Starting point is 00:00:00 Folks, welcome to the Eric Mataxis show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metals. There's never been a better time to invest in precious metals. Visit legacy p.m.investments.com. That's legacy p.m. Investments.com. Welcome to the Eric Metaxis show. Did you ever see the movie The Blob starring Steve McQueen? The Blood Curdling Prep of The Blob. Well, way back when Eric had a small part in that film, but they had to cut his scene because The Blob was supposed to eat him. But he kept spitting him. Oh, the whole thing was just a disaster. Anyway, here's the guy who's not always that easy to digest.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Eric the Texas. Folks, welcome to Hour 2, and what an hour it promises to be. Plenty more, starting right now, with our friend John Zmirach. At the end of the hour, I talked to the niece of Dr. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I interviewed her at the end of the end. NRB, I guess that was last week. It seems like 100 years ago already. But a wonderful conversation with Alveda King coming up at the end of the hour. But right now, we return to our friend, John, I believe it's ZMirak, Z M-I-R-A-K. John, welcome. Thanks, Eric. You're one of the only people who's ever pronounced my name correctly. I was going to say metaxis. I've had problems with that over the years, but it's, Zmirak is tough for people. But we're going to keep at it. It's important. It's important.
Starting point is 00:01:39 important that people get it right. John Zmirak. It's not that tough. It's like Beetlejuice. It's like Beetlejuice. If you say it three times, I will appear and messed up your life. So, John, you wrote a beautiful article a couple days ago about Memorial Day, and we haven't had a chance to talk about it. But it was really just, I put it out on social media because it's a primer on American wars on what wars we fought, why we fought them, whether we ought to have fought them. I would love to talk about that piece with you because it was just so important. And again, it's at stream.org. What's the title of it?
Starting point is 00:02:22 It's called on Memorial Day, remember peace is patriotic. On Memorial Day, remember peace is patriotic. So that's John Smirak at stream.org. It's an important piece, folks. I really recommend it. But let's talk about it. Go ahead. The reason to talk about it is we are being goaded to the brink of nuclear war with Russia,
Starting point is 00:02:42 allegedly to stop another Hitler from imposing tyranny in Europe. And the Democrats who have corrupt interests all over Ukraine, they're on board with the war. The traditional peace lobby is gone. The people who demonstrated correctly against the Iraq war are gone, missing in action. And on the right, you've got the Dick Cheney's, the Liz Cheney's, the military contractors, the people in the pockets of the defense industry, and the insane fanatical neocons who told us that Iraq would become Switzerland, that Afghanistan would become New Hampshire. The same people who goaded us into two failed wars against tribal goat herders and corrupt Iraqi generals now want us to go. a war with a nuclear, to risk war with a nuclear armed Russia in order to resolve a border dispute between two equally bad countries. I want to emphasize the government of Ukraine is every
Starting point is 00:03:49 bit as bad as the government of Russia. That is a very radical statement. I know you're right, but we are living in a world where hardly anybody knows this, hardly anyone is talking about this, So thank you for talking about this because it is very, very important that people understand. People seem to think, we've talked about this, that it's kind of like we're dealing with the Soviet Union. Like it's 1980 all over again. No, ladies and gentlemen, no. Ukraine is not Germany or France or England and Russia is the Soviet Union, the evil empire. But if you're going to get into believing this narrative, it's really sick. Ukraine is a one-party state where the opposition leaders are in prison.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Ukraine has banned the Orthodox Church that existed there for a thousand years because some of them were sympathetic to Russia. They have banned the Orthodox Church. Ukraine imprisons is political dissidents. Ukraine is a corrupt, squalid oligarchy that rules tyrannically exactly like Russia. There is not a dime's worth of difference between Ukraine and Russia. Neither of them support freedom, neither of them support religious liberty, neither of them are allies of the United States or are ever likely to become so.
Starting point is 00:05:14 This is like us going to war between Ethiopia and Eritrea, or like us taking sides between two factions in Afghanistan, both of them jihadists. There is no moral difference between these regimes. But the neocons want Ukraine to be an American puppet right in Russia's backyard. Just the way Cuba was a Russian puppet in America's backyard during the Cold War. Now, let's remember, John F. Kennedy was ready to start a nuclear war. with Russia to keep the Soviet Union from controlling Cuba because it's in our backyard. Putin is just as committed to stopping Ukraine from joining NATO as Kennedy was to stopping Cuba
Starting point is 00:06:10 from becoming a Soviet puppet with nuclear missiles. Putin might well launch a nuclear war over this. We are provoking a potential nuclear war. For what? For absolutely nothing. Let me ask you, because it's important. I buy your assessment of this, and we've talked to other folks on the program about this. Why do you suppose, you know, people like Lindsey Graham and these neocons want to do this? In other words, why do you suppose that they are beefing up this narrative
Starting point is 00:06:51 that, you know, the former Soviet Union is at war with our past, in the Ukraine. Why are they doing that? What is happening? Because they are prostitutes of the military industrial complex. They get huge donations from defense contractors and their stupid jingoists who think America should be an empire that can do whatever it wants, where ever it wants. And every other country is going to roll over and say, uncle. And that's how the world has to work for now and forever. For a thousand years, we are going to be like the British Empire at its height. And we can dictate whatever we want, wherever we want all around the world. And anybody who stands against us, we're going to pretend their Hitler and obliterate their country. And our soldiers are going to sign up
Starting point is 00:07:36 and die so that we can be an empire like the Roman Empire or the Spanish or the Ottoman Empire. And that's not what America is about. And in my column at stream.org, peace is patriotic. I go through America's wars, first the ones that are just, that were absolutely justified and morally right, according to Christian just war principles, which if we're Christians have to be what bind us. Then I go through the ones which maybe were unjust, but at least benefited the country. And then I go through the ones that weren't just,
Starting point is 00:08:10 weren't necessary, and were a disaster for the country. Should we just start going through them? Yeah. Okay. The war for independence was absolutely necessary. We had developed free governments in the 13 colonies over hundreds of years. that had representative government, the taxpayers decided through their representatives, how the money was spent. The British government was starting to impose on us a kind of dictatorship from London,
Starting point is 00:08:39 which they were also doing through the East India Company to India. At the same time, the American colonists were worried about a tyranny rising in America. A tyranny was rising in India. The British East India Company was taking over the Mughal Empire. and was taking control of the food supply and causing famines. People were being starved by the millions by the British government, via the East India Company at the same time. So the colonists were not just being alarmist.
Starting point is 00:09:09 They didn't think we were going to turn into Canada. They thought we were going to turn into India. I want to be clear, in my book on Wilberforce, Amazing Grace, I have a long chapter on this subject about India and how Wilberforce heroically fought, after he won the battle against the slave trade, to try to get missionaries to be allowed to go into India, to import biblical values into India,
Starting point is 00:09:38 because he saw what you're saying is that the British really were, they were colonialists in the completely negative sense. They were going in there and basically not caring about the people in India whatsoever. They were ruling over them and they weren't doing with anything that resembled beneficence. Actually, we're going to break more on this subject. We're going to go through the wars in history with John Smirak. Stick around. I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of iconic American brands selling us out to appease radical leftists. But it's not just beer and sneakers. For years, big mobile companies have been dumping millions into left.
Starting point is 00:10:25 leftist causes, and we had to take it because another option didn't exist. Well, now it does. We've got Alveda King coming up, but first I want to have this wonderful conversation with John Zmirak. So, John, you're going over this piece you wrote at stream.org.
Starting point is 00:12:37 The title again? Peace is patriotic. Peace is patriotic. Stream.org. Beautiful, important piece. But you're going through the wars and you talk about, first of all, the revolution. You say it was a just war. You laid that out in the piece.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Then the next one, the Civil War. It had to be resolved whether we were a confederate. federation of states that could secede or not, or whether we're a unified country, it had to be resolved whether slavery was going to be banned or was going to keep expanding. Those things had to be resolved. And because of the aggressiveness of the leadership of the South and their fanaticism on expanding slavery, there was no choice but to fight that war. The second World War was the just and necessary war to stop two demonic regimes. genocidal demonic regimes that attacked or declared war on us.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Japan attacked us first. Germany declared war on us. We were the victims. We were the defenders. That was a necessary war. Then the Korean War, a just and necessary war, an independent country, South Korea, was invaded by forces allied with Stalin and Mautzy Tung,
Starting point is 00:13:58 genocidal tyrants, that wanted to turn that country into a police state ruled by a racist fanatical totalitarian cult. It was an ugly war, the men who served in it, don't get remembered enough, but it was a heroic war. And if you look now, a nighttime map, South Korea has all these beautiful, brightly lit cities,
Starting point is 00:14:18 and North Korea looks like an empty desert that doesn't even have electricity. And the people who are genetically identical, north and south, they're three or four inches shorter in the north because of malnutrition. So we know the Korean War was a just war. The final just war I want to talk about is the Cold War.
Starting point is 00:14:38 After World War II, the real winner of World War II was Stalin. There's a new book called Stalin's War, which everyone needs to read. And it documents how Joseph Stalin, more than Hitler, was the primary actor in causing the Second World War, and he was the primary winner. He ended up controlling half of Europe. We, through our great effort, managed to save the western half of Europe from totalitarianism of either the Nazi or the Soviet variety. But World War II, just, Cold War was just. Next, let's talk about wars that weren't necessarily just because they weren't at an absolute last resort to save the country.
Starting point is 00:15:21 But we still kind of benefited from them in the end. The Mexican-American War, where we invaded Mexico. and took the American Southwest. Most of the American Southwest, there were very few Mexicans there. They had not settled those countries. They were like 5,000 Mexican settlers in all of California.
Starting point is 00:15:41 There were a few thousand in New Mexico, a few hundred in maybe Colorado and Arizona. But we were the aggressor in that war, according to no less an authority than Ulysses S. Grant, the hero of the American Civil War. He fought in the Mexican-American War, But he said about that war that it was, quote, one of the most unjust ever waged by a stronger against a weaker nation, unquote. So that's a war that might not have been just, but at least it benefited us.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Likewise, the Spanish-American war. That was waged on a totally fake pretext, allegedly that the Spanish government blew up the United States, U.S.S. Maine. That wasn't true. It blew up probably because of engine problems. the American media whipped up a war frenzy that we had to avenge this terrorist attack, and we beat Spain easily. We captured Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Philippines. Again, we benefited from it, but it made us into a colonial power.
Starting point is 00:16:44 We ended up fighting a really nasty guerrilla war in the Philippines against people who wanted their independence. How did we benefit from the Spanish-American War? Sorry? How did we benefit from the Spanish-American War? I don't understand that. We got naval port, naval bases all over the east. We got much more trade with China and Japan.
Starting point is 00:17:06 It made us into an imperial naval power that could rival Great Britain. That's the only real. Then the First World War, we had no business entering the First World War. We should have been negotiating a peace to the First World War. Instead, Woodrow Wilson maneuvered us into that war. What we did was, instead of a negotiated peace, because the both sides were exonerated. They would have come to some kind of peace agreement. We threw it to the British and the French.
Starting point is 00:17:34 With the result, Russia collapsed. The Soviets came to power. There was chaos all through Europe that helped provoke the Nazis to come into power. Both the Holocaust and the Ukrainian famine are a direct result of the U.S. This is why I want people to read this article because this is outrageous. you know, information, what you're saying, that the foolishness of Woodrow Wilson opened the door to the Soviet Revolution, to the nightmare of the Soviet Union, and to crushing the Germans to the extent that they welcomed Adolf Hitler to save them
Starting point is 00:18:19 from the Versailles Treaty of Versailles and so on and so forth. So it is an astonishing thing that Woodrow Wilson, in doing what he did, created some of the most evil things that have happened in history. I mean, I have to say. And you know why he did them? You know why he did them? He thought he did them for Jesus. If you read the book The War for Reeousness by Richard Gamble,
Starting point is 00:18:45 it shows you how Woodrow Wilson was a social gospel fanatic who believed that the government of the United States had replaced the Christian church as God's instrument on earth. So as president of the United States, he was essentially the voice of the Holy Spirit. He was a lefty evangelical like we have today. I mean, that's basically what he was. He was a left-wing Christian. And left-wing Christianity ends up being very anti-Christian.
Starting point is 00:19:17 That's right. It's the worst thing in the world. I'll take Roman paganism any day over leftist Christianity. All right. So now let's go to the wars that were both. unjust and completely futile and useless. The War of 1812, Britain was trying to defend itself against Napoleon's empire that was trying to conquer all of Europe. It imposed some naval restrictions. It did some things to American
Starting point is 00:19:41 trade that we didn't like. So we declared war on it and tried to conquer Canada. Canada did not want to join the United States. We tried to conquer it by force. The Canadians fought back heroically, and now the War of 1812, they consider as their War of Independence against America. The War of 1812 were completely useless, and we got absolutely nothing out of it. We got the end of the war, thousands of people had died. We agreed, let's all just pretend this never happened. And this was James Madison who drew us into this? Yes, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:15 And the Federalist Party, the anti-war party, heroically stood against it, and it destroyed that party and then it went away. It vanished. The next war was the Vietnam War, where there was no popular support for the government in South Vietnam. It was a bunch of corrupt generals. It was a bunch of the kind of people that neocons recruit with suitcases full of cash. It was waged by the Democrats, the liberal Democrats of the Johnson administration. They said, we're going to build a great society on the Mekong River. Now, we know how well the Great Society went in America. It went even worse in Vietnam.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Here's the worst part. We drafted American soldiers like slaves. We forced them at gunpoint to go fight in a foreign jungle or go to prison. And that radicalized people. That created a radical anti-war movement that recruited thousands of young idealistic or just they didn't want to go to war, Americans, to basically get involved in a communist movement. And that Vietnam era radicalization,
Starting point is 00:21:21 it revived communism in America, revived Marxism. It created a whole generation of radicals like Hillary Clinton and the people who educated Barack Hussein Obama. The left was the winner of the Vietnam War in America. And of course, it was the winner in Vietnam where communism triumphed anyway. Then the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan, we were supposed to punish the Taliban and catch bin Laden.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Instead, we occupied it for 20 years. Men who invaded in 2001, their sons could have been in the occupation 20 years later. We said we're going to build a liberal democracy in this Muslim tribal backwater. What it did do was gain billions of dollars for Dick Cheney's friends in the defense industry. And then in Iraq, they lied us into a war. They said Hussein was behind 9-11. He wasn't. They said he had weapons of mass destruction.
Starting point is 00:22:20 He didn't. So we were lied into that war. And again, it caused 600,000 civilian deaths. And it led to the genocide of almost a million Christians driven from their homes or killed in Iraq, which I was warning about in 2003. And they said I was an unpatriotic conservative. And John, I remember you doing that. I remember having lunch with you and talking.
Starting point is 00:22:44 about this and thinking, I'm not hearing this from anybody else. I was too stupid to agree with you. John, this is an important thing. I hope people will go to stream.org, get the article. I hope people go to Ericmontaxis.com. Sign up for a newsletter so you can get these videos. This is important stuff. I was asked that question.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Well, the owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal. And I agree with them. And the doctors who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients. And each one of them helps your body deal with inflammation. Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different. metabolic pathway. That's the point. So approaching from four different angles may be why so many
Starting point is 00:24:50 people find such wonderful relief. If you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exercise or just getting older, you should order the three-week quick start discounted to only 1995 to see if it'll work for you. Feel the difference. Hey there, folks. I'm at NRB, and the kooky thing about NRB is you never know who's going to show up. A woman just showed up claiming to be the niece of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I said, that can't be. Is that really true, Alveda?
Starting point is 00:25:40 In Alveda's metaverse, that's exactly who I am. And I was born in 1951, honestly, to the family that birthed Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and my aunt Christine King Farris, who is 95 years old, and she may be about to make a transition away, and she's the oldest, and then Martin, Uncle M.L. And then my dad, Reverend A.D. King. King. And so this is part of what's called the King Family Legacy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:09 And then in my generation, I'm the first one. King family singers, that was a different family. But we actually sing. I've got music out there and music videos. But what is really amazing, Because I knew you were here, and we hadn't booked with you, and then I got a call, can you go talk to Eric Metaxus? Now, if I can say this to you, and if it sounds a little who-do-hoo,
Starting point is 00:26:31 I'm like, God, why am I going to NRB this year? I've got an aunt who's elderly. We're going to do visits to her in a hospice situation. My elderly mother's having challenges, all of this. Why am I going? To Orlando, of all places. To Orlando on top of it. So you may know that I used to have 6 million people on Facebook.
Starting point is 00:26:53 You have many more, but that to me was significant. I had 6 million at one time. I never had anything like that. And server on Twitter, all of that was canceled or what my grandkids ran around the house. You can't say that. They're going to cancel you. I say, I'm already canceled, so it's okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:07 But I still have a presence. But this is the message. Anybody who's listening, do not lose hope. Don't keep looking back at what you've lost. Look at what you have. when I got here, I saw that you were here, then it's all these, all these people. But I looked around me. There are people
Starting point is 00:27:24 walking up and down in front of us. Everybody that we see influences at least $100,000 people a day, if not a week. Social media, contact. Now, that's not a lot, no. But I talk to three ladies. One says, well, I'm on a new show and I'm doing $700,000
Starting point is 00:27:42 a night. I ask the next lady, how many people do you influence every week? 50,000. The other one said something. So we are lamenting the loss of something when we are not seeing what we have. We are not seeing our power. We're not seeing our influence. We don't know how many people depend on us for truth.
Starting point is 00:28:03 And so we're delivering truth. Don't look back and turn into a block of salt. Look forward and keep saying what you say. I didn't think you'd get to preaching. But you're brave. You're brave. You say whatever you want to say. You do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:28:18 We better. Are you scared? Are you afraid? No. Of course not. I'm scared of God. Yeah. God, I'm scared of disappointing the Lord of all creation, who created the universe, who redeemed me from death.
Starting point is 00:28:32 And that's reality. People want to hear you say that. That's why your numbers are still there. My granddad, Martin Luther King, Sr., after they shot his wife in church playing the organ, shot his son, choked his other son, my daddy threw him in a swimming pool. You know what the man said? He went to the hospital for the man who shot his wife and said, I forgive you, I love you. Now, I was young then. I thought that was really nuts and crazy.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Today, I get it. And he said, thank God for what we have left. My mother says, Alveda, you cannot pity yourself. You've got to heal on your feet. So that's what we're doing when we occupy and possess these airways. That's what you're doing all the time. Well, also, just to be clear, what you're saying is what God is saying. In other words, this is God's perspective.
Starting point is 00:29:19 To perspective, to be bitter and to say, oh, what's the use? They've canceled me, whatever. That's the voice of the devil. It is. To scare you and you look at what he took, you think. That is right. I got to ask you a question. I do, because I haven't quite figured it out.
Starting point is 00:29:34 You know, I'm pro-life. I've been dealing with Margaret Sanger, abortion, don't kill your baby, executive producer of the movie, Roe v. Wade award winning now. however, America didn't respond. The parents of America didn't quite respond to us as much as we would like to see. But America's parents are responding to the transgender thing, and they're saying, no, you can't cut things off of my kids. Why are the parents of America waking up on the transgender issue more than the abortion issue? Well, I think we could just speculate on that.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I think that sometimes things are, and this is Romans 828, all things work together for good, for those that love the Lord and are called according to this purpose. The worst things get in this nation, it's in God's mercy, he is waking us up. There are many people that have been sleeping and drifting along, and suddenly things get so bad that people wake up. And I think the transgender, there's something particularly gruesome and sick, about it that for whatever reason because it's complicated. Because abortion is kind of
Starting point is 00:30:43 sick and gruesome too. But it's easier to look the other way. It's easier to turn it into a metaphor or a cliche that it's not real. When it's being done to teenagers or whatever, suddenly it's
Starting point is 00:30:59 in your face in a way. And they're still alive. I just thought about they're still alive and they're suffering after things have been cut up and stuff. So you can still see them. They didn't get isn't and gone away. Well, yeah. Is that what you're saying?
Starting point is 00:31:11 Well, that's part of it. I mean, there's no, there's all kinds of reasons. But what I'm saying is that, look, I don't care why people are waking up. The fact that people are waking up is a sign. Because if you're going to wake up to truth and reality, you're waking up to God. Yes. And when you wake up to God, by his grace, you begin to see more and more what he sees. And I think that, you know, we've made a lot of progress in this country on the abortion issue,
Starting point is 00:31:39 The fact that we overturned Roe v. Wade, I was just having conversation with Abby Johnson, that there are no abortions happening in Texas. That's unbelievable. That's unbelievable. It's like the greatest I said I can't, I can't even believe I just heard that. We're going to be right back. Folks, I'm talking to Alveda King. Don't go away. I know I wouldn't be there to help you along. So I give you that name and I said goodbye and you'd have to get tough or die. And it's that name that helped to make you strong. He said, now you just fought one hell of a fight. And I know you hate...
Starting point is 00:32:25 ...of angel hair. Ice cream castles in the air. So let's welcome back. I'm talking to Alveda King, who is known for many things. She is an activist in the pro-life movement. Praise the Lord. She is the niece of Martin Luther King Jr. extraordinary family.
Starting point is 00:32:54 If people want to find you, and I hope they do, they can go to alveda king.com. Absolutely. Alveda king.com. That's easy. And if you want to book me, Jackie Jones, at TruthPR, that's an easy way to. TruthPR, Jackie Jones, or Alvedaking.com. Alvita king.com. So what else should we talk about in the time we have here?
Starting point is 00:33:17 Because it's just a joy. You know, I just, I have to ask you, this is the kind of thing. Maybe everyone asks you, maybe nobody asks you, but did you know your uncle? Because, you know, it's hard for me to believe. I was five years old when he was killed. And I remember, I wrote about it in my book, I remember asking my mother, why is that flag at half-mast? Because of him. And she explained that to me, and I was five at the time that that happened.
Starting point is 00:33:45 Do you remember your uncle? When our parents are open and candid like your mother obviously was, and she explains the times to you. Our mothers and fathers should do that with us. Sometimes they don't. Do I remember my uncle? Just absolutely, I marched, went to jail for open housing. My daddy organized that in Kentucky. He was a strategist with my uncle. So we were trained, me and my brothers. I was a grown lady pretty much. I had just gotten married a week before my dad was killed in 68. And in 69, in 68, I was a young lady who would soon be married.
Starting point is 00:34:23 So I knew my uncle. And as humans, too, him, my brothers were young men. They still had pillow fights. It did all kinds of stuff. Well, that's the thing, too. He was 39, which is just, it's unbelievable when you think how young he was. But I know you want to hear more about my uncle, but I wanted to go back. No, I want to hear about anything you want to talk about.
Starting point is 00:34:40 I just had to ask you that. Why are we here? Why am I here? Yeah. And so I said, you know, so, so. I could remind people not to look back and turn into a pillow of salt, but to look forward and remember what authority we have. So I'm working on things. I do music and film, entertainment, preaching, all that I've been in politics.
Starting point is 00:35:00 I don't know. I'm 72. So I tried to do everything. I'm a renaissance woman. But listen, God directs his people to worship him, to obey his commands and to sing his praises before the nations. We are called to worship God and to use praise to communicate the gospel to believers and non-believers as we intentionally lovingly live and celebrate the gospel before humanity. And then I prayed, and so this is a prayer if you're somewhere and hear this and you can pray.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Heavenly Father, thank you for your mercy, grace, and glory shining upon all humankind. We pray for those who know your name and for those who are yet to be welcomed into your truth, light, and blessings of hope. Holy Spirit. Your love is real, safe within the heart of humanity. One blood, one human race, forever in Jesus' name. So one blood, one human race. We're not different races. I mean, ethnically, we've got different ethnicities, but we're not nephalums and giants. Those are some of the races that are mentioned in the Bible. We are human. We're human. We are human beings. We're part of God's family. You don't have to ask you, because when you mention your family, I think the Ebeneas, Baptist Church. And I think to myself, it must blow your mind that today the pastor of that church is a pro-abortion zealot who somehow wheedled his way into the United States Senate. What a horrifying thing that your uncle, that your grandfather preached the word of God from that pulpit and that the man who occupies that pulpit, Senator Warnock, is now utterly pro-abortion. I don't know that he believes in the resurrection.
Starting point is 00:36:49 I don't believe that he believes in much. I don't know why he's called Reverend. A social gospel. It's a social gospel, not the gospel of Jesus God. Yeah, that's a fake gospel. It is. It is. It's a very fake.
Starting point is 00:36:57 It's a Marxist gospel. It is. Now, listen, Martin Luther King, Jr., my daddy, A.D. King, Daddy King, the grandparents, all the way back to their slave ancestors. were preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They preached that the historic Ebenez Baptist Church, which is across the street. Now, the historic Ebenez Baptist Church belonged to God,
Starting point is 00:37:22 and the men and women in my family who understood, served God. The Horizon Ebenez Baptist Church, where Senator Raphael Warnock preaches, belongs to Warnock, because he's not surrendered to God, so that really is his church. So the church where Martin Luther King Jr. preach, and you can still go there, it's owned by the Federal Park Service, and you can hear his voice and see the pulpit where he preached. It's totally different from what Raphael Wardock is.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Well, that's something, at least, because I just the idea that so many people could be taken in by the rhetoric of somebody like Warnock. I mean, he's a senator, but the idea that he would claim to be a Christian reverend and be utterly pro-abortion, he's not the only one, but he's a very prominent one. He's very visible. That was intentional. While the church was asleep, he sneaked in. If you asked how did it happen? When Christians go to sleep and don't say anything and do anything, then you get false prophets for preachers. Yeah. Well, I'm with you. It happens. I talk about this a lot about how easy it is to be deceived and how many in the church have their sleeping, they're drifting along with the culture. Yeah. Drifting to the abyss. And then what happened? How did this happen?
Starting point is 00:38:42 How did this happen? Yeah. The frog in the cold pot of water. Yeah. The water gets a little warm and a little, when it starts the boil and the frog tries to get out and he's cooked. Yeah. And that's kind of where we're. We are. But what you were saying earlier is that God calls us to look ahead, and he calls us to do what we can do. So it's the voice. But the voices of defeat that say, like, what's the point? We've lost it all. That's the voice of the devil. If you've got to fight, folks, you've got to keep speaking, keep doing what you can do. God will decide when it's over. Every generation, every decade, and every day on every platform you have, I'm looking at millions of voices and votes right up in this hall right now. I don't mean hundreds.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Millions. We have influence. We do. Use your power. Use your authority. Use your influence. Well, we're going to leave it there. I've just been privileged to speak here with Alveda King. And I want to say, if you want to find her, you can go to alveda king.com. That's exactly it. Yep. If you want to find me, go to Eric Mitazacis.com. Alvita King, I just want to say thank you for your voice. God bless you. And thank you for your time with us today. Thank you, brother. that we all have an obligation to keep the republic. Many of you know my book,
Starting point is 00:40:33 If You Can Keep It, The Forgotten Promise of American Liberty. In my book, If You Can Keep It, I talk about how every single one of us has an obligation to keep the republic. It doesn't keep itself. The Constitution is a dead document, unless we live it out, it's just sitting there. It's a piece of paper. And part of that is being active citizens, being sometimes activist citizens in keeping the
Starting point is 00:41:05 Republic. Part of that is informing ourselves about what's going on, about what is true, and then taking action. But sometimes taking action is just informing ourselves. So I want to mention to you, there is a film we've talked about it quite a bit, the real Anthony Fauci is a film. It was a book. It is a book, the real Anthony Fauci.
Starting point is 00:41:28 But it's a film. And you can see it for free. I believe the rest of this week, the real Anthony Fauci movie.com is the website. The real Anthony Fauci movie. com is the website. I have seen it. And I just want to say,
Starting point is 00:41:48 it's delightful that somebody has made a film out of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s book because it puts all the pieces together and it educates us. We need to educate ourselves. We need to know what is going on so we can be a part of the solution. It is a vital thing. It's kind of like, you know, a basic duty, you know, when you're drafted into the army during the time of war, when you are asked to do jury duty, when you ask to pay your taxes, when you ask to vote, we have to do these things. And so I want to say, please go to the real Anthony Fauci movie.com. Please watch it. I also want to say that we need your help in spreading the word about what we're doing on this program. So we invite you to sign up at my website, Eric Mataxis.com.

Starting point is 00:43:35 letter to the American church. And I said, well, finally, I said, okay, let's create a study guide. So we created a study guide. You can buy the study guide.
