A Texas show with your host, Eric Mettaxas.
Uh-oh.
Robin. Do you know what time it is?
I know.
It's time. It's time. I'm kind of scared. It's hour two on Thursday, which means it can mean only one thing.
I know.
Actually, it can mean many, many things.
but here's what I think it means.
I think it means it's time for a segment of ask metaxus.
That's when people send in questions.
We choose them semi-randomely,
and then you read the questions to me,
and I am tasked with trying to answer the questions that people have sent in.
I hope that's not too complicated.
I'm going to ask you then to read the question.
I will do my best folks, okay?
I'm in an isolation booth.
There you go.
No one has tipped me off.
I'm just going to sit here and just do my best and to be honest about it.
So, Alvin, let's start.
You just start with the first question.
Okay, here's the first one.
This is from Kurt Schmidt, our friend there in Tucson, Arizona.
He said, hi, Eric.
My family and I had a delicious dinner last night at an authentic Greek restaurant.
It was our first time eating there.
I want to go back someday, but I don't want to embarrass myself by mispronouncing menu items.
I'd like to hear you say Tirasaganaki, Musaka, and Sokolotopita.
Would you be willing to do so?
Kurt, let me just be honest with you.
I don't need this kind of harassment or harassment from anybody, much less from you, Kurt Schmidt in Tucson, Arizona.
But I'm going to take it.
I'm going to take it because that's what I signed up for, man.
So I'm going to try to pronounce these words correctly.
Okay.
I may fail.
But, okay, the first one, and, Alvin, you did a pretty good job.
Oh, thank you.
And you're a non-Greek as far as I know.
I know.
But the first one is Tiri, Saganaki.
Okay?
Tiri is cheese.
That's where you get Tiro pita.
Tiri is cheese and pita is like pie or whatever, or Spanacopita, spinach pie.
Diri is cheese.
Saganaiki is the type.
of the cheese. It's the kind of cheese that they put some alcohol on it and they light it on fire.
And it's really, really dramatic unless you actually get burned by it, in which case it will have
failed to be entertaining. But it's called Diri Saganaki. Most people just say Saginaaki because
it's the type of cheese. Okay, then we have the very simple musaka. People also say Musaka,
because we're in America and we twist things a little bit. But
The Greek people are saying musaka, musaka.
So we have Didi Saganaki and Musaka.
And then the last one, Sokolatopita.
Sokolatopita.
Actually, I'm not familiar with this.
And I think this is, I think in Tucson, Arizona, where Kurt Schmidt lives, there's some Greek restaurant.
And they're kind of going off the grid and they're doing kind of American Greek stuff.
Because I think this is chocolate pie.
Sokolatopita.
And that's not Greek.
In fact, it is so un-Greek that it's almost Turkish, and I'm offended as a Greek.
I'm offended by it.
But it would be pronounced sokolatopita.
Oh, that's great.
It sounds delicious, by the way.
Okay, let's get on the question number two.
A joke for you.
What's the difference between Wiley Coyote and the FBI?
All right.
This actually is confusing because it's not really a question because it is a joke, right?
So what's the difference between Wiley Coyote and the FBI?
I obviously don't know the answer.
Okay.
But what is the answer provided by the person who asked the question?
They said Wiley Coyote suffers consequences.
It's actually not just funny but sad.
Yeah.
Yeah, the FBI does not suffer consequences when they do evil things.
And Wiley Coyote manifestly does every time usually involving an Anvil.
Okay.
We'll give people a chance to laugh.
And we'll go on for the next one.
Question number three.
What are your thoughts on banned books?
Do you think books on gender should be banned, but not books that have racism or are deeply disturbing?
Isn't it the same vein?
Isn't it in the same vein?
Okay.
Let me help you.
Thank you.
Who should be able to choose?
Well, man, this gets to the question of what it is to live in a democracy, right?
I mean, the idea of banned books, we know that.
that you don't want pornography on library shelves, certainly not in a school.
You know, we have to use wisdom on these kinds of things.
But in terms of what we allow in public life, the idea that books considered classics would be banned is preposterous.
And I think that I'm much more worried about books that are not banned, books that have,
that are really
that have views
and again, when we talk about things like
censorship or banning books, you have to talk about
the context. Are we talking about a public library?
Are we talking about banned from being sold on Amazon?
I mean, you can buy Mind Kumpf on Amazon.
You can buy every foul thing
on Amazon,
but they have banned books
like my friend Ryan Anderson
wrote a book talking about
the transgender madness
when Harry became
Sally. They banned that book.
Abigail Schreier
wrote a book. They banned that
book from, so it really depends
on the context, but
generally speaking, going
back to John Milton
in the mid-17th century,
he wrote a famous
essay called Aeropagitica
where he talks about
this issue. You want to
err on the side of more information,
not less information. So when people
start banning things, the question is,
who bans them. This really gets into a gigantic conversation, but I will, I'm generally not in favor
of banning anything, but if you're talking about schools, I'm in favor of banning everything that you
don't think would be great for the kids to read because you're the parents and it's your job to
decide. Next question. What do you think about drugs? Do you think marijuana should be illegal
in all states? I think drugs are a scourge. It depends on what kind of drugs we're talking about.
But I definitely think marijuana should never have been legalized.
I think actually it's one of those things where you kind of wink at it and you turn a blind eye.
But it is doing a lot of harm.
And we're not hearing that side of this story.
It has been illegal for all of our lives until very recently.
And it's quite different from alcohol.
You know, I think that just to keep it short, I will say, I think,
No one should ever smoke pot.
I think it's bad.
I think it leads to bad things.
I think it ruins lives.
So I'm not in favor of its legalization.
And it stinks to high heaven.
And man does it stink.
Boy, will Russia lose the war, Eric?
What were we talking about?
Looks like the one they're involved in now.
I have no idea what is happening over there.
Because every time I think about the suffering.
of the people who live in Ukraine,
I think about the fact that because we have no leadership
in the White House in America,
that's what opened the door to this aggression.
It has opened the door to all kinds of other horrors.
And so I don't know what's going to happen.
But, you know, my heart breaks for the people over there.
I'll leave it at that.
Okay.
The next question, is any part of you excited for the new football season?
Is any part of you excited for the new football season?
Well, there was once a part of me that was excited for the football season,
but that part of me, namely my four wisdom teeth, were removed in my senior year of college.
And that was the part of me that was excited about the football season.
And so there's really no longer any part of me that is excited about the football season.
I'll have to leave it there.
I think it's tonight.
I think the official kickoff is tonight.
I'm not sure because I used to be excited until the Pittsburgh Steelers became the Pittsburgh kneelers.
And then I said, I'm out of here first.
Yeah, they've gone woke.
And so I'm going to vote by saying, no, thank you.
Okay.
Final question.
Okay.
Missletoe and blank.
Now, the clue is a Frank Sinatra song.
Missletoe.
Now, do we know the right answer if I give it?
You know what?
I didn't have time to check the Google.
As long as we know whom.
to blame, Albin. That's really the point. My guess would be
mistletoe and holly. It's
kind of a strange question to include. I don't know who compiles these questions,
but I think the answer is mistletoe and holly.
It's a Christmas song. I'm not sure why it's here. Folks, I don't know anything
anymore. All I know is we're out of time. Lucky for you, we're out of time.
We'll be right back. In case you haven't been paying attention,

Hey there, folks. I wanted to continue my conversation with Rabbi Jonathan Kahn. And everybody said, no, we hate that guy. I said, you can't say that he's right here. Welcome, Jonathan Kahn.
Listen, you, the conversation with you that we've been having about your new book, The Return of the Gods, I really wanted to just keep going because it is so rich.
Let me ask you a question before we get into the more substantive stuff. But because I didn't ask it in the first hour.
But where did you get the idea or how do you form the idea for a book like The Return of the Gods?
Again, your thesis is that these ancient false gods, these ancient deities, which are demonic powers, have come to America with a vengeance.
But at what point did you begin putting these pieces together?
How does that work for you?
Yeah.
Well, I mean, a lot of times with the books, Eric, you know, something comes and then it leads to the next and the next and the next and the next.
I can never reproduce that process.
With this, actually, I look back the year after I wrote the Harbinger, I actually shared it, Beth Israel, the congregation I lead in Jersey.
It was actually a message called the Dark Trinity.
And now I never got as deep.
I didn't open up it.
But I knew that I knew what Jesus said when he gave that parable.
I knew about the turning back when you turn back.
That wasn't just for a person.
That applies to civilization.
Okay, that parable, because I want to be clear with the audience, I don't know where it is in the Gospels,
but when Jesus says that, you know, a demon is cast out, and if the person who's had the demon cast out or whatever does not change and in a sense live rightly, then seven more demons will come back or the demon will come back with seven more demons.
and it'll be far worse than it was.
And you make the case, I think, very persuasively,
that that is what has happened to the United States of America.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, look, we know this is happening.
And we haven't had really so many examples in history.
We had a process of Christianization at the beginning of this age, you know,
and it has been a quote Christian civilization, certainly Christian-based, you know.
But now we're witnessing something of great magnitude.
We're witnessing a massive,
of turning away from America and the West.
You know, now we've seen it in specialized cases like Nazi Germany, like the Soviet Union,
and we saw how demonic that got.
But now we're watching it on a massive scale.
So what's going to happen if we turn away from this faith?
There's, what's going to be left?
Well, according to that principle is that, you know, it's going to be worse in the end.
And when you empty out God, it's kind of like we've been watching a mass exorcism of God in our culture.
We've been exercising the Spirit of God, driving.
him out. Well, something's coming in. You know, in the early 60s, they said, okay, we'll just take
prayer out of school. I think that's a little thing. Look at what has come now into school. So it's
never going to, the house is never remaining empty. And so what are, where is this all leading?
Well, yeah. Actually, let me, let me just say because this, I only thought of this in the last year when I
came out with my book is atheism dead. The cover of the book is what they call Uruboros.
It's a picture of a snake swallowing its own tail.
And I thought to myself, there's a logical, this is, in other words, the reason in some ways it's easy to talk about this is you're talking about this thing called reality.
And no matter which way you go, all you have to do is follow the truth and the truth is the truth.
So when you remove God, so somebody who says, oh, I'm an atheist or I don't believe you.
When you take God away, the idea would be like, well, we're just going to be neutral.
We're not going to have, you know, we're just going to be neutral.
And you realize, no, no, that's not what happens.
When you take God away, you bring in a spirit of nihilism, a spirit of nothingness, a spirit
that says, who's to say what truth is?
I determine what truth is.
It always leads in dramatically dark directions.
And that's the case you're making.
It's like, you know, in the 60s when they took prayer out of the schools and they do this and do that,
they have no idea what they are unleashing. And you and I have lived through these decades.
We have watched the result of when you push the Lord of hosts out of American schools and culture and government,
what eventually comes in is a nightmare.
Yes. And to the point, we alluded to that point that people who are not even Christians are saying,
what is going on, this is crazy, it's irrational. It's not a secularism. It's irrational.
at what is now coming into kindergartens.
You know, you know, this is what, this is what happened.
But in the Bible, it's what happened.
When Israel turned away from God, they didn't come to nothing.
It didn't come to neutrality.
It went to these gods.
And the thing that, the thing that I saw when I started, I knew I had to do it.
I knew the time was now because I knew it's racing to this.
But when I did it, then I started opening up.
It's not, it's specific.
It's exact.
It's specific pattern, specific.
Even the mythology of these gods is manifested.
in what we're seeing. The same ones affecting everything. And when you take God out, it always ends up
to death. It always ends up to destruction. Destruction of family, destruction of marriages. We're
watched it all once you take out God, and it hasn't stopped. And again, folks, you have to understand
it's always presented in a reasonable way. For example, if somebody makes the case for same-sex marriage,
they say, what harm will it do? It's not going to affect your marriage. And these things are simply
not true. If they were true,
then you could say, okay, in America
you can do as you like,
and as long as it doesn't affect other people,
you don't have to agree with my morality,
you do what you like. But the point is
these things always,
always, always lead
beyond what even many of their
well-intentioned proponents
believed. I mean, we've heard
a gay activist, whether it's Andrew Sullivan or others,
say, like, we had no idea
that it was going to go in this direction.
We're sorry. We didn't know. You know, there was
a video of a lesbian woman talking about this because when you see the sexualization of children,
when you see, you know, drag queen's story hours, you just put your hand over your mouth and you
think, what in the world is happening? How did it ever even conceivably get to this point?
Yeah, and it could not have gone in another direction because once you take that out, that's where
it's going. That's the point. And when you look back, we spoke about this goddess and in the
book I call her The Transformer.
One of the things, we see what's happening to children.
Well, one of the things that she did, she had a priesthood that was blurring the lines of sexuality.
We said, I mentioned men dressed up as women.
And now we have this returning to the culture.
Okay, let me just clarify in case anybody's tuning in late, okay?
The book is The Return of the Gods by Jonathan Kahn and the three principal false gods, these demonic powers.
Bail, the possessor, Asthma, Astorith or Ishtar,
the Transformer, and then finally the destroyer, Mollock.
So you're talking now about the goddess, this demonic power, Ishtarath, that in the ancient world,
they knew that what this was.
They would cut down these, these, I'm sorry, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the Ashera Poles, this was a pronouncedly sexual.
religion, false religion.
And you're saying that, guess what?
It's back. It starts out
just sexualizing. She takes
sexuality out of
marriage and sexualizes the culture
with it. All of a sudden, when we've seen a
sexualized culture all over, where did all that sexuality
come from? It came from marriage. That's
why marriage was weakened. So that's the first
part she does. But the second part is, then
she starts taking sexuality out of gender.
She starts to do it. It's the next
de-contextualization
of it. And so what you see
there is that one of the things that she did is her priests were actually surgically altered.
They were surgically altered that affected their hormones, all that. And you even had,
Eric, I looked at some of the ancient writings about this goddess. It actually has her sexually
altered, surgically altered priest dancing before her holding scalples, like celebrating this.
She was the goddess who transitioned. She herself was female but with male attributes. She
she's the one. So when you look at the whole, the whole phenomenon of transsexuality,
now, now where it's even worse is at the beginning, you know, it was, it was her priesthood,
but now it is seeking an entire generation. It's seeking children. Now the key for me,
or one of the keys here that I don't want to forget to say, folks, is that most people in America,
whether you are a Christian or not a Christian, it doesn't matter. Most people look at what's
happening with the transgender madness and they say,
What is this?
Where did it come from?
What in the world is happening?
We are hearing now the answer to that, which is to say this is a spiritual thing.
This has been around.
You can read the literature from three millennia ago.
This kind of thing has been around since the beginning of time.
And it is spiritual.
It is sick.
And it is returning.
So this is not just like, hey, we've discovered some new hormone.
therapies and everybody can do what they want. There is a spiritual component to this. And most people,
you do not need to be a person of faith to see this is crazy. This is, this is harming children.
This doesn't make any human sense. What is behind this? Well, we're hearing what's behind it.
Yeah. And you know what, Eric, it was the gospel that ended these things. You know, it was the gospel that
back then, if we were alive 2,000 years ago or 3,000 years ago, we would have seen these, the
the transformation of sexuality, the altering of sexuality, the blending of gender.
That was part of paganism and specifically part of this goddess.
And actually, this whole thing began, I mean, as we know it, this whole movement began of altering
sexuality, of pride and all that, began right here in New York City, not far from where we are.
When we come back, we're going to talk about Stonewall, talking to Jonathan Khan.
The new book is The Return of the Gods.
Tell me, Eric, why is relief factors so successful at lower
or eliminating pain. I'm often asked that question. The owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe
our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal. And I agree with them. So the doctors
who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best ingredients, yes, 100% drug-free ingredients,
each helps your body deal with inflammation. Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation
from a different metabolic pathway. And that right there, approaching from four different

Feel the difference.
Folks, welcome back talking to Jonathan Kahn.
The new book is The Return of the Gods.
And we are talking about where we are in America, what is happening.
And you just said in your inimitable way, you find these things, these moments in history,
these totemic images like the bull on Wall Street.
You do the same thing in the book with the so-called stonewall riots, that there was a bar in New York that was known to be.
you know, the hangout of, they didn't even call them gay in those days.
But somehow, I guess it was in the summer of 1969, there's the famous Stonewall Riot.
So people always refer to that as that's what kicked off the modern gay rights movement.
And before we get into this, folks, I just want to say, my heart goes out to these broken people who would, in many cases, go to.
places like this. They were lost. They were confused. So we're not talking about, you know,
beating up on those poor souls. But what we're talking about is what came out of that.
So Jonathan, talk about in your book, The Return of the Gods, Stonewall, and its significance.
Yeah. The, this is, you know, it was the matrix of what has happened. And when I looked at what
happened, it was that night, all these signs of this particular.
goddess manifests.
I'll just give it a little taste.
One of the things is it says she's the goddess of the eshtam is what they called it.
She ruled over the eshtam.
The eshtam is a bar or a tavern.
That's where she focused what she did.
Stonewall centers on a eshtam.
It says there's something called the dance of Ishtar.
And that is when she's in warfare.
She danced, according to the mythology, and brought destruction.
In the middle of the riot, a whole segment of the people,
start dancing and as they dance they're chanting words that link up with the
inscriptions of Ishtar in the middle of that the dance of Isha they don't know what
they're doing what kind of words what they mean they say okay the the people the
dancing girls of Ishtar were called the I think of this right is the
Nezaru if I'm saying or Kezaru and what it means is they are the people who
wear they're the girls who wear their hair in curls they were
They were her priests and they did dancing.
Well, they are the girls who wear their hair in curls.
Now, the dance that was done on Stonewall are men dancing as women, and they say, we are the
Stonewall girls.
We wear our hair in curls.
Okay, this is the key point that has to be made here, folks.
First of all, you don't have to buy this if you don't want to.
The guts of this are right.
So some of these details, you might go, ah, I'm not going to buy it.
But your point that you make over and over in all of your books,
is that oftentimes people say things having no idea of this strange significance,
of this prophetic significance.
That's right.
You have quoted presidents saying things.
They have no idea what they're saying.
And you look back and you go, holy cow, this is crazy that these are the words that this
president or president or whatever.
They make these statements.
So the idea that you're saying to me that they would.
would say that then you don't have to buy it, folks,
but I got to tell you, it's at least very interesting.
Yeah, and it's, that night is filled with the signs.
And another example, we have the word stonewall.
That's the, you know, everything we see with the parades,
that all goes back to Stonewall.
Well, in the writings of the goddess,
it's, and they were trying to break into the stonewall.
They were trying to break into the bar.
In the writings of the goddess,
it says that you are the stone,
the goddess who breaks the stone wall,
breaks the stone wall.
there. Not only that, there's a woman there that night who actually triggers everything. And the woman
has the characteristics of this goddess. I won't go into any detail except to say she triggered the
whole thing. And the thing is that the goddess was called the storm. Says you are the loud,
thundering storm, Ishtar. You're the storm that causes a storm all that. The woman's name was storm or storme
who caused this whole thing. And the very timing of it, the very timing, there's one month that the goddess
So all these things happen in. It's the month of Tamos. That's the month of the goddess.
That's when it happened. It happened at the time around the summer solstice.
The goddess was linked to the full moon, happened on the weekend of the full moon.
There's so much to this. In fact, in fact, Eric, the day that they sealed Stonewall,
the day that it was sealed, it was marked with a warrant, was the day on the Babylonian calendar
that says this day is appointed to cast a spell to cause a man to love a man.
You see, again, folks, you at least have to be lured into thinking, could this be significant?
How strange.
Every one of these, you know, seeming coincidences adds up in one direction.
And again, you at least have to be astonished at the fact that over and over again, this stuff kind of piles up.
Yeah, and it's not just one thing.
I mean, it's our whole culture.
It's everything happening.
I'll give you an example.
And this is affecting all of us.
We are, you know, one of the things we've seen in our culture is these, the parades, the pride parades have taken over culture.
I mean, it's happening all over the place. Whatever you think of it, it's taken over culture.
Well, the goddess was the goddess of parades. It says in the ancient tablets, they all parade before you.
What kind of parades do we see in the ancient inscriptions?
Parades of men dressing as women and parading down the streets. Women parading as men.
These were the parades of the goddess. It's when, in fact,
In fact, Eric, this is a, you know, when is the month?
There's an entire month right now that is the month that has, you know,
where all this goes in full blacks.
There was a month that the goddess especially possessed a culture.
And what was that month?
It was the month called Tamos, which is named after her lover.
And in that month, it was identified by the ancient,
I looked at the writings of St. Jerome.
And he's talking about the processions of the goddess.
When was it? He identifies the month as Junium. The month of June is the month of the goddess, and it's back.
We'll be right back with Rabbi Jonathan Khan. The book is The Return of the Gods.

Talking to Jonathan Kahn. The new book is the return of the gods. So what else can we touch on? The rainbow. Yeah. Well, the rainbow has been, I mean, now we all know the rainbow is from God and the rainbow is a holy thing. But we've watched the rainbow kind of morph into something very not of God.
And it's influencing our entire culture.
It's everywhere, everywhere.
On American embassies, they fly the rainbow.
In children's cereal boxes in the supermarket, they have the rainbow.
I mean, it's everywhere, which has become the representation of a movement of altered sexuality.
Now, we said this is the goddess of altered sexuality.
Well, here's the thing.
This goddess, the sign of the god, the sign linked to the goddess was the sign of the rainbow.
This goes back to the, even the epic of Gilgamel.
She is linked. She is credited as being the creator of the rainbow in her her mythology. It says she's the goddess with rainbow eyes. It says when she, during one of her myths, it says she stretches across the sky as a rainbow. This is the sign of the goddess. And interesting because in the myth, she's also, it says that she actually steals things from other gods to literally she's stolen the rainbow to, to, to,
to be the sign of that actually goes against God.
Now I'm not saying that, again, the people who are doing,
they don't know this, but it's actually a sign of war,
of what she becomes as a rainbow to execute vengeance and war.
So we are watching this sign of Andrew.
By the way, in the book, I won't go through it, in the book,
every color of the rainbow, by their own significance that they gave it,
goes with this goddess.
And so everything, it is affecting everything,
sign of marking of ownership.
So when people, they don't know what they're doing.
When they're waving this, they have no idea.
This is actually something dark that goes back to the goddess.
And I want to say, too, because I just think it's important for us to understand that when men parade as women or women parade as men or any of this kind of thing, whether they know it or don't, some of them do and some of them don't, they're shaking their fists at God.
They're saying that we hate your order.
The order that you have created, you made me.
as a man, I defy it, I want to be a woman, I will dress as a woman, I will flaunt it. And it has become
increasingly hostile. In other words, this kind of these displays of sexuality are, they really are
kind of, they're, they're not afraid to partake of the darkness, of the dark sexuality. In other
was they're no longer talking about, oh, just let me love who I want or whatever. The kind of
language has become increasingly hostile and dark, and it is ultimately at war against the God
of the Bible. It's at war against the order that he has established in marriage and family.
Yeah, and actually, when you look, Eric, at the ancient descriptions of her parades, it says
they were at war with the order of the society. They actually were overturning
this. I was actually reading a
quote by someone who's not
Christian. Actually, they were into the trans movement
and they said, they were reading these ancient things.
This is like a gay pride parade. This is what the goddess did.
And so, you know, and the other thing is that this was around
the time of St. Jerome.
Okay. So it was the gospel
that gradually ended these parades of June
or summer parades. The fact that they're back
is a stark sign that we have been paganized.
And it's going back to where it was.
give you a very dramatic example. There have been three Supreme Court decisions, you know, in this time,
that have been linked to this altering of sexuality. One was in 2003, had to do with same sexuality.
And the, another was 2013 was striking down the defense of marriage act. And the final one was
2015 when marriage, as we know it, was redefined after thousands of years. Now, the thing is that
the time of the goddess, remember, he says around June, and it's around the summer solstice, the end of June.
you can find, Eric, you can actually find old Bible commentaries, and they'll talk about June already from 100 years ago, 200 years ago, about link to the goddess.
Well, the thing is that the Supreme Court decision in 2003 happened at the end of June, the end of June, the end of June, the day's of the summer solstice.
The one in 2013, June, month of Tamo's end of June, summer solstice.
The one in 2015, same thing, June end of, and they actually all took place on the same exact day.
June 26. June 26
is the anniversary of when Stonewall was sealed
with this warrant. And do you remember the night? I think everybody does.
When all there were rainbows lit up,
the White House was lit up with a rainbow on the night that marriage was
redefined to same-sex marriage. Well, this is the sign of the goddess.
That night was the 10th of Tammuz. That night in the Babylonian calendar,
the ancient calendar, is the night appointed, the day appointed,
to cast the spell to cause a man.
to love a man. Well, this is, I mean, again, if people are, are being skeptical or have questions,
which we should, right? You could say, hey, wait a minute, look, all the Supreme Court decisions
come down in June. Well, okay, that's interesting. But we're talking about June 26th.
Yeah. We're talking about the anniversary of Stonewall. We're talking about what you just mentioned,
this Tammuz in the month of Tammuz, the Tenth of Tammuz. So it's layer upon
layer. Yeah. And it's consistent. And it's absolutely chilling when you start thinking this is
simply called reality. This goes back into, I mean, if you want proof of God, you want proof of that
there's their patterns in history. There don't need to be, but if there's a God of history,
you're going to see these patterns. You're going to see it both ways. Yes. And I'll just,
in the time we have to say a few things. One is that we've got like 90 seconds. What do we do?
Remember when the gods were cast out by the gospel, the gods were cast out by Christians.
So they have a target now for Christians, a target on the gospel.
That's why they're trying to drive out the word because it drove them out.
So we are in a war.
Also, the end game of the gods is every knee shall bow down.
Remember, Bail.
Every knee shall bow.
And so at the beginning, it's all tolerance.
You open the door.
But once these spirits are in power, it's every knee.
And the same time, so I always end with hope and encouragement.
The last part of the book is called The Other God.
Our God is much more powerful.
believers are praying that we we I wish I could live in biblical times congratulations you're in biblical times
these you know the Elijah dealt with the gods Moses dealt with the gods Paul dealt with the gods we are strong but we have to stand we have to stand we cannot give into this darkness we cannot bow our knee the god of the Bible our God is alive and well okay and just to give you a to do list folks say what do I do well let me tell you it's pretty simple if you want to save the country if you want to save this generation
and the next generation, make sure your own life is right with God.
Whatever there is in your life that you know is wrong, repent and turn it over to God.
If you want to know what's wrong with this country, whatever that sin is, that's what's wrong
with the country.
If the people of God will do the right thing, speak the truth when it's uncomfortable,
repent of whatever is going on in your life and live a holy life and turn your heart to God,
you will then see change in the culture.
Jonathan Kahn, a joy to have you, folks.
The book is The Return of the Gods.
Thank you.
Thank you, Eric.
One stories away.
Hey there, folks.
Before we go, we just want to remind you of homework.
There's a lot of homework that we ask you to do.
If the dog eats your homework, we don't want to hear about that.
We want you to not tell us about that.
Here's the homework.
for a lot of homework, Albin.
I don't know if even as the teacher, I have trepidation.
First of all, folks, we need you to support our sponsors on this program.
We need your help.
Our sponsors on the program are Mike Lindell with mypillow.com and my store.com.
Nutrametics, neutrametics.com.
If you use the code Eric at any of those places, we have revenue shares with them.
So it helps us pay for the radio program.
But as you know, we do not partner with people that we don't believe in.
The folks at Neutrametics and our friends at MyPillow.com and my store.com, these are heroes.
And I want to recommend them to you with all my heart.
I got to tell you, Mike Lindell, as I've got to know him over the years,
it's hard to be more authentic than that guy.
If you've ever read his biography, it's insane.
It's his story.
By the way, you can get it at my store.com and my pillow.com, but it is absolutely, if you want to understand how he got to be who he is, you almost won't believe it.
The first chapter will give you heart palpitations because of what this guy has been through.
He was, as you know, addicted to cocaine, super high functioning crazy man and genius.
But God turned his life around.
And he is now one of the great American heroes who has, he's living his whole life to try to store integrity to a voting process.
And I just want to recommend to you if you know anyone who doesn't know about my pillow.com or
my store.com and to use the code Eric, please tell your friends to go to those places and to use the
code Eric. Yeah. And on top of all of that that Mike Lindell has accomplished, he has made a great,
I mean a great cup of coffee. If you have not yet tried my coffee, if you have not tried Mike
Lindell's coffee, you've got to go there, use the code Eric because seriously, it is great, great
coffee. And it's keeping me awake right now. No kidding. No, it is actually funny this morning when I made
the coffee, my coffee from my store.com with the code Eric, I thought to myself, I'm so glad that I love
this coffee because, you know, when your friend does something, you just want to love everything your
friends do. And I thought if it was kind of like, eh, I don't like it that much, but I love it. It's my
coffee from my store.com. Please use the code, Eric. Otherwise, it doesn't take it. It's a lot. Otherwise, it doesn't
taste that good. It's a little bitter if you don't use the code Eric. But it is almost funny.
So your homework, of course, is to support mystore.com, my pillow.com, neutrametics.com,
and use the code Eric. Also, please sign up for the newsletter at Ericmetaxis.com. That's my

City with Andrew Claven. We now have one happening in Houston with James Tor, Holy Cow, in Houston on
October 12th. We'll have more coming up this fall. It's very exciting. A lot of stuff going on.
And I'm speaking everywhere because it's just such a busy season in my life. But I'm going to be
in Colorado Springs all weekend. My new book is Letter.
to the American church.
Yeah.
And I'm speaking everywhere I go.
I'll be reading it this weekend.
So I'm excited.
I'm frightened at the thought of you're reading it.
When my friends read my books, it kind of scares me.
It's like, what are they going to think?
They're going to think, I don't know about this one, Eric.
Folks, we are grateful to all of you for being a part of what we try to do here by God's
grace.
So thanks for tuning in.
