Welcome to the Eric Metaxus show.
I shouldn't tell you this, but Eric hired someone who sounds just like him to host today's show.
But since I'm the announcer, they told me, so I'm telling you, don't be fun.
The real Eric's in jail.
Hey there, folks.
Jenny Corn serves as the senior advisor of the National Faith Advisory Board.
She served in two presidential administrations, but I only know her in the Trump administration,
and she's in the studio right now.
Jenny, welcome.
Thank you so much for having me.
Great to have you in the studio.
Listen, I want to talk to you about a lot of stuff.
But first of all, in case anybody's wondering, yesterday,
there was an assassination attempt on President Trump.
The second, what kind of a world are we living in?
What is happening?
Where were you when that you heard about this?
I was on an airplane flying here to New York.
But let me say first, thank God he's okay.
Thank God that the Secret Service agent saw that there was a gun
and there was things out in the bushes.
But here's the other thing.
This is ridiculous.
We know what kind of threats President Trump is under.
There should be way more secret service.
If you heard the sheriff in Palm Beach, he said, well, he doesn't have the same kind of security that the president has.
Well, he needs that kind of security and he needs it now.
Oh, except they want him dead.
This is intentional.
That's the point.
They want him dead.
And any legalism they can use as an excuse, oh, well, he's not the sitting president.
Oh, well, they will do anything they can.
And I think, look, most Americans are waking up to the fact that this is not just some lone wolves.
this is clearly a level of madness.
There's just no doubt about it.
Right.
Well, killing a candidate is the biggest threat to democracy that we possibly can, that we can have, right?
And if you look at, and I think you've been there, too, the Trump National Golf Course, I've been there many times.
Where the golf club is, and then where this gentleman, or not gentleman, where this killer was,
he had to have scoped out the venue and knew where he was.
It's amazing that he could get to that spot without anybody noticing him,
with a gun with all the paraphernalia that he had.
You know, I said this earlier.
There's no doubt
that there's something, fishy
is a very mild term.
But, you know, if you or I said,
oh, I'd like to kill Trump,
how would we know where he is?
How does this guy find out where he is?
There's something that has to be uncovered
because it's one thing if you know,
oh, you know, he's going to be in a motorcade, oh, he's going to be at a rally.
He's playing golf.
Right.
How do we know where he is going to be playing golf?
In fact, I think my wife, Suzanne, said that it was a last-minute decision.
Like this hadn't even been on his schedule.
He just decided to go out.
So that's what's really creepy is that we have actors in the deep state that we know would love him to be killed
because they see him as a quote-unquote threat to,
democracy, which of course is insane. It's lunatic. But they believe that. They love to see him killed. And so
whatever they can do, if it's to give him weak secret service, incompetent secret service,
if it's to give him less protection, whatever it is that they can do. But I think it goes beyond that.
I think that somehow both of these would-be murderers were enabled. And the question is who enabled them.
And I think that's only God can reveal that because I really, I really, I really,
think we have, you know, we have bad actors who don't want to reveal this kind of stuff.
Somebody was saying even that this should be turned over to Florida, that, you know, that DeSantis
obviously would be a better bet to find out what happened.
Well, DeSantis is doing his own investigation, which I think is a really good idea.
I think the sheriff going out right at the beginning was a great idea as well, because we got
unfettered information right out the gate, which I think Secret Service would have never told us
that he didn't get the level of security as a president did.
And let's just think about this for a step back a second.
He's a human being.
He's got a family.
He's got a wife.
He's got kids.
When Melania came out the other day and said, talking about Butler, Pennsylvania and saying
that there's more to the story, Don Lemon goes out and makes fun of her.
Can you imagine that?
Your husband almost gets killed and someone's making fun of you for saying there's got to be more to the truth that somebody could get on a roof and less than 200 yards away and take a clean shot at the former president of the United States.
and the candidate for president of the United States, it's crazy.
Well, I think the problem that the deep state has that they did not have in 1963 when they murdered JFK is we have social media, for one thing.
We have an infinite number of people communicating via social media.
So when this video pops up that BlackRock, I don't know who puts up with each of the videos had one of these would-be killers in it.
Is this a coincidence, folks?
Is this, I mean, again, I put this on my X-Feed, but I thought, this is so insane.
But it wouldn't happen if you didn't have a million eyes and ears, people scouring, looking at stuff and saying, hey, there he is.
Let's put this video out.
So you have that happening.
But you also have a citizenry that today is awakened to the evil that is behind the scenes.
In 1963, if somebody says, oh, it was a lone guy, you know, like some Russian asset, they wanted to kill JFK, whatever.
People are inclined to believe that.
Today, we have enough information.
We've become smarter.
Let's just say that.
We're more educated about how things work and what's going on, where in 1963 they could pull that off.
And they could shut it down with the Warren Commission.
It's kind of funny because when I talk in my book about Martin Luther, I say that Luther existed 100 years before.
Jan Hus said exactly what Luther was saying.
But the deep state of that time, which of course was the...
It's not really just the Catholic Church folks.
We're talking about the power structure.
They had the ability to crush dissent.
A hundred years later, you have the invention of the printing press.
Now they can't do it because it's like it gets out and everybody's talking about it.
You have something very similar right now happening that they used to be able to crush dissent.
They used to be able to put it to bed in five minutes.
They did it with the Warren Commission.
They did it.
They can't do it anymore.
No, they cannot.
And it's funny because, as I said, I was on the plane when I saw the news, I was on X.
And thank goodness for Elon Musk buying Twitter X, that is X now.
Because before where I thought, you know, social media is the demise of our communities.
I am now saying, no, this is the flashlight.
This is the light that's shedding truth on what's happening because I literally posted when I saw it,
and I always do my homework just to see, is this a fake story, is a real story.
I posted it out, very tasteful post of like, this is what happened in factual terms.
I started getting all the hate.
This is fake news.
This is a stage thing.
This was gang members in West Palm Beach, because you know those very dangerous gang members in West Palm Beach.
And so then when the sheriff came out and actually did the press conference, I put that on X and said,
for all of those people who said fake news, look at what's real.
So we cannot take this.
I think people just have devalued life so much that it doesn't matter.
You've got people on the other side who are cheering the fact that the second assassination,
happen, it's ridiculous. But you're right. With social media, with people being their own
sort of journalists, they're coming out and discovering information that the mainstream media
is not going to share with you. Well, I want to talk to you about this all day long, but since we
have limited time and you are the heading up the National Faith Advisory Board with our friend,
Pastor Paula White, let's talk about that because most people might not be familiar with it.
Sure. So I used to work, as you said, I used to work for President Trump.
the White House. I was there, one of like 12 people that lasted from the very first day to the
very last day, and I have the scars to prove it. But one of the things that I was in charge of...
Did Emma Rosa last for the whole four years? She did not. No, really? Yes, she was less than a year.
Yeah, she was, oh, believe me, I'm being sarcastic. I mean, no, there were, yeah. So one of the,
honors I had, so I was in the Office of Public Liaison, and so we handled all the communities,
the faith community, veterans, Hispanic, small business for the president. So I got the great
greatest job, working with the people to formulate the best policy, which we all know, President
Trump had so many amazing accomplishments. But one of the things that he created was the White House
Faith and Opportunity Initiative. And as you said, with Pastor Paula White, his personal pastor
for the last 24 years and now the President of National Faith Advisory Board. And what we did
was we grew this amazing coalition to when we were kicked out of the White House. I went to her
and I said, we cannot leave this coalition to go away. We built up over
35,000 people of every denomination from every ethnic background and from every state who are all
rowing in the same direction under religious freedom. And so we created the National Faith Advisory
Board, which is basically the outside of the White House, but only faith organization born out of the
White House. And we have over, like I said, over 35,000 members now who represent with their TV
shows, radio shows, you're a supporter of ours, 45 million people. And so when we get a message out
about what is happening policy-wise, our people are activated.
And so we're very excited about this endeavor.
I will be right back more with Jenny Corn that's spelled with a K,
National Faith Advisory Board.
Senior Advisor, don't go away.

Hey there, hi there, ho there.
I am Eric Metaxis.
This is the Eric Mtaxas show, and I'm sitting here with my friend Jenny Korn,
who's the senior advisor of the National Faith Advisory Board.
Many people are unaware that there is something called the National Faith Advisory Board.
I've been involved with you throughout the first Trump administration, and more recently, you've kept it going.
You were talking about that.
A lot of people aren't aware, again, when you listen to elite media, that many people of faith, of course, are extremely pro-Trump.
They love what he did.
And you have, I guess, certain elites.
They're in the minority, but they really hate Trump.
they are elitists, they're lost in every way,
who would give you the impression that principled Christians would be against Trump
and for, I don't know, communist globalism, I guess, or nothing.
It's a courageous thing to do, Jenny, what you and Paula White have been doing.
What do you see in the years ahead?
I mean, this election is everything.
Right.
Now, well, I love this country.
I mean, this country is everything to me.
My mom came from Mexico.
They were very poor.
My grandparents barely had elementary school education.
And then they trekked from Guadalajara to Tijuana.
And my grandfather came over on the Bracero program and worked for three years before he could bring everybody over to San Diego.
And my mom says the most beautiful thing to her was the American flag waving against the San Diego blue sky.
How excited she was that her shoes didn't get dirty.
And I said, Mom, what do you mean?
your shoes didn't get dirty. She said, because the streets are paved and the sidewalks are paved.
And so my dad, born in Brooklyn, to a Jewish family. And so I think that's why I was so good at doing
coalitions. I grew up with a Jewish dad and a Roman Catholic mother. And only one in my neighborhood
who knew what chicken noodle soup and matzo bowl soup were. But it allowed me to be able to talk to
many people. And so when you say that Christians, a lot of Christians support President Trump,
they supported his policies, yes, because he loves the church. He loves people of faith,
and he loves people of all faith. And it's not just Christians. When we were at the White House,
we had an amazing coalition of Christians, Catholics, Jewish, Muslims, because of religious
freedom. And so that's why they choose. People of faith choose President Trump because of the policies.
And, you know, you kind of alluded to, like, why do people in the church don't get involved?
And I know you talk about that a lot with your letter to the American Church.
Politics is a dirty word to a lot of people.
But let me share this with you.
Politics matters because policy matters.
And policy matters because people matter.
Those policies directly affect the people.
So you're telling me that people of faith sitting in the pews should just sit back and say,
well, I don't want to get involved in politics.
Well, everything else is.
dictating their life. Every elected official is dictating their life. The church should have a say
in who their elected officials are. I mean, I would even go past that. In other words, let's say
you're such a wonderful martyr that you don't care about anything in your life. Well, good for you.
What about your neighbor? You are commanded by God to love your neighbor. If you do not advocate
for your neighbor, if you do not vote for people that are going to institute policies that are
going to bless your neighbor, you're selfish, and you're no kind of
Christian, you're a hypocrite. And I think that there are many, many Christians that don't vote or that
don't care. I think we have tons of pastors that they pretend that for whom you vote is irrelevant.
It has never been more relevant. It's always been relevant, but it has never been more relevant. I have
said publicly, if Kamala Harris and Tim Walts get in, this is a warning, folks. This is a warning
to you and whatever cowardly pastor you're tithing to, they're going to come after the church.
It's just like when Hitler got power.
Initially, he couldn't do anything.
So he bided his time to keep the church stupid, to keep the church silent, to keep the church
sleeping so that he could get more and more and more power.
And then when he had the power, he crushed the church.
So if you think you're going to get a pass, your church is still going to get to talk about
whatever you think is important, no, you won't.
They will come after you the way they came after, you know, the little old ladies who are wandering through the Capitol taking selfies.
They're going to come after you because they can.
And we have to understand that this is an existential threat to America.
And so they keep saying that Trump's a threat to democracy.
Of course, they're saying exactly the opposite.
Right.
That what we're facing right now is a threat to the church, to genuine democracy, to America.
And, you know, you and I know that it is the job of the church to speak.
speak on these issues. I mean, if slavery were on the ballot and you say, well, we don't,
our church doesn't take a position on slavery, you'd say, what? Like, are you a Christian?
And they say, well, that's political. Yeah, it's political. All these things are political. And these
things affect human beings. And if your pastor's taking a pass on this, your church is taking a pass,
I want to know why you think you're any different than the German pastors that took a pass on Hitler.
Because in the beginning, they really didn't think it could go wrong, but they found out pretty
quickly. Well, for those who don't want to get involved, politics is just sort of a ruse to say,
I don't want to get involved. When it's really the policy, ask people in Iran or Syria,
the Christians in those countries, whether or not the elected officials matter to who they are.
And so that's why we've taken action. That's why National Faith Advisory Board is, we're not
just an organization that sits back. We are doing a tour all over the country. And so we educate,
equip, and mobilize pastors to educate their congregation, to do voter registration and to get
out the vote. Now, we're not going to tell them who to vote for, but we give them the options.
Here's who the candidates are. Here's where the policies are. And we say it is our civic duty to get
out. Again, we can't just sit by and let this happen. There's 384,000 houses of worship in this country,
but only 25 to 35 percent of each of those, in general, are registered to vote. 25 million Christians
opted out of an election. Can you imagine the power of people of faith to come together and
elect people who reflect their values.
Well, this is what's so astonishing is that, I mean, the reason I wrote letter to the American
Church, and by the way, folks, you can see the film, go to letter to the American church.
The reason I wrote it was because I realized exactly what you just said.
It is the guilt for what happened in Germany 100% lies with the church.
That's a scary thing.
The guilt, the satanic evil that came out, the death camps, all of that was simply because the church
said, we don't want to get involved. That's too political. Romans 13. We're just going to sit back.
They sat back and allowed hell to be unleashed. And in America today, it is precisely the same thing.
You just quoted statistics that many so-called Christians somehow think that they get a religious carve out.
There's a third way. They could just sit on the fence. And I keep saying, the devil owns the fence.
You've been fooled into thinking you're neutral. And your neighbors are going to suffer. Who's going to suffer? The poor are going to suffer.
If you care about the poor, if you care about marginalized communities, quote-unquote,
you need to be voting for people who have policies that actually care about them.
I mean, you know, you talk about your family coming from Mexico.
Who wouldn't want to come to America?
Right.
But we've had a system that your mother, my parents, came here from places that didn't have what we have here.
They came here legally, and they love America, and they taught us to love America.
We have people coming across the border right now that are,
completely unvetted, and we have an administration right now, and Kamala Harris and Tim Walts would
expand this. They don't seem to care about the sex trafficking, that children are being raped.
If you care about anything, you have to care about that, and that's policy.
Well, the worst part of that is that the media is covering it up. There's only a few media outlets
who are actually talking about what's happening at the border, which is ridiculous. Now, there
are some people, as you said, who are not courageous or you would say cowardly, but I will tell you,
we're seeing a lot of amazing things in that people who just don't know, how do I get involved?
What does that look like?
What should I do?
And so we have lists of churches that we're just cold calling churches and asking the pastor to be educated
and join us in National Faith Advisory Board.
And I'm going to tell you that the majority are saying yes.
So that's a really good thing because they just don't know what to do.
How do we do it?
What do I talk about?
And so we have talking points at National Faith Advisory Board.
And we also have something for those who may be a little bit afraid called a pastor's bill of rights.
And so we put together with First Liberty Institute, 10 of the Pastors Bill of Rights,
it basically tells pastors what you're allowed to do.
So yes, you're allowed to do voter registration.
Yes, you're allowed to talk about policy.
Yes, you're allowed to have the freedom of speech, a freedom to assemble.
There are so many things you can do.
and so we are educating those pastors on what they can do.
So what is the website for people to find everything you just said?
Yes. National Faith Advisory Board.org.
I know that's long, but National Faith Advisory Board.
Dot org.
National faith advisory board.org.
It's so funny, Jenny, because we're saying the same things.
Like, folks, if you're involved in a church that is not doing anything, you're part of the problem.
This is how evil takes over.
And it's an amazing thing in a country like this that we've been.
so spoiled that people kind of think, like, well, how bad can it get? They have no idea.
Well, look what it's already doing now. Look what happened in COVID. COVID was the perfect
opportunity for those who wanted to close down the church to close down the church. And then it was
President Trump who said, I want these churches open. How do we get these churches to be open and to
not do what Gavin Newsom did in California, which is to go as far as to say you couldn't even have
a Bible study with 10 people in your home? What about the case with, uh, I'd, uh,
Coach Kennedy, where he literally just kneeled on a football field to pray.
Didn't ask anybody else to do it, but they wanted to do it.
Eight years, and the Supreme Court finally said, yes, he's allowed to sit and pray.
Think about that for a minute, Eric.
We had to get the Supreme Court to get involved to say, could a man pray on a football field?
This is where we are, folks.
Get involved.
If you're part of a church that's not involved, shame on you.
Go to another church.
Jenny Corn.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Eric. Final segment with Jenny Corne, who's senior advisor of the National Faith Advisory Board.
Jenny, you were just saying that if you go there to National Faith Advisory Board.org,
you have a list of things that pastors can and can't do.
It has been my understanding that the reason many pastors are scared is because they have been fooled into thinking that if they say X or Y or Z,
they'll get in trouble.
Right.
And I just want to say, first of all, ladies and gentlemen, that's called cowardice.
Okay?
You shouldn't be so worried about getting in trouble.
You should be worried about doing what's right by your flock, by God.
But you are at least in this document at National Faith Advisory Board.org, you're spelling out what they can and can't do.
So that, folks, I say this to people.
Give the pastor a copy of my book, Letter to the American Church.
Print out National Faith Advisory Board.org.
print out this page of pastor's bill of rights hand it to your pastor if you don't take action on
this stuff in in your churches again i wonder why you're there because people say oh our pastor
he doesn't like to talk about this well why do you go to that church i mean i want to put this on
people that you're guilty if you are promoting this kind of i don't know what you can call it cowardice
i just call it uh ignorance of of the reality in which we live i mean you were talking about the
border before. Talk about that.
The border is insane right now. The fact
that the media has not really reported
what's going on and the fact that
people aren't outraged about it.
I have an article
that I wrote on at Jenny S.
Corn on my X account
on why we should be outraged
on the border. People can follow you on X. Where is
it? Jenny S. K-O-N.
Jenny S. Like in Sam?
Yes. K-O-R-N. Jenny S.
Corn. I have an article.
Yes.
That says why we should be outraged about what's happening at the border.
10 million immigrants, migrants have come through the border illegally that we know of.
You compare that to any other president.
It's four or five times more than we had before.
President Trump had a very secure border.
He was building a wall.
He had technology for border patrol agents to be able to scour that.
He had the title 42 in place.
He had a remain in Mexico.
policy. So all of these policies that were in place, we had a secure border. The most he had was
400,000 come through in 2019. That's the most. Compare that. And that's when he first got in
office, folks. He got an office in the end of January 2019. So he immediately puts this stuff in
place. And we now have, and look, let's be honest. We know there are a lot of good people that
want to come to America. And if you open the door, they're going to come. Okay, that's one problem
because how do we deal with them? But what about every,
Every evil actor, do we think President Xi of China is not sending military age men?
Do we think ISIS and company are not sending me?
Why wouldn't you?
If the door is open, you'll do anything to get an advantage.
And look, let's talk about the violent drug cartels.
These are some of the most bloodthirsty monsters that have ever existed on planet Earth.
They will rape children.
They will murder children.
Kamala Harris doesn't care.
I mean, this is the bottom line.
Kamala Harris doesn't care.
She pretends it's a non-problem.
It's not her problem.
She wants to get power.
How can you not take a stand on this kind of thing?
I think does anybody not, do you not have a heart that you care about the children and women that are being used and abused in this way?
I can only surmise the same thing that they don't care, that Biden Harris doesn't care,
because otherwise you would do something about it.
What they did was they dismantled every.
single policy President Trump had in place
to keep a secure border. I've been to the border
about three times now. National Faith Advisory
Board takes pastors to go
see what's actually happening at the border
because they try to get to you, say,
oh, it's compassionate. We need to be compassionate
to let people in. But it's not compassionate
to let 100 people
on the terrorist watch list come in from
80 different countries. So you're sitting
at the border, you can literally watch
the mountains. Border Patrol agents will tell you,
see those people that are going on this mountain
is very dangerous. The reason why
they're doing that is because they're not to claim asylum. They're not here for good intentions.
They're here to hurt our people. But we're distracted by changing diapers and helping these
migrants because we don't have enough help to actually apprehend those people who are trying
to do us harm. It is hard for us in America because we're a nation of mostly good people
to comprehend satanic evil. We have been so blessed, we've been spoiled. We don't understand
the evil. Now, if you come from another part of the world,
where this stuff is happening, you get it.
My mother and father saw this stuff.
There are people all around the world.
Every time I meet somebody whose family came from Cuba,
they know evil.
But most Americans are just naive.
And we're so blessed that we don't understand
that what we're dealing with right now is evil.
And I have to say the complicity of Biden and Kamala Harris in this is evil.
I cannot imagine how they could live with themselves
or unless they're so out, unless Biden is so out of it,
but Kamala Harris has to know what is going on.
She was the border czar.
And again, I think most Americans just can't comprehend
that anybody who could smile and giggle
and seem like a real bubblehead that she could really be evil.
But what she has allowed is evil and what she will allow if she gets in office.
Folks, I'm sorry to say, you know, if I'm wrong,
help me understand how I'm wrong.
We've just got seconds left.
You can go to National Faith Advisors.
Board.org.
And I know there's a page there with a Bill of Pastures, Bill of Rights.
That spells out what pastors and rabbis, what they're all allowed to do, basically.
Just think about in our public schools.
Teachers have no problem telling kids who they should vote for and what they should think,
or in some of our public universities.
But you're telling me that the church doesn't have those same rights?
Oh, my gosh.
Well, no one should be telling you who to vote for,
but they should be educating you on the policy so that you can make an informed decision.
Right, and I'll tell you who to vote for.
Donald Trump, National Faith Advisory Board.org, Jenny Korn.
Just great to have you.
Thank you so much, Eric.
You know, like the rush of the wind.
And your heart had helped me say from a row and see.
There's always been a quiet place to hobby you need.
You wonder why I always dress in black?
Why you never sleep bright?
Hey folks, we have a surprise guest today in the studio, our friend Troy Miller, who's a president and CEO of the NRB, which is the National Religious Broadcasters Association.
Troy Miller, welcome to New York City.
Great to be with you today, Eric.
I want to talk to you just because we have a short time today, but about, I mean, the last time I was in the room with President Trump was at the NRB a few months ago.
it's astonishing to me what has happened since then.
We had, as of yesterday, two attempts to murder him.
What do you make of what is happening in this country?
Yeah, it's pretty amazing to think that both you and I were with him in that room
and just what a wonderful warm man he is.
And now to think that he's had two assassination attempts.
And the one yesterday is kind of really bizarre.
But look, this is a country where we've really up the hostility toward political
figures. I don't think anybody other than President Trump has more hostility from his
enemies and his opponents. I mean, when you call him the modern day Hitler, when you call him
a threat to democracy, you know that they have to understand they're going to be raising
up out there some of these crazies who then want to take him out. Unfortunately, that's true.
It's just amazing to me because President Trump, there really has been no one like him in our
lifetimes. I mean, he's a figure who is, he's a warrior. He does the stuff that nobody else is willing to do.
For example, he moved the embassy, our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Every other president, George
W. Bush and company said, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the right thing to do. They didn't do it.
Right. Why did he do it and they didn't do it? You know, that's the thing I think that really sets
him apart is that he keeps his promises. As you said, we saw so many reports.
Republicans over the last several decades who have promised to do a number of things.
And I think that's what the left really hates about him, is that he made these promises.
He made the promise to move the embassy to Jerusalem.
He made the promise to recognize Israel's rights to live.
He made the promise to Christians that he was going to put pro-life judges on the Supreme Court.
And he followed through and he did all these things.
And that's really the reason why I think they hate him.
They don't hate him because he's been friends with these people for years.
but he lived up to his promises and especially his promises to the Jewish and Christian communities.
I've said this over and over.
In my lifetime, I have never, ever seen a politician make promises and then actually remind us of the promises and then keep the promises.
I said, what is going on?
I mean, I'll never forget when it first happened.
I thought, I've never seen anything like this because typically presidential candidates, they say,
stuff. And it's not like they are out and out lying, but they just don't mean it clearly. They don't
mean it like they would be if you're in a business negotiation that you have to do. You said you're
going to do this. You can do this. So when Trump did that, I thought, this is a new kind of
politician. This is something that we've simply never seen. It's a new kind of leadership.
And it really changed dramatically how I see everything because suddenly you now see what's
possible. You now realize this kind of leadership is possible.
Before we simply, you know, we thought, what's the best we could do?
Oh, maybe George Bush will be good.
You know, maybe Jeb Bush will be good.
And then you realize, well, whatever we thought was good was terrible compared to what we've had now.
Because here we have somebody, you just mentioned the Supreme Court.
When I heard Trump say, in other words, every other conservative candidate would say things like,
oh, we're going to get originalists on the Supreme Court.
We're going to get, he out and out said what nobody would say and would say you shouldn't say.
I'm going to put people in Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
I thought, he can't say that.
Did he just say that?
And then he actually did it.
Right.
He really brought back with Dr. Kennedy, who I used to work for,
called the statesmanship to the office.
He didn't just, he wasn't just a politician.
He didn't just go out there and make a bunch of promises,
as you said, with good intent behind them.
But he followed through, he had the resolve to follow through
and to push people in his minutes.
to follow through with him as well.
I'm sure there are many people telling him, look, Mr. President, this is not going to
endear you to the public, but he said, I made a promise.
And that's what the difference between a politician and a statesman.
He really stepped up.
And I think he's really brought the, what do you say, the organization of the office to a new
level.
There's no doubt about it.
And that's why he scares his opponents to death.
Right.
Because everybody else, my friend John Smirik, always talk.
about, you know, folks like Bush and company, they were like controlled opposition.
John McCain, Mitt Romney, they were kind of the best we thought we could do, but they were
controlled opposition. They were not going to go to war with evil. This is like Reagan, when
Reagan says Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall, he was willing to go to war with the evil
of communism, with the evil empire. He labeled the evil empire. He was willing to fight and to risk
everything in a sense because it was the right thing to do. We haven't seen that kind of leadership
since Reagan, and we have it now. Trump is not the controlled opposition. He's not going to go
along. Now, he might have done that in years past, but I think the way they came after him,
as soon as he rode down that escalator, it just, his fighting instinct kind of kicked in.
It was a big deal last year or this year when you had him at the NRB and he was in the room.
and it just was amazing to me.
Sometimes I think that he doesn't understand how loved he is by, you know, your average Christian and evangelical in the country.
Yeah, he's like everybody else in the country, the working people, the people in the pews, maybe not all of them in the pulpits, but the people in the pews he connects with.
They understand him.
And really, it's kind of vice versa.
They feel like he understands them.
And that's a huge thing that President Trump's been able to do.
And again, but it goes back to.
that he's lived up to his promises to the Christian community.
You know, with all of the things he did, he took on another thing he took on, Eric,
was Christian persecution, religious persecution around the world.
And he didn't just give it lip service.
He brought real bearing of the U.S. government to force and helped Christians everywhere
around the world.
And the people in the pew see that from him.
They see a genuine man who cares about their issues.
We're going to keep you to record some more.
for another day. But just for today, since we have to end for today, where can people find the
NRB, you, Troy Miller, and the NRB online? So you can find us on X at NRB CEO, and you can find us on
the web at NRB.org. And you can look at all of the issues that we're covering in Washington, D.C.,
in the media, and around the world. NRB.org is the website and on Twitter, NRBCEO, Troy,
Miller, thanks for being with us today.
Thank you for our work.
Hey, folks, before we go for the day, I want to remind everybody that if you have not yet looked into the June cruise that we're doing, I am so excited about this.
I cannot tell you.
And what I think, too, is like, this is a fun thing for families to do or friends to do, couples, to get other couples.
It's just going to be an amazing time of fellowship.
and I'm going to be talking almost every night about from my different books doing Q&A,
about where do we go from here, what's the future.
This is going to be June 6th through 16th.
There's all these different levels available.
If you're a zillionaire, and I know there's some, there's like, you know, stuff you can get for like $14,000 per person.
If you want to go like super, super high end, if you,
are not a zillionaire, and I know there's some people out there that are not zillionaires,
I think it's $3,000 a person.
This is 10 days.
I mean, honestly, when you see what it is, you're going to at least be tempted to sign up,
and you probably think of friends and family that might want to know about this.
So to do that, go to ericmetaxis.com slash cruise.
Ericmetaxis.com slash cruise.
It's not that expensive.
I'm going to be, I'm on the economy.
Like there's in a new economy level where the room is partially submerged, and that's a steel.
I know, it's really wet.
You can feed the fish.
They're fish that's down in the boiler room.
They're fish that's like $40 a night.
But you have to shovel coal into the, to make the ship go.
There's a special bicycle you have to travel.
No, seriously, like this is, there's a lot of people that when you look into this, you're going to say, I think we could do this.
It's reasonable.
It's reasonable.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the joy.
Another thing, tonight, no, tomorrow night.
tomorrow night, I'm doing something called the Bonhofer Circle.
If you want to join that, we're going to host a quarterly video call with me answering your questions
to talk about, you know, courage in the face of evil and what do we do now?
To join that group, you have to go, I don't have the link here.
Well, go to the Socrates in the city website.
And to join the Bonhofer Circle, I just want to remind you that there's a lot involved.
Screenings of the Bonhofer film that's coming out, a lot of stuff.
Go to Socrates in the city.com for that.
I also want to say that, you know, when you look at the lunacy around us,
if you're not thinking about homeschooling your kids or at least getting your kids involved,
involved in quality K-12, Christ-centered education.
I don't know what you're thinking.
We've partnered with our friends at the Herzog Foundation.
They're there to help you navigate this.
We have to be raising our kids up right.
I think you now know that that's not been happening so much in America.
And usually if you send your kids to public schools, you're sending them into lunatic LGBTQ indoctrination camps.
really horrifying. And so the Herzog Foundation is there to help. Go to
Herzog Foundation.com. Herzog Foundation.com. They are heroes. Herzog Foundation.com.
They also have a website, reed lion.com, where there's all kinds of stuff. But we want to get
everybody who is a thinking person to know about the Herzog Foundation. So check them out.
And then before we go for sure, check out our friends.
at the Heritage Foundation, they are the ones behind the dreaded Project 2025
that Kamala Harris and others are trying to scare people and thinking,
Trump is going to enact what's in Project 2025.
That would be the greatest thing ever if he did.
But it's the Heritage Foundation.
Yeah.
But it's the Heritage Foundation that's behind it, not Donald Trump in his campaign.
It's the Heritage Foundation that's trying to get the folks on the Trump team
to do what they're suggesting in Project 2025.
God's grace, he will get in and he will do it.
If you want to find out what's in that, go to 25truth.com, 25truth.com.
Find out what's scaring all of the crazies, 25truth.com.
God bless you today.
Eric, can you do one pickup on Bonhoeffer Circle?
To join the Bonhofer Circle, go to Ericbataxis.com slash circle.
