the president really doesn't like to be challenged. I'm prepared, folks, to challenge him. And I think some good things will come out of it. I also think some bad things will come out of it. I want to be clear. I think some very, very bad things are going to come out of it. So you want to stay tuned in just a few moments. I really, I can't believe it.

It's a little scary, but I'm going to gird my loins literally, and figuratively, and I'm going to wait into these controversial waters. We're going to talk about tariffs. We're going to talk about taffy. We're going to talk about a lot of stuff. So I would say that this is an historic interview in a few moments with President Donald Trump. In our two, I'm going to kick back and have a conversation with our friend Kenny Sacked. We aired the conversation some time ago, but I thought it's such a good conversation. He's doing this on purpose? totally on purpose as far as we know he's a real you know uh endurance junkie i mean he ran some of you remember that that he ran no kidding every day for 153 days he ran a marathon 26.2 miles i participated with him i think on the 151st marathon we ran 22 miles that day it's at a slow pace

but it's still running and we ran from here to New Jersey. Sounds like I'm making it up. I'm not. We ran from Manhattan to the George Washington Bridge across the George Washington Bridge to Fort Lee, New Jersey, and back. So Malachi has done stuff like this before, but he is right now. We're going to get him on the program after this is all over. But right now, if you're wondering, why is Eric not posting on Instagram? It is because Malachi, who edits this stuff, is like in the desert. in I think it's Arizona, running like 60 miles a day, sleeping a few hours. It's insane.

No tough questions needed. The stock market has bounced back. Everything's going exactly. planned. I'm very excited. Everything's working. Everything's working. And I have countries, literally my phone is going off right now, my phone, and countries want to make deals.

They want to make deals. So this is, everything's going my way. Or your way, I should say. Everybody says you're playing 5D chess, that you've got all kinds of stuff going on. And I can't even picture five dimensions.

So how do you do that? How do you handle that on a global stage? playing 5D chess, with many people who can't even spell the word chess. How many people, how many people can build a 70-story, 70-story building in Manhattan, and all the things you have to deal with, that's 5D chess right there. So I've built so many buildings. I've done so many things. You have to think about it.

Think about 70 floors. Every floor has so many details, and you have to, and you've got so many things you have to deal with, so many people, deliveries. This is how I learned. This is how I learned. And now I am delivering for the American people. I'm delivering for the American people. Well, I do think you're delivering for the American people.

But the left and the rhinos in Congress continue to bet against you. Are you finally onto them where you don't care? I'm very disappointed in Ben Shapiro. very disappointed in Dave Portnoy, the guy from Barstool Sports, very disappointed in both of those guys. Terrible. They're like, oh, I lost millions of dollars. I lost money.

And Ben, what I don't like that guy. I know he's... Wait a minute. I guess I don't pay too much attention to the news. So you're telling me that Ben Shapiro has come out against the tariffs? Yes, exactly. Exactly. He's come out against me. I can't believe it. I can't believe. Have you seen his sister? She's very attractive. She's very attractive. I don't know. I don't really, I don't follow everyone, so I'm a little bit in the dark. You should follow her.

I'm still good at it. Technically, the term would be better than I. Better than I. Better than I. But I know you knew that. No one else does that. Directly to the American people

and you don't want to, you know, you don't want to put on airs with them because you're a man of the people. And that's what I love about you. That's why we're getting rid of the Department of Education. We're returning education back to the states and we're cutting out all the waste. Why do you think the Democrats are against Doge and Elon

and what you're doing? What do you think is really behind that? Because they're being, you know, these budgets that they put through these committees and subcommittees. Now, for the first time ever, people can see them. And they're seeing that they're having trans shows in Liberia and things like, I mean, who's paying for this? We are. Why would we pay for that? It's unbelievable.

So that's why we got rid of USAID and fired all those people who made it possible. And I would fire the congressman, you know, Republican. or Democrat who voted for most of this crap in this bill. People keep, you know, talking about that you're a changed man and you're very humble and you say, no, I'm not a changed man. But people perceive something about you this time. Right. My golf game has improved.

My golf game has improved. I've cut at least four or five strokes off. So that's big, that's a big change. That's a big change. So you'd say that you're a changed man on the golf course. Absolutely. And in life. You know, we came in this time. You know, the very first, my first administration, everyone said, you have to have this person. Sir, sir, sir, sir. You have to have this person. You know what? This time I said, I want these people. I want these people. And now that's the change. You're getting 100 percent, you know, 110. One 10 Trump. You're getting 110 percent of Trump as opposed to a watered down version that you got the first time. And that, and we got sidetracked with COVID, which was totally made up, by the way. The whole thing was made up. And now we've got the Democrats out of the way.

We've got an incredible Supreme Court who's doing pretty much anything I say. Because, listen, I'm a CEO. If I'm going to run a business, I can't have an underling saying, oh, no, no, no, no, no, you can't do that. That's not how you run a business. That's not how you run a business. I have a vision. I have a vision for America.

I have a vision for how this should work. And I can't possibly be interrupted by stupid people. People, stupid people. Not you. You're very smart. Your hair's gray. Your hair's grayer, though. I did notice your hair's a little gray. I know. My colorist is on vacation. Yeah, you're really going to talk to her. You really got to talk to her. Let me. Oh, no, no. It's a man. Oh, let me ask you. Let me ask you, at least I've been led to believe. But let me ask you some less personal questions. You have, you understand that there is a separation. of powers. So when you talk about America as a business, that model holds to some extent, but obviously we're all under the Constitution. What the executive can do is limited. Are you surprised that those in the judiciary would be challenging you? Do you think they're honest? Or do you think they're just gaming the system, seeing what they can get away with to stop the will of we the people? I think there's a lot of knee-jerk reaction just because it's me. You know, these things that they,

There's so many, you know, the great Pam Bondi, who you know very well, the great Pam Bondi is telling me that the United States government is being sued more now than ever before. Because every move we make, every breath we take, we're getting sued. We're getting sued. It's unbelievable. You know what I mean? And I need to, and listen, I love the Constitution. I love the Constitution. I hung it in my own. Well, that was the Declaration of Independence.

But I love these documents. These are very important. But, but, you know, sometimes you sign contracts and you realize, listen, I want to deliver on this contract, but for me to deliver, you're going to bend the rules. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. Like I said, I'll be a dictator on day one. And then we'll go back. And then everyone will be happy.

Everyone was crying yesterday. Everyone's happy today. Because you know and I know that the market was overvalued. It was all funny money. It was all funny money, right? Funny money's great until it crashes. Well, I got to it first, and I fixed it, and everything from here on out. The value of the money we're looking at now, that's real.

Those numbers are real numbers. Everything else, phony baloney. So I fixed it. So sometimes you've got to break some China. You know what I mean? You've got to take your medicine. Call me Dr. Trump. But we're going to make this work, and people are going to be very happy.

And it hasn't even been 100 days. yet. Well, I have to say you, you know, you joke around, you talk about bending the rules, you're trolling your enemies. When you talk about being a dictator, you're trolling your enemies, and they always take the bait. I'm absolutely amazed that when you say something like that, you're deliberately trolling those enemies you have, political enemies, they take the bait every time and they say, oh, see, he said he wants to be a dictator. You must, in enjoy that. I get the idea that you really enjoy trolling your detractors and watching them take the bait every time. Well, you know, people are so simple. And when I say fake news,

it's like you say something and everyone just goes bananas. You say one thing. Can I do that thing? No, I didn't do that thing. But I said that thing. And people confuse words with actions. And that's the problem. My actions are to make America great again. And when I say stuff like that, like you said, they take the bait, and it's like, have you ever seen a coy pond? Have you ever seen a coy pond? A coy pond? Yes, I have. We have those. And every single time, maybe it's just me, there are a coy fish in that pond. It's unbelievable. But you throw, you throw a rich cracker in. I love rich crackers because you're so good, you know, you can put cheese on it and a piece of meat. They're delicious because they always say, you got to have it, you know, higher end ardorms. I say,

just have the rich crackers. They're fantastic. But you throw a rich crackers. You're so, you throw a rich tracker in the koi pond what happens they go bananas you know why they're stupid they're fish they're fish you know and they have a short-term memory problem is that why yes they have a short term memory so because they're stupid they're stupid they're stupid listen we're going to have to go to a break but when we come back i want to get you on the record on this program that you're not uh against the idea of a fourth a fifth and perhaps a sixth term will be right back you know you know that Folks, I'm astonished that I have the privilege of speaking with the President of the United States, Donald John Trump, who is my guest right now. And Mr. President, I want to get you on the record.

Many people have said you're talking about the third term, but you've already gone way beyond that. You have said that you are open to a fourth, a fifth, and even possibly a sixth term. Would you be going on the record to say that there's not. nothing off the table that you're open to a sixth or maybe even a seventh term of office? I'll do better than that. I'll do better than that. I was saying it at the rallies, president for life. President for life. Doesn't have a nice ring to it? And even the Democrats. And that's not a dictator. That's a president. There's a very clear difference between a dictator and a president. Right. And everyone's behind this, even the Democrats, because Chuck Schumer

called me. He even called me and he said, I hope you get life. So he, likes the idea, too. And I think that's a wonderful thing. That's the beauty of your bringing people together from across the aisle. And the idea that crying Chuck Schumer would say that he wants you to be president for life, we would not have anticipated that. And if you had not come on this show, this is breaking news, folks, in case you're wondering. Who does everyone love? Who does everyone love? They love Roosevelt because the World War II. He's a wartime president. I'm a wartime president. And how many terms?

many years. I mean, it was it almost four terms? He got into his fourth term and he died. Oh, he was definitely in his fourth term until he died. I think I'm pretty sure that Truman put a pillow over his face. There's a lot of controversy, but we do know that he died in his fourth term. In his fourth term. He's always in his fourth term. That's right. So I think I should get at least four terms because I've done as much as Eisenhower. And I'm a wartime president. So at the

very least. And also it says consecutively, this is not consecutive. This would be my first consecutive after the break of the stolen election. So we've got a break there. And the Constitution is not 100% clear on this. Now, wait a minute. I just, I never thought of this. Does, does the 14th, I'm sorry, I'm not sure what amendment it is, but we had an amendment after the fourth term of FDR, we said that we're going to have, we're going to make an amendment. to the Constitution that a president can only serve two terms. Now, of course, that can be changed, just as the Constitution will be changed, but it's not easy to change.

But are you saying that that amendment specifies consecutive terms? Yes, it specifies consecutive. And this wouldn't be consecutive. This would be, well, this would be my first, second consecutive, not my second first consecutive. Do you see what I'm saying? This is very important. I don't, but I'm sure somebody must.

Somebody does. These attorneys are very, very smart. And did you know, even going back to George Washington, who could have stayed for a third or fourth term? He decided to do that on his own because he was lazy. He was very, very lazy. He wanted to go back to Mount Vernon. But there were a lot of people, a lot of people,

the second and third president after him, they wanted to stay longer. And they should have because that's what you do. You stay until like, you know, when you get a good CEO of a company, you keep them around. He'll fire him because they'd be stupid term limits for president. Term limits for everybody else, not for me.

You know, a lot of people are wondering how I got you to appear on this show. Absolutely amazing. But it should really be the 51st state. It should really be the 51st state. I mean, honestly, what is a Canadian? It's an unarmed American, right, with a crappy healthcare system and they always apologize. These things we could change overnight. We're We could make them Americans. We could arm them instantaneously, get rid of their crappy health care, and they don't have to apologize because they're Americans. I think that would be the greatest thing. That is so beautiful. I'm crying. I'm even hearing about that. Now, a lot of people don't know this, and I know you do because you're such a great student of history.

But Benjamin Franklin and other founders desperately wanted to make Canada the 14th colony. That's absolutely true. It didn't work out, but it almost worked out. And I wonder if you, Mr. President, will be able to do what Benjamin Franklin failed to do. Because as you just said in calling George Washington lazy, you know, these founders, they weren't perfect. No, they go back and they want to go work on a farm. We went to work on a farm. I don't get these people.

Just keep working. Just keep making America great again. Or making America great. Because that would have been first. He just would have been make America great. But I'm doing it again. Do you see what I'm saying? You know, a lot of people see exactly what you're saying,

Mr. President, a lot of people are saying we should invade Greenland yesterday. Enough is enough. Would you lead those troops? Because George Washington, some people know, I think it was during the Whiskey Rebellion. He put on his uniform as president to lead the charge. That hasn't happened in almost 240 years, whatever it is, that a president would put on a uniform and would you be willing to lead us into Greenland? Yes or no, sir. I would be so happy to lead us into Greenland.

They're toying with us. You know, Denmark is doing a horrible job protecting them. I will protect Greenland. And, you know, the whole place, the people that are Intuit people. They're all from Intuit. They're all Native Intuit. And those are the people who run like the bookkeeping and all that stuff. So I think it would be very important that to have the Intuit population there,

doing the bookkeeping, and then we'll go that we've got that. We've got a lot of bases, a lot of ports, deep, deep water ports, you know, very wet, deep water ports where the big ships can go. They'll, they'll take it. But they've got raw earth minerals. They've got the stuff for the Teslers. They went to the batteries for the Teslers. They've got all that stuff. There's things in the ground that kind of radiate and power things.

And we need that. We need that. They shouldn't have that because they're not using it. And we're going to use it. And that's the most important thing. It's a moral imperative that you use everything in the earth. You know what I'm talking about? You got to dig it up and you got to use it.

I think it's very important that we talk a little bit more about tariffs. There are two nations or there's a nation I'd never heard of it before. It's two tiny islands. I believe it's uninhabited. Nonetheless, you said nothing's off the table and you slapped some tariffs. on that island. I understand that it's mostly penguins. And is this to send a message to the penguins?

This is a message to the penguins that are on there. We did our research. People say, well, this is a mistake, sir, sir, sir. No, no, no, no. It's not a mistake. You've got basically gay penguins on these islands, right? They're very woke. They're all communist.

They're all exactly the same. They all dress the same. They all have the same attitude. And this is where we as Americans are rugged individuals. Now, from the tariff side, from the tariff's side, what's to stop a country with very high tariffs running their things through these islands? Just setting up a little, a little hut, and they run it through. Oh, these aren't coming through, you know, these aren't coming through England. It's coming through this island, the Harland or whatever the hell they're called islands.

Listen, I'm very smart. This is the 5D chess in action. I am not going to have some country that we've got a 93, like Vietnam, 90% tariffs running their stuff through these penguins. And these penguins, they'll work for practically nothing. They'll work for nothing. You give them like a sardine to work all night. So we're way ahead of them on this. Well, I'll keep that in mind everything you just said.

As soon as I understand it, which will be eventually, I promise you. And I want to say something when you mentioned penguins, think how ironic it is. all woke. And yet there's no diversity in the penguin population. As you said, they dress the same. So they're total hypocrites. Dressed the same. One jumps in the ocean.

They all jump in the ocean. You know, these are communists. These are communist penguins. Woke communist penguins. We can't have that. They can't have that. There are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. And I want to be on the record on this show.

I don't care what people think. They're hypocrites. And I will say it. And you've said it. And it's about time someone said it. It's about time somebody said it. So, so, you know, we're talking about invading Greenland any minute, I think. And I wouldn't say as an invasion, you know, and by the way, by the way, big marketing issue with Greenland.

It's all ice. It's all ice. It's really should be Iceland. But that name was taken, right, by Iceland, which is all green. So there's really, I think the first. Wait a minute. Who took the name Iceland? Iceland took Iceland.

and Greenland to Greenland. Oh, Iceland to Greenland is mainly ice. It's mainly ice. And it's true. Have you seen the... I think Greenland, Iceland is actually very, very green. So it's really a misnomer. I think we could sue to get Greenland just on a...

What do you call it? An advertising thing when it's a... You know, it's fraudulent advertising. I think we could win that case just on fraudulent advertising. And we won't have to... invade. We could just take it over and win it in a lawsuit. That's such a sweet idea, I have to say. You know, I want to get back to the idea of you running for a fourth, fifth, and possibly a sixth term in office. What would you be able to accomplish if that door opened and you were able to have a

fourth, fifth, and a sixth term? Because I think the third term is already in the bag. But it's the fourth, fifth, and six terms where you're really going to get to do some crazy stuff. We could fix so many things. We're doing it with Doge and Elon right now. He's a very smart guy. I mean, not as smart as me, but he's a very smart guy. We're finding a lot of ways. There's so many departments and so many people that we don't need. We don't need.

And that money can go to more important things. And ideally, if everything works out the way I think it'll work out, anybody who makes over a million dollars will not get taxed. Because we don't deserve to be taxed. We're the people that are helping the country. And if you're doing something that's not up in the country, you should be taxed. That's what you should do. And I would like to go back to the Gilded Age 1880s where before income taxed, did you know

this country didn't have income tax? Did you know that? I did know that. And I heard Charlie Chaplin, he made a fortune. And he was from England. And he should have been taxed. But we didn't have federal income tax. So I want to go back to a time.

And there was no federal income tax for people like me. Well, I've heard Scott Bessent talking about bringing us back to the gold standard. There are a lot of good things that this administration has talked about, and you've had the boldness to say things that no one has said before. Like calling the penguins hypocrites, no other president has even gone near that idea. Yeah, where was Obama on the penguins? Where was Sleepy Joe on the penguins? You know, even Bush, he never mentioned the penguins. Well, I know that I know that for a fact.

I once asked George W. Bush about the penguins, and he just got a funny look on his face and left the room, and I never saw him again. And I think that, you know, you're uncovering stuff. The American people demand to know what's really going on. And I think the penguins is just the tip of the iceberg, literally. Right. And I think we'll be able to decimate the deep state. We'll be able to save America a lot of money.

And I think this place, with all the manufacturing that will come back, it'll just be jobs, jobs, jobs. We're going to be making toasters in America again. Not in China. Not in China. We don't need Chinese toasters. We don't need Chinese toasters. We're going to have to leave it there, folks.

They just read the student edition. And earlier today, I did that. And it was amazing. Talking to sixth graders is way more challenging than talking to adults. But it was such a delight. Such a delight.

I mentioned that this is the 80th anniversary tomorrow of the death of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Great opportunity to see the film on Apple TV, on Amazon Prime. But talking to these kids was just amazing.
