The Texas show with your host, Eric Mettaxas.
Yousy, yousy, yousa.
Hey, I think today is, what's today?
Thursday already.
Okay, Albin, I don't know about you, but I had a hard day yesterday.
You did.
I had a hard day.
Well, I mean, in some ways it was really.
wonderful. We've had some amazing interviews. We're going to play one of them in a couple of minutes.
By the way, I might as well say who it is.
Joshua Phillips is with the Epic Times, E-P-O-C-H Times. I see him everywhere I go.
They are heroes. They're the last bastion of journalism, it seems. They've made a documentary
about January 6th. I hope everyone will see it. We'll talk to him. But we interviewed him
yesterday. I also
interviewed Jonathan Isaacs
of the NBA
Orlando Magic, which was amazing.
Yeah. We're going to air that tomorrow.
Folks, he's like next
level. It's incredible.
Then we talk to my friend Jim
Kuntler, which I think we'll air that
Monday, maybe Tuesday. Jim
Kuntzler, I don't know how you describe a guy like
him. I'll try
tomorrow, but it's always difficult to describe
something because he's so, he's done
so many different kinds of things. But I just
want to introduce my audience. He's been on the program, but never in the studio.
Yeah. But it was just, it was just a lot in the day. And then Suzanne and I had to go, as most
people know, if you're listening to the program, we are doing four episodes, four tapings of a late
night talk show. It's, you know, it's this late night show. We're filming it here, August 3rd,
fourth, fifth, and 8th. If you want to come, we are going to be sending you a
information. Now, it is first come first served. And obviously people in the New York area,
there's, you know, there are people who put together audiences for you when you're doing tapings.
And we've got four. So if you want to come, as soon as you get this email from us, respond,
because it'll be first come, first served. And friends of mine or friends of the show, you will get
the best seats and whatever. But you've got to respond quickly because. But the reason yesterday was a
tough day was Suzanne and I went after the show to get me fitted for a suit for the show.
Because, you know, when you're taping a late night show, you know, you need a new suit.
You need to do it.
And we went to the place.
I will, as a favor, I won't mention their name.
But we go to the place and when you get to this out, yeah, we don't have stuff on the rack for you to try on.
That's all down in Tribeca.
Huh.
And of course, Suzanne said, well, I just made this appointment the other day.
and you said you had it here.
And he says, yeah, we moved down to Tribeca for these reasons.
So it was a huge wasted trip.
But that's okay because it's only 4,000 degrees outside and impossible to get a cab.
So yesterday was just one of those days where, you know, you just can't.
I went to Kmart.
It's buy one, get three free.
Really?
I'm all set.
So you're all set in terms of wardrobe.
Yep, four days.
So it's crazy getting ready for the show.
It's insane.
It's insane.
All right.
And then last night in Manhattan, Jim Cuncelor spoke at an event.
Oh, yeah.
And we went to that.
was fantastic. He's amazing. He's just amazing. It was at the Metropolitan Republican
Club up on the Upper East Side. It was incredible. But the heat in New York right now, I mean,
I was just in Vegas where it was literally 110. It's not as bad as here. Here, the humidity
is so thick. It's like being on the planet Venus. You just want to lie down and die. The
thickness of it is unbelievable. But by the Lord's grace, we'll get through. Okay. So today
we have Josh Phillips. We will also have him partially in hour two. We're going to do an
Ask Metaxus today. Today's the day we do it. And I'm warning you. An hour two every week,
hour two, the first segment is an Ask Mataxis. And we got, we've got some pretty good questions.
Oh yeah. I think the one, one of the questions asks me if I could live in a Midwestern state,
which would be, I think you're going to be surprised at my answer. I think you're going to be
surprised at my answer. That's coming up in Hour Two.
today in the first segment.
And then later, after we're done with Josh Phillips,
the Talbot's come on.
Now, you know Pete and Seth Talbot,
they're the people behind, relief factor.
They sold the company.
They're doing all this stuff right now.
I had dinner with them when I was in Seattle recently.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
And when you get together with them in person,
in the studio, they have to be professional.
But in person, they're just a typical father and son.
And it's so funny to see the dynamic,
because they love each other so much,
Did they tease each other?
But what I love is that Pete Talbot, who's the dad, he used the phrase, he said,
Holy mackerel.
And his son, Seth, was like, holy mackerel.
Like, what, dad, what, what, and it was so funny to see the generation gap because I love the phrase
holy mackerel, but it is kind of like, you know, if you're in your 70s, you might use that
or older, but, but the younger generation doesn't say holy mackle.
But I just, I just had such fun with them.
There's such wonderful people and friends, and I just have to say how much I enjoyed being with them.
Anyway, okay, so speaking of friends, Mike Lindell is launching a coffee brand.
Yeah, he is.
Now, you know, if you're going to go to, now, I do hope that listeners go to MyStore.com to get my books and to get the Bonhoeffer poster.
There's all kinds of other stuff there.
There's like tons of stuff.
In fact, you know what?
We should go on the website and see the new stuff and talk about it
because I know they have all this new stuff and I've just been so busy.
I've got to say something real quick, though.
I'm confused.
He has the pillow to make you sleep.
Now he's got the coffee to keep you awake.
That's right.
Which way is he going?
That's what they did to like Elvis and Judy Garland.
They pump him up with uppers, then the downers to sleep and up and next thing you know, they're dead.
Okay, we need to dial it back a little bit.
Excuse us.
I have to say I'm excited about trying Mike Lindell's My Coffee.
I like the idea.
It's my coffee.
Let me finish my coffee, will you?
Get your hands off my mind.
Get away from me.
Let me at least finish my coffee.
I just, I remember once I was in a diner and there was like a father and his kids were
like, and he said, can I finish my coffee?
And it's like there's this thing, this proprietary thing about my kids.
Let me finish, at least finish my coffee, all right?
Kids.
So anyway, I find it funny that it's called My Coffee.
So if you go to my store.com, you can order my coffee, and you can use the code, Eric.
That's my code, Eric.
For extra caffeine.
And basically, Mike Lindell, look, Mike Lindell never does anything in half measures.
No.
The towels are like the thirstiest, most wonderful towels, the pillows just glancing at them, makes you feel soporific.
And basically, now he's got coffee.
So my store.com, my pillow.com, support the team.
You got to support the team.
You got to support the team.
Mypillar.com, my store.com, my coffee, my pillow, my slippers.
They've got it all.
And it's all mine.
Use the code, Eric.
Don't forget.
All right, now look, we don't want to forget also to tell you that SalemNow.com, there's all kinds of stuff there.
Jonathan Khan's new film is there.
Yeah, it is.
The Harbinger something.
Yeah.
It's like son of Harbinger.
Harbinger of things to come.
He's going to be in the studio next week.
Okay.
Because we had, first he had Harbinger, then a son of Harbinger, then bride of Harbinger,
then Harbinger, Abinand and Costello meet Harbinger.
And Harbinger and the Wolfman.
And, you know, like, Harbinger.
So go to SalemNow.com.
Yeah.
And don't forget, there's a film about Michelle Obama, 2024.
We kind of need to do a.
research on these people. If we done our research, I mean, Sean Hannity did the research on Obama,
and nobody listened to him. They thought, oh, you're making too much of it. And he turned out,
it turned out all to be true. So Sean Hannity gets credit. Got to give credit where credit is too.
He was the one that had outed Obama as basically a Marxist, you know, from Chicago, like one of these
radical Marxists who smiles and, you know, he looks nice. But his agenda was to fundamentally
transform America.
And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for we the people,
to elect Donald Trump.
Yeah.
If only he would have told us he was going to fundamentally transform America.
See, he hid that.
He hid that.
Except he said it over and over and over again.
Well, look, we are now suffering under a false administration, which is trying to do the same
thing.
So we joke, but of course, there's nothing, there's nothing funny about it.
So we do want to tell you, again, to remind you.
Nutrametics is 30% off.
That's only for the month of July, 30% off.
They really kicked it up a notch.
Take advantage.
Nutrametics.com for all your nutraceutical needs.
30% off with the code Eric.
And if you go to my store.com, not only does that have my books, but I want to say it again,
the Bonhoeffer posters are the most beautifully produced.
They are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
I promise you, you'll see.
if you get one, use the code.
Eric, we'll be right back to talk about very important things.
Stick around.
There's a must-see new movie on SalemNow.com called Michelle Obama,
24, her real-life story and plan for power.
Film director, Joel Gilbert, takes a deep dive into the life of Michelle Obama from Chicago
to Princeton to Martha's Vineyard.
He says Michelle Obama will run for president in 2024 and base her candidacy on a
life story that is more racially divisive and nearly as fictitious as that of her husband,
Barack. Check out the stunning new movie on Salem Now, Michelle Obama, 24. Michelle is following the
same formula as Barack to become president, a best-selling autobiography, the keynote convention speaker,
and a voter registration organization. First, Barack, and now Michelle Obama want to transform
America. Michelle Obama, 24, now playing at SalemNow.com. This new movie has stunning, game-changing
revelations about Michelle Obama's past. The film director says, only
the truth can stop her. Michelle Obama

In case you haven't been paying attention,
the Biden administration has caused a financial crisis
and they have no clue how to fix it.
Oil prices have skyrocketed.
And when oil prices go up,
the cost of transportation and shipping spikes,
leading the prices of goods to rise.
and when we're already seeing record inflation, that's the last thing we need.
Our economy is in trouble and you need to take steps to protect yourself.

As promised, I am in the studio.
No, no, no, no.
In the studio.
Not just me, but my guest also, Joshua Phillips of the Epic Times, E-P-O-C-H, Epic Times.
If you're not reading the Epic Times, you're a communist.
Josh Phillips is a senior investigative reporter with the Epic Times.
He's also the host of their program Crossroads.
And he's right here.
Look.
Hey, Eric.
It's great to see you.
And it's great to not be in Las Vegas with you.
We were both in Las Vegas together.
We were on a panel, which you guys posted talking about, well, free speech and that kind of thing.
It was a great discussion, actually.
We had James O'Keefe there.
It was really good.
And the Dutchman.
the Dutch American
Rob Monster. It's his
real name. It's not Munster.
It's monster. So when you say he's a monster,
we mean that not exactly
literally, literarily.
But it was an impressive
conversation to be sitting there
with, especially with James O'Keefe,
who's been through hell for speaking the truth,
trying to be an actual investigative
reporter. You're an investigative reporter.
And we all know that we're taking heat
and that we're living in crazy times.
But the reason you're
on here today, speaking of taking heat, it's hotter in New York than it was in Las Vegas.
It's crazy. In New York, in Vegas, when it's 110 degrees, it's bearable. When it is like
whatever, 90-something degrees in New York, it's so thick that it's unbearable. Well, Vegas has that
dry heat, so it's bearable a little more. Well, I mean, to me, it's bearable just because it's so
dry. But here in New York, it's like pea soup. But let's focus on the positive. We're indoors,
And I'm talking to Joshua Phillips.
Now, the reason you're here is because tomorrow, Friday the 22nd, you and the Epic Times
are releasing the real story of January 6th, a documentary.
There's just about nothing more important than this, Joshua Phillips.
So tell my audience, what is this film about and where can they see it?
Well, you know, at Epic Times, we're kind of looking at some of the evidence we were getting.
I mean, thousands of hours of video footage from January 6th.
Footage of the actual crimes people are accused of.
Footage of the people who actually did commit crimes who the police seem to have no interest in.
And also video evidence we've been receiving that really show what taken as a whole,
what taken as a whole shows that the story we've been told about January 6 is absolutely a lie.
The real story about January 6th is this appears to be, like really, really could be entrapment.
And really the people facing trial right now, many of them are totally innocent.
And the people who should be facing trial, in my opinion, the federal agents and FBI or whatever else, they seem to have no interest in.
Okay, so the big headline, folks, is that Fox News is not covering this.
Nobody is covering this, but not even Fox News.
I mean, you have one of the most grievous things imaginable in the history of our country that seems to have happened.
A false narrative has been put out there.
I can't believe I'm alive during times like this.
This is what the Nazis did makes more sense because they were the Nazis.
You kind of expect when you think of them, you expect this kind of behavior.
They lie.
They'll say anything.
This is the United States of America.
We have a history of freedom where we, the people, govern ourselves.
So the idea that what you're saying is even possible is tough for us to get our heads around.
The idea that it's not just possible that it happened.
But we all together need to see what happens so that we can fight back.
So that we can have a real insurrection where we throw the bums out who are not doing anything about this.
We need to go to the voting booths and throw these bums out.
But forgive me for editorializing so much, I just want to give this context.
So January 6, the real story of January 6, the documentary, is coming out tomorrow.
Remind us what's the easiest way for people to see this?
You can see it on Epic TV, E-P-O-C-H-TV.com.
Okay.
This is important.
So I know many, many people that were there on January 6th that have given me their version of what happened.
I've had on this program people like Brandon Strock.
People who have been treated so disgracefully,
it just breaks my heart that in the United States of America
that our taxpayer dollars are funding organizations like the FBI
that have been weaponized by genuinely nefarious anti-American forces,
it's hard to believe this is happening.
But every day that passes, I see more evidence.
And so now you all decided to make a documentary.
Yeah, and I mean, I totally hear you on this too.
I think a lot of America is kind of shocked at what they're watching.
Even the charges a lot of them are facing are not charges that were ever designed for this,
you know, disrupting an official proceeding or picketing or holding banners.
Who would ever thought that's a crime?
They're facing 20 years for a crime that was made for Enron.
Again, the disrupting an official proceeding.
That was a crime for Enron that was never applied to, you know, protesting at Congress or something like that.
But, you know, some of the evidence we show, people know there were four deaths that day.
I'll give you one part of it.
People know there were four deaths that day.
They know Rosanne Boyland.
Sorry, they know, of course, Ashley Babette, who was shot.
They might know Roseanne Boylan who died in the tunnel.
They don't even know anything about the other two individuals.
We show video evidence of these four deaths, and video evidence suggests that all four of them were killed by a necessary use of force by the police.
This is Kent State.
this is Kent State.
You remember the photos of Kent State
where National Guard
fired on innocent Americans,
killed them? That's what this is.
Except there was a big hullabaloo
over those deaths, as there should have been,
but we're hearing nothing
from the mainstream media or from Fox.
It's disgraceful. It's utterly disgraceful.
It's one of the reasons, Josh,
that I love you in Epic Times.
You are covering this as it needs.
needs to be covered and obviously have also made this documentary about it.
But what do you think can come out of this?
I mean, it's just, it's hard for those of us who see this happening to know what to think
or even how to hope.
Well, I think what can come out of it is a real investigation.
Because right now what we have with this, you know, committee, this January 6th committee,
they're not a real investigative committee.
They're an aggrieved party, first of all.
They're the ones who claim themselves as the victims, being members of Congress.
How do you have an aggrieved party running the investigation into the thing that they themselves feel that they are victims of?
You can't, in any normal sense of justice, you would never even allow that to happen, nor would it be regarded as an official like investigation.
There needs to be a real investigation, and frankly, a lot of people who are not being charged right now should be charged.
The suspicious actors, I think, should definitely be charged.
And this is one of the big things I found even interviewing people who were there, people even convicted of crimes who were there.
A lot of them had tried stopping people who were actually committing crimes.
And I think a lot of Americans, the people who actually were committing crimes who were breaching the Capitol while Trump was still speaking, those 100 plus suspicious actors, who ironically the FBI seems to have no interest in, I think a lot of Americans believe those people should be prosecuted.
and they want to know why they're not being prosecuted.
Well, also the level of confusion, I mean, there has been a great effort to confuse.
So when people talk about this, you're not sure what they're talking about.
When they talk about deaths or about, you know, trespassing.
Who has not trespass?
What does that even mean in this day and age?
You trespass the idea that because of that, you go to jail and you sit in jail
and you kind of think, what did they do?
Did they know they were trespassing?
Did they do anything evil?
We have people like Dr. Simone Gold and others.
What did they do?
Nothing.
But they're trumped up charges.
They are being basically bullied into plea bargains.
This is nightmarish stuff, and every American needs to care about this.
So tell us more, because we want to know what's in this documentary.
So I can give you some of the assessments of the use of force.
So we brought in actually a really interesting interviewee, Stan Keffart.
If you go on court databases, Stan Keffert, he's a former chief of police,
and he was the head of the head of security for the Winter Olympics several years back.
He's the number one expert who courts recognize as being, you know, for expert testimony on police use of force.
And we show him footage of a lot of these things.
We show him footage of police, for example, one man climbing up the side of a bit, you know,
climbed the side of a staircase, maybe 20 feet up, police rather than pulling him off and arresting him,
push him 20 feet, the guy falls, and then we have footage of him being carried off on a gurney,
you know, seriously injured. We have videos of a police officer, and we have his body cam footage,
and he's grabbing munitions up to other police saying, I need more munitions, I need more munitions,
he's grabbing them off, he's walking up to random people, shooting them with tasers,
he's lobbying these concussion, either dispersal grenades that shoot out these plastic,
plastic pelts, lobbying them blindly into the crowd. And we have videos also, these things going
off right next to people. The two individuals who died of heart complications that day,
they were struck by these munitions right when that happened. They're struck,
explosion was off, and they collapse, and then they're dead. And they want to tell us these
are natural causes.
This is, it's almost unbearable. At least we want clarity.
And the fact that our government and the Democrat Party, which is they're basically, we can no longer treat them the way we once did.
We can no longer listen to them.
They're lying about this.
We need to get involved.
This trailer.
I'm sorry, the film is released tomorrow.
Real story of January 6th.
We'll be right back.
Tell me, Eric, why is relief factor so successful at lowering or eliminating pain?
I'm often asked that question.
The owners of Relief Factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal.
That's right, designed to heal.
And I agree with them.
So the doctors who formulated Relief Factor for them selected the four best ingredients,
yes, 100% drug-free ingredients, each helps your body deal with inflammation.
Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway.
And that right there, approaching from four different angles,
may be why so many people find such wonderful relief.
So if you've got back pain, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, or foot pain from exercise,

Folks, we return with Joshua Phillips, who is the senior investigative reporter at the Epic Times.
If you don't read the Epic Times, you're a communist.
He's the host of Crossroads on Epic Times.
And we're here now because you, Josh Phillips, you've created this documentary called The Real Story of January 6th.
This is as important as it gets.
And you know, tell me a little bit about your background, because what we're seeing in America,
not seen in America. We expect
this kind of nefarious
government action from China.
China
crushes its
opponents, any dissidents,
any voices that dare
to speak against the communist
regime. You expect that from a totalitarian
Marxist state. You don't expect that in the United
States of America. What do you
suppose happened that
this kind of thing can happen in America?
Well, you know, on your point,
So, yeah, so my beat at Epic Times for many years was investigating the Chinese Communist Party,
although my beat was maybe a little different than most China reporters.
My focus was on what the Chinese Communist Party is doing in the United States.
This goes back to the start of my career with Epic Times.
I've been there since 2006, began investigative reporting in 2008.
When I accidentally uncovered one of the largest Chinese spy operations in America,
that being the United Front Work Department.
And I uncovered how through its consulates, the CCP was running spy networks,
approaching what are called Tongs, fraternal organizations.
You could think about guilds or unions that exist throughout Chinatowns here in New York and in most parts of the world.
And how these were working together with the Chinese mafia and doing liaison work,
approaching government officials, inviting them back to China, academics, journalists, even, a lot of them,
and business leaders in compromising them.
And so my focus since 2008 has been on investigating and exposing communist subversion.
And you're absolutely right.
What we're witnessing right now in this country looks like what you'd see under a communist system.
And I believe this attempted revolution, I think we can call it, of Antifa and all these socialist and Marxist movements,
really do look like acts of subversion.
They mirror what we've seen in other countries.
This is, again, it's hard for many of us to get our heads wrapped around it.
I confess to being one of those who I would rather not.
I would rather look away, but I don't think we have that option.
I think we have to trust God to do the right thing, to look squarely at what is happening,
and then to figure out what it is that we can do.
The first thing we can do is educate ourselves.
And I think that it's one of the reasons I want people to see the film, the real story of January 6th,
which literally comes out tomorrow.
So how long is this film?
Close to two hours.
It was quite a bit of...
work. And quite a bit of work because not only in terms of putting the evidence together,
so a lot of, what we really try to do is take footage that people might be kind of familiar
with, but show them different angles, because we have video even showing different angles of a lot
of the incidents, that show the full context of what actually took place. And you'll find that when
viewed in its full context, the actual evidence is nothing like what you've been told it is.
In fact, we can even, me and my fellow reporters who have done these investigations,
we can watch the videos being shown, for example, at these January 6th committee hearings,
and we can tell that they're doctoring the videos.
They're altering the evidence to make the points.
So who is doing this on the so-called January 6th show trial?
It's like a communist show trial.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is so despicable that you need to understand what is happening.
It's despicable.
The mainstream media is cooperating with this.
PBS, CNN, they are cooperating with something that is despicable and anti-American to the core.
And so I'm sitting here, of course, with you, Josh Phillips, you've made a documentary,
you've looked into this, you're an investigative reporter,
and you're telling us that we're living at a time when the Democrat Party is putting on this show trial,
and you know, because you've seen the footage, you've done the investigation,
that they are doctoring the whole narrative, not just the footage,
but they're giving us a different narrative.
Why do you suppose they're doing this?
That's the big question.
Well, I can state my personal opinion.
Yeah.
I think if Americans understood the real story,
this would not be a scandal on Trump.
This would be a scandal specifically
on Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and Muriel Bowser,
and very likely other members who,
other members of our government who were involved with this.
This would be a scandal for the D.C. Metro Police.
And I mean, I support the police.
My brother's sheriff's deputy, you know, I really have good views of law enforcement overall,
but many of them should be in prison, frankly.
You mean the DC Metro Police?
D.C. Metro Police and the Capitol Police, many of them based on expert testimony.
We have Stan Kefford on here, the top guy on this, expert testimony, looking at their actions,
many of them should be in prison for what they did that day.
Okay, you mentioned Pelosi, you mentioned Mitch McConnell.
Who's Muriel Bowser?
Mayor of Washington, D.C.
Okay.
And why is the mayor of Washington, D.C. involved in this?
These, so basically the Capitol police and some of the D.C. Metro were charged with protecting the Capitol building,
and they were not given the supplies or the manpower they needed to handle what they knew the crowd was going to be.
They were in no way prepared for this.
And basically, Trump had authorized the deployment of the National Guard.
Trump wanted there to be the proper protection that day.
That was, you know, he authorized it.
that was not accepted by Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell.
So, now, again, this is one of the most basic things.
Trump authorized this year, this over and over and over again,
but they're trying to paint a narrative that he wanted an insurrection.
How do you square those two things?
You can't.
So something's going on.
When you say Mitch McConnell, why do you say Mitch McConnell is as involved
or is involved in the way that Nancy Pelosi is involved?
Well, these are the two people who would have been in charge of that,
who could have accepted that offer and who would have been in charge of
security that day. Now, basically what happened with the D.C. Metro Police and the Capitol
Police is they were unprepared for this. The video shows very clearly that they don't have
proper training or organization or preparation for it. One of the main guys who would have been in,
some of the main people who would have been in charge of this were actually fired shortly before this.

Welcome back. We're talking to senior investigative reporter of the Epic Times. If you don't read the Epic Times, let me underscore you're a communist.
And you've made a documentary about January 6th. It comes out officially tomorrow, the 22nd of July, 2022.
It's very, very important. I'm glad that you all have done this. This is an immense amount of work that you have done, obviously.
Thank you.
It's an immense amount of work to our documentary, but it tells the story.
What is your hope, Josh, that will come out of this?
You mentioned a little bit earlier that you hope an actual investigation.
Why hasn't an actual investigation come out of this?
I don't really get that.
Well, I think my hope with this, and to their point, my hope with this is that there will be a real investigation.
I mean, I actually found the Trump supporters who were present on January 6th, one thing you actually find,
very common in the video footage
is that when there were people trying to
break windows, when there were people
trying to damage property,
Trump supporters, even including
many who were arrested, were trying to stop them.
Ashley Babbitt herself,
the woman who was shot and killed by Officer Byrd,
she punches one of the guys in the face,
the guy who breaks that window she climbed through.
The video shows her punching the guy
in this face and his glasses fly off.
Another woman, Victoria White,
savagely, I mean savagely beaten
in one of these tunnels by police.
While she's going like this,
trying to, you know, she's the police officers beating at her head
40 times plus with a baton,
going like this, and they say that she attacked police
because she's going like this.
Okay, now what do you make of that?
Because it's one thing, we've got a couple of things going on here.
First of all, the Capitol Police are to blame big time.
But the question is, why would a member of the Capitol Police
behave that way?
I mean, it doesn't, I don't understand that.
Well, let me explain what happened to that tunnel specifically,
because that tunnel entrance, or the doorway, which leads into a tunnel,
that's one of the most commonly used pieces of footage by a lot of the mainstream media,
where you see people, I mean, they're really just fighting with police.
This is what actually happened.
People were pushing in there, they were being pretty rowdy,
but video evidence suggests that most of those people, including in the footage used,
were trying to rescue a woman who was dying.
Basically, police had deployed tear gas in the tunnel.
That sucks out the oxygen.
people were fleeing, they trampled each other.
One woman collapses, that was Roseanne Boylan.
She collapses, people piling on top of her.
She's crying out, help me, help me.
People grab her hand and they watch her lose consciousness as she's dying.
And they're yelling at the police, why don't you save her life, save her life?
The police, meanwhile, are beating them.
Police are fighting them.
People get angry, of course.
They're watching a woman die in front of them.
Police are not responding to this woman who's dying in front of them.
What do they do?
They start beating her unconscious body.
They're beating her in the head while she's unconscious.
And how does the crowd react?
Well, they react like you saw in the video.
Then what happens?
Someone through a crutch, a man walks up, picks up this crutch, and holds it in the air, puts himself between the police and the protesters.
And only then can people pull out the dead body of Roseanne Boyland.
And that individual who did that, he's being charged for that.
He's facing criminal charges for that.
So who is charging him?
This is, of course, facing charges for breaching the Capitol building and allegedly assaulting police.
I mean, I believe it's Luke Coffey, I believe it's his name.
But who, like, I guess what I'm fascinated by is how confusing this is and how the dark actors here are using the confusion because you keep hearing things and it doesn't add up, basically.
I mean, if half of what you're saying is true, none of this makes sense.
And I suspect that everything you're saying is true.
And you're only saying a little bit of what happened.
So it sounds to me that most patriotic Americans are coming to the conclusion that somehow this was all planned,
that the idea was to create a situation whereby Trump could be so demonized that he and his supporters,
would be somehow plausibly treated as unpatriotic enemies of America.
It feels more and more, as I hear this, like that was the larger narrative.
We do know that on that point, we do know that Democrats had stated publicly that after Trump left office,
they needed to have a cleansing of the Trump movement.
And whether or not this was intentional, they have used January 6 for that.
We do know also that there were suspicious actors, 100 plus, who were breaching the Capitol building while Trump was still speaking.
And the FBI and authorities seem to have little to no interest in them.
In fact, even New York Times is covering for some of these people, defending them, ironically, the very people who, in their own words, would have been insurrectionists.
And we also know, based on expert testimony and analysis to show in the video footage, that this could constitute entrapment.
the behavior of the police that day would constitute under normal legal justification.
I mean, it has to be argued in court, but very likely would normally constitute entrapment.
And this is why.
If you're a police officer or a group of police and you're engaging a crowd in a protest or riot in some places,
you're doing one of two things with crowd dispersal.
You're trying to disperse the crowd, you know, make them leave, or you're trying to arrest them.
And the police that day were really doing neither.
they were instigating the crowd.
They were beating the crowd.
Some of the footage looks like a bar fight
where police are using unjustified use of force.
They're doing things that even in the act of carrying them out
would constitute a crime.
They were violating use of force laws, instigating the crowd,
and that did rile them up.
And so, yeah, there was violence on January 6th,
but really, based on that, again, behavior of the police,
that could very likely be entrapment.
It's all astonishing, and the first thing we need to do is understand what happens so we get the narrative right.
And I think more and more Americans are waking up to what happened on January 6th.
I mean, to me, part of what seems to have happened is that this was a way to end the legitimate protest in Congress against the vote.
In other words, that here you had states that were going to,
protest or going to, I can't remember the details of it, but this kind of short-circuited that,
which seems to have been the point.
It does seem to be the case.
And again, even if it wasn't the intent, it is how they're using it.
They're trying to make it look like it's a crime to question the integrity of an election now.
And this has come from the group that for four years questioned the integrity of Trump's election,
which is just a total, I think, blow in the face to every American has been watching the news.
I mean, again, I ask you, folks, if you're a fair-minded person, you don't have to agree with me on anything.
But if you care about this country, you have to care about this.
You have to try to understand what really happened.
We'll be right back.
We're talking about the documentary that comes out tomorrow, the real story of January 6th, Epic Times, EPO-C-H, Epic Times.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back.
We're talking to senior investigative reporter at the Epic Times.
Joshua Phillips, the documentary comes out literally tomorrow,
which is the 22nd of July, the real story of January 6th.
How is this different from other information that has come out on January 6th?
Other documentaries, because I know there have been some things that have been done about it.
Well, I've watched a lot of the other documentaries, and I think they did a good job.
I know Nick Searsie did a great one.
Tucker Carlson did a series.
Well, by the way, the way, I've got to say, God bless Tucker Carlson.
God bless Tucker Carlson for doing that when he did it.
Because even though Fox News generally is avoiding this, he has not.
Yeah.
Yeah, so I know Tucker, he focused more on the suspicious actors.
Talk about the idea that this was like a patriot purge, I believe, as he called it.
Nick Searcy, of course, looks at, again, a lot of the suspicious actors as well.
In this documentary, we wanted to do something comprehensive.
where we do talk about the suspicious actors,
we also look at the evidence of wrongdoing.
And so was there criminal activity on the Trump side?
We do look at that.
There was some.
And so we don't try to write that off.
But we also look at police use of force,
and we also look at, frankly,
some of the charges against people
who are mainly being incriminated.
And we find that when taken in its totality,
when taken as a whole,
the narrative people are being shown
and being told is absolutely false.
the majority, the overwhelming majority of the Trump people there, were totally innocent and totally peaceful.
Very few people were violent, and ironically, the ones who should be charged with violence or breaking windows
or, you know, breaching the Capitol are the ones who we would call suspicious actors because we don't know who they are,
because the federal government seems to have no interest in them.
And we also look at evidence, for example, against, you know, the three percenters, or what do you call the oathkeepers, or the oathkeepers?
And we show evidence as well that they appear to be falsely incriminated.
Video evidence, including body cam of police, shows they were assisting police that day,
not trying to launch some kind of insurrection.
Well, see, this is the thing is that I know people who were there on January 6th,
and the kinds of people who were there mostly are the kind of people like me
who would have stopped criminal action.
You would have said, what are you doing?
We don't need to win that way.
What in the world?
First of all, you won't win that way.
way. But, you know, that's to me, if you really want to understand the kind of people that were
there, all the people that I know who were there are those kind of people. So the idea that what
happened on January 6th was people there to cause big trouble, to mount an insurrection. It is
on the face of it preposterous. So then you have to ask, why is this narrative being pushed?
Who is pushing this narrative? Is it just people that hate Trump? I mean,
I mean, effectively, it seems to be that's the general place that this is coming from.
Well, I think New York Times has said the quiet part out loud, which is they're doing the investigation because it's their main narrative for the 2022 midterms.
They've said it.
You don't even have to guess what they're doing it for.
They're using it basically to try to win an election.
Yeah, so remember the New York Times once was, you know, an institution that did journalism.
It's got to be tough for you, who are an investigative journalist, to see the New York Times and the Washington Post, to see them go really off the cliff.
I mean, it's actually heartbreaking to see this.
It is, actually.
I mean, you know, I'm not a competitive type of journalist.
In my eyes, I see journalism is almost like a public service.
You're informing the public of what's happening, and I think it's, I don't want to call it a crime.
because I don't think journalism should be regulated like that,
but it's terrible if you would lie to people about something like this,
because not only are you warping people's basic understanding of reality
when you're feeding them lies all the time, like a lot of these media are,
not only are you lying to people like that,
but you're incriminating, in this case, innocent people.
And, I mean, that should be a crime, in my opinion.
Well, of course, there's much more to say.
We'll keep you around and maybe get a couple more segments with you.
But, folks, tomorrow the Epic Times releases the real story of January 6th.
I sincerely hope you'll check it out and spread the word.
Joshua Phillips, thank you for making that and for your time today.
Thank you.
My pleasure. Thank you.
