legs, their eyes, some of these
young men lost their arms, their legs, and their eyes. And just listening to the cavalier way in which
our quote-unquote elite, we're talking about this war. General Millie said, as I know you're familiar,
that we don't need victory. We just need a 20-year quagmire. So when you look, when you hear
the same elite that are saying, you'll eat crooked meat and like it, you'll own nothing and like it,
and we don't need to win against Russia and Ukraine. We just need a quagmire. Sure, that means a
generation of young Ukrainian men are going to lose their arms, their legs, and their lives,
don't worry about it.
And my work in Afghanistan, my organization is operating in every province in Afghanistan.
Jason, forgive me, going to a hard break.
We'll be right back.
We're talking to Jason Jones.

Welcome back. Talking to my friend Jason Jones.
Jason, sorry to cut you off at the end of the last segment there.
So keep going.
You were talking about what led you to write this book, The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
Yeah, actually, you're the reason for this book.
I can get into that later.
But I was supposed to write another book.
But when I was in Ukraine, it was inspired by you, and you probably don't know that.
But after being in Ukraine last June, I realized that I'm dealing, our elites are vicious and cruel.
In Afghanistan, after our ham-fisted disastrous withdrawal, not only did we thrust 180,000 of our allies.
that we put there headed in news.
We pushed a country into a famine where 50% of Afghans face severe starvation hunger.
And yet, our elite who cared so much when they were trying to draw us into a war seemed to forget the country existed.
When you see the advocates of green energy selling their electric vehicles, selling solar panels to us,
telling we need to put solar panels on our roofs,
well, ignoring the fact that 80% of the cobalt in this world is harvested by children by hand,
in Congo, digging for cobalt, getting sores, getting cancer, dying by the time they're 18.
And I realized this is, even me, Eric, when you hear the rhetoric of the Great Reset, you think they can't mean it.
Then you look at the reforms, the agriculture reforms that they thrust it on to, they attempted to thrust on Europe, but the farmers rebelled that would have pushed the world into famine.
And we've seen these famines before.
We saw Mao's famine.
Tens and tens of millions of Chinese died.
We saw the Holy Damoire, Stalin's famine in Ukraine in the 1930s.
And so the idea that leftist ideologues wouldn't shove the world into a famine the way they shoved Ukraine, China, Russia.
It's hard to believe that people who wear, you know, dress like us and talk like us would advocate things so evil.
Fortunately, the Great Reset is led by the son of a Nazi who talks about his fourth Reich.
I'm sorry, the fourth economic, what is it?
It's not the Fourth Reich.
He has another name for it.
And he has this German accent.
And he dresses like an alien.
So that should make it easier to believe.
We're talking about Klaus Schwab.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Even Klaus Schwab, when you hear him say these things, you're like, well, he can't have that much power.
Well, he can't really mean that.
Can he?
Yes, they mean it.
And they are really indifferent to the human suffering that they'll cause.
And COVID proved it.
The COVID policy, the China, W, the C,
CCP WHO lockdown model caused the greatest famine in the world since World War II.
They were spending too much time writing articles on how we were all suffering with Zoom fatigue
to write about the horrible famines thrust onto Africa, Central and South America and Asia.
So no, they'll cause famines.
They'll start wars.
They'll collapse countries.
And they'll walk away and not worry about the start.
suffering. In fact, in his Christmas address, King Charles said, quote, we shouldn't let the wars and
famines raging in the world distract us from having compassion for the climate. And if that's
Wait a minute. Are you kidding? Are you kidding? King Charles said said that? Yeah, he said that.
It's unbelievable, but it's true. And that's victimism. That is, that is the, that is the perfect
exemplification of what victimism is. The opposite of victimism is represented by Eric Metaxis
and your show, which is radical solidarity with the vulnerable that comes with a very serious
personal cost. I'm fortunate. I was the first person in the United States arrested,
leading an anti-blockdown event on Honolulu, Hawaii. The person that put the handcuffs on me,
the young man that handcuffed me, had been my student 20 years earlier when I taught Christology.
and ethics at a Catholic school in Hawaii.
In my ethics class, my students, one of the films I make movies now and I love movies then,
that I had my students watch was The Sound of Music.
And I would tell my students, don't be Rolf.
Don't be Rolf.
And there I had a student of mine.
Don't be what?
Rolf.
Oh, Rolf.
You got to remind us in The Sound of Music is from 1965.
It's not fresh in everybody's memory.
In 1965, what happens to Rolf in the Sound of Music?
He becomes a Nazi and he becomes the nemesis of the family.
And here this young man handcuffed me.
He didn't want to.
His superior told him to do it.
And I really felt sorry for him.
And I remember the time thinking, Lord, thank you for letting me experience the Nerf war version of tyranny.
I knew that I was just going to be thrown in a police car,
driven to a police station and bailed out by my wife.
I knew that I wouldn't be charged.
I said it to him as they, it's on film.
I was like, you know you're not going to charge me, right?
Because I'm not breaking any laws.
They didn't charge me.
They sent my money back.
But I got to see someone that I knew handcuffed me for not breaking a law because they were swept away by a bizarre enthusiasm.
And I was thrown into a jail cell.
So that's really like the Nerf version of what Jersey Popescu suffered, Dietrich Bonhoeffer suffered, Maximilian Colby suffered.
But yet I got to see someone I knew and.
care about, put handcuffs on me while I wasn't even breaking any laws.
We have to worry because right now the WHO, there is a proposal on the President of the United
States' desk, an agreement, an international agreement, that would cede the authority of
every country in the world to a distant, unelected bureaucracy, the World Health Organization,
that would say the sort of clumsy, informal way in which the whole world shut down last time.
Next time, this will be a formalized process.
The idea that distant unelected bureaucracies led by people from failed states that have ties to tyrants, like the head of the WHO, can somehow compel my local sheriff in the hill country of Texas to arrest me because I want to play baseball with my kids in a park on a Saturday morning because there's some such health crisis is absolutely horrifying.
Stalin never had that kind of power in the Russian Soviet satellite states.
We're about to hand over power to distant, unelected bureaucrats who hold to totalitarian ideology
to give them the type of power that even Stalin never had.
Are you hopeful, I mean, this is the great campaign against the reset, the great reset.
Are you hopeful that we can win?
This is a spiritual war, as you said.
It's a war against the forces of Antichrist.
It's horrifying to say that and mean it, that we are there now.
But what is your sense of where we are and whether we can win?
We will win.
But here's the question.
Will Eric Metaxus and Jason Jones ever get to go back to the shire?
And I'll quote Frodo to Sam.
We'll save the shire, but not for us.
And now it's about our posterity.
I have an open letter to young Americans.
It's called The Adventure of It's in the book, The Adventure of Eros, Love, Piety, and Posterity.
And the reason I wrote this book and the reason why I do my work at the Vulnerable People Project is I want to plant olive trees for my posterity.
So I am hopeful that the Great Reset will be swept away.
We all despicable ideologies of evil are always inevitably swept away because evil is a good.
deprivation and it can outstand.
But how much human suffering, how much starvation, how many wars, how many children
stepping on landmines will happen between now and that time.
So the idea is we will win.
Our great campaign of sabotage will succeed.
So the question is, let's step on the gas pedal and succeed in quick order.
So who are some of the heroes in this?
Who's awake to this?
I would say Steve Bannon is number one, General Flynn.
And who is awake to the war that we're in right now?
Yeah, Steve Bannon, General Flynn, you.
But also all of those Navy SEALs, all of those Green Berets,
all of those fighter pilots who walked away from their careers
because they refused to take the vaccine,
all of those executives that work at places like Bank of America
who refuse to take a knee to, you know, woke ideologies being imposed on them,
all the flight attendants that didn't take the COVID vaccine,
the truckers in Canada, the farmers in Europe, the bishops across the Catholic bishops across Africa,
the freedom fighters in Hong Kong, the Uyghur diaspora standing up against the CCP's genocide,
the Armenians that won't let the ethnic cleansing of Arsac gone forgotten.
There are a lot of heroes out there.
There is a great campaign, and it's really heartening to see.
The reason I wrote this book is because I wanted to kind of present those ordered principles,
those foundational principles that we should always be mindful of,
because there are going to be new enthusiasms, the devil's a judo master.
And we don't want new hateful ideologies, reactionary ideologies popping up from the left or the right.
The great campaign is really the body of Christ.
The great campaign is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
And the reason I wrote this Adventure of Love Open Letter,
the Adventure of Eros Open Letter to the young people,
is they are the true victims.
Their moral imagination has been destroyed by pornography.
The natural awakening of Eros has been robbed from them because of app dating.
They feel hopeless and they feel despair.
There's that great line from Casablanca, would you rather be in love and war or have no love in a time of peace?
And we have a generation that's been robbed of the ability to experience the authentic awakening of romantic love.
And that's at the heart of what the Great Reset hopes to do because it wants to make us lonely and ice,
So in my own letter, actually, when we come back, I want to hear about the open letter,
and I want to let you continue those important thoughts, folks.
Talking to Jason Jones, the book is The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.

his brand new book is the great campaign against the great reset so you were just uh making a point
uh keep going yeah i
I wrote this open letter and I put it in the front of the book because for that
the very reason for that question you asked, I want to give people hope, especially
young people.
So what is the path out of the Great Reset for them?
It's simple but not easy.
It's love.
Love God.
Love your parents.
Preserve your moral imagination from pornography.
Nurture your moral imagination so you can experience eros, erotic, and romantic love
in the sacrament of marriage.
Fall in love.
with your spouse, love and honor your children, order your life to the service of the common good of your community and your posterity.
This is the way out.
What a great adventure.
This isn't a race war.
This isn't a class war.
This isn't driven by hatred.
The way out of the great reset is love.
Romantic love.
God loves us.
I used the adventure of Eros for a reason.
Because in Jewish scripture, the language that is used of God's love for us is Eros, the song of Solomon.
This is what being a human is all about.
And what is at the heart of what is going to make young people susceptible to the ideological enthusiasms of the Great Reset and ideologies that will be just as virulent that will be reacting to Great Reset?
What is the antidote to that?
A proper Christian understanding of the human person.
And we were made to know and love God.
We were made to love each other.
It is not natural or normal to want to kill, maim, hurt, and oppressed.
to lock up and enslave other human beings.
That is not natural.
That is not normal.
That is inhumane.
The way out of the Great Reset,
the adventure for young people
that's going to monopolize most of their life
is an adventure of love.
Well, what better adventure to be on?
That's the greatest adventure to be on.
And that, in fact, is what they're called to,
and that's the way out of this great reset.
In the book, you say that one of the things you will learn
is the secret to living the gospel
and avoiding cooperating with each.
evil. Talk about that. Yeah, the heart of that is victimism. So victimism, this feigning concern for the
vulnerable, for wealth and power, prestige. Now, by the way, this is what woke is, okay? This is BLM.
They pretend, oh, we care about race. Total baloney. They used it to play on white guilt and to get money.
and they didn't, you know, they don't actually care about actual racism and about actual, they don't care about that.
But they use that as a concept.
You get the same thing with the trans lunacy, basically.
It's about, oh, these people, we've got to care about them.
We've got to make them.
Joe Biden declared resurrection Sunday, Easter Sunday, the trans day of visibility.
I mean, what an offense against people of faith in this country.
We've never seen anything like it.
And I guess I want to say, Jason, before we go too far, the Biden administration is in bed with the evil actors like Klaus Schwab with the globalists, with the Chinese Communist Party.
The Democrats are all in on this stuff.
That's what staggers me is that we have people within the United States of America working to make this happen.
And of course, many rhinos as well.
Is it not astounding to you how many evangelical Christians and how many of your fellow Catholics are on the wrong side of this?
I mean, because here we're talking about the gospel, we're talking about living out our faith, but we have a lot of people in the church who are on the wrong side of this.
Yeah, it's not astounding to me because I understand that the spirit of the ages, as Renee Gerard wrote, is all powerful with the exception of the Holy Spirit.
And so if we're not swept away by the spirit of the age, if we're not taking a knee before the gods of the city, it's because of God's grace.
And my heart breaks for them, and I get angry, especially in my chapter on victimism.
I'm a Catholic, but I go in depth.
I call Pope Francis the victimist pope because the response to victimism is authentic solidarity.
So if I care about migrants, there's a brilliant new ad campaign out by Catholic vote called
Defend the vulnerable, secure the border.
If I really care about migrants, I will work to secure the border
and have a mandatory, easy-to-use workplace verification system
because I don't want my country resting on the exploitation of countless millions of migrants.
I don't want children dropping dead from fentanyl poisoning.
I don't want extremists blowing up shopping malls in suburbs of Chicago.
And if I do that, I'll be called racist and I'll be called hateful and I'll be called a bigot.
But what I say to that is I would rather be called hateful than to be hateful.
And to advocate for open borders is to advocate for sexual exploitation, economic exploitation, children dropping dead and paving the way for extremists to shoot up schools.
And so I would rather be called hateful than to be hateful.
And so the response to victimism is solidarity.
But solidarity takes real courage.
When you stand with the vulnerable, you become as vulnerable as they are.
When you kneel down next to a woman caught in the act of adultery and they're standing in front of you are 30 or 40 men with rocks, odds are you're going to be hit with rocks.
When I led that first protest during the first day of the COVID lockdown, it wasn't for free speech or the right to assemble.
I had written an article with John's Merrick called flatten the hunger curve.
And my concern was if we followed the CCP WHO model, we would create a famine killing the most vulnerable people in the world.
And that's, in fact, what we did.
And so I ended up in a jail cell.
Well, I could have, like the present governor of Hawaii, who was not a wealthy man before COVID,
but as a doctor partnered in all these sort of COVID testing schemes, and now as a very wealthy man.
So I could have been a victimist, opened up COVID testing sites.
I remember people trying to lure me into all these N95 masks schemes to import masks and sell masks.
I could have done all that and made a lot of money, but rather, I would rather, by God's grace,
advocate for my children, my neighbors, and the world's poor that suffer on the edge of famine,
and we'll spend a couple of hours in a jail cell.
We've got to go to a break talking to Jason Jones, brand new book, The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.

Three-star general, Michael J. Flynn, head of the Pentagon Intelligence Agency,
knew all the government's dirty secrets.
He was one of the most respected generals in the military.
Flynn knew what the intel world had been up to.
He understood its funding.
He ordered the first audit of the use of contractors.
This set off alarm bells.

They took my assessment and they wanted me to change it.
I was like, I'm not changing it.
They had to get rid of Flynn.

I continue my conversation with Jason Jones.
We're talking about his brand new book.
It is called The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
What do you say in this book, Jason, that hasn't been said in other books?
I mean, this is, you do a deep dive.
There's a lot in this book.
You know, I think the adventure of Eros is unique, and it comes from a lot of my wrestling
and communicating with young, disaffected kids on the right who are being lured away from
the gospel of Jesus Christ to sort of Nietzschean, godless, right reactionary ideologies.
I think that's unique.
But I think the most important chapter is the chapter on victimism, but I'm really drawing on the
writings of Renee Gerard and Gil Bailey. And I think Gil Bailey is, to me, not to, you know,
embarrass you, but, you know, next to, you know, Gil Bailey and you and are two of the most important
thinkers alive today. René Gerard, I think, was the most important thinker of the past 100 years.
And my chapter really draws on their writing. And so I think it's the most important chapter.
In fact, I told my wife, she's like, what's your goal with this book? I said my goal is that
the word victimism and Renee Gerard's definition of victimism ends up in the dictionary.
Because like gaslighting, once people know that every poison is being sold to us through the concern for the vulnerable, every poison out there is being sold to us with concern for the vulnerable.
But once we can see it for what it is, victimism, look at green energy, quote unquote, green energy.
You know, we know that cobalt comes from children harvesting for coal bolt by hand in Congo.
So don't sing me a song about your concern for the common good.
Don't talk to me about social justice when you're driving around in a vehicle and foisting on me a vehicle that in every green vehicle, quote unquote green vehicle in the world, there is cobalt from mines owned by the CCP that has child labor as young as six working to death, literally to death, in those mines.
Once people understand, Klaus Schwab said he fundamentally wants to control how energy is distributed.
He fundamentally wants to change how food is distributed.
Well, they want coal eliminated by 2030.
Well, if that were true, and they use the language of concern for our posterity,
which they don't care about at all, because they're concerned so much about carbon.
But for example, my organization of the Vulnerable People Project,
as you know, we've distributed 100 million hours of heat through coal distributions
to the poorest people in the world and the coal.
oldest places in the world over the past three years. It started in Afghanistan where we're bringing
coal to the widows and orphans of our allies who are killed in action to help them survive the
winters. I actually get attacked by these hardcore environmentalists for bringing coal over
mountain passes on donkeys to the poorest people in the world who use just a little bit of coal
per family to survive the winter. But that's victimism, okay? And once the world, once
the world understands what victimism is, we'll be liberated from it.
You don't have the word, you can't hold to the concept.
And Renee Gerard blessed us with this gift, with this understanding of victimism and where it comes from.
And where it comes from is it's really a clever technique in a world that is accepted gospel values.
In a world where you cannot openly say, let's emulate the week.
You cannot say that.
So it's an ideological response to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I was going to say it's another term that's appropriate here is virtue signaling, right?
In other words, the idea is that I pretend, I fain caring for good things, right?
But the reality is, I don't.
So it's like saying like, oh, I care about racial justice.
I care about whatever.
You say these things and you're applauded, you know, by the woke crowd, but you actually don't care about these things.
Or, to put it another way, your actions are.
are harming people, but you get credit for virtue signaling, for pretending to be on the right
side of these issues. And so people are less concerned with actual virtue than with virtue
signaling. If I can get people to believe that I care by posting a black square on my
social media or whatever it is, and it is diabolical because it's a subversion or an inversion
of actual virtue. Yeah, I think virtue signaling is intimately related to victimism,
The victimism is promulgated by those who are actually gaining wealth and power.
Virtue signaling is a technique that people use so that the angel of death passes over them.
It's you're just putting blood on your door to the mob.
Pass over this house.
Leave me alone.
Okay.
No hate lives here.
You know, you put the, hate doesn't live here yard signs.
What is that?
What is that?
Well, it's like, it's telling the angel of death.
It's telling the mob.
It's telling the mob, leave me alone.
Leave me alone.
to be alone. And that's why it takes courage to stand.
It's interesting because there's a lot of overlap in my book, Religionals, Christianity.
I talked to two chapters on the spirit behind cancel culture.
And it's the same thing.
You've got this mob.
It's this demonic force looking to pick people off.
And the right thing to do is to stand bravely against it.
But what many people do is they say, I don't want any trouble.
So what do I need to do to appease the spirit?
What can I give to this evil spirit so it leaves me alone and goes and bothers somebody else?
And you see this all through history.
You saw it in the French Revolution.
You saw it in the Nazi times and the Bolshevik Revolution and the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
In other words, you could either be a hero and stand against evil or you could say,
I'm going to pass the buck and I'm going to do what I need to do so they don't bother me.
But of course, they will eventually bother you.
Eventually they will come for you.
And that gets to the Niemuller poem.
but it's a fascinating thing that you can actually understand this.
This is not some great mystery about how this works.
And so the question is, will each of us be heroic in the moment we get to be heroic,
or will we be somebody who enables the mob to keep going?
That's basically what you're talking about, it seems to me.
Yeah, and that's why when you think of our generation,
when I say we saved the Shire, but not for us.
If it was for me, I have seven children, three grandchildren.
If it was just me, I might be living above a bar.
in Costa Rica. Maybe I'd be a cabana boy at, you know, a resort in Guam, taking tourists scuba diving.
But the reality is I'm going to have children and grandchildren. I was blessed in my family to have a
family tree that went back to the 18th century. And I would read that book. And I would read about
my ancestors. Some of them were leading abolitionists, union soldiers during the Civil War.
My first ancestor was an indentured servant that came to the United States and in Maryland.
And as a boy, I would look at this family tree. And I would think,
I wish, I hope one day that I can be in this book, and there will be a great, great grandchild of mine reading my page in the book, saying, I wish I could be like this Jason Jones, my ancestor.
We really have to be thoughtful to our posterity. We must order our lives to our posterity because we are the most blessed people on earth. Why? Because our ancestors thought about us.
In my favorite film, The Searchers, the John Wayne film, that Scandinavian old farmer lady, she said, so, in.
They said, this Texas is a horrible place.
Why are we here?
And she said, it's going to be a beautiful place.
That's one of the greatest movies.
When we come back, I want to talk to you about that.
Talking to Jason Jones, the book is The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
In Hour 2, Dog, the Bounty Hunter.
Welcome back in hour two.
In a few minutes, I'm going to have a conversation with Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Absolutely fascinating, fascinating.
Right now I conclude my conversation with my friend Jason Jones.
your book is called The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
You just said something beautiful.
One of the greatest movies ever, The Searchers, with John Wayne, directed by John Ford.
In that film, say again what you said because it's beautiful.
The old Scandinavian farmer wife, she said, they're just confetching about how horrible Texas is.
She said, and she said the husband was confetching, and the wife said,
this is going to be a beautiful place to live one day, but first we're going to have to have.
to plant our bones in the soil. And so we have to plant our bones in the soil, our tears and our
blood and our sweat. Our ancestors thought about us. Our founding fathers would write to us and our
posterity, for us and our posterity, for us and our posterity. And we're acting like, thank you,
okay, for us. You meant for us. We're here. We've arrived. No, for us and for our posterity.
I'm 52. I'm a grandfather.
Enough enough enough about me.
I pray for the grace from now until my last breath.
I'm ordered to my posterity to honor the sacrifice of my ancestors by the grace of God
and to continue to have a society that makes it easy to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is funny when you think about the idea that, you know, maybe we got this idea that we're supposed to have a nice life.
But the Lord has allowed us to be alive at a time of war.
We're in a tremendous spiritual war, a political war and ideological war.
And the only question is, where do you stand, folks?
Are you going to let it pass you by, let other people fight?
Or are you going to allow God to use you for his purposes in this great adventure?
There's something beautiful about allowing God to use you for his purpose.
And if you don't stand against the evil, it's all around us.
If you do nothing, if you say, well, I just want to have my nice life, you're participating
in the evil.
You're complicit with the evil.
And that's the point.
There is no neutral ground.
Either you're complicit with the evil or you're standing against it.
And, you know, Jason, I know we've just got a minute left here, but I hope people will
buy your book, The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset, and get excited about what it means
to live where God put you to live, to stand, to do the right thing.
When I think of the pioneers in this country, how tough it was.
But these were noble people.
These were beautiful human beings that sacrificed tremendously.
We can hardly imagine how tough life was.
But we don't want an easy life.
We want the life that God called us to live.
And he called us to live now and to do what he has called us,
to do in the midst of this. So I know there are many Christians. I've debated with some of them
who just, they kind of act like, oh, this is just in your mind. But what we're talking about is real.
We have the Biden administration is complicit with the globalists and with the communist Chinese,
evil, evil actors. Folks, you've got to be awake to this and you've got to stand against it.
30 seconds left, Jason Jones. What's on your mind?
Well, first of all, Eric, I just, I want to thank you. I want to thank you for that.
you know, by God's grace, those noble ancestors of ours, that's our family.
That's who we are.
We are them.
I don't want to live an easy life.
I want to live a beautiful life.
But, you know, I go to war zones.
I serve vulnerable communities.
As hard as I try to live a hard life, it's kind of easy.
It's kind of beautiful.
You know, it's not that bad.
We throw ourselves a pity party, but it's going to be hell on earth for our ancestors, for our posterity.
So let's take advantage of the grace and of the privileges that we have.
and put our bones in the earth, as that old lady said, and the searchers,
so that our posterity can live beautiful lives the way we have been given the privilege by our ancestors to live beautiful lives.
Jason Jones.
Thank you. Forgive me. We're out of time. The book is The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset.
God bless you, my friend.
Thank you, Eric.
