Welcome to the Eric Mattaxas show.
They say it's a thin line between love and hate, but we're working every day to thicken that line,
or at least to make it a double or triple line.
But now here's your line jumping host, Eric Mattaxas.
I continue my conversation with my pastor, David Englehart, of the King's Church right here in New York City.
So lots more to cover, brother.
What else?
You know, the thing about we're talking about dreams, we're talking about God reaching in,
we're talking about people responding.
And in the Joseph's dream, like Joseph is one man that talks to the king.
He's placed in positions in the right place to have one conversation that changes everything.
And I think about people that God is grabbing a hold of right now, like Russell Brand and just
like other salvations that are happening and God positioning people for the salvation of our nation
in front of influential people like President Trump, like Elon Musk's.
You know, I saw a tweet the other day about Elon banning pornography on X.
Now, it was a request to do so.
It's like, this is the stuff.
I know it sounds crazy and Christian.
Like, this is the reason that God will send judgment or increase the temperature of judgment on the nation
that we're sending porn all over the world.
That it's, you know, it's like the earth was.
filled with lawlessness in Noah's day. And it's like, if we can have the right believers respond
in righteousness, believe it's the word of God, believe in these dreams, and then exercise their
duty as a believer to say, all we have to do is pull, you don't need to have porn on your platform.
We can just pull that thing back. And then the blessing of God is like, God's like, okay, awesome.
I don't have to, because I'm perfectly just. I don't have to drop a bomb on them. I don't have
to drop a nuclear bomb on that. That sounds horrible. How could you ever say that? Well, I mean,
do you remember the temple? Like, do you remember the disciples coming out and saying,
wow, Jesus, look at the temple. Look how huge it is. And he says, not one stone is going to be
left upon another because I'm bringing judgment. I'm wiping it out. I want to say,
until I wrote my book is atheism dead, there's a chapter on the temple in there,
I couldn't believe the glory of the temple. It must have been so astonishing that for Jesus
to say that
this is going to be destroyed, it must
have sounded like the most blasphemous
insane statement
ever. Both blasphemous
and just like, it would have been like
you and me walking up to one world trade,
the biggest building in New York
City, and you saying,
not one stone is going to be left, this is going to be
dust. And I'm like, you're out of your
mind. They actually say, the
archaeologists say the people of the region would
come down because it was all white
marble face and then guilty
with gold. They said it looked like a burning
mountain when the sun hit it.
And people would be in awe of
edifice. Oh, yeah. I mean, it makes
the Twin Towers look like nothing.
And this was something that in its day,
because it's not just impressive, but
it's God. This is like, you know,
the people of God made this thing.
So for Jesus to say that,
and here's the punchline, which you
just said, it happened.
It wasn't like, yeah, you better get your act right.
I'm going to come, don't make me come down there.
It happened. It wasn't an
empty threat. And the nightmare, and again, I write about this in Is Atheism Dead, the nightmare of
what, it wasn't just the temple, but the butchery of a million, a million folks, not thousands.
It's something so horrible. And it happened less than 40 years after Jesus pronounced it. It's
so horrible. God will allow these things if we don't repent. It's horrifying. So let's look at
the big narrative, you know, John
chapter one in the beginning was the word and word was with
God and the word was God.
He came down to
earth. The message of God
in flesh and blood came down
to earth and said, I love you
and I have a plan from you. Turn
from your wicked way.
And the Jews are like, nah,
I don't think so. No, our way is better than
yours and superior. Look at our temple.
Look at our buildings. Look at our edifices.
Look at our sophistication.
Look at our wealth. Look at all we have.
We don't need to turn and do your silly thing.
And then God wipes the whole place, wipes it out.
I read something in one of my studies of Matthew chapter 28.
It said there was not one Christian that was killed during the sacking of Jerusalem and burning of Jerusalem.
What's the point?
God is going to protect and preserve his people that love him and are obedient to him.
The Christians, there's no account of any Christian dying in that sack.
I never heard that.
But yet, you know the Jerusalem Christians that were around were weeping for their brethren in the flesh that weren't turning to Jesus.
And that's the posture of the righteous in this time that we would call out and be obedient, respond with fasting and prayer, wake up every day.
Man, I've had such a burden, Eric, even we've been talking about it, like walking down the sidewalk.
God, please forgive our sins.
Give us one more chance, please.
We're at the brink. Give us one more chance as a nation.
See, this gets back to what I said before in Luke 13, where, yeah, God will say, okay, I'll give you another year.
But if within a year, the fig tree is not bearing fruit, you cut it down.
Now, I'm not saying we have a year.
I think we have months.
But the principle is that sometimes God will say, okay, you want another chance?
Fast and pray, humble yourselves.
If you don't, if I don't see fruit, it's over.
That happened in Germany.
That has happened throughout history.
God does not let things go on and on and on and on.
He's not like the kind of parent that keeps warning the kid,
and the kid knows they're never going to do what they say.
And so that kid will never do the right thing because they know.
It's empty threats.
That's right.
God's threats are not empty.
Well, and so...
They're not threats.
They're warning.
He's giving us a window, fast and pray.
And then let's say we do respond rightly, and that's my hope.
And then we got four years with a guy that's not, you know,
pressing the gas pedal towards our extinction as a nation.
And it's actually slowing down.
Then we have this window to reestablish righteousness.
That's exactly what I keep saying.
It's not like the winning the election is going to solve anything.
What's this going to do is it's going to make it possible to solve things.
It's going to make it possible.
But if we don't win the election, it is over.
Right.
So if you win the election, now you get to spend the next not just four years, but, you know,
rest of our lives, redeeming what we have allowed to go to hell over decades.
That's right.
Then we're talking about ban child transgender surgery.
all across the country. That's possible. We can get that.
We'll get to these places like Twitter and say,
hey, let's get rid of porn. There's not necessary.
Can you imagine what a wonderful world we could live?
People haven't even, people don't even dream about that.
A lot of these pious Christians are like, no, we're under judgment.
They're almost like they don't want it to get better.
Right.
It could get better. We could have a new birth of freedom in this country.
We could see, I mean, you think of any insane thing.
Cancer cured.
RFK, breaking down the medical industrial complex where little kids are getting
12 and 15 vaccinations before they're one year old, like creating transparency and safety and blessing
and life so autism rates aren't skyrocketing and all of this other medical confusion,
like blessing of God. That all represents the judgment of God. You know, increased rates of
disease and death and cancer represent not the blessing of God. You know, I love the scripture
where through the prophet God is talking to the people of Israel and he says, why do you go to Egypt
for your healing when I, the Lord, your God, and your help.
And it's like, okay, the real blessing, I know we sound crazy,
real blessing is walking in righteousness and submitting our lives to Jesus,
and then he brings blessing on the land.
Exactly what happened when the pilgrims showed up at Mayflower and said,
hey, we're going to try to serve God and walk before him in righteousness faithfully.
Not in perfection, because we can't do that.
We're not perfect. I'm not perfect. You're not perfect.
but faithfully, back on the road directed towards God's way, and because he created the way,
and it's integrated with literally the laws of the universe, it concomitantly creates blessing in the land that we live in.
Although, to be clear, right, let's be clear, I've written about this in two books, Squanto, and if you can keep it,
where half of the 100 pilgrims who came here died.
Ladies and gentlemen, can you imagine?
Now, a lot of people would have said, well, it's God's judgment and it's over and let's go back to England.
That would seem sensible, but there was a discernment, no.
No.
So these judgments come and people say, well, it's over.
Let's just like, forget it.
It's done.
Well, until God says it's done, it's not done.
That's right.
And you need to discern it.
Just like every dream is not from the Lord.
Every judgment is not from the Lord.
And how do you find out?
You read the scripture because the scripture is sharper than every word.
any two-edged sword, and it can divide between the thoughts and tents of the heart,
and it gives us orientation to what is God and what's humanity and what's the devil.
There is so much more. We've got to have you back just to continue the conversation,

Hey, the folks, welcome back.
I'm in the studio with my friend Keith Junta.
Keith, I got a question for you.
My first question, how do you spell that?
I'm not sure.
Can I get back to you on that?
Yeah, get back to me on that.
It sounds like a J.
It's a G.
So it's G-U-I-N-T-A.
And the whole point is, when our family came over on the boat to Ellis Island,
they put the dot in the wrong spot.
It should be, if you're an Italian, G-I-U-U-U-U-I, which makes it Junta.
Giunta.
So G-U-I, it's actually spelled wrong, which is Gwinta.
Junta.
All right, so now that we've established that your name is Keith Junta, I wanted my audience.
Well, first of all, you wrote a piece for the stream.
Stream.org, folks, stream.org about Ronald Reagan, and it is a great, great piece.
folks, go to stream.org and read the piece about Ronald Reagan. But when I read it, I learned
stuff that I had never known about Reagan. And then you and I went to see the Reagan film with our
wives. That's what we're claiming. No, people, people know we joke around. And your mom,
with our wives and my mom. And your mom. My 90-year-old mom, who is exactly the same age as Pat Boone,
who's in the film.
But you and I went to the Danbury Theater there to see the film, and both of us thought,
this film is so great.
We did not expect it to be great.
I thought it was going to be good.
It was great.
It was great.
The first time I heard of the film, I was backpacking, and I listened to a long-form interview
of Jordan Peterson with Dennis Quaid.
And he talked all about the movie, his preparation, how much Reagan was a huge.
hero, how he didn't want to just do an impression. He wanted to become the man. And that interview
is what piqued my interest, and I couldn't wait for the movie to come out. But before I knew anything
about the movie, it's actually Intercessors for America, originally asked me to write a chapter for
a book. We'll spare the story. But I wrote this. I'm not a historian on Ronald Reagan, but
But they wanted a chapter for this book on answered prayer and faith.
And so I began doing researching, and I found that story in Bob Schlosser's book.
And you and I share common ground with the great Bob Schlosser.
Why?
Because he wrote Miracle and Darienne.
Okay, so I got to tell you audience.
Because it's all time together.
You and I met in 1990.
We were going to St. Paul's Darien, which was an Episcopal Church.
that was spirit-filled, charismatic, evangelical.
It was one of the greatest churches ever led by the great Terry Fulham.
And the story of how that church came to be is written in a book called Miracle in Dary Ann.
A lot of people will know of it, but it was written by Bob Schlosser,
who also wrote the Reagan book you're talking about.
Now, do you remember the title of that book?
Inside Out.
Reagan, Inside Out.
Okay.
And so I began writing.
writing this piece, you know this way better than myself.
I had a deadline.
I was sick.
I sat down and I trudged through the research and I found that story of the prophetic word that we heard Pat Boone talk about.
Tell the story because a lot of people are tuning in.
They don't know this story.
When I found this thing, I'd never heard it before.
I'd never seen it anywhere before.
And there was a small group.
This is when Reagan was governor.
and it was Pat and Shirley Boone.
It was Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
It was Herb Ellingwood, who was on his staff in the governor's mansion,
and he tells the story that he would pray over his office every day.
He would anoint Ronald's chair.
If there was going to be meetings, he would pray over the chairs in the offices.
So he had a man of God when he was governor.
And George Otis, who was a Christian broadcaster.
And this is the most beautiful part of this thing, because how often do we sense that nudge, the Holy Spirit, leaning us to say something, and we say, it's easier to say no.
And George Otis, we just heard Pat say it.
George had the guts.
He felt that urging, and he said, Mr. President, do you mind if we pray for you before we go?
Okay, just to be clear, yes, today on the program, Pat Boone shares the story.
the story it's in the film, the Reagan film, so you'll see it.
But to set the stage, it's 1970.
It's at the end of Reagan's first term, I guess, as governor.
This group of people comes over to the house.
They say, you know, it was a social visit.
Mr. Governor, before we go, can we pray?
Yeah.
Okay.
How many times have you had that urge?
And it's easier not to, the person in the cashier line, the toll attendant.
But to just stop and go, can we pray?
And so I loved hearing Pat tell this story because Bob Schlosser captured it perfectly.
It was a nice time of prayer.
Everybody kind of went around.
They're holding hands.
And it came to George Otis.
They were fine, lovely prayers.
And Otis begins to pray.
And the book says he began to shake.
His hand began to shake, which made Reagan's hand shake.
And he switched from a prayer to a prophetic word.
And he said, my son, I am greatly pleased with you.
And if you walk uprightly before me, you will reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
And Pat told the story.
It was almost he went into a different voice because it was the Holy Spirit.
And think that moment would have been lost if George said, you know, it's late.
let's not pray. We'll just go home. We obey in that little moment and then look what happened.
Look at what happened. Well, I mean, people have to understand that, I mean, there are people listening to this program who think a prophetic word. What the heck? What's that?
Well, it's real. I mean, I've experienced it. You've experienced it. I've had many people on this program talk about this.
But there are a lot of people who identify as Christians that this is very foreign to them. And listen, just like, you know, there's false prophecy.
There's people who claim to speak for God.
But there are times when God speaks through people.
It's a holy thing.
And at that time, it happened.
And this is 1970.
And 10 years later, Reagan is elected president.
It's an amazing thing.
And it's in the film, folks.
It's in the film.
It shaped his professional governing.
I mean, it shaped his political aspirations,
not just to get to the goal, the walk uprightly before me part.
And I'll quickly say, I wrote a piece at wine patch.org called Hazan, H-A-Z-O-N.
And that is a word in the original Hebrew that says, it's in 1st Samuel.
And it says, in those days, the word of the Lord was rare, and there was no prophetic vision.
And when that happens, people cast off restraint.
They lose direction.
They lose purpose.
And so when Reagan got this Hazan, when his hand started to shake and that prophetic surge goes up his arm into his spirit, that shaped him.
It gave him purpose.
It gave him vision.
Because without that, we flail, right?
But with it, everything starts to fall into place.
And you were sitting next to me.
I almost fell on the floor in the theater.
I couldn't believe.
I mean, in fact that we saw the film together,
because first of all, you know what I didn't get to say?
We can, I won't say much, but I never go to theaters to see films.
Why?
Well, going to the theater with you and our wives to see the film,
and my mom was a perfect example of it.
They've got 45,000 coming attractions.
It was unbelievable agony.
one after the other. Some of them were totally inappropriate.
I mean, if you're bringing kids to see the Reagan film, which you should, some of these things,
but the most preposterous one of all folks, so he almost burst out laughing.
It was a film about putting out there that Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln, was gay.
Now, there's nothing further from the truth.
It's insane.
They made a film about it.
It just looks like utterly preposterous.
But anytime, you know, you have anybody who's going to be.
great or whatever. Somebody wrote a whole book about Bonhoeffer being gay. It's so dumb.
It's so unbelievable. So we're sitting there through these coming attractions, which are awful,
awful, awful. And then the film comes on. And within a few minutes of the film, I actually said,
you know what? I can't believe how glad I am here to be here. It was so, it really made me think,
like, you know, the only thing you need to do is go to the theater like 15 minutes after the time.
So you show up and you get like four minutes of coming attractions as opposed to 25 minutes, whatever.
It was insane.
It was awful.
But the film was, it was just shockingly good.
And we all said Quaid deserves the Academy Award for that.
You said.
You said it.
I didn't say it.
You said it.
You said it.
You all said it.
No, it was, you really did say it.
It's a worthwhile performance.
that he should get the Oscar.
And that was the first I heard.
And then Pat Boone yesterday on the program said it that he should get the Oscar.
Dennis Quaid should at least be nominated for an Oscar because it is an amazing, it's an amazing performance.
I want to, we have plenty more time to talk.
But folks, I'm telling you this film is going to go away.
Please, it is so good.
You need to go.
You need to tell your friends.
It's going to inspire you for your country.
We need this right now.

Folks, welcome back talking to my friend Keith Junta, G-U-I-N-T-A.
So people can find you on Twitter as Keith Junta.
All right.
Well, you wrote this piece about Reagan, which is at stream.org.
If people want to find you, they can go to Wine Patch.org.
Is the article also at Wine Patch.org?
It's at Wine Patch. It's at the stream, and it's at Intercessors for America, which is the first place.
Right.
So, winepatch.org.
But when you wrote this piece about Reagan, and it really, there's a lot that I learned in it about Reagan,
but this central story that there was a prophetic word, I had never heard this.
And again, yesterday to talk to Pat Boone, who was literally there.
He was there when this happened in 1970.
He was there.
He heard the voice.
He heard the...
It just tells you that, ladies and gentlemen, God is real, and he cares about history, and he cares about America.
Yeah.
But that's an extraordinary thing to think about that.
It gives me comfort.
It gives me hope for the future.
Yes.
And Reagan's critics used to mock him.
They said that he would feign a Christian faith so as to pull in that contingent.
Right.
He was a deeply...
faith-filled man.
Yeah.
All the way back from his childhood.
His mother, Nellie, who is beautifully portrayed in the movie, had an alcoholic father,
but was it Pastor Cleaver's was kind of a father figure to him.
He was very, very well-ordered with his relationship with Christ.
Right.
It's without question.
And the movie highlights that well.
And Eric, when I was writing the piece, this I didn't find anywhere, but,
But it really intrigued me.
And I think it was the Lord revealing something about when the right people get put into office, good things happen.
So when he was governor, 1967, I think he was sworn in.
Okay.
We're approaching the summer of love.
We're approaching Hayd Ashbury.
We're approaching the hippie movement with drugs and addiction and sexual promiscuity.
and just all of this licentiousness.
So he comes into office as that's happening.
And by the time he's sworn in for his second,
what is happening in California.
The hippies have now migrated south.
They're at Calvary Chapel with Chuck Smith.
They're baptizing thousands in Pirates Cove.
And what happens?
The Jesus movement starts.
That's under Ronald Reagan's watch.
Yeah.
So he comes in.
as the hippie movement kind of erupts, and then God spins that whole thing around. Because what did he say?
If you will walk uprightly before me, and Reagan always postured, was he a perfect man? I don't even like
qualifying. We should never have to say that. Like, oh, was he perfect? No, he wasn't perfect. He was
God's man. And suddenly the Jesus movement breaks out, right? So that by the time he is sworn in as
president, that Jesus movement had swept across the country. Now it's getting close. Now we're into
the St. Paul's Dariand days. And the Jesus movement fuels the charismatic renewal, which fueled
spirit-filled churches across the country. And now he steps into the presidency. And I found that
to be just so miraculous but warming that the Lord, you know, as that,
what's the old adage? As the head goes, so goes the body.
So when you have the right person in place, all of a sudden these things in the spiritual realm,
he didn't initiate that per se, right? His, what was his quest?
Communism. He wanted to defeat Soviet communism, but for the right reasons.
Of course. And I think the Lord honored that. Oh, yeah. And so we get a revival just thrown in.
Yeah. Well, I mean, look, it's all related. I mean,
the film, the Reagan film, and folks, maybe I haven't mentioned it, you need to see the film.
The film really is the story.
It's not just a story of his life, but it's the story of God's calling on his life to end, in part, to end communism.
And it was one of these things where the naysayers who exist today, they existed then, they say, come on, this is ridiculous.
You're never going to end communism.
It's here to stay.
People say that about Roe v. Wade.
People, you know, are giving voice to the devil's will that there's nothing you can do.
But the reality is that Reagan was called by God to lead this charge to end communism,
which was a nightmare in the world for many, many decades.
And with Margaret Thatcher, with John Paul II, he did.
this sort of thing that, I mean, how many people in his own parties, how many people in his
own cabinet did not believe that this was real. And they, they, I mean, I wrote about it in my
book letter to the American Church that moment beautifully portrayed in the film, folks, where he
insists on saying, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall. Those are prophetic words. I believe the
demons shuddered. And he did this, um, going against
all of his advisors, all of his rhino advisors, Colin Powell and Howard Baker and all of the old-hand
Republicans who said, we don't, you know, we don't want you to be belligerent.
We don't want you to say, you can't say that.
That's being unnecessarily provocative to Gorbachev.
He knew that it was the right thing to do.
He knew when to say something like that.
We're going to go to a break.
But I'll just finish by saying that there are many great moments in the film.
but that is one of the great moments in the film where you see real leadership.
You see a man say, I'm going to do this.
I know this is right.
Everybody's telling me it's wrong.
I'm going to do it because I know it's right.
And folks, I'm here to tell you that when he did that, it changed the world.
This is just extraordinary stuff.
We'll be right back.

Hey, the folks, welcome back talking to Keith Junta.
I believe that's spelled G-U-I-N-T-A.
So if people want to follow you on Twitter, Keith Junta,
All right, so you wrote this piece at stream.org and at winepatch.org about Reagan.
But the title, what is the title?
Ronald Reagan and the DP.
Okay.
The DP.
I never heard that before.
Yeah.
So what is the DP?
It was something that, again, I picked up in Schlosser's book, that those close to him,
it was a phrase that he would use a lot.
If something fortuitous, something unexpectedly good,
providential in Reagan's language, he would say, well, it must be the DP. And that was his way of saying
the divine plan. The divine plan. So he knew that God had his hand on his life and that God was
guiding him. He took that seriously. He really did. And so you have this moment in 1970 where
he's prophesied over. Now look, even if he had been prophesied over,
It was clear that God was setting him up, you know, to be president and on and on, to lead the way to end communism.
We just said that.
And by the way, people forget, common sense would have said, we're not ending communism.
What are you kidding?
Right.
But Reagan knew somehow that God had called him to do this.
Yeah.
And it's kind of like with George Washington, you're doing the impossible, but if God is with you, it's not impossible.
But you have to know that God is with you.
So this DP thing, he needs.
knew somehow that God had called him for this. It was his calling. Remember in the movie,
I had not heard this before, but that book that he read very young in life, the printer,
the printer of that Udells. That printer of Udells. It's a weird title. It's like a 1908 book
or something. And it inspired him. I think he said it was a blueprint for how to defeat
communism. It became his quest. So when he was vice president,
and then president of the Screen Actors Guild,
he thought that was part of the DP,
his divine plan,
because at that time,
communism was trying to take over the unions,
and he was fighting back
against the nefarious communist forces
that wanted to infiltrate Hollywood,
and he was the firewall against it.
And he felt that was his calling.
And in fact, when he was shot,
you reference that he was shot only i forgot it was only months into his yeah into his i remember it
it was 1981 i was a freshman in college and yeah exactly he shot and he could have died
and he knew somehow that god spared him almost to underscore you have a purpose which by the way
uh trump should have been killed but he wasn't so i believe god spared him for a purpose right and in the
film it talks about, and you write about it in your article at stream.org, that not long after this,
Pope John Paul II is also shot within two months and does not die. Yeah. And the two of them. First of all,
Michael Reagan, Ronald's son, said those were the two most important bullets in history. Because if they had both
found their mark, what would we have been facing? Right? If Reagan was out,
and if the Pope was taken out, he said those were the two bullets.
But both men, I mean, they were avowed anti-Soviet communists,
and they were men of great faith and character, nobility.
They knew their purpose and calling.
And independently, each of them forgave their shooter,
which was a miraculous thing.
And the quote in the book, I think it's in my piece,
Reagan knew, I have to forgive this shooter if my calling will be fulfilled.
I cannot harbor unforgiveness or hatred towards this man.
And the Pope did the same thing.
It's stunning.
It is stunning.
It is stunning.
And I have to say, again, I expect so little from films.
The fact that this film does what it does, I was just in awe.
I couldn't believe I'm sitting there loving a film, being choked up.
I mean, so much of it was so moving and beautiful.
Yeah.
It was extremely well done.
Yeah.
I mean, there are good films, and then there are great films.
Great films.
And by the way, I got to give a shout to my friend Mark Joseph.
He has been working on this.
He's been the man behind this for 20 years.
For years, he's talked about this.
The fact that it's finally happened, and it's so beautifully done.
To get Dennis Quay to give the performance.
of his life, folks.
It's just amazing.
So I hope that America will see the film because I do think when I saw it, it inspired me
so much, I thought to myself, this is going to help this election somehow.
It just inspires you to want to be patriotic and to fight for the country.
We've forgotten what real leadership looks like and sounds like and walks like and decides
like we've lost that
that real, powerful,
strong resolve
in leadership and
as an orator and somebody
who really stood
with what they believed.
He didn't go back and forth.
He didn't waffle a lot. He knew what he believed.
And that's what was refreshing.
It's just incredibly refreshing.
And I agree with you. I think
if everybody could go out and see this movie
and, you know, rotten tomatoes and all the predictable sources.
They're panning the movie.
It is...
I don't know how in the world anybody could pan this movie.
Folks, you know me if you listen to this program.
I mean, there's a lot of films out there.
I really rave about a film.
Yeah.
This is just beautiful.
I mean, it was so well done.
There's so many aspects of it that were...
I'm just interested in the story, but the way the story was told,
there was so much about it.
And also, it's valuable.
in the sense that it's communicating history to a lot of people that are not as old as we are.
They don't remember this.
They didn't live through it.
Suddenly it's a long time ago.
And we're going through something very similar now.
So I just feel it's just powerful.
We just got 30 seconds left.
Final thoughts.
Eric, think of one of the closing scenes.
Alzheimer's has begun to take root.
And he's allowed to ride his horse one last time.
And his Secret Service saddles up.
And they do this little walk.
And I'm covered in goosebumps now because you know that was real.
He was battling with Alzheimer's.
And it ended with such inspiration that right until the end, he was Ronnie.
It was absolutely spectacular.
Folks, you got to see this.
You can bring your family.
It's like the movie of the year.
I don't know what to say.
It's just, it's absolutely, absolutely amazing.
Okay, Keith Junta, people can read your article at stream.org or winepatch.org, Ronald Reagan and the DP.
Keith Junta, thank you.
Thank you so much.
Hey there, folks.
I want to tell you all about the Greek crews.
It's insane.
We're really doing it.
We're not talking about doing it.
We're not thinking about doing it.
We're actually doing it.
It's happening.
And in a minute, I'm going to give you the crazy details.
But before that, did you see there was an article
everybody should know by now that Christianity today has gone over to the dark side.
Don't subscribe to it, don't read it.
And if you need proof, the other day they put out an article saying,
Christians should send their kids to public schools because kind of a good training.
It's kind of like send them to prison so they can get tough and learn about Christian worldview.
Send them into the ocean so they can learn about sharks.
Yeah, throw them in the water.
So I'm here to tell you that no surprise,
Christianity today is wrong about that. And if you can, if you can, you should homeschool your kids or you should give them quality K-312 Christ-centered education. How do you do that? I don't know. You ask. Well, I'm here to tell you our friends at the Herzog Foundation. Now, Herzog is the German word, means Duke. But Herzog Foundation, they are here to help with all this kind of stuff. And so,
We want you to go to Herzog Foundation.com.
That's Hertzog Foundation.com.
They honestly are there to help.
So this is like there's no gimmick.
They're there to help.
They're set up to foundation, right?
So they want to help you do this, whether it's homeschooling or finding quality Christian education.
There's a lot of free training and services that they provide to Christian educators.
They also have a podcast called The Lines.
The Lion, and you can find that at Reed Lion. That's R-A-D. Readlion.com.
Readlion.com. And speaking about foundations, the Heritage Foundation, they are sponsors on this program. They are heroes doing great stuff.
At the top of the list is something called Project 2025. Every time there's a conservative administration poised to come in, and we hope, by the grace of God, that Trump will be,
that administration. The Heritage Foundation puts together something to, they call it a mandate
for leadership for that incoming conservative administration to help them hit the ground running
and to turn back the evil. We don't need an example of that because you've been alive under the
Biden-Harris administration. So they call it Project 2025. There's all kinds of stuff there. But if you want the
details, you can go to
25truth.com.
So to learn the truth about project
2025, go to www.
2.5truth.com.
Everything's there. The Heritage Foundation has put it in place.
Donald Trump is not behind it,
but I hope he'll get behind it
if he gets in office. But the Heritage Foundation
is behind it, 25truth.com.
Okay, now I'm going to tell you about the crazy cruise.
Are you ready?
You ready?
We're doing a cruise.
Look, how do we put this?
Let me read, I'm going to read the official verbiage, which is in front of me.
It says, I think you know by now that I'm a Texas media.
We're not just committed to defining the serious problem in the American church and in our nation,
but we're equally committed to encouraging the church to learn how to stand for truth today,
how to make a difference, and to know that God wants us to make a difference.
So, yeah, we're on a mission, right.
And we're going to be spending 10 days in the Greek islands on this huge cruise ship next June 6th through 16th, starting off in Athens.
We're calling it Hope for the Future Cruise.
Athens, Thessaloniki, Ephesus, Istanbul, Istanbul, Turkey, Volos, Mekino, Santorini, Roads, and Crete.
And we won't only visit and tour these amazing places, but we're going to have special sessions on board.
I'm going to give talks on most of my books.
and we'll have fun Q&A.
And we have a lot of special guests.
Chris and I are brainstorming.
Who can we lure to join us to make it even more fun?
So if you want to go there, go to InspirationTravel.com slash emc.
